It's a pun that came to me like 5 years ago and that I found so good that I instantly took the url. I started using it maybe 6 months after that and I'm never going back.

Nah. I'm putting it all in the same pot, making a content stew babeyyy.

I think we're reaching 10 years in like, less than 6 months.

No, because I've never used and will never use the queue.

No clue. I think one of my twitter friends had one and I decided to check it out ? I quickly let my Twitter wither as I moved here tho.

I like robots. I like the absurdity of this robot trying to "eat" an admittedly pretty good-looking hamburger. At this point I couldn't see myself switching to smth else now after years.

7. why did you choose your header?

Because it's one of the most satisfying pictures I've ever seen. I love it when stuff is neatly aligned and perfectly regular. I definitely could've done it myself so I felt like it matched my vibe.

Technically it's the "Kettle that boils your water by lowering the pressure" one — I think it's near 13k. But I'm 50% sure my screenshot tags on that one 100k notes post are the reason people have started using "tags passing peer-review" to talk about adding someone's tags to the main body of a post.

Technically around 150, but most of them have long left tumblr. I actively talk/interact to like.. maybe 10-20 people on here I'd say? And on top of that there's maybe that number again that I don't actively talk to but feel like I could hit up and start chatting with again.

A smidge over 1000. Most of them are inactive and/or bots, even if I block the really obvious ones.

idk anything about the grace period for deltarune u can just keep this ask in the attic until that’s over.. anyway.. i really liked chap 2 i played it in one sitting 😭 the rpg combat is enjoyable enough and just the right amount more complex than the undertale combat is, although not very difficult. very touching power of friendship moments minus that fucking bird man. some of the dialogue felt quite fandom tropey and surface-level, and queen’s lines (love her tho) were hit or miss for me. i think the biggest frustration i have with it is all the useless random encounter characters clogging up your world 😞😞 there’s only so many wacky one-liners toby can give them and i am not invested enough to care! also some of those designs are uglie!! there are better ways to make a world feel real and lived in. same thing happened with undertale.

BUT it was a great time! i liked the juxtaposition between the ultimately harmless antics and charming banter with the gang and queen, and the more sinister plot going on in the background. most obviously in the ending. toriel and susie making a pie while kris RIPS OUT THEIR SOUL….spoiler warning.. did u see the theory that the soul aka red heart is you the player operating kris the vessel? i’m definitely not a theorist but i like seeing all the loose plot ends i’m having a good time. i love noelleeeeee 💞💞💞💞and i liked susie a lot more this chapter. when ralsei taught her a healing spell 😖😖 i still don’t really care about ralsei though 😓

i also played it in one sitting it was so GOOD. i don't care that it was 2 am here when it was released i wasss ecstatic and the game was so fucking GOOD tonby the fox delivered!! it was so so worth the wait! the music was so much better than in chapter 1 imo, like... my castle town? the cyber fields theme? the queen's fight? spamton g spamton??? rouxls' "fight"?? BANGERS. i only see bangers. the new gameplay mechanics were also very fun!! i for one kinda struggled with the mice puzzles but not nearly as much as that one section with the traffic jams where you have to go down and back up or whatever. what the hell was that? i'm surprised i actually got past it. i loved the parts in cyber field though where you had to move on beat with the music that was sooo fun!! more of that! i prefer the fighting system in undertale ngl but it's mostly bc the undertale bosses are... just so good. the one boss who rivalises for now to me is queen, although rouxls is also very fun.

