IkeSen vs IkeGen in 17th August competition
Note: By the way, yesterday is Independence Day in Indonesia. So congrats for Indonesia for 79 years. I hope no more drama and injustice in my country.
-GF Carrying Race -> Nobunaga and Mai vs Yoritomo and Yoshino
-Clog Race -> Hideyoshi, Masamune, Ranmaru vs Morinaga, Shigehira, Kagetoki
-Climbing Race -> Kenshin, Yukimura, Sasuke, Shingen vs Yoshitsune, Yoichi, Benkei, Sueharu
-Tennis Using Utensils -> Kennyo and Mitsuhide vs Tamamo and Kurama
-Make Up Competition -> Mitsunari and Ieyasu vs Yasuchika and Akihito
-Water Splashing Competition -> Motonari vs Ibuki
-Pillow Fight -> Kichou vs Rikka
Well, i'm sorry for Keiji, Yoshimoto, and Kanetsugu because IkeGen has no more character for the pair. Perhaps you can be the 'biduan' to entertain the supporters.
Note:
"Biduan" actually is a Diva or female singer. But in my country context, it's a sexy singer who sing dangdut music. I hate dangdut music because it's too vulgar. That's why i love J-Pop and K-pop (but it's male only).

1985 Camaro
AMERICAN DREAM, Chapter 2. You can find all other IkeSen works of mine here. NOTES: Brief conversation about prior death, otherwise safe. Thank you @missjudge-me for commissioning this piece!
---
They camped out on the back patio until the sun set. He cooked gyoza and rice balls and some pan-fried chicken, and she ordered ice cream delivery, and they nested their knees together and tucked into a pint of something labeled ‘Just Ask’ and when he asked, she wouldn’t tell him, not even when he tickled her (It wound up being a delicious caramel-Oreo flavor). She instead told him about her degree and moving out, about keeping in contact with Mitsunari as he served in Tanzania through hand-written notes on origami paper. They swapped curated Instagram snapshots and embarrassing anecdotes and reminisced.
“I’m sorry,” she said finally. “About your dad.”
Masamune shrugged. There was nothing to say. It hurt and always would, but that was his private journey. “Old bastard waited too long to have kids s’what. If he’d had me at a nice, respectable age, we wouldn’t be doing this, the old coot!” He waved a dramatic fist at the sky, relishing her giggles. “You fucked up!”
Overhead, his mother’s bedroom light flicked on.
“Shit,” he muttered. She dropped her face into her hands to stifle the raucous laughter.
“How—” Now she was whispering. Masamune wriggled closer, their legs reflexively entwining. “How’s that going?”
“Better than it used to. We can talk without yelling. Something something time and distance. I’m planning on hunkering down here for a little bit, and once all of the stuff is settled, I’ll probably go back north. The restaurant owners offered to hold my position for me, which is really nice.”
“Hell yeah it is. Isn’t that kind of a cut throat world? They must love you.”
“Yeah. Good openings don’t stay open long in the restaurant biz, so that’s really cool.” Absently, he ran his thumb over the whorls of the deck. “What about you? What’s next?”
“Well.” And she paused, eyes luminous. “I got offered a job interview out east. It’s a good job.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.” Once upon a time, when she was too nervous to really settle her heart on something she wanted, she smiled shyly and fluttered her eyes away. Some things stayed the same. His heart surged as the familiar expression played out before him. “It could be a game changer for me.”
“That the case, huh?”
“Yeah. I mean, I have to do some logistics, and I have to interview, right? But if I get it…” She stretched up to the sky, wriggling her fingers long at the clouds, all the prickled flesh on her arms visible in the cold moonlight. Without thinking, he shuffled closer to warm her. “I mean, I have to actually get to the interview first, so there’s the first hurdle.”
Masamune chewed his lip. “How far out is it?”
“It’s in Virginia. Complete other side of the country. The plane tickets are outrageous.”
“Damn. Guess you’re road tripping, huh?”
A gust of warm breath huffed from her lips. “I mean, I hate going on them alone, but I don’t even have a car right now. Mine got totaled; kid hit me when I was driving down here. Guess I’m taking a damn greyhound.”
His first reaction was to say ‘yikes’, and then… well. Masamune paused, soaking in the possibilities. “So you need a car is what you’re saying?”
