because honestly part of his charm is that he's extremely maidenless... well not maidenless he Is pulling hot babes left and right but friends?? ooh boy,,,

i wouldn't want to take away the fab five from him, despite how poorly they treat him at times. However, i do think it would've been really cool to see him with the new teen titans! i completely understand why he wasn't with them at that point, like i get it. but just from a character relations perspective, i do think this would've been a natural next step if he wasn't so self-deprecating (and busy in atlantis). dick and donna were consistently the nicest to him out of the fab five so he gets to keep some of that previous dynamic. wally is also there but,, roy isn't!!! no offense to roy i like him on his own but he was a big reason why garth left in the first place so. yknow.

but anyway, garth does have good relationships with kori, garfield, and victor. and i guess raven too but we don't really see that,, like ever. he's obviously not close to them, but they're not mean to him. which is a big thing for garth! kori seems to hold him in high regard too, at least after he becomes tempest, so it would've been nice to see their relationship actually progress to the point where she trusts him like that. like in the titans (1999) issue 19 where she says she trusts him with her life. like. what the fuck!! there are also multiple issues where garth and garfield have a little friendship going on (that one panel where garfield yells at arthur gives me so much life adghlj). and there are a few cute moments between garth and victor.

i really don't think he'd become like,, besties or family with any of them, but if i really had to give him More friends, i think they would've been the safest bet.

for around 11 months it was pure bliss...the two of them everywhere and anywhere. onlookers looked on with smiles and hushed whispers about how 'in love' they were. the two of them moved quickly in their relationship, but nobody found anything weird with it based on how their friends watched them and how they spoke about one another in the media when asked. trevor loved bringing home flowers whenever he came back from a roadie, or just because he felt like it. he showered her with gifts from the get-go as her own life was beginning to fill with riches, as her music career took off.

but once the 1 year mark was coming closer and closer, she began to feel a sense of dread. a sense of anxiety and fear, she hadn't had before. whenever she heard his name in passing or whenever somebody asked her about him, she'd freeze and stutter; not sure what to exactly say. or what was weirder, was that she spent more and more time at her apartment in la and not at his newport house...claiming that the record label was hounding her for an album and she was working day and night, like a dog. she did whatever she could in order to not think about him may it be hanging with friends, driving up and down the coast to san diego to visit family and taking spur of the moment trips with her friends. and when people asked her what was wrong or what she was thinking about, she'd always say 'work' and every white lie that came with that topic.

but when she see's trevor sporadically, she understands why she fell in love with him in the first place. he's charming, relentlessly nerdy, incredibly kind and respectful; all of which she adores. and while basking in that feeling for a bit of time, she feels guilty about how her feelings change when she's not with him. she then chalks it up to work, and how much pressure the label is giving her. so maybe just maybe, she'll stick it out with trevor.

shortly after their one year, as she stays with trevor about once or twice a week, she can't help but toss and turn all night. claiming she's just stressed and overly exhausted, and he buys it all. he buys all her, "I've never been happier" or "I've never felt so sure about something in my entire life". he buys the, "once im done with the album ill move in with you." too, yet she knows they wont last. that sickening and dreadful feeling that keeps her up at night.

she goes to all of these lengths just to keep her heart from collapsing and her conscious from crumbling above her, and yet she knows right from wrong. she know's that the one that would be hurt the most is him.

but then when she sits down to write and come up with the chords for a song, she cant help but cry. everything becoming too much for her, her closest friends and producer seeing right through her. her music speaking the words, she can't help but think but not say. she knows that if she lies in a song, she'd be betraying her heart and her soul. her music being her lifelong love and escape, would truly affect her relationship with it.

around a year and five months, she stopped writing. she stopped playing her guitar until the early morning hours. she stopped recording, citing that she was dealing with some personal issue. once the acknowledgment of 'oh shit, i need to break things off- soon' hit her mind one day during a writing session, she knew she couldn't write or sing until she did just that. and so she made her way down the coast to newport to do just that, but when she walked inside she saw a doe-eyed and blissful trevor in her midst. she crumbled right then and there, allowing him to make their way to the bedroom. she laid in his arms, not being able to fall asleep once again; and reminding herself that she loved trevor .. or at least needed to remind herself more. was it though? at least on her part?

trevor was the guy, she thought when they first met. she thought that they were end game and would go to the absolute ends of the galaxy to believe that, to show and make people believe it too. and after some point, she felt guilty about stringing him along and talking about their future plans together. another morning she stopped by abruptly on her way from san diego, she knew she had to break things off with him. yet when she arrived at his place, she found him making breakfast and the brightest smile she hadn't seen in awhile. he went along and continued with his breakfast but not before making a cup of coffee for her and a extra serving of his breakfast for her. before leading her over to the dining room table and held her hand as they ate. guilt crept up her spine as she looked at him, talking about something that had happened on a road trip and she felt a pang in her heart. she was a coward. rather than break the band aid and say what she'd wanted to say for months now...she let him continue to speak.

he was a better person than she was, she thought. he would have ended things a long time ago if he'd felt what she'd felt or thought. he wouldn't have continued to string her along. he was a good person like that. but her? she was half the person he was, he was a good person with good intentions. the culprit?

she didn't want to be alone.