as for the story itself... i liked it :) susie & noelle are fucking ADORABLE. i think they deserve to be happy forever like not even together just individually as characters they're the fucking best. susie's grown so much that's my girl... wough... ralsei i do like but... i don't trust him :D i don't think he's evil but he knows too much and tells us too little until he can't keep it for himself and i don't like that. like bro you're gonna get us in trouble stop. but ALSO some ppl speculate that himself is being misled and that the fountains wouldn't bring the roaring, which is an interesting theory. (also i miss lancer being more relevant)

uhh kris is... well... kris... :)... yeah i did hear about that theory i'm in a discord server where ppl have been going on and on about theories since the game dropped LMAOO we're all insane. um. my personal theory is that there's another knight, or that kris is at least also influenced by an "evil force" or whatever, and we're the good force influencing them bc otherwise they're just a normal albeit mischievous kid. and the stretch part is that uhhh there's two knight pieces on a chessboard, ik this isn't about chess at all but king of spades does tell you at the end of chapter 2 that you'll meet a more powerful foe = the queen, coincidentally in chess the queen is stronger than the king. hmmmmmmmmmmm. lmao i don't think my parallel here is right but it's fun to think about anyway

brOTP LITERALLY ATHENA AND SIMON BROTP LIVES IN MY BRAIN AT ALL TIMES LIKE theres so much healing that they both have to do from the 7/8 years since the incident and focusing on literally just that one incident and how to fix it (or in his case how to just like. live with it in a lot of ways) and they do some of it together but some of it they very much do NOT do together and i think like the setting boundaries that they do is just. its good. also i love the idea that he lived with her for a while after he was released like. just from a general perspective i love them sort of being a patchwork family but also just imagine being 18 and living on your own then suddenly you invite your 33 year old uncle to live with you who’s been in prison for the past 8 years. he doesnt rlly know how the world works from a cultural perspective and you dont know what its like from a “how do i use a can opener” perspective. together you’re a functioning adult.

random headcanon him and aura were REALLY close pre UR-1 incident. like i think they had a lot of issues but i think its just because they probably had to raise themselves in a lot of ways and pretty much really only looked out for each other for awhile. i like to think that he visited the space center a lot bc he was visiting her and thats how he got to meet metis and he was like huh maybe i could use this physcological stuff in court hmm and like thats how he became her student but i ALSO think that aura is just. SO mad at him for what he did about UR-1 and how he handled it because now SHE has to be alone and its not fair to him and she knows its not but she can’t help herself. Not just that but Simon hates seeing her lose it a little every time she visits him (which is often, he doesn’t get many visitors and even if he did he’d ALWAYS take her visits bc he misses her even if they don’t see eye to eye they’re all they’ve GOT) and just. seeing her become more cold and somehow thinking maybe its his fault and her not knowing if she does think its his in some ways but them still loving each other even if they have funny ways of showing it just UGH!!!

I saw my work husband today! 😩😍😍

It was when I was going down to get stock. So I was listening to music out loud and I thought to myself that I should change the song. Just a few seconds after I changed the song, I saw him!

“No Tears Left to Cry” by Ariana Grande was playing when we passed by each other. He was wearing his regular clothes with his uniform in hand so I assume he was just arriving at work.

WE MADE EYE CONTACT THOUGH!!! I was trying my best not to act awkward or have a mean mugging face while making eye contact because I know how I get when I see hot ppl.

Lemme just SAY, he is SOOO fine. Like I’m still not used to it yet. I think he was wearing grey sweatpants and had I got to see him for longer, ya girls thoughts would’ve been wild!

Lord forgive me 😩 but damn, I can’t get over how fine he is. Anyways, after we passed each other I was sooo happy I literally jumped up in the air for joy.

I couldn’t believe I was seeing him this early into my shift, mind you it was only an hour in. Anddd let’s not forget the eye contact. IK that’s not a big deal to y’all probably, but it is for ME.

So a little while later I saw him AGAIN while on cash. I glimpsed that turquoise blue uniform and instantly I knew it was him without even looking up. To be fair, I couldn’t.

I was trying sooo hard not to act nervous while I waited for him to cash out his stuff. He was taking a while to get his things, so I didn’t know whether I should leave the cash or wait for him to come.

I decided to leave and keep myself preoccupied with something in the meantime while I waited for him to come and cash out his things. Of course, just a few moments after I leave he comes over though.

