Important: These were all from the debunk thread. OP's original handle can no longer be searched on IG. I'm not sure who contacted them back then as well. With a grain of salt, as always.

ON LARRIES SAYING THE MAR 2017 PHOTOS ALIGNED WITH H'S STAY IN JAMAICA (as stated in the circulating Jamaica Photo Timeline); AND THAT THE PHOTO WAS RELEASED IN OCT 2017.

TL;DR: Apparently, the OP claimed that the photo was taken on 1 Mar and posted on 5 Mar, as opposed to what larries knew (Oct 2017).

RESPONSES:

1.) Extra take about the anti's claim ("this girl confessed to seeing Louis and el making out"):

If we're looking into the actual words used in the convo with OP, the question was to confirm a couple of things. 1.) Did she actually see L and E? 2.) Making out? 3.) Walking? ETCETERA?

And looking into OP's answer, it was quite vague. She basically just said that she DID. But what was she confirming though? Was it that she did see them together? While they were walking around? Did she actually saw them make out? Or was it just assumed? (I'm not saying they weren't; they probably did tbh, knowing people would see and they needed them to - for that stunt).

2.) @twopoppies' post on Aug 2021 clearly stating that these were just rumors (THEORY) and that it was openly discussed that H was probably not there. | x

3.) And based on the timeline I've consolidated, it is possible that H was not there during L and E's getaway stunt in Jamaica. I fail to see where the fuck the alleged cronyism is, because that would simply mean Mia Kumari is a social zero, a nobody in the UK's spirits industry, taking advantage of her friendship with Ashley Hearn in order to get more attention for her sole benefit. That is a lie and that is simply wrong: if anything, it is Sassenach Spirits that needed to prominently feature someone like Mia Kumari, in order to align itself to the values she is so actively promoting (all values C is sensitive to, hmmm). We are miles away, here, from the Cutty Sark wannabe (in)famous Labour Day boat party in Marina del Rey, featuring the BBC/Blue Bikini Chick, back in September 2023 (https://www.tumblr.com/sgiandubh/727347023165145088/its-all-fake-anyway), when all the fandom trolls were on fire. Clever brands constantly redefine themselves, looking for the right trends and the right crowds to promote their products to. This is a clear sign that finally adults are in the room, now, at SS's Marketing and Sales respective departments. So damn glad to see this welcome shift!

So what is going on with Sam and Graham? What is the discord about? I’ve seen bits and pieces of information but having a hard time putting it all together. And how is Steven Cree involved? Thanks new tumblr member!

Of course I can only guess what has gone on behind closed doors, and that's what i already did about a year ago, when Graham started to launch his booze.

All when Graham launched his booze and at the same time the Clanlands book NZ version would be released, and book events would take place in Edinburgh and London.

While before Sam always liked Graham's posts and often there would be some banter, I noticed how he stopped doing so and not tagged Graham in his posts about the Clanlands book posts. Which led to some more discussion here and here (please read those posts, as I don't see any reason to rehash it all)

Also noticeable was that they didn't record the audible together (while for both previous books they did and there was always a post or even a video about it), and even signing the books was not done together but a day apart at the same location. Their posts and promo for the book events looks like they both did it on their own way without any cooperation. Graham still liked Sam's post and commented on it, but Sam never did answer or acknowledged Graham's post. He never breathe a word about Grahams booze while I'm sure Graham would have sent him some, as Sam did in the past to Graham who did post about Sam's booze back then.

