Hello, I just had the cutest idea, for Jing Yuan, Blade, Sunday, and Jiaoqiu, what if the reader dressed up their toddler in a mini version of their father's outfit, ngl lie I think that would be so cute.
Little Reflections

Jing Yuan lounged on a garden bench in the Luofu’s arboretum, a cup of tea balanced delicately in his hand. The peaceful atmosphere seemed to mirror his unhurried demeanor. Despite his reputation as the "Dozing General," his eyes missed nothing—especially not the sound of small, uneven footsteps heading his way.
He turned his head, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. You approached, holding the hand of your toddler, who waddled toward him with as much dignity as a two-year-old could muster. Jing Yuan's sharp gaze softened when he noticed what the child was wearing: a perfectly tailored miniature version of his own uniform.
The tiny cape draped over your child’s shoulders fluttered with each step, and the golden accents on their blouse glimmered in the sunlight. Even the nian-inspired armor on their right arm had been lovingly recreated, though made of light fabric instead of metal.
“Look who’s decided to join the Cloud Knights,” Jing Yuan teased, setting down his cup. He crouched and opened his arms as the toddler tottered into his embrace.
“Say hello to General Jing Yuan,” you teased back, watching as the child babbled nonsensical sounds, clearly more interested in tugging at Jing Yuan's ponytail ribbon than any formality.
Jing Yuan chuckled, adjusting the red ribbon so it wouldn’t be pulled loose. “I must say, this little knight already looks the part. Who made this for them?”
“I had some help from the tailors,” you admitted. “But the design is all mine. Do you like it?”
Jing Yuan stood, cradling the toddler in one arm while placing a hand on your shoulder with the other. “Like it? I love it. Though I think they might upstage me at the next council meeting.”
You laughed. “Well, maybe they’ll share the workload, too.”
Jing Yuan smirked, looking down at the child now trying to gnaw on the tassel hanging from their hip. “Perhaps. But for now, I’ll enjoy having both of my little stars by my side.”
Tumblr media
Blade was rarely one to let emotions show, but when he stepped into your living quarters and saw your toddler standing proudly in the middle of the room, even he paused.
The child was dressed in a miniature version of Blade’s attire, complete with a tiny replica of his tailcoat. The red inner lining peeked out with every wobbling step they took toward him, and the dark blue embroidery shimmered faintly in the dim light. They even had a bandaged arm and a toy sword strapped to their waist.
“Is this your idea?” Blade asked, his voice soft but laced with curiosity.
You smiled from where you sat nearby, a sewing kit still on the table. “Do you like it? They wanted to look like their papa.”
The child reached Blade and tugged at his coat, their bright red eyes looking up at him expectantly. Blade knelt, his usually piercing gaze softening as he reached out to brush a hand over the child’s head.
“You’ve done well,” he murmured, though it was unclear whether he was speaking to you or the toddler.
The child giggled, gripping the toy sword and thrusting it forward with all their might. “Fight bad guys!” they announced, their high-pitched voice echoing in the room.
Blade chuckled—a rare, genuine sound that you hadn’t heard in a long time. “You’ll need a lot more training for that.”
You approached, resting a hand on Blade’s shoulder. “I thought it might make you smile. Do you like it?”
He stood, the child now perched on his arm, their small hands gripping his coat. “I do,” he admitted quietly. “It’s...perfect.”
Tumblr media
Sunday was deep in thought when you entered his study, guiding your toddler into the room. His sharp eyes shifted from his documents to the sight before him, and he froze.
The child wore a small version of his regal Halovian outfit, complete with a tiny halo hovering above their head—a clever accessory you’d crafted using lightweight materials. The gold cross-shaped cutouts on their gloves and the navy wing-like vest were lovingly recreated, and the soft gray blazer hung slightly oversized on their small frame.
“Is this...my little successor?” Sunday’s voice was tinged with amusement, though his piercing gaze softened as he took in the sight.
You grinned. “They wanted to dress like their papa. What do you think?”
The toddler toddled toward him, their hands reaching out to grab at the papers on his desk. Sunday leaned down and scooped them up, careful not to disturb the halo balancing atop their head.
“I think they’re a vision of perfection,” he said, his tone warm. “Though I might need to keep them away from my work.”
The child giggled, their small hands patting Sunday’s face. “Papa!” they exclaimed, clearly delighted to have his attention.
Sunday chuckled, pressing a kiss to their forehead. “Perhaps this is a sign,” he mused, looking at you. “A reminder to step away from work every now and then.”
You smiled. “I thought it might bring some joy to your day.”
“It has,” he said, cradling the child in one arm. “Though I think our little angel might outshine me in this outfit.”
Tumblr media
Jiaoqiu sat quietly on the veranda, his feather fan resting on his lap. Despite his blindness, his ears perked up at the sound of light footsteps approaching, accompanied by your soft laughter.
“Who’s there?” he asked gently, his closed eyes tilting toward the noise.
“It’s us,” you replied, guiding your toddler closer. “And we brought a surprise.”
The child toddled forward, their tiny hands gripping the edge of Jiaoqiu’s robes. They were dressed in a miniature version of his healer’s attire, complete with a feather fan of their own. The soft salmon-colored fabric matched Jiaoqiu’s hair perfectly, and their fluffy fox ears twitched with excitement.
Jiaoqiu’s lips curved into a smile as he reached out, his fingers brushing over the child’s outfit. “What’s this?” he murmured.
“They wanted to be like you,” you explained, kneeling beside him. “Do you like it?”
The child climbed onto Jiaoqiu’s lap, giggling as they waved their tiny fan. Jiaoqiu let out a soft laugh, his hands resting gently on the child’s shoulders.
“It’s perfect,” he said, his voice warm. “Though I think they’ll make a better healer than I ever could.”
You leaned against his shoulder, watching as he playfully ruffled the child’s hair. “I just thought it might make you smile.”
Jiaoqiu turned his face toward you, his gentle expression full of gratitude. “It did,” he said quietly. “Thank you—for reminding me that even in the darkness, there is light.”

just me and you // alexia putellas
Tumblr media
alexia putellas x lioness!reader
warnings: mentions of alcohol
summary: you desperately need a date to viv and beth's wedding and alexia happens to be there
word count: 1963
You look down at the white envelope in your hand, your name is written in elegant script on the front with a small smiley face that must have been added after the fact.
You smile back at it.
You don't even have to open it to know that it's for Beth's wedding but you rip it open anyway. It's the typical, we invite you to our wedding kind of stuff but what stumps you is the plus one that is given.
This is where your overthinking begins... If you don't bring anyone, you'll look a little odd but who are you supposed to bring?
The only other person at Barca that is going is Keira and she'll bring Laura.... and Ona is going to be Lucy's date and no one else knows Beth or Viv outside the professional sense.
So your options seem to reduce to no one very quickly.
You groan and throw the invitation on the coffee table before launching yourself on to the sofa, letting out a soft grunt when you hit the pillows.
God, the only way out was to meet someone before the wedding... and you had a couple of months to do so.
You begin with Tinder and promptly delete it after Ana 30 messages you for an autograph. You move on to Hinge and Bumble... you're meet with similar conservations- some ask for tickets, others for signatures. Then there are the occasional weird conversations, someone asking you whether you liked feet like they did or an in depth description of what they would 'do to you' which resulted in an immediate block.
This seemed to be going nowhere so you were about to just accept your fate and decide going alone is the best course of action until a random Tuesday training.
"So you got a date for Beth's yet?" Keira asks as she gives you a little bump with her shoulder whilst you drink your water.
You shrug and then give her a pointed look that explains everything or at least you hope it does because you don't feel like explaining all that.
She shrugs back, "You should just ask Alexia."
You snap your head to her as you spit out the water you'd been drinking- You had told her about your two year long crush on Alexia in confidence and here she was saying it out loud like it was obvious.
"What! No- absolutely not.. no just no." You sputter out, spilling water all over yourself and the grass.
Keira laughs and elbows your side to catch your attention again- you look at where or more like who she points at- It's Alexia, looking beautiful in the team issue training clothes and walking towards you.
You panic slightly, hoping she hadn't overheard your conversation since that would be a mess to sort out and your contract still had a year on it. You really didn't want to have to avoid her for a year.
"Hola." Alexia greets the two of you and bends down to collect her own water.
You mumble back a polite 'Bon dia' and look anywhere but her. Your cheeks are burning and you know you must look as red as a tomato, you pray that she doesn't notice.
Keira, who still stands next to you, elbows you again and whispers, "Just ask her, this is your chance, Y/N."
You shake your head frantically and are about to say something but Alexia beats you to it.
"What are you talking about?" Her accented English reaches your ears and you feel the tips off them heat up.
You are about to make up some excuse or just blatantly lie but Keira tells her the truth.
"We got invited to a teammates wedding and Y/N is trying to find a date but she's got no luck." Keira jokes.
You look at her with sharp eyes and then laugh lightly trying to play off your awkwardness with a smile. Alexia smiles back at you and that makes it a hundred times more difficult not to lose your cool when you notice just how radiant she looks when she smiles.
"I think I'm just gonna go alone for this one."
"What- no.." Alexia thinks for a moment, "It not bad luck to go alone?"
You bite your tongue as you try not to blush at her broken English. She was right, it was probably bad luck to go to a close friends wedding alone but you couldn't ask her... Could you?
"I go with you?"
And this time you snap your head in Alexia's direction, shock written all over your face.
"It will be fun, no?"
You nod trying to hide the growing feeling in your heart as she speaks to herself in Spanish that you don't understand.
The months pass quickly and you almost forget about the wedding altogether with Champions League games piling on top of the league and the cup adding to the stress with you trying to supress your feelings as the cherry on top of the cake.
It all comes to a halt when Alexia asks you what you plan to wear one evening after a match.
"What you wearing?" She askes, leaning against the wall as you zip your coat up, "To the wedding." She clarifies and you swear you can see blush on her cheeks but you play it off as lighting.
Your heart does a little flip when you hear her voice and then immediately sinks when you realise you haven't thought about your clothes yet.
Alexia must notice it too as suddenly her hand is on your bicep, rubbing up and down reassuringly.
"What.." You cough, trying to hide your blush, "What are you wearing?"
You try to steer the conversation away from you and it works for a brief moment.
"A dress.." She chuckles, "Maybe yellow? It will be summer, no?"
You nod, not much matches yellow and you weren't planning on wearing a dress.. no matter how hot it was going to be. Plus, did Alexia even want to match with you? It's not like... you were a couple or something.
Even though... deep down you wished you were.
"You.. wear a suit, no?" Alexia smiles at you kindly.
You snap out of your thoughts and raise your brows in shock but nod along.
"Classic is best."
And you once again find yourself nodding along and then suddenly she leans in to kiss you on the cheek as a goodbye. It makes you blush furiously and sputter out your own goodbye in horrible Spanish.
You keep her words in mind later that evening when buying your clothes, opting for black seeing as Alexia was most likely to approve of that.
But just to make sure, you send her a screenshot to which she responds with a heart, making your own one grow tight for a moment.
The wedding rolls around quicker than you'd expected.
After lifting the Champions League with Barca for the third time, you find yourself in a garden decked out with beautiful flowers and soft music playing as you wait for Viv and Beth to finish their photos after the ceremony.
Alexia returns with your drinks and you thank her as you blush. She looks beautiful, pale yellow dress fitting wonderfully into the wedding and the cut allows the most tasteful eyeful of her.
An eyeful you try not to make apparent.
You can a large gulp hoping it will calm your nerves but all you feel is the alcohol. Suddenly, you can't tell whether it's Alexia or the drink making you feel is light headed.
"You..." You start and then suddenly stop when Alexia looks at you. You blush under her gaze but continue anyway, "You look nice.. I mean beautiful... yeah really pretty.."
You wish you could smack yourself for that one but you're in a public space and Alexia is right next to you.
"Gracias." She says and you swear it's blush on her cheeks too but maybe it's just the low lighting.
She's about to continue but Leah spots you out of the corner of her eye and wanders up to you, greeting you with a tight hug.
"Was it your plan to look like a bumble bee couple or what?" She jokes and laughs.
Your eyes widen and you go to correct her but Alexia is already speaking over you.
"We think it's cute, no?" She wraps an arm around your waist and yours automatically makes it's way to her bare shoulders.
Any thoughts of denying Leah's assumption go flying out the window when Alexia is slotted into your side. Instead you happily chat away until it's time for the first dance.
The rest of the night is a whirlwind- the party is fully going now and it's safe to say that you're buzzed, if not even a little drunk after the amount you've had.
You're leaning against the bar, resting your face against the cold marble when a hand tugs you off your barstool and onto the dancefloor.
You yelp as your being dragged away from the comfort of the bar and are about to protest when you notice it's Alexia. Her hands are on your forearms and she's jumping up and down to the beat, urging you to dance along with her.
You grin, the alcohol mixing with the excitement- making all nervousness you have have had before fade away. It's now that you notice the light layer of sweat on Alexia's skin, it makes her baby hairs stick to her forehead but it makes you fall in love harder and want her that little bit more.
You feel as though your suffocating in your jacket and hot air fills your lungs every time you can a breath but you could careless if it means you get to dance with Alexia.
The same Alexia you'd fallen in love with on your first day at Barca and the same one that was with you now.
The fast dance song fades into a slow romantic one that you briefly recognise from some film and Alexia's hands slide from your arms to your shoulders prompting you to put yours on her waist.
Maybe it's the alcohol or the fact that Alexia's hands are on you again but you blurt out three words that could ruin everything, "I like you."
Alexia freezes in your arms and for a moment you think she's going to run off but instead she leans forwards to rest her head against your shoulder and chuckles into your ear.
"I know, carino,"
You laugh in shock and then she runs a hand down your nape, making you shiver with anticipation.
"I like you too... a lot." Alexia admits whilst the two of you sway gently to the music.
For an instant, it's like there is no one else but her and so you lean back to look at her before putting your lips on hers.
The kiss is as sweet as you expected it to be- you can taste the alcohol on her tongue and you're sure she can taste it on yours but it doesn't matter because she's kissing you back.
Your hands tighten on her waist, trying to keep you both upright as she kisses you back passionately. You hear a whistle in the background that sounds a lot like Lucy's but you ignore it.
Instead, when the kiss breaks apart, you lean your head on her shoulder and find yourself relaxing when she doesn't pull away from you.
You whisper sweetly into her ear, "It was like.. there was just me and you for a moment then.."
You can feel Alexia smile and it makes your heart tighten like it's about to explode. Knowing that she felt it too.

Physics has never been your favorite subject. You’ve always passed this subject with luck. No matter how much time you spent studying it, it was always bad. When you graduated from school you went to college. You didn’t expect that there will be also physics.
You are in your first year of study and you are doing very well in your studies. Unfortunately, you are only stopped by unfortunate physics. You're writing exams in a few weeks and that includes this subject.
You studied at night, took notes and even concentrated a lot during the lectures but it didn't do anything. You just think and know that you don’t have the talent for it.
*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊
One evening you called your mom. You do it often because you are living now in a dormitory with your friend.
Your university is far from your home so you had to move away. Due to your studies, you don’t have much time to visit your family, so you often call them.
You talked with your mom. She knows very well about your troubles with physics. She told you that she knows someone who could tutor you.
At first you weren't too convinced by her idea, but nevertheless you knew that she wants good for you, and you guess this will be your last hope.
You found out from her that your tutor was to be a man who teaches physics at the school, and his name is Jaeyun. According to your mom, he taught her friend's son and he passed his exams 100%. She gave you his phone number and you wrote down.
Later in the evening after studying you were laying in bed. You mindlessly scrolled through social media on your phone. You were reminded that you need to call or text to this tutor.
You were wondering if this is a good idea. What if it's just a waste of time and money for you and you don't learn anything? Or worse it will be some old man who God knows what he will do to you?
But on the other hand, he was recommended by your mom so you trust her.
You chose his number. You didn’t want to call him so you wrote a short message:
YN: Hi, I’m YN! My mom gave me your number because you supposedly tutor physics
You were surprised how quickly he texted back:
Jaeyun: Hey! Yes, I tutor! if you want, we can arrange when to meet :)
You read his message and immediately wrote back:
YN: okay, we can even meet tomorrow if it suits you
Jaeyun: what about 6 pm?
YN: of course, it suit me!
You didn't know it would go so easily. You agreed on where to meet and decided to meet at his house. It turned out that he lives near your dormitory so you had a good commute to his place. With thoughts of tomorrow's tutoring, you fell asleep.
*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊
You enter the apartment building where he lives. You have to admit that it’s very luxurious here and these apartments must have been very expensive. You ride the elevator and you are stressed.
It occurred to you that you have never really seen him. What if he turns out to be some kind of weirdos and you never leave his apartment again?
You walk unsteadily down the corridor and your brain is filled with thoughts. You stand in front of his apartment and softly knock on the door.
He opens the door. And my God before your eyes appeared the most handsome man you have ever seen.
He is wearing a black shirt that has two buttons unbuttoned and through this you can see that he is wearing a silver necklace, glasses in which he looks like a nerd and has lovely black slightly disheveled hair
And his face?? Goddamn,he looks like he’s some kind of Greek goddess. For all you know he's about 30 years old but he looks younger.
You know in advance that you won't learn much from his tutoring, and you won’t be able to focus since he looks too good.
You stand for a moment literally staring at him until you are shaken by his voice and he says calmly with a slight smile "Hi, are you YN?"
And when you heard his Australian accent? You literally went wild. He has the hottest voice you've ever heard.
You look at him and nod ,, yes, it’s me”
Jaeyun lets you in and you leave your shoes in the hallway. You have to admit that his apartment looks very expensive. Everything is very modern and looks new. You honestly like it a lot. It was clear that he lives alone, but this surprised you because how can such a handsome man be single?
You sat side by side in the living room at the table. You pulled out a physics book when Jaeyun said ,,so I haven't switched to you yet. I'm Sim Jaeyun but just can call me Jake”
You look at him the whole time and smile softly. Then you show him all the topics you were struggling with in physics.
,,okay, let’s start from the beginning. I will try to explain you as simply as possible”
Jake looks through your physics book and when you look at his big, veiny hands. You are getting wet. You wonder how you would feel if he choked or fingered you with them.
He starts to explain the subject to you. For the first half hour you listen and even start to understand something because he explains to you in a very simple and interesting way.
But then you are more and more distracted. You rest your elbow on the table and put your head on your hand. you look or rather stare at him.
He is so damn attractive. And also the fact that he is so smart makes you more and more horny for him. You really want to fuck with him.
,,is everything okay?” You hear his voice, which wakes you up from your fantasies about him. Probably he noticed that you’re not focused. You quickly straighten up and you say perplexed
,, yes..”
Jake smirks slightly and your heart beats faster. He starts dictating a note to you and you write it down. When he finish speaking he lean toward you. You immediately smell his perfume. He smells so good.
He is so close that you can practically hear his breath.Your heart beats even faster if it’s possible. Out of the corner of his eye he looks at you
Something tells you that he did it on purpose. You can sense it in the tension between you.
He leans back but you have the impression that the chairs you are sitting on are getting closer to each other.
After the tutoring, you leave his house. And damn, you already know that you may not learn much physics, but Jake is the most handsome and charming man you've ever seen and you need to do something about it.
On the other hand, Jake thinks about you the same. When he saw first saw you he thought that you are the prettiest girl he has ever seen. He is not stupid he noticed how you look at him. But for now he will tease you and see what comes out of it
*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊
It's been two weeks since your first meeting and Jake is tutoring you several times a week.
Through each meeting you became closer and closer to each other . Often you dont talk only about physics but about normal topics and got to know each other.
You found out a lot of things about him. For example, he born and when he was younger he lived in Australia or that he graduated with two degrees. You have to admit that he’s really interesting and smart (plus very sexy hehe)
The other thing that is not hard to miss is the huge sexual tension between you two. Small and seemingly random touches light a fire in your body.
For example, Jake just happened to want to turn a page in a book at the time you did, and then your hands would touch, or he would claim he couldn't hear you and move your chair closer to his even though you were sitting very close.
On purpose when you go to him you put on more and more skimpy clothes. You see his gaze linger a little too long on your figure, or how he look at your lips instead of your eyes when he explains something to you.
You both know very well that you want each other. however, neither Jake nor you have made any concrete move yet. You are exhausted by this and you are thinking of doing something about it.
*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊
You sit next to each other on chairs. Today is your pre-last tutoring before the exam. However, you care more about making something happen between you. You've been horny for him since you first met him. You don't want to wait any longer.
You wore shorter skirt than usual and sweater today. You saw Jake watching you when you entered his apartment.
He explains some task to you although you don’t listen to him at all. You look at him as if he were the prettiest painting you've ever seen.
His eyebrows are slightly drawn together and he looks at you intensely. He speaks slowly and tries to explain everything in the simplest but most accurate way possible. His lips look so pretty and enticing.
You got the impression that he looks even hotter today than last time. His T-shirt showed perfectly his veins on his arms and he had different glasses than last time which perfectly highlighted his nose.
,,YN, are you even listening to me?”
You see that he bites his lip-you have noticed that this is his habit and sometimes he does it unintentionally. He raises his eyebrow and looks at you.
,, yes, I’m listening but I'm a little distracted” you answer and you look at his plump lips.
His smile widens and he looks deeply into your eyes. He asks curiously even though he knows exactly what is on your mind ,, What got you so distracted?”
You look at him and delicate blush appears on your cheeks. You know that this is your chance ,, I don’t know. I guess I've had enough of the physics. I need a break”
Jake looks at you intently and he answers calmly ,, okay, as you wish princess”
When you hear him say the pet name so naturally you get butterflies in your stomach. You lay finger on your lips and you play with your lip. You smile at him and you don’t break eye contact.
Jake when he watches you he loses his temper. He knows that he has to do something ,, c’mere, sit on my lap”
You listen to him and you sit on his lap. You put your hands behind his neck You get hot when you are so close. You look at his lips and then at his eyes. Jake notices this and grins ,,what happened, baby? Would you like to kiss me?”
You bite your lip slightly and Jake gently touches your lips with his finger while looking at them carefully. He wonders how pretty they would look around his dick.
Jake brings his face to yours and gently brushes his lips against yours. You begin to kiss each other subtly and sweetly. You have chills down your spine.
You deepen the kiss, you feel Jake exploring your lip with his tongue and you moan quietly into his mouth. You think that you've never felt so good when someone kissed you before
His hands moved sensually over your body. You felt his erection grow beneath you. You deliberately began to wriggle in his lap.
All the time you didn’t pull away from the kiss. It was more and more passionate and hot between you. You hear Jake begin to moan silently.
You pull away from the kiss and you feel Jake's hands on your waist. You whisper "bedroom"
Jake immediately knows what you're about and takes you in his arms. All the way to his bedroom you kiss and don’t take your hands off each other. When you enter the room Jake puts you on his bed.
He looks at you,his eyes darken and he delights ,,fuck baby, you look so pretty under me”
Your flushed face, reddened lips from an earlier passionate kiss and teasing smile arouses something in him. He thinks he's about to go crazy
His cock grows in his pants just because he looks at you. He thinks you're so cute when you're lying underneath him and so desperate for him.
,,Jake.., please do something” you beg him when you notice that jake is staring at you. And you honestly love it but you are desperate and need his touch.
,,for you everything, princess” he starts kissing and gently nibbling your neck. You moaned quietly in pleasure when he did it . You already know that he will leave marks on your neck
Jake begins to lift your t-shirt and looks at you with a questioning gaze asking for your permission. You nod and he pulls down your t-shirt and then your bra. He gently touches one of your nipples and licks and nibbles the other with his tongue.
You groan at the feeling. No one has ever touched you as good as jake. You squirm and whine.
Jake notices this how desperate you are. You are such a mess underneath him but he loves it. Your moans for him are like the prettiest voice he has ever heard.
He smiles, raises an eyebrow when he looks at you and says teasingly ,,tell me sweetie, where do you want me to touch you?”
You moan and look up at him. His disheveled hair from your touch, his mean grin and plump reddened lips make your pussy drip even more.
,,please… I need your month and fingers in my pussy”
Smile from his face doesn’t disappear when you beg him so nicely. He gently pulls down your skirt and you are left in just your panties. He lies down between your thighs and he puts your legs over his shoulders.
He slowly touches your clit with two fingers through your panties. He sees the wet spot on them and says in a deep voice ,, Your pussy is so wet and eager just for me, isn't it?”
,,o-only for you jakey…” you answer and keep your hands firmly on the sheet. Jake pulls down your panties and begins to touch your clit with one finger. he deliberately and gently moves his finger from top to bottom. You gasp and squirm.
,, jakey pleasee….. I need more”
At your request, he inserts two fingers into your cunt and you moan at the feeling when jake purrs ,,mmm, your pussy is so tight around my fingers”
Jake quickly and thoroughly fingers you and then adds his mouth. He starts eating your pussy like a hungry man. You moan loudly at the sensation.
He licks and nibbles your clit with his tongue and on top of that he fingers you with three fingers. He hits all the spots perfectly
,,fuck, you taste so sweet”
You have never felt so good before. You roll your eyes and hold your hands tightly in his hair. All you can hear in the room are your cries of his name and the wet sounds of your pussy as he inserts his fingers into you.
You feel that you are about to come, and you know that it will be the most intense orgasm you have ever experienced ,, fuck, jake… I-I feel s-soo goodd!!”
You moan and scream. Your back arches as you feel the knot in your stomach can burst at any moment. He doesn't stop. He starts fingering you even harder as far as possible perfectly reaching your G-spot.
,, jakeeee!!!! I’m cumming!!!!!” You scream when you cum at his face and fingers. You shout his name all the time. you have never came so intensely just because someone fingered and ate you out.
Your legs are shaking. ,, fuck doll, you’re so pretty when you cum on me” You feel Jake licking all your juices from your pussy and you moan quietly at the sensation.
You catch eye contact. you see that jake has your juices on his lips and nose. Damn, he looks so hot. You slowly sit up and jake draws you in for a passionate and desperate kiss.
You desire each other further so much. You taste yourself on his tongue. You start touching his cock through his pants and he quietly moans at the sensation
You pull away from the kiss and want to pay him back. However, he has other plans and says as he pulls off his shirt ,, baby, another time, I have to fuck you now”
You are breathing hard and your pussy is wet again just by his words. Jake gets up from the bed and pulls down his pants and boxers. You watch his every move.
And oh God. You’ve never seen a prettier body. He looks like he is some kind of god. He is athletic and you can see that he spends a lot of time in the gym.
And his cock? He is big, thick and stringy. You yourself don't know how your little pussy will take it all in.
He sees you staring at him and raises an eyebrow and smiles ,,hmm honey, do you like what you see?"
You nod and practically drool over him. He crouches in front of you on the bed and puts your legs over his shoulders. He pumps his cock a few time.
He holds your wrists behind your head and says seductively in a deep voice ,, will you be my good girl and you’ll take all my cook in your little pussy?”
your pussy is already so soaked for the second time and you want him to fuck you already. in a shaky voice you answer ,, yes!!! Please…. Fuck mee!”
His cock stands and when he hears you wanting him he puts the tip into your pussy. You moan at the feeling. He slowly enters further. You roll your eyes and moan his name.
Jake feels how warm and tight you are around him and thinks he could come already. He lays his head on your shoulder and breathes hard as he starts to move
,,mmmm j-jakeyy..” You moan as his cock thrusts into your pussy at a steady pace. Never before has anyone fucked you as well as he has. His big cock hits deep inside you in places you didn't know existed.
,,mhmm.. you feel so fucking full” He teases and and thrusts firmly into you ,, I'm sure you've wanted to have your tutor's cock pushed deep into your pussy for a long time”
You know you won't last long when he fucks you too good. You scream and purr louder and louder by the second.
He keeps his hands on your hips thrusting into you harder and harder. His cock twitches inside you and he knows he is close now
,,princess, you feel so good” He fucks you hard and fast. And whispers dirty words in your ear. He starts kissing your neck and massaging your clit. You moan his name loudly and feel that your second orgasm will be even more intense than the first.
Your lips part. You cum and squirts around his dick. You close your eyes and you feel ecstasy. Jake, meanwhile, loudly moans your name and asks in a shaky voice ,, Can I fill you up? Your pussy will be all filled in my cum”
,, yes-ss, pleaseee!!”you moan when you feel that jake paints your walls with his cum and pounding into you one last time
You breathe loudly as you feel Jake gently come out of you. cum from your pussy spills onto his bed sheets.
Jake goes into the bathroom and brings a towel to wipe the mess between your legs. Then he puts the towel on the floor.
You lie in his bed and wonder what will happen next. Jake sits down next to you and asks sweetly ,,are you feeling okay?"
You look at him and when you see how he cares for you your pulse speeds up.
You think you already know that you are in love with him.
,, yes Jake, it was amazing” you answer with a soft and tired smile. His smile widens and he lies down next to you. He opens his arms and you move closer to him.
You lie in each other's arms. Jake leaves kisses on your shoulder and cheek. there is a comfortable silence between you. Suddenly Jake speaks up ,,how about when you pass your physics exam I will take you out on a date?"
You raise an eyebrow and answer ,,it sounds amazing, but why wait until the exam?”
Jake giggles quietly and says bringing his lips closer to yours
,,it will be your prize baby”