I turned my head to look back just in time to see him standing at the cash waiting for me, so I walked over. He said something to me and I think from shock of him speaking to me I was unable to hear him.

So I go, “hmm?” Instead of using real words, mostly out of nervousness and, again, from shock. He repeated himself and I was able to make out that he was asking me, “this side?”

He meant this side as in, was he at the right cash, in which I responded, “yep.” Once I arrived at the cash, full nerves kicked in and I didn’t know what to do with myself.

Obviously there was nothing else to do but my job, but I couldn’t help but feel so anxious. I totaled up his items and they came up to $11.48. That I remember, clear as day oddly.

He had got a veggie burger with fries and a tea. So healthy 😩 I was lowkey judging him but like I definitely did not let it show on my face in this time of concentration.

I also remember me screwing up verbally telling him his total by saying $11.45 instead of $11.48. That isn’t the correct rounding, obvs. I hope he didn’t peep my tiny mistake though, I was already anxious enough as it is.

He proceeded to tell me he would use MasterCard to pay for his order and went ahead and tapped his card I’d entered it in the debit machine.

After he tapped, I asked if he’d like a receipt and then he said no. So then he told me to have a good day and I said very inaudibly “you too.” 😩

YOU TOO?? Seriously britney?

You couldn’t have done ANY better than that? Guys, this is me, the Britney who is the most friendly and social cashier, has 15/10 customer service skills, remains professional even when provoked/irritated/sleepy.

Has superb problem solving skills in times of difficulty and can arise to the challenges that her workplace has to offer! And yet, all I gave him was a “you too?”

Oh my gosh, I was so disappointed in myself!!! I know I can do so much better with regular people, but this was no regular person! This is what I meant when I said he’s TOO fine!

My work husband is the only person who gets me all flustered like this. The only other person has been my baby boo crush but many of you new followers don’t even know about him.

He’s a long time crush that I haven’t seen in probably over two years now and probably never will see again, sadly. But if I did see him again, promise, I think he’d be making moves.

And if not him, I would! Because I’m telling you that boy would show interest majority of the time and I’m so mad at myself for not reciprocating in the slightest while he was still here.

Because now he’s gone and I have to deal with never knowing what that could’ve blossomed into. This is why you can’t take moments for granted. So I need to do better with my work husband.

I’m hoping I get a next time with him to make so much more progress because I could’ve talked to him about the raptors game, or his week, ANYTHING. It doesn’t matter, as long as I talk!

Idk I’m good like that. There’s something about customers that makes me so confident where I’m able to talk to them without feeling conscious or insecure or down about myself.

I just feel like a completely different girl at work. Ppl like me. Ppl think I’m beautiful and polite and friendly and helpful and caring and compassionate and so many other things.

They see me as somebody completely different than how I’ve seen myself my whole life, that all the good things about me get displayed all in one place it seems.

And it’s like... why can’t I just direct all of that energy towards my work husband too? Show him that sweet, witty, charming side of me? Flirt a little? Why do I always shut down?

He’s just a person. That’s what I like to say sometimes when I see him. But he’s such an attractive person. It’s so hard for me to separate him from others and just treat him the same.

I always want to go above and beyond. But it never works! I’m gonna try harder, but not too hard to where it’s forced and he can tell that I’m nervous to talk to him.

He doesn’t need to know I’m nervous to talk to him. I just want to flirt a little. Build some kind of rapport. But idk, something about today seemed different to me though.

The fact that he even talked to me??? I was like “uhhh are you finally making a move? Or just being friendly?! Make it more clear!” Because he was never responsive to me before ever.

Maybe I’m REACHING but what if he’s nervous to talk to me too? And he just built up the confidence to talk to me today? LOL I honestly want this to be true so bad but I don’t think it is.

A girl can dream though. But when I saw him that first time today even, I was hella shook he even made eye contact. Like God, thank youuu 😍 that made my whole entire day.