“Mmhmm.”
Back in the day, his dad often said that the universe lined things up. Masamune didn't exactly believe in fate—he believed in making things happen—but occasionally, he saw the reasoning.
“How do you like eighties cars?” He asked.
She eyed him, a smile in her eyes and voice. “Like the Camaro? Sure, it’s cool. Why?”
Masamune snickered. “Everything in the Date family is cool as hell. What if I told you I could get you a car and a road trip buddy?”
The click of her brain working was almost audible. “Don’t you have to be here?”
“Gotta wait for the death certificates, which is probably a week or so. Mom wants the Camaro gone, and if she has to be around me too long, she’ll probably get sick of me real quick. I might as well make myself scarce and hang out with a dear friend. Besides—I’ll cut you a deal on selling you it. Call it a test drive.”
“A test drive? For like, a week?” But she was grinning, her shoulders angled in toward his. “Weeklong test drives aren’t kosher, Mr. Date.”
“And I’m not Jewish.”
“Are you being serious right now?”
“Serious as my dad’s grave.” Masamume brushed a lock of stray hair from her face, tucking it behind her ear. “Want me along for the ride?”
Once upon a time, years ago, the whole gang got into an altercation with an older man in a Ford pickup. They were only teenagers sitting on a dock, but the guy pulled up and screamed at them for ‘loitering’. Mitsunari tried to intervene, and when the man acted like he might hit him, Ieyasu almost threw hands himself. They’d retreated into the woods—and when the man left, Masamune, Mitsuhide, and she went back and lit the dock on fire to spite him. Right beforehand, she’d fixed him with the most mischievous expression he’d ever seen: mouth sucked into her teeth, eyes glittering, staring out from under her lashes.
Now, she made that same expression, and it lit a fire in him.
“We’d have to leave like…” She mentally calculated. “In three days to make it.”
“Or we could take the long road, do a little sightseeing, and leave tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?” She echoed. Only a half second later, that smile was back. “I’m game.”
---
At six a.m. sharp, Masamune tried to wake her by flinging rocks at her window. That didn't work. At last he resorted to calling her, discovering that she stayed in a completely different room now.
“Could’a used that knowledge,” he chuckled, hopping in place to warm his legs. The fog pressed in around him, September chill early this year. “Don’t suppose anyone is using that room?”
Her voice was thin, but warm over the phone. “No, it’s a home gym now.”
“Great! I didn't hassle anyone else. Get out here, Kitten, we got a road to get on.”
She emerged twenty minutes later, sweatpants fresh from the dryer, wet hair in a sloppy bun and a suitcase click-clacking behind her. She never was a morning person. Masamune snickered and popped the Camaro trunk. “Wanna drive, or wanna let me do it?”
“You start. Can we get some Starbucks?”
“Ugh.” He clutched his chest, mock-wounded. “All of the coffee places in the world, and you want Starbucks. My palate is crying.”
Rolling her eyes, she slid into the passenger seat. “Drama queen.”
They got Starbucks. She tucked her feet into fuzzy socks and folded them under her knees, clutching the large mocha. Only the rush of the road beneath their tires filled the silence. Asphalt and trees emerged from the mist like a benevolent ghost, Americana obscured. They’d only just merged onto the highway when Masamune realized there wasn’t an audio jack in the car.
“Shit,” he muttered.
She opened her eyes, head lolling on the headrest. “What?”
He flicked the dashboard. Nope, no audio jack. Not even a CD player. No; amidst all the toggles and buttons of the dash was a cassette player. “I don’t have anything to listen to. This thing won’t hook up to the phones, and I don’t have any tapes.”
“Hm.” Taking a long sip of her drink, she mused, “Maybe your dad has some in here?”
“I guess that’d make sense. Take a look around, would you?”
Sure enough, she was right. Tucked away in the glove compartment was a treasure trove: Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, AC/DC, Prince, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen. “Damn,” she chuckled, “Your dad had good taste.”
Masamune took the copy of Rumors in his fingers, never taking his eyes off the road. The dust was thick under his thumb. “He’d play ‘Back in Black’ when he picked me up from school. It was cool as hell.” With a snap, he pried open the copy of Rumors and popped it into the player. The speakers hummed to life with strumming guitar, Fleetwood Mac echoing. “I know there’s nothing to say, someone has taken my place…” She rested her elbow on the center console, brushing his arm with her as she texted.