a/n : omg fun to write is actually an understatement. i hope it turned out fun to read :) also for my pookie @writhyv
queueing : just a boy - alaina castillo,
— wc : 6.6 — not proof read —
you don't really care about parties. they're loud, crowded, and always filled with people trying too hard. but minju drags you along anyway, insisting that you need to "experience the university nightlife" at least once.
"come on, it'll be fun," she says, looping her arm through yours. "plus, jisung bailed on me, and i am not third-wheeling jake and his situationship all night."
so now you're here, standing awkwardly in the corner of a frat house, gripping a red solo cup filled with something that smells suspiciously like gasoline. minju is already off somewhere, talking to a girl from her english class, and you're left to watch as people dance, drink, and make questionable decisions.
"you look miserable," a voice says from beside you.
you turn and come face to face with park jongseong, jay, as everyone calls him. you know his name, even if you've never spoken before. he's older, popular, and has a reputation that follows him everywhere he goes.
flirt. player. fuckboy.
minju has warned you about him. "he's hot, yeah, but he's the kind of guy who doesn't do relationships. he flirts, hooks up, and moves on. trust me, i've seen it happen."
but none of that matters, because you have no plans to entertain him.
jay grins at you, leaning against the wall like he owns the place. he's got that easy confidence, the kind that comes with knowing he's attractive and that people want him.
"not a fan of parties?" he asks, tilting his head.
you shrug. "not really."
he chuckles. "then why are you here?"
"minju."
his eyebrows raise slightly. "you know minju?"
"from high school." you say, keeping your answers short.
"interesting," he muses, eyes scanning your face like he's trying to place you somewhere in his memory. he doesn't seem to recognize you, though, which isn't surprising. you've never exactly run in the same circles.
"so," he says, shifting closer. "wanna dance?"
it's not a question, not really. it's the kind of offer people don't usually refuse, not when it comes from him. jay park doesn't get turned down.
but you just blink at him and say, "no, thanks."
his smile falters, just for a second, before he recovers. "really? you sure? i promise i'm a good dancer."
"i'm sure." you say with a fake smile, giving off the vibe that you’re annoyed
he lets out a soft laugh, like he can't believe you're actually rejecting him. his ego must be bruised, but he hides it well, still looking at you with interest.
"alright," he says, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "then how about a drink? i can get you something better than… whatever that is." he nods at your cup.
"i'm good."
"wow," he murmurs, shaking his head in amusement. "you're really not making this easy for me, huh?"
"should i?"
he grins, running a hand through his dark hair. "most people do."
"well, i'm not most people."
jay studies you for a moment, like he's trying to figure out why you're different. why you're not reacting the way everyone else does. you don't bat your lashes at him, don't giggle or play into his flirting. and for some reason, instead of turning him away, it only seems to intrigue him more.
"i like you," he says suddenly.
you roll your eyes. "you don't even know me."
"not yet," he agrees, "but i’d like to."
there's something almost playful in his voice, but you know better. jay isn’t interested in getting to know people. he's interested in chasing, in winning. and right now, you’re just another game to him.
"keep liking me from a distance," you say, brushing past him.
you don’t look back, but you feel his eyes on you as you walk away.
for the first time in his life, park jongseong has been rejected. and somehow, you think that only makes him more determined.
you don't think much about your encounter with jay. to you, it was just another conversation at a party, one you barely wanted to be at in the first place.
but apparently, jay thinks otherwise.
it starts with small things.
you see him at the campus café, where he just so happens to show up right behind you in line.
"oh, hey," he says casually, as if running into you is pure coincidence.
you glance at him, unimpressed. "hey."
"what are you getting?"
you turn back to the menu. "haven't decided."
"let me guess," he hums, tapping a finger against his chin like he's solving some great mystery. "you seem like a caramel macchiato kind of person."
you raise a brow. "what does that even mean?"
jay grins, leaning in slightly. "sweet, but a little bitter if you get on their bad side."
"so basically, you're guessing."
"i call it an educated guess," he says, nodding at the cashier. "get one. my treat."
"no, thanks."
he lets out a dramatic sigh. "you really don't like accepting things from me, huh?"
"nope."
instead of looking discouraged, jay just watches as you place your order, an iced americano, completely different from what he guessed.
he chuckles. "so i was way off."
"yup."
you take your drink and leave without another word. jay doesn’t follow, but you swear you feel his stare on your back as you walk away.
it keeps happening.
and then, one afternoon, you’re sitting under a tree, trying to get through an assignment, when someone drops into the grass beside you.
"you always look so serious," jay muses.
you don’t even glance up. "because i'm trying to focus."
"right, right." he leans back on his hands. "but don't you ever take a break?"
"nope."
"come on," he nudges your knee with his. "five minutes won't kill you."
you sigh, finally looking at him. "do you need something?"
jay flashes you that same easy grin, the one that probably gets him whatever he wants. "just your company."
"i think you’ll survive without it."
he clutches his chest dramatically. "ouch. you wound me."
"you’ll live."
jay just laughs, shaking his head. "you know, you’re making this really difficult."
"making what difficult?"
"getting to know you."
"who said i wanted you to?"
he stares at you for a moment, eyes glinting with something unreadable. then, instead of answering, he stands up and dusts himself off.
"alright," he says, shoving his hands into his pockets. "guess i’ll try again tomorrow."
before you can process his words, he's already walking away.
"okay, what is going on?" minju asks a few days later, sliding into the seat across from you in the dining hall.
"what do you mean?"
she gestures dramatically. "you and jay. he keeps staring at you. he keeps showing up wherever you are."
"it's just a coincidence."
"coincidence my ass," she huffs. "he’s interested."
"interested in what? flirting with someone who doesn’t want to flirt back?"
"exactly!" minju exclaims. "he's never been rejected before! you’re like. like. his first loss."
"not a loss," you correct. "just… not a win."
"same thing in his mind." she leans in, eyes narrowing. "be honest. do you like him?"
you snort. "no."
"not even a little?"
"minju, he flirts with anything that breathes."
"true," she concedes, stabbing a piece of her salad. "but he’s never tried this hard before."
you roll your eyes. "and that’s exactly why i’m not interested. he only wants what he can’t have."
"so you think if you gave in, he’d lose interest?"
"obviously. but it’s not like i want him to be interested in the first place,”
but what you don’t see is jay, sitting at another table with jake and heeseung, watching you from across the room.
"so," heeseung says, "still trying?"
jay sips his drink, not looking away. "yup."
jake shakes his head, laughing. "dude, you're obsessed."
"i'm not obsessed," jay scoffs. "i'm just… interested."
heeseung raises a brow. "in what? winning?"
jay pauses. that should be the answer. that’s how it always is. he flirts, he wins, he moves on. but this time, it feels different.
"i dunno," he mutters, eyes still locked on you. "but i wanna find out."
and just like that, park jongseong makes it his mission to make you fall for him.
whether you want to or not.
you’re starting to think the universe has a cruel sense of humor.
there’s no other explanation for why jay park keeps showing up everywhere you go.
first, it’s the café… again. you stop by for your usual iced americano, and there he is, leaning against the counter like he has all the time in the world. when he sees you, his lips curl into a smirk.
"you stalking me now?" he teases.
you blink at him. "this is literally my usual spot."
"yeah?" he muses, stepping aside so you can order. "funny. seems like it’s mine now too."
you ignore him and pay for your drink, but as you turn to leave, he suddenly holds out a muffin. "here."
you frown. "what is this?"
"peace offering," he says. "for annoying you so much."
"i don't want it."
jay tuts, shaking his head. "harsh. you don’t like sweets?"
"i don’t like you."
he laughs, completely unbothered. "that’s not true. you just won’t admit you think i’m funny."
you roll your eyes and walk past him, but not before he calls out, "see you around!"
unfortunately, he’s right.
the second time, it’s the library.
you’re sitting at a table, halfway through an essay, when someone slides into the seat across from you.
you don’t need to look up. "seriously?"
jay rests his chin on his palm, grinning. "seriously."
"do you even study?"
"i do now." he gestures to his laptop, which, sure enough, is open.
you sigh and turn back to your work, ignoring him completely. for the first ten minutes, he’s quiet, and you start to think maybe—just maybe—he’s actually here to study.
but then he leans forward. "you always this focused?"
"yes."
"cute," he murmurs, just loud enough for you to hear.
you finally look at him, unimpressed. "why are you here?"
"what, a guy can’t expand his knowledge?"
"you haven’t typed a single word."
jay glances at his screen, where his essay is blank. he shrugs. "i’m thinking."
"about what?"
"about how long it’s gonna take for you to admit you like having me around."
you let out a slow breath, standing up and gathering your things. "good luck with that."
"where you going?"
"somewhere quiet."
jay watches you leave, the smirk never leaving his face.
you think that’s the end of it.
until your professor assigns a group project.
"you’ll be working in pairs," she says. "check the list for your partner."
you scan the names, looking for yours, and freeze.
park jongseong.
"you’ve got to be kidding me," you mutter.
"what?" minju asks, peering over your shoulder. then she snorts. "oh. wow. the universe really has it out for you."
you groan, dropping your head onto the desk.
"who’d you get?"
you glance up to see jisung standing beside you, holding his own paper.
"jay," minju answers for you.
jisung grimaces. "yikes."
"yep."
before you can say anything else, someone taps your shoulder.
"guess we’re partners," jay says, voice far too amused.
you sigh. "don’t remind me.”
working with jay is… not as painful as you expected.
you still don’t like him. obviously. but he’s not completely useless.
turns out, he’s actually smart. and organized. he doesn’t slack off or make you do all the work. and—annoyingly—he’s kind of funny.
you realize this when you’re both at the library, bouncing ideas off each other.
"okay, so we could go with this topic," you say, scrolling through the research.
jay hums. "or we could pick something that won’t make me want to throw myself off a building."
you bite back a smile. "dramatic much?"
"you’re underestimating my ability to get bored."
"i think that’s just your problem."
jay gasps, placing a hand over his chest. "ouch. i thought we were bonding."
"we’re working."
"same thing."
you shake your head, but you don’t argue.
slowly, things shift.
you still tell yourself that jay is just playing a game. but sometimes, you catch him looking at you—really looking—and for a moment, it doesn’t feel like one.
like when you’re at the library, and you yawn without thinking.
"tired?" he asks.
"obviously."
without a word, he slides his drink toward you.
you blink. "what—"
"it’s an americano," he says simply.
you hesitate, then take a sip. "it’s sweet."
jay shrugs. "i like sugar."
you give him a look. "so you were way off when you guessed my order last time."
he grins. "guess so."
you shake your head, but you don’t push the drink back.
"okay, so he’s not the worst person alive," you admit later.
minju stares at you. "who are you and what have you done with my friend?"
"i’m serious," you say. "he’s… fine. actually kind of helpful."
minju sighs. "that’s how it starts."
"how what starts?"
"you start thinking he’s not that bad. then, before you know it, you’re catching feelings."
"i’m not catching anything."
she gives you a look. "just be careful, okay? he’s only this persistent because you’re the first person to say no."
you nod, but her words stick in your head.
you tell yourself you don’t care.
but then one night, you’re leaving the library, and jay is waiting outside.
"walking alone at this hour?" he muses. "dangerous."
you raise an eyebrow. "and you’re what? my bodyguard?"
jay smirks. "i could be."
"no thanks."
"still," he says, falling into step beside you. "i’ll walk you back."
"you don’t have to."
"i know."
you sigh, but you let him.
the walk is quiet, save for the sound of your footsteps. when you reach your building, you stop.
"this is me," you say.
jay nods. "guess i’ll see you tomorrow."
"guess so."
he hesitates, then lifts a hand, ruffling your hair before you can react.
you blink. "what the—"
he just grins. "goodnight."
then he’s gone, leaving you standing there, heart doing something it definitely shouldn’t be doing.
this is bad.
really bad.
the next party is loud, too loud. music shakes the floor, conversations overlap, and the air is thick with the scent of alcohol and sweat. you don’t even know why you’re here.
well. you do.
minju dragged you out, saying you’ve been too cooped up with schoolwork and your stupid group project (which, unfortunately, includes jay park). jisung backed her up, insisting you needed to “socialize like a normal human being.”
so now you’re here, standing in the corner of someone’s crowded apartment, gripping a half-empty cup of soda because you don’t drink, and pretending you’re interested in whatever minju is talking about.
until you see him.
jay.
you tell yourself you shouldn’t be surprised. parties are his thing, after all. loud music, dim lighting, a sea of people who’d fall into his arms without hesitation.
he fits right in.
too well.
you spot him across the room, leaning against the wall, that lazy smirk on his lips. there’s a girl beside him, standing too close, laughing at something he just said. she tilts her head, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. jay doesn’t move away.
he says something else, something that makes her giggle, and then he leans in,,, just a little.
your stomach twists.
it’s stupid. so, so stupid.
this is what he does. this is who he is. he flirts with everyone. you’ve seen it before. you knew this about him before he even knew your name.
but tonight, it bothers you.
you don’t know why, and you don’t want to think about it.
"you okay?" minju asks, nudging your arm.
"yeah," you say too quickly. "just… tired."
she eyes you but doesn’t press. "wanna leave soon?"
you nod. "yeah."
but before you can say anything else, you feel a presence beside you.
"hey," a familiar voice says.
you turn, and there he is.
jay.
his smirk is gone.
"what do you want?" you ask, not in the mood for whatever game he’s playing tonight.
he hesitates, glancing at minju, then back at you. "can we talk?"
"no."
he sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. "please?"
minju looks between the two of you, then slowly backs away. "i’ll be over there," she says, pointing to jisung.
you cross your arms. "what?"
jay doesn’t answer right away. instead, he exhales, then jerks his head toward the door. "outside?"
you should say no. you should walk away. but there’s something in his eyes, something that makes your chest feel too tight, so you follow him out.
the cool night air is a relief against your heated skin. outside, the noise is muffled, distant, like the party belongs to a different world.
you stop a few steps away from the door, crossing your arms. "well?"
jay shoves his hands into his pockets. "you looked upset."
you scoff. "why do you care?"
"because," he says, stepping closer, "i do."
you laugh, but it’s humorless. "you flirt with someone else, then come running after me? what is this, jay?"
his jaw tightens. "it’s not like that."
"really? because it sure as hell looked like it."
"you think i do this with everyone?" his voice is sharper now, frustration leaking through. "yeah, i flirt, but this, whatever this is, is different, and you know it."
your breath catches.
different.
he said it first.
but that doesn’t change anything.
"do i?" you challenge. "because it looks exactly the same to me."
jay groans, running a hand through his hair. "i didn’t even realize what i was doing."
"that’s not making this better."
"i know!" he snaps. "i just—fuck."
he exhales, tilting his head back like he’s trying to find the right words in the sky. then, softer, he says, "it’s a habit, okay? flirting, keeping things surface-level. that’s just how i’ve always been."
you swallow, suddenly unsure. "then why are you here?"
jay takes another step forward, close enough that you can see the tension in his shoulders, the crease in his brows.
"because i don’t want this to be surface-level," he admits. "not with you."
the words knock the air out of your lungs.
for a moment, neither of you speak.
then you say, "so what? you want me to believe that you’re suddenly different?"
"i don’t know," he admits. "but i know i don’t want to fuck this up."
you stare at him, at the raw honesty in his expression.
this is dangerous territory.
you should walk away.
you don’t.
but then you think about that girl inside, the way he leaned in so easily, the way it took him this long to come after you.
"you say that," you murmur, voice quieter now, "but you still went back to your usual thing the second i wasn’t around."
jay flinches.
"it didn’t mean anything," he says, quickly, desperately. "i wasn’t even thinking about her."
"exactly," you say bitterly. "you weren’t thinking at all."
jay opens his mouth, then closes it.
"you don’t even realize what you’re doing," you continue, voice tight. "you don’t realize how easily you slip into old habits. you say this is different, but are you sure?"
"yes," jay says, without hesitation.
you laugh, but it’s broken. "then why do i feel like i’m just setting myself up to get hurt?"
he doesn’t have an answer for that.
silence stretches between you, heavy and suffocating.
jay looks like he wants to say something, to fix this somehow, but what is there to fix? he’s still the same jay park who flirts with everyone, who doesn’t think before he acts, who only realizes too late that he might actually care.
"you’re not ready for this," you whisper.
"i am," he insists, but there’s something fragile in his voice, something that tells you even he isn’t sure if he’s telling the truth.
you shake your head. "i don’t think you are."
jay reaches out, just a little, like he wants to touch you, like he wants you to stay.
but you step back.
his hand drops.
and with that, you turn around and walk away.
jay doesn’t call after you.
he doesn’t chase you this time.
and maybe that tells you everything you need to know.
you avoid him.
it’s not hard at first. you’re in different years, different circles. you stop going to the café where you know he likes to hang out between classes, ignore the parties minju tries to drag you to, and duck your head whenever you spot him on campus.
the only problem is that jay notices.
you’re not sure when it happens, but at some point, jay park—fuckboy, campus heartbreaker, the guy who shouldn’t care—is suddenly watching you.
you feel it in the way his eyes linger too long when you pass by in the hallway, in the way his conversations falter when you’re around, in the way his whole demeanor shifts whenever you deliberately turn away.
he doesn’t chase after you.
but he’s not ignoring it, either.
and that’s what makes it worse.
it would be easier if he didn’t care, if he went right back to flirting with someone else like nothing ever happened. but he doesn’t.
and that terrifies you.
so you run faster.
"okay, what is wrong with you?"
jay exhales sharply, gripping the pool cue tighter. "nothing."
"bullshit."
heeseung snatches the stick out of his hands before he can even attempt a shot. jay scowls, reaching for it, but heeseung just leans away.
"bro, you’ve been in the worst mood for, like, a week," jake says, spinning an unmarked beer bottle between his fingers. "just admit it."
jay glares. "admit what?"
heeseung rolls his eyes. "that you’re being a little bitch about this whole thing."
jay scoffs. "about what?"
"oh my god," jake groans. "are you in denial, or just stupid?"
jay clenches his jaw. "neither."
heeseung and jake share a look, and jay hates that they’re silently communicating in that annoying, knowing way that only best friends do.
"listen," heeseung starts, "you don’t do feelings. we get it. but this? whatever’s happening between you and—"
"don’t say their name," jay mutters, looking away.
heeseung smirks. "oh, so you do care?"
jay exhales, tilting his head back against the worn leather of the booth.
fuck.
he doesn’t know what this is.
he just knows that it sucks.
he didn’t think avoiding them would be a big deal. people walk away from him all the time, sometimes before he can even do it first.
but this?
this feels different.
it feels like something is missing. like something is slipping through his fingers and he’s too fucking slow to catch it.
"you don’t even like people," jake points out.
jay sighs. "i like you guys."
"yeah, but we don’t count," heeseung snorts. "we’re basically required to deal with your bullshit."
jay scoffs, shoving his shoulder, but heeseung just grins.
then, quieter, he says, "this is the first time you’ve actually looked miserable over someone."
jay doesn’t answer.
"so what are you gonna do about it?" jake asks.
jay exhales, drumming his fingers against the table.
he doesn’t know.
but he knows he can’t keep pretending this is nothing.
not anymore.
you don’t know why you look.
it’s just a normal afternoon. you’re heading toward the library, minju walking beside you, talking about something jisung said earlier.
and then you see him.
jay is standing near the campus courtyard, golden light catching the sharp edges of his jawline. he’s not alone.
there’s a girl with him. she’s standing close—too close. her hand is on his arm, fingers curling lightly around the sleeve of his jacket. she laughs at something he says, head tilting, eyes locked on his.
and jay?
jay just smiles.
it’s the same smile you’ve seen before, the same effortless charm, the same easy confidence that has made him a campus legend. he leans in slightly, talking low, his posture relaxed like he’s done this a thousand times.
because he has.
your chest tightens.
"hey, you okay?" minju asks beside you, nudging your arm.
you snap your gaze away, pulse quickening. you shouldn’t care. you knew what he was like before you even met him. you knew he flirted with anyone he found attractive, that he never had to try, that he never faced rejection.
you knew he was never meant to be serious.
so why does it feel like something inside you is caving in?
"yeah," you mumble. "just remembered something i have to do."
minju frowns, but you don’t give her a chance to question it. before she can say anything, you turn and walk the other way, ignoring the burning feeling in your chest.
you don’t look back.
and jay doesn’t notice you leaving.
yet, jay can tell something’s wrong.
he doesn’t know what it is, but he can feel it.
it’s in the way you won’t look at him, the way you walk past him like he’s just another face in the crowd.
at first, he thinks he’s imagining it. you were never friends to begin with—maybe you were just busy, maybe this is normal.
but the shift is undeniable.
before, you’d at least acknowledge him. you’d give him a polite nod, a passing glance, sometimes even a subtle eyeroll when you caught him flirting.
now?
nothing.
he sees you on campus, and you don’t even flinch.
he walks past your usual café, and you’re not there.
he catches you in the library and for a second. just a second. he swears you meet his gaze.
but then you turn away.
like he’s not even there.
he doesn’t plan to confront you.
but after a week of this, of whatever this is, he finds himself standing outside your dorm, hands shoved in his pockets, frustration bubbling under his skin.
he doesn’t even know why he’s here.
it’s not like you owe him anything.
but still, he knocks.
no answer.
he exhales sharply, rocking back on his heels, debating whether to try again.
then, he hears footsteps.
"what are you doing here?"
jay turns, finding jisung standing a few feet away, arms crossed.
"looking for y/n," jay says. "they’ve been… acting weird."
jisung raises an eyebrow. "and you just noticed?"
jay frowns. "what’s that supposed to mean?"
jisung exhales, shaking his head. "they saw you," he says simply.
jay’s stomach tightens. "...what?"
"the other day. in the courtyard. with that girl."
jay blinks, the memory slotting into place. shit.
"they saw you smiling at her," jisung continues, his voice even but firm. "letting her touch you. looking at her the way they thought—" he stops himself, sighing. "never mind."
jay’s pulse kicks up. "you think they—"
"they think they were stupid for believing you might actually be different with them," jisung cuts in, sharper now. "they think they almost fell for the same bullshit you pull on everyone else."
jay clenches his jaw.
fuck.
he wasn’t thinking. he didn’t even realize.
but now, remembering the moment, the way the girl had laughed, the way she had leaned in, the way he hadn’t pulled away—
he understands.
and it feels like he just lost something important without even knowing he had it.
"if you’re gonna say something, make it worth their time," jisung says. "because right now? they don’t want anything to do with you."
jay doesn’t answer.
because for the first time in his life, he’s the one who got it wrong.
he’s the one who let something real slip through his fingers.
and he has no idea how to fix it.
but he knows one thing—
he has to try.
you don’t expect him to be waiting for you.
it’s late. you just finished a study session with minju, and all you want is to go back to your dorm, crawl under the covers, and forget about everything—forget about him.
but as soon as you step into the dimly lit hallway leading to your room, you see him.
jay.
leaning against the wall, hands in his pockets, jaw tight, eyes dark with something unreadable.
your heart stutters.
you hesitate, debating whether to turn around, pretend you didn’t see him. but then he looks up—really looks at you—and you know there’s no escape.
"we need to talk," he says, pushing off the wall.
fuck jisung for letting him in.
"i don’t think we do," you mutter, stepping past him, reaching for your door.
but before you can, jay moves, his hand catching your wrist—gently, cautiously, like he’s afraid you’ll pull away.
"please," he says.
you freeze.
he’s never said please before. at least, not like this. not as desperate as this.
slowly, you turn to face him, sighing. "jay—"
"just let me say this," he cuts in, eyes burning with something raw, something you’ve never seen on him before. desperation.
you press your lips together but nod.
jay exhales, running a hand through his hair. "i—fuck, i don’t know how to do this," he mutters, shaking his head. "i’m not good at this."
"then don’t," you say, voice sharper than you intended. "don’t stand here and feed me some excuse about how you 'don’t do relationships' or 'didn’t mean to hurt me.' i don’t want to hear it."
jay flinches. "that’s not what i was gonna say."
you cross your arms. "then what?"
he swallows hard, eyes flickering to the floor before meeting yours again. "i—i don’t know how to do this, because i’ve never felt like this before."
your breath catches.
"i didn’t even realize what i was doing," jay continues, voice quieter now. "i didn’t think. i’ve never had to. flirting, messing around—it’s just… easy. but you—" he exhales sharply. "you make things different."
you shake your head. "jay—"
"i don’t want anyone else," he interrupts, stepping closer, voice steady. "just you."
your chest tightens.
"and when you get bored?" you ask, voice barely above a whisper. "when someone new comes along?"
jay shakes his head immediately. "i don’t think i could ever get bored of you."
it’s too much.
too much to believe, too much to trust, too much to risk.
"how am i supposed to believe that?" you ask, eyes searching his face. "how am i supposed to believe you won’t wake up one day and decide i was just another name on your list?"
jay exhales, stepping even closer, until there’s barely any space between you. "because no one’s ever made me feel like this before."
your pulse is loud in your ears.
"i don’t know how to do relationships," he admits, voice low, honest. "i don’t know how to be what you deserve. but i want to try. i want to figure it out—with you."
he’s so close now. close enough that you can smell the faint scent of his cologne, close enough that you can see the hesitation in his eyes, the fear of being rejected, of losing you.
you shouldn’t.
you should walk away.
you should protect yourself, guard your heart, not fall for the one person who could break you the easiest.
but then jay reaches up, fingers brushing against your cheek, his touch hesitant, almost trembling.
"please," he murmurs, his voice almost breaking.
jay park—unshakable, confident, the fuckboy—is breaking in front of you.
and against all logic, all reason—you fall.
before you can think, before you can stop yourself, you close the space between you.
his breath catches, just for a second, before his lips press against yours, warm and desperate.
jay kisses you like he’s afraid you’ll disappear, like he’s trying to prove every word he just said. his hands cup your face, pulling you closer, holding you like you’re something fragile—something precious.
and when you kiss him back, letting yourself believe—just for this moment—that maybe, just maybe, this could be real, he sighs against your lips, like he’s just found something he’s been searching for all along.
your relationship with jay park is different.
you knew it wouldn’t be easy, falling for someone who never had to try, who never had to work for love. but you never expected this.
never expected him to try so hard.
at first, it’s awkward. jay doesn’t know what he’s doing. he’s used to effortless flirting, meaningless hookups, relationships that start and end in the span of a night.
but with you?
he wants to be better. he wants to be different.
so he does things he’s never done before.
he waits for you after class, leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets, eyes lighting up when he sees you.
"did you eat?" he asks one day, falling into step beside you.
you blink. "uh… yeah?"
jay nods, looking relieved. "okay. cool. just—yeah. cool."
he’s awkward. jay park, campus fuckboy, the smooth talker who never falters, is awkward.
you bite back a smile. "did you eat?"
he hesitates.
you raise an eyebrow. "jay."
he clears his throat. "…no."
you sigh, grabbing his sleeve and dragging him toward the campus café. he lets you, grinning like you just gave him the world.
the first time he reaches for your hand, it’s so casual that you almost miss it.
you’re sitting next to each other, watching a movie in the dorm common room. your hand rests between you, fingers brushing against his.
then, slowly, hesitantly, jay links his pinky with yours.
your heart stutters.
you glance at him, but he’s staring straight at the screen, his jaw tight, his ears slightly red.
you bite your lip.
then, without a word, you let your fingers slip fully into his.
jay stiffens for half a second. then, his grip tightens, and he exhales, shoulders relaxing.
he doesn’t let go for the rest of the movie.
he’s not used to jealousy.
or rather, he’s not used to his own jealousy.
he’s seen people get possessive over him before, watched girls glare when he flirted with someone new, felt the heat of their disappointment when they realized he wasn’t theirs.
but now?
now he understands.
he understands because he’s standing in the middle of campus, watching some guy—some random guy—smile at you like he has a chance.
and jay hates it.
he crosses the distance before he can think, sliding an arm around your waist, pulling you flush against his side.
"hey, baby," he murmurs, voice low, casual, possessive.
your eyes widen. "jay?"
"who’s this?" jay asks, looking at the guy.
the guy blinks, glancing between the two of you. "uh, just—just a classmate."
jay smiles, but it doesn’t reach his eyes. "cool. yeah. we gotta go, though."
you barely have time to say goodbye before jay is leading you away, his grip firm but gentle.
once you’re out of earshot, you elbow him. "what was that?"
jay shrugs. "didn’t like the way he was looking at you."
you roll your eyes. "you can’t just—"
he stops walking, turning to face you, eyes serious. "i know i don’t have the right," he admits. "but i don’t like it. i don’t like the idea of someone else thinking they can have you."
your breath catches.
"you’re mine," jay says, voice softer now. "right?"
you stare at him for a moment.
then, finally, you sigh, reaching up to flick his forehead.
"yeah," you mutter. "i’m yours."
jay grins, rubbing his forehead. "damn right."
heeseung and jake pretend to be disgusted.
"you’re whipped," jake says, shaking his head.
"nah, man, this is worse than we thought," heeseung adds. "he’s holding hands in public."
jay glares at them from across the table, but he doesn’t let go of your hand.
"you guys are just mad i have a functional love life," he says.
jake snorts. "yeah, sure. functional."
"bet he calls them ‘baby’ over text," heeseung whispers loudly.
jake gasps. "you think he—"
"shut up," jay groans.
you’re trying not to laugh. "do you?"
jay glares at you, but his ears are red. "i hate you."
you grin. "you love me."
jay rolls his eyes.
but then, under the table, he gives your hand a squeeze.
and you know—
even if he’ll never admit it out loud—
he really does.
you constantly look back and don’t know when you started believing him.
maybe it was the first time he held your hand without thinking, his fingers curling around yours so naturally, like he didn’t need to pretend anymore.
or maybe it was when he let you steal his hoodie, even though you were sure he’d never let anyone do that before.
or maybe—just maybe—it was when you saw the way he looked at you.
because it’s different now.
jay park, the guy who used to flirt with anyone just for fun, the guy who never stuck around, only looks at you.
"okay, but seriously," jake says, pointing a fry at jay. "how the hell did this happen?"
you’re sitting in the corner booth of a diner near campus, squeezed between jay and the wall. heeseung and jake are across from you, both staring like you’re some kind of unsolvable mystery.
jay takes a slow sip of his drink. "what do you mean?"
"you!" heeseung gestures wildly. "relationship jay. committed jay. ‘not flirting with every breathing human’ jay."
"it’s called growth," jay deadpans.
"it’s called ‘i fell first, and i fell hard,’" jake teases, smirking.
jay huffs. "whatever, man."
but he doesn’t deny it.
heeseung leans forward, grinning. "okay, but who confessed first?"
jay opens his mouth—
"me, obviously," you interrupt.
jay’s head snaps toward you. "what?"
you shrug. "you’re a coward. took you forever to admit you liked me."
jake laughs. "ohhh, he got you there."
jay glares at you, but you just smile, nudging his foot under the table.
you laugh, “joking, it’s complicated.”
heeseung rests his chin in his palm. "man, i never thought i’d see the day."
"what day?" you ask, amused.
"the day jay park became a simp."
jay groans, burying his face in his hands. "i hate all of you."
you pat his arm. "no, you don’t."
he exhales, tilting his head to look at you. his eyes soften.
"yeah," he murmurs. "i don’t."
later that night, after jay walks you back to your dorm, you linger outside the door.
he doesn’t leave right away.
instead, he leans against the wall, hands in his pockets, just looking at you.
you tilt your head. "what?"
jay hesitates, then exhales sharply.
"it’s weird," he mutters. "this whole time, i thought i had everything figured out. i thought i knew what i wanted. but then you came along, and suddenly, nothing made sense anymore."
your chest tightens.
"i didn’t get it at first," jay continues, eyes flickering to the ground. "why i got so annoyed when you ignored me. why i kept looking for you in every room. why i couldn’t flirt with anyone else without feeling like it was wrong."
he finally meets your gaze.
"but now i do."
your fingers tighten around the door handle, heartbeat loud in your ears.
"i don’t want to be the guy i was before," he murmurs. "not with you."
you swallow. "jay—"
"i know i’m not good at this," he cuts in. "i know i’m gonna mess up. i know i don’t deserve you."
his voice drops lower, almost hesitant. almost afraid.
"but i want to try. and i want you to let me."
for a moment, neither of you speak.
then, finally—
you sigh, shaking your head. "god, you’re such an idiot."
jay blinks. "huh?"
you step forward, grabbing the collar of his hoodie and pulling him down until your foreheads touch.
"you’ve had me this whole time," you murmur.
jay’s breath stutters.
then, slowly—hesitantly—his arms wrap around you, holding you against him, warm and real.
"yeah?" he whispers.
you nod. "yeah."
jay exhales a shaky laugh, squeezing you tighter.
"thank god," he mutters. "i don’t think i could’ve handled losing you."
you smile against his shoulder.
neither could you.