Regardless of what was happening during my shift, I was so happy. While he was sitting down to eat his food, I could see where he was sitting from where my cash was.

It was nice because he could see me if I walked by and I could see him, since he was facing my direction. It even looked like one of the times that he was looking at me when I looked over.

That’s not to get my hopes up, but he was definitely looking in my direction. That whole time I was in such a good mood because he was there.

And then when he was going to leave, he passed by behind me and I didn’t look but as he was leaving, I could already feel myself starting to miss him. I wanted him to stay longer so bad.

But my whole shift, my mind kept wandering to him and thinking, “when is he coming back?” “Will he even come back?” “Am I gonna get to see him again?”

I went downstairs a total of four times just in hopes that I would see him again. Obviously I was also doing work, but two out of those 4 trips were me volunteering to go down.

I didn’t end up seeing him for the rest of the night, but just knowing that I could possibly run into him at any second, I was super anxious/happy at the same time.

Definitely kept me on edge, in a good way. Like I was playing music the entire shift after I saw him just so I could “impress” him with my diverse taste.

Idk though, today was great. He obviously made my entire shift. Like I was actually super tired today, aside from him being there. If it weren’t for him, I’d have been dragging my foot this shift.

I really loved the way things panned out overall. Like i felt a shift in vibes on his end, for the better. But maybe that’s me just hoping for the best or reading in on his actions too much.

I have a hard time reading him though. He’s super mysterious. Like his expressions aren’t very telling of what’s going on in his head. Even the way he looked at me today, I was like “???”

As for the last time I saw him, when I was playing music, I couldn’t tell what he was thinking of me. He was so expressionless/unresponsive.

That’s probably why I am surprised he even talked to me today!

I felt like a change, and I came up w/ my current one while thinking of how much I love stories where death is personified (specifically one of my favorite books, Keturah and Lord Death, and the Grimm tale it’s almost definitely based on, Godfather Death) and changed it on a whim. Also perhaps tmi but I get tired of certain (at this point habitual) edgy dark thoughts and this url pokes fun at them, which I really need to do more. Just like for mental health reasons I need to lighten up, and the imagery this url evokes helps me do that w/o fail every time. Kind of ridic and very poorly explained, ik, but short story further condensed, I am the maiden... the bridegroom, married to amazement (like the poem <3)

Came to tumblr to stare at art, will be here until the site capsizes or art dies (whichever comes first). Everything else I’ve found + enjoyed here has been an unexpected bonus <3

Looks ever so vaguely (key word vaguely!!!) like me and style wise it’s exactly me. Also just a fan of Ana Clerici art lately 💜💚💙

why did you choose your header?

It’s a Jane Eyre cover (by Darya Shnykina) that I fell in insta-love with because of the composition and little details! And the fact that in it you can SEEEEE Jane’s drawings!!! I love that she draws and I feel it’s semi rare for artists to depict Jane’s own art !! Also love the blue because it happened to compliment my preexisting blog color and pfp AND reminds me of That Blue Dress she wears towards the end in That Scene (being vague on purpose) tho idk if that was the artist’s intention! :0

Definitely this one 😐 I feel bad that it’s so popular because that means a lot of ppl relate... not remotely a surprise but it’s still painful to see!!!!!!!!! I often say I’d wish violence on people, but not school related stress, because the latter has plagued me most of my life and it stings so bad for so many reasons.... I just ashdhsbbdb I see that post show up in my notes again and my heart breaks a little more :( I’ll never delete it tho, I’m glad ppl can like. complain and freak out in the tags of it even if I don’t love to see it, because I understand the stress and loneliness of being a bad student painfully well. I’m glad but sad my thoughtless vent post lets people convey their shame and fear w/o direct judgement from anyone around them <\3

A bit over 1,070 BUT. I do not root through them to block bots and such, it’s too much work and u have to VISIT the damn blog each time (at least on mobile) if you wanna block them and for the love of god I was put on this earth for worthier things (or so I like to think) nor am I strong enough to do that.
