any fictional faves or characters who you head canon would be beatles fans? curious

OOOOH OK thing is I have not touched a single piece of media with fictional characters in ages🧍‍♂️ ITS THAT BADD 😭😭

butt going off of my past favorite fictional characters I'd say Todd Anderson and Knox Overstreet from Dead Poets Society. Maybe even Steven Meeks??

Rubber Soul would be their collective favourite album. Meeks would probably enjoy Sgt. Pepper's & MMT for its psychedelic rock (I think he'd like the Yellow Submarine movie). Knox would be a fan of their more earlier albums, where most of their songs were centered around love. And Todd is just sitting right at the middle with Rubber Soul and Revolver--the only two Beatles albums he'd really enjoy.

And in order of who's more of a casual fan to a full blown Beatlemaniac, it'd be Todd, Meeks then Knox.

Todd appreciates their music and their influence and culture, and Rubber Soul and Revolver are his top favorite albums, but I don't really see him getting *too* into them. It's just, another band he likes to listen to. (could NOT be me 😔‼️‼️)

Meeks is almost like Todd, but the difference is that he's genuinely very interested in their story. In the film, all of the dps characters were around 17-18 in 1959, so they were almost the exact same age as the Beatles. They would've grown up with them throughout the years. And j think Meeks would find that interesting to think about. He grew up while watching *them* grow up, with and without their music. He'd seen them evolve and change--physically, musically, and to an extent, personally (a lot of the Beatles private lives weren't kept private). That thought would probably keep him up at night sometimes and lead him down rabbit holes through whatever documentaries and books he can find during that time. I can see him even writing down his thoughts in a journal kept near his beatle albums.

And then Knox is like one step away from being a Beatlemaniac. The only thing that'd hold him back is peers telling him that it's "for girls" or some bullshit like that. But other than that he's trying to best to get to the nearest concert, buying the albums and LPs that come out, reading the monthly magazines, and maybe maybe not obsessing over Paul's ridiculously long eyelashes.......