strongly worded letter 💌
or: Eddie Munson’s long, weird road out of (the) hell(-side down) ☠️ and into love💗
rating: t ♥️ tags: post-S4, steve’s one-man search-and-rescue for eddie’s not-dead body, falling in love, fluff in surprising places, eddie’s chaotic internal monologue, alphabet magnets🧲 for the win ♥️
for @steddielovemonth day four: "I had not intended to love him. [...] He made me love him without looking at me." —Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To the external, uninitiated observer, Eddie is well aware his take on all of this will 100% appear both unhinged and as least vaguely self-destructive, bordering on suicidal.
But here’s the thing: if Eddie had been truly suicidal, the million times he could have just stood and let the mobs take him—bigots or mutant bats or a lichy-ballsac that made people float—he wouldn’t have even bothered fighting. Maybe he was questionably attached to self-preservation, but actively wanting to pack it in? Even the thought of sparing his poor uncle his bullshit—finally—hadn’t been a sweet enough deal. Nope: Eddie is selfishly attached to the whole living thing.
Which is why he is begging for it to be understood, in no uncertain terms:
He’d rather know for sure that he was dead in the endless, silent grey hellscape he’s been left in, than wandering in this half-formless, half-collapsing nothing-burger version of the town he grudgingly called home, unsure where he stands on the mortality-scale either way.
Here’s the deal.
Vents? Foolishly overlooked.
Epic concert? Rocked, no notes.
Bat-chow? Do no recommend.
Henderson sobbing? Recommend even less.
Being tagged as a corpse? Perfectly fine if that’s what you are; dead weight in an apocalypse simply cannot be justified.
The issue is when you’re tagged as a corpse, and you…aren’t one.
So you’re left behind.
Which brings Eddie to:
Meeting what they’ve been calling a demogorgon this whole time but that resembles no such thing, those goddamn lying liars: not fucking cool.
Having…enough demobat saliva or venom or poison or whatever, probably, where the misleading-as-fuck demogorgon sniffs at you like a dog with her puppies instead of eating you with those fucking petal teeth?
Neutral. Probably wouldn’t order it again.
Getting licked all over by said Petal Teeth, all lioness-grooming-its-young style? Disgusting.
Disgusting.
Figuring out demogorgon saliva has some kinda magical mystical healing properties and you’re basically just covered in fairly-smooth scar tissue now that looks months old rather than hours, and plus you got a bath out of it so most of the dried blood’s gone too?
Fine, okay, he’d leave a tip for service.
But now Eddie is as alive as he can think to test being—and he’s been running all the monster-category tests and he doesn’t pass for vampire, zombie, or any various other undead creatures, he’s hungry but mostly for like, Chicken McNuggets, and—
Stuck. He’s stuck here.
And he thinks they must have won, the Party that is, because nothing’s really happening except…things are falling apart, like rotting in slow motion.
Which is a concern. But. Cool, if it means they did in fact make the motherfucker pay.
But that also means nobody has any reason to be strolling back in to fight demons anymore, and come across his not-so-dead ass. Plus also, the place is probably going to keep crumbling—if a master of a realm is axed, the realm doesn’t typically survive. Mordor fell apparent when Barad-dûr came down. And he…
He did agree to go into Mordor.
Well, fuck him.
He mostly wanders around and pokes at random shit, collects some books, ignores the fact that the reality he’s looting is on borrowed time.
He doesn’t know if it’s healthier to deal with that part head on or keep pretending it’s not there, but he honestly could not give a fuck.
Because it’s just him. Save the demogorgon who gave him a tongue bath, he’s seen nothing living. Sometimes there’s a stray screech but it’s too distant to even guess where he’d find whatever made it, stumble upon whatever caused it. There’s not even a breeze to move the decaying trees.
There is nothing.
And it’s starting to drive him fucking insane. He might lose it before the reality caves in on him, actually, just for the sheer…void of it all.
He’s on the edge of that—losing it entirely—when he hears it, sees it.
Who the fuck took that magazine, it’s like three years old, only kept it for the tips on…
And then an echo, like a projection in the air, and it’s fleeting and its faint but where that voice what pretty unmistakable already, the coif of chestnut and the peek of a polo collar, and the seizing in Eddie pulse for both together—it’s almost more undeniable.
That’s fucking Harrington.
The vision is, seconds. At most.
But it shifts Eddie’s priorities entirely.
He starts the day—he’s guessing it’s the start of the day, it’s always fucking grey here but he’s just going off of when he’s hungry so—but he looks for cereal in one of these decrepit houses and eats it out of the box as he tries to get his bearings.
Tries also to remember all the weird shit the kids used to say before Eddie knew they were making any of it up.
Context clues give him that this is Hawkins. 1983 or thereabouts—makes sense for the magazine.
But what makes more sense, and is more helpful: Steve had bitched the magazine was moved.
And Eddie’s definitely the one who had it in his hand when he heard said bitching.
So there’s still some connection. Hope’s not totally lost.
Mostly, maybe. But not totally.
He decides to go back to Harrington’s and just wait until he goes there to sleep so he can tail him, have some sense of how he can try and make contact from his own side, let someone know he’s still here.
It takes forever; Eddie wonders just how different time runs, here, save that when he finally hears something, the vision is clearer in the air, ghostly but more complete.
And Steve looks fucking wrecked.
Like he hasn’t slept in days, like he’s about to fucking cry, like he—
He’s still the most beautiful guy Eddie’s seen in person, if this counts as in-person, but like—that was never not-true.
“Rob, I don’t know! I just, I just feel like—“
“I will handcuff you to your bed.”
Eddie tries to feel excited that whatever’s happening is strong enough that two voices come through, that Robin’s here, she’s safe too—
But he’s more invested in what’s causing the shouting.
”I know how to pick a fucking lock, Jesus,” and Eddie doesn’t not think about the lock he’s worn more than once around Steve at his belt, nope, he does not—
”The gates are closed, Steve. It’s over.”
Well. Fuck.
There goes the hope thing.
”Not all of them. Not totally.”
Or maybe not.
”Steve, I will hunt you down, I will dog your steps, I will follow you every single moment if you think I am leaving big you even consider going back to—”
“I love you, Robs, but you still can’t drive. Think you’ll beat me on your Schwinn?”
“I will slash your tires.”
“Sorry, birdie, got AAA to save me.”
And that’s all Eddie gets, but…
It almost feels like he’s got one single snowball’s chance in hell, here. Still. Just one, true, but.
If he’s learned anything the last few days, it’s that Steve Harrington’s maybe the most reliable snowball he could ask for.
His chest is all tingly about it, even—fucking traitor.
Eddie doesn’t even really have to follow where Steve goes next. In that he knows exactly where it is, just not why the fuck Steve wants to be there.
Especially since even the lack of evidence in ‘83’s version of the trailer still makes him look up at the ceiling and feel like he’s gonna puke.
”Oh sure Mister Munson sir, I just want to borrow your dead nephew’s cassettes, that are definitely in the trailer the fed have locked down to be sent to Area 51 or wherever, just in case he’s not entirelydead in another dimension, and he can hear me because I’m definitely not losing my fucking mind, and definitely not because being called ‘Big Boy’ didn’t fuck with my head more than mutant bats ever did…”
Steve’s frankly endearing muttering, and that last bit especially, distract Eddie enough from the fact that Steve is actively rummaging through his room.
Through his room, Jesus, Eddie moves because he even clocks that lunging at Steve here won’t do shitthere to stop the questionable literature Steve’s already sifting through.
At least Steve can’t see him blush across planes of existence. Hopefully.
“Oh,” and Steve sounds shocked, but then looks…gutted?
”One more for the ‘you suck’ column,” and Eddie decides right then that he fucking does not approve of that tone, at all; ”not like I had a chance, definitely not his type…”
“But my type’s the paladin who protects everyone and needs a faithful bard to tend his wound and keep his bed!” Eddie blurts out into the nothing on his side of the divide.
“My type’s been you since fucking junior year!”
Because Junior-Eddie was admittedly much more lust-driven. Let that be said.
Now-Eddie’s equally if not more invested in the heart of a man.
And Steve Harrington, even remotely thinking that he isn’t Eddie’s type?
Maybe Eddie really is dead. And this is hell.
”Why do I need them?”
Eddie’s got a new box of cereal—Kix, could definitely be better—and has now trailed Steve to what looks like…the edge of town, which, who lives there…
”Nah, kid, nothing bad. Just want to see something. Promise.”
One of the kids. Maybe this is where the Byerses are, now, if they were right and they’d been on their way back? Because Eddie knows where the rest of them live, and this ain’t it.
Theresa are footsteps in one direction, and Steve wanders in the other, where Eddie sees a girl with a buzz cut he doesn’t know, but who stares Steve down in a way that…Eddie can kinda guess.
They’d all alluded to the super powered kiddo more than once.
”Can you look? Like, just to see if he’s—”
Eddie’s neck turns fast when he turns back in to the conversation, less for the words and more for how timid, how cowed Steve sounds and he…
Eddie just wants, more than anything really, to be able to reach out and touch. To comfort. To do…
Something.
”…would not feel him even if he was there. The connection is gone. The Upside Down is dead.”
And Steve deflates, and Eddie…Eddie remembers the lights didn’t they have to be emotionally unstable, kinda, to make the lights flicker, to let someone know they’re there, and Eddie’s definitely there because—
Not fucking all of it, not yet, Eddie wants to scream; or maybe yes all of it but I’m still fucking here.
Also: that man is 100% my type and I want a fucking shot, I want my snowball’s chance in hell, I want to bite him and call him sweetheart like I mean it and I want, I want, I want—
Also that.
Steve leaves with some…fucking magnets.
And the lights didn’t do jack shit.
Eddie spends most of that night playing with magnets.
Well, not at first.
First, he tries yelling, sobbing, focusing like a Force-user, really anything he could think of to get Steve’s lights to flicker. No such luck.
So then Eddie makes a side quest, after having dutifully made certain not to leave Steve’s side for…however many days.
He pops to Melvald’s because of anyone’s got kiddie alphabet magnets, it’s gotta be them.
And score. Definitely not the worst thing Eddie’s stolen. Plus this place is on the way out. Not really relevant, here, if he cared.
Which he fervently does not.
And proves by grabbing two fifths of tequila on the way out. Hah.
He finds Steve passed out on top of his comforter, plaid monstrosity that it is, and he tries very hard to brush his hair back—nothing.
And then Eddie…somehow that’s the straw that breaks the pack-mule’s back. Something in him just fucking snaps.
Because he distinctly remembers this whole fiasco being tied to the labs owned by the fucking Department of Energy, right?
And they can’t even keep the electrical connection between dimensions working?
That’s…that’s unacceptable.
He’s gonna…he’s gonna file a fucking complaint. He’s gonna show up at a picket line. He’s gonna write a strongly worded letter. He’s…
Actually, he’s got all night if the way Steve’s sprawled says anything for how long he’s gonna stay conked out. And he’s also got these handy alphabet magnets.
Letter it is.
”What the fuck?”
d3ar 3nergy d3pt he4d i ju5+ wan+ed to te11 th15 guy i w4n+ t0 b1+3 him but n00 y0u c4nt e73n d0 +h4t i h8 u
Eddie trips over some empty bottles, the answer of how they got there pounding in his head real quick—oh, hey, hangovers do transcend dimensions, seems suspicious—but yeah, okay, he does remember getting creative with the abundance of math magnets in the poorly-labeled alphabet pack last night, misleading to lead on letters by default on the packaging. He does recall being very convinced a sideways ‘7’ was a passable ‘V’. But.
He’s not looking at his side of things. He’s looking at Steve’s.
And so is Steve.
And then Steve—who Eddie wants to bite but also kiss and maybe just hold in his arms chest to chest to feel his warmth because when his control broke last night it conveniently knocked him upside the head with the clear realization of that fact that Steve Harrington?
Is doing all this shit for him. On the hope of a maybe.
And Steve Harrington had been disappointed not to have found his lookalike in Eddie’s porn rags.
And Eddie wrote a letter to the fucking DoE in magnets about it, and Steve can see it, stuck to his fridge in 1986 as clear as Eddie slapped it there in 1983.
”…Eddie?”
Steve’s voice is so small and so fearful to be wrong. His chest is heaving, he’s scared.
Eddie scrambles for the magnets left on the floor and smacks them violently to the refrigerator door in record time, prays to everything he doesn’t believe in that Steve can feel his relief spelled out in the bulky primary colors:
h3y 61g b0y v3
And goddamnit, when Steve falls to the floor with his jaw dropped loose, Eddie is 100% sold:
A ‘V’ turned on its side absolutely makes the bottom half of a heart for the three to butt-up to.
“Got these to play so if you were there, and couldhear me, you could find your way, if,” and Steve, Steve has been talking to Eddie since they both woke up and found those magnets, even if they haven’t been able to replicate anything, not the letter nor the faulty lighting trick Eddie’d complains about on the fridge in the first place: it could just be a fluke. Steve has no reason to believe Eddie’s alive, that Eddie did that, that Steve didn’t sleepwalk into sleep-spelling, that Eddie even alive in some form would be following his every move.
Of course he is, but. Steve can’t know.
It’s all on faith. For Eddie.
And fuck is Eddie’s heart doesn’t go playing ping pong with his ribs for how much it hits him, how wide and warm it swells in his chest like hope, only second to affection, to want, to—
“Vecna’s not gone, but he’s like, one step from it. I don’t know he can get you but,” Steve taps to the Walkman, to the headphone he gets on just one ear so he can hear and also so someone else—so Eddie—can hear Megadeath as Steve bustles around his house, packing a duffle that reminds Eddie of when they were peeping to storm the castle—
That’s what Steve’s doing. That, that’s what Steve is doing right now.
“I just,” Steve heaves a deep breath, hands on his hips before one pinches between his eyes; “I felt like you were still there, I can’t explain it,” and Eddie’s shaken to his core right now in the best possible way so when he blurts out in a croon:
“Power of loooove, Stevie!”
He can’t be blamed for that. He can’t. He’s…
This man is going down into hell, has not grantee of what Eddie knows in it being largely innocuous, now, save…undead Vecna lurking somewhere, so weak he’s not even noticed.
“But we know music works though, so.”
Steve’s still narrating his plan; Eddie is just staring. Wants to…wants so fucking bad to touch.
“We have to wait for night, for me to get down there. They’re shitty with security on the graveyard shift.” Then Steve’s smirking, and fuck, he’s so pretty.
”Plus Robin sleeps like the dead, she won’t have a chance to notice what I’m doing even on the off chance word got out.”
And the fact that Steve is willing to defy his own platonic soulmate for Eddie—barely knows him in terms of days and hours but at least, if it’s the same as Eddie’s realising more and more that he feels, and unshakable too: it’s like his soul knows Steve, and that cannot care a lick for how time runs, it’s bigger than that.
There’s too much of a sense of potential, a crackling possibility just being in his proximity, even with the distance of other goddamn dimensions—there’s too much swirling in Eddie already for it to mean nothing.
Plus, like: flip the script. Steve is risking everything on a whim, for him.
It cannot be nothing.
“I’m hoping you’re where we left you, which,” and Steve’s voice catches, he pauses, looks around like he’s hoping Eddie might pop into the visible spectrum, so he can see and know, but then he just looks up at the ceiling like—oh, fuck, like it’ll make sure no tears fall out and:
“I can’t fucking tell you how sorry—“ Steve starts to say be Eddie can’t bear watching like this, strides over in an instant and grabs Steve’s hand.
And Steve stills.
And Eddie can feel his pulse in his wrist.
“Is that you?” Steve barely breathes, stares now at his arm where…Eddie can only see the kind of glimmering overlap that means two things are happening in the same place on different planes, he’s grown used to that. But.
If Steve can feel him, if there are moments here that are probably limited where Eddie can prove some little tiny bit that he’s here and he’s listen and he’s with Steve—
He pulls Steve’s hand and drags him into the kind of full body hug he’s been aching for for…fuck.
Too fucking long.
“Eddie,” Steve sighs out, and Eddie can’t help himself. He runs hands through Steve’s hair, and holy fuck: Steve leans in.
Steve feels it enough to lean in.
“It feels like I’ve been falling for a ghost, man.”
Steve says it on a whisper, like he’s still not sold entirely, or else maybe afraid to break a spell. Eddie gets that second part.
“But I guess it kinda started before that, so maybe it’s not as fucking crazy,” Steve laughs a little wet with it and…Eddie has to, because what if he never gets another chance, and hell—if he does, how can he deprive them both the chance to know whatever the sensation will be, like this?
Eddie’s not up to risk never knowing what a cross-dimensional lip lock feels like, okay?
So he doesn’t.
“Please don’t be a ghost,” Steve breathes out and fuck, Eddie can’t taste it but he can feel the way the air moves and it’s, it is; ”I think if you are, I’ll live the rest of my life trying to make it work anyway, I,” and Steve doesn’t get to finish because Eddie pushes in again, and Steve’s as good as his reputation and then some, on wholly separate planes of being.
Eddie cannot fucking wait to feel it flesh to flesh.
“I fall fast, man, but this is kinda insane,” Steve pants, arms out awkward with any indication where to hold. He’s adorable.
He’s delectable.
“But you did say you wanted to bite me, assuming you were talking about me,” Steve smirks but then his eyes go wide:
“Oh, shit, are you a vampire?”
And Eddie has no idea how long he’s been down here alone, surrounding by the silence and the darkness and just the projection level overlay of Steve when he’s lucky, but Jesus H. Christ—
“Is that you laughing?” Steve chokes on his own kinda-giggle as he braces against an unseen and unseeable force barrelling into him: of course it’s Eddie.
Of course he’s fucking cackling.
Because however long it’s been, he definitely hasn’t laughed at any point at all in that span of time—and fuck if he didn’t need it.
Steve slips down the last burbling gate not without effort, not without lava-hot road rash no doubt fucking with his already not-yet-healed stomach.
When he’s tackled, thrown straight to the ground, weight pinning him to the ground that’s more dry, more deadened than Steve remembers from just days ago: when his back hits the ground—none of it matters.
“It was me laughing.”
And then Eddie’s mouth is on his—it’s the echo he was afraid he’d imagined that morning, just like the hand on his wrist, just like the laughter wrapped around him.
“You’re an even better kisser in person, holy shit, even your fucking glowing reputation shortchanged you.”
And Steve’s kinda breathless, not just for getting smooshed to the dirt; but then Eddie’s kissing him again, and breathing seems really kind low on Steve’s list of giving a shit.
“You are so my type it’s not even funny,” Eddie says, before diving back into kiss with a bruising kind of force, an unmistakable kind of intent; “I think my type has fully migrated to include kinda just you.”
And Steve’s heartbeat kinda stutters at that because…that’s new.
No one’s ever…well.
It’s just new.
“You weren’t wrong to leave me behind, you don’t ever have to apologize,” and then he’s kissing along Steve’s jaw, and it’s Steve’s laughter now, the tickle of dirty curls dragging at his stubble; “you got out, you’re safe, you’re here,” and Eddie sounds almost overcome with feeling, with relief, and then in the end, bubbling with joy. And somehow Steve can tell it’s not because Steve’s here to save him, bring him home.
It’s just because Steve’s here and that, that is—
Steve’s heartbeat’s just gonna do that tripping thing for the foreseeable future he thinks, at this point. Probably.
“I was trying to convince myself otherwise, because I didn’t think there could ever be a shot in hell but I was falling before it all fell apart, too,” Eddie says in a rush, leaning again to kiss the corners of Steve’s lips, like talking is just an inconvenient interruption to better ways of using his mouth and given how goddamn much Eddie Munson’s always talked, that fucking says something:
“And ever since, it’s felt like I was falling in love through a movie screen,” and he cups Steve’s face to angle it just so as he breathes, those eyes endless and glistening; “could see but never reach, until,” and then he’s kissing him straight on the lips again, a full-frontal assault, tongue seeking teeth, looking for the depths of his goddamn soul of something.
Steve isn’t even embarrassed for how he arches up, how he fucking moans. No one could ever feel this and do anything less.
Like: fucking impossible.
“I liked your letter to the editor,” Steve gasps when Eddie breaks apart and concedes to needing air, presses kisses up and down Steve’s throat while he regroups.
“Oh, shit,” Eddie’s face pops back up—dirt smears and ruddy and in need of a shower but on the whole in way better shape than Steve last remembers having to walk away from, and fuck, fuck—he’s never walking away from it again; “can we send that to the Post? No edits, I want my numbers intact, let them try to figure it out like Zodiac.”
Steve snorts, because god he really is half in love with this nerd, and he’s not a ghost, he’s sold and his chest is heaving into Steve’s and he’s grinning wills and he’s here and they’re here and this is realand—
He yells when the sting clamps through his much-less-extensive uniform of his Members Only jacket despite the weather—it’s freezing, but like, the gates were just cracks, he had to move like a ninja!
Just not a bite-proof ninja, apparently.
“You know, I should have expected that,” Steve deadpans, but his smile gives him away as Eddie pulls his mouth back from the stretch of Steve’s neck that runs to his shoulder, where honestly Steve thinks Eddie punctured the coat in the process. Fucking feral gremlin.
Steve really wants to keep him. Like, indefinitely.
“You really, really should have,” Eddie agrees, beaming like the sun when there’s only dark around them, making it all feel so warm in the chill.
“Honestly should have expect nothing less,” Eddie’s smile curls a little dangerous as he leans in again, apparently satisfied with having caught his breath enough as he mouths wet against Steve’s lips:
“Big boy.”
And then, again: he pounces.