So, to me it all looks like it has a lot to do with Graham launching his booze, and perhaps (but I can only speculate) about that, the way Graham sort of combined it with the launch of the books. Graham did some events on his own as well in Edinburgh around the book events. They did the events together, but people started noticing that something was off between them. Curiously no mention about any of their booze. (while in the past Sam's whisky was always mentioned)

Another thing I noticed was how Graham started to collaborate with the Bourbon with Friends podcast guys. They are the ones that maintain the IG account and marketing (in a more professional way than Sam's marketing imo). In the past these guys had an interview with Sam about his whisky, and tried hard to get involved in his business, which Sam never agreed to. Since they are involved with Graham's brand, Sam unfollowed them (already before he started to unfollow many accounts recently)

What Cree has to do with it, I don't know. I was a bit surprised myself how he 'dished' Graham last weekend to be honest. Cree has always been Sam's friend, so much I know. And for sure they talk about things. But I can't tell you if it had anything to do with Sam's 'distance' from Graham

Grammy Voting, Record Labels, and Reputation…

An anonymous source with industry connections has provided me with some interesting context on the academy and has given me permission to share. I personally found it very eye-opening—just another layer or two that most of us would not even be aware of when considering things like awards, touring, and the power of record labels. Let’s begin.

* Grammy voting - 40% musical merit, 60% business

What does this mean? My source estimates that about 40% of the judging is based upon the content of the song/album/body of work being presented. Is the song actually good? Is the album sonically cohesive and coherent as a whole? What are the technical aspects that deserve recognition? Etc. This is what we, the audience, generally expect the Academy to be voting on, but that’s not all there is too it. In fact, my source feels that their estimation of 40% may actually be too generous based on what they have seen, because the business aspects of voting carry a lot more weight (again, roughly 60%, which means the business side matters more).

Look at it this way. Grammys are a form of currency in the music industry. Having a Grammy on a track or a record gives that project more exposure and more value, as well as being an excellent marketing ploy. The highest honor, the biggest gold star. So…

* Labels trade votes

According to my source, voting season is a big deal. A big part of the daily schedule for label executives at this time revolves around trading those votes. If you have something to offer, your artist will stand more of a chance. For example:

“Can you and your team vote for [my artist A] for album of the year?”

“Yes, but in exchange, I’d like you and yours to vote for [my artist B] for song of the year.”

Alternatively, and potentially more interestingly…

“Give me your votes this year, and next year, I will have my A-list artist give a collab and a few words of praise to your new up-and-coming artist whose first album you’re making right now.”

We’ve seen how much a little recognition can catapult a new artist into the stratosphere of fame and success. An IG story feature from Taylor is basically like having the light of god shine upon a new artist, and suddenly they’re not an obscure indie artist, but a shiny brand with big associations. Look at Conan Gray, Olivia Rodrigo, Girl in Red, Gracie Abrams. Allison were at varying levels of fame before Taylor acknowledged them, but they are massively famous now with a strong foothold in the industry that goes beyond their respective genres.

Please note, I’m not saying that Taylor is in charge of these things or at fault. I’m talking about the labels specifically, and the inner workings of them. I would imagine a lot of artists just do as they are instructed.

* Artists vs Labels, Labels vs Labels

It’s important to have a menial understanding of the labels themselves. The “Big Three” as it were (UMG, Warner, and Sony), while not technically being a conglomerate, have put in place a system of major cooperation. This is especially true for the big account labels.

What are big account labels? Well, using Sony as an example, they have a lot of “sub labels.” Some of these Sony created themselves, others they have bought. A lot of this is division by style. That said, a lot of the BIG accounts are with Columbia (Beyoncé, Springsteen, Adele, Bowie, and…oh hey, look, 1D, John Mayer, Calvin Harris…). For a lot of big accounts, this is where the vote trading happens. It determines who gets the best tour dates, the best venues, and in some ways, it stops mattering what label you have at this point—because there are so many outside factors.

* Yes, Grammy votes are even negotiated against touring dates and venues

My source has seen Grammy votes be traded in favor of freeing up a couple of nights at the O2, a big venue in London. When we look at these huge stadiums that popular artists often tour in, we have to remember how much has to be juggled in order to secure those dates. Many of those stadiums exist primarily for sporting events, so that is a big portion of any given year taken off of potential tour dates. Ie “You can’t perform there on any of these nights, because there’s a game happening.”

Tour dates and venues are often negotiated, planned, and booked years in advance. Oftentimes, a tour will be booked before the artist has even finished working on their album. Taylor’s next tour is probably booked already, or is being booked right now.