the life was draining from her and her friends watched as it did. she was hiding herself away in her los angeles apartment, shortly after she stopped writing. they were all rightfully concerned with her mental health and wouldn't take the 'im fine's!" she hurled at them time and time again. they even reached out to trevor and even he could not get her to come out of her shell. though, he never got the full story of why she was like that. he dropped around unannounced before and after practice, sometimes staying the night but most times slipping out after she'd fallen asleep. but not without a soft kiss to her temple, and tiptoeing out. his family and friends grew concerned when he opted to stay in newport for the offseason. by the offseason, she'd gone back into the studio and pushed through. the studio eating up whatever she had written, and loved it all.

with no end in sight, she continued to push through with the relationship, trying to get back to how things were before when she was without a doubt, happy and in love. when trevor does finally leave the sunshine state to go visit family and friends, she stays up thinking about her and trevor's future. would she find anybody better than him? would she find the love that they shared early in their relationship? would she find somebody almost as arrogantly confident? somebody with an infinite passion for what they do? their (affectionately) dumb friends who adored her? and somebody with a zest for life? her journals filled to the brim that summer with what had been eating her up inside.

when trevor comes back right before the season begins, he take's her out to malibu one early morning before the sunrise. she was groggy and tired from the night before, and so when she was awoken abruptly she groaned; trying to desperately to go back to bed. trevor said that he wanted to go for a sunrise and she hummed, thinking he'd go by himself. but instead, he tickled her enough to wake her up and she dreaded getting out of bed. they drove up to malibu that September 2nd, and held one another as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. he bit the inside of his cheek, body filled with nerves and anxiety. he whispered her name to begin with, and in the most trevor and most un trevor way, he proposed. she turned around to see him with tears in his eyes and visible anxiety washed over his features. she smiled softly feeling the inside of her scream to say no and beg her to leave the life she grown used to the past mere months. her smile grew wider and faker, as she said yes. trevor had gotten her dream ring from new york, and she gushed as he pulled it out. tears swelled her eyes as she felt her heart tug at the effort he'd made for her. she was going to show him the same effort as well, even if it hurt her to no end.

her record label demanded an ep of some new songs they knew she undoubtedly had written after she got engaged. her album release was a massive success, going #1 and platinum in many countries. her career was reaching new heights and she was engaged? she was the it girl everybody wanted to be. yet she felt so very far from it, but kept that signature smile on at all times.

she felt herself buy into the idea of marrying trevor when she saw how excited her family was when they showed up to a private dinner the very evening of her album released. they gushed and gushed over the ring and endless possibilities her and trevor could have together. she saw how good both of their families bonded and got along with one another. she could feel the pride and gratitude that oozed off of trevor that night. he loved - no absolutely adored this life the universe had bespoked upon him. the singer was just another addition. he thought he had everything before they met, but when he saw her get absolutely hammered at a party they were both invited to; he was enamored. the grace she carried herself with when dancing, talking, singing and most importantly; the love she oozed for her friends was intoxicating. he could not and never wanted to get enough of it.

the look he gave her that night was one she'd never, ever forget in this lifetime. it was how all girls wished to be looked at. the one that would spare nothing to make their partner happy. the one where you know they'd go to the ends of the earth for you and with you. it was as if she hung the moon and the stars for him.

their wedding was a dream. an absolute dream. hollywood and hockey royalty showed up and showed out. the wedding of all weddings. they danced the night away to taylor swift. then as a surprise, trevor and his groomesman shamelessly, did a group dance to one of her upbeat songs as she sat there blushing like a fool, covering her face in embarrassment. they spent the night basking in everybody's presence, the singer not having a second to spare a second thought about what was going to be coming in the next few months. she knew that the world and everybody in their lives would be asking about kids and what not. yet, she pushed that towards the back of her mind. she played the role of a loving and adoring newlywed. she smiled to the camera's as if there was no tomorrow. her friends actually believing that she was happy and that she had found her way back to trevor. and in a way, that was true. she felt stuck with no way out.

the couple retreated back to the ritz carlton new york hotel suite, with a bottle of very expensive champagne, thin slice pizza and new york cheesecake. after stuffing their faces in between making out, the two fell asleep. or at least trevor did. the singer looked up at the ceiling, wide awake and unable to sleep. she had played the part this long...what was another ten?

What I think class 1b were like as toddlers because I cant stop thinking about it <3

Awase - definitely got in trouble a lot for welding shit together, he would welding his toys together to make these big as sculptures to give to his dad and it would be so cute but such a pain in the ass at the same time. He tries to be helpful with his quirk though <3 one time he was holding the light for his dad (universal experience) and welded the light to his forehead only to blind his dad when they looked at eachother.

Sen - he was a good kid for the most part but I think he would test peoples patience and pick fights with litterally everyone. Like some kid down the street looked at him wrong so now hes chasing him down the street screaming with a handfull of water balloons. Has 100% threatened to drill people with his quirk <3 took pictures of anything and everything with his moms phone.