Druitt POV
*Week before the Royal Rumble*
Tonight I didn't have any matches, but I did have a contract signing segment with Liv later.
Tonight I let Jade and Bi dress me, and I must say they did a pretty good job.
(Minus the purse)
Tumblr media
For hair I just had my hair in a neat ponytail with a natural glam. (like picture above)
After I was done I went to gorilla just as I heard Liv's music phase out and my song started to play.
I walked keeping eye contacting with Liv the entire time, smirking as I got in the ring. I looked at Pearce and the influx of security that was around the ring.
Pearce raised the mic to his mouth "Ladies, lets keep this contract signing for your match at Royal Rumble at a civil level" he held out the contract with a pen and slid it in front of me.
I picked up the mic and looked at Liv "Liv, this is your last chance. Cause once you sign this contract, you are signing away your life, so are you sure you want to do this?"
She smiled at me as she raised up her mic "awe what is it Rhyan? are you scared that I could take your title from you?" she leaned forward a little "or are you scared because you know that I am way better than you"
"You see Liv, I am not afraid of anything, especially you" I laid the title on the table and leaned forward myself "I am not the one who snuck somebody from behind instead of facing me dead on, cause you know you can't beat me one on one"
Her face held a scowl as I leaned back and smiled I took the contract and signed it, and Pearce passed it to Liv and she signed it "Rhyan, next Saturday I will take everything you love, starting with taking that title, then sending you back to .... Main Event where you belong " she started laughing as I was now scowling at her. "and all you can do .... is watch me"
I stood up and act like I was about to exit the ring, when I quickly dropped the title and turn and launched myself over the table at her. Once I had her in my grip I started throwing jabs any and every where I could.
Before she could even get the upper hand security had separated us. I smiled as Liv was trying to fight through security to get to me, so I blew her a kiss as I was handed my title and walked through gorilla.
*Royal Rumble Day*
It was finally Royal Rumble day and the anticipation was rising. I was in the back as I was completely ready for the night.
Tumblr media
I was watching the monitor in the back as the Women Royal Rumble was set to start. Bianca and Jade was watching with me in the back.
As Samantha was announcing the start of the match, Natalya made her entrance.
I went over to Bi and Jade "who is going to be number 2?"
Bianca shrugged her shoulders "I have no idea, they said it was a surprise entrant"
As soon as she said that the lights cut out, lasers started going, and that familiar song started to play. I didn't have to look over at Bi and Jade to know that they had the same look of shock as me.
"She didn't tell me she was going to be here!" I was shocked as I watch Trinity make her surprise return back to WWE. She smiled as I could see the emotions run through her as the WWE universe welcomed her back with a standing ovation.
I continued to watch the match, as Bi and Jade both made their way out at their call time.
*1 hour later*
It was the end of the rumble, and Bayley was celebrating her huge win. With my match being next, I made my way towards gorilla, where I saw Trin talking with Bi and Jade.
"Now do we need to fight now or later" I said as I walked up to the group.
"How about never and give me a hug" she pulled me into a hug as I hugged her tighter.
"Does this mean that you're back?" I pulled back looking at her.
"yes I am back!" We all cheered as we pulled her into a group hug. Then when Bayley walked out we congratulated her.
"Congrats Pam! Maybe we will meet at WrestleMania"
"Maybe we will, I love working with you" I smiled as I said bye to the girls and went into gorilla, getting into the zone.
Once my music hit I got into character, coming out to a bunch more cheers than boos tonight. Liv was already in the ring waiting on me, and we kept eye contact the entire time.
Soon as the bell rang, we started going for blood.
I got the upper hand and swung her into the turnbuckle, stunning her a bit as I ran and landed a big boot to the side of her face and she dropped.
I quickly dropped with her and the ref started the count.
1..
2..
And a kick out right before 3. I pulled her up and as I did she quickly sent a few blows to my head and one to my mid section making me bend over and caught me with a DDT.
She quickly pinned me as I laid there
1..
2..
I kicked out right before 3, cradling my mid section. I saw Liv quickly roll out the ring and grabbed an item. Whatever she grabbed made the crowd get hyped.
I leaned up, and as soon as I did I felt the impact of the chair on my back.
"Ah!" I fell over and Liv kept hitting me over and over again. I finally built enough strength and took my leg and swept it under her to make her fall to the mat.
*15 minutes later*
Liv laid out on the outside of the ring. I rolled on the outside and went under the ring, and grabbed a table and the crowd cheered even louder.
I set up the table and went to grab Liv. Before I could pick her up she swung me right into the post, then right into the ring.
I leaned up and grabbed the ropes and as I turned Liv hit me with obLIVion and went for the pin, but I kicked out at 2.
She got up to get on the top rope which gave me time to recover. I moved out the way as Liv dived at me and she rolled. I decided to pay a little subtle tribute to the twins and as Liv turned towards me I sent a super kick to her, dropping her.
I quickly picked her up and sent her through the table on the outside, the crowd on their feet cheering "THIS IS AWESOME"
I grabbed Liv and threw her back in the ring. I went for the 3 count, quickly getting it.
I smiled as the ref handed me my title and I celebrated on the top rope as Liv walked to the back.
*Few moments later*
It was finally time to for the men's royal rumble match. The twins will start as this will begin their feud for WrestleMania.
Currently I was in my dressing room, dressed in a two-piece travel set while Jey was finishing wrapping his hand.
I walked over finishing for him and made sure his gear was together.
"Good luck out there, remember that tonight you are making history" I looked into his eyes as he leaned down for a quick kiss.
"thank you ma, after tonight we deserve a vacation" I nodded in agreement.
"We definitely do" soon a knock came to the door and it was time for Jey to go. We did our handshake before he left, soon Trin came and joined me as we sat and enjoyed the rest of the show together.
The whole match had us on the edge of our seats, it ending with Cody winning.
After the night, we all gathered our things and decided to just hang out in Jey's and I hotel room for the night. We ended up ordering pizza and watching a movie until we all fell asleep.

Damian's Chicken
l just thought of this really odd scenario.
Chickens, Damian wanted chickens and by God he would get them. It had taken significant emotional effort to allow father to agree to them being housed at the manor, but he had finally convinced him. The only issue was the acquisition and transportation of said chickens. He could not merely drive up to a farm and pick some up on his own, so he was obligated to enlist his older brothers for aid.
Tim was far too sleep deprived to be of use, but a well placed bribe in the for of a limited edition copy of 1984 lured Jason. Dick had not been able to come in person, but he had sent the address of farmers of well repute that were willing to part with some of their livestock.
While on their journey, hunger struck and they ended up in an unkept, yet somehow still standing diner. As the two settled into the bar stools, a nearby fellow began to strike conversation. He appeared to be roughly Damian's age and they began to have an enthusiastic conversation about animals and farm livestock:
Damian: I don't have a farm per say, but I do own a farm animal and do appreciate wild fauna on occasion.
Connor: Well in that case, I'd like to invite you to my family's farm. We live just past this fine establishment and on the other side of the bridge.
Jason realizes that area is either really close to where they are headed or may just be their destination
Jason: And by any chance would that be the Kent farm? Cuz we heading over there to pick up some chickens for my little gremlin brother here.
Connor confused because no one told him about this: Why yes, but I was unaware that we were getting visitors today.
-before the conversation can go any further two men walk into the establishment.
The first one is giving everyone apologetic smiles, while the other distributes death glares to all.
Damian and Connor both speak at once: "Father" "Dad"
Jason curses under his breath and groans. Bruce had told him and Damian that he could not take him to the farm because he had an off-the books meeting with superman. Realization dawns on Damian in that instant and Bruce now has to explain to Clark that his alter ego as superman was discovered by his meddling children because his youngest wanted a chicken.
"Ah", exclaims Damian as if completing a puzzle with scattered pieces, "I know see how Richard managed to find me a reputable farm chicken so quickly."
He then stands up and looks to his father, "However, now that I know that his connections to said farmers were tainted by his alternate profession, I must perform my own inspection of the animals."
Bruce sighed and Clark looked alarmed at the boy's knowledge of Nightwing's identity.
Jason looked to Bruce with an evil look and said, "For all the talks you gave us, and you were the one who spawned the biggest brat them all."

Blood and Allegiance—Rook de Riva, Teia/Viago
summary: before she was rook, Keket was a fledgling taken from a declining, abusive House. now, in treviso, she meets her new benefactor (viago de riva) and his surprising, beautiful counterpart (teia cantori). what will she think of her potential benefactor? what will they think of her? rating: M word count: 2500 (inspired by the first prompt from this post!!)
read on AO3
Tumblr media
Keket had heard many things about Treviso, had flipped through the images of its canals and architecture marvels in textbooks. In private, Keket had even pressed her fingertips to the glossy pages and imagined she was there instead of where she was, instead of doing what she was. In fact, anywhere would have been better than training in her House. Yet in those secret daydreams, in those most private thoughts, Keket was always in Treviso, cartwheeling down boardwalks flanked by sparkling water—or perhaps ziplining over a twinkling marketplace.
Now, as she was escorted through its front gates, Keket knew she had been right to hold onto those daydreams.
Treviso was the most beautiful place she had ever seen.
Her escort didn’t speak to her as they meandered through Treviso’s walkways, moving with the elegance and grace of a trained assassin. Someday, she would be as languid as that. Though as a teenager just past her thirteenth year, Keket was mostly just uncertainty, with limbs too stiff to do anything useful with. It wasn’t as if the anxiety hadn’t already been beaten out of her—it had.
But Keket also couldn’t help wondering what kind of beatings her new benefactor favored—because they all favored one or another. There was no love lost for her old House; that was for sure. However, the nondescript warehouse they came upon didn’t do much to appease newfound concerns, no matter how often she’d been punished for them in the past. After all, Antivan Crows were nothing if not relentless. At least, that was what she told herself.
“This is where I leave you.”
Years of training kept Keket from jumping at the sound of his voice. “Thank you,” she responded, smiling grimly up at her escort. Because even then, she knew to be polite. Even then, in this new city, with this new benefactor, Keket knew to be pleasant. How else was she supposed to form alliances?
To her surprise, her escort smiled warmly back at her—even winking before he began to walk away. That was harder to digest. Crows weren’t supposed to smile at anyone that wasn’t a contract. Keket nearly frowned at the absurdity of it. No doubt that whoever trained him would be ashamed if they’d seen.
The front door to the warehouse was also nondescript—though pretty and well-stained wood, if anything. The inside was dark and empty, save for a few skylights, which provided enough sunshine for Keket to easily make her way to the room’s center, where a person in shadow awaited.
Her new grandmaster.
There wasn’t much Keket wanted—they didn’t need to be kind or accepting or even remotely interested in their fledglings. But if this new House could just be better than the last… if they could just be even one iota less cruel, that would be enough for her.
“Welcome! You must be our new fledgling.”
If Keket’s escort had surprised her, this was nothing less than shock, radiating down into her very bones. As she approached the figure, she could have sworn the day-light filtering in from above rearranged itself just for her—for the small woman standing in front of Keket. Which it should.
Because standing in front of Keket was an earth-shatteringly beautiful woman.
“I’m Andarateia Cantori,” the woman said, flashing white teeth in her smile. “Though you can call me Teia. Just don’t tell anyone else I told you so.”
Sheer instinct kept Keket on her feet, had her nodding slowly back to Teia. Though it was several moments before she could find her voice again. “Are you my new grandmaster?”
This only made Teia smile’s widen, until she was full-blown grinning at Keket. If the gesture itself wasn’t so warm and full of kindness, she would have retreated to a more defensible position in the room.
“Well…” Teia began. “Not really. Although, if you wish, I could make arran—“
The warehouse door slamming back open was the last straw, and Keket threw herself to the side, safety rolling near one of the room’s main walls, which she promptly pressed her back against.
“Oh, dammit!” Teia shouted, all traces of her previous warmth evaporated. “You scared our little fledgling half to death!”
A new, distinctly male voice sounded off then. “Teia!” the intruder barked, his long legs carrying him to where Keket had just been standing. “What do you think you are doing? Is it your life’s mission to be a complete pain in my ass? Or did I do something to specifically warrant this intrusion? I can never tell.”
“Keket?” Teia called, ignoring the intruder’s protests. “May I introduce to you your new grandmaster—Fifth Talon, Viago de Riva.”
At this, Keket’s eyebrows shot up. Fifth Talon? The Fifth Talon wanted her in his House?
“Come over here,” Teia encouraged, beckoning Keket with another warm smile. Still, she ignored Viago’s ever-reddening face, the deep blush darkening his handsome bronze skin until it almost looked purple.
The wall felt safer. But Teia was too enticing, too beautiful and friendly to disobey—as if they had already formed a comraderie or an understanding that could not be betrayed by Keket’s own suspicion. Even if that suspicion was a necessary part of their trade.
Unwilling footsteps shuffled Keket closer to where the duo stood, only twelve inches apart or so. The sky-light illuminated both of their features, which were very Antivan in nature—tawny brown skin and dark, curly hair so tightly coiled the curls were more like ringlets. And while Teia’s eyes were as deep and brown as her hair, Viago’s were a strange, muted emerald, as if that emerald had first been buried in fresh soil.
Only when Keket came to a stop next to him did Viago turn towards her, his piercing gaze pinning the teenager’s feet to the spot.
“Viago, Keket. Keket, Viago,” Teia chuckled.
Keket remained silent, as was expected of all fledglings before their grandmaster. So did she avert her gaze, keeping it trained on the ground. She needed to show him the utmost deference and respect, just as her last grandmaster had taught her.
“Look at me,” Viago commanded.
Keket’s blood ran cold. That didn’t seem right. What had she done wrong?
“Now.”
She obeyed him at once, her eyes wide and wiped blank of any obvious sentiment—the best she could do, given her terror.
“Don’t frighten her more,” Teia hissed, and Keket’s eyes involuntarily flicked to the scowling woman beside them. “Or I’ll make you regret it.”
Keket’s next inhale stuttered in her chest. Surely she would face punishment for speaking to the Fifth Talon this way?
But Viago only rolled his emerald eyes, his mustache quirking with a grimace. “How old are you?” he asked her.
Keket knew to answer quickly. “Thirteen.”
“How long have you been a fledgling?”
“Since I was eight.”
“Eight?” Both Viago and Teia shared a look.
Keket fought the urge to squirm. “Is that… unusual?” Typically, Keket would never deign to speak while not spoken to, but something about their reactions felt strange.
Teia was the one to answer. “It depends. But your former grandmaster had a certain reputation for eccentric recruiting practices.”
At that, Keket was silent. What did that mean?
Viago scoffed. “What she means is that your former grandmaster was a despicable speck of scum that had no qualms about recruiting hordes of small children so long as some of them survived long enough to cause trouble for the other Houses.”
Keket nodded absently.
“Agreed. Let us hope their new grandmaster has more sense,” Teia added, glancing at Viago again. “Lest the rest of us be forced to take action.”
With no clear understanding of what she meant, Keket once more averted her gaze.
“Keket, let me properly introduce you to Andarateia Cantori, Seventh Talon of the Antivan Crows, since I am sure she made no effort to disclose her official title.”
Against all instinct, an audible gasp ripped through Keket’s throat.
“Now you’ve done it,” Teia angrily muttered.
The Fifth and Seventh Talon. Keket knew this meeting could potentially be dangerous, though she would never have been able to ascertain the level of that danger—would never have thought that two Talons would ever be standing in front of her, squabbling like old lovers as if they couldn’t end her existence with a single twist of their hands.
There were no words for the influx of awe, horror, and hope rushing through her belly. So, Keket defaulted to the proper supplication these Talons deserved; a still body, and a quiet mouth.
This, however, did not seem to please Viago de Riva.
He cursed in Antivan. “What? Did your grandmaster beat the spirit out of you?”
Keket’s reply was instantaneous and without any emotion. “Yes.”
Then Teia cursed. Keket turned to her. “Grandmaster said that a good Crow must be emptied before it can be filled with anything useful, so we practiced being empty a lot.”
The warehouse’s subsequent silence only served to further strain Keket’s nervous system. That wall was looking highly safe right now…
“A good Crow uses everything at their disposal to complete their contracts,” Viago replied. “Especially their natural predispositions.” A pause. “Look at Teia,” he continued, gesturing to Teia with his hand. “What weapons do you think she is most likely inclined to use?”
“Here it comes,” Teia grumbled.
Keket was sure she was being set up to fail this question, but she also suspected Viago did not tolerate anything but the truth. Slowly, Keket appraised Teia once more, absorbing her small, lithe body, which would certainly attune her to agile movement; her full lips; the way her soft, long hair framed her jaw…
An uncomfortable blush began peppering Keket’s neck and ears when she realized she was staring. “Well,” she started. “She is… very beautiful.”
This prompted Teia to grin at her, which only served to aggravate the blush.
But Viago only frowned. “Exactly. So you can imagine how many powerful, wealthy men survive encounters with her when she is fulfilling a contract.”
“Probably not very many,” Keket said.
Teia laughed. “Exactly. Seduction is one of many tools in a Crow’s arsenal. These powerful, self-important men see my face and my ears and think I am harmless. Usually, it is the last thought they ever have.”
Keket’s eyes widened in something akin to wonder.
“Now, what do you think of Viago? What skillset do you think he is most predisposed to?”
She felt her jaw lock when Viago’s intense gaze returned to her. This was most certainly a trap. Right?
Still, the answer came at once—a muted whisper that bubbled inside her mind. Such whispers came infrequently, though when they did, they most often struck true.
“Poison.”
Both Teia and Viago’s brows shot up, their visages conveying an honest surprise at the answer.
“And why would you say that?” Teia asked.
Keket swallowed, attempting to ignore Viago’s stare seeping into her face. “He holds himself apart from others—at least one foot away. At first, I thought it was because of a… distaste for you,” she said, unwillingly glancing back at Teia, “but your obvious familiarity with each other ruled that out. I would guess that you just don't like to be touched.”
She got the distinct impression this made the Talons uncomfortable, judging by their stony expressions.
“Secondly… you smell like Belladern,” Keket murmured.
Viago de Riva cocked his head at that, his stare turning intense. “Are you sure you are not scenting my cologne?”
“I’m sure. Belladern is created by mixing belladonna with wyvern venom, and it has a signature aroma when heated at the right degree. It’s sweet.”
Viago nodded, his head moving slowly while he stuck his tongue against one cheek.
But Keket continued to answer, her voice steadily becoming more confident as she did. “I also think you sampled some before coming here. You probably ingest small amounts of several poisons to build immunity to them, since most who prefer poison are often paranoid about unknowingly consuming poison themselves.”
“What’s your evidence?” Viago asked, deliberating.
“Belladern side effects include rapid heartbeat, and I can see yours pounding against the arteries of your neck.” Keket lifted one hand, pointing at Viago’s carotid, where his pulse point throbbed at a steady and swift rate.
“And I don’t think it’s because you’re nervous,” she supplemented. “Also, your left fingers keep twitching. Since Belladern also causes convulsions, that would make sense as well.”
Teia muttered something softly, the Antivan momentarily breaking through Keket’s examination.
“Anything else?” Viago inquired.
Keket nodded at Viago’s other hand. “The tips of those fingers are red and raw, as if they’ve been burned. Since I assume you wear gloves while you work, yours are either old and worn through, or you need a second pair to cover the first. I would recommend drakeskin, as it deteriorates slowly,” she finished, voice once again quiet.
Viago de Riva folded his arms across his chest, the harsh angles of his brow and jaw smoothed out. “Was it your grandmaster that taught your class alchemy?”
“No. He used it on us. I remembered the smell.”
After an agonizingly silent pause, Teia cursed again—a fiery, filthy string of curses Keket struggled to not blush at.
Meanwhile, Viago looked vicious once more, fury etching deep into the handsome planes of his face. “Agreed, Teia.”
Keket resisted the urge to return to the warehouse’s wall. Had she said too much? Was she arrogant in her responses? Did she insult his honor?
“Right, then,” Teia chirped, a strained smile pulling at her mouth.
“Viago, if you do not want another fledgling, I would be more than happy to declare her part of House Cantori.”
That… couldn’t be right. Right?
But Viago only glowered, each emerald eye narrowing in warning.
“Absolutely not. I will not have you poaching every wounded fledgling who crosses your path.” Then he turned to Keket, the curls in his hair bouncing slightly with the movement.
“You should know: I will not coddle you the way some may think you deserve. Becoming a fledgling in my House will mean even more discipline and more… correction, if you will.”
Keket nodded. She did not expect anything different.
“But,” Viago said, his jaw unclenching. “Only when you deserve it. Or when lessons demand that of you. Nothing more.”
Unwilling, traitorous tears began to gather in the back of her eyes.
“Stop that,” Viago snapped, all too observant.
Keket froze. “Yes, sir.” She briefly turned her gaze to the ceiling, hoping that the tears would suck themselves back into their ducts.
“I guess it is settled then,” Teia said, clapping her hands together. It did not escape Keket that she seemed to be pouting, her lower lip jutting out a touch more than the top. “What a shame. I do enjoy my strays.”
And for the first time in many months, Keket found herself smiling.
Treviso, the city of dreams, indeed.

