next citizen that tries to citizplain immigrancy to me gets their citizenship revoked and given to me
#for legal purposes this is a joke#eleanor.txt#but honestly people will say ‘i’ll never speak over minority groups but i will speak up <3’ then TELL ME HOW IMMIGRANTS ARE#what????#i have never had such a part of my minority identity explained to me like i have my immigrancy#i love opening up conversations abt my immigrant experience !!! i do !!!!!!#very often i’m the ONLY immigrant voice in the room!!! so not only am i used to it but i usually have the answer you seek!!!!!!!#(obv i dont speak for every immigrant just myself but i CAN answer questions abt MY experience)#but as soon as ppl start explaining how to be an immigrant to me or how immigrants r treated or what kind of oppression immigrants face#im sorry but i KNOW. i’m an immigrant!!! unless u are an immigrant telling me YOUR immigrant experience (which i always want to hear btw#) i just DONT care. i shut down#i dont need it explained to me. especially by someone who isnt an immigrant#this post will probably disappear soon but i NEEDED to get this off my chest#but if u ever want to ask any questions!! abt my immigrant experience!!!! abt stuff u dont know!!!!!! i’d love to answer them#spreading information abt immigrants and the stuff we face is IMPORTANT!!! esp when so many of us cannot speak out#(edit: citizens in this case means by birth citizens#ik people can naturalize citizenship and still b immigrants#but for the purposes of this post. by birth citizens r who i mean#plus no immigrant citizen has ever tried to speak down to me abt immigrant issues)
