Parker let out a little groan and slumped into the couch, closing her eyes. She'd hoped she could just not be noticed. But, there was literally a better chance of pigs flying in this family than that.

She popped an eye open to look at Leo. ❝Mmmn, I'm ok. Just a killer migraine.❞ Though, the source of said migraine was up for debate.

But she was determined to make things work out in the world. She didn't know where she was going to go or where she'd end up. She still wanted to try though. The door to the halliwell mansion is slammed shut ( and deadbolted ) behind her, as though that would stop anything likely to be chasing her ( a naive thought. ). She's out of breath, taking the stairs to the attic three-a-time, shouting for her aunt as she goes. " Piper!? " she yells, in between breaths. " Aunt Piper!? We have a problem! "

Damon looked back over his shoulder at Leo, nodded in acknowledgement of the other Darklighter's words, and followed him into the other room.

"You were saying?" Damon said dryly, sweeping his gaze around the place. Where the room they'd first entered had been boringly ordinary, this one looked more like it belonged to either a demon or a magical witch, possible warlock. Now that Damon thought about it, he vaguely remembered rumors of when the police had searched Cole Turner's apartment and found a secret area full of "occult" items, sometime when Belthazor had been the Source.

"Though you'd think they would try and hide it better, a house this large and all."

Damon hesitated, watching Leo scanning the room, waiting for any signs of activity before he too black-orbed into the room and followed the other Darklighter. Hearing, magical senses scanning for the nearby presence of anyone else, Damon began searching the opposite side of the room for books, athames, anything that might indicate the place had a magical inhabitant.

Finding nothing on his side of the room, he signaled to Leo and slipped out into the hallway, trying to get a better sense of the place.

Leo lazily flipped through the pages on a book left out on the desk, traced his fingers over the shelve of a book case as he eyed the titles. By the time Damon joined him, he was just about to flip the cushions and pillows off the bed and check the crack behind the headboard. It all came to nothing. A dead end.

He was about to help cover the rest of the room when Damon signalled to him. Following only a few steps behind, he said, “I don’t think there’s anything here.”

That didn’t stop him slipping into the next room, though. What was a few minutes to be sure anyway?

For some reason, it almost felt like Piper was going to be the hardest to approach. Everyone had grieved her but she'd seen Piper fall completely apart at the seams and been absolutely unable to do anything about it. Prue felt guilty. For that. For leaving. For not just saying screw the Elders and letting her sister's know she was still around. Still watching. Looking over them. Truth was, she hadn't been... not in the way she'd have liked.

She'd had charges. Innocents to protect. Something familiar to channel all her energy and emotions into. It had worked. Helped for a while. However, now, Prue had gotten it into her head that attempting to insert herself back into her families life would be a good idea. Why had she thought that again? She was standing out in the street, staring up at the manor with a look of unhappiness on her face. Prue had tried but she couldn't quite make her feet move. They weren't working so, for a few more moments, she just stood out there... looking around, feeling rooted to the spot.

"Hi, Mom. I hope Dad is listening too, but... I just... I just want to tell you that I love you okay? Tell Wy too. And Mel. And... everyone, okay? I love you all. I lo..." Phonecall suddenly ends, cutting him off mid-sentence.

Darklighter!Leo: "Groovy. What is it?"

Damon: "Him." *points behind him to the demon-of-the-week with his hand on Damon's shoulder*