With that in mind, competition is going to be even higher for the nights that remain open. And how many artists are gunning to play at those stadiums? How can it be divided fairly and evenly? Well, it probably can’t, but that’s where the vote trading comes back into play. There is a lot of politics, trading, back-scratching, and back-stabbing going on regarding these things.

Let’s think of it in terms of X-Factor winners. They are all signed to Sony upon their victory—a huge label with plentiful resources and successful artists. But, Sony knows that most of the winners don’t actually find success in the industry, so are they going to invest time, money, and resources into the winners when they already see that track record? Of course not. My source says that in one particular year they have knowledge of, the season’s winner did not have a single person at the label assigned to them. Nobody to advocate, nobody to plan, nobody to book tours.

If a label loses interest or thinks you’re too much of a liability, they can simply let the contract expire (and potentially your career along with it).

In that regard, I can imagine how frustrating it would be to be signed to a label. You go on bright eyed and hopeful, excited that you got signed because you think that this will open up so many new opportunities for you. Then you discover that your label might not book you any shows at the best venues (or any venues at all), and you’re not allowed to perform without their permission. You don’t have much to negotiate with because you’re a new artist, so how can you ever prove yourself?

Alternatively, you’re a veteran artist who’s suddenly being neglected, but you notice the new artist without any released work is being promoted and getting all sorts of opportunities that you used to have. You don’t realize everything at play behind the curtain; all you know is that this thing that was supposed to put you ahead in the industry has now put you very far behind. Which brings me to…

* Why was Reputation snubbed during its Grammy season?

I’d imagine that if you’ve read this far, it’s all coming together for you now. In Miss Americana, we watched Taylor’s heart break over Reputation not being acknowledged by the Academy. She tearfully resolved to just make a better album. But there was so much more at play here.

We now know that during Reputation era, Taylor was in a battle with Scott B. and her label—hoping to secure her freedom. She wanted the rights to her work, and likely the freedom to show the world her true self. My source says that when Big Machine executives failed to campaign for Taylor at all in that Grammy season, they knew something was very, very wrong behind the scenes. A successful artist like Taylor would usually be the bread and butter of their label, and they were not advocating for her.

It was not a lack of talent or merit that lost Reputation a Grammy (or even a nod), but the fact that she had pushed back against the label in hopes of owning her own work and determining the direction it would go. This struggle seemed to start back with 1989 when Taylor decided to go full “pop” against their wishes. I can’t help wondering if Taylor wanting desperately to live her truth openly also contributed to this, which would make it even more heartbreaking.

I know some people in the GP were puzzling over why Midnights won AOTY, and I’m sure many of us around here have been baffled by the lack of critical acclaim for Reputation. I, obviously, am a huge fan of Taylor’s and I love to see her talents recognized. I also just enjoy discovering more about the inner-workings of Hollywood and the music industry. Fresh off the Grammys seemed like a great time to share this “insider’s perspective” that I’ve become privy to.

- July 22 : Bill is spotted attending a UFC match in London.

- July 23: the BKW trailer comes to light, the famous " Cannes trailer". Someone found it and shared it with the world. Don't ask me who I just remember it was everywhere suddenly I even made a post about it too. Now (2024) is no longer up on that page. In that trailer the boy inner voice was different from the one we have now.

- The bobbysill IG acc caught our attention again after days of speculation if it was Bill's or not . Bob uploaded this :

-July 24: this same acc had a mental breakdance after someone went to the BKW producers to complain about someone "leaking" pictures of the movie without an official release of the trailer , calling it a hoax and bla bla ( sadly I don't have screenshots of those negatives comments but the pic of Boy is later erased) Bob starts posting a couple of pics that no one has ever seen before and that are absolutely Bill related:

August 3 The Toronto international film festival announces BKW premiere for sep 9

Sep 2 Bill is seen attending one again a UFC match in Paris .

Sep 9 The day of the premiere in Canada. Bill went to another UFC event , this time in Uppsala.