Kamakiri - spent 100% of his time outside catching bugs or frogs or something. His mom would constantly get onto him for bringing bugs and shit into the house so he would go outside with a little grass hopper in his hands and sulk on the porch </3

Kuroiro - he would mostly keep to himself and just draw or play alone simply because he preferred it that way but the one game he always loved playing with others was hide and seek, only because he was a GOD at that game. 100% made a babysitter almost cry before because they thought he ran away or something when he was just hiding in the shadows (quite litterally)

Kendo - pure angel. Nice to everyone and everything and helped with anything she could help with <3 she seems like the type of kid that would hold your hand or something if you were sad or do something for you that makes her happy and omg I love her sm <3

Kodai - quiet kid. She did 100% use her quirk oh her toys though. Like she would take a small dino figure and size it up to take up her entire room to be more accurate to the game shes playing. Mostly kept to herself and was akward around others but definitely liked helping <3

Komori - problem child. She grew mushrooms everywhere and would pretend to make mushroom soup with the mushrooms she grew <3 definitely had to go to the hospital before because 'pretty mushrooms cant be poisonous' (the pretty mushroom was in fact poisonous)

Ibara - had one of those pocket bibles that she carried with her all the time. Stereotypical christian kid <3 not much I can say tbh exsept I feel like her vine hair would get caught on stuff a lot

Shishida - such a big kid for his age but shy asf. Hid behind his moms leg when he met new people. People constantly thought he was a short teen for how hairy he is when hes like 5. Idk why but he gives me 'doesent like loud noises' vibes. Asked his mom for shades to look cool and they stayed with him ever since

Shoda - shy kid that hides behind his moms leg 2.0. Idk why but I feel like he was a leash kid. Not because he was a problem child but because he would just wander off and no one would notice. Almost got cps called on him mom like 12 times for child neglect because he just walks away lmao

Pony - she the kid that walks up to strangers at pools and stuff and says shit like "my mommy says that her sister is a narcissistic bitch that deserves to rot in hell, watch me do this, its really cool!" Then she just jumps in the pool while whoever shes talking too goes through the 5 stages of grief.

Tsubaraba - problem child. Definitely was one of those kids that made up jokes that dont make sense (He thinks theyre funny plz laugh) also a very talkative kid. Not in the pony way but he would walk up to you and tell you everything he knows about dinos <3 ran out of breath quickly when he was a kid (cuz his quirk) so he had a little inhaler on him all the time

Tetsutetsu - outgoing popular kid that everyone likes. Everyone wants him on their dodge ball team <3. Knew different cuss words but not what they ment so he would say shit like 'son of a fuck you bitchin butt fart' or shit like that. Almost bit his tongue off before because he was talking while eating. (I wanna say he learned his lesson but he did it again a week later.)

Tokage - really liked legos as a kid. Her entire bedroom was just legos and her pet lizard named after some character from a movie she liked or smthn. She would confidently shout the wrong awnser in class (thinking shes right) and get hella confused when the teacher says shes wrong. Pony type talkative <3

Manga - his parents fridge never had enough room for his drawings. The only trouble he would cause is drawing on the walls or his bed sheet and stuff like that. He was pretty good at controlling his quirk but he was still really careful to not say certain things that would lead to house fires or his family being crushed lmao

Honenuki - adorable kid. He would constantly go up to strangers and compliment them <3 he would steal his dads ties and stuff and walk around with them on to feel like an adult and it was always so cute. Definitely the type of kid thay would take his moms phone to take pictures of random flowers and shit.

Bondo - taller and bigger than the rest of the kids his age. He preferred playing with bugs and other small animals than the other kids. One day he came home from school and his mom saw that he had a rabbit? For some reason? Next thing ya know they have a pet rabbit called carrot stick and it was his best friend <3

Monoma - he was cannonly teased and made fun of a lot as a kid for his quirk so I think he had some hannah montana type double life. Like at school he was being bullied and kept to himself and just kinda sit there and take it but at home he would be talking about how he rulled the school and was treated like a king there because of how awesome he is </3

Reiko - watched a lot of horror movies as a kid. Like her babysitter would be like 'you cant watch that its too scary' but then the babysitter is the one that ends up scared while reiko is drawing a little doodle of whatever movie monster is in front of her <3

Rin - angel child. Definitely shy but will talk your ear off if you ask him about dragons <3 his mom has the entire 'how to train your dragon' movie franchise memorized because of how often rin would watch it. He would pick flowers (or weeds that look like flowers) on his way home from school and give them to his family.

As I went to the bathroom to do my skincare, a someone had beat me there.

On the way there I was talking and waking with Kitty and Q.

“I got cooking lessons when I took Korean lessons, when I was younger .”

“Plus, if I don’t know what I’m doing, I’ve won awards for my mashed potatoes.” Kitty says as she moves the cart.

“No,no, no. As a Korean national, I cannot in good conscience let you guys desecrate my native cuisine like this.” Min ho says.

“Hey what?” Kitty and I say as Min ho takes the cart.

“Do you want to poison your classmates, or do you want my help?” He asked.

“Fine, but I’m making my kimchi.” I say.

“And I still making my mashed potatoes.” Kitty said.

“I have an entire system.” Kitty says as Min ho scoffs.

“Just follow me.” Min ho says.

I woke up early to start cooking, when I notice Min ho was already cooking.

“You’re are angelic in the morning.” He says.

“Thanks, I know I look good.” I say.

“Where’s Kitty?” He asked

“Still sleeping.” I say.

“Why are you up this early?”

“To finish my kimchi I made yesterday?” I said.

“Who’s this from?” I say looking at baskets of gifts.

“No way, you have Peppero?” I say almost touching it.

