Spoilers for Wriothesley's backstory !! References to leaks of his backstory !!
When Wriothesley was younger and homeless on the streets of Fontaine, an orphan who ran from his foster home to fend for himself, there was no one for him to rely on. It was a dog-eat-dog world, and putting your trust in the wrong person could result in lying facedown in a ditch, just another casualty of the city.
Wriothesley was prepared to fight for himself for the rest of his life. Was prepared to sleep with one eye open, and ready to get stabbed in the back at any second. Everyone around him wouldn't cast him a second glance and wouldn't offer him a shred of help.
No one, maybe, except for you.
You were around his age— that much was evident from the first day he met you, when you found him crouched in an alleyway half-starved and soaked through by the rain. You were kind, if the umbrella you covered his head with was any indication. You had gotten soaked yourself, but you still smiled at him and told him to keep it, that he needed it more.
And lastly: you were born into good, good money. He found that out the next day when you bought him a packaged meal of warm meats and bread. Although he was hesitant to accept your kindness, cautious of what price you would attach to such a thing, the grumbling of his stomach won out and he finished the whole meal in less than five minutes. It was one of the best things he had ever tasted.
You said nothing as you sat beside him, uncaring of how the dirt of the sidewalk stained your clothes. When he was finished, you offered him a bottle of water. As he chugged it down, you gave him your first name, and when he hesitated to tell you his, you smiled and shook your head.
"It's fine, you don't have to tell me," you told him with a slight smile. And that was that.
From then on, you find him every few days at the same spot. He doesn't talk much, you discover, but he's always willing to listen to you talk. Anything under the sun— your lessons, your absent parents, the droves of socialites who try to butter you up with hollow words and false admiration— you can ramble about it for hours and hours and he'll sit beside you, interjecting on occasion, but generally letting you take the lead in conversation.
Once, you brought him a canister filled with tea, and watched as his eyes lit up at his first taste.
"This is some really good stuff," he told you, awe in his voice, already going for a second sip. You smile, seeing him so pleased.
"I'll bring you more next time. I'll try to make a different brew, too, to see if you'd like that even more."
When he gets scuffed from street fights, you're there to patch him up. Clumsily at first, with a furrowed brow and tangled strips of bandages, but you get better and better at it over time. He doesn't reject the help, and you don't scold him for getting hurt. It is times like these where your hands —only calloused by the grip of a pen and nothing more, unlike his that are so scarred and rough— make you both remember how different your worlds are.
One day, you go to the place you two had been meeting for nearly a year now, and it's empty. That's not particularly unusual— it's happened once or twice before where your friend couldn't make it, so it's no cause for concern. You merely leave the food and water in a little nook he had shown you before, and make your way home, hoping that he's alright and not too banged up.
When you get home, the maids and the butler all tell you of a recent incident that happened not too far away in the city— of an assault and a mangled body, of the perpetrator on death's door himself, barely rushed to the hospital in time. While you have dinner alone, they urge you to exercise caution if you go out tomorrow.
So you take heed of their words, bringing a new platter of food and hide small knife in your pocket as you head back to the same place yesterday. The food and water from before is still there, hidden in the little nook only the two of you know of.
Anxiety grips you, but you try to shake it off. You return the next day. And the next. And the next. Each day, the food you leave remains untouched every time.
You fear the worst after a week is up— you fear for his safety, for his health. You fear for the only genuine friend you had ever made, who had seen you as more than just your parents' only child. You don't leave your room for a week, poring over the newspaper and anything else you can get your hands on. The househelp thinks you're ill— and you are. You're sick with worry, sick with the late nights spent up as you stretch yourself thin trying to find something, anything about him. But when your parents learn of your seclusion, you're forced to give up your search. In the end, you're the only one left to remember the nameless boy with the soft smile and a love for tea.
It is years and years down the line. Wriothesley had been doing well as the administrator of the fortress— so much so that he had been invited to the Palais Mermonia to receive the title of Duke. He had barely managed to sidestep a grand investiture ceremony, instead opting to sign, take the relevant certificates, and be done with it.
When he enters the office of the Iudex, he's met with the man himself and a surprisingly familiar face. One that he had never forgotten, even on days where the ground threatened to crumble underneath him and the walls of his prison cell felt like they were closing in.
Your eyes blow wide, your grip on the documents threatening to rip the papers, and he doesn't miss the slight wobble in your lip as you gaze at him.
"Good afternoon, I'm pleased that you could join us," says the Iudex. He sweeps one hand in your direction. "This is one of our top attorneys, assigned to assist with the processing of your documents and certificates."
Wriothesley smiles, wider than he has in a long, long time, and reaches a hand out for you to grasp.
"Hi," he says, never taking his eyes on your face. He squeezes your hand and feels you tremble in his hold. "My name is Wriothesley. It's nice to meet you."

Short Debts Make Long Friends - Chapter 22
Chapter 22: I Don't Care How Adorable You Are Under the Helmet, Getting Roofied by a Mandalorian Was Not in the Brochure
You tear your eyes away from the stunning view – Mando presumably convinced everyone not to kill you, so there should be plenty of time to be awestruck later – and turn back to Paz Vizsla.
“Hi,” you say evenly, deciding it best to speak first. “I can do it.”
You reach out to take the medkit…
…and watch in utter disbelief as Paz proceeds to raise his arm, and dangles the grey box high in the air above your head.
“You cannot be serious,” you exclaim, stunned. What is he, five?
He doesn’t budge.
“Back to your corner.” His sneer is audible from under the helmet, and his voice drops to a growl as he adds, “Or I will put you there myself.”
Zip!
Before you can tell Sasquatch to kiss what you can’t, something small and silver flies towards Paz’s extended arm; a moment later, the medkit seemingly yanks itself out of his grip and crashes to the ground. For one wild second, you think this must be the work of the Force, but mystical energy fields have nothing to do with it: Mando had hauled himself up to fire his grappling hook, sparing you from Paz’s one-man game of monkey-in-middle. The beskar behemoth will not be deterred, however, and lunges to grab the medkit back.
You snatch the dagger from your boot and level it at his throat.
“One step closer and I will totally stab you in your sleep,” you threaten, brandishing the weapon with all the confidence of someone who can boast a one hundred percent success rate of stabbing things and also knows their victim does not realize they have stabbed a grand total of only one thing.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤbelieve in my weight / don't look backㅤ౨ৎㅤ3.5k
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ2024 ©1864RERUNS
synopsis. in his own stubborn, odd, and easily mis–interpreted way, zoro cares for you— enough to force his way through the gates of hell to have the weight of your being to sober him up.
warning(s). nsfw, afab! reader, starts off with zoro trying to kill you whoops, little bit of violence, oral (f! recieving), ? characterisation of zoro, zoro's swords are referred to with she/her pronouns, half proof–read (i'm going to sleep)
from vyon. don't perceive me, zoro is so fucking hard to write for no absolute reason. nearly gave up many times but managed to claw my way through out of pure spite; it's not my best work but i'm so sick of having to look at it in my drafts so it's being released, seriously as sexy as this guy is, fuck his ass. i refuse to write for him again. i wish i had enough patience to tie in eurydice and orpheus into this more but maybe i'll keep that in for next time.
do not repost / copy / translate.
You've made an odd habit of counting beats whenever Zoro trains with his swords. The rhythm changes depending on how many swords he choses to wield— it's something resembling a leaf gently falling to the earth after a gentle brush of air when both hands are tightened around a singular hilt, attentive with the way the blade runs against the air, unnecessary swings forsaken. It's systematic, a beat of one through eight as you share a delicacy worked from Sanji's hands with Luffy, feigning ignorance at the fact that Luffy's stretching his arm out to swipe at your food. With two, the earth shakes a little. He forces you into a faster tempo, you've no time to idly brush crumbs away from your lap nor care for Luffy taking more than half as Zoro splutters out different strokes against a canvas at a simultaneous rate, the air marked black as his blades tore through atoms.
At three, you're scrambling to keep up with him.
Your skin burns where Chopper's delicate hooves had struggled to work a bandage over, from your stomach, all the way up to the neck, it stretches down the length of your right arm and splits five ways to wrap around hardened fingers but doesn't touch the left side that itches where Zoro's blade skims. Your right arm nearly folds in half, failing to support your weight as the world shifts on its axis, your hair brushes against Sunny's deck and Zoro's frown turned upside down unnaturally.
