I have a problem with Ilhan Omar’s antisemitism more than others because she has a significant number of Jewish constituents. She represents Minnesota’s 5th, which contains the heaviest concentration of Jews in Minnesota. I can’t find actual numbers that are recent, but to give an idea, her district contains the Minneapolis JCC, and her district is where you go to find the grocery stores that carry kosher meat.

I have a problem with Ilhan Omar as a person because when she was campaigning in 2018 she had several events at local synagogues, where her left leaning platform got tons of support and she came in and said how she loved Jews and loved Israel and never once mentioned that she supported BDS (a fact which she kept off of her website until AFTER the election,) and I don’t like liars. I know several people who voted for her who would not have done so if she had been honest about her platform, and that really bugs me.

Next time anyone insists “the protests can’t be antisemitic, there are Jews involved,” remember that we have a sitting congressperson putting a target on the backs of all Jewish students who aren’t. A full grown adult member of congress is putting a target on the backs of young people her daughter’s age.

I really shouldn’t have to be explaining why it’s antisemitic to say that any Jew who doesn’t identify themselves as part of one particular group is “pro-genocide.” I really shouldn’t have to explain why it’s so insidious to say “antisemitism is wrong, no matter how genocidal so many Jews are 🥰” She knows exactly what she’s doing. The only question is, do they?

The President of the United States just told a foreign power to ban--from the entire country--two members of the United States Congress, both natural-born citizens of the United States, simply because Trump doesn’t like them or their politics (or their ethnicity) and decided to start a feud with them.

Also, Trump totally lied while doing it, but that’s hardly news.

Both Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have expressed support for the BDS movement, which sides with Palestinians in their conflict with Israel and urges “Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions” to pressure Israel into making concessions. Neither of these members of Congress, however, has ever said, suggested, or demonstrated in any way that they “hate” Israel or “hate” all Jewish people. (The folks who actually “hate” all Jewish people are neo-Nazis. You know, the ones Trump called “very fine people.”)

To the extent that these women have expressed anti-Israel views--which they certainly have--they have never said or demonstrated that nothing “can be said or done to change their minds.” To the contrary: When Omar tweeted earlier this year that Republicans support Israel because a prominent Israeli lobbying firm had supposedly bought their support, she was criticized for playing into the old anti-Semitic slur that Jews and Jewish money control everything (a slur of which Trump himself took advantage during his 2016 campaign). Instead of doubling-down (as Trump does) or denying it (as Trump does), Omar’s reaction to her criticism was listening, learning, and apologizing (three things you will never ever see Trump do):

“Anti-Semitism is real and I am grateful for Jewish allies and colleagues who are educating me on the painful history of anti-Semitic tropes. My intention is never to offend my constituents or Jewish Americans as a whole. We have to always be willing to step back and think through criticism, just as I expect people to hear me when others attack me for my identity. This is why I unequivocally apologize.”

Furthermore, when the House of Representatives responded to Omar’s tweet with a formal resolution “Condemning anti-Semitism as hateful expressions of intolerance that are contradictory to the values and aspirations that define the people of the United States,” both Omar and Tlaib voted in favor of it. (In fact, every single Democrat voted for it, while 23 Republicans voted against it.) And when it passed, they released a joint statement:

“We are tremendously proud to be part of a body that has put forth a condemnation of all forms of bigotry including anti-Semitism, racism, and white supremacy. At a time when extremism is on the rise, we must explicitly denounce religious intolerance of all kinds and acknowledge the pain felt by all communities. Our nation is having a difficult conversation and we believe this is great progress.”

Doesn’t sound much like someone who hates all Jewish people and whose mind is impervious to change, does it?

So, to recap:

Reality: Omar and Tlaib are pro-Palestinian, support the BDS movement, and oppose Israel’s policies.

Trump: Omar and Tlaib “hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds.”

Israel: Omar and Tlaib “deny our [Israel’s] right to exist in this world.”

But why should we expect the truth from Tlaib, or Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), for that matter? It was only after winning the Democratic primary that Tlaib switched from endorsing a two-state solution to endorsing one state and ending foreign aid to Israel, putting her leftward of J Street. For her part, Omar pretended to oppose BDS until after winning her election last November.