“No, John Cho is having a thing.” He replied back.

“Oh,’Lulu about time.”

“There are these teeny tiny microscopic moments like these why I can see why Dae is friends with you. There’s an actual person in here.” I say.

“Chuseok, family, and ancestor stuff.”

“No, I haven’t. It’s definitely a difficult holiday for him.” Min ho said.

“Yeah,” I say.

“And, you?” He asked.

“Me, huh and what?” I say back.

“You must be thinking about your mom too. A lot thus week.” He says.

“Yeah, I am. But in a good way. I can feel her all around me, plus she was the reason I came here.”

“Thank you Min ho.” I said smiling

“You’re welcome.” He said back.

“Okay, I mean I feel bad for Kitty and all, but why does Dae matter? He is just a boy.” I say.

“Excuse me?” Min ho said.

“I just wished they could make up or something.”

“They could give each others gift, I mean also pass me the gochugaru.” He says.

As I finished making my kimchi, Min ho was texting his phone.

“ Confirmed, Lulu will be at the premises at 8 pm.” Min ho says.

“I’m sure she will greatly enjoy the chocolates” I say.

“The chocolates was actually for someone else.” He says.

“Hey, don’t judge.” He says. “Not all people needed to be star-crossed lover to be compatible.”

“Like, hot people for example.”

“So not you?” I asked.

“Whatever.”

“But we can and want to play the field.” Minho said.

“It’s fine dear. I’m Jenny Song. I’m looking for Andrea Song Covey. She my cousin. Her visual would be perfect for my modeling company!” Jenny said.

“My name is Andrea Song Covey.. and I’m willing to maybe join. I don’t know.” I say.

“ That fine, here.” She said giving me a card.

“Give me a call or text if you need anything.”

“Will do, thanks.”

As I was walking back , someone called for me.

“ANDREA!” Min ho said.

“What the hell did Kitty put in those potatoes ?” He asker.

“Uhh, a lot of lactose. Like Milk and cheese..”

Hey, when you said RHATO Jason is the worst version on your last ask, were you referring to the first comic, second comic, or the Webtoon? (Honestly annoyed the Webtoon took that name, makes things even more confusing)

I have problems with all 3 (Webtoon most of all for sure, with the second and first switching places behind it based on what characters or plots I’m thinking about tbh), but I was just curious haha

oh. oh. oh you're not ready for this. I've been trying this entire week to find a good time to air out my thoughts:

so! in my opinion (again, this is not shaming anyone for liking what they like! if you happen to like RHATO!jason all the more power to you! dont read this!) all three reiterations of RHATO!Jason .. are not great. the one I think might have potential to be salvaged is the second one with Artemis and bizarro! (although roy harper is in my heart of hearts)

the way Jason is written in rhato... the rhato written by Scott Lobdell anyway, (who is actually a sexual predator and when you start to think even a LITTLE about how the women are written in RHATO makes so much sense) portrays Jason as yet another cookie cutter anti-hero-deadpool-esque personality who's mainly confined by the narrative restraints of his character.

I say this because hes so.... the way he goes about his vigilantism is so .. shallow. It's like the narrative is finding excuses to make him violent so the reader can be stimulated with Michale Bay explosions lol. You hardly see any stories in there where Jason is an actual champion for the people, and you hardly see his background as a street kid come into play... its like... he became... a vigilante because....he knows how the system can fail those... alienated and forgotten by those sworn to protect them... and thus channels his energy into said people through acts of radical protection... (also because the whole bruce thing yeah I know)

I keep thinking about injustice!Jason's monologue where he literally says something along the lines of "while bruce and clark were fighting I fought for the people who were being caught up in the whole thing" like if that doesn't just tell you who he is idk what will! and sure, injustice isn't Jason source material, so look at under the red hood! he literally becomes a drug kingpin TO CONTROL crime ... and then instead of getting these immense shows of care he has for the community in RHATO, we get panels like this:

this is the new and improved Jason!! he's suave.. hes American... he's... just like every other antihero now!!

I don't know how to explain it without sounding like an idiot- best bet is to read the comics yourself to kinda get what im saying! but even rebirth Jason is (kind of) getting what RHATO Jason doesn't-- he's a product of his huge heart. rebirth Jason has countless stories where we see how Jason ACTUALLY operates as red hood, and what his symbol means to the citizens of Gotham!

if you pour too much grit and "edginess" into Jason, then you kind of miss what he's all about- he can still be silly and sarcastic! in fact, one of my favorite Jason moments is from red hood: lost days, a series where he's portrayed as an edgy, "misfit" ruffian:

like. hello this is hilarious. and we can still have moments like these while balancing his emotional range as a vigilante that's motivated by his big fat heart! (ignoring the fact that he slept with Talia in the next issue 😭 Jason fans can't have shit 😭)

but anyway! ill likely add more when I'm not feeling so tired, but god!! is it so hard to show Jason's propensity for kindness!! is it so hard to realize that his character to the core is revolved around a deep understanding for others based on personal experience!!

there's a reason why DC (in the rare moments when they know what to do with his character) always writes stories with Jason consoling children, or Jason being good with kids in dangerous situations!

it's because he's been there before. he's felt the grief and confusion of being helpless in a situation of his control. he's felt the consequences of adults who were supposed to protect and raise him! he's been killed for daring to cling on to the notion of trust even after all he's been through!

and I don't know, I think his dedication to the people, children especially, is his way of forgiving himself- his way of telling little Jason that it wasn't his fault.