You're unjustly stuck between appreciating his form when he's engaged and detesting how natural each swing falls upon you; Wado Ichimonji trails after like the shadow of your movement, unrelenting as it chased every ministration you make much like its cruel owner when he's got you held stubborn between his arms. You feel Zoro's unwavering eyes stern on everything that makes you up as all three swords keep up with your staggered agility; Sunny's deck creaked under your unstoppable tempo, marking the steps you both take like an ancient ritual that'll take shape eons away to call upon rain for harvest.
Zoro's blade runs heavy, each fall of his chest is followed by the threat of another sword slipping through your skin with ease; you move an inch, he'll force a mile through tiring bones to chase.
You realised something after Enma staggered after your scent, your sweat dripped down the blade as he straightened her up after a few locks of your hair shed down to the deck. "You're distracted," you managed to speak, dodging pants and heaves that locked up your lungs.
Zoro grunted. Sandai Kitetsu comes for you this time, you angled your foot so you could reach out to kick at his wrist without running the risk of the blade catching into your skin. She wavers in his hand for a mere second before his fingers tightened around the hilt even harder— you wouldn't be surprised if his palms were raw right now. Each stab, swing, slash becomes an invitation extended. Alluring you forward as the sun dawned down on all three blades, liquid as it ran down the sharpened metal and hooked around the crossguard and spilled over to pool at his wrist. The attraction that is Zoro and all three swords against you provokes you blind to crawl towards him, making you grimace; he beckons to you like a magnet, knowing the curve of your spine settles nicely in his ribs as your limbs shuddered against his beating heart.
He sternly creates a promise as he dances around you, your partner alternates between all three cursed blades but never does it becomes Zoro; keeping you at arm's length despite filling every burning nerve wrapped finely with bandages with desiring distaste, you wondered what his goal was here as you realised that you hadn't quite managed to get a good look at Zoro in the few hours you've spent wearing down the wood on the open deck.
Luffy's voice hits the air at the same time Zoro forces your head to swim with an awkward dodge, dots blur into your vision and you stumbled; a hand pressed against your temple to work the knots of a beginning ache away. The cheerful shout's tone follows the curve of the slide that takes you down to the lawn deck and a recognisable shadow casts over your face, seconds later, Luffy is cheering happily as he's flying across the air— resembling the path of Zoro's swords in his own manner— with a hand on his straw hat to keep it from flying. The shadow shortens as Luffy's arm loosened back to its original length.
The air that Zoro had worked to an intrusive stench takes its own form as Luffy graces it with his light presence; he keeps his back towards the sea on the figurehead as he idly crossed his legs and arms, head tilting as he looked at both yours and Zoro's form. "What're you doin'?"
"Training," Zoro answered, settling his swords back into their scabbards. The movement calls to the sudden session's end and you finally fall back, sprawled out on the deck as your chest rose and fell in time with the waves running against Sunny's hull. Your head feels as though you're still moving and clouds blur unnaturally into the reddening sky.
You hear Luffy hum and can imagine him reaching up a hand to grasp his chin, a dramatic frown playing at his lips as he pretended to think hardly about it. "Chopper said you needed to rest though," he aims this at you.
You think up a response in your head to defend yourself, pinning the blame onto Zoro, who'd barged into the infirmary and forced you out onto the open deck without a word but your mouth is dry and your jaw is heavy so you groan, turning your head away from the direction of Luffy's voice. An ache runs through your side like Zoro had managed to work one of his swords through you and the blade shattered still stuck in your skin, taking up a life of its own as it wormed through flesh and settled into the marrow, drinking up your life.
Your left hand crawls to your side, wrapping your fingers around the flesh of your side just below your chest and against your ribs, holding it down like you could ease the feeling by kneading the flesh. Zoro's silence is unnerving, you wondered how you managed to piss him enough for him to force you into training with him when you were still a recovering patient.
Chopper screaming your name reminds you that he'd expected you to stay within the infirmary— if you see him later, you'll tell him that you didn't expect to leave either. Dots gather into your vision, carved from Zoro's swords as they shake together, tightening into globs of blackened galaxies. "Zo." You didn't think the call of his name travelled from your brain to your lips but he recognises it regardless; you feel his weight creaking on Sunny's deck and a shadow dresses over the miniature starlight in your view. "M'gonna sleep."
He hummed, shifting his swords at his hip to accommodate you as an arm slivered underneath your thighs and the other curls around your side. Zoro's hand throbbed over the flesh of your thighs, you feel the pattern of curves from Sandai Kitetsu's hilt pressed into exposed flesh from his palms. His hands burn warmer than any part of your body, you recognised the tears of his lips that you could trace Wado Ichimonji's hilt from. Before you succumb to sleep, you manage to say something else. "Make sure t' let Chopper look at yer hands." His right hand taps against your rib, you nod your head, placated, before it falls onto his shoulder and everything eases into a slow silence. You managed to wave the hand thrown over his shoulder at your captain and get a lilted 'bye' in response.
Dreams have been foreign to you since you joined the Strawhats, though you're not certain that you could accurately recall the dreary shutter of memory that came pre–Strawhats either. Your memories have been washed away from beneath your skin from time spent under the stubborn sun you call a captain and any notable dream that stubbornly stuck to your skin from those unclean days were stained by his first mate. You remembered Zoro in each one. He stays dogged, chained to figures that you've wrongly painted in romantic hues of budding pink before you knew of his existence.
The infirmary stinks of medicine, chemicals and more familiarly, it smells of Chopper. The blanket weighs heavy on your chest and when you rise to allow the material from you, you realised that there were two blankets thrown over your form, as if to shackle you down. The image of your doctor throwing a weighted blanket over you is funnier than it should be, especially when armed with the fictional reason you've managed to claw together.
You turned your head when you managed to lean up against the wall the head of the bed is resting against, Sandai Kitetsu greets you. She's propped up against the side of the bed, her end caught between the bed and the table beside it to keep her up. The blade seems to purr when you reached out, bandaged fingers wrapping around the hilt— you find that it's similar to holding Zoro's hand, rough against your own palm with the sudden threat that hangs heavy of knowing this could hurt you if it wanted but it's warm enough to make you content, to make you trust enough to know otherwise. You pick up the blade and place it over your lap, studying the scabbard with light touches, nails tickling over leather. A problem child, you remembered in Zoro's voice.
The door creaks open. You snap your head up too quickly, hissing as you squeezed your eyes tight, lowering your head back down.
Steps close in on you and Sandai Kitetsu is lifted from your grasp; she's settled down on the chair by your bed and then her two sisters follow. "Move over." Zoro lifts the two blankets, urging you to move with tightened eyebrows and lips tugged into an annoyed frown.
You shuffled over, nearly falling from your own bed as Zoro forces his width into the bed; his hand catches onto your hips before he manages to push you off and he pulls you up to rest on his side.
"Sanji managed to piss you off, didn't he?" You placed an elbow by his head, bending your arm up to hold the side of your face in your hands. Your other hand is light on Zoro's furrowing features, pressing down on artificial wrinkles with your thumb and smoothing them out; the lay of tanned skin is pliant under one of your measly fingers, dulling under a mere stroke. He gives you a sigh that answers your question and shuffles closer, nudging you with his shoulder.
His arm looped through the triangle you've carved into the space with your right arm and your head, his hand falls onto the back of your head and he pushes your face down into the crook of his neck. "He gave me shit for forcin' you out of bed." You hit your fist against the side of his face and pushed yourself back up. Your chest lays on his, legs tangled together— it's more uncomfortable than intimate with how broad Zoro's grown to be.
"Do you regret it?"
Curt, seemingly cold; "no, I'd do it again."
You hummed, placing your head down onto his chest; Zoro's hand falls on your head, brushing your hair away from his chin and tucked his head down to tap his jaw against your head. "You upset?"
Without hesitation, "no." Not with him atleast, not for forcing you up to train with him from morning to the late hours of the afternoon even though your skin was still charred aching and weak from a run–in with a vice–admiral. Contrary to popular belief, Zoro's thinking is simple as can be; as strange as it was, Zoro making you fight him was his own way of caring or coping, you've yet to decide. "Nami got hurt." You muttered, turning your head to hide, your nose lays flat against his skin, oxygen fails to sliver through the gaps and breathing becomes a little hard.