“Guess what?” She murmured. “Mitsunari just got back from Tanzania.”
“Oh shit, really?” How long had it been? Masamune mentally calculated the dates. “I guess it has been two years, huh? The Peace Corps finally turned him loose?”
“Yeah. He’s apparently crashing at Ieyasu’s place—” Masamune barked a laugh, and she tittered, but continued, “—and wants to know if we’re going to head that direction.”
“He’s in Maryland, right?” Fishing out his phone, he checked it. “Yasu didn't tell me about this. Bastard. Well, we get there fast enough, then we can definitely hunker down there for a day or so and celebrate his coming back.”
Classic rock kept them company on the long drive. He didn't mind roadtrips. There was something sacred about them. Forget the American Dream; it was dead. Long live the American Road Trip, a rite of passage for the lost souls from sea to shining sea. Nothing cleared the senses like cranking up the heater on the floorboards and rolling down the window to a blast of autumn air. She let down her hair and it whipped wild in the wind.
Thank God she was here. Masamune quietly relished her reappearance in his life. She was a gateway to an old world, one with his father alive, one where he still snuck out of the house at night and biked to the 7-Eleven for slurpees at 3a.m. They stopped at a Cracker Barrel for dinner and ordered root beer floats and roasted each other over the annoying ‘jump-the-pegs’ game perched on every table. Though you were supposed to reduce it to one peg, she couldn’t quite manage it. Somehow she kept getting two or three.
“I got it down to one peg once,” she laughed, shoving it toward him. Masamune swirled it under his hand.
“I can do it,” he commented. “But that’s because Mitsunari taught me the trick years ago.” He knocked the first peg out of the top of the triangle, moving it elsewhere. “That’s the one that’s gotta be empty. From there on out, there’s a set solution.”
She craned over it, investigating. “What’s the set solution?”
A long, hefty pause lingered between them as he slurped some of his float.
“Dunno anymore.” He cracked a grin. “I forgot like, eight years ago.”
“Ass! Then you don’t know!” She swatted at his arm and grinned. “Liar!”
“Hey! I was just trying to look cool in front’a you, Kitten, I can’t look like some big dumb stud after all these years—”
“I love how you allow for the possibility that you’re dumb,” she cackled, “but not the possibility that you’re anything other than hot.”
“Am I wrong? Look at me.”
The roll of her eyes was exactly what he wanted. She shoved a biscuit at him over the table. “I think Mark Twain said something like, ‘it’s better to stop talking and appear dumb than open your mouth and remove any doubt’, Masamune.”
He clutched at his chest, but took the biscuit anyway. “You wound me, Kitten.”
As they were paying the bill, she split off and reappeared a minute later, plunking thirty cents onto the cash register and tucking a cinnamon stick into his jacket pocket. “Here.”
“My favorite!” He peeled back the plastic wrapper. “Thanks, Kitkat. You remembered.”
For the first time since they’d seen each other again, her expression evolved to one he’d almost forgotten. He’d only seen it once before. It was a moonlit night back in their senior year, after prom, when they were both lingering in the pool as everyone else passed out drunk. He’d wiped a leaf from her hair and told her she was beautiful, and she’d looked at him like that so long and hard that he wondered if he’d ever known her inner thoughts at all.
“Of course I remembered,” she answered at last, soft and clarion clear. “I remember all kinds of things about you, Masamune.”

Adventure and Terror
Fandom: Ikemen Sengoku Pairing: Masamune Date x MC (Mai) Written By: @xaichan Requested By: Anon Prompt: May I ask, for Ikesen Masamune and MC, from the drabble challenge, either 7. “Everyone keeps telling me you’re the bad guy.” or 77. “I lost our child.”?
It was a beautiful day out; the sun was shining and not a cloud in sight. So nice, that Masamune had planned a picnic for him and his son. As he finished packing the basket, he peered into the next room,” You ready, Tadamune?” he asked as a young boy looked up with a huge grin and nodded. He looked to be about four years old, he was the spitting image of his father with his brown hair and blue eyes. Looking over at Mai, Masamune noticed her look of deep concern, giving her a wry smile, he approached her and tilted her head up by her chin,” Don’t worry kitten, we’ll be fine. You just focus on your commission and we will be back by dusk,” he reassured her as he leaned in and kissed her. She forced a smile and nodded though the worry didn’t leave her face.