In a few of your posts, you’ve mentioned your annoyance with Batfam fans trying to push Dick as Wally’s BFF (when we all know it’s actually Piper). But are there other ways you feel that fans ignore Wally’s personality and backstory in favor of putting the focus on Dick? (I’m a New Teen Titans fan, so I have kind of have the opposite problem. I get to see post after post about how “Sure, the Titans are Dick’s team, but the Bats are Dick’s ~family~.)

Here's the thing: I don't have an actual problem with Dick and Wally being best friends. They are, canonically, and I recognize that, and even write it a lot. I do have a problem with the way fandom completely devalues Wally as an entire character and his own person and makes him exist solely for the sake of Dick. Like, yeah, Wally spends a LOT more time with Piper than he ever does with Dick. Wally has a wife and children. Wally has a very, very, extremely busy life usually juggling multiple teams at once. Dick is not the be-all, end-all of his existence. You wouldn't know that from reading fic. You'd think that Wally lives in Gotham and doesn't have any goals or friends or plans of his own that don't involve Dick in some capacity. You'd think he only thinks about Dick 24/7 (also why I HATE Tom Taylor's Nightwing, like, Wally doesn't have time to be checking on Dick nonstop like that, and it's also not at all in line with their relationship, he doesn't even check on his ACTUAL WIFE like that, and Linda is his favourite person in the world).

Wally is actually...significantly more accomplished than Dick, but that also tends to get glossed over and downplayed a lot. Wally isn't just supportive Best Friend Dude, he's an impatient, temperamental, stubborn idiot who also values the relationships he has with people and tends to operate as the heart of whatever team he's on. Even when Wally is mad at people, he will try to have everyone getting along, but he will also simultaneous be a bitch about it because he's kind of a bitch. Wally can be SUPER mean, too. Just look at Kyle! Another character who he is super close to and gets ignored by a lot of fandom who only know and treat Wally as an extension of Dick.

People say Dick is friends with everyone in DC, but honestly I think Wally fits that bill significantly more (even when people don't like him) becuase he's been on so many different teams and has connections to so many more. He's been on like four different iterations of the Justice League, he hangs with the JSA, he's out there with the Titans, and he'll be managing two cities on his own on just...a regular daily basis. He has relationships with super obscure characters from all corners of DC. Wally has beef with Captain Atom, for crying out loud. Who even cares about Captain Atom??? (apologies to all my friends who do care, yall dont count, lolol)

Idk what else to say, my DC brain has been turned all the way off lately, but I think this about sums it up? Idk if I answered your question, but if I did not, I'll try to gather my thoughts better if you ask me something more specific

Ok so, hello, new Ordem Paranormal fan here, I'm not Brazillian so I apologize if any of my questions are stupid, and if you do not want to/don't have the answer to any of my questions, I will not be offended. I've just finished O Segredo Na Floresta (That ending man...fuck) and while I know some spoilers from later campaigns, I generally don't know the context around them. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I have way too many questions, so feel free to pick and choose. 1. I've noticed that the artist between the second and third campaign changes, or at least I think that's the case because the styles are incredibly different. I'm assuming that it's because Cellbit wanted more realism, but I was curious if that was it or not because I can't really find anything on my own (the wiki, sadly, doesn't seem to have pages for the artists :() (I'm just curious about this, I like both art styles) 2. Have you ever had a llonguet or coxhina? Not entirely related to Ordem Paranormal but they mentioned those foods a few times so I was curious as to how good they were, they both look good tbh 3. It only gets worse from here doesn't it. (This next question is more so Desconjuracao and Calamidade than either of the ones I've watched) 4. I know about the relics, do they all work differently? I mean, yeah they do but like, the human in that body dies when they take over, right? But like, can they make the body immortal or does the body still age? I assume not with the God of Death because...yeah just saw that, but it could still decompose I guess. Idk, the relics fascinate me and I'm really excited for Desconjuracao to get translated 5. How many times does the system change? Because the first campaign was a d6 system, the second is a d100 system, but the wiki says Ordem Paranormal is a d20 system. Does it get more finalized by Desconjuracao? Or will it take til Calamidade for me to see the current system? I'm really hoping the rulebook gets translated someday, I'd love to play or gm, and I'm curious as to what campaign would be a good reference for what it might be like. 6. Do you have a favorite character? I don't have many people to talk Ordem Paranormal in depth with so I'm curious as to what other fans opinions are. Also, are there any characters that generally people really dislike? 7. Not sure if you read fanfics or comics, but do you have any you'd recommend? 1- well you are a minority because people really hate the old artist (Rafael da Hq) well it was changed because the new artist (Orenjiro) did beutiful fanart and cellbit decided that he would do the art for ordem ever since! (Minus o segredo na ilha, that was bonees), but the main reason why the fandom does not talk is because he did tracing and was exposed for pedophilia, also i did not know that there wasn’t any wiki pages for the artists like what? They maybe will do some soon!