"The witch can take care of herself," Zoro pats your waist, urging you to turn your head. The clear breath of oxygen you take burns as it runs through your body; the cold tingles Zoro's skin where it parts with your mouth, each ministration reminds him that you're strong, you're here, he doesn't have to keep his eyes on you all the time to make sure you'll live another day. You managed to keep up with him for nearly five hours; wounded, slow, staggered, your skin never met a single one of his blades. You'll be fine.
You don't reply, still dejected at your failure to look after your own crewmates whilst the monster trio were elsewhere; there's a semblance of understanding that's long taken root in your mind, shared with Nami and Usopp. The fact is that you're strong enough at any given moment in an odd crowd of civilians but there's still a terrifying gap that'll never be bridged between you and people like Zoro, Luffy, Jinbei.
"You can train with me," he offers, his hand beginning to run up and down your side; his thumb carves the path that his fingers trail after, Zoro moves languidly, quicker than his swords. Fingers hook underneath your shirt and dig through your bandages. Zoro's face scrunches up, "after you recover— that shitty cook." He trailed off, teeth clenched.
"I think your weights will kill me." You humourlessly reply, swatting his fingers from out under your bandages.
"You just need enough strength to protect the people you care about." He doesn't try sliding his fingers past the layer to get to your skin again but the pressure of his palm intensifies, as if to make up for the fact that there's something in the way of what he wants.
You turned your head up after a moment, your chin resting below his collarbone. "And you, what about you?"
His eyes flickered down to you, head tilting and eyebrow raised. "No, never."
"Are you saying I'll never be strong enough to protect you?"
He shifts, pulling you with him. You slide one of your legs over his waist to the other side, straightening up as you leaned back to rest your bottom on his waist; he pushed himself up slightly, leaning his shoulders against the wall. "I'll never be weak enough to force you into that position."
"But what if—"
"No."
You're starting to get personally offended, face scrunching up dramatically to question his ways. His hands fall onto your hips, they're idle for a second, thumb crossing the line of bandages and skin before his middle finger slips into the belt loop of your jeans and he slides you up his lap, stabilising you with his hands on your ass. There's no room to argue with Zoro as he ducks his head down and intrudes into your mouth, his tongue easing away any rebuttal you've been pondering over. You decide to give him another win, tilting your head and smoothing your hands over his shoulders to the back of his neck. Your fingers are barely touching the sides of his neck but he shivers, giving you an apology with a groan for shutting you up so harshly.
Knowing your limits, your hands don't fall down to Zoro's back. You've noticed that he's not a fan of any unnecessary, calculated touches along the broad expanse of his clear back— it's a shame with how often he trains shirtless, sweat falling from short strands of green, messy hair and catches on his spine, dribbling down the hollow river that separates his two muscled sides. Whether he's aware of it or not, he likes holding your hands when he fucks up into you, likes having your nails dig into the back of his hand and carve indents between knuckles. You notice how he grimaces at first after, when his hands curl around the curve of his sword, only for an amused smirk to start playing at his lips when he nods his head down to find the culprit of sudden pain.
Your fingers turn upwards, settling into strands of hair and splitting apart knotted ends as Zoro wrapped an arm around your waist, keeping you against him and his other hand trails up to your face. He didn't listen to you, if Chopper had seen how he'd managed to wreck his hands from his tight grip on Enma or Sandai Kitetsu, he'd have forced a salve onto Zoro and then wrapped it up carefully. Instead, cracked skin tickles against your cheek. There's something childish about the moment, reminiscent of having to keep a door cracked open in the bedroom of your parent's home, keeping quiet as the sound of fabric shuffling takes place, the sounds of life still moving on despite the time stilling for you. His lips are dry and you taste Wado Ichimonji's ito on his mouth, the diamond shaped pattern creates a strange design of cracks that you have to swipe your tongue over to ease the tickling.
It doesn't take much to convince you out of your trousers, to settle yourself on his face— it's a nice change of pace when you're always going out of your way to argue against him for fun. Your knees hollow craters into the pillow as you leaned your head against the wall, scrambling for something to hold onto. There's a ferocity in Zoro's servitude that leaves you whimpering, thighs tightening around his head so harshly that it makes his ears pop— he's unwavering, stubborn, tireless as warm hands clenched around the meat of your thighs.
The weight of your entirety on his face, your thighs keeping his arms' movement minimal, locking his bent arms under your weight as your toes catch the bed covers, pulling and wrinkling the material keeps Zoro sober. He's so eager with tenacious force that he starts tasting his leftover spit before he gets to taste you. It doesn't become much of a problem though because you want him just as much as he wants you so it's easy to get that taste he's taken such a nasty liking to. Zoro just has to crane his neck up, allow the space for an unyielding ache to settle, press his lips against your clit a few times, toying at it with his tongue before you're dripping on his chin.
It's hard to imagine you elsewhere when you're so stern in existence on him like this. A particular curl of his tongue makes you squeal around his name, thighs quivering beside his head and Zoro realises. He doesn't think it matters where you go. If you've been granted to him— if he's learnt how to live at your feet, chasing after every breath you've rewritten in your lungs— how would it be acceptable to not turn the world inside out if you're gone? May it be hell, purgatory, what could stop Zoro from slaughtering what ever force that's keeping you from sitting on his face so prettily, calling his name like he's your personal God? There's no feat of superhuman strength that wouldn't shatter through Zoro's bones if it gets him to you.
A groan from Zoro invades your skin, stuttering up all the way thirty–three bones of your spine and makes a home at your neck. You toss your head back, a shuddering breath snapped against the steady, heated air swimming around the room. His name falls from your lips again, there's nothing else to say when Zoro's mouth falls on you and he grunts, his response is always so minimal— too far engaged with eating you out like he's chasing after his own high.
There's no headboard to the infirmary beds so you're left to claw at the wall, leaning forward to scramble something with uncertain stability on the bed; you tightened your fingers around the edge of the bed as you folded over, your waist hitting against his head slightly. Zoro's hand manages to push past your thighs confining him and drags up your skin under your shirt, his nail draws a soft line across your stomach that has the skin trembling as a whine falls from your lips. There's no ulterior motive behind it other than to connect another part of him to you, he leaves your skin burning in his wake as he retracts his hand and offers it for you to hold onto.
The last orgasm you're eased through, shaking your head and blood dripping down Zoro's arms from where your nails have worked down the skin, stratching and digging— Zoro knows you'll never be far away enough from him for him to not give chase. As long as there's a remnant of you somewhere carried in the wind, he'll follow. It's not like Luffy will stand in his way either.

Maddie & Hidan fic, NOT the one I was meant to be working on. Takes place about five years after they first meet in Deadbeat.
I do not have any idea if this is "canon" to Maddie's story! I just thought it was fun to write when I couldn't sleep yesterday.
Notes: Hidan POV, contains dismemberment. Maybe I'll stick it on AO3 later?
----
Hidan had no idea how long he'd been stuck here.
He was buried alone in the dark, in pieces.
It was cold underground. The chucks of rock beneath which he was buried were heavy and the dirt that trickled between them was so close he had to spit it out.
His wounds hurt at first, which was a good thing, because Hidan was very practiced at focusing on pain to the exclusion of all else. His devotions demanded it. So at first he was in insistent, nagging agony, and he prayed about it. When his voice wore out he prayed in his head. And then when it recovered again, he prayed aloud some more.
At first he could count time by his prayers, too. But then soon he began to second guess them: had he really counted ten cycles of prayer, or only nine, or five, or three hundred?
It was so cold. The earth sapped the heat from his broken limbs.
How long could it possibly take Kakuzu to finish his fight and come dig him up?
Time dilated into eternity.
And then the places where Hidan's body was dismembered began to go numb. There was no more pain, just a wretched, drowning exhaustion that dragged him under like a riptide.
He slept. He woke up cold. He prayed. He slept again.
He slept a lot.
When he woke, a little more of him was numb each time. The nerves were dead. Without fuel to burn in its holy fire, even Hidan's immortal body was flagging.
When he couldn't feel his body at all and he thought he was actually going mad, something moved overhead.
His eyes rolled up in his decapitated head, as though he could see through the rocks and tiny air pockets and loose sandy dirt to discover what was going on up there.