Tadamune shrugged his bag on and ran into the room,” Don’t worry mommy, daddy is super strong!” he exclaimed as he threw himself into her arms hugging her tightly. Seeing his excitement, Mai could not help but smile as she returned his hug,” You got that right, no one can defeat him,” she confirmed as her bright-eyed son looked up at her. Releasing her, he ran over to join his father, Masamune patted him on his head and with the wave of his hand the two were off.
Not even five minutes after reaching the nearby forest questions started pouring from Tadamune,” Where are we going father?” He asked excitedly, chuckling Masamune turned and looked at his son as they walked,” Now, that would be telling,” he teased. Tadamune opened his mouth as if he were going to say something but instead it turned into a pout and he then crossed his arms across his chest sulking. Masamune let out a hearty laugh when he saw his son’s reaction,” My son, sometimes things are better appreciated when they surprise you,” he explained softly. A smile crossed his face as he was thinking of Mai as he told their son this,” It makes it an adventure,” he added.
Tadamune was now looking at his father in awe, a smile crossed his face,” I like adventures,” he told his father beaming. Masamune had a sly smile on his face,” You have yet to experience a real adventure. When you are older, I will take you on one, just the two of us,” he promised. Tadamune smiled at his father,” I can’t wait!” he exclaimed with a slight jump to his step. Masamune chuckled, he did not want to ruin this moment so he decided against telling him how much training he would have to look forward to beforehand.
Looking around, Masamune noticed a shaded area overlooking a nearby river,” This will be a good place,” he said with a smile as he looked at his son. Tadamune stopped and looked around them just as Masamune had taking in all of the scenery,” so pretty! It looks like the view mommy told me about,” he said in awe. Smiling Masamune told him,” Aye, that’s because it is the same spot that I took her to see before. For now, let’s fill our stomachs then I will show you around,” Masamune told Tadamune with a smile. Nodding, Tadamune joined his father on the blanket he had placed on the ground and together they ate lunch.
Once they finished eating, Masamune took his son down to the river and there they played together. A splash war had commenced, it went back and forth between the two, though Masamune held back so that he would not hurt his son. This went on until dusk started to approach, it was then that he looked over at his son and said,” Alright, lad it’s time to head home. It will be dark soon.” He then led his son out of the river and onto the beach, he followed with great reluctance as he still wanted to play.
As soon as the two were dry, Masamune led the way back home keeping a close eye on his son. He could tell how worn out he was, and he was rather nervous with how quickly dusk was approaching. The walk was slower than he would have liked but he didn’t want to rush him, that could possibly alarm his son thinking they were in danger when they were not. It wasn’t until they began to approach the border of the forest that Masamune started to hear rustles in the forest.
Just as they approached the border, bandits jumped out from the cover of the forest from every direction. Wide-eyed Masamune scoured the enemy in search for his son,” Tadamune, hide! Now!” he ordered despite not being able to see his son in his line of sight. Hearing his father’s order, Tadamune made his way towards the forest to hide, though on the way he had tripped and fell. A nearby bandit took notice and grabbed the boy and ran off with him into the depths of the forest, using the chaos as his cover from Masamune.
Many bandits fell to his blade, but it was when the last bandit had fallen with a smile across his face that Masamune noticed that his son was nowhere in sight. Panicked, he rushed into the thickets looking in every direction he could think, Tadamune was not in any of the spots he looked. He searched the forest until night fell. His fists held so tight his knuckles were white, he let out a cry of frustration for all to hear. He had lost their son, their one treasure and he had to somehow break the news to Mai. He could not continue his search alone, he would need assistance of the other warlords for him this was shameful and embarrassing.
