"Are you ready, Y/n?"

Will and Y/n were on a Discord call. Will had asked Y/n to help him out with a main channel video, and how could they resist?

"As I'll ever be," They shrugged, watching their boyfriend on screen. 

"Well, if you do win, what are you gonna do with your money?"

Y/n cracked a smile from their boyfriend's question. "Oh no, I don't want money."

"What are you expecting me to give you then?"

"We haven't been on a date for quite some time, so I was thinking if I win, you take me out on my dream date."

"Of course," Will let out a chuckle. "Yeah, we can make that work."

"Yay! I call going first."

"What, I wanted to go first."

"Well, I am your partner and you know you have a soft spot for me. So I think I get to abuse that soft spot and go first." Y/n smiled, changing the tab on their computer to the link Will had sent them through Discord. 

After setting up a game and getting connected, Y/n had gone first just like they said they would. The game had been dragged out through a couple of intense minutes. Meanwhile Will would make a bit of light commentary throughout the video when either of them would make their move, leaving Y/n to giggle or chuckle if Will would make a joke or two. 

The game came to an end with Will being shocked his partner had won. Y/n had made a sneaky move he hadn't noticed, they were obviously good at this game. 

"Two out of three! Two out of three!" Refreshing his website page, Will had begun to chant those four words over and over again until Y/n had agreed.

"If you wanna get beat two more times, I'm fine with that." A smirked appeared on Y/n's face as they went through the routine to get linked with Will over the website they had been playing on. 

Another game had followed. At this point, it seemed like both Y/n and Will were to focused on the game in front of them to actually make any commentary on what was happening. Will made a few noises every now and then from reactions to how the game of connect four was being played, while Y/n stayed silent. 

Eventually, a look of shock appeared on Y/n's face. Will had won this game. "How?"

"I've been training, love." Will had seemed so smug over the fact he had beat Y/n in a child's game. 

"That's sad you actually took time out of your day to practice a child's game," For a second time, another smirk appeared on Y/n's face. 

"Oh shush, do you want to give up now or would you like me to beat you in another game to prove you won't be going on that dream date of yours." Will changed his tab, looking at Y/n on his computer screen.

"I wasn't ready that last game, I know I'll beat you for a second time." Will saw Y/n's smirk turn into a cheeky grin. 

"Fine, I guess you'll have to lose for a second time," Will had swapped tabs again, preparing a new game of connect four. As soon as the game started, Y/n had started to talk.

"Hey Will."

"Yeah?"

"I love you. You know that, right?"

"Of course I know that, why?" After playing his turn, he switched tabs again to look at Y/n.

"Just wanted to make sure you knew that. Do you think you wanna go out for drinks next weekend with a couple of friends?" Y/n smiled, playing their turn as they listened to their boyfriend's voice.

"Yeah, sure. Who were you thinking about inviting?"

"Maybe Callum and a few of the Sidemen and their girlfriends?" Y/n quickly answered the question. Their eyes hadn't left their screen since they started playing their third game. 

Before Will had a chance to respond, it hit him. Y/n had won this third game. They had been distracting him by talking. 

As soon as the screen lit up, showing they had won, Y/n left their desk, beginning to jump around their room excitedly as they cheered. Will stared at his camera with a look of disappointment sprawled on his face. When Y/n had finally returned to their desk, Will spoke up.

"You cheated."

"No, I was just asking about if you wanted to go out."

Will let out a sigh, leaning back in his chair. "Well is that your dream date? Drinks with friends?"

"Not even close darling," Y/n smiled. "My dream date is much more special. I love my friends but hanging out with them will never be my dream date."

"Alright, alright. How'd you even beat me? You're the only one who has."

"I use to play connect four all the time growing up," Y/n smiled, closing out of the connect four tab. "You can ask my parents, I annoyed them and my siblings all the time to play with me. Sometimes when I was at school I'd bring connect four to play with my friends."

"How have I never heard about this story before?" Will raised a brow, watching Y/n on the Discord call.

"I don't know. I guess I never really thought it was that important until now." Y/n had started to mess with their headphone wires, curling it around their fingers. 

"Alright then. I'll stop by your place later today, then we can sort out what you'd like to do for your dream date." Will had changed the topic to Y/n's alternate win instead of money. "Also, do you actually wanna get drinks with friends this weekend? Or were you just saying that to get me to lose?"