It might just be a deer. He was rubbish at sensing chakra signatures. For the past six years, that had been Kakuzu's job.
It wasn't a deer, though: the movements remained, muddling around above, and then they became dogged and determined. Eventually light began to leak on through the rocks.
Freedom arrived with the methodical sound of a shovel, stabbing away at the dirt until it hit rock.
Scrabbling hands heaved the rocks out, one by one. Light poured down upon him at last, and he squeezed his eyes shut tightly against the blistering radiance of the sun.
It was like a physical thing on his skin, dazzling down through the forest leaves, even though he'd thought there was no more feeling left.
"Fuck, Kakuzu, it took you long enough," Hidan croaked.
"Sorry," said a voice that was definitely not Kakuzu's. It was breathless and trembling and hard to place. A girl? "I couldn't sense — I didn't realise — lord, I thought there was more t— never mind that." The voice finished mine of these sentences. "Oh my god, you're in so many pieces. Christ, is that what gangrene looks like? Hidan, oh my god, what do I do?"
He squinted. "Maddie?"
"That's me."
"Maddie?"
"Yeah. Last rock, hangon." She pulled off a chunk of stone with some effort. Hidan didn't feel the change in pressure.
It wasn't like she was the last person he could imagine offering him help. But she did live across the other side of the country. And Fire Country was big.
"Where's Kakuzu?"
"I don't know," she said, high and aggrieved. "I have to find him next."
"Okay, okay, shit, don't start crying. We'll find him."
"I'm not crying," she hissed, sounding an awful lot like someone who was crying. "What do I do? Fuck, the deer are, like — I don't know what they're doing but I don't like their chakra."
Oh, the deer. Yeah.
"Just get me out of here."
"Like... in a... bag?"
"Yeah?"
"Fuck. Um. Okay," said Maddie, and then she disappeared for an indeterminate amount of time, during which Hidan may or may not have lost consciousness, and came back with a sack.
She just started loading pieces of him in. Her face was crinkled around the eyes and tense in the jaw. The older she got, the less baby fat cushioned her face and the more she looked like Kakuzu.
"This is foul. Hidan, what if I miss a piece?"
Given the number of pieces he'd been buried in, she was virtually guaranteed to miss something. "It'll grow back. Just pick up the main bits and go."
Maddie took him at his word and commenced cramming dirty, dismembered, diseased body parts into her sack.
Hidan's head went into the sack last. One of his blackened fingers nearly took his eye out on the way. "Ouch. Dammit, be careful. That hurts!"
She adjusted his head. Her fingers were so warm on his scalp they nearly burned.
The sense of her chakra, which he'd barely noticed in his present state, dissolved into practically nothing. The forest was saturated with various signatures already, and she was very good at hiding.
He felt Maddie begin to jog, although he couldn't hear her footsteps. She was incompetent in combat, still, and chickenshit to boot, so if they got caught it would definitely be back into the pit for him — with company, probably — but she was cat-footed and quick and very, very sneaky.
The daylight came through the sack in pinpricks, leaking between the warp and weft of the rough fabric. When they left the forest, the glow of the sun intensified. Maddie's chakra gave the tiniest little flicker and then her gait changed to an all-out dash. Her feet thumped the ground and the sack jostled alongside her, rocking against her moving body with each stride.
He would have liked to have said something, but he was woozy and quiet, just a cold jumble of filthy parts thumping along in her bag.
Maddie was warm through the sack.
Hidan felt better. He would not have said he felt good, exactly; he still felt fucking terrible. But the spiralling madness of his long burial had dissipated, dispelled by that first ray of sunlight.
The murky exhaustion remained, and he soon went under again.
"I think we're in the clear," said Maddie, some time later.
It was cold again, and dark enough outside that no light made itself known in the sack. The coldness seemed to leech all the warmth he'd finally got back straight out of him.
"At least, I sure hope we're in the clear," she mumbled.
"Where are we?" Hidan wondered.
"Um, not far from the coast. I bought a farm. Two farms. On Wave? Gato really ended up devastating the local economy for a while there. It was cheap. I only rented one of them out so far."
"Right," said Hidan. She'd wanted to do that, hadn't she? For some reason?
"I haven't been to this one. I don't know if it's even arable. But hey, land is land, right?" she rambled nervously. "We're nearly at the — haha, at the Great Naruto Bridge." This name seemed particularly funny to her, so she laughed for a second, breathlessly, like a broken hinge. Then she said: "I don't want them to search my bags, and technically the bridge gate is shut anyway, so we're just going to water walk underneath, okay?"
"Sure," said Hidan easily. He didn't have a say, anyway.
"Right," mumbled Maddie.
The ocean stank. Maddie's chakra disappeared again as she tiptoed onto the water.
Hidan fell asleep once more.
The next time he woke, it was because something was stabbing him.
"Ow," he hissed.
The sack was gone. He was on the floor of a bathroom, which was floored in red tiles that crawled halfway up the walls where they turned into whitewashed wood. A chipped, claw-footed tub rose high above his head where it rested on the floor behind him.
Maddie was hunched over him, her long ragged hair trailing onto his jaw. She cringed as she drew a dark thread of her own weird chakra through his neck.
Above them both, a bare electric bulb hummed. Moths gathered around it, flickering shadows against the the yellow light.
"Sorry," Maddie whispered. She finished her line of stitches. From a glance, she'd haphazardly stitched most of his torso together already.
"What're you doing?"
"Rinsing your pieces off in the tub and sewing you back together, I guess. I don't know. What else?"
What else indeed? "Forget the rest for now. I need food."
She let the thread of her chakra fall. "Okay," she said. "What kind?"
Anyone else would have pointed out that he didn't have enough organs to digest anything. But every time Hidan met Maddie, she just got... kind of weirder. She was grim, she was romantic, she was suspicious. She was ambitious. She was pragmatic. She was strangely sentimental.
How had such a strange girl grown up like her? Nobody had raised her this way. She must be like a reed, needing nothing but the black waters of her fetid swamp.
In this case, he was glad for her weirdness.
"Meat." Something that was someone. An individual with conspecifics. He'd eat a human, if he could. "Something that suffered."
She hesitated. "Fish?"
Close enough. "Fine, fish."
What she had was some kind of white fish, the kind fishermen caught all up and down the coast. She washed her hands and fed him flakes of pale flesh from her fingertips, catching them on his chapped lips occasionally. She also brought him water, which she alloted him in cruel sips only, waiting long minutes between.
He was full in about six bites, which he knew to be absurd because he couldn't even feel his stomach, let alone the sensation of fullness.
"I'm going back to sleep," he slurred, then. "Keep sewing."
"Okay," she said again.
"'M cold," he whined, half-conscious. It was night still and he was naked in pieces on the chilly tiles. And it had been cold underground.
"Sorry."
"Ugh," he managed, and then he was out like a light again.
He woke up twice more, numb but steadily more complete. Maddie hand-fed him each time in little flaky white chunks. He was numb and cold each time, and his body might have been sewn back together, but it answered none of his commands. It wasn't even shitting right.
Hidan had only just began to contemplate a life where this was the new normal, where he didn't heal properly and he just laid there numb and cold and waiting on Maddie to fucking hand feed him like a recalcitrant kitten, when this situation changed.
He woke up at noon on the fifth day, in a truly staggering amount of pain. He cursed loudly. Then he discovered he could move his fingers. Just a twitch.
Thank fuck.
Jashin was not a god of mercies, but he was a god of pain. So Hidan embraced the stabbing agony in each of his limbs and gave thanks.
---
On day seven, Maddie announced herself by dumping his naked, unresisting body into the bath tub. The water was warm, and after so long being so cold — in the darkness of the pit, and then on the tiles for days — it felt searing.
"Fuck!" he yelped, jerking his limbs in uncoordinated distress, because the first wash of heat felt like lava. "Maddie!"
"You complain about the cold in your sleep," she said, but she stuck her hand in the water, frowning, like she was really afraid she could boil him alive by accident. "It's not that hot."
She went back to what she was doing, which seemed to be sweeping up all the detritus of their emergency repairs from the tiles and into a dustpan to prepare for mopping.
Hidan begged to differ, and he opened his mouth to do just that, but then the sensation of warmth finally registered. He shivered from head to toe and made a pornographic moan of relief. "Oh, fuck."
