Top 10 Games I Want Ported FROM PC IX: Bitter Flesh

At this point, I think I’ve started to think of my contribution to those yearly “Top 10 Most Anticipated Games” articles as my first Retronaissance post for the year. I know that I usually like to make a point of putting out at least one post every two months on here. But given my current work schedule and various other projects elsewhere, I just can’t really spare the time to do anything more…

Ikina-as-Inquisitor was created strictly so that I could get Ikina and her wife (Ashara) running around together - it's definitely not her story. I'm thinking now that Ikina actually is Force sensitive, but only marginally - maybe enough to play sabacc well or check on her daughter or wife if they are close by, but not enough even to be picked up by people who meet her. Certainly not enough to train as any sort of Force user. Just enough to give her an intuitive edge with her slicing and information brokering. I'm trying to find "I'm just an everyday expert slicer" clothes for Ikina so she's certainly not kitted out like an Inquisitor, overall.

This was a random drop and is really pretty on her.

These pieces are among the earliest drops in the game for Sith Inquisitors, and i really like them, especially dyed.

Places: The Bunker part 1

((I grew up in a house on a street called Bunker--I spent ten formative years in the place and still feel a very emotional attachment to it, which is why it's stuck around in my mind in a way other dwellings haven't. The layout in the Paracosm has stayed much the same, but some of the rooms have changed functionally.))

On the ground floor, the front door opens into the living room. To the left is a closet for shoes, on the wall left of that are coat hooks, and across from the hooks are the stairs to the second floor. From the front door you can see straight out the back door, which is sliding glass. House Rules state the polite thing to do is to go around to the backyard and enter through this sliding door, as enemies and solicitors who are unfamiliar with this rule would use the front door.

The living room has two big couches and a TV on the wall--as in reality, the wall around the TV is covered in framed family photos, one of which stretches along the entire length of the wall (HUGE family, remember). Mostly this is just a transitional room, as Giriko likes to sleep on the couch between shifts. This is also the center of family movie or video game night.

If you pass through the living room, there is a hallway on the left with two doors on either side and a door at the end. The door at the end and the first left are closets. The second on the left is M4's room, shared with Jack, Marshall, and Lapis--the entrance to the basement is in this room, as well as a second TV people can use when the living room is occupied.

The first door on the right is the bathroom, and the second was the children's playroom before being turned into a nursery for the babies. The closet in that room still has a big scorch mark on it from when a Reaper ((class of demon, not actual death spirit)) tried to force its way into the plane of existence.

On the upper floor, the stairs open onto a hallway with a single door to the left and right. The left door is a room called the Girl Cave--M4 used to sleep there before moving downstairs post-marriage, and three of her sisters (Elliott, Maureen, and Eruka) still share the room. The rule is no guys allowed except by invitation, and the walls are a rich purple colour.

Directly across the hall is the kids' room--Casey, Casey, Ikina, Ruki, Ikinako, and Rukimi all share it. The closet is magically enhanced to expand into a full playroom, and the walls are inscribed with faint runes to protect the children from anything that might try to reopen the portal to the Midnight Market while they sleep. There are two triple-bunk beds in the room, and they rotate like Ferris Wheels to give each kid a fair chance at top bunk--on the left is Casey, Ruki, and Ikinako, and on the left is (other) Casey, Ikina, and Rukimi.

Right now on my main server I have 13 Imperial characters vs. 8 Republic. On the secondary server I have 6 Imperials vs. 5 Republic. And on the Europeans servers, it's all Imperials. I wanted to play through every advanced class so I have at least two of each - two troopers, two Jedi Knights, etc. But with the exception of the Smuggler story, the Imperial stories are far more interesting and the ones I prefer to repeat. Which class do you play as the most? Sith Warrior, specifically Vengeance Juggernaut. I love that style. Which race do you play as the most?

I think it's about even between human and Mirialan. How many have completed KotFE/KotET? As of right now - 16/31 on the two main servers. I have three more going through KOTFE right now. A few did skip KOTFE but all did KOTET. There are one or two I'm holding back - like I'm holding my canon smuggler, Marlena, in the hopes she can romance Risha in the game someday. And there's one I just stopped playing because I dislike that advanced class's combat (the Sage). How many have completed up to Secrets of the Enclave? 15/31. I'm holding back canon Viri until I see exactly how the story shakes out. Even though most of it already is not headcanoned for her. Who stayed loyal to their class romance? Who didn’t? Well, I'm sapphic, I prefer to play F/F romances and the game wouldn't let my female toons romance women, so I don't do the class romances. One of my Sith Inquisitors romanced Andronikos out of curiosity but broke it off for Lana. The exception is Felix Iresso. My Sage romanced him, and I'm just leaving them at the end of the class story as they are. I did have one bounty hunter who romanced Torian but it honestly was an accident - I hit [flirt] once because the other choices were rude, and that was enough to lock it in with no way to back out. I don't count as a legit romance because I didn't want it (and I broke it off in KOTFE as soon as I could). My Consular Shadow got with Nadia after Ossus, and my Jedi Knight started a romance with Kira after Onslaught since both were opened to SGR- I take those F/F opportunities where the game provides them. Who started a romance with Lana, Theron, or Koth? Lana - The canon romance with her is with my Sith Warrior, Viri. But most of the toons going through KOTFE and onward end up romancing her (see the comment above about there being no sapphic romances in the class stories, and no others in KOTFE/KOTET). The Lana romance is sweet as anything, but I do think some of my characters might fit better with other ladies. As mentioned I'm holding back one or two characters (namely my smuggler) to see if they can do a F/F romance with their class story companion later. I also hold some to flirt with Major Anri and would go for that with a couple of toons if a romance ever becomes possible. Viri 1.0. My very first Sith Warrior, whom I've played for 4-5 years now. Because of a lot of her decisions she is not canon Viri, but I love her. Who is your newest? SCRUTINERA CHAPTER 3: "Estrangherong Sorbetero"