"No, I actually want to go out for drinks, if we can." Y/n replied, letting the wire loose from their finger.

"Okay, I'll get that all sorted out later. I'm gonna let you go now, love. Talk to you soon."

"Love you," Y/n smiled, quickly ending the Discord call. As soon as it was over with, Y/n picked up their phone, preparing to talk to all their close friends about how they easily won their dream date. But before Y/n had the chance to pull up the contact of their first friend, Y/n received a text message. 

Will: 'You didn't let me say I love you.'

'You can prove it to me later.'

Prowl would have found the viewing more cathartic if a Starscream hadn’t asked about every half hour if anyone knew how to break mind control.

After the show, everyone’s holomatter avatars started spitting out duplicates. Even on mechs that didn’t have holomatter avatars. It was terrifying. Prowl told everyone to go home.

speedrun PBs:

overall this has been a great year for me. i didn't meet all the goals i set at the start of the year, but some of them i became less invested in while developing others.

i achieved top 300 in super mario kart, which is a big deal for me considering the level of competition in that game developed over 19 years. pretty proud of that, and i know i have so much more potential to climb.

i'm pretty happy i got a bunch of people to run crystal caves for a while. i talk a lot of shit about my runs but my WR is actually not that bad. i think with the route i'm using i can save half a minute at most. i'll get it soon.

i got a time i'm somewhat happy with in smrpg any% and took a hiatus from that category. i started running smrpg most of the stuff and it quickly became bar none my favourite thing to speedrun. i almost have my time under 4 and a half hours, currently sitting at 4:31:56. that's wild considering how good i thought my 4:47 was, lol. i'm having so much fun improving my times and finding time saves and helping flesh out the route and all that. i also had fun routing Beat Culex and am going to return to working on that category soon. think it'll always be my favourite game.

dkc2 is hard but i'm enjoying learning it.

i'm very happy with my mario land 2 time. submitting to agdq for the first time and not seeing a wall of red was neat even if it is a lottery. i was only a backup runner but i know that my time being decent allowed for that. i'll grind this game again soon.

i dunno if im gonna return to EB pajama. i really liked the all sanctuaries routing, and it's obsolete now. we'll see.

current plans:

i haven't streamed much this week because i'm having capture card issues =( so instead i've been doing the following:

-uninstalling drivers from device manager and reinstalling over and over

-trying old drivers

-attempting to test in amarec, which crashes, bc the native software also crashes

-testing from usb ubuntu, which wouldn't load and started hanging when i tried to manually run casper

-testing from usb linux mint which worked, but i don't wanna change OSes

-forcefully installing an obsolete windows 7 update to bypass a sha256 error

-bricking my OS with the above step, unable to boot to command line or use system restore from repair disc

-taking the drive out of my laptop and using an old win7 install on a 3rd hard drive to copy my files on the dead drive to an empty partition on the laptop drive

-the copy operation froze up so i made a backup instead

-was able to unbrick my OS after all and deleted the backup

-deleting the empty partition and attempted to fresh install windows 7 on it

-turns out my optical drive isnt reading discs at all which explains why i couldnt run startup repair

-made a boot usb of windows 7

-saved an image of my OS to the empty partition

-reinstalled windows 7 on my drive

-swapped the pcie slots of my cap card and usb card

-tried very old drivers to flash the card which also hung when i let it run overnight

-card somehow flashed itself successfully after i uninstalled the drivers

-upgrading to windows 10 which i left running while i go to work

so yeah... this is an adventure lol. as soon as i can restore my OS i'll get back to streaming, speedrun calendar coding, and drawing your emotes

luckily there's plenty of stuff i can stream that doesn't need a capture card! until i can get game capture working again, i will likely be streaming the following:

-return to the Crystal Caves 1 any% grind! my standing WR has about 30 seconds of mistakes in it. would like to get that 22.

rpg limit break 2017 was a huge turning point in my "career". i'm very grateful i had that opportunity and did a good enough job with it. to this day i still have ppl contacting me on twitter to say how much they enjoyed my run. that's cool. i will be submitting smrpg most of the stuff to 2018.

doing a billion marathons was great. i love to entertain, i love to perform, despite being mildly antisocial irl lol. got to meet a lot of amazing people that way and have no regrets.