Maddie looked at him as though he was doing this specifically to try her patience. She had completely inherited Kakuzu's unimpressed face. He wondered if she knew.
"Wait, where's Kakuzu?"
She paused in her sweeping for just a moment. "Dead." The rhythmic sound of the brush continued.
"Dead? No shit?"
"So is Sasori, and Deidara, and Kisame, and Itachi by now I guess —"
"Yeah, I don't care about that. What the hell happened to Kakuzu?"
"I'm not ...completely sure. I think they got all his hearts, basically."
...Hidan did have a distant memory of stabbing himself and realising that he had not performed his ritual on the Leaf chuunin he'd been aiming for. Huh.
"I went back and got his body," she added uncertainly. "I guess it would be a bad idea to leave it lying around but..."
"Have you tried just cramming a new heart into it?" Hidan wondered.
"... Do you think that would work?"
"I dunno. No? Maybe?" It felt so good to be warm, even though his whole body was prickling viciously in the heat. His fingers flexed almost like normal. "There's no proof it wouldn't work?"
Maddie put her dustpan and brush down in favour of staring at him, thoughtfully patting her own belly. "I hadn't thought of it. I'll... try? I'll just... cram a heart into his body. Sure. Why not." She paused. "Do you want to come out of the bath first?"
Hidan yawned. "No. I'm going to live here."
"Okay. Try not to drown."
"Ha," he said, deadpan. "You're hilarious."

Thought of another one, a five finger fillet scenario with javier? A bet of letting darling free if they win. You can choose wether darling wins or looses, or if he even keeps to his word
Ah, yes, one last gamble to see where you get to go. Made you not part of the gang/the same gang as it would be strange to kidnap a fellow gang member... right? Sorry it's short, I just sort of focused on the idea more than background and aftermath :(
Risk and Reward
Yandere! Javier Escuella Scenario
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Sadism, Blood, Five Finger Fillet/Knife game, Post kidnapping plot, Possessive behavior, Isolation, Forced relationship.
"Just a little game, my love... you wanted freedom, yeah? Wanted to be away from the big scary outlaw?"
Javier's voice is taunting as he taps his knife on the table. You look at him warily, watching as he practices with his knife. You... dread what he plans to do.
"C'mon, baby... you don't have much of a choice either way, right?" Javier grins, stabbing the knife into the table with a shrug. "Just a little game of risk and reward... you ain't got much to lose."
You really didn't have much to lose. You had no horse and Javier kept you in a cabin way out in the middle of nowhere. He had taken you from your home... you only had him.
If you played this game... maybe... just maybe... you can go home?
"Five Finger Fillet... You know how to play, hm?" Javier muses, picking up the knife to start the usual pattern of the game. "How about, since you seem so... reclusive lately, I give you an ultimatum?"
Your eyes watch as he continues the pattern, your heart thumping at each jab of the knife. Javier merely chuckles at the twinkle of hope in your eyes.
"If you win this game, I'll get you a horse and let you go home," Javier begins, flipping the knife a bit as he continues. "If I win... you give up trying to run and stay with me, deal?"
The proposal itself feels like a deal with the devil. You know there's no guarantee he'll keep to his word... or if you'll even win. There's always a chance he's messing with you... but...
You're willing to risk anything to go home and away from the Mexican maniac.
"Deal." You get yourself to say, leaving Javier pleased and with a chuckle.
"Good choice, dear. Been wanting an adrenaline rush recently." Javier chuckles, gripping his knife with his other hand on the table. "Best you give it your all... It's all you've got."
Javier is the one who sets the pace for your game. A game of how many rounds you can do in 30 seconds. You're prepared to risk it all...
Only to see how fast Javier goes.
Your confidence dwindles as you see Javier perform a trick with his knife, keeping a steady pace. You feel yourself shake a little when he finishes his time, jabbing the knife into the table next to you. He grins, nodding over to the blade with laughter.
"Three rounds, dear. Unless you lose this one... think you can beat my time?" Javier coos as he watches you pick up the blade.
You take a deep breath, steadying your hand before starting. You curse yourself when you notice your slow pace. You want to speed up... but you worry. You aren't going to beat his time...
You need to win twice....
"Nice try...." Javier teases once your time is up. You weren't as fast as him, clearly inexperienced. You still tried to keep your hope...
But nothing seemed to get better.
Another round begins and Javier is still faster. The air is tense and blood, from the both of you, begins to show on the blade. You hiss to yourself, feeling incredibly nervous and pained. You try to go faster the next round... yet Javier only seemed to be more amused.
"I pity your poor fingers when you miss..." Javier coos, clicking his tongue when he sees you nick yourself again. "But... I suppose you should go faster, right? Last chance, baby...."
Javier's words don't help as you desperately try to complete your rounds. You're so focused on the game you barely register Javier's voice. Not until he places his hand over the handle and pulls it away.
"Aw, a shame, love." Javier clicks his tongue, watching you with amusement. "Maybe we can try again another time? Perhaps you'll get better...."
"N-No... please? Please, we can try again! I... I just needed practice! Javier, come on...!" You plead, standing up. Your hand stings from cuts but you could care less. You don't wanna stay here....
"Sorry, sweetheart... deal’s a deal." Javier coos, standing in front of you with a predatory grin. "You promise you'd be mine if I win. You wouldn't go back on your word, would you?"
You look like you're on the verge of tears, you want to protest but Javier just cups your face. He holds your wounded hand with one hand as he looks you over with a sigh. It's oddly loving... yet he's still your captor.
"It's alright, my love... I wouldn't keep my word either." Javier whispers, leaning closer as your breath hitches. "You know... You look so beautiful when you cry...."
It's then Javier kisses you and you feel defeat settle in your gut heavily. It's... not like you lost anything, you guess. It's already been months now...
You weren't ever going home...
It was foolish to even have hope.

Rubik Dice
Yandere Entity (Entities?) Blurb
An: In a vent of frustration with a rubix cube - I present this. [Brief mentions of death]
-
Six people to a room.
It's too many.
Between damped sobs and their own; and the feud in their head, they couldn't think let alone say their piece. How did this happen? How could they make such a careless mistake? It was just supposed to be an evening stroll. It had been a week since they'd been out. The longest they'd ever been put away. Being cramped under so long they had to get some fresh air or risk clawing out their throat for a clean breath. It's so cramped in their head, in this room. Six people is far too many to be alone with unless the last person is....
"Nice job, idiot. We're in enough trouble as it is - now what are we going to do?."
It was an accident.
"Don't be so mean! We all have our lapses in judgement sometimes.... Even if they are kidnapping not-so-random strangers off the street."
Didn't you tell me to do it?
"Haha- You really fucked up tonight, didn't you?.. He saw your face. No choice, but to kill him less you never want to be seen in public again? All I'm sayin' is my blades should still be in the bag."
We can't kill any more people. Why are you always like this? Please, can't we just -
"Leave this to a roll of the dice?"
Indecisive on topics ranging from daily meals to torture methods; the trio concluded their shared consciousness to one, unified:
"No."
"Take out that dice and I'm breaking your fingers. Why do we always have to be responsible for your fuck ups?"
"Such a coward. You can crack a brick over someone's skull to shut them up, but you can't stab a knife through their neck to silence them?"
"You know, someone has been reeeeeally quiet since we got back home. We all know what that means."
Ragged breathing stills in the face of its captor. The rambling maniac themselves has quieted to nothing more than a stagnant shell. They both know what's to happen next. There's only one way out of this now. He can beg all he wants, but he'll tell. Even if they believe him the others won't. Neighbors. The police. You. Everything always came back to you. Mistakes, failures, hopes. You'd hate them - all of them - if you knew what took place in this basement. You'd never want to see any of them again.
"Maybe we should let him go... They're pretty hot when they're mad. I'm sure they'd forgive us eventually."
"Quiet."
It's quiet now. How soon the commotion ends when that side of them says their part. Their voice doesn't like nails on a chalkboard. So sweet it makes teeth rot. It isn't authoritative enough to make those who heard Trimble in their wake nor is it meek and pathetic enough for a second listen. It was the amalgam of those voices - the best pairs.
"Now, Blu. You know we can't do things alone that we haven't discussed with everyone else before hand. Would you please let me out so I can take care of our little problem?"
"...ok."