Isang pangkaraniwang araw ng pag-uwi ni Vandrel galing sa isang linggong pag-aaral, papunta na siya sa bahay nila. Ngunit bago matunton iyon ay kailangan muna niyang magstopover sa sentro ng lungsod na sumasakop sa barangay niyang tinitirhan.

“OK lang ba ang lasa Miss?” tanong ng sorbetero. Isa itong maskuladong matandang lalaki na tantiya niya ay mahigit 50-anyos na. Parang ex-military ang tindig nito. Magalang at mabait naman kung tingnan ang pagmumukha nito, at maayos naman itong tingnan sa suot nitong puting polo-shirt at blue jeans.

“OK siya Manong, kakaiba ang sarap niya. Ano hong flavor ito?”

“Multi-fruit flavored yan Miss. Ako mismo ang nagtimpla niyan, expriment-experiment kumbaga, hanggang sa nakuha ko ang ganyang timpla.” Nagpaliwanag ng konti ang lalaki hanggang sa nasabi nito na hindi raw niya dapat ilahad lahat para huwag siyang maagawan ng ibang sorbetero.

Naintindihan naman ni Vandrel iyon. Humanga siya sa pagkatao nito. Batid niyang matalino ito at malikhain. Binigyan siya ng plastic chair ng lalaki para makaupo siya ng maayos. Gumaan agad ang loob ni Vandrel sa lalaki. Nagustuhan niya ang aura at pakikipag-kaibigan nito. Nag-usap silang dalawa.

“Hinihintay mo ba ang boyfriend mo Miss? ”

“Naku Manong, anong boyfriend? Wala munang ganyan sa buhay ko ngayon.”

“So medyo lonely ang buhay mo ngayon? Walang mag-aalaga, wala ring… magbibigay ng sarap? ”

Agad namang dinugtungan ng lalaki ang kanyang sinabi, “Joke lang yun Miss ha, huwag kang magagalit.”

“OK lang yon Manong,” sagot ni Vandrel sabay ngiti. Napa-isip si Vandrel. May isang matandang pala-kaibigan na nag-umpisa ng usapang kapilyuhan. Gustong maaliw ni Vandrel ngayon. Naisip niyang patulan ito.

“Importante ba talaga sa inyong mga lalaki yan Manong, yang pagpapasarap na tinutukoy n’yo? Kahit sa panahon n’yo dati?

Sinagot ng lalaki ang tanong na iyon ng may kapilyuhan. At nagsalita pa ito ng ilang mga punto sa papakipag-relasyon na ikinabilib ni Vandrel ng husto. Ang galing nitong magpayo. Batid niyang kung gagawin lang ng babae’t-lalaki ang mga ganoong bagay ay malamang maging perpekto na ang isang relasyon.

Gumaan pang lalo ang loob niya sa lalaki. Para na silang matagal na magkakilala. Hanggang sa dumako ang kanilang usapan sa sekswal na paksa.

Nagkomento kasi ang lalaki tungkol sa angking ganda at alindog ni Vandrel. Nababastusan siya sa umpisa, ngunit agad namang nawala iyon. Kalaunan ay ikinagalak na niya’t ikina-kilig pa ang mga “medyo bastos” na papuri ng lalaki.

Naghatid din ito ng kakaibang init sa kanyang katawan at syempre pa, kasali na rin ang kakaibang pamamasa sa hiwa sa pagitan ng kanyang mga hita. Nagtaka si Vandrel sa sarili kung bakit ganoon ang naging reaksyon ng katawan niya.

Lumipas ang ilang minuto, na naging mahigit isang oras. Patuloy pa ring nakikipag-usap si Vandrel sa matandang ngayon lang niya nakatagpo. Manghang-mangha siya sa lawak ng kaalaman nito at aliw aliw din siya sa mga patawa nito.

Nagkuweto din ito tungkol sa personal nitong buhay. Nalaman niya na sampung taon na pala itong biyudo, at ang pangalan pala nito ay Jovelio Pamilgan. Pumanaw na pala ang asawa nito dahil sa isang aksidente. Taimtim na nakinig si Vandrel sa kuwento ng lalaki, awang-awa siya dito.

Narinig din niya ang ilang mga prinsipyo nito sa buhay at napagtanto niyang isang mabait na tao lang ang maaring humawak ng mga prinsipyong ganoon. Kahit may konting dirty talk ang humahalo sa kanilang usapan ay parang balewala na iyon sa kanya.