As for the pro-boycott resolution Reps. Omar, Tlaib, and John Lewis recently introduced, it compares their effort not only to the super patriotic Boston Tea Party, but also to a boycott of Nazi Germany, casting Israelis as modern-day Nazis. Notably, IHRA offers “drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis” as another example of antisemitism.

Among the greatest deceptions in this area, though, has to be the co-sponsors already affiliated with this pro-boycott resolution. Of the 14 co-sponsors, seven voted for the House’s widely popular anti-boycott resolution: Democratic Reps. John Lewis of Georgia, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, Donald Payne Jr. of New Jersey, Jim McGovern of Massachusetts, Peter DeFazio of Oregon, Joaquin Castro of Texas, and Mark DeSaulnier of California. Talk about trying to split the baby! But for the record, the logic truly doesn’t work.

If you believe in democracy, if you believe in science, if you believe in justice and workers' rights, well...you can just hold your breath

1. Donald Trump is, at his core, an authoritarian leader who does not believe in democracy.

In a democracy we can and will have strong differences of opinion on issues. As you well know, there are ideological disputes within the Democratic Party, and there are certainly very major differences between Democrats and Republicans, progressives, moderates and conservatives. But, up until the Trump administration, no president (except for Obama, Bush, Bush, Clinton, Reagan and many others) has ever undermined the very tenets of American democracy and tried to move us into an authoritarian society.

No president has ever suggested delaying an election because he is behind in the polls. No president has ever stated that he might not voluntarily leave office and accept the results of an election. No president has ever viciously discredited and undermined the election process warning, without fact, of massive voter fraud. Trump's admiration for authoritarianism becomes apparent as he has ruptured our relationships with long-time democratic allies around the world while embracing right-wing authoritarian leaders in Russia, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, the Philippines and elsewhere.

(No people have ever been stupid enough and apathetic enough to elect such a piece of brainless pigshit.)

2. Donald Trump does not understand or respect the Constitution of the United States. (and most cops swear an oath to it having never read it with no clue what’s in it.)

Donald Trump, emulating demagogues throughout history, believes that he is above the law and need not follow the dictates of the Constitution. He was impeached because he has shown absolute contempt for Congress and the separation of powers. He has waged an unprecedented war against the concept of a free press and "fake news," and has repeatedly referred to the media as "an enemy of the people." He has violated the right of Americans to peacefully protest and is "normalizing" the use of federal agents to patrol and make arrests of American citizens in communities throughout the country.

3. Donald Trump is a pathological liar. ( - welcome to America, Bernie!)

We cannot have anything resembling a stable government when we have a president who lies all of the time and when nothing he says can be trusted. According to a recent report, he has made more than 20,000 false or misleading statements since he has been president.

4. Donald Trump does not believe in science. (And neither does many other politicians and many Americans...US of Duh!)

From the first days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Trump has rejected the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and our leading scientists, which has led to the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of Americans and the highest per capita death rate of any major country.

And, as he's done for years, Trump continues to ignore the scientific community when it comes to the existential threat of climate change. Instead of transforming our energy system away from fossil fuel, he has pushed policies which result in more carbon emissions.

5. Donald Trump's policies benefit his billionaire friends, while attacking the needs of working families. (He’s had a lot of help from both sides of the aisle)

During his 2016 campaign Trump claimed that he would stand with the working class and "drain the swamp." He lied. He has appointed more billionaires to important positions than any other president in history while giving massive tax breaks to the very rich and large corporations. At a time of obscene income and wealth inequality, he continues to try to throw over 20 million Americans off the health insurance they already have, and do away with protections for pre-existing conditions. While the rich become much richer, his budgets have repeatedly called for huge cuts in Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, education and nutrition programs.

6. Donald Trump is a racist. (- Donald and about half of America)

From the start of his 2016 campaign, until today, he has tried to divide us up based on the color of our skin or where we were born. He has strongly supported voter suppression efforts which make it harder for African Americans to vote, and consistently made ugly and disparaging remarks against African American leaders. Recently, he bragged about an executive order which makes it harder for minority families to move into the suburbs.

7. Donald Trump is a xenophobe. (Trump is many things that could be described with a psychiatric multisyllabic term. You should have left it at racist.)

Trump has tried, as all demagogues do, to demonize immigrants and blame them for society’s problems. He has used hateful and disgraceful rhetoric to try to dehumanize an entire group of people, and has used the power of the federal government to mistreat and terrorize immigrants at the border and in our communities.