Trembling hands retrieve the fist-sized cube from its pocket; chipped nails slid into the crevice separating the second and third row of squares. Why were they the one that had to solve it? These puzzles were always so hard despite the countless times they've done it - teary eyes aiding little to their cause. It becomes easier once they slide the third white cube into row. Their eyesight and mental slate become clear, cheeks dry and devoid of the faded acne scars that plagued them. They step towards their captive who was busy squirming away from the figure now five inches taller and missing the hunch in their posture that left them wondering how they had managed to drag them here in the beginning. Gaze piercing and laser focus as opposed to cowering from each sniffle. With those pure white eyes it's impossible to tell where they're looking, but the threat of being the target of their glance was petrifying alone. They were blue not even a minute ago. It was like they were a different person entirely - body and soul.
A dice falls to their victim's feet.
"Six.... You were fortune this time."
Another object grabbed from their robes. A single line drawn across their neck - and it's back to five.
"I knew you had that on you...."
"Awww, what the hell - over already? Should've made them beg or at least give us their address."
"May they have a peace rest.... Is what I would say if it were someone else, haha!"
"I think I'm gonna be sick..."
The figure pockets their weapon and stands with a stretch, stepping away from the growing pool of blood. "That was messier than expected. What should we do now?"
"Clean up this mess."
"Check Y/n's page."
"Send them flowers!"
"And this guy's heart in a chocolate box."
"All good ideas. Why don't we do them all?... Besides that last one."
Five people to a room.
As it always should be - until you come home.

Hey it's me so I was thinking that how the upper-moon react when they're jealous- like some girl or guys just woke up to the reader and start to flirting with him right in front of the upper-moon
Nice to got you here, thank you for always re-bloging. I hope you like it and sorry for the wait.
Uppermooms getting jelous for gn reader. (I will use "them" for the person who started to flirt with reader.)
Warnings: Cannibalism, Death of unamed character, Self-harm (Gyutaro and his canonical violent scratching), Implied sexual content, Assault, Canon insecurity to ot's respective characters, Gyokko and Douma are their own warning, Torture.
Gyutaro:
He knows when someone is about to flirt, you know where he lives. He can tell when you are going to approached, so he leaves before that happens as he scratches his face. He seems downhearted when you find him after rejecting the other person, and he refuses to talk about it. The next day he bahaves as normal, but you still try to see what is wrong.
When you tried to talk to him, Gyutaro scratches himself, hard. It's enough to tear skin and make him bleed. "NeEeEe, just cut it out! Go with someone that is not as ugly and disgusting as me! Neee! You can have anyone so stop nagging me, ne..." It's inpossible to comfort him, Gyutaro is convinced that is just matter of time before someone else can take your attention from him. You try everything, but he doesn't believe that he can compete with whoever flirts with you.
Again, he easily acts as always later on when you drop the subject and he doesn't act upon it ever, but he is still jealous and bottling it up. He is resigned and doesn't see reason to do anything as long as you fon't bother him.
Gyokko:
Most of all, Gyokko is offended. How dare them to flirt with his darling in front of him? The disrespect! Second of all, he kills them. Easy as that, he doesn't ask questions or even react beyond that. Just a gasp, some few seconds to get even more offended and then he summons tentacles for them to torture that person.
After that, with the agonizing from behind as the tentacles squeeze, pull and twist limbs, breaking bones and ripping flesh, he just starts complaining to you, similar as if he had a bad experience at WalMart. "Can you believe it? They acted as if I wasn't even there! There is no respect anymore!"
Besides that, he understand that it's not your fault and doesn't take it out on you, but he is going to complain for hours straight. And heaven's forbid he remembers it later when talking with someone else, because he will spend hours complaining again. "Don't interrupt me, I'm not finished. As I was saying, it was insulting! How dare they?" And there is no way stopping it.
Sekido:
If Sekido is always angry, how could you explain how he's feeling now. Livid? Not enough. Furious? Not enough. There are no words to describe his rage, except one phrase. "You're jealous..." you say incredulous as he pants after having stabbed the person who was flirting with you with his staff.... plural. There are like 14 still electrified, five on the chest and stomach without fully going in to not pierce organs and the one he just killed him with, the head.
"Don't say that crap, they just made me angry!" He tries to explain himself, but... this is a lot for only "being angry" "Why did they have to flirt with you?" He mutters under his breath, he is still mand but doesn't want to take it out of you.... yet. He will if you become too annoying. You just let it be because after what you just saw you don't want to be beaten up by Sekido.
It passes after a while, and he even apologizes... for the wrong reasons... "Sorry for causing an scene. I was just so angry! I'll try to be more discreet next time." Still, you take it and shrug, there is nothing you can do anyway, he would not have stopped even if you asked.
Karaku:
Karaku is a chill dude, very relaxed. He can't get jealous, can he? "Oh, we are flirting with Y/N? Well, you had your turn already, my friend. Now is mine, so get lost." He is still chill as he throws himself over you, passing his arm over your shoulder and getting his face just inches from yours. He proceeds to flirt and rizz like the sex god he is, not caring if the other party is still there or not. "Babe, do ya like it when strangers flirt with ya~? Totally deserve it, ya know? Cuz you're so hot and cute one just wants ya~."
He really is chill about it, it's not fake or repressed. He is ok with others flirting with you, what he is not ok is others going around thinking they have a chance. "But they must know you are mine, ya know? Should we give them a show for them to realize it?" He kisses and licks your face.
"KARAKU!" You scream, face red because of how shameless he is as he grabs his own pants. Once he heard you Karaku starts laughing, only to start teasing you. "Sorry love, you're right. I'll leave some for the bedroom.~!"
Urogi:
"GET OFF MY Y/N!" Urogi attacks that person the second you make eye contact with him, taking it as a permission and an ask for help from your part. He is ok with people talking to you, but flirting? "Y/N IS MINE!" He takes them to the sky, grabbing them by his feet to them give a sonic scream once they are 200 feet high and drop them.
Then back down he stabs them with his claws. Once they are finally dead he brings the corpse to you (the eyes are missing, and you know he ate them. But he gor hungry, ok?) "Did I do good? Y/N, did I do good? I protected you, so I deserve a reward, right?" If he was a dog instead of a bird he would be wiggling his tail happy and proud, you can basically feel him shining. C'mon, how are you supposed to scold that?
"Yes, you did good. But don't do it again, ok?" He lunges over you to hug you joyfully. "Yay! Does this mean I can eat them? You don't mind?" Like a dog, he asks permission. And they are dead anyway, so there is nothing that should stop it. So you neither don't look at Urogi while being flirted or put a good poker face."Yummy!"
Aizetsu:
"I'm feeling sad." He tells you, tugging weakly your arm, pouting. "Y/N, I'm sad. Can I please have a hug? Please?" The person who was talking to you looks slight offended, not only for being interrupted, but the fact you switched all your attention to those sad eyes beghing for your attention. How were you supposed to not cuddle him?
Aizetsu smiles a little at them, who were flirting with you, just before burrying his face into you, arms wraped in a hug. He knows what he is doing. He gets needy whenever he gets jealous, but instead of having an outburst Aizetsu used his sad puppy eyes on you and makes sure that you only look at him besides showing the other party who is the one you answer to.
There are times he makes himself look so pitiful that you don't even notice that he isn't sadder than usual, he just wants you to stop talking with other people. "Thank you, I really needed. Sorry for being a bother." What a baby.
Nakime:
You didn't even know Nakime could get jealous. But now you just saw her opening a door in the floor to drop someone into her castle only because they told you some pick-up lines. You know you are not going to be seeing them again... ever. If she just send them away, killed them or just trapped them in her fortress, you have no idea.
If you bring it up with her, she plays dumb, even if there is no denying that it was her biwa, her castle, her demon blood art, her. "I don't recall doing so. Are you ok, though? They seemed like a bother." She will speak soflty and gently, smiling a bit to you. That is so scaru you don't push the issue.
At the end you both act as if nothing happened, but she will be doing it again without shame or guilt. She always knows, so forget having flirty people in your life.
Akaza:
Akaza has always been protective, not liking when others get near since he is forever paranoid something bad will happen if he isn't there. In other words, he is easy to make jealous. "Y/N IS NOT INTERESTED YOU PIECE OF-" he goes off to attack inmediately, and it just takes one uncomfortable look in your face for Akaza to kill them. But at least he kills them rather fast instead of torturing them.