Sa pag-usad ng kanilang pag-uusap ay nagpayo ang lalaki tungkol sa pagkuha ng bagong kasintahan. “Hindi ka naman mahihirapan sa paghahanap ng bagong boyfriend Miss. Kaakit-akit naman ang hitsura mo, sobrang maayos naman ang iyong tindig,”

“Napaka-bolero mo talaga Manong, wala pa naman akong barya dito.”

“Seryoso ako Miss, maganda ang hugis ng iyong mukha, maayos ang proportions ng iyong katawan, nabiyayaan ka ng nakaka-bighaning hitsura, hindi ako nagbibiro.”

Aninag ni Vandrel sa mukha ng lalaki na parang seryoso nga ito. Ngayon lang siya kinilig ng ganito… napakasarap sa pakiramdam. Sana’y nakapagsabi ng ganito ang kanyang mga dating nobyo, o kaya’y mga dating manliligaw. “Salamat sa compliments Manong, sana nga ay totoo.”

Nagpatuloy pa sa pagpaliwanag si Mang Jovelio tungkol sa body proportions ng isang babae, at kung sa anong dahilan napabilang si Vandrel sa mga babaing likas na nakakabighani. “Mahahaba kasi ang legs mo Miss at ang iyong mga suso… naku!”

“Naku, ano?” tugon ni Vandrel.

“Papayag akong mamatay pagkatapos… mahawakan ko lang at matikman ‘yan!”

“Ay, shit ka Manong!” Di mapigilang hampasin ni Vandrel ng kanyang palad ang balikat ng lalaki habang tumatawa.

Ilang minuto pa ay may sinabi si Mang Jovelio na nagbukas ng napakaraming kaalaman kay Vandrel, na magiging mahahalagang instrumento para sa mga sexual adventures niya sa mga susunod na araw at taon.

“Idedetalye ko kung bakit nasabi kong sobrang masarap ka Miss, OK lang ba sa’yo?” tanong ni Mang Jovelio.

Walang kaide-ideya si Vandrel sa kahahantungan ng mga sasabihin ng lalaki, kaya’t agad lang siyang sumagot. “Sige Manong! Game!”

Napayuko si Vandrel sa bandang ibaba ng kanyang katawan. Pinagmamasdan niya si Mang Jovelio habang

pinaghahalikan nito ang kanyang binti. Pagkatapos ay hinubad nito ang kanyang rubber shoes at medyas. Pinaghahalikan agad nito ang mga kuko sa isa niyang paa, at sinupsop pa ang mga daliri niyon. Patuloy iyong nangyari pati sa isa pa niyang paa. Pati mga talampakan niya ay pinaghahalikan at pinagdidilaan rin ni Manong.

Napakatakaw tingnan nito, ngunit di makikakailang mukhang magaling nga ito sa larangan ng pagpapasarap.

Pagkatapos ay bumalik si Mang Jovelio sa paghahalik at pagdidila sa kanyang binti. Pataas ng pataas ang bibig at dila nito hanggang sa kanyang mga hita. Doon ito nagtagal. Habang nakayuko ay kitang-kita ni Vandrel ang lahat ng iyon. Ngunit sa isip lang niya nasasaksihan ang malaswa, at nakakalibog na mga detalyeng iyon. Iyon kasi ang sinasabi ng lalaki na gagawin nito matapos makapagbigay ng mga papuri tungkol sa kung gaano raw kaganda at kasarap ang kanyang mga hita.

“Woh, Grabe! Ganun talaga ka detalyado? Huuh! My god! Nakaka-shock ka naman Manong!” wika ni Vandrel habang di pinapahalatang nag-iinit siya ng husto dahil nga ay isinalarawan niya iyon sa kanyang isip.

Napalingon-lingon siya sa paligid, nag-alalang baka nahahalata siya ng mga taong dumadaan. Nagkataon namang may lumapit na kustomer, inasikaso muna iyon ni Mang Jovelio.

It’s Time to Duel in Darkest Mana: Master of the Table

A mysterious card game created by magicians summons the spirits of heroes long gone and battles that passed into legends. This is the background of Darkest Mana: Master of the Table, which is out now on Steam.

Calling to mind collectable card games mush as Magic: The Gathering or Yu-Gi-Oh!, Darkest Mana: Master of the Table lets users build a deck and take on players from around the world.

Users can build a deck from character cards which act as main damage dealers, while magic cards act as support. As you would expect, more cards can be unlocked as you play, or won from opponents. As more cards are collected, the strategy becomes increasingly complex, with new combinations available to confound your foes.

There is a global online option that lets players pit their skills against other players in online ranked matches. He ranking system allows for players of a similar level of experience and skill to be matched together.

For players who are not ready to face the online matches, a single player mode is also available, which lets players face against the AI in over twenty stages that have been designed to test player skill.

Developer IKINA Games created Darkest Mana: Master of the Table for the HTC Vive, requiring track motion controllers to select the cards and choose various options. A variety of language options is available, including English, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. It is unknown at this point if there are plans to port the title to other VR systems