8. Donald Trump is a sexist. (I think I would have mentioned Trump’s recent get-free-soon card to Ghislane Maxwell alongside some pictures of the bastard with his dumbfuck daughter in his lap.)

Not only has Trump led the effort to deny women the right to control their own bodies and defund Planned Parenthood, he has — throughout his adult life — made disparaging and condescending comments about women. It is not surprising that some of his ugliest attacks have been against strong women leaders like Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Carmen Yulín Cruz Soto.

9. Donald Trump is a religious bigot. (- nah, christians are racists, supremacists and conservative and they need him and they are expedient. Donald really doesn't give a fuck about any christians or jews. He’d turn on them like a mad dog, if it suited him.)

One of the first things Trump did after taking office was sign an executive order for the discriminatory Muslim ban to prohibit people from several Muslim-majority countries from traveling to the United States. He has used the office of the presidency to demonize the Muslim community and to try to divide us up based on our religious beliefs.

10. Donald Trump is hostile to the LGBTQ community. (small shaft, so sad)

During his administration, Trump has waged continued assaults on the rights of LGBTQ people. He recently rolled back health protections for transgender people and previously banned them from serving in the military. He has also reversed protections that defend LGBTQ people from discrimination in the workplace and at school.

11. The Democrat Party is the same kind of shit as the Republican Party.

 Lying Joe Blow Biden, will enact the same fascist neoliberal anti worker, no health care policies as Trump but because Joe has dementia he’ll keep his mouth shut and won’t embarrass everyone as much. And, of course the useless DNC can and will mindlessly and insanely pretend to be our savior...

Trump Card Review

I can clearly recall the day I came across Dinesh D’Souza on YouTube in late 2016. This was during my phase in life where I thought I was smarter than other people because I watched popular conservative personalities on the internet. This was during a time where I was trying to find my identity in politics, where did I truly stand on topics. This was during the election of 2016, where it felt like a shift in the politics I knew as a kid. Something seemed different, more divided if you will, maybe they were always like this and as I got older, I finally realized the situation. I would watch these videos that had millions of views of talking heads going to colleges and trying to impose their point of view. The appeal at the time was that they were confronting ideas that seemed to attack a viewpoint I didn’t understand because I was close-minded. It wasn’t until I went to college and started talking to people that come from my background that I could see other’s perspectives.

So how does this tie into D’Souza, well next to Ben Shapiro this was a guy I saw in the recommended section on YouTube all the time, I never clicked on the videos but I was aware of him being someone doing the same thing. I wasn’t aware that he pleaded guilty to a campaign finance violation donating around $30,000 when the limit is $5,000. His lawyer was claiming that it was a misguided act of friendship. This is important because since then he has had this chip on his shoulder about it claiming that Obama was going out of his way to suppress conservative voices. Instead of accepting that he got a light sentence and a cushy place to call jail he instead tried to make it a point of contention in his other films. While I have only seen Death of a Nation I probably will get around to his other films because from Trump Card and Death of a Nation I believe that D’Souza is a fraud. He is a liar who will say anything to provoke people and try to “own the libs” which gets clicks and mouthpieces to discuss what he’s doing. It comes off as pathetic when looking at his personality he’s built up.

Eventually I met new people with ideas that challenge mine. It was easier to see their perspective since I was able to associate with them, know who they were, and acknowledge where they were coming from. I got curious and began to wonder what D’Souza was up to these days and that’s how I came across his film Death of a Nation which I dragged my brother and a friend to. We were the only people in the theater who were under the age of forty. Watching that movie was akin to having my brain become smoothed over and then shaken about like how a baby would shake their rattler. It was easy to laugh at the movie because it was pure nonsense. Much of nothing about that movie really amounts or added to anything other than echo beliefs you already had. It was a film that was never going to expose anyone to anything new.

So what is Trump Card all about then? Well as the title implies it suggests that Trump is someone who is created by the system democrats put into place when having Obama in office. D’Souza then starts to interview people on the fringes of politics asking them questions about Obama being a part of the deep state, or how Ilhan Omar is somehow going to cause the fall of America since radical Muslims love her, but doesn’t do anything to help back up his points other than the trustworthy words of someone who claims that he gave Obama oral while he was doing crack in a limo. D’Souza also then looks to tackle school shootings saying that democrats and liberals have helped create an environment that allows for these crimes to happen since they are doing everything in their power to remove guns. It is really disgusting to watch D’Souza exploit the pain of a family for his talking point to “own the libs” as you see that the parents are still suffering from the loss of their child in a school shooting. D’Souza has a technique of asking leading questions to get the answer he wants for the skewed perspective of how republicans are the only people who are here to protect the country.