Coincidence?

Isn't curious that every time something big about BKW was out or about to happen ,Bill , let himself be seen in a UFC match ? It is very well known that he loves those sports, so I don't think these were the first or only times he attended a public UFC event.

Which is more important: the images we saw of him among the public didn't come from fans around him but from the official media present at the event. They were not accidental sightings, he wanted people to see him there. He knows how to hide , he could have gone and refused to be acknowledged in the public but he smiled and played along with the media there.

In 2023 the SAG AFTRA strike paralyzed the industry, no one could really promote upcoming projects without being accused of going against the strike. Maybe this was his way to promote the material, also for what we see now of the BTS shots , he had a really good time filming. I bet he was so excited about this movie he literally couldn't wait to start showing off what he was able to do.

After all HE and his team reached out to the crew asking to audition for the movie. You can look it up. So this movie wasn't just a cash grab for him HE WANTED to be part of it.

But something happened cause that enthusiasm was non-existent this year.

The first critics to the movie at the TIFF were 50/50. Not very impressive.

2024 it is announced that the inner voice now will be done by H. Jon Benjamin. The original voice was replaced just months before the world premiere.

There is a trailer going around with a voice that pretty much sounds like Bill and if it's really his I can hear he put a lot of effort to give the character an identity that went beyond than just the goofy one the director wanted as the final product.

Maybe anon is in some way right after all ? Maybe Bill agreed on erasing his voice but as an exchange decided to not use his actual voice to promote it.

A tantrum ? Yes absolutely. But also if you think about it maybe he saw it like they didn't take him seriously, his whole effort was not appreciated so along with the production team decided to "stay in character" and not talk about Boy. Others could do it for him.

He by all means could be just a diva who just didn't want to be part of the fuss of this premiere and that's it. Only the crew and him know what really happened. ****

Jess lied about a lot about her relationship with her own family, her old friends with whom she hung out with before she dating Jamie, she lied about her studies at the University of London in marketing or public relations and according to Jess’s fake interview in 2021 that was posted on YouTube she seemed to exaggerate about what she said about her professional experiences, it’s like she made up a life, she had lied about her jobs as a business woman and the co-founder of Ice studio (it’s Renell who works and manages the company and Jess only posts Renell’s work on her IG, there is no work she had managed and created by herself, she lied about her « gothic » style and her hobbies (sports, surfing, snowboarding, hiking and beaches) and she did all this for the purpose of attracting Jamie’s attention (by stalking him for years of course).

It is no longer useful that Jess’s stans continue to defend her indefinitely and unnecessarily, knowing that she is a liar and a manipulator who has used her own family, her friends, her former boyfriends, Jamie and his family and sooner or later the mask will end up falling and Jess will reveal her true face and she will have lost everything (what is called karma).

Jess's entire identity and personality are built on lies. She didn't seem to be interested in half the "hobbies" she has now until she wanted to get with Jamie and then got with him. I'm fairly sure she's consistently lost friends over her entire life because she's a phony. She doesn't know who she is or what she wants. Most people will wise up to this sort of thing and stop dealing with people like her. I also think that a lot of her co-workers only had "fun" with her because they had to and they probably dropped her the moment she was fired from something or left.

Her family obviously got fed up with her at some point, maybe for this same behaviour, maybe worse. She tried to build an entire career around dating Jamie. Not any talents she has. Not for anything she actually does. She literally wanted to somehow be famous and profit from dating him and do nothing else other than lounge in his house all day and get drunk and party. That's it.

We can see from public papers that her "agency" in the UK isn't even an agency because it's not filed as one, though she calls herself a talent manager. She also doesn't have a license for this in California or in New York so she can't possibly have that job in the states. Other than her connection to Jamie the only other thing she has is her "friendship" with Quil and Renell, but even that's questionable because Renell won't admit that Jess owns half of the Ice Studios brand when asked about it, nor will she say that Jess is her manager so who actually knows what her relationship is with Renell other than friend that Renell for some reason gives money to?

