There are dif kind of recs I have for like dif kind of dynamics for him cause OH BROTHER has he been through lots.

•Hawkeye (1983) this is my favorite it’s so fun. My comfort read when I’m feelin down in the dumps. It’s goofy and cheesy and everything I could want in an older comic

•Solo Avengers (1987-1989) this is fun too! We get to see him work with a bunch of dif characters

•Hawkeye (1994) he’s so dramatic in this one. We love a drama king 🫶 tough guy with stubble and the weight of the world on his shoulders

•Hawkeye (2003-2004) he’s heavy in his pretty boi era here. Flirty and a little shit we love him. Scarred lip Clint supremacy 🫡

•Hawkeye & Mockingbird (2010) Clint w/ Bobbi (his wife/ex wife/love of his life/woman he still has not gotten over and probably never will) is always a good time. They’re so cute I could squish them

•Hawkeye: Blindspot (2011) this one is sad and talks a lot about his past with Barney (his older brother) but def a read if you care about his relationship with his brother. Some stuff was retconned around this era like Barney’s story wise

•Avengers: Solo (2011) he’s in his detective era with brooding rooftop moon scenes and also a reminder Clint is in fact a bad ass and can be scary when fucked with.

•Hawkeye (2012) the famous Matt Fraction run, everyone knows this bad boy. We love it we kiss it on the forehead. It’s heartbreaking but it was revolutionary in the Clint Barton world and many folks start with this comic because it’s so well known. Tissues my friend. Tissues.

•All New Hawkeye (2015) listen… this one is.. I disagree with some of the narrative here and some of the choices they align Clint with.. and there was more retconning done here. Some fans like it some don’t.

•Hawkeye: Freefall (2020) keep that box of tissues ready you’ll need them my boi is goin THRU IT. It’s ROUGH and commonly associated with that song It’s Called Freefall by Rainbow Kitten Surprise for a REASON.