It wouldn’t be a D’Souza documentary without the horrible recreations. This time it’s 1984 and Lincoln narrating a speech as he rides a train into modern day whilst also having the communist flag across recognizable landmarks and having figures like Stalin and Lenin on Mount Rushmore. At least this time he has learned how to use green screen effects and using better rendering methods for this 3D effects since in Death of a Nation it looked like it came from the PS2 era of visual effects. The purpose of having 1984 is to have it alliterate how liberals want to control your mind ala 4 is actual 5. In his Lincoln monologue it is just Lincoln speaking about America at the time while having him looking concerned out the window of a train as we cut to B-roll footage of America’s landscapes with an anthem playing proudly.

Trump Card is a movie that is only out right now since it’s an election year released in October. If you were to ask me I don’t think that this is meant to convert people, but to help reaffirm those who already believe this. This is not anything more than a propaganda piece for Trump since Trump was the one who pardoned him from his light sentence. This is also the same movie that is takes a section dedicating it to Trump’s apartment ventures in New York ignoring all the racial issues that occurred during the time or fails to acknowledge how Trump wanted the death penalty for The Central Park Five and still believes that they are guilty of their crimes they have since been proven innocent of. This is nothing more than a fluff piece that serves to give an ego boost to Trump’s followers as they are some of the most vindicated people in the country right now, but aims to give them more ammo to fire out when people want to criticize the President. For me, this is simply a poorly made film that aims to do nothing more than leave me disinterested and disgusted with the attempts to make something to cover the truth or disfigure the reality of these hot button issues so much that it is hard to believe that this is even real. It is mental gymnastics put together in one convenient film for people to observe for years to come.

Mundy Martin wrote on Elijahlist 9/20/2020— “On September 11, just days ago , the Lord Jesus showed me the urgency to pray for Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Many of you may have seen the urgent word God gave me on Facebook on 9-11 (I have pasted it in below).  Let’s really be praying for her family right now. The fact that God showed me this urgency just days before her passing shows me that he is heartbroken for the sinner. It also shows me that yes, even someone as pro-choice as Ruth Bader Ginsberg was, has a chance to repent before she dies.”

Did you realize Ginsberg died over the time of Rosh Hashanah— 6 p.m. 9/19 through 5:59 p.m. 9/20/2020—on God’s Jewish Calendar this is Happy New Year? There’s been a shift in the heavens.

God began to impress on me over a month ago, about love of the extreme kind. He said, ‘it’s time to pray and intercede for your ex-daughter-in-law as fervently as you did when she was in the family.’ ‘Really God?’ I whined. This took a little bit to work into.

**God began to impress on me, ‘pray for ANTIFA and BLM, especially the ones who are burning Bibles and flags. Pray as fervently as you would if they were your grandchildren.’ ‘Really God? I can’t see why God? All these haters and troublemakers?’ I’m struggling but trying to fulfill this one. **God began to impress on me, ‘pray for Pelosi, Clinton, Schumer, Obama, Schiff, ACO, Ilhan Omar, Biden, Harris, anon.’ ‘You’ve got to be kidding, right God?’ I replied, ‘Don’t You think that’s a bit overboard? You’re telling me to pray for them as I would my own children? I can’t. It’s not in me.’ **God replied, you were one of them before I called you to Me for salvation. You tortured Jesus with your sins. What’s the difference?’

As I read Martin’s post, I realized, no matter how my love for others has grown— I don’t have the capacity in me yet for this kind of God love. Do you? Paul wrote this about love of the extreme kind— 1Corinthians 13:1-3ESV “…but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. …but have not love, I am nothing. …but have not love, I gain nothing.”

How much love do you have? You can’t pray for people and continue to hate them. When the prayer investment is made, you’re maybe the only one changed. But God’s kind of love will have grown. So what will it be? It’s your choice. You choose.

PRAYER: Father forgive us for not loving as we have been loved. Help us to act like Jesus in this, in Jesus Christ’s name I pray.