None of her friends or "business partners" can say what Jess's occupation is. No one can figure it out just by looking at her IG page (which is BTW supposed to be a business page yet what business is Jess in? Does anyone know by looking? Literally no one knows. Her stans don't even know what she does).

Everything that Jess is, was built on lies and phony relationships, and lying about relationships. She's ultimately a huge loser under all of the manipulation and deception and ugly tattoos. I hate that people like her somehow get so far in life being so phony but that's how the world works, sadly. The only good part about this is that once it becomes official Jamie is done with her she'll fade into obscurity, have to scam her way back to the lifestyle she's accustomed to and hope she doesn't get deported for any of the bullshit she's lying about.

My guess is that she'll never do anywhere near as good as being with someone like Jamie, and she'll bottom out in a boring regular job or go crazy and start an Only Fans.

I pulled the cards on 05/26, Monday evening. 8 pm London time 

In general, this was a chaotic reading, it was so chaotic I literally asked the tarot why this reading is like this. I will talk about this later.

The structure of this reading is a little different from my usual style but I felt this is the way I had to do it. I did a 3x3 tableau with a few additional cards, so I will talk about the rows, the columns, the whole etc, which is not my usual method. 

My question was What are the big changes and new chapters HC mentioned in his IG post? What changes are coming? 

The first card (Justice) comes out immediately, and the next two (The Emperor, 4 of Wands) come out very easily as well. 

Justice obviously can relate to legal matters but on a different level, it shows you are at a point where you deserve to be because of your past actions. This could be a good place but this can be a bad place. With the next 2 cards, I think HC is very determined for the next chapter, being a husband, a father, having a domestic life etc. He worked for this, he wanted to have all of this. As I remember the Emperor and the 4 of W appeared in their latest reading too, so this aspect hasn’t changed. Justice also means contract, law etc, and a marriage is a legal contract basically. This could very well mean a prenup and with the Emperor that this relationship or marriage’s legal “force” is on HC’s side. He is the one who rules this aspect. He is the one who has the last word. 4 of W also means celebration, fame, VIP/celebrity status, and family gatherings, so their shared appearance will be more and more common on the red carpet. I stopped following them closely but as I know NV hasn’t had a red carpet with his family there too, which is interesting, so maybe, that is on the table too, for the Witcher premiere for example. ( EDIT:  I started to type the reading the day before The Witcher premiere and I was right about this.)

The Emperor is a father figure and if this doesn’t represent HC and who he wants to be, this very well could be his father. Some legal, contractual business with him in order to secure a nice home and domestic life (4ofW)

The next row has the 8 of Pentacles, 7 of Pentacles rx and The Wheel rx

This is where the shuffling started to be chaotic, cards flew, and I even damaged one of my cards, I started to feel some resilience. 

The 8 of P is hard work, being busy, financial security etc, and since Justice is above it I think he wants to protect all of those things with the help of the law. Especially since 8 of P is not the risk-taking card. So he wants to secure his finances. He wants to have good money and a really good life but with the 7 of P rx he cannot wait. He is rushing into investments, he wants to have a lot of money fast. And not because he is willing to take risks ( like risks on a stock market) but because he is impatient and not willing to wait. It’s like when you want to eat your favourite fruit so you cannot wait for it to be ripe, you just harvest it half-ripe. And you’ll get sick. And with the Wheel rx this is where everything is starting to turn sour. The start was so great with the first 4 cards, but because of his impatience and anxiety, the Wheel is turning and again, for the worse. ( Just like in my reading where I said he will lose his most important roles) It’s almost like he isn’t willing to start from the bottom, to take every step on the ladder, he wants to start on the top. 

For me, this shows he will make bad investments. Maybe the house is too much but I more likely feel this has something to do with movie projects. Maybe they will properly start a company together, buying rights of stuff to adapt etc, and they will spend too much too soon with no success in the end. Especially because 8 of P also means learning new skills, new career paths or working towards something better but 7 of P rx undermines this. He thinks he has the formula for how to make movies, be a producer, maybe even a writer who adapts, but all of those creative things don’t work like that. And I think this will cause a lot of anxiety, that things won’t work in the way he expected and imagined.