With his head lowered in shame, he opened the door to his home and was met with his beautiful wife rushing to his side, right as their eyes met bewilderment reached her eyes. “where is Tadamune?” she first asked in a whisper. Masamune could not find the words to answer her, she drew closer to him and looked Masamune right in the eye,” Where is our son?!” she shrieked despite her voice shaking. Tears streamed down her face as he placed a hand on her shoulder,” I lost our child in the woods, Mai. I swear though, come dawn I will find him and put those bandits to the blade,” he vowed as he embraced her. Her brown eyes went wide in disbelief,” L-Lost him? But you PROMISED! You said you would both come home!” she shrieked hitting his chest and slowly sinking to the floor,” My baby boy, in the forest alone…” she started to sob uncontrollably.
Masamune picked her up and carried her to their bed, all night he held her close to him, running his fingers through her long brown hair in an attempt to calm her at least enough for her to get some sleep. He however, did not sleep that night as he was devising a plan for the rescue of his son. He made a silent vow to himself, never again would he fail his family, never again would he make Mai cry like this. As dawn broke, Masamume readied himself for battle, placing green armor over his black and blue kimono and left for one of his comrade’s manor right at dawn.
Silently, he entered the manor seeing his comrad had failed to sleep as well. He wore a green and red kimono which looked to be a bit dishelved, he had black circles under his brown eyes and his sandy hair was a mess. “Hideyoshi,” Masamune mumbled, causing him to look up. Seeing him in his armor seemed to surprise him, as his eyes widened and then he had a look of suspicion. “Masamune, what brings you here this early in the morning? In full armor no less,” Hideyoshi asked. Masamune suddenly fell to his knees and brought his head to the floor, seeing this Hideyoshi dropped the pipe he had been smoking on his desk, Masamune never bowed to anyone and yet here he was bowing before him now.
“Please, Hideyoshi,” Masamune pleaded,” Help me find my son, on our way home last night I was ambushed by bandits and he was no where to be found. I need your help finding this camp they hide at and then I plan to kill every bandit in that camp,” he continued still bowing on the floor.
It took the shock a while to wear off, then Hideyoshi looked at the man before him,” For the love of god Masamune, get off of the floor. I will gather a search party and see if any of the other warlords are available to help but you don’t need to beg me to help you, you just need ask,” Hideyoshi told him exasperated. Masamune stood and bowed,” Thank you Hideyoshi, I will gather my men and wait at the border of the forest,” he told him with a look of relief.
Looking around the castle town, Hideyoshi had managed to get the help of Ieyasu, a smart mouthed warlord who was good with medical related things as well as being intelligent. He had blonde hair, with green eyes and was adorned in a yellow kimono. The other warlord he managed to get the help of was a silver- haired man with golden eyes who wore a white and blue kimono, his name was Mitsuhide and no one could figure this man out but he excelled in intelligence gathering and thinking outside of the box, his mouth and personality put to the side he was a good asset to have. The three of them gathered their men and met Masamune at the border of the forest.
“Lose something did we?” Mitsuhide teased as he approached the meeting spot with the other warlords and their men, Hideyoshi and Masamune glared hard at Mitsuhide,” Was that necessary?!” Hideyoshi snapped, Mitsuhide simply shrugged his shoulders. Ignoring him, Ieyasu looked at Masamune for a moment,” Bandits aren’t likely to be reasonable with hostages, we won’t have much time before they make a decision on what they plan to do with your son, we should move quickly,” Masamune nodded in agreement,” Aye, but we are going to have to be as quiet as possible. Keep your eyes out for bandits in the trees, our best chance is a surprise attack,” he added on to what Ieyasu had said. Everyone seemed to agree with his plan, so they began to march into the forest depths, each warlord taking his men and going in a different direction, this way nothing was overlooked.
All day the men searched all over the forest for the bandit hideout, it wasn’t until dusk that it was found. Ieyasu had found it and sent three messengers out to let their comrades know. Not long after the messengers were dispatched, Hideyoshi, Mitsuhide and then Masamune arrived where Ieyasu had been waiting. As soon as Masamune arrived, Hideyoshi looked over at him as if allowing him to take charge of this attack. With a smirk crossing his face, Masamune made a silent motion for the men to move in. As they made their way into the camp, they killed every bandit in their path. All the while, Masamune was questioning every single one of them as they were killed. It took some time, but he had managed to find someone with the information he wanted. Taking a chance, he rushed to where the bandit claimed his son was being kept.
