I’m a big fan of Hazbin Hotel and I loved this fic! Alastor’s characterization is outstanding if you like him evil and cunning like I do, and his relationship with Husk is explored impeccably. On that note, ALL of the characterizations are amazing and feel very true to the current canon, and I feel like I got to know the characters in ways the main show didn’t have the time to expand on.

⚠️ Quick warning, it’s a pretty intense and deals with subjects of abuse, so mind the tags if you want to read it!

It’s short and well written, so if you have the time and think you can stomach it, I’d highly recommend it.

horror being very specific with table manners and he berates people (dust and killer) for eating like fucking pigs

i think it'd be morbidly funny that because there was no food in horrortale but the cutlery and stuff was all there that maybe he would pretend to eat with no food on the plate. it was in a satirical way that he would joke maybe around horror paps or alone where he would pretend to eat and have really good table manners but then the satire joke became REAL and now horror is incredibly specific about how to eat food

you MUST hold the fork in the left and knife in right says horror. no killer you can't duel wield the fucking knives this is a table not a slaughterhouse. dust pick up your elbows off the table. actually how about you get your entire upper body off the table tf why are you SLEEPING ON THE FOOD??? killer's sitting fetal position in the chair because of course he wouldn't sit normally like the idiot he is. dust is forced to put his hood down and reveal his face no more mysterious shadow style because it puts horror at ease. they cannot have a single peaceful meal because once they get past the table manners phase it then becomes a completion to see who can eat the least (because they suck at everything including eating)

Day 4, I'm late as shit. Should fix that sooner or things will get even worse later. ANYWAYS! I know it's super worn out idea, but honestly? I love how it ended up being nicely creepy!.. even if it's messy sometimes somewhere (I'm talking about you, left arm).. Love your own art if you don't. And be proud of yourself if you already respect your artwork!

Here is the book I said I would post, my first attempt at a dos a dos binding. Considering I was mostly winging this, I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out. One side is lined notebook paper and the other is sketchbook paper.

I also got a hot foiling pen for Christmas and thought I'd see how it works on bookcloth for this bind and it worked pretty well, just have to see how it holds up over time.

it is both deeply meaningful and deeply mortifying to me that my tumblr blog acts as a sort of record of my life from when i was a teenager to now, because i was never good at keeping journals but i can at any time take a trip down memory lane to see exactly what i was thinking about in my day to day. also at any moment i can be horrifically jumpscared by art from when i was 15 on the 'more like this' sidebar.

Knowing SAD would hit especially hard this Autumn/Winter, I bought some flower bulbs to plant at home back in October. I knew that, even at my lowest, seeing the tiny sprouts emerging from the soil would cheer me up. Or at least that's what I hoped.

It worked.

Seeing the little green leaves peaking out of the ground, nothing but potential at that time, reminded me that what looks like nothing at one moment, will be beautiful one day.

Most of the bulbs I bought are still growing and won't bloom until late Spring/early Summer, but today, on the first day of Spring (for me), this is what I woke up to:

Only two of those flowers were fully open yesterday, and there's still a couple of buds that will bloom this week. Then, later on, the flowers will fall and the leaves will dry and the bulb will remain buried, dormant, until its moment comes again.

Life moves in a constant cycle. Things get better and then they get worse and, eventually, they get better again, and on and on. And throughout, there's beauty to be found everywhere, all the time.

I literally have no idea how to properly introduce myself to this website so here’s so Jazmin hotel doodles and a drawing I did recently of my OC as sacrifice! I’ve stalked this site from a distant for years (aka through Pinterest) but never had the opportunity to make an account until now. I’m a multi-fandom artist who likes to role-play and draw my silly little characters smooching other silly little canon characters (I know, cringe💀). My art-style and fixations might fluctuate a lot, and I may or may not disappear off of the face of the wart for a while only to re-appear like 5 months later with 50 different pieces and posts, but I’ll try my best to be consistent! I don’t expect to get a big following, but it would be nice to find some friends who share similar interests to me!