"You didn't need to go that far." You try and get him to apologize easily. He was too fast for you to be able to do anything about it, but he would have stopped if you told him. "It's just that we are together. We are together and it makes me mad when others don't understand it ot let us be." He answers honestly. Akaza still understands that you can't control other people's actions so he would never take it out on you.
On contrary, he is the one to comfort and spoil you after it to apologize his outburst. He is usually very relaxed with you, so it was a bit scary, still he won't be doing it again unless (he will only attack if you are being hurted).
Douma:
Douma is bad at feelings, bad with his own feelings, that you already knew. But he does understand the desire of others respecting distance or possesions (not that he ever cared), he would not like others taking his fans or his food away, for example. It's a similar sensation when they try to convince you to go un a date, even after you already said no several times. "Understand already that I don't want anything with you!"
Douma doesn't act, at all. He doesn't even know what of all of the situation he is against. If he dislikes anything that person, if he dislikes your actions or their actions, if he dislikes how tired you look, or if he dislikes how repetitive it is the scene, he doesn't know, so he can't act upon it right away. He just knows he doesn't like it.
That doesn't stop him from killing that person, who was still part of his cult, and eating him greedily. He still doesn't understand it, but it's definetely better. It could be that his stomach is full, it could be that they are gone, it could be that he just did something good and let them have an eternal life inside him. "Y/N, if something like this happens ever again, please tell me. I will deal with it."
Kokushibou:
Kokushibou is petty, but really petty about it. When he sees you being flirted by someone else he just... stares. And stares from afar, blank face yet you can see in his eyes both the yearning and resentment... x3. Then the second you look at him he looks any other way, and if you try to make a step towards him Kokushibou will basically run away. And then starts to avoid you. CAN HE GET ANY MORE PETTY?! He can, actually. He is yet to start making poetry about heartbreak, the one you catched him doing when you were fibally able to get close and talk to him after two weeks.
"Why do you let them speak to you like that? It's inappropriate." Well, it's not like you can do anything but reject their advances, like you did. But number one here is very insecure, so the fact that others flirt with you scare him and he dislikes that. "Kokushibou, please. You know I love you, and only you." But as a good lover you start to list why you like him and think he is better than everyone else. He becomes shy and runs away again.
But at least, once he gets over the outburst of his insecurity, is over is easy to reasure. Besides, apart from being a bit rude and shy, he doesn't hurt anyone.

How do you feel about PheeJin. I'm conflicted. I can see that Phee actually caught feelings, even if he feels guilty about Non still. And Phee and Jin do have chemestry. But I don't know. There was something was missing for me, I guess maybe it felt too fast.
Anyway what do you think are the chances of Phee/Non reunion?? Shall we clown together for a happy ending, or do you no longer see them coming back together??
@italianpersonwithashippersheart, because I'm crazy, once I realized Phi took Jin to Eden from the previews last week, I mentally pushed Jin off a cliff and focused on one sole thing -
NON IS ALIVE!
TLWR: It could get messy between Phi x Jin, White is a problem or salvation, and . . . Keng might be alive too *eye roll*
This entire theory can go up in flames in the next episode, but come with me for a second to Optimistic City:
I thought Phi was the mastermind and that Tan came along for the ride, but Tan is actually the mastermind while Phi is being dragged along. I like that Phi caught feelings for Jin because, hopefully, this means Phi is going to tell Jin about this crazy plan to get a confession, and it's going to come back around that Jin recorded the video; therefore, these two are going to look at each other with disgust unless they are like Babe from Pit Babe and completely cool with it, which I'm also very cool with.
When Phi didn't drink the water, I instantly was like "oh, so he knows it's spiked with drugs!" but then he commented when Jin was freaking out that he hadn't realized it was spiked.
And I love this because it implies that Tan has always had a different agenda and has left Phi out of it.
Since it seems Tan knows more details than we thought.
So if Dead Friend Forever is giving me a story about brotherly love rather than one of romantic love . . .
Then who am I to argue with a tale of redemption.
Which is why I think Keng might be alive.
People have pointed out one of the masked killers is on crutches.
Which would make sense if someone had gotten hit by a car and the injury didn't heal properly.
I don't want Keng to be alive, but the fact remains that Jin keeps seeing Keng, which we know is a hallucination just like all the other guys, while Tan seemed like he genuinely saw an actual person in the house.
The hooded person also looked up at him, and kept it moving.
Yet Phi hasn't seen or heard anything which is why I thought he knew about this hooded figure and was in on it unlike Tan, but why would the hooded figure stop to peek a glance at Tan?
When Top was attacked, Tan was upstairs "sleeping." Before Uncle Dang showed up to the house, Tan had just arrived to see the aftermath of the fight between Phi and Tee. And Tan was quick to suggest they use Por's place for Jin's farewell party in the first place.
But Phi immediately ran to Jin's house to try to speak to him.
And even questioned Tan! It's been over two years since they infiltrated the group. Why now? Why wait two years for a confession?!
Because it's no longer about a confession for Tan.
I mentioned that if Non is alive, it would make sense that he waited to do something until after Tee's uncle was no longer a threat, and homeboy is dead now!
Tan's hallucination was eerily specific: Non was framed. Expose the Fucked-Up Five. Get Non's forgiveness.
And Tan has always thought ALL of the boys are bad and specifically narrowed in on Jin as the reason for his brother's disappearance.
If Phi truly fell for Jin, he will try to protect Jin against Tan who is going rogue. But Tan needs an inhaler. It could hold the antidote if Tan has bigger plans to kill them all, but my original thought was it would be the perfect way to die without dying. He wouldn't have to get stabbed or hit. It would take no physical injury. He would just need his inhaler and not get to in time.
Stop breathing. Pass out. Be a dead body as chaos continues around him, and when the dust clears after the masked killers have finished everyone off, he gets back up and walks out of the woods as New because Tan who has asthma never existed in the first place.
Non was presumed either dead or missing. Both boys could walk out of those woods without anyone even realizing they were there. The only issue is White, BUT he wasn't supposed to be there either.
And yet he is keeping Tee right where he needs to be.
White's only connection to the group is he is dating Tee for almost three years.
His backstory is as thin as Tan's was, but I have never seen him as "in" on the kills. White hasn't been physically harmed unlike the Fucked-Up Five. White continues to remain in the safety of the house when everyone has to venture outside. I want White to live, so either he has his reasons for being on this trip and keeping Tee out there, or White is really as innocent as he appears and Tan will save the little one as an act of redeeming himself for not saving his brother.
Which would make the thrill of Non being alive even sweeter!
Because it would mean that everyone who "wronged" Non suffered. His mom. His dad. The Fucked-Up Five. Phi. (Keng, please God!). And even possibly his brother unless the narrative allows the brothers to be the final love story. It's scorched earth.
Perth's character still exists, and I think he helped Non survive somehow. I have no idea how all of this will turn out, and I'm excited to see, but the second Phi took Jin to Eden, he was dead to me.
And Non was more alive than ever.
#non is alive#episode ten don't do me dirty#dead friend forever#praying on bended knee that we are getting brothers#Tan is the mastermind#and White is the final gay#please pretty please

BuddieTommy/Polyfire Fic Preview
"You should just join us in the garage next time I go over to Tommy's and spar." Eddie pushes his damp hair back from his forehead and tugs his shoes on. He's fresh out of the shower, no longer covered in soot. His white tank clings to his damp skin. Buck sees the corner of his mouth twitch up in a smirk right before he says, "No way you two will be able to get distracted with me in the way."
Eddie has been listening to Buck's humble-bragging about never getting down to those Muay Thai lessons because he keeps getting distracted by how hot his boyfriend is five minutes into their sessions. Poor guy keeps getting laid.
"Uh, I don't know if that's true." If Buck could see the ruddy pink flooding his cheeks, he'd probably make up some bullshit excuse about the shower steam.
Eddie stabs his finger at Buck. His eyebrows are in stern dad mode and his mustache completes the vibe perfectly. "Don't tell me we gotta tie you down just so you'll keep in your pants. I thought Buck 4.0 had some self-control."
All of Buck's air rushes out of him. It takes him a second of blank staring at Eddie's hand to reboot. "4.0? Did I miss my own upgrade?"