Relief filled his eyes the moment he saw his son in a cage, hugging his knees. Small sniffles could be heard from him, “Tadamune,” he whispered as he approached. “Daddy! I knew you’d come for me!” He exclaimed tears streaming from his eyes all of the sudden,” Of course I would come for you,” he reassured him,” stand back now,” he instructed as he struck the cage with his sword. The moment the cage fell apart what looked like the bandit leader jumped down from a ledge above them. Urgently, Masamune pushed Tadamune behind him,” Stay behind me,” he ordered his son. Tadamune nodded and stayed as close to his father as he could manage with his side-stepping sword slashes from the bandit.
Hideyoshi noticed the situation Masamune had been placed in and rushed to his side,” Masamune, I will take your son with us so that you can focus on this fight, I swear to you, he will be unharmed,” Hideyoshi said as he approached. Masamune paused in thought as he kept parrying the bandit’s attacks. Reluctantly he nodded,” Alright but if any harm comes to him at all, it will be you I come for,” Masamune threatened. Grabbing Tadamune’s hand Hideyoshi rolled his eyes,” Yeah, yeah I know. He will be perfectly safe when you regroup with us,” Hideyoshi said as he and Tadamune made their way to the others.
The fight with the bandit leader went on for several minutes, Masamune emerging the victor. Checking that each bandit he passed was dead he rejoined the group and hugged his son tightly. “Thank god you are safe,” he whispered into his son’s ear. Tadamune hugged his father and sobbed into his chest, Masamune comforted him and then helped him onto a horse. As he rode off with the son, the rest of their men followed behind. Once they were back in the castle town and the horses were put up, Masamune walked over to his three comrades,” Thank you for your help, it would have taken longer without it,” he said bowing to the three.
Hideyoshi gave him a wry smile,” Masamune, you don’t have to do everything on your own, if ever you need our help you need just ask. We are all in this together after all, even if it’s not related to the war,” Hideyoshi explained. Masamune looked at Hideyoshi dumbfounded and then looked at the other two who simply nodded in agreement with Hideyoshi and the three walked off one at a time going their own way. Smiling, Masamune went home with Tadamune.
As he opened the door, Mai rushed from the other room to meet him and looked anxiously for Tadamune once the door was closed behind Masamune. As soon as Masamune set their son down, he dashed to his mother hugging her tightly and began to sob. “I was so scared mommy,” he said between sobs. Mai hugged Tadamune close to her, relief flashing across her face,” It’s alright, you’re home now. It’s like I said, no one can stop your daddy,” she told him with a smile though tears were falling from her face.
Tadamune released his mother and looked up at her,” You’re right mommy, daddy and his friends saved me and made the bad guys pay! I knew daddy would come for me!” He exclaimed as he rubbed his tears from his eyes. Masamune joined them and kneeled to his son’s height,” Tadamune I am proud of you, you were very brave. I want you to remember something though, no matter what happens, I will always come and find you,” he promised as he placed his hand on Tadamune’s head. A smile spread across his face, “I will hold you to that daddy,” he said smiling. Masamune then reached down and hugged both his wife and his son. There he made a silent vow never again would he allow something like this to happen to their family, nor would he fail his family ever again.

Hello! How are you guys liking the new IkeSen event? 😄 I was wondering if you could write a little thing about Hideyoshi and Masamume (separately) winning the bet, and doing something scary with the MC? C: Thank you in advance! 😘
Heyo! Admin Ying here and honestly I’m dying to know the bonus stories. I have this bad feeling I might not make it though because I’m mostly free to play and I don’t spend unless I have a good reason to. ;///; Thanks for sending in this req! I had fun writing it, hehe.
Hideyoshi
The idea of protecting you from anything that may scare you boosted his ego and pride. Of course, knowing that he could be depended on always felt nice since he wanted you to depend on him more. He wanted to be that person for you to rely on when things get tough and to turn to whenever there was a problem.
Though he wasn’t too sure if this scary thing was the best of ideas. Sasuke did great in explaining it, and though he purposely won the competition so that no one else could have your time, he wasn’t too sure if he wanted to scare you to the point that you were forced to fall in love with him. He could already feel the romantic interest both of you share with each other in the air every time he’s even slightly intimate with you, but did he really want you to confess during such a situation? Not really - he wanted to confess to you in a better one than in one where you’re scared to death. But there was no way he’d pass the opportunity to spend time with you, even if it meant allowing the other warlords to join in on the “scary forest maze” fun.
