The longer Major Grom runs and the more fantastical elements build up in the shared comics universe the funnier it is that Igor reacts to every reveal of a new kind of amazing supernatural lore with absolutely zero sense of wonder or curiosity beyond the bare minimum he needs to solve this case. He became a god for a minute but he's normal now. He got illegally experimented on by the guy whose illegal experiments give you superpowers but all he got out of it was PTSD. Various pre-Christian pantheons and also the anti-Christ are real but that's none of his business. His wife is a witch and that's fine. Some guy psychically controlled him for a minute there but he's okay now. His mortal enemies keep coming back from death and he has absolutely zero interest in learning how they did that. He found out a bunch of supernatural beings were eating the elderly and his main takeaway was that the state should do more to care for its most vulnerable citizens. One time he fought a bunch of werewolves and that experience didn't leave much of a lasting impression on him. The world got destroyed and reformed anew but frankly it has not affected his day-to-day much so he's not really interested in hearing anything more about that. His main complaint about the horrific world he's living in is that kids these days spend too much time on their fancy phones. Hey can everyone please wrap up this mass hypnosis/death cult sacrifice soonish, this demonstration of terrifying superpowers is really throwing off his dog walking schedule. All magical creatures in St. Petersburg have made it their mission to annoy this one cop and he is so over it.
