Tomorrow is Wednesday and hopefully at work no one’s gonna be around, therefore no tasks will be required of me (…except there is a pretty big component of the company based in Europe and Canada) because I just want to putter around and not do much other than cook some components of the thanksgiving food ahead of time

Trivia is also tomorrow and apparently it’s a really busy time because people bring their family members from out of town and whatever, and if it’s like last week, which was also super busy, it runs the risk of being waaaayyyyyy too overstimulating AGAIN … but since last week was hard, the hosts might do an easy trivia this week and I like it when we place (but also the food kinda sucks at the restaurant that has trivia, contrary to all of the reviews, and do we really want mediocre food this week)… idk. I guess I’ll see how I feel when 5 PM rolls around tomorrow

I was thinking about taking tomorrow off and dang maybe I should’ve but it’s too late now, I guess!!!

#I can essentially par-roast the potatoes and the whole green bean thing can be done ahead of time and warmed up tomorrow #iirc the cake was SUPER easy to make and I remember thinking it was good that it hadn’t lodged itself in my brain #because the ingredients are a little spendy (because it’s a butter mochi cake with candied pecans and mochiko and pecans are a lil spensive)#nothing is hard it just takes a little coordination and it would be easier to do that coordination if I didn’t also have ‘’’work to do’’’#the friend who’s hosting has the real tough coordination of roasting the chicken (but I mean yannow even that isn’t so bad)#(not that I’ve roasted a chicken before. but I’m not intimidated by it like internet people are??)#this also makes me want to quilt like… large pot holders #because I’ve got the insulated fabric! I’ve got scraps! I could do it sort of by improv!#but self buddy my friend that’s not HAPPENING by tomorrow #just make your stuff and do a smidgen of work #show up at 9 like oh ho! look at me a responsible worker!#and proceed to goof off and trim green beans and caramelize onions and candy pecans and roast potatoes all day