The third row was the most chaotic to pull and I think this is the most distant future. This is the chain of events that definitely can be changed and if this were a real, face-to-face reading I would say to him be careful, not to behave like just what I explained above, you have to turn the Wheel again to avoid this. However, if he is too stubborn to make changes this can happen. 

We have the Knight of Wands rx, 3 of Swords, 9 of Cups rx and we have a card very aggressively shot out, this is the 4 of Swords and this landed on the knight and the 3 of S. 

So… because of the 4 of swords, I definitely think this outcome is on a pause and can be avoided. This is the future that hasn’t manifested yet, the one that hasn’t awakened yet ( on the card we have a sleeping, resting figure)

The rx KofW is the one whose fire is out. He is not fast-moving anymore, he is still, stuck etc. He is settled down, but with this, he lost his personality. He lost his passion and creativity. 3 of Sw is a heartbreak obviously (one of the most obvious cards in tarot). 9 of C rx is truth and errors. If it’s upright this is the wish cards, if it’s rx this is the be careful what you wish for. I think he will get his wish (family life, business, a certain image he always wanted) but he won’t be happy about it. The unpleasant truth will be revealed. For example, having a wife and a family don’t mean automatical happiness or having a flourishing movie business requires great effort and being an actor for X years doesn’t mean he will be a great producer. Or working with his partner or family members is a potential source of fights and disagreements. He will realise his errors by the time he reaches this card, but maybe this will be too late. He will be stuck and unhappy. But as I said I feel this is the most distant future, the one he can change the easiest.

4 of W, The Wheel rx, 9 of C rx 

Family life and marriage, the new house will be a letdown to him. First, it will be happiness and celebration about it, but as time passes this alone won’t bring happiness. And this emotional state is kinda devastating when you got the very things you wanted but they don’t bring happiness. This could lead to serious self-esteem problems, a relationship whose only glue is sex and maybe the shared “possessions” ( house, money, kids etc)

The Emperor, 7 of P rx, 3 of Sw

I think he at the moment feels good himself, the Emperor sitting on a throne, he feels he controls things in his life, and everything seems good until it’s not. Because he is impatient and this will lead to heartbreak. For me, this is more about his potential business or image. How he wanted to be seen. He will be hard to deal with as a boss, but this wouldn’t be a problem if he were willing to work. This is where his businesses will have shaky ground. I am not saying his work ethic is not there, he obviously can push his own body limits, but he is a “my way or the highway” type of person and unless you are some Stanley Kubrick level of talent, this is not how you operate creative businesses.  This also can be that at the end he will be too authorative, conrolling in a relationship. loosing temper and that will lead a heartbreak. When money is not enough to keep someone or keep the image. 

Justice, 8 of P, KnofW rx

He will be simply burned out and stucked. Especially if he will be some kind of a boss, he cannot walk away like he did with The Witcher or his other business partnerships. If he wants to be a producer, he has to make that work and if he leaves because of disagreements, he won't have a career in that field. So this is a real danger for him, not handling the situations properly and don’t know how demanding this task is. 

Under the deck: 4 of Pentacles

I don’t know why but I heard tax reasons… Have no idea why, but this reading is very work and pentacles-heavy. 

This card again is money, saving, investments, greed etc.

I don’t get this couple… Again, no love cards at all. 4of Wands can be marriage, but “simple” celebrations too. This relationship’s foundation is so money heavy… I swear I am trying to be positive and give them the benefit of the doubt but based on ALL of my readings on them ( and that is a lot) never ever got card combinations which suggest true love. This still doesn’t mean they won’t get married etc, because Hollywood is weird and we have a bunch of Hillsong-like arranged couples. But I am just confused. 