July 21st, 2022 - London, United Kingdom
Amelie stood in front of the full-length mirror, adjusting the straps on her dress for what felt like the tenth time. The silk fabric clung to her curves, a soft black gown that Elysia had picked out for her. She wasn’t sure why, but it made her feel like a different person—one she didn’t quite recognize.
—Are you ready yet?— Elysia’s voice echoed from the other room, her impatience evident as usual.
—Just a second,— Amelie called back, fixing her hair one last time.
—You look great, don’t worry,— Elysia called from the hallway, peeking her head around the corner. She was already dressed in a chic but casual outfit, looking effortless as usual.
Amelie gave a half-hearted smile, still not feeling totally at ease in the dress. Fancy dinners weren’t really her thing—she preferred things simple, relaxed, no expectations hanging over her. But here she was, getting ready for a date she wasn’t even sure about.
She took a deep breath, adjusting her dress one last time, and walked out into the living room where Elysia was waiting.
—Dalton should be here any minute,— Elysia said, barely looking up from her phone. She was texting Joe, her boyfriend, but she’d been the one who’d pushed Amelie into this date in the first place.
—Yeah, yeah, I know, I’m not a child, you don’t have to tell me every five minutes,— Amelie replied, trying to sound more confident than she felt.
Elysia grinned, dropping her phone onto the couch. —Dalton’s a good guy, I promise. You’ll have fun, I swear. It’s just dinner. You don’t have to marry him tonight, but just... give it a chance, okay? Please? For me?—
Amelie rolled her eyes, but there was no use. —You already convinced me, Ely. I don’t really have a choice now, do I?—
—Exactly! Now go and have fun. I’ll be here when you get back, you know I’ll need the gossip later. No backing out. Got it?—
Amelie gave her sister a teasing smile, but in reality, she wasn’t sure how much she wanted to gossip about this. The whole thing just felt... off. But Elysia had begged her, and it wasn’t like she could say no after all the nudging.
The doorbell rang just as Amelie was about to speak again, making her jump. She stood there, frozen for a second, before Elysia practically shoved her toward the door.
—Go! Have fun! And don’t come back too soon,— Elysia called out, her voice full of excitement.
Amelie opened the door, and standing there, looking like a nervous puppy in a suit, was Dalton Kincaid.
—Hey, uh... Amelie, right?— he stammered, trying to smile but not quite pulling it off.
She nodded, forcing herself to smile. —Yeah, that's me. You must be Dalton. Nice to meet you.—
Dalton nodded, his eyes flicking nervously between Amelie and the ground. He was tall, with a broad build that suggested he worked out—something that was pretty typical of most of Elysia’s boyfriend's friends. His brown hair was a little too long, but it suited him, giving him an almost boyish look. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, but the way he fidgeted with his tie made it clear he wasn’t used to this kind of thing.
—You look... great,— he said, looking her up and down before quickly looking away, like he was worried she might see his nerves.
Amelie couldn’t help but smile, feeling a little sorry for him. He seemed genuinely sweet, and his nerves were kind of endearing in a way. She could tell he wasn’t trying to be awkward, but he was.
—Thanks. You look good, too,— she said, trying to make him feel a bit more comfortable.
Dalton cleared his throat. —Right. Um... are you ready to go?—
—Yeah, let’s do this,— Amelie said, pushing her nerves aside.
The drive to the restaurant was quiet, with Dalton stealing glances at her every few seconds as if checking if she was still there. She could feel his eyes on her, and although she wasn’t uncomfortable, it was a little strange.
As they arrived at the restaurant, Dalton pulled up in front of the large, sleek building, the valet already waiting. The place looked expensive—too expensive for Amelie’s liking. She could already feel the weight of the place, all the polished glass and smooth marble, and the people inside who looked like they were there to seal business deals, not to have fun.
Dalton opened the door for her, and Amelie stepped out, feeling more than a little out of place. She could tell he was nervous, his hand hovering by the door like he was waiting for her to make the first move.
—You okay?— Amelie asked, giving him an encouraging smile.
—Yeah, just... not really used to these types of places,— he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. —But it’s nice, right? I thought it’d be... um, nice?—
She nodded, trying to keep it light. —It’s very fancy, that’s for sure.—
As they walked inside, the hostess greeted them warmly, leading them to their table. Dalton was still fumbling with his tie, and Amelie couldn’t help but think how much it reminded her of Lando—back when they’d first started hanging out. She had seen the same nervous energy, the same awkward attempts at making small talk, and it was... oddly familiar.
But then, once they sat down, Dalton seemed to ease into it a little. The waiter poured them glasses of wine, and they made the usual polite conversation—how was your day, how long have you known Joe, blah, blah, blah. Amelie tried to engage, but she could feel herself slipping away, wishing she was anywhere but here.
Dalton kept glancing around at the menu like he was afraid to pick the wrong thing, making Amelie smile a little. He wasn’t trying too hard to impress her, but he was definitely putting in the effort, even if it wasn’t quite landing. It wasn’t like he was rude or cold, far from it. But she didn’t feel any... spark. She didn’t feel that instant connection that everyone always talked about, the kind that makes your stomach flip.
—Hey,— she interrupted, deciding to be honest. —Do you want to, like, go somewhere else? This place is nice, but it’s just not... really my vibe. Too fancy, you know?—
Dalton blinked, surprised. —Oh! Yeah, no, that’s totally fine. I mean, I just... I thought this would be a good place, but...uh, no, I get it. Where do you want to go?—
Amelie couldn't help but chuckle at Dalton's eagerness to fix things, though she appreciated it. His nervousness was almost sweet—like he was trying to read her mind, but didn't quite know how.
—How about somewhere... a little more relaxed? Like, I don't know, an arcade or something?— she suggested, raising an eyebrow, wondering if he'd be into the idea.
Dalton's face lit up at the suggestion, his nerves momentarily forgotten. —An arcade? Yeah! I’m all in for that. No problem! Let’s go do that. This fancy stuff is definitely not my thing either. I’ll take you wherever you want.—
Amelie smiled, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. This was more like it—no pressure, no pretense. It was nice to have someone who wasn’t trying to force a "perfect" night.
As they left the restaurant, the car ride was lighter now, with Dalton actually laughing at her jokes and the conversation flowing a lot more easily. The arcade wasn’t far away, and as they arrived, Amelie felt her mood brighten.
Dalton parked the car and they walked into the dimly lit arcade, filled with the sounds of clinking tokens and upbeat music. It felt like a completely different world from the stiff, quiet atmosphere of the restaurant.
—This is more like it,— Amelie said, feeling a genuine smile spread across her face. Dalton was clearly more relaxed, and she could see the tension melt away from his shoulders.
—Yeah, I can get used to this,— he said, throwing her a grin. —You know, I think I might actually be good at some of these games. Watch out, I’m going to kick your ass at air hockey.—
Amelie laughed, feeling the ease of the moment settle over her. —We’ll see about that,— she said, already eyeing the air hockey table in the corner.
They spent the next few hours bouncing between different games, both of them getting caught up in the nostalgia of it all. There was something so refreshing about not worrying about appearances, just letting go and having fun. Dalton was still a little awkward in his own way, but it wasn’t like he was trying too hard. He was genuine, and that was something Amelie could appreciate.
After a few rounds of air hockey, some rounds of skeeball, and a particularly competitive game of Pac-Man, they found themselves at a small table near the back, munching on boneless wings and fries with a couple of beers in hand. Amelie felt like she was finally starting to enjoy herself.
—Okay, so I have to admit, this was a good idea,— Dalton said between bites of his food, a playful grin on his face. —You’ve definitely got the better taste when it comes to dates.—
Amelie raised an eyebrow, smirking. —I’m just here for the wings and beer, but I guess you’re not too bad yourself.—
Dalton laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. —I’ll take that as a compliment. Glad to see you’re having fun, though. I was worried I might’ve blown it earlier with all that fancy dinner stuff.—
She waved her hand dismissively. —It’s fine. Honestly, I’m not a big fan of fancy places anymore anyway. When I was younger, maybe... but now, I’m just not into all the... pretentiousness.—
Dalton nodded, taking a sip of his beer. —Yeah, I totally get that. I don’t even know how to hold a wine glass properly, to be honest. Give me a cold beer any day.—
After finishing their food, they decided to take a walk around the arcade, letting the noise and chaos of it all sink in. Amelie was starting to feel more comfortable with Dalton, but there was still something missing—something she couldn’t quite put her finger on. It wasn’t that he was bad company; he was kind, funny, and easy to talk to. But the spark that people always talked about... it just wasn’t there for her.
By the time they were heading back to her apartment, Amelie could feel the alcohol kicking in, loosening her up more than she had anticipated. As Dalton pulled up to her building, she turned to him, an idea forming in her mind.
—Thanks for the night, Dalton. It was fun. Really,— she said, her voice soft.
—No problem. I had a blast too,— he replied, smiling at her.
Amelie hesitated, the alcohol in her system making her bold. Maybe it was the carefree mood of the night, or maybe it was the lingering desire to just... feel something. Whatever it was, she found herself blurting out, —Do you want to come up for a drink?—
Dalton’s eyes widened slightly, clearly surprised by the sudden invitation. But then, after a brief pause, he nodded, a half-smile tugging at his lips. —Yeah, I’d like that.—
Amelie led him up to her apartment, the door clicking shut behind them. The moment they were inside, the atmosphere shifted—lighter, but still charged with the lingering energy from their night out.
They shared a drink, chatting for a little while longer, but eventually, the conversation stopped. The silence between them wasn’t awkward, just... different. Amelie could feel Dalton’s eyes on her, and for the first time in a while, she was aware of how close they were.
Before she knew it, her hand was on his chest, and they were kissing. It wasn’t rushed or frantic, but there was a pull there, something deep and heavy, urging them both closer. And just like that, the night took on a different rhythm.
Hours passed, and by the time it was all over, Amelie lay in bed next to Dalton, the moonlight casting shadows on the walls. As he drifted off to sleep beside her, Amelie’s mind buzzed with thoughts.
Maybe he was a good guy. Maybe he deserved someone who felt more for him. But for Amelie, this wasn’t going to be the start of something. She didn’t feel the spark, the connection that would make her want more.
It was just... a night. Just a night to forget about the past, to let loose, and maybe that was enough for now.

chapter two: reconciliation

Tumblr media
You slowly opened your eyes and were greeted by the blurry sight of...no, the room wasn't blurry. You blinked a few times until your vision was clear.
The room you were in looked completely opposite of the hotel; the walls and furniture were hot pink and purple, there had to be at least fifty pillows on the bed, and a small pig was asleep next to you.
"Why is there a pig..." you whispered to yourself before sighing, body weighed down by exhaustion.
Bones aching, you slowly stood up and wandered over to what you guessed was the bathroom and took a look at yourself in the mirror. You were a mess—your wings were shredded and sticky with honey-colored blood, your eyes were droopy and bloodshot, and small bruises and cuts littered your arms and legs. You were also now in a tank top and pajama shorts that were clearly meant for someone taller. Any blood that had been on your face was wiped off hastily, a few smears near your mouth and eyebrow.
"Oh, you're up," a voice said from the doorway, causing you to jump and whip your head around. There stood a tall...spider? He laughed at your reaction. "I don't bite, toots. Unless ya want me to, but I doubt it."
"Are you a spider?" you blurted. "Sorry, sorry, that was rude—"
"No, you're fine," the spider(?) chuckled. "A humanoid spider, I guess. Call me Angel, toots, 'kay? A lot easier than 'spider boy.'"
"O-Okay," you nodded. "Where...where am I?"
"Well, whaddya remember?" Angel asked, sitting on the bed.
"I...I remember coming to the hotel," you said slowly, "and I knocked...knocked on the door, and this blonde girl was all...all worked up and asked if I was okay, and then she called Lucifer—oh my word, where's Lucifer?"
"Woah, woah, settle down," Angel Dust laughed. "He was worried about ya too, as soon as ya came in. Charlie—that was the blonde chick—sent him up to his room and told him to wait till ya woke up."
"What time is it?" you murmured.
"8:45," Angel Dust said, grabbing his phone off of the nightstand.
"AM?" you asked. When he nodded, you sighed wearily. "I slept all that time?"
"Ya knocked out at around 5:45, 6:00," Angel Dust shrugged. "You were snoring, though," he laughed.
"Oh my stars, is this your room?" you said. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to force you out of your room."
"It's alright, don't worry," Angel Dust held a pair of his hands up and shook his head. "I slept in Husky's room," he added like you were supposed to know who that was. He stood and opened the door for you. "C'mon, let's get you breakfast." You slowly walked out of the room and down the stairs, where there was a television and a few couches.
"Oh, you're awake!" the happy blonde girl—her name was Charlie, right—beamed. She took your hands and sat you down on one of the sofas. "Gosh, you must be starving! We'll get you breakfast and—ooh, wait, how about we take you to a breakfast place? You could get a mini tour of Hell!"
"She's dazed, Charlie," Angel Dust said, "give 'er a few."
"No, it's fine," you shook your head, "I'll go. Who would be going?"
"Oh, right! I should introduce you to everyone!" Charlie laughed. She pulled your hands to stand you up before pointing at the bar. "That's Husk, the one sleeping over there. He's our bartender. A very 'tough love' sorta guy, but you two will get along great! And you've already met Angel! That's Vaggie—she's my girlfriend—she's the one on that couch over there, and I think Alastor's up in his room. Niffty's the little one near the bar."
"Playing with the dead...bugs?" you said slowly with confusion.
"Eugh...yeah," Charlie grimaced. "Angel, do you have any more clothes she can borrow? We should probably go clothes shopping too..."
Tumblr media
You sat quietly in the booth, meeting the eyes that were staring at you (Charlie and Angel Dust).
"So, do people fuck in Heaven?" Angel Dust blurted.
You stayed quiet, your cheeks flushing profusely. "Um...Charlie, is--is your father alright?"
"Yeah, he's okay!" Charlie nodded. "He was really rattled when he saw you. Not in a bad way! He was constantly asking about you, wondering if you were okay. He was actually the one who got you into Angel's pajamas."
"That's nice," you smiled. You looked at the water in front of you. "Is the water in Hell...cursed?"
Angel Dust laughed loudly. "Oh, aren't you innocent? It's plain water, toots."
Your face flushed as you took a cautious sip of the water. To your surprise, it was quite nice.
"Did you order anything to eat?" Charlie asked.
"I don't know what any of the food is," you said. "I only recognized bacon, so I ordered a side of that."
"Oh, don't worry, you can have some of mine!" Charlie beamed.
"I'm alright," you shook your head. "I'm not very hungry." You looked up when the waiter came and accepted your food graciously. The bacon looked relatively normal and smelled fine, save for the fact that it was dripping with grease. You took small bites of the piece in your hand, your nails scratching the napkin in your lap.
"If you don't mind me asking," Charlie said, "how did you and my dad meet?"
///
You were sitting on the edge of the small pond in the Garden of Eden, staring curiously at the small, fluffy, yellow creatures swimming about.
"Admiring my creations?" Lucifer laughed, floating down to you.
"What are they?" you asked, staring at the creatures still.
"I call them ducks," Lucifer said as he sat, the smile evident in his voice. "Those are babies. I think I'll call them 'ducklings'. That sounds good, Y/N?"
"Yeah," you smiled, looking up at him. "I like them." You looked back at the ducks. "I think the other angels will like them, don't you think?"
Lucifer sighed nervously. "The higher-ups want me to stop making these new things. They said my ideas were too dangerous. I just think they hate creativity." He laughed.
You chuckled with him. "Well, I certainly don't."
///
"What's your name?" a voice called out, startling you.
Your head snapped up, eyes a little wider now. You stared at the small boy in front of you; his blond hair was nearly white, and he was wearing a white robe that dragged behind him. He looked curious.
"Y/N," you squeaked out. You were both little at that time, but you acted like he was an adult with how nervous you were. "What's yours?"
"Lucifer," he smiled. "But my friends call me Luci. Well, if I had a lot of friends, I bet they would."
"I can call you Luci," you offered.
"Really?" the boy beamed. He skipped over to you and looked down at your toys. "Whatcha playing?"
"I'm making a castle," you said, handing him a blue block. "You can make one. I have dollies, too."
"Is this the princess?" Lucifer picked up a doll with a pink dress. "Does she live in your castle?"
"Mhm," you nodded. "You can make a castle for the prince doll."
"Are the prince and princess in love?" Lucifer asked.
"Probably," you shrugged. "They can have a wedding, too, once he rescues her from the dragon."
"There's a dragon?" Lucifer gasped. "Don't worry, princess, Barnabus the Knight will come to the rescue!"
///
"Childhood friends," you said simply. "We were close before he...you know."
Best friends. Soulmates. Mourners.
"I bet you missed him," Charlie said sympathetically. "I'm sorry about that."
"I was sad then," you said, sipping the water. "I'm fine now."
I'd never wept so hard in my life.
They heard my screams and thought I was being murdered.
"We can have you talk to him when we get back," Charlie offered. "How does that sound?"
"Lovely," you smiled. "That'd be lovely."
Tumblr media
You found the door that Charlie had described to you and took a shaky breath before knocking once.
The door slowly creaked open a fraction, and a sliver of an eye could be seen in the crack before the door swung open.
"Y-Y/N," Lucifer gasped. He was trembling, his hair was disheveled, and his eyes were bloodshot. Did they always have bags under them?
You both stood there in silence for some time before a gut-wrenching sob ripped itself from your throat. Though it was a habit, you couldn't bear to cover your face; if this was all a dream, you needed to ensure that you could see him for as long as possible. Lucifer's face contorted into a pain-ridden look of sympathy before he sobbed with you, catching you in his arms as you crumpled.
"I missed you," you whispered. "I missed you so much."
"You came back," Lucifer wept, his hand running through your hair as though he believed it to all be fake. "You're back, you're really back."
"I tried to make them listen," you sobbed, pleading, almost. What you were pleading for was unclear even to you. "I swear, I tried to make them understand, but they didn't listen—"
"Shh," Lucifer soothed through his cries. "I know, I know. You always try so hard."
"They never listen," you bit back what felt like a shriek stuck in your throat.
"I know," he whispered. "But I do."