2- because of your grammar i unfortunaly dont know what you ment by what you ment by llounguet but i already had many coxinhas in my life lol, they are a pretty popular "salgado" (salty food) and i really like it, the ones filled with chicken are the best (i mean its pretty rare a coxinha be anything BUT filled with chicken but WHAT EVER), i hope you get to taste coxinha, is pretty good

4- i mean you won’t get much about the calamity relics since they are more important in calidade but basicly the human body that the relic is inhabiting dosen't age and is pretty much imortal (unless other relic kills it) bur when the human body of the relic dies, they just poof like the human body dosen't exist anymore and they go to another human to continue doing their elements Jobs

5- Oh honey the only season that they play 100% from the ordem paranormal rpg rulebook is sinais do outro lado, this system had a fuck ton of changes and rewrites especially because the comunity was very involved in it

6- Oh i have a bunch of them but my main favs are liz and my baby joui 💜, so the fandom is fascinating because the character can be very loved with a very toxic fanbase but also very hated with a bunch of toxic haters (joui's case lol) but most of the time the really hated character's are from the villans side, mainly npc's but this hatred is generely only really prevelent for character's with players when the season is airing yk? But for me is kinda hard to tell witch character is the most hated for all fandom because it really depends on your fandom circle because is pretty commun to get a bunch of comments of "OMG WHY DO YOU HATE THIS CHARACTER" for pretty much evey character in ordem

7- about fanfics... i unfortunaly don’t have much recomendations because i do not read much ordem fanfics (especially because the fandom is kinda dead right now and all ordem ficwritters became spiderbit/guapoduo ficwritters) well the fanprojects are kinda dead right now unfortunately, but there is official comics of ordem paranormal that adapt the first season and the first part of season 2 translated to english that you can buy it officially in e-book form! I also have a project for myself in adapt ordem seasons in manga form (and rewrite some stuff that dosen't make sanse) and make a silly self indulgent fanfic adding two oc's of mine as character's living the happy horror's that is the ordem paranormal universe, but i little idvice if you want to see ordem content

Heey just wanted to tell you that I adore your art, especially the way you draw Barok. You humanised him in a way I've never seen an artist do. All your characters, but especially him, look like real, soft, approachable people. I can almost see their chests expanding, I can imagine them laughing and breathing, I can tell how in love your ships are, which is very special and very rare

I've been drawing for about ahhhh 16 years( 8 of which are actually like serious school stuff than just a hobby) but tbh its only really been in the last 3 where i feel like ive been making actual progress in improving my stuff. but thats my personal path in art and its always gonna be different for you or anyone else.

anyways 3 years ago i made some changes to my drawing habits and study methods that were like. real specific to where i wanted my art to go (cleaner lines, better foundations, gesture, etc etc). I worked on thing one at a time tho!! it can get overwhelming real quick if youre not careful. So the stuff im gonna give you is geared towards....well, me? both in content im searching for and just the classes that resonate how i like learning

OK BOOKS:

CLEANER LINES. I use to have a habit of making like EXTREMELY sketchy and unconfident lines. This is a landscape book that i literally just copied every single thumbnail. Helped me get into the habit of both using only a few strokes to get an idea across and breaking down complicated subjects into shapes

ANATOMY. Morpho series. Its not a how-to-book tho its just a compilation of an artists break downs. This one is my fav tho. And helped a lot when i was struggling to understand like ALL BODY PARTS

CLOTHING. This is probably my fav clothing book. Very short and published in the 1940s. Its helpful specifically to ME cause its clothing is closer to TGAA outfits(mens) than more modern books LOL

And now CLASSES. I do actually have an art degree from a university and let me tell you. I was left SEVERELY lacking any skills i needed to go into the industry I was interested in 👍 (not cause of the professors but cause the school itself was actively killing its art department :p) So i was kinda just left looking into online stuff on my own (AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE!!!! MY BELOVED AFFORABLE CLASSES )

NEW MASTERS ACADEMY. Its a subscription-have access to all the videos for a month to a year- kind of thing. cheapest is about $40 a month. REALLY REALLY helped my anatomy and foundations. Steve Huston: Good for entire step by step anatomy break downs. Micheal Mattesi & Karl Gnass: Gesture. I've watched a handful of other videos but these instructors were the most helpful to me

DRAWING AMERICA. A lot more pricey. Around $100-$300. but youre basically paying to own the recorded classes and keep them forever. I've only really taken Will Westons classes cause he focuses on BGS and props. But he also has some nice composition stuff thrown in there too.

(I've taken a LOT of online courses and the thing about a majority of them is that they arent really taught by professors or teachers so they tend to be more like a giant Tip video than an actual lesson plan. And if u haven't taken an art class before the difference is HUGE)

and i think thats it? i guess if theres anything else i can give u its this tip:

you mentioned my art is humanizing. Thats a comment ive heard a few times and i guess its odd to say but i dont really know what youre seeing? Like i understand the "ships in love" but cause i did go out of my way to draw sappy love faces 10 bajillion times until i was satisfied. But alive? hmmmmmm like THINK i might know what you may be responding to. Its a combo of the gesture and my effort in trying not to loose the energy of the original sketch when i go to clean it up. And what ive figured out is this. Youre not outlining or tracing your under sketch youre REDRAWING it .

