but also their ship name combo is hilarious?? sabozo?? bozo. idk it could also just be sabozoro i dont think they have an easy ship name but sabozo is funny

1. What got you started watching One piece?

My girlfriend!  The story is funny: I was on vacation in her city last winter (exactly a year ago) and she was watching Zou. I didn't understand anything but I saw some episodes with her. Since she loves Ace and Sabo, we watched The Sabo Chapter (many spoilers for me, lol). I instantly liked all the emotions it made me feel. I didn't want to see it before, it seemed very long and I thought "it isn't an anime for me", but when I saw Ace cry reading Sabo's letter when they were children with Luffy, I got very bad and cried A LOT. That made me want to see it. I'm doomed to spoiler, but it was totally worth it.

2. What got you hooked on One Piece?

As I said before, I liked what it made me feel. I know it's weird to say that I liked that it made me cry, but I really like things happen to me when I watch or read something. I don't want to feel nothing at all, I want to get excited, suffer, laugh and feel all kinds of emotions and One Piece always gives me that.

3. In One Piece who did you want to punch in the face so much, And why?

This seems difficult to me to choose. There are several characters that I can't stand, Bellamy, Oven from WCI, Trevol (ah, insufferable) but I think Spandam is a character that I hate too much. It goes without saying why, but I'd like someone to smash his face in. Oh wait. That already happened. Well, again then.

4. What One Piece moment will stick with you forever.?

Very difficult. But these are the moments that I like to see again and again: When Sogeking incences the flag of the World Government. The moment that Law proposes the alliance to Luffy (I think I love this moment). When all Mugiwara arrive at Gyoncorde Square on Gyojin Island.

5. What One Piece moment pops up randomly in you’re head?

Luffy singing on Skypiea. Sogeking's song (god, I love it) Law: "no I don't like bread", "stop being cute". Luffy cooking on the trip to WCI. Carrot Sulong (loveitloveit), Luffy burying the zombie in Thriller Bark.

6. You is you’re favorite One Piece character and why?

I love Luffy. It is not a surprise or anything original, but I really love him. I fell in love with his way of thinking. I love that he always escapes from all common places, from all racinoalist logic, from all norms and all laws. Luffy is a revolutionary, a rebel, an anarchist and I can't love him that much.

7. Much has One Piece impact on you’re life.?

A lot of things happened thanks to One Piece, but I think it mainly made me decide to do my degree thesis on fan studies, on how a ship starts, the legitimations of ships and how fandoms work.

8. What is you’re favorite One Piece saying?

Torao wa Ro dayou (Torao is Law) I like it when Luffy talks about Law because, well, I ship them A LOT. But also my girlfriend studies Japanese and told me that the  "dayou" is softer than "da", which is what Luffy usually uses in general. It doesn't mean much, but I like it because I think it means a degree of friendship and closeness. Am I looking for reasons to ship unjustifiably? Maybe.

9. What One Piece laughed gets you the most?

Clearly, Brook's laugh, but I also like Luffy's, Cesar's (he's very funny, god) and Saul's.

10. I will you feel when One Piece ends?

Surely I will suffer and feel that my life has lost its meaning, I hope it will be a long way from that. I am young to die yet.
