I may have mentioned this before.....but I really do have the most amazing customers. These welcome packs are all done and ready for the next batch of orders going out. We are all back on track now, with any new orders being placed will be the normal lead time of about 4 weeks......in fact some items will even go out a bit sooner as I’ve managed to streamline part of the process! Posted @withregram • @thevillagegreenflowershop These are strange times. As a business owner I have been quiet not knowing what to post here. I’ve spent the week trying to figure out what to do. I felt frozen. I know I’m not alone. We all have been wrestling with fears of all sorts this week. This morning I realized I was having anxiety every time I used the washroom and thought of my dwindling toilet paper supply. It wasn’t really the fear of running out of toilet paper because I know they are manufacturing more and shelves will be restocked. It was a symbol of the fears of running out of money, what happens if I have to close my shop, on top of the fears of anyone I know getting sick. Today I jokingly shared this with a customer who decided that since she is working from home she can spend her gas money on things like flowers. ❤️When she came into the shop to pick up her arrangement she handed me a pack of toilet paper (and it’s even the kind I like - doesn’t everyone have a tp preference 🤷‍♀️😅). I cried. I’m crying still. From now on my bathroom breaks are going to remind me that we live in an abundant universe and we are all in this together. We are all going to be ok. Thank you to everyone buying my flowers this week. I assure you that safety measures are in place with all deliveries. Recipients are being phoned and our delivery driver will knock and drop the package off on the doorstep for you to safely pickup with no contact required. We are washing our hands constantly and advise you to wash your hands after handling the flowers and packaging. So as long as I am allowed stay open I will. This is a great time to send or buy yourself flowers. I have a few stems in a vase at home and they do give me peace when I look at them. They have a calming essence and are a great way to reach out when you can’t in person.
