Bran Castle (Castelul Bran) is known worldwide to be the “Real Dracula’s Castle” and it is located in Romania where Vlad III The Impaler, voivode (military leader) of Wallachia, lived. Vlad III, during the war against Ottoman’s Empire,  committed a long list of atrocities and for this reason he is referred as inspiration for the character  of “Dracula”. Despite in the past Barn Castle has been reported as probable prison where Vlad III was locked down, due to lack of records most historians nowadays believe that Vlad never visited this exquisite building.