i put the under sketch and clean up next to each other so hopefully this makes sense but like. when i do an under sketch im only really focused on building the figure. When u build a figure youre drawing out bigger shapes and breaking them down into smaller and smaller ones. Lines feel like they have more energy at this stage because the circles and cylinders are fully drawn out, making them have a continuous momentum. So then when it comes to the clean up stage. im not looking to trace the exact lines i drew out (if u notice my final isnt a 1 to 1 copy of the og) im trying to follow the flow of the original lines. thats why youll see lines go thru the figure sometimes, its me trying to keep the energy in that line even if its not suppose to be very long.

idk if this makes any sense at all.....and maybe i should have recorded me actually drawing this out but [shrug emoji] i could do it later if anyone is interesting in wtf is happening here. CAUSE I SWEAR ever since i started cleaning my sketches like this i started to get those comments. but also i could be wrong too.....then i REALLY dont know what im doing ahahahah

I don't know enough about music to ask interesting interview questions, but would you want to like explain your artistic process for how you have made your albums? Like how long did they take to make, what's your starting point? this is a totally optional ask I just thought it would be interesting to hear about something you're interested in

ty for the ask! i feel like the answers to these questions are sorta hard for me to answer tbh because i really did just stumble into this, at least thats how it seems to me.

for baatmoia, id say it took me roughly 9 months to make from beginning to end, but i dont know when i really consciously started working on it. the concept of "making an album" was something i was essentially challenging myself to do, seeing as ive been making music for a long time and only sparsely released a smidgen of it under a different project. they were also the first songs of mine i ever wrote and recorded lyrics/vocals for, which was another challenge for me. as for the construction of it (continuous mix) thats just something i like doing with mixes - my favorite albums have A Flow to them, and i liked making it so that you couldnt have clean delineations between when songs began and ended. thats also part of my mindset behind obscuring my vocals so much, which in turn is just an expression of wanting to make an album that felt dreamy, hazy, ethereal, formless. thats also what i did for baatlnoyl, but for a different reason. i operated a lot on "vibes" for both albums since i didnt really have any other metric (and i still dont), which tbh i like because i think it helps add a very personal feeling to everything.

baatlnoyl is inspired by a dream i had, also took about 9 months(ish), and was directionless for a long time until i was a monthish away from my self imposed deadline. in this dream, i fell in love with a character of that dream and i woke up before i could really tell them. and after trying to use that dream for inspiration for one song in particular, i realized the idea fit with a sort of "call and response" i had noticed with everything else i had written (a lot of repeating motifs). so like, after 8 months of working on this, the album turned into a sort of nonlinear story about that kind of experience and what it would feel like for both people after the dream ended. i wanted this one to be noisier and harsher, but also more expansive in genre (the shoegaze/etc focus on baatmoia was also a self imposed challenge). technically speaking, a couple songs on here have been on my backburner for years, but they finally found a home here (most of it is still brand new material though). i still feel like this one isnt fully complete - i skidded into that deadline and i think it shows. im planning on fixing it up soon to hopefully actually make it the way id like to keep it.

im so sorry if these answers are like disjointed and rambling, its hard for me to explain because so much of the entire nature of these albums was "intuitive," doing something because i Simply Wanted To, because It Felt Right. if i tried to explain every component, i think itd very quickly turn into incoherent babbling. but thank you for the interest in how i make these!!

What I like the most about your writing

First off: you write fantastic dialogue and awesome banter!

But even more than that, the thing I love about your writing is that you are SO good at writing emotional complexity - both in your silly/funny stories and in the ones that make me cry. By which I think I mean you always write characters simultaneously feeling multiple things at once, often in ways that they aren't even fully aware of themselves. Like .... you're good at writing the conflict between the words people say (and the fronts they put up) versus the underlying feelings that they're either pushing away or leaning into, if that makes sense? Which works so well because you use descriptions of actions/physical sensations just very well and very judiciously. It's a lot of 'show don't tell' kinda work and its amazing.

Also, you're very very good at having a sort of lyricism/poetic-ness - with repeated phrases or callbacks and such - about your prose that just makes the vibes of your stories like ... really rich and satisfying (like a good stew... if it was also a piece of music? idk. I'm mixing my metaphors here.)

Hmm. Things I want to talk about from my recent fics. Well. First of all I think the proposal in the boot fic is very sweet and i am really fond of that one and almost nobody has read it and they should because its cute.

And I really liked writing the Elaine scene in the jancy breakup fic, I never really write OCs and she only exists for like a paragraph but I am kind of obsessed with her. Also just that fic in general I think is sort of interesting structurally and I think I captured the mid twenties lostness of it pretty well.

And tbh I really enjoyed playing with their dynamic in the falafel smut? It's the smuttiest thing I have ever written but I feel like there is interesting character stuff happening there that made it fun to write in a way I often do not find smut writing to be.