A Knotty Discovery
Pairing: Male Werewolf X Fem Chubby Human Reader
Warnings: Smut, Penetration, Knotting, Sex toys, Ruined Orgasm, Creampie
Summary: You come home to find that your extremely attractive Werewolf roommate has found your collection of knotted dildos.
🖤❤️💕💕❤️🖤
When you walked into your apartment, you were surprised not to see your roommate sitting on the couch in the living room. It was Sunday night, which was your traditional movie night together. Both of you worked but always ensured you were home by five on Sundays. Since you both had Mondays off, you made Sunday your weekly pizza and movie night, staying up late and enjoying each other’s presence.
Decker and you have lived together for over a year now, and honestly, you love it. The only problem was your small, well maybe not so small, crush on him. You couldn’t help it, though; he is just so amazing. He is the exact opposite of you. You are human, and he is a werewolf. While you are short and chubby, he is massively tall and made of muscle. You are soft and gentle, while he is hard and strong.
You cherish movie nights where he wraps an arm around you and pulls you close. You love leaning against his large body and nuzzling into his soft fur. He always manages to brighten your day and make you laugh. He takes care of you and makes you feel love. Unfortunately, he has never expressed any romantic interest in you, so you try to be content with having him as a friend.
It’s already past five, and Decker is usually getting everything set up for movie night by now. You set the pizza you brought home on the counter, thinking he must be running late. You head for your bedroom and decide to take the extra time to put on your cute pajamas.
You certainly had not been expecting to walk in and see Decker kneeling on the floor in front of your closet, your box of vibrators and dildos open in front of him. There are several knotted dildos on the floor beside him, and the largest one is gripped in his clawed hand. Your face heats up immediately, and you accidentally let out a small gasp at the sight.
The noise catches his attention, and his eyes immediately meet your own. You quickly look to the floor in embarrassment at his intense gaze. “Oh, no, pretty girl. Eyes on me. How long have you been hiding this? Hmm?”. You can’t seem to push any words out of your mouth, and you hear him moving because of your lack of response. You stand entirely frozen as he stops before you, using one hand to guide your eyes up to his.
“All these months, you have never shown any interest in monsters. The only male you went on a few dates with, being that loser human, and now I find all this. My adorable little human likes monster cock, well, werewolf cock specifically”, he says with a smirk. You try to pull away, your mortification at an all-time high at his words, but he doesn’t let you budge.
“Sweetheart, I don’t think you realize how much I have been holding myself back, thinking you had no interest in a werewolf like me. From the moment I met you, I wanted you sitting on my knot. I wanted to hold your plush body in my claws and never let you go, but I thought you wanted a human male. I had to keep myself from ripping your clothes off every fucking day”. You let out a needy whimper at his words, and a smirk appeared on his face once again.
“Baby, when you wear those little pajama shorts, and I can see your thick thighs, all I can think about is holding them in my hands as I thrust my cock inside you over and over. And last Sunday, when you wore that cute little nighty for our movie night, I swear I was hard all night. All I wanted to do was bend you over the side of the couch and knot you all night long. Your body looks so fucking breedable, baby, and I just want to fill you every moment of every day” he finishes his last statement with a low growl, and it goes straight to your panties.
You wet your lips and reply, “I.. I have always wanted you, Decker. I just didn’t think you were interested in me, so I never said anything”. He shakes his head and says, “Baby, how could I not want you? Everything about you makes me want to claim you, and that’s exactly what I plan on doing, but first, you are going to show me exactly what you do with those toys over there.
You feel a twinge of embarrassment at the thought, but it is quickly overpowered by arousal and lust at the thought of him watching you. He gives you a quick pat as you make your way over to the toys and reach for your medium-sized dildo.
“The big one, sweetheart. I must ensure you are nice and stretched out when I take you. I’m a lot bigger than your little toys over there”, he tells you, his voice a low purr. You almost moan at his words, the excitement of being so filled making you crave him even more.
You slowly take off your clothing, wanting to tease him a bit. As your panties hit the floor, you see Decker take a big inhale and moan. You blush under his gaze, and he gives you his signature wolfish grin.
You place the large dildo on the floor, the suction cup base holding it in place. You kneel over it, lining its tip up with your wet entrance. You look at him as you slowly let your weight push you down on the thick dildo. His eyes don’t leave your slick cunt as he moves one of his hands to squeeze his cock over his pants. You felt your mouth salivating at the sight.
You reach halfway down when you rise up again, leaving just the tip inside you before dropping back down. You continue this until the knot presses against your entrance on each downward stroke. You moan as you watch his eyes bounce all around your body. The dildo feels so good, but his eyes on you feel even better. You release soft whimpers and moans, and you work your body up and down.
“That’s it, baby. Keep riding. Fuck I love the sight of your greedy cunt swallowing that dildo. You look so fucking beautiful, baby. There you go. Go a little faster, baby. I wanna see those perfect tits bounce faster, little one. Fuck princess, I can’t wait to fill you with my cock. I wanna see you take that knot, baby. I wanna see your greedy little pussy stretch around it”, he growls out, lust lacing his voice.
You spread your legs wider and drop your pussy down lower. You move one of your fingers down to your swollen clit and rub tight circles on it. Pleasure slams through your body, and the knot fully pops inside your tight cunt. “Fu-Fuck Decker. I’m cumming. Fuck I’m cumming”, you cry out.
Just as your cunt clenches down at the beginning of probably the best orgasm of your life, Decker wraps his claws around your arms and pulls you up and off the dildo, the suction cup keeping it secured to the floor. You cry out at the ruined orgasm, your cunt trying to clench around nothing, and your clit pulsing in need of stimulation. Tears spring to your eyes as your thighs clench together, trying to get any stimulation at all. Decker is quick to reach one hand down and separate your legs, stopping any stimulation and ruining your orgasm completely.
You look at him in confusion and a hint of betrayal as tears stream down your face. He licks up the tears from your cheeks before saying, “Sorry, sweetheart, but I’ve decided that the first time we fuck, the only knot you are going to cum on is mine.” With that, he pushes you back to lie on the bed as he starts stripping his clothes.
You stare at every glorious inch of his body that gets exposed. Your need for him increases with each second. As his cock is revealed, you audibly gasp. He wasn’t lying when he said he was bigger than your toys. His cock is so giant that even fully hard, it hangs down towards the floor, too heavy to stand upright. The knot at the base is larger than your fist, and your nipples harden even more at the thought of him forcing it inside you.
“Tell me you want it, princess. I need you to tell me now because once I start, I won’t be able to stop. I’ve thought about this for far too long to be able to hold back once I finally have you,” he says, giving you one last chance to back out.
You spread your legs wide, making sure your dripping pussy is entirely on display, and reply, “Please, Decker. Please, I want this, I need this, I need you. Please fill me. Make me yours”. He is on you before you even finish. He pushes your legs up and over his shoulders, his cock resting over your pussy and your lower belly. He thrusts his cock back and forth but holds back from entering you, just working on covering himself in your slick juices.
“Mmmm, I love how soft your body is, baby. So fucking perfect in every way. Drives me fucking mad”, he growls out. Each brush of his cock rubs your pulsing clit, and all you want is for him to push inside you. You are just about to start begging when he finally lines himself up with your needy hole and pushes in. He only goes about halfway, but you are already crying out at the feeling.
He moans your name and keeps thrusting, moving deeper and deeper with each stroke. He watches your body open up for him, mumbling the word perfect under his breath. On his next thrust, his knot hits your entrance, and he seems to lose all control. He grabs onto your love handles and starts fucking you like an animal.
You cry out in ecstasy at feeling so full, his cock slamming into your g-spot brutally on every thrust. Your hands grip his forearms, needing to hold on and ground yourself as he fucks you like he owns you. “Fuck Decker… you feel so good. Don-don’t stop. Please don’t stop. Please”.
He moans at your begging, leaning forward to cover your body with his own. Your knees are pushed up towards your shoulders, and his body keeps you in place, unable to move. You cum with a cry of his name, squirting on his cock from the pleasure.
He doesn’t give you any time to recover as he continues using your puffy pussy. You whimper at the overstimulation that sets in, but you don’t want him to stop. You need to feel him knot you. You need to feel him fill you with his cum.
“Your pussy is fucking heaven, baby. I’m never fucking letting you go. Do you hear me? You’re MINE.” he says as his thrusts speed up. His hips slammed against you and pushed you down into the mattress. You only manage to whimper and moan in response, tears streaming down your chubby cheeks in pleasure.
He pulls back almost entirely before slamming his hips down, pressing his knot against your entrance and keeping it there as he tries to push it in. Your entrance puts up a good fight, and he growls, angry at the denial of entry. You start to question whether or not he will be able to fit his knot inside when he shifts his weight so almost all of it is in his hips, pushing his knot harder against your dripping cunt.
Gravity seems to be on his side as his knot is forced into your tight cunt as he drops down against you completely. You scream out his name at the insane stretch, never having been this filled, his tip kissing your womb. Your arms wrap around his back as your nails dig into his fur. He starts his thrusts again, but this time shallow as his knot stays stuck inside of you. Each stroke causes your body to jiggle beneath him, your nipples rubbing against his hairy chest, sending shocks of pleasure to your aching clit.
He pulls his hips back, and his cock pulls your bottom half off the bed by your swollen cunt, before he drops back down. He groans with the motion and continues repeating it. You cry out each time, your pussy overfilled and overwhelmed with the sensation of him.
He slams you down once more, and your legs begin to shake with pleasure. You scream out his name as your cunt once again clamps down on his massive cock, milking him with everything you have. You feel his cock twitching as he lets out a loud growl followed by swears. His cock begins filling you to the brim with his seed. Your already too-full pussy is being filled even more. Your lower stomach bloats and hardens as he cums and cums and cums, his knot not allowing even a single drop of his seed to drip from your cunt.
You cling to him as you both come down, trying to regulate the air in your lungs. He keeps you pressed to him as he rolls onto his back, draping you over his warm chest. You stay like this for a few minutes, just enjoying the feeling of each other’s embrace. As your mind starts returning, you sit up slightly to look at him.
“Why were you going through my closet?” you ask him. He gives you a soft smile and answers, “I was setting up for movie night and wanted to get that fuzzy throw blanket you keep on the couch in the winter. It’s a little cold today, so I thought you might enjoy it. I remember you saying you were putting it in the closet, so I went looking for it.”.
You smile at his thoughtfulness and place a loving peck on his snout. “The throw blanket is in the hallway closet for future reference.” He stares at you for a moment before laughing. His chest rises and falls, causing you to shake up and down. His laughter is quickly interrupted by a moan as your pussy shifts on his cock from the movement.
“Well, we probably have another 30 minutes to rest while my knot goes down, and then we can start movie night. Although I think this time I’ll have you seated on my lap with my cock and knot nice and warm in your perfect little cunt”.
You smile approvingly, moving your head back to snuggle into his warm chest. You never thought you would be thankful that your roommate found your knotted dildos.