Good afternoon (although the time right now is 7am in Belize so I guess good morning) from the lovely Minanha tribe, and holy shit. I know Survivors are based around luck, but lucking out on having two guys I've known for about 5-6 years on my tribe as immediate easy allies is fantastic. Spike, I met through Minecraft UHCs years ago, where I teamed with him in one of my first games and it was great, and Adam I met through an SMP server run by somebody you guys may all know, Bodhi/Goldcap, and then I basically introduced Adam to a bunch of my other friend groups. Through this, there's a beautiful time to be had for this tribe and I'm just infinitely hoping that Adam and Spike don't stab me in the spine.

I've only just managed to speak to Gevonte today, she's been very much busy and inactive but hey, she's here now and very fun to speak to. We've spoken a fair bit about the differences between FB & Discord Survivors, since neither of us have played Tumblr Survivors before (I think???), and with her inactivity I thought she was a sure fire easy first boot for the tribe, but now I'm not so sure. Pietro is a darling as well, and seems to be pretty much the exact same as a mutual me, Axe, Spike & Veni all have called Kaz, who's also from Brazil. Speaks very much the same as Pietro does, they both have the same mannerisms and same level of likeability and ease to speak to, and I think Pietro is a fun ally as well. And then there's Christian. Don't get me wrong, Christian is also very pleasant, very kind and clearly a lovely person to interact with, but when I compare them to my interactions for the first time with Gevonte or Pietro, they're much more... I guess the optimal word would be awkward to speak to. Maybe they're just not good with new people, maybe it's me and my Asperger's being weird, or maybe there's just not good chemistry between us, but I do value Christian, but at this point, based off nothing else because there's nothing else to base it off, I'd choose Christian as the tribe's goat, and the tribe's easy boot moving forward. Then again, I could just back stab Spike ^w^

I’m very concerned for Olivia. Everyone has now been in the talks of alliances, and her name is the only one that hasn’t been mentioned, and that’s not even because her name is actually Emily. They just haven’t brought her up. She’s such a sweetie though, so I really hope she gets some free time to do some more talking.

He’s constantly sending me voice messages which idk why it irritates me but it does. Just message me dude. And he is so paranoid! He thinks everybody is always trying to cheat. Idk...where I come people play for fun and don’t aggressively cheat or maybe that’s just me. He’s pressed about not being able to talk cross tribal (dumb). AND he aggressively wants David out because he’s worried since David knows Madison he might log on to her phone or she might leak info to help him cheat. Boy bye. I’m not going to do anything about him yet because the beauty of being in a new community is I can play dumb like idk what I’m doing and I’m really trying to capitalize and act wholesome. Yikes when the confessional comes out 😅. But oh well. I’m just going to let Aaron explain how to play to me and coast through until I can reach Gevonte who will be my for real ride or die.

So it's been almost a full round and.... I'm only JUST now talking to most of my tribe lmfaoo. Skype is so weird. Just it being on a different platform makes socializing weird for me. Because I have to remember skype exists. On top of that, everyone else on the tribe seems not all that talkative in and of itself. Granted I know I wasnt tosking all that much either, but since we're safe I need to spend the next few days making connections or else I'm just gonna be another nameless flop. is it time to die already? a fake tribe was taunted, the tribe is split half US half europe so that is going to be a pain, its 1:40am as i write this and in all honestly i just want to sleep and coast till merge. bet that won't be happening tho RIP me and dig me in a grave huh. It’s really good to be playing a game again. My goal for now is to try and bond with my tribe and hopefully make alliances to keep me in the game. Right now talking to Dennis. He seems really cool, wouldnt mind working with him.

So just from the start i can already tell these players I'm with are easy going for the most part... I over all really like the tribe and can see a very solid chance that I can work with a lot of them if not all! But for the sake of this confessional having value... I'd also like to add that I'm worried that due to the laid back tribe (atm) that I might have a hard time building the connections to get in an alliance without making it due to the fact making an alliance is a very bad idea early on!