it always makes me so incredibly happy when people view the characters similarly to me aswell bc like u mentioned they Are kinda prone to getting mischaracterized in some ways...... i think it mainly comes from both natsume and tsumugi having MANY factors to their characters though, and the mischaracterization comes from only highlighting one aspect of them and failing to think about how their different attributes overlap (although this can probably be said for the entire cast tbh). like an easy example that im sure everyone gets by now is natsumes little tsundereisms. if you only focus on him being rude to tsumugi it can look like hes just some edgy guy with anger management issues, but when you take into account other factors such as him having a rather spoiled upbringing both by his parents and nii-sans, and his distaste towards feeling "weak" (also caused by his upbringing, since he was frail as a child and raised as a girl) you start to see that oh. alot of that is just him being defensive and emotionally immature. since he had such a comfortable upbringing those hints of discomfort and vulnerability are threatening to him as someone who always had everything handed to him. and when you dont know how to deal with situations like that ASWELL as being afraid of being seen as "weak" youre Gonna start resorting to harsher words and sometimes even get physical because you have no clue how else to handle this. its also why the natsumes character consists of him being pretty obsessed with "growing up" and "not being a kid anymore," because he knows how immature he could be SKHDGJH he doesnt have bad intentions he just. doesnt know how to be vulnerable with people

oh my god so fucking many dude fanart is my lifeblood being obsessed with media is 99% of my drive to make anything. i do make art otherwise but nothing activates my drawingbrain the way getting crazy about a new Thing does. sometimes unfortunate and something i feel kinda cringe for but whatevs here's some off the top of my head(...and top of my folder): futurama, sam and max, pinky and the brain, green eggs and ham, osomatsu-san, [REDACTED], yakuza, dan vs, undertale/deltarune, community, trolls, freakazoid, bill and ted, half life but the ai is self aware, regular show, mob psycho 100, count duckula, sonic, time squad, fallout new vegas, also a few obscurer movies or such. & of course some im embarrassed to mention bc they suck bad in some way or another ooor i regret ever liking. plus all the stray bits ive drawn for other people or just because of things im not actually into..

24. How do you deal with artblock?

either byyy just NOT drawing for a while, or messing around trying new / random / weird stuff. sometimes even just going to another medium entirely ie (physical) collage. idk if i fully believe in art block really being a thing but i also dont remember whatever stance i had in much detail so shrug. but like yeah generally if i am struggling with getting myself to make anything or amke anything i'm remotely satisfied with i either take a break or i push through it in whatever way. actually wait one more thing i do like to do is redraws of my own old art or like screencap studies & things like that. it kind of boosts your confidence seeing how you've improved especially when you are not feeling confident in your abilities, and i just find imitating references or others' drawings easier than doing anything from scratch in times like those

hello void! Long time, no posts! There is nothing satisfying or interesting happening in my life at this particular moment so I’m gonna try ONCE AGAIN to document things on this godforsaken hellscape of an internet. Maybe texting things out instead of picking up a legitimate pen will help me to journal/blog. “What’s the purpose of blogging?” the void asks. Great question, void. My answer is simple. I DONT FUCKING KNOW. I need to get these thoughts out bc why tf not I guess but also maybe someone else will relate? Maybe I’ll find community? Maybe I’ll just be another data point that’s ignored by everyone? Idk dude. I’m tired and I want to complain. Is that okay with you? No? Who cares. I’m doing it anyways and tbh I never asked for your opinion and even if I did I’m not sure I would care about it until late at night when I begin to think about every interaction I’ve ever had.

Let’s talk about ME

My least favorite but also my favorite subject. I’ve been watching a lot of video essays and thought daughter tiktoks as of late and I’ve come to the conclusion that I think I’m a loser. A girl failure, a femcel, a weird woman… if you will or if you won’t. So the thing is, I grew up adjacent to American School culture but not in it, just an observer of it. This has done wonders for my psyche bc I was able to establish myself as an archetype whenever I wanted but never had the data to back up my validity. Am I poser? Most definitely. I did not have the social standing in my community to fit into a specific group and become defined. There was no status quo for me to chase. It was just me, on the bleachers. I was watching every other child and adolescent close to my age find their social standing and redefine it, get lost in it, or be rejected by society! And I was merely an observer, a fan, an audience member. So now as an adult I am surrounded by individuals who had that opportunity and they’ve moved past the implications of high school. But does high school ever end? I wouldn’t know bc high school wasn’t something I did. Was I jock? Was I a nerd? Was I a theater kid? (I definitely was not a theater kid.) but I never knew and I certainly don’t know now! Is it relevant? Probably not. But I’m having trouble finding an identity in which I can relate to people with, that is excluding my close circle of friends of course. All of this has become a burgeoning thought bc I started a new job, I’m planning to go back to school, and the schools I am entertaining are NO where near my current home. Meaning within a year or two, I will be in an entirely different community and having to introduce myself to strangers as a no name, no identity, no social standing… loser/person. All of which has never stopped me before, but… it’s been on my mind more presently than it ever has before. I have always been fine as an observer. It’s quite exciting to see how people interact with each other especially when they are forced into a situation in which they never would have otherwise interacted with each other.

What do I mean when I say I am a loser? To provide clarification, I don’t mean it in a negative context. I think of myself as an outlier in my community. My thoughts and opinions are somewhat in opposition of the cultural norm. My interests are more closely aligned with characterizations of a “‘morally bankrupt woman”. I call that reality but that’s not everyone’s reality. Here are the facts.

- my screen time is laughably high.

- I’m obsessed with off putting things

- I have no interest in aligning myself with trends

- I’m a big fan of being leisurely

- I like ugly things

This all kind of reads like a loser. I’m successful at keeping a job, I can win at certain things in life. But I definitely have had my fair share of failures. Can I make a friendship or relationship last? Sometimes but my history is kind of… it’s not great. Am i interested in improving those odds? I think it would be remiss to say… nah, I really don’t care. Fuck it we ball. ✌🏽