Your husband has an insatiable appetite. Such a big man he is; he towers over you, so much so that you must tip your head back always to look up at him. You had to make many arrangements in your house to accommodate his hunger–a pantry stocked full of eggs and less fabric for your skirts.
Your house isn’t like others. Neither you nor Ghost have ever lived in luxury. When he showed you your home for the first time, you had shaken your head–you didn’t believe that such a large place was supposed to be yours, and even now, sometimes you feel like a stranger, out of place when the maids ask you what you want for supper or where you’d like to take your afternoon tea. You don’t like the fuss, the asking, the women that curtsy when you come near, concentrated over the creases in your skirts or the loose thread of your sleeve or the wispy hairs that fall out of your braids. You are told all the time that you must behave like a duchess, that you must poise yourself with your new title and your new money, and you must do the things that duchesses do–but no one says the same to your husband.
He is still allowed to sleep in the barracks. Lick the blood off his gauntlets. Polish his sword in the dirt. He’s still allowed to be everything that you cannot be anymore, he still lives the life he had before.
He still kills; and he is still very, very good at it.
Your queen told you in a letter that the king is very pleased. Ever since your union, Ghost has been quite the conqueror. Bloodthirsty and very determined, your husband has been taking his men across the water. He is not any less impressive off land. Not even the pirates have tried to negotiate; they bend the knee or taste the salt water. You breathe shakily when you read your queen’s letters—her praise for your husband’s conquests, how blessed your family will be and how valuable you are to the crown, how grateful she is that Ghost is no longer a fiend in court but rather a little more polite and a little quieter.
All for your sake. Ghost’s name is now your own, and he refuses to embarrass you now that you have it.
You won’t lie; the bodies that Ghost has stacked since you’ve been wed do not scare you. He’s doing it for you. He has never said it out loud, never told you so, but you know it. He wants to show you what kind man that he is, what kind of soldier—you know he’s trying to prove himself worthy. If he killed a thousand men to have you, how many will he slaughter to keep you?
He sends you letters of his own. Not many, but he does send letters, and while Ghost seems to be ineloquent and entirely too brutish, he has quite the voice when he writes.
To my wife,
The sun falls quicker here. I’d like to come home. Tell me of your day, and I will tell you of mine. There were a fleet of ships that came to meet us at dawn. When we sank three, they begged for us to spare the rest.
I have you to think about now. So I burned them.
Simon
A poet, your beloved.
He signs his real name in his letters. Your eyes skim over most of it–you don’t even blink when he tells you what he does to them. Sometimes he writes in great detail about the screams of a hundred souls, the way burning flesh smells, the taste of dirt in a new place when you know it is finally yours. He doesn’t like having secrets. He tells you all his thoughts, even if they might scare you, because you are his wife, and he has discovered quite quickly that you have been cut from the same cloth.
Even when he is home, and he tells you these things all over again, he can’t help the way his cock hardens when you merely blink and ask him if he has added any scars to his collection.
Ravenous, naughty little duchess, and you are all his. He knows he picked well–he knows, he knows he wasn’t wrong when he saw you across the throne room hiding behind his queen, he knows now that he was right about what he saw in your eyes.
You do hate when he’s away. You’re not used to the maids helping you dress, and you secretly abhor the help. That is why when you hear the shuffle of your house early in the morning, your heart thuds in your chest knowing he’s home.
The staff get antsy when Simon is around. He is very good at keeping an estate for someone that has never had to or ever been taught to, but he leaves the responsibilities with you and only you every time he goes. He doesn’t trust anyone else to do it, and every time he comes back, he makes you sit on one big thigh as he teaches you something new that you need to remember for when he goes away. He demands much of those he employs, and they are eager to please him. Whether it is because they respect him or are afraid of him, you aren’t sure.
Perhaps it’s both.
You sit up as the bedroom door opens. You smile, big and wide and sleepy as he steps into the room. He shuts the door with his boot, slipping his hood off, and you sigh as he grips the clasp of his mask and unhooks it. He tosses it onto the floor, bare-faced, and as he makes his way towards the bed, he sheds the rest of his clothes until he’s completely naked.
You cannot stop yourself from the shaky breath you take. He is all muscle and fat, strong and entirely too scary, but it’s hard to focus on what he really is when he stands before you like this. He has fat thighs, big shoulders, carved muscle of intense labor around his middle and along his biceps. He has large hands with calloused palms and split knuckles, and your eyes meet his own as he comes closer. He’s so gorgeous, even with a face like that. He has a long scar that stretches from one brow to his lower jaw, another that cuts his nose and splits his lip, but those eyes are dark and lovely, and you can’t help the warmth that comes over you when he catches you staring at him, closer, right to his cock that hangs heavy between his legs.
Just as he begins to lower himself onto the bed, you hold out a hand, giggling.
“Simon, if you think you are getting into this bed without a proper bath, you’re mistaken!” You laugh, and he raises a brow.
“Mmm…” He smacks his lips together. “Tha’ right, my lady?” He clicks his tongue. “This is my bed. ’s oll mine. Every blanket…every pillow…” He grips your ankle from under the covers and yanks you towards him. “And every part of you.”
You giggle again, shaking your head, “Please, Simon!” You push him away with your toes. “They only changed the sheets yesterday. You’ll dirty them…” You flutter your lashes. “Will you bathe if I join you?”
He grins wide, licking over his teeth.
“Can’t refuse an offer like tha’.”
You hold out your hand for him, and he takes it gently. You watch as he brings your knuckles towards his mouth, and you bite back a smile when he decides to kiss each one, slow. He tugs finally, pulling you up, and you wrap your arms around his neck as he hoists you up into his arms. You would worry about your weight normally, but Simon holds you so easily, barely even a grunt as he wraps your legs around his middle. You don’t waste another second, cupping his cheeks in your hands and kissing him softly.
It’s never just a kiss with Simon. He slides one of his hands up your back, into your hair, and you whine as he tips your head back just enough to slip his tongue into your mouth. Simon doesn’t just kiss, he consumes. What he did to get back to you, the things he endured, the places he has seen and the bodies he has buried and burned and scattered across the places he now calls country, it’s always to get back to this place.
To you.
“How’s my boy?” He asks when you pull away. He carries you to another room, to where the tub sits, and he rings a bell by the door to call the maids in. You snatch a robe off a hook and cover him with it as he sits with you, but all he does is put a few fingers under your chin and make you look at him again. “Oi. Asked ya question, luv.”
Your lip wobbles a little, and you look away.
“I…”  You wait until the maids have gone to fetch hot water to tell him. “I bled while you were gone. I…”  You smooth your hands over the robe, distracting yourself. “I’m…I’m sorry, Simon.”
You close your eyes as he leans close, resting his forehead against yours, and you shake a little as he lets out a warm breath against your lips. He moves a warm hand over your soft stomach, cupping you there, and you lean your head back a little at the tender touch.
“It will happen,” he says finally, and your mouth opens to respond, but he sticks his thumb between your lips to shut you up. He doesn’t want to hear you blame yourself. If it’s anyone’s fault, it’s his, for not being here with you, for not be able to take care of you. You give in, suckling on the salt of him, and he grits his teeth as he watches you. “I know. Seen it in m’dreams.”
Simon has dreams. Lots of dreams, but he tells you that they are not dreams, they are glimpses into something that has already happened. When you asked if he was some kind of seer, the kind that the king used to have at parties, Simon doesn’t laugh.
He says the dreams are why he knows he won’t die. Why he is never afraid, because he knows somewhere behind his eyes what’s to come even if he didn’t see the entire painting of it. It is why he knew he would marry you; it is why he paid you so much attention, why he knew he would win his battles, why he always knows whose blood it is in his mouth because he has tasted their death before and relishes in the knowing of it all, in the certainty.
It’s never I think, it is always I know, and Simon is nothing if he is not the most honest man that you know.
So if he says you will have his babe, it is as good as truth. As green as the grass grows beneath his feet, as blue as his sky, and as red as the blood that is caked underneath his nails.
When the tub is filled with water, you let Simon sink into it first. You kneel beside it, picking up a glass of oil, pouring it into your palms before sinking your hands into his hair. It’s gotten longer since he left, in need of a cut, but you smile when he leans his head back into your shoulder. You can feel his content as he relaxes into you, and you admire his physique as you use the warm water and scrub the mud and grime off of him.
“I missed you, husband,” you whisper, and he only lets you massage his hair for a few more moments before he grips you by the wrist and tugs you forward, right into the bath. “Simon!” you laugh, “my night dress—oh!—it’s ruined!”
“Too far away,” he mutters, practically ripping the silk off of you as he tosses it besides the bath. “Mmm…” He cups your breasts with two big hands, smoothing his thumbs over your nipples, and you whine a little as he pulls at them just enough to make them stiffen. “Y’should be naked when I come home,” he says lowly. “I’ll soil y’r bloody gown next time, m’lady.”
You giggle, and he smiles. A real smile. As real as he’ll ever give anyone, maybe the only one that anyone has ever even seen. He has never shown his face in court, and while it angers the women and irks the men, you revel in the fact that all of this is only for you.
Mine. Mine. Mine.
You kiss him softly. The water sloshes, warm and inviting, and sometimes you forget your life used to be anything but joy. A year ago, you would not believe that you would be here, titled, wealthy, in a stone room lit by candles bathing with a blood hungry ghost.
A year ago, you trembled whenever he looked at you. You cowered when you heard his footsteps. What a stupid little girl you had been. What a fool. She had no idea what she could have, the kinds of things she could hold in her hand.
Real power wasn’t being able to command a room with your words. Real power was being able to say anything and have it be believed as truth. Real power was making someone look in one direction and have them see what you see, even if what you see isn’t real.
He lays you down in your bed afterward and eats. Your wet hair soaks the sheets, but you can’t seem to be really bothered as he fits your legs over his shoulders and bends you at the waist, his mouth suctioned to your clit as he eats you slowly. One of his hands is spread out over your tummy, the other you can hear making a squelch as he fists his own cock. It’s slow and methodical, and he slides his tongue between your folds firm, catching what dribbles from you on the tip of his tongue before he swallows it and leans in for more.
He has eaten you in nearly every room in your house. Frightened the cooks tossing you onto the dining table, given a servant a scare as he ducked under your skirts in the library, had the gardeners fleeing as he dropped you onto the grass near the lake and disappeared with a frenzy to eat your cunt during sunrise. It’s maddening, the kind of need that Simon requires, but it’s hard to refuse when you feel so warm and bubbly and happy after he’s finished. A pampered princess you are, never lifting a finger, only awake long enough when he’s home to eat until you’re full and cum until you fall asleep again.
Maybe that’s why you’re not pregnant yet. Simon likes to be here, between your thighs, mouth fixed on your wet pussy until he’s practically exhausted himself with a sore jaw and lax tongue.
He kisses you sloppy after. Licking into your mouth, practically spitting onto your tongue, wanting you to taste—tastes so good, luvvie, don’t ya see, yeah?—wanting you to know why he’s so eager to be on his knees all the time.
You sniffle, a little dizzy, shaking your head.
“’s not what I really want,” is all you whimper, and he nods, because he knows, he always knows.
“I know, luv. I know wot ya really need.”
“I must be broken,” you sob, cradling his face in your hands, and he shakes his head.
“Not broken,” Simon assures you. He speaks so surely that it’s hard not to believe him. “It wasn’t time.”
“You can’t see the future, Simon! You don’t know!” You cry, and he snarls a little, shaking his head again.
“You listen t’me,” he growls. You shake a little as he grabs your face with one hand, fixing your jaw under his grip as he holds onto you firmly. “Wot I say goes. Y’r my wife, so listen t’me, and listen t’me good. Y’r not broken. Not time. Say it back t’me.”
Your lip trembles, and he rattles your head a little.
“Say it,” he snaps, and you hiccup.
“It’s not time,” you whisper, and he plants a fat kiss onto your tear-soaked lips.
“Just need my cock, luv,” he murmurs. “Tha’s oll. Just need me t’fuck it outta ya.”
You nod, pressing your face to his, and he tuts, reaching down and spreading your legs wide to accommodate him between them as he lays over you.
“’s oll y’need,” he repeats, and you nod again.
You have to take another bath in the same morning; and this time, you weren’t able to walk there.
You like when Simon is home because it’s quiet. The only one that dotes on you here is Simon. The maids do not dress you or do your hair or moisturize your skin. It’s always Simon.
You smile at him in the mirror as you sit at your vanity. He has a brush in one hand, and he’s using it delicately to detangle your hair how you like. His hands are practiced and gentle, and when he finishes, he leans over you as he starts to part your hair to braid it. He did not have sisters, but his mother had him always do her hair after she lost the use of her hands with age. You don’t know where his mother is, but you assume she is not here anymore, because he never invites you to meet her.
He oils your skin. He slips the robe off of you, revealing your damp skin from the bath, and he slathers oil in his hands before using it to soften your skin. He takes his time, smoothing those big hands over your shoulders, down your back, along your arms. You tilt your head back when he warms your breasts, squeezing and fondling your tits. He murmurs in your ear the entire time, and he has to fuck you with his fingers to quiet you when he stops because just his hands on your tits has you wet all over again.
He dresses you, too. Helps you slip into your undergarments, fastens the cage for your skirts over your hips. He ties them skillfully, and after he layers your skirts over the farthingale, he gets you into your corset. It’s intimate as he does this. Even with your wide skirt, he comes closer, over your shoulder, and he tugs at the laces at your back, pulling it tight with firm grunts. You sigh when he buries his face into the crook of your neck, his hand skimming over your breasts as they sit nice and perky between stiff fabric and whalebone.
“Fuck,” he mutters. “Fuck, unnerving…the way ya look…”
You close your eyes, “S-Simon, please…I’m already dressed…”
He chuckles, “I know. I know.”
But when he has to leave again, you nearly come with him. You fasten his armor for him, help him slip each piece of leather on and click every piece of metal into place. You tie his cloak and slip his mask on, and you try and duck your head when you flip his hood up, but he catches you, tilting your chin up.
He huffs when he sees your face. Tears sliding down your cheeks, lips wet with them, eyes all glassy and red. He draws you up onto your toes, pressing his mouth to yours through the mask, and you hold onto him tightly, digging your nails into his chest armor and threatening to not let go.
“I want to go.“
“No.”
“Simon, let me go,” You gasp, begging, gripping his hood in firm fists and not caring that his armor is cutting into your front. “Let me go with you, I can’t do this anymore, I want to go, I can do it.”
You aren’t sure if Simon underestimates you. You think it’s more that he does not want you to see him in a place where he is most true. Where he wears the least of a disguise. He does not know he wears it the least with you, and that you have already seen his blood and how it curdles under his skin. You like it that way. You like him angry…and mean…and terrible. You like him when his sword is dirty and his armor needs polishing and his mind thinks of nothing else besides war. He should know this by now. He should know that you see him and see what he is even more than his king, more than his men.
He couldn’t scare you, even if he tried.
“War is not where women go,” Simon snaps. His tone is harsh, even for you, and you stiffen when he grips you by the jaw and rattles your head a little. “Especially not one like you, my love. War would eat ya, eat ya fuckin’ whole. Look at ya…” He huffs, deep, sliding that gloved hand down your throat to slip it beneath the neckline of your dress and fondle your breast with a firm grip. “Beautiful. Meant for my lips…for these dresses…meant to be held in my hands, not bleed from stray arrows, because tha’ is surely the least of wot they would do t’ya if they knew ya were my wife. Now ya will wipe these tears, ‘n see me off, and then ya will come back inside like a good girl, ‘n you will wait for me here until I come back.”
Your bottom lip trembles, and you scowl up at him. Not indifference, but frustration, and Simon doesn’t think it suits you.
“I’m sick of waiting for you, Simon,” you spit. “It’s all I ever do, wait. Wait for you to come back, alive or dead, I never know. And don’t say you do this for country, that is a lie.” You shove him backwards, but he barely budges when your hands touch his chest, a rigid wall that does not give. “You do it because you like it. You’re a bloodthirsty dog, and all you do is bend to our king’s will.”
A lie, but you tell it anyways, because you want something, and he will not give it to you.
“That is my duty.”
“Your duty is to me,” you snap. “Kings come and go, but I will not.” Simon stills. He glares down at you from behind his mask, and perhaps this might terrify his men, but that you are not. You are his wife, and you are protected by that title alone. The only man to ever lay a hand on you would not live to see another second, himself included. “Now you will let me join you, or so help me God, Simon, I will not be here when you return.”
You do not expect the full-bellied laugh that leaves him. His armor shakes with him, and you grind your teeth, narrowing your eyes. He uses his thumb to force his mask up, and then he cups the back of your head and draws you in for a sloppy kiss. You resist at first, but when he feeds you his tongue, you melt. You kiss him back, letting him draw you closer, and you sigh as he tangles his fingers into your hair and cradles you with those big hands.
There is nothing more to say. Simon neither confirms nor denies, but you taste it in his mouth, his devotion. Not wrong, not right, but just so–he has many responsibilities, but you are the only one that will remain the same. One day, his king will die, and he will serve another, but the space you have made beside him will never change. Even when you die, because he knows you will go before him, there will never be someone else to fill it. You and you only, the woman he found and made his, the one he demanded lest he kill his own country for it, it will always be you. Soft and sweet, you are, but the Lord knew Simon could only have one woman, and he made it be you; the one spitfire enough to defy her own king because she trusted his love enough for it.
Would you commit treason to save his life? Would you watch a king die if it meant your beloved lived?
Would he?
He thinks about what you have said when he takes his fleet across the water. He runs his tongue over his teeth behind his mask, breathing deep when he thinks about your proclamations of duty. Of change. Of what remains when other things move, of the kind of life that waits for him when he comes and goes with a king’s order. He thinks about how easily he is taken away from you, and he knows there is truth in what you feel. It is not really Simon that sacrifices, it is what he leaves behind, and that is you.
It’s never angered him before. He had accepted the fact, as early as your wedding day, that he would leave and come back, then leave again. It has always been the way of his life, come desire or not, so it bothers him that of all the things that surprised him in his life, it would be missing someone that shocked him the most.
Missing his wife. Missing the serene perfection of one woman, and the perfect place between her soft thighs. Every day that he finds himself between them is the best day of his life, he reckons, so now he feels bitter about staring at a freezing ocean amongst his men because he will go weeks without her.
Her. Her. Her.
He is bitter, yes, until he is not.
It comes in a letter from a messenger on horseback. They have been stationed in a foreign land for weeks now, watching slowly as the stone walls of a castle at their front crumples day after day from the stones filled with powder that ignite what is wood and break what is rock. The letter is sealed with wax, with the motif of a snake. It is given directly to Simon, whose name is scribbled in the letter, and when he reads it, he tastes ichor and smoke.
So the great phantom has come to seal my fate. I am not in the business of letting what is mine be taken. Even if you have brought your all, it won’t be taken from me.
I heard you have a beautiful new wife. I heard you paid for her in blood.
I shall do the same. I will hang your sword above our marriage bed.
Ghost is not someone that bends to the threats from foe he cannot look in the eye. Words are so empty. It is nothing like when he stands just a few meters apart from them, eyes fixed against one another, as they decide whether today they want to live or they want to die. The letter means nothing, but he’s surprised by the heat that bubbles under his ribs at the mention of his bride. He meant it when he said you were not meant for war, and that meant in this regard, too–nobody was allowed to talk about you, not like this, not ever.
When his king orders him home, Ghost crumples the note and tosses it into embers. He watches it burn, and then he orders his men to set to flame the ground around the stone walls.
So men like him can be goaded, it seems. His resolve is not as strong as he thought.
The weeks make you anxious. All you do is sit and collect dues and tell the maids which dress you want to wear and which you do not. It is peaceful and boring, and you wish Simon was here to make your days more exciting, but he is not.
His letters are the only things that keep you occupied, truly. He writes to you about war and loneliness, and you write to him about the mundane of domesticity and the ache he leaves behind. Sometimes, his letters come folded with pressed flowers he finds along the way, and you start to collect them, putting them away in small boxes or using them as bookmarks as you go through Simon’s library.
He has many books. His most loved books are those of war, of history, and you smooth your fingers over the pages he has dogeared and find comfort in reading the same words that he once did. You learn, as well. While in your studies as a girl, they made you learn arithmetic and the flowery bits of history and art, here in Simon’s house, you learn of strategy and weaponry and military tactic. Sometimes you disagree, and you write about these disagreements to Simon, and he writes back, pleased with your observations. He told you once that if you were a man, he would want you in that tent with him, beside him, deciding on which formations to take and when to strike. You responded saying that you could be that for him anyway. What did your sex have anything to do with whether you were right or wrong?
Simon agreed.
But I would never invite you here, dear wife. You have to understand that.
When your queen asks for your audience for dinner, you oblige easily; finally, you have something to do rather than add up numbers or sign a document on Simon’s behalf or read another fucking book.
You don’t want to wear all the costume your maids insist on, but you appease them after they repeatedly explain to you what your title means. With a drawn face, you let them tie your corset and layer your skirts, and you watch in the mirror as they braid your hair and drape large, obnoxious jewels over you. You grimace at the tiara they fit into your hair, and your elderly handmaid pinches your cheeks and tells you to put on a fair countenance, Your Grace, lest you make the Duke look ungrateful.
You bite your tongue from snapping at her. She should know that Simon would say nothing about your countenance; all he would do is fix whatever was bothering you until you smiled again.
You arrive early enough to have tea. Your queen is so excited to see you; she gushes when you meet her in the throne room, pulling you up from your curtsy so she can hug you tight, squealing. When you try to address her with a curt “Your Majesty,” she shakes her head, pressing her hands to your cheeks and giggling, “No need for formalities now. Call me Victoria.”
You hide your displeasure with a small smile. Now that you are no longer her lady-in-waiting, she allows you her name. Is it because she sees you more as equals, or because now you’re allowed to be somewhat of friends?
You must be some kind of friend. She sizes you up like you are one. She wears England’s colors this afternoon. A fire red dress adorned with gold accents, a dragon pin holding her shawl. She wears magnificent red and gold jewelry, but she’s looking at your dress, and you can see the slight twitch of her eye. You are wearing French lace, and she doesn’t like it. Or maybe she doesn’t like the color, the accents of navy blue and silver that you wear.
The skull motif that is woven into your tiara and printed on your coat and sewn into your dress. Does it insult her? That all your life, you wore nothing but browns and beiges and grays, were invisible to her, and now you represent your house, visit her as your guest, and bear an honorable name?
You were no one when you served her. Just a girl, no close family, no friends, just a distant uncle who gave you to the crown that hoped you could be of service. That was to be your duty for all your life–to serve the king’s wife until she wanted you no more or until she was gone. To cater to her every need and every wish, no matter the time of day or night.
Now you sit across her, more noble. Refined. Wearing a dress she despises, perhaps because she likes it more than her own.
Over tea, she gossips about the other ladies she has visit. You’ve heard this before, but you’ve never been included in the conversation. She talks to you, and she wants to hear your opinion, and you find yourself uneasy as you try to think of what to say. She is your queen, and you want her to like you. When you worked for her, you earned her favor by always warming up her jewels before she put them on, by making sure she had her tea ready in the morning at her bedside, by always holding the fan she so loved for when she inevitably had a hot flash. Now, as her friend, you weren’t exactly sure what to do. You suck in a soft breath and look at her, and then you purse your lips.
You think it best to agree with her. To be on her side. You might not be her direct servant any longer, but you still must fall under her favor. A queen’s favor can be just as powerful, especially if she occasionally has the ear of her husband.
“Well, that’s not very kind of her,” you say finally, and she laughs.
“No! She’s such a prude. I think her husband doesn’t sleep in her bed enough, if you know what I mean,” she winks at you. You giggle at that. “Speaking of husbands–” She pops another cake in her mouth. “How is yours?”
You reach up and tug at your necklace a bit, smiling nervously.
“Oh, uh…” You clear your throat, “He’s doing very well. I hear his latest campaign is quite the success. His majesty is very smart, heading for the east that way, I’m sure they will be victorious soon enough.”
Victoria smiles at the thought of her husband. His intelligence. She always used to talk to you about how many hours he worked, how she hated when he was away, how she wished he was home more so he could give her a son because she was so, so lonely.
“Wise words from the duchess, aye, my love?”
You jump a bit at the low voice from behind, and when you turn, you gasp, immediately standing and falling into a delicate curtsy. John Price waves his hand, coming further into the room, shaking his head.
“It’s alright,” he tells you. “Please, sit. You’re here as my guest.”
You stand and lift your head, trying to relax. You take a seat, smiling nervously, and Victoria smiles giddily at her husband. When he bends to kiss her cheek, she fawns, reaching for his hand and squeezing it before taking another piece of tart and eating it. John hums before motioning for one of the staff to fill your cup again with tea. He eyes you curiously, taking in your appearance. You sit up at that, performatively brushing off over the skull pattern on your corset. John runs his tongue over his teeth, smoothing a big palm down his wife’s long coils of hair.
“Since you’re here, I’d like a word, if that’s alright,” John says to you. His tone carries a little more authority now, and Victoria sighs, whining a little.
“John, please, she’s my friend. Can’t it wait–”
“That wasn’t a question, Victoria,” John bites. Her face falls a little. She swallows and tucks her hands into her lap. You’re reminded as you look at the slight wobble of her lip that there is no one truly above John Price, not even her. You keep your face neutral, but if you were invisible, you’d pity her.
What a shame her husband sees her as less than. How embarrassing. Your Simon would never. Your Simon waits until you finish speaking before speaking himself. Your husband kneels to take off your shoes, your husband tears your skirts to get a taste of you, your husband used his teeth to sever a man’s throat just to have your hand.
What did John Price do to get his wife? Who did John Price kill to have her hand? How many bruises did he earn around his knees on their wedding night from eating her out? As many as Simon, whose knees were black and blue by morning?
No, you suppose not. How unfortunate. How pathetic.
Victoria picks up her skirt and stands, pasting a big smile on her face. It doesn’t reach her eyes, and you can see the way her hands shake a little as she scurries off. She scowls as soon as she turns away from John, clearly annoyed.
“I’ll go check on dinner,” she says, but it is soft and unenthusiastic.
When she goes, the room falls quiet. At the nod of John’s head, the staff leave, and you keep still in your seat as John sits across from you, picking up one of the cakes in front of him and breaking off a piece to busy himself. He keeps his eyes on his task of cutting up the cake in small pieces, focused on his hands and how they work. You watch him carefully, steeling yourself.
You anticipate a conversation between man and woman, not a king and his lesser.
“Simon’s been away for some time. I bet that’s difficult for you.”
You straighten your posture, realizing what this conversation will be. By his tone, John seems to think you a bored, stupid housewife, perhaps. Uneducated. A woman, no thoughts in her head. You let your face relax, and you fold your hands in your lap. Maybe now is the time John should learn who you are and who you are not.
What you have become and what you no longer are.
“I do just fine, Your Majesty,” you say finally. You pick up a spoon and drop a cube of sugar into your tea, and you stir, picking it up to take a long sip. John is curious by your content. You have a quick tongue. “I could say the same to you, couldn’t I?”
John laughs. He narrows his eyes a bit at your clever response, taking a large bite of the cake and running a cloth over his beard. His eyes sparkle a little.
“So you know.”
“Know what, Your Majesty?”
“You know I gave Simon orders. And you know he didn’t listen to me.”
You purse your lips, but he sees the shine in your eyes. The lack of surprise. His face twitches a bit, and you shake your head. You blink slow, and it irks him to see you so calm. He is your king, and Simon answers to him, and you are his wife, so you must answer, too.
“I’m not sure I know what you’re talking about.”
“I could have your husband’s head cut off for treason for that, you’re aware, aren’t you?”
You tilt your head to the side. What an odd thing for John to say. What an odd thing for John to contemplate, since it would never come to pass. “Don’t be daft, my king. You wouldn’t want to do that.”
John slams his fist on the table, making the plates and cups rattle with his frustration, but you do not even flinch. You blink, stone-faced, and it makes his nostrils flare. He recognizes that glare, he knows it well. He has seen it before, stared it down many times in rooms just like this. Only now, he is not fighting for land, he fights for control of the one man that he has always been able to rely on. Simon has followed him into battles outnumbered by a thousand men, and only now he ignores an order? Only now he chooses something different?
“Now, let’s be civil, Your Majesty,” you say softly. You smile at him, leaning your head in your hand. “Is there something that you need from me? I have a feeling you might have encouraged this dinner just so you could see me in passing, so why don’t you just ask me what you wanted to ask me?”
John lets out a deep breath, leaning his elbows on the table, lowering his voice. He leans towards you, and you admire how blue his eyes are. John is quite a handsome king, but he does not captivate you. It has been a long time since John has tasted blood, and he lacks the edge that you crave dearly.
“I need him back here, is what I need,” John murmurs.
“My king, I couldn’t get him back here any more than you could, even if I wanted to.”
“Now who’s being daft?”
You scoff, leaning back in your chair. John is not a stupid man. He created a beast of a man, and he is trying not to poke it too hard. You shift, brushing down your skirts, and you let out a low breath.
“Why did he refuse?” You ask finally.
“What?”
“Why does he ignore your order to come back?” You ask again. “I can’t think of a lot of reasons why he would stay. So why did he ignore you?”
John clicks his tongue, smoothing a few of his fingers over his beard. He averts his eyes, looking out the tall windows, frowning a little at the grim weather. The weather is always grim here, but it irks him at the moment, makes him scowl a little harder.
“I was…informed that there was some sort of letter,” John explains. “Some threat.”
“I don’t follow. He gets lots of threats. And terrible letters.”
“Was about you this time, Your Grace.”
You close your eyes at that, shaking your head. Simon would never be so foolish as to be baited by baseless threats. He barely bats an eye when someone even in front of him draws his sword. He is so comforted by his ability to win, by his dreams and his visions that have not yet happened.
“That’s absurd,” you breathe. “Simon wouldn’t…”
John chuckles, but there is no humor there. “Wouldn’t he?”
“I still don’t understand what you expect me to do,” you roll your eyes, looking away. “Simon is…he’s not…he doesn’t listen. It’s why he’s good at this, isn’t it? He doesn’t really take orders, he’s…I…”
John has never complained before about the way Simon chooses to lead. Oftentimes, it is an order ignored that has made it so that he delivered another crown at John’s feet. Simon asks for forgiveness, not permission, and John has barely batted at eye at it. He sees Simon as some kind of distant son, but this refusal bothers him so?
John leans forward. “You need to understand something here, Simon is a rabid dog,” he spits. “And sometimes I let him off his lead, but this isn’t like anything I’ve had to deal with. I need you to call him back here.” He scoots closer. “England needs you to call him back here. To me.”
You narrow your eyes a little. England needs you to call him back? What kind of sick sense of patriotism is he trying to instill in you? John is stupider than he looks, to think a woman like you would show loyalty to country. You are loyal to your husband, and nothing else, because what has king and country ever really done for a woman like you except for dispose of you?
You wear Simon’s colors, not John’s, and you will wear them to your deathbed.
“If I do this for you, my king, then you owe me,” you whisper. He laughs again, no humor, and he picks up a goblet and fills it to the brim with wine. He drinks half before slamming it down onto the table, spilling it over his hand.
“Kings do not owe their subjects.”
“Quite right, Your Majesty,” you agree, picking up your napkin and dropping it onto the table. You stand, giving him a polite curtsy. “But I am not doing this as your subject.”
“Everything you do is as my subject.”
“You put your entire right to the throne on the back of one man,” you say softly. You are not accusing him, you’re reminding him of a truth. “Simon is why…he’s why your counsel still listens to you. He’s why your people are free from famine, why…why your taxes get paid on time, why your kingdom is still standing, no thanks to your father who wasted this place’s fortune on women and liquor.” You shake your head. “You have an eye for conquest, Your Majesty, but you lack the execution of any plan you conjure.”
You are not wrong, and John knows this, and it’s why he hasn’t spoken up yet or interrupted you. The man before, his own father, was a drunkard who spent all their money. He drank himself into the grave, and the only reason John stands before you now is because of Simon. A man who he fought beside, who he commanded, who once John’s duty became reality took up the mantle and finished what his father never could.
John would be in the next history book you read because of Simon, and it’s Simon’s name that will never be written. They do not bestow legacy to men who serve other men.
“Where…Where did you learn to speak to men this way?” John scoffs. “I am your king.”
You must have hit a soft spot. John is defensive now, and men only deflect and insult when they are cornered with the truth. They don’t like being held in front of a mirror.
“You are king because my husband made it so,” you correct him gently. “And Simon is a loyal dog, and that is good for your sake, because if he had any desire for your seat, it would be his.” You come closer, your heels sounding, and John glares down at you; but you glare right back because you are protected by your name and what you can do with it. John knows this, and it angers him, but he seems to have difficulty facing the truths of his own making. “But he is not your dog anymore. He’s mine.”
Your pen on paper is aggressive. You can tell because the splotches of ink are deep, bleeding black sinking into white as you put angry word to parchment. Not even a fortnight later, you are playing cards with Victoria, and you see Simon’s silhouette standing in the doorway, hood shadowing his masked face as he observes. When you look over your shoulder where John sits, and you meet his eyes, he looks away from you with a grim understanding.
Simon answers your call. Always.
At dinner, John is in better spirits. He drinks with a big smile, eats more than one plate, and he picks Victoria up by the waist to make her dance with him when he asks for the music to be played louder. Simon sits, fidgety, gloved hands moving in and out of fists as he watches you cut into your food and eat it with a blank face. He huffs beside you, his armor stiffening as he sits up straight, and you let your fork clatter onto your plate as you turn to glare at him.
“You were thinking with your cock, Simon,” you spit. “That is how men like you get killed.”
“You ‘ave no idea how men like me get killed because there are no men like me,” Simon growls. You roll your eyes, standing, and he grips your wrist angrily, tugging you close until you fall into his lap. You sigh, shaking your head, putting your hands on his broad shoulders and making him look at you.
“Maybe,” you whisper. “But I’m not wrong. It is how you’ll lose. You know better than that, Simon. To fight someone because they taunted you in a letter, it’s playing the fool.” You cup his cheeks, keeping his eyes on yours. “You don’t need me to tell you that, and yet here we are.”
He breathes slow, closing his eyes for just a moment. He thinks he came for this, just a little. For clarity. Reason. It comes from you in waves, and it’s comforting to hear. It is something he knew, and yet it only makes sense now that you have said it.
“I know,” Simon mutters. “I know. Y’r right. I’m sorry, luv.”
You ask him to apologize when he undresses you. You ask him to apologize again when he sinks into a hot bath with you. You ask him a third time when he is in your bed, a heavy weight between your thighs as he licks and sucks at the soft skin of your tummy. He begs, lowly, let me ‘ave it, and you will, but he has to say he’s sorry again.
“‘m sorry,” he breathes, sucking on your inner thigh, and you close your thighs around his head, forcing his mouth against your cunt.
“Again, Simon,” you whisper. “I wanna hear it again.”
“‘m sorry,” he slides a rough tongue between your folds, breathing shakily when he tastes the oil that he smoothed over your skin only moments ago. You taste so good, you smell so lovely, coming off of you like fumes blinding his senses so that nothing else but you makes any sense at all. When you open your eyes, you think about where you are, and you nearly come thinking about what you have wrapped around your finger.
Not even your king tells your husband what to do. Not even your king commands his men, they won’t listen, he’s not who they turn to when things go belly-up, it’s your husband, and your husband answers to you.
You weren’t sure about it until today. Seeing him when you asked him to come, it flooded you with something that hurt. You could tell from even so far away that Simon was salivating under that mask. You knew the only thing separating his mouth from your cunt were the other people around him (and they were not privy to seeing you naked).
It is such a thing to observe. John needed a lead on Simon when he was his dog. You need no such mechanism. Simon never strays, not with you. He sits proper when you ask, and he speaks when spoken to. He tears at unwanted flesh, and he comes when you call.
John cannot give him all that he desires. Perhaps he thought what Simon truly wanted was fame and fortune. Legacy. But like most things men do, John does not observe. He takes in only what is right in front of him, and he makes assumptions. Simon is not like other men. Fame and fortune do not matter. He does not care about legacy. What matters to Simon is what he can hold in his hands. The ground under his feet. The steel in his hand. The woman underneath him, spreading her legs, inviting him in.
You love Simon. You love Simon more than anything in the entire world, but it would be a lie to say that you are not at some advantage here. Simon is all-consuming. He is the pinnacle of duty and honor and everything that a man is supposed to be, but Simon is also weak. There is something that he wanted more than anything in the world, and now that he has it, he will do anything to keep it, and that makes him vulnerable. Subject to all kinds of new things. Revenge. Retaliation. Pain.
Manipulation.
Maybe you should feel bad about it. Maybe you should feel guilty, but it’s hard to feel anything like it when there’s a big bear of a man between your thighs slobbering on your pussy like dessert. It’s hard to feel anything but bliss when he’s tracing the letters of his name into your cunt and making you see stars and fucking you into the silk sheets like it’s the last time he’ll ever have you.
It is men who govern your world, and if this is how you must move in it, then so be it. You will not feel bad. You will not be sorry for doing what anyone else would do. John thought he could keep his hand there, muzzle his mutt, but you like him this way, and you’re certain John doesn’t fuck the way you do.
He’s mine.
It isn’t John that commands an army, it’s you; or maybe your cunt, but that belongs to you, too, so it is you, isn’t it? You’re the one that lets him inside, that whispers in his ear, that tells him things you know he wants to hear to make things move in your favor, so it’s you, right?
Not John. Not Victoria. Not their counsel. You. They have stepped on you your entire life. They have made you small and inferior and sad for all of your existence, and they gave you something feral knowing it could eat you alive, and now you are the hand that feeds, and they are forgetting that if they bite too hard, you have something that will surely bite harder.
A collar would suit him, you think. He would look so pretty. He already is, the terrible beast, prettiest thing you’ve ever seen (the necklace your drape over him does just fine, a pendant with his motif that you hope reminds him of you). You don’t care if people would say his face is quite ugly. It is, very much so, but you never see him this way. Whenever that mask falls, your stomach flips. He takes your breath away. His intensity, his raw form of love, the look on his face–there is nothing else in the entire world that will love you the way he loves you.
“You came back for me?” You ask. You have a leg tangled between his, and his fingers are between your thighs, a shadow of a smirk on his face as he feels the mixture of your cum and his. He grunts a little, and you tilt your head to look up at him, your chin on his chest.
“‘f course,” Simon mutters, and you kiss his chest gently, keeping your eyes on his.
“But not for John.”
He turns his head, looking down at you more intently, and he scoffs. You know it’s true, but you want to hear it, anyways. You want to hear Simon admit, unknowingly, that you are the tether.
“John is afraid, and I don’t listen to ‘im when he’s afraid. Makes bad choices.”
It’s almost adorable that this is what Simon tells himself. That he comes back for his own sake, and not for yours, even though they are one and the same, intertwined and inseparable.
“Simon,” you say softly, and he sighs, his eyes closing briefly when you kiss him gently. “You have to listen to your king when he asks you to come back. Making a…rash decision about war strategy is one thing, but…” You cup his cheek gently. “Make things easier for me, husband. If he asks you to come back, you come back.”
This time, at least. Just this time.
Simon snarls a bit, but you swallow it when you kiss him. You maneuver yourself over him, straddling his hips, and he grunts as you sink down on him. He swells hard again very quickly, releasing a deep breath as you give a slow roll of your hips.
“Make things easy for me, my love,” you whisper, and he leans his head back, putting two big hands on your ass and moving you with ease. “Appease your king, yes? For me?”
“Can’t say no when y’r pussy squeezes me like tha’, sweet’eart,” Simon groans, and you giggle, planting your hands on his chest and starting to move a little faster. You lean your head back, your mouth falling open, and you gasp when you sink down completely, your ass touching his thick thighs as you tighten around him. “Fuckin’ Christ–”
“I hate when you go,” you whine, digging your nails into his chest. He hisses, planting his feet on the bed, and he fucks up into you with a renewed fervor. “Hate when you’re not here, Simon, I-I miss you, miss this–”
“Nghh…fuck, I know,” Simon pants. “Can feel it. Feel you.” You squeal when he grips you by the waist and turns you over. He makes it seem so easy, tossing your weight underneath him, and your arms circle around his neck as you draw him closer, hanging onto him. “Y’r so fuckin’ pretty…”
“Simon–”
He kisses to devour. His jaw hinges wide to kiss you sloppy, breathing in the moans that you can’t contain. Simon always fucks so well, stretching your thighs as wide as they will accommodate so he can make room for the goliath of himself that he is. He suffocates, in a good way, and his cock never fails to stretch you for all that you are worth. Simon holds your jaw in place as he grinds into you, relishing in the wet smack of his hips against yours. The fat of you satisfies him. It makes him growl with delight when he grabs onto wide hips, your fat arse, the body that you hold that tells him you are fed and warm and content. It draws his grin wider, and it makes him drool thinking about having you again and again and again, until you beg him for reprieve and his heir sits in your womb.
Simon fucks for sport. He wants to see how stupid he can make you. He wants to know how long you’ll cry for, how fat he can make your tears. He wants to know how loud you will cry, how many times he can make you cum before you’re incoherent, he wants to know the extent to which he can use you that you will still be awake enough to say his name just one more time. Simon is not satisfied until he pushes your limits.
It is what a Riley does. They endure, and they eat, and they consume, and they take pleasure in the all-encompassing indulgement of things they have never been allowed to have. You are a woman, so he knows this will come easy for you. So often, he knows, women are not allowed to indulge at all, so he wants you to. He wants you to cry and moan and eat, and he wants you to do it bearing his name so that no one will ever tell you no.
Simon says no to kings, and they placate, or they die. His wife will be offered the same respect, and he’ll stand behind her with a sword to make it law. When you bear his children, he will expect the same of them–to give their mother utter devotion, lest they answer to his hand. There is no one above you, not God, not country, and certainly not blood. They will know what their father did to have you, and they will spill the same amount of blood to keep it that way. They will do it for you, and then they will do it for their own lovers, and if they don’t have the same sentiments, that love is not true, and Simon will not give his blessing.
Everything else is trivial. He knows this, understands it, because history repeats itself. It is cyclical, and you are right. Kings come and go. Sons die to other sons, fathers make bad decisions, and crowns are passed to bastards and back again, until lineage is merely spectacle and power changes hands often enough to lose generational merit. There is one thing that remains, and it is what you do while you are on earth, while you are standing on the ground you were born on. Even faiths change; when men find it suitable, they change the rules, and then you worship a different God, so Simon sees no point in staying loyal to any of it.
Instead, he is true to what he knows. To what he can see and what he can feel. With John, he remembers being a young man, fighting alongside him. He follows John, to an extent, because he knows what it is like to share blood with him on a muddy hill and take an arrow for him.
With you, time stands still. He saw you in a room, and he had to have you, and he brought nations to ruin to make certain no one would bat an eye when he asked for your hand. He saw you in a dream, too–he saw you laying in his bed of furs, wearing nothing but a tiara of his making, wet between the thighs because that is how it’s meant to be. He recognized you when he saw you that first time, and he doesn’t know how, but saying no to you, really saying no, will change that vision, and he couldn’t bear that.
Your voice echoes. You’re moaning, overstimulated, but he doesn’t stop. The hair around his cock rubs your clit too many times, and when you come around him, you’re a shaking, withering thing, back bowed and nipples pebbled. Your toes curl as you cry from the starry-eyed, hot pleasure, but he keeps moving, chasing something in the distance that he can taste, so close.
Yes, Simon ignored his king. Yes, Simon did not ignore you. Yes, Simon admits, he came when you called, and he doesn’t feel bad about it, he doesn’t care how it seems. He would do it again if he had the chance. John could give him the same answer as you in every timeline, but he will only move if the command comes from you, and yes, Simon knows it makes him a liability, but crowns come with costs, and this is the one John must pay.
Simon will fight any of John’s enemies, but he won’t fight fate. He won’t fight what has already been seen, and he won’t fight what he already knows will happen.
With Simon’s cock in your mouth, you can make him deliver on promises. Sucking on the girth of him, you can make him an honest man. Taking inside of your mouth what you can swallow, you can make Simon do your bidding, and it is a hard lesson that John learns.
“Do this for me,” you slobber against the underside of his cock, and Simon relents.
“Make me happy,” you say, swirling your fingers against your puffy pussy, and Simon kneels with an open mouth.
“Just this once,” you whisper with his cum on your tongue, and Simon seals his choice with his hands on your tits and the taste of himself in his mouth.
When you make eyes with John across the low lights of the throne room, he can’t help the way he admires you. You stand beside Simon, looking the essence of nobility and reverence in another intricate silver and blue dress. The train of your skirt glitters with delicate jewels hand sewn into the fabric, and the headpiece you wear adorns a skull insignia. Your corset has been tied just right, thanks to Simon’s hand, and your own fingers are clasped between his. Your corset and jewels are of exquisite detail–one of the newest designs from Paris, structured and elegant and accentuating every curve of soft skin.
You glow in the room. His wife must be wearing a dress just as expensive, probably more, and yet his eyes (and everyone else’s) cannot help but follow you. Your own eyes won’t leave Simon; you flutter your lashes whenever he looks down at you, big smile on your face, and even when there are people curtsying and bowing to you and giving Simon their gratitude between bites of cake and glugs of wine, your attention never really strays.
John feels inadequate in his own fortress; suddenly, red and gold sicken him, and England tastes sour in his mouth.
In a few generations, John’s house will likely fall. He will make heirs that will fail him, he knows this. In a few centuries, his family will not sit in the same place, but a Riley will remain right where they are supposed to be. Banners of blue and silver will always fly. If Simon does not make sure of that, then you will.
It’s what happens when you force women like you to their knees. When they grow up invisible, always in the shadows, forgotten and sold to the next man who will pay a higher price, it’s what you learned to do. It’s all you’ve ever known, to make the best out of something terrible.
Simon is the same, in that sense. You understand him in a way his king will never be able to. Simon has nothing, and neither do you, and Simon was stepped on and berated and tortured to the point of no return. It is why blood does not scare him and why death doesn’t come knocking. Time will be the only thing capable of killing him, and everyone that stands up to him learns that when they eat his blade.
In the quiet of the evening, Simon undresses you. He sits behind you on the bed, fingers pinching the bows at your back and unraveling them. He traces your corset, thumb circling over the skull pattern of the belt around the small of your waist, and he tastes something warm in his mouth at the sight of it. You look so beautiful–more beautiful than he’s ever seen you maybe, decorated in his colors and wearing his motif and sitting so pretty.
“You wanna know something…funny?” You ask quietly. Simon finds the ties of your skirts and starts to undo them. He grunts in reply; he might sound standoffish, but you know he’s listening. “John…John made it…he makes it seem like you don’t really listen to him. He implied that…in the face of adversity, you might only listen to me.” You put your hands on the front of your corset to keep it from falling. “Isn’t that funny?”
“Wot’s so funny?”
You swallow, looking down. Your hands fidget, and you take a closer look at the ring you wear, the delicate gold band he gave you not so long ago.
“I…”
“Mmm…might be right, innit?” Simon snickers after a moment. You feel him stand, and you look over your shoulder as he peels his mask off and grins down at you. He tilts his head to the side, and you smile back at him a little. “Do anythin’ for ya. Disobeying a king…” Simon cackles, tearing your corset off, tossing it onto the floor as he walks you backwards. “Ignoring one…” He shrugs, “Oll in a day, love.”
“He can hang you for it,” you whisper. “Cut off your head. Cut off mine.”
Simon lays you back on the bed, spreading you out, climbing over you. You blink up at him, and he leans down, pressing his forehead to yours.
“I would ‘ave seen it. I would know.”
He would have seen it in a dream. It would have come to him in a reflection in a pool of blood on the battlefield. It would have come to him, the voices in his head, he would have heard them amongst screaming, or perhaps in the void that he finds his mind in when he’s between your plush thighs.
You can’t help the smile that graces your face when Simon kisses the curve where your jaw meets your neck. It is fun, you suppose. Fun to control the tides that set the courses of history. It is fun and almost unbelievable that a king bends to the will of one man’s wife just because it solidifies his name.
You wrap your hand around the twine that dangles from Simon’s neck. It twirls around your fingers, easy, solid. Simon’s eyes are dark, and they are yours, and when you smile, so does he, because this is where you are meant to be, forever and always.
“What if I want more?” You ask. Simon hums, low from within his chest, and you run your tongue over your teeth. “Did you see that in your dreams, Simon? Hmm? Do you know what I’m asking for? What it is that I really want?”
Simon smiles. A dark one, with teeth, and you know he hears it. What more means for a duke and his duchess. What more means when you have all the money you could ever want, all the land you could ever need.
What more means when you have climbed your way to the top and still desire more. More, more, more. There are not many steps left to climb. There are not many places left to take, not much more of the world that can really be yours, but Simon looks ravenous, and Simon looks hungry, and if you fuck him now, you’ll have him right where you want him.
When you tug on what hangs around his neck, Simon bends. Simon follows.