Okay so let's just get some thoughts out of the way My tribe is...interesting. I LOVE BRIAN. Well actually I love his boyfriend but still a great foundation from my side to work with him because I know he is a super sweet guy. Dennis is weird. I want to work with Nicole just because I like to work with womana because it brings me closer to God. Everyone else is irrelevant. Absolem is okay. Nathan is hilarious. He better not flop because I want to be best friends. Annabelle is the love of my life. But we did just play an ORG together that got a little messy...so idk how willing to work with me she is. Jayden said things about sports so there is no chance of us being friends. And...everyone else is irrelevant. Madigan: I stan Matt. He had the best intro out of all of us. He's a nut and I love that. I thought I knew who he was...but it turns out he's a different Keaton...and now I'm confused by the popularity of that name...Anyways, BC be still my fucking heart in an ANGEL and I want to be friends. Marie is a star in my ORG community and I always stan her. So I lowkey love this tribe and I wish i was on it. Overall...I'm ready to get this game going.

Okay so i'm normally super good at Selfie Scavenger Hunts...but this one is tough. There are a lot of hard items on here. And because it's Day 1 I don't know if I can rely on anybody on my tribe to pull their weight...guess we'll find out.

Okay I jumped the gun on Dennis. He's not weird. And he seems like he'll be a good tribe member. Not too interested in working with him, but hopefully we win a bunch and that won't matter.

I like my tribe so far it's the most active tribe I have had by far.  The challenge is pretty good though and I hope we can win it and be safe.

So day 1.  This is... ahh... I'm so nervous for this game! ��I have been looking so forward to playing this, but I just feel like it's going to be a rocky upward battle to make it deep... I'm trying to relate and talk to these people, and I feel like I can maybe do it with some of them... but I also know I'm like "WIGGG" and "TEAAA" and "SHJDGJHDGJ" all the time, and I just don't know if this is the tribe to act like that around... I also don't really have anyone to fully confide and trust in.  I do have people like Marie on the other tribe, but I just... ahh....

BC's the only reason I'm sane atm. he's a sweetheart, we've had a few fun chats already and he seems like good company. we've gotten on the same page and realized that we're probably the two chattiest players on the tribe and should stick together. Matt isn't awful. he's funny, and I can just meme at him most of the time and he seems fine with that. wish I could get a little more out of him though. I'll give Marie a pass because she's been legit busy and hasn't had much of a chance to respond to stuff. from what little I've heard from her she seems nice. apparently she's new to discord survivor just like me, so I might be a little biased in wanting her around. I'll bring something up to talk about and he'll shut it down almost immediately, in a way that makes me worried I'm getting on his nerves or something. idk, maybe our personalities just clash? but atm with Keaton my mood is zzzzzz and then there's John. I get the impression that John just doesn't give a shit. he spent all of the first night playing skyrim and ignoring me, and he hasn't said much of anything to me today. his intro and his rant show that he knows how survivor works, so why isn't he putting any effort into talking? idgi. :/

not to overreact but i want my entire tribe to go home. i had to PLUCK egg shells out of my VERY CURLY hair like i was some monkey picking ticks. i took an egg, a poor chicken would be, and used it not for nutrition. but for "fun". and its all for NOTHING. but thats ok. everyone keeps saying bc i carried i should be safe and like yes. but the REAL reason i should be safe is that its like im the only person on this tribe who wants to socialize at all!! also this idol system is so fun love choose ur own adventure type stuff. sad how i flopped first try tho.. but in 24 hours catch me with the idol! or catch me as first boot. someone just catch me im falling FAST.

This immunity is great because it gives me time to build better friendships without pressure of a vote. Charlie seems to like me, he wants to share idol guesses which is cool with me. That probably also means he'll tell me if he gets an idol which is powerful info to know. Also I won some cookies on my search. I hope they're oreos. But I'm curious as to what they'll be good for.

BC has brought me and Matt into an alliance (Transcontinental Trio!). BC is like the obvious alpha on the tribe and I’m kinda fine with that? At least I hope BC looks like a bigger threat than me, I don’t want that label lol. Matt is super charismatic, we’re finally talking regularly/about the game. He’s probably the scariest person on the tribe just because he’s so damn likable.

Keaton’s opened up a little. We bonded over thinking that we were the only ones hearing nothing from John lmao. Our first vote will probably wind up being Marie or John. I don’t want to push buttons too early, but if I get a chance at a clean shot at John I’m taking it.

Dennis- Easily my fav so far. I feel like we click so well and I've already talked to him way more than anyone else. Really hope I can go far with him.