The first few scary things they’ve run into, such as ghost props and floating lanterns, you ended up walking closer to him than you normally would. He could see you visibly trembling, but you had put on your brave face, pretending that things were fine. It isn’t until he notices you’re slowing down out of fear that he gently takes your hand in his, lacing his fingers with yours and pulling you closer. Hideyoshi will gently pat your head with his free hand and offer you to hold onto him as much as you needed as long as it meant that you wouldn’t stray too far away from him.
When you end up getting startled by the appearance of one of the warlords dressed up in battered clothes and what looked like fake blood and injuries, he’s never heard you screech that loud or has he felt you this close to him. You end up holding the front of his  kimono tightly and your face is pressed against his chest. He can feel you trembling still as he wraps his arms around you and gently pats your back to calm you down. But it’s strange, all he could think about is making you feel better, comforting you and stopping those tears from running down your cheeks.
Hideyoshi has a general idea of where to go in the forest to get away from the maze, after all, Sasuke briefed him on the general layout of it so he knew where to go for the perfect scare locations. But right now, all he wanted was to make sure you were okay. After deviating from the path, he’ll make sure to carefully whisper reassurance that you’ll be fine. As long as he’s by your side, you’ll be okay.
He does enjoy the intimacy of the situation though, as much as he hates to admit it since you’re so scared. But knowing that you rely on him and trust him to keep you safe makes him feel nice. He won’t do anything that you don’t want him to, but if you need to sit down to calm down, he’ll gladly let you sit in his lap as he gently holds you close, all the while stroking your hair soothingly and murmuring reassurances into your ear.
Should you fall asleep while being comforted by Hideyoshi, he may not notice right away. But once he does, he’ll lift you into his arms as carefully as possible and take the safest and quietest way back home so that you can sleep in a more comfortable location. Though if Hideyoshi had any say in it, he’d be more than happy to let you sleep away in his arms.
Masamune
Masamune wasn’t really planning on going out into the forest to scare you, he figured he could probably set it up in his own estate after gathering ideas from Sasuke.
While you are curious about why Masamune was out for so long and so late at night, he doesn’t really tell you anything except for the small hint that he has a surprise for you. When you asked if it was something you’d like, he just answers with a smirk and honestly it leaves you baffled. But you trust Masamune, he wouldn’t do anything to hurt you after all.
You can immediately tell what the ‘surprise’ is though when you catch a glimpse of a few of his vassals wearing what looked like zombie costumes. You assumed they were zombies at least, judging by the way they put flour on their cheeks and wore tattered clothes with visible red dye smeared on the hems to imitate blood. You can remember laughing at the time you saw it, but you definitely weren’t laughing now.
They had put in a lot of effort into practicing their facial expressions and scaring you. You couldn’t count the amount of times someone creepily whispered your name against your earlobe or you felt something brush against your arm. Each time you jolted, panicked, and nearly tripped over your own kimono as you struggled to find your way to Masamune’s room.
It isn’t until you reach his door and you’re about to slide it open when it slides open himself and Masamune scares the life out of you. You nearly collapse then and there, but he manages to catch you at that very moment, all the while chuckling over how scared you were.
His laughter comes to a sudden stop though when he sees the tears gathering at your eyes. You had did your best to stay strong while being scared to death the entire way to his room, you weren’t expecting him to slide the door open like that and scaring you even more though. He ends up scooping you into his arms, and removes the mask that he had donned to scare you.
He holds you close and gently whispers his apologies all the while trying to soothe you. Being in his arm comforts you, it reminds you that you’re safe and that you’re going to be okay - that nothing will be able to hurt you as long as you’re there by his side. He feels absolutely horrible that the fun scary activity he had in store ended up bringing you to tears.
Masamune ends up spending most of the night reassuring you that things will be okay, that it was just a prank, albeit a bad one. He’ll gently kiss your tears away while holding you close to him, hoping that his presence at least helps you calm down a little. In the end, the steady beat of his heart lulls you into a gentle slumber. The moment you fall asleep, Masamune lets out a heavy sigh for making you cry, and he swears that he’ll treat you even better tomorrow with a hearty breakfast filled with your favorites and lots of hugs and kisses from him.
