Instruments: Piano, trumpet, and vocals (to the slightest of extents. I did vocal jazz and choir, but I never got solos, so I’m nothing spectacular, haha)

Random facts: I’m a first degree black belt in Taekwon-Do, I’ve got noble ancestry on my dad’s side, I have perfect pitch and can tell what notes are being played/what key a song is, and I have a gag reflex to cough syrup.

Fave animal sounds: Cat mrrps/purrs/meows, wolf howls, the cry of the red-winged black bird, the call of the loon (specifically nearing dusk), grebes, 

Aesthetic: I dunno, there’s a few aesthetics I mesh with, so I separated a few by semicolons. I dunno, it looks weird when they’re together (or I just don’t know how to aesthetic)... Marble cathedrals illuminated by sunset, armour, swords, lone warriors, toasting a fallen brother in a warmly-lit and wooden room; Gothic Revival architecture, full moon nights, wolves on the hunt, fangs, dripping blood, screaming at the top of your lungs, a dense forest of birch and pine; driving down a grid road into the sunset, 70s rock airing out into the summer sky from a bedroom, band posters hung haphazardly, sitting on a car’s hood with a drink in hand... (bonus: just take the aesthetics of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, and there you have it)

Ever had a poem or song written about you? My ex had written a couple for me. I found them sweet when we were still together.

When was the last time you played guitar? Grade nine music class.

Who is your celebrity crush?  I dunno. I don’t really have one at the moment.

What’s a sound you hate + a sound you love? Cutlery scraping on a plate always makes me recoil. The sound of rain through the trees, on a window pane, on the roof is something that always puts me at ease... I just love the sound of rain in general, I suppose.

Do you believe in ghosts? I've had experiences in the past that lead me to believe that there’s some form of second existence after we die, so I guess you could say I do.

How about aliens? The universe is too damn big for us to be the only ones.

Do you drive? When I’m home for summer; I walk and take transit when I’m at school.

What was the last book you read? If graphic novels count, I reread all of Blacksad last night. As for actual novels, it might have been The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan.

Do you like the smell of gasoline? Not particularly. I used to like it.

What’s the worst injury you’ve ever had? The three cuts on my left wrist from when I attempted suicide a few years ago. Had to get stitches.

Do you have any obsessions right now? D&D, mainly. The graphic novel I’m writing is on the brain quite a bit, too.

Do you tend to hold grudges against people who have done you wrong? If the wrong is great enough, yes, I do. I never forget.

In a relationship? Yes, and I couldn’t be happier.