So… on the card a man holds his pentacles like his dear life depends on it. He obsessed with them, with money, and possessions. He won’t ever think this amount of money I have is finally enough. What is his is his, he doesn’t share. ( this is like Joey Tribbiani and his food situation) He is very rigid with money, especially since we have The Emperor as well. With the rx KnoW this is also jealousy. New career prospects, jobs, new companies etc. I can go on, but I think you got the idea behind of this card. 

During this explanation, I mentioned only him. Because I feel in this matter, whatever it’s coming NV doesn’t really have a word. Except for the Justice card, we don’t have a single female card. On every card we have males. This is a money and male-heavy reading. On the 4 of W we have a couple, but they are distant. I won’t count that as a woman. 

We have a prominent presence of number 4. The Emperor, 4 of Wands, 4 of Swords, 4 of Pentacles and even the 8 of Pentacles ( 8= 2x4) And all of them are upright.

4 is stability, and this should be a moment of stillness. Not the time to radically new things, more like secure what you already have. This should be the time when you can have a break after a period of work or planning. And this is where I think he could fail. Not to give time to things to flourish naturally. 

I feel this reading has very stable energy, in a way that I am sure most things will definitely happen. I felt the same when I did his career reading. That was stable too and 1,5 years later it become true that they scrued him over and lost Supes and Geralt. 

I mentioned how chaotic the reading was, I had to pull cards because of this. Asking why this reading is like this. 2 cards felt off, the Knight of Swords and ( I kid you not) The Tower, this card is chaos itself. I think it is very possible that they had a nasty fight at the moment when I did the reading because this combination suggests me emotional abuse. Both cards are quick and sudden, so maybe this argument comes out of nowhere or broke out because of a minor thing or some secret was revealed. It’s a rattling experience, testing how strong the foundations are.

Anon, hopefully you (and others) don't take offense to this, but after thinking on it last night and some today, it could be that some people aren't as upset this time because they simply weren't as caught off guard as they were before, so they don't care as much. As for the Marina del Rey teambuilding, if you think that is 'S living his life' you are: a) living in a remote mountain/island area or under a rock; b) an impenitent Mordorian with an agenda to boot or c) incredibly incompetent with the way of the world (or at least, that world). Allow me to translate?

It is alcohol promo, duckies, disguised as teambuilding. The intended message is aimed at a younger, non-OL related audience (as I already warned you) and it roughly goes like this:

'we are a fun loving, no nonsense, start-up business in the spirits industry. Because we don't have a huge advertising budget, we're testing the waters with a cheap, reality-TV snippet to better evaluate the number of social media clicks and new followers and help gauge & calibrate the next step'.

Was it poorly executed? Yeah, you could say that, but then what to do, in a very restrictive, highly regulated tobacco & spirits advertising market, hum? Is it my cup of tea? I don't drink, therefore this type of message touches one ball without really moving the other.

Yes. Start-up business: if we take into account the COVID logistic delay, I believe we're still in that three-years frame. And this detail is essential in order to put context around a very forgettable snippet. Selling a brand-new, more democratic product. Selling it clumsily, in an effort to build relevance, because even bad advertising is, ultimately, good advertising. But make no mistake: it's nothing more than that and it is all they can do, in the current context.

This brings to mind another aspect of the charade, namely the fact that after the Remarkable Week-end (and with the exception of some carefully scripted 'slips'), released and available information progressively became (at least) two-tiered.

First tier: information carefully calibrated for immediate release and general consumption, primarily but not exclusively by the fandom. This includes: spirits shilling, innuendos galore, look-here-not-there latergrams. It also entails less direct interaction with the fans on socials and delegating the media management to secondary players (often called to the rescue, too).

Second tier: public information with a limited availability (you have to take the plunge and pay), for sleuths able and willing to go the extra mile. They paint a very different landscape. And draw two copycat timelines of people who are investing, buying and selling property and overall branching out of their primary source of income with a plan.

I am not a photo sleuth. But with a little bit of time on my hands, I am a decent paperwork analyst. Accounting is not my forte, but legal and business is. I saw what I needed to see and it holds.