“S–hic–so full, Ken,” you whimper as the last ropes of his cum spill out into your insides. You have never felt a sensation like this before, being absolutely filled to the brim with all of what Nanami Kento has to offer.
You feel the deep hum Nanami lets out in response everywhere–his overwhelming being currently consuming your own. Currently mounted over you, he holds you up by the plush of your ass so your hips are lifted to meet his thrusts. Your body is so contorted that your knees fall and press against your shoulders with every piston of his cock. How the hell did you even end up in this position?
“Oh darling, fuck, I missed you so much,” he moans as he languidly pushes his cock in and out of your sopping wet pussy. You watch as his abdomen flexes with every thrust, and you can’t help but marvel at how the low light of your bedroom reflects on his glistening, sweat-slicked skin. Eyes trailing upward, you soak in the constellation of freckles on his shoulders, the swell of his deltoid muscles, the way his damp hair falls forward, messy and unkempt after rounds of orgasms.
Another one of his moans snaps you out of your trance, and you focus your eyes to meet his blown-out, lust-filled gaze. Instinctually, your walls clench at the sight, and your eyes widen in horror when you realize it’s too late.
“Tsk,” he smirks as he breaks his gaze from your own to down where you’re both connected, “she’s so greedy, begging for more after all I’ve given her.”
One of his hands leaves your ass to swipe a thumb against your sensitive clit, causing you to gasp and clench again. “Should I give her what she wants, sweetheart?”
“I-I don’t think there’s any more room, Ken, you’ve filled me up so much,” you mewl.
His eyes flick up again as your words trail off, and you can’t help but notice how the intention behind them has changed, looking as if he has been given a new life–a new meaning. Reaching somewhere behind him, he fiddles around until he finds what he’s looking for–his phone.
Slowly, he shifts backwards to release himself from your gushing heat, being careful to not let any of his seed spill from your folds. He groans as his tip finally slips out and quickly grabs your hand to press against your opening.
“Yeah, just like that, hold it all in for me,” he praises.
You feel your heartbeat quicken, curious and interested. Climbing off the bed, he stands off to the side and holds out his hand, beckoning you to join him, which you do without question.
“There we go, pretty girl, stand right here for me.”
Following his request, you stand before him with your hand still pressed up against yourself. You feel yourself tremble, not in worry, but in anticipation of what’s to come. Nanami must have taken note, because he is now grazing his fingers up and down the skin of your shoulder.
Leaning in close, lips ghosting over your own, he whispers, “Do you trust me?”
“Always, Ken.”
Your heart flutters as he smiles and kisses you, tongue slipping from his parted mouth to swipe your lower lip. With one final peck, he keeps eye contact with you as he kneels, light pooling into the room from the flashlight of his phone.
You hear a little ding, signaling that he is recording.
“Do you remember what you said to me, baby?” he murmurs, voice filled with love and adoration as he points the camera up to you while his other hand rests against your lower tummy.
“W-what I said?” you stutter, mind trying to think back to moments ago.
“Yes.”
You try to think, mind still in a daze. What you said?
Oh.
Ah.
So this is what he wants.
Looking at the camera, eyes blinded by the light, you pout, “I don’t think there’s any more room, Ken, you’ve filled me up sooo much.”
You hear a soft groan, and the light moves down your body to your lower half.
“Show me.”
Slowly, you remove your hand from your core, a mix of your cum and his already pooling at your fingertips, to place your hand above his own on your abdomen. You don’t have to look down to confirm–hot liquid is already dripping down your thighs at an intense rate.
You jolt and gasp when you feel his firm hand pressing into your body, a fresh new wave of semen spilling from your insides. There’s so much–maybe too much–as it trickles past your knees. There’s another groan that escapes from Nanami’s lips.
“Good girl.”
Your body is trembling, your pussy fluttering around nothing, just wanting so badly to be filled again and again. Would it be so bad to ask for more?

caleb won't ever let you go.
Tumblr media
‘here’s what you don’t understand,’ caleb said, his voice low and steady as he stepped closer. his gaze bore into yours, unflinching, filled with an intensity that made your heart stutter. ‘i would live a thousand lives just to get to you.’
caleb’s hand came up, and he rested it against one of your cheeks, his thumb catching your lip. you swallowed hard, your breath catching in your throat, but he wasn’t done.
‘i would die time and time again, dig out my own grave if it means i can come home to you,’ he said, his voice trembling slightly with the weight of his confession.
you just witnessed your heartbreaker break into a thousand pieces, the vulnerable side of him slowly unmasked, and you saw it. he looked so, so tired. he was all pale skin contrasted with harsh colours; his eyes were bruised violet underneath, his lips were chapped to a raw red, and his usual glowing irises were a dull, cold black.
his lips were so close to yours now that you could feel the warmth of his breath against your skin. you wanted to push him away, wanted to move out of his grasp, but you weren’t strong enough for any of it.
‘if i can’t have you in this universe,’ he murmured, his voice barely audible, ‘i’ll make sure i’ll be there in the next.’
it felt like surrender to close your eyes, to let caleb touch his lips where he wanted, to let his mouth ghost your cheek, but you were tired of the battle. he must have felt the resistance give away, because he cupped his hand purposefully around your jaw and tipped your mouth up with a finger on your chin.
he paused, his breath hitching, before backing away just enough to meet your eyes fully. his gaze softened but remained resolute, holding a depth that made you shiver.
‘you belong with me,’ he said firmly.
your unsteady heart was about to detonate. you opened your mouth to speak, but the words caught in your throat as he added, softer now, gentler, as if he were speaking a truth only he could see.
‘you just can’t see it… yet.’
his words lingered, weaving into the air around you like a thread that couldn’t be broken. you wanted to fight it, wanted to deny him, but the conviction in his voice planted a seed of doubt in the walls you’d built to keep him out. and that terrified you more than anything.
caleb blinked at you. the storm had cleared in his eyes. he almost looked surprised to see you standing there. he put his cap on, his movements slow, deliberate, as if bracing himself to leave.
‘you’re not the same person i knew,’ you said suddenly, your voice barely above a whisper. the words spilled out before you could stop them, heavy and trembling with unspoken pain.
caleb met your torn stare as you observed him closely, trying to detect what it was that was currently going through his mind.
‘not the same,’ he repeated, shaking his head with a quiet, bitter laugh. he looked at you then, his eyes heavy with something you couldn’t quite place. ‘i still love you, don’t i?’
the words hung in the air, raw and piercing, cutting through whatever resolve you thought you had left. he turned slightly, as if to leave, but hesitated, his shoulders stiff, waiting for a response you weren’t sure you could give.
but he stepped away, disheveled and breathing hard, staring harshly at you. the look in his eyes was terrible. terrifying. then, as if the silence itself pushed him to speak again, his voice low but steady.
‘i’m the same person,’ he said, his gaze locking onto yours. ‘i’m just not willing to let you go this time.’

“I want an heir.” Sukuna brings up one fateful night as you walk over to lay down beside him. It’s not a request, it’s an order that you must fulfill, just like everything that involves Sukuna. Strangely enough, Sukuna has been the one that’s been delaying having a child since you’ve been nearly begging him to have a baby with him for the past year. It seems he’s finally given in to the idea though.
“What was that, Suku?” You ask, stopping in your tracks because he’s caught you off guard. He stands up from where he lays, towering over you. You look up at him, waiting for him to repeat himself but you should know better than anyone that your husband doesn’t like to repeat himself. But this time he does,
“It’s about time you give me an heir.” Which makes a smile spread across your face because it’s what you’ve been wanting. Sukuna has been the one that has been refusing to have a child so you don’t understand why he words it like that– But either way, you’re happy and ready to fulfill his every need. Before you can even agree to his order, his bottom hands are undoing your robe to get you undressed while his mouth goes down to your lips.
Sukuna has grown accustomed to kissing you, and handling your body more gently since you’ve asked him to. Compared to the beginning, he treats you like a petal. You like to think it’s his way of expressing his love for you since he’s not very vocal about it, and you know he doesn’t particularly enjoy kissing. His tongue meets yours while his hands try to undo the robe without tearing the fabric into pieces since he knows it’s one of your favorites.
He bites down on your lip causing a cry to leave your throat while he gives up on properly taking off your robe. You hear as the fabric rips, and maybe another time you would be upset about it but you’re too consumed by him to care. He’ll just get you another one. His two lower hands roam down your bare body. One hand gropes your breasts, his rough fingers pinching your nipples. He gets to your cunt, lightly slapping it before he runs two fingers through your cunt.
He pulls away from the kiss, letting your soft moans into the air when he begins to play with your clit. Sex for him has always been a selfish act but ever since his first night with you, he’s found pleasure in pleasing you. The sound of your moans in the air while he toys with you is the sweetest melody. He found it dumb at first, but now there are nights where he’s simply buried between your thighs with the purpose of making you come as much as he can.
Sukuna picks you up and puts you down on the bed. Taking a moment to appreciate how beautiful his wife looks when she’s under him. Fuck, you’re so fucking small compared to him. It’s nothing new, really, all the people that Sukuna has been with are miniscule compared to him. But he just loves the way that you look under him since he’s never seen a more beautiful human being. He’d never tell that to you though.
Sukune begins to tease your entrance, threatening to push a finger into your cunt but he doesn’t. He runs his fingers through your folds, while his thumb plays with your clit. He lowers his head, his tongue circling your nipple before his mouth wraps around it and he begins to suck.
“Can you put a finger in, Suku? Please…” You ask him, your needy cunt in need of his fingers inside of you. He bites down on your nipple, causing a cry to leave your lips before he unlatches and lifts his head up.
“I hate beggars.” Sukuna reminds you, and you’re about to apologize but he shoves three fingers into your mouth, gagging you with them before you can even get a word out. He really knows you better than anyone. “My woman doesn’t apologize to anyone either. Not even her own husband.”
Sukuna finally pushes two fingers inside your pussy, making your eyes roll to the back of your head. His fingers are just so fucking big, and they reach every right spot. Sukuna feels you moan around his fingers before he takes them out of your mouth. He curves the fingers inside your cunt so they hit against your sweet spot. One hand goes to your breasts, and he begins to play with your nipples.
“It feels so good, Suku.” You moan, your back arching as pleasure consumes you. Sukuna’s multiple hands are… Everything.
He takes his fingers out of your cunt, moving the wet digits down to your asshole. He spits down on your cunt and spreads his saliva down. He presses his fingers against your asshole as he lowers his head. He kisses from your lower abdomen to your pussy, where his tongue then runs through your folds and then up to your clit. His tongue begins to flick your clit while he pushes two fingers into your asshole, making you moan loudly.
“Fuck– Fuck!” You yell, as Sukuna also pushes two fingers into your cunt again. It’s like music to Sukuna’s ears. It’s too much for you, two fingers in your ass, two in your pussy, and his tongue on your clit. Both holes squeeze around his fingers as his tongue lays flat on your clit.
“Sukuna! Shit, it’s so fucking good.” You bite down your lip, trying to not bring too much attention to yourself. Unluckily for you, as soon as Sukuna knows that you’re making yourself quiet, he stops. He lifts his head up and takes his fingers out of your pussy and asshole, leaving your holes to clench around nothing.
“I want my woman to be loud. Don’t be a fucking bitch, do you hear me?” Sukuna kneels, towering over you again and you nod in response. You use your forearm to hold yourself up and look at him. He undoes his robe, and you lick your lips as you watch your husband get completely naked. Your thighs come together as your eyes fall on his two thick cocks, feeling excitement consume you. Sukuna smirks, watching you prompt yourself up to get his cocks in your mouth. He stops you, his hand going on your chin. “You’re a cute little bitch… You’ll be okay. You can handle them both, right?”
“Yes, lord.” You nod in response, and Sukuna treats you as if you were a doll– More gently than he would treat an actual doll but he moves you as if you were one. He forces you to hold your legs to your chest, and the large tongue on his mouth licks your pussy, and moves down to your asshole. He’ll be sweet with you, especially since you brought back the name that you hadn’t used since your marriage.
The tongue teases the entrance of your asshole but Sukuna stops before anything else happens. He lays his cocks down on your lower abdomen, and you deeply inhale. You wonder how it’ll fit inside of you, but it always fits so you shouldn’t worry.
Sukuna doesn’t bother teasing the cock that goes in your pussy, immediately pushing it in which causes a loud moan to leave your lips. He doesn’t waste time in putting the second cock in your ass, and once you’re stuffed with him, he begins to move. He’s gentler with his thrusts this time, which you certainly appreciate since he didn’t give you time to adjust.
He’s grown impatient with the idea of you giving him an heir, he can’t waste anymore time. And fuck, he just needs to feel you wrapped around his cocks. You don’t seem to be struggling either way, quite the opposite, you moan in pleasure with his every movement.
“I’m going to fill your womb up with my seed, and you’re going to give me what I deserve.” Sukuna says through gritted teeth to not let out another sound that hints at how good you’re making him feel. Sukuna will never say anything that could hint at him being happy with someone else– The most you’ve ever gotten from him was a marriage… order. Sukuna didn’t propose marriage, he simply told you that you two would be getting married. But you know that the face that he’s making and the way he talks, he’s feeling good.
“I’ll give you what you want, lord.” You respond as his cocks hits every right spot, filling you with so much pleasure. His thrusts pick up speed, and your eyes begin to roll to the back of your head. Sukuna’s hand begins to play with your clit, and you begin to squeeze around him even more, causing him to hiss. Fuck, he can’t wait to see you big and round with his child. Sukuna can’t wait for his seed to bless your womb and all the changes that it’ll bring to your body. He can’t wait to steal some of the milk that’s meant for his child.
“Going to fill you up with my child.” Sukuna groans as you squeeze around his cocks. It’s too much for you, especially after he’s worked you up. You’re loudly moaning his name, just like he wants you to. He wants the servants to hear how he pleases his woman. It’s all too much for you since he’s filling up both of your holes and toying with your clit.
You shut your eyes, and see white as you squirt all over him, causing a chuckle to leave his throat. He lightly slaps your clit as you make a mess all over him. Sukuna can’t help but praise you for it, which is definitely something rare, “That’s my good wife.”
Sukuna bites his tongue, loving how tight and warm your holes feel. But you won’t get a noise out of him. His hand goes to your throat, however, it just rests there while his thumb presses against your lips, “The only woman worthy of carrying my child.”
Sukuna gets rougher with his thrusts as his release approaches. The thought of you carrying his baby makes him go insane. He’ll make sure it happens soon, he’ll fuck you every night until there’s confirmation that you’re expecting his successor.
He mutters your name before he fills you up with his cum. He doesn’t dare to pull out until both of your holes are completely filled with his seed. When Sukuna pulls out, he lays down beside you. He brings you into his embrace while you take deep breaths.
Sukuna kisses the top of your head, one of his hands running up and down your back. Maybe Sukuna hasn’t exactly been fond of kissing before, but it’s definitely his favorite thing to do with you now.