"You don't think discovering you have a Big Bi Thing for Guys counts?" Eddie rolls his eyes. "And that's not even mentioning this new plant whisperer thing you've gotten into."
Buck can hear the capital letters in theflair Eddie puts on the words and it makes him laugh. "Yeah, I guess you're right."
Eddie stands up and claps Buck on the shoulder. "So, Muay Thai? Getting a demo before you dive right in might even set you up better when you finally manage to stop ogling your instructor for a whole session at a time."
Buck covers Eddie's hands with his and squeezes. "Y-yeah. That sounds good"
"Good. I've missed having guy time with all three of us anyways." He squeezes back before he drops his hand. Buck tries not to immediately miss it. "Any of those steak and quinoa bowls you made leftover from yesterday? I'm starving."
Panic flits through Buck's eyes. "We should find out. Now. Before Chim gets to it."
They both take off running to the kitchen.

Guess who's still crying about Beast? Me! I watched the movie and read the beggining and end of the light novel because I got lazy. Not expecting the end in the movie though. Spoiler drawing ahead and comments btw
Made me so sad. I was going to rant in another post, but I might as well do it here.
So, number one, the sugar cube scene was so adorable I literally cried. I mean it. Like I LITERALLY sobbed.
Number 2, Oda WHYYYYYYYY?! I'M LITERALLY CRYING WHILE TYPING WRITE NOW THINKING ABOUT IT. YOU ARE FRIENDS, YOU ARE, PLEASEEEE. DAZAI'S FACE WHEN HE PULLED THE GUN OUT IN THE BAR AND TOLD HIM NOT TO CALL HIM ODASAKU WAS LIKE A SLAP TO THE FACE.
Number 3, When at the end of the movie, Fyoder was being a little rat and messed everything up, I wanted to vomit out of an array of emotions. I was confused, sad, angry, and just so dang overwhelmed. Like I was ugly crying five seconds ago cuz of Dazai and then this SEWER RAT came and made me confused. I'll get into him in anothe post.
Number 4, In the movie, when Dazai stabbed his leg to show Chuuya his commitment and how much he deserves his trust didn't make sense when I saw it, however, after I recently read the book and watched the play Julius Ceaser, I was like OOOOOOOOH. Dazai immitating Portia and Chuuya Brutus made me just sooo....wow.
Number 5, When it turned out that MORI was the new director I just- absolutley NOT. Do NOT put a pedophile in his perfect Utopia, Dazai WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! Also, I thought he killed him the whole time. Just think about it. A pedophile in an orphanage. You know how if you're being sexually assulted or something, you're supposed to tell a trusted adult like a parentor a teacher? THESE KIDS HAVE NO PARENTS.
Number 6, Chuuya being locked up in that poor governemnt facility broke my heart. Just think about how many people are going to die? Like there is no way Chuuya Nakahara is going to succumb to a bunch of itsy bitsy chains. He' breaking out and killing everyone in there and then the agency. Convince me otherwise.
Number 7, I can't. I'll make an entirely seperate post for Chuuya too, but can we just talk for a second? He went crazy because Dazai committed suicide. He went on a whole rampage and it took 3 special ability resistance units to take him down. This is what happens when there is no Dazai when he uses corruption. But the REASON he went into corruption was just...wow. I always knew they had a complicated relationship but at the same time it was just so simple. Like, they hate eachother, but they also don't. They don't like eachother, but it's not like they don't either. It's not like they complete one another, but it's like one soul in two bodies. They're so simply complicated that if you asked me what their relation was, I'd just say, they're complications. Because in reality, their relationship is just so unexplainable. You need to see it to understand it. There are lovers, enemys, frenemies, friends, siblings, etc, but they fit into literally no category but they aren't strangers either. This is getting too long, so I'll make a different post about that.
Number 8, Chuuya pleaseeee don'ttttt. There is no need to attack the agency, my guy. He wants to avenge Dazai's death, but what is there to avenge? Dazai did suicide. He wasn't killed. Chuuya was so upset that he wanted to kill all the agency. I just....can't. It's kind of sad. This is also going to be really long if I go on, so I'll make another post about this topic.
Number 9, the way Chuuya just really couldn't understand made me wanna bang my head on the wall in tears. He truly couldn't think of why Dazai did it. He was kind of alright one second and then dead the next. The entire time, you can tell how little Chuuya was incorporated into the script he wrote. The ending for each one was different as the movie had him go insane and be put under governemnt care, while the light novel just left him to do his own thing. However, in both you can see that neither of them ever knew what was going on. Dazai never gave him a reason to why he killed himself. Everyone else seems to be going on like nothing happened or at least as if they know what happened and came to terms with it, but then he knows nothing. He was his bodyguard and right hand man and yet NOTHING. I'll get back to this in another post lol. TvT
So yeah. I cried a lot.

Time the Series - Episode 1
Another time traveling show. This time by expectations are basically on the floor.
So before I say anything here's the official synopsis: Foam, a famous actor, saw Chris, the lover, killed in front of him by the police. But fate gives Foam a chance to go back and correct the past for what he did wrong, causing Chris's death. When a mysterious man gives a clock that can travel back in time to Foam, will Foam be able to fix the past and save a lover's life? Only time will prove it! MDL You can watch it on YT, Gaga. Uncut on WeTV.
I watch the cut version, if anyone watches the full version please let me know what I missed. Not that I'm all that invested but still. This is basically a "I watched it so you don't have to" type of review so obviously, all spoilers from here on. Skip to the end for my short review.
We begin with a police chase that ends with Chris being caught but then there's a sniper and he gets shot. Very exciting already.
Cut to Foam waking up in bed and promptly pouring himself red wine while he cries and reflects on his lost love. Warning for singing and guitar playing in flashback.
The next day he's passed out and won't answer his phone and everyone is very upset, cause he's an actor and there's a lot of people waiting for him to shoot a commercial. There's already a war of managers happening btw. The one in pink is Foam's manager, the other one wants to be his manager. I'll be calling her the bad manager from here on for reasons which will become obvious.
So eventually he arrives and they shoot a commercial for some skin product that is amazing for the skin if we believe the people that show up to help Foam with his lines, cause the boy is struggling.
And apparently it's his birthday and he makes the weirdest call to his mum to ask her to wish happy birthday and the subs have the mom saying "Hello, dear" but there's actually no sound from the other side of the conversation. Amazing.
After this the drama really begins. And I mean there's so much happening and none of it is good.
So really quickly: - Birthday party where Foam is the DJ and there is some really bad dance acting happening. - The bad manager drugs Foam and assaults him and is interrupted by the good manager. - The two managers insult each other in front of passed out Foam and a physical fight ensues. Slap, screaming, slap, insult, slap, begging, more slapping. This is all very dramatic btw, almost lakorn level dramatic. Glass on the floor, bad manager picks it up and stabs the good manager. - Bad manager's bodyguards take her and Foam wakes up with the bloody glass shard on his hand.
Panic sets in, everyone comes and for some reason some dude is filming this whole thing. And we get our second police chase of the episode. This time Foam is the one doing the running.
Foam hides in a dark ally where he meets a stranger with a shining pink necklace that invites him to his place and of course he goes, because why not?
Then he recognizes the necklace/watch because he gave his boyfriend one that looks exactly like it. And then this:
Guy in alley - gives Foam pink shiny watch - dead boyfriend appears.
They immediately jump each other, as you do when all of a sudden your dead boyfriend is in front of you again, and Foam wakes up thinking it was all a dream. But was it? I have no idea.
Foam wakes up, hits himself, hurts himself and wonders why he's in his old apartment. He goes outside and it's five years before Chris died. The end.
So... to recap. I don't even know what to say. This is from MFlow, the same company that brought us the mess that was Beyond The Star so my expectations were really low.
With that said, I can't in good conscience tell any of you to watch this. It's not good. From the previews it seems Foam is going to meet Chris all over again except he won't remember him. Fun times all over again. I'll be honest. I probably won't be watching this, but come next tuesday if I have nothing better to do I might check it out. Depends how much I remember the experience and how curious I get about how they will deal with the time traveling. I obviously have not learned my lesson.
If anyone watches it please let me know what you think.
Thanks for reading.💜

arguing with your boyfriend while you're on your period - kylian mbappe imagine
umm hi... ig im back?? the past months were a rollercoaster for me, i graduated high school and im now in uni studying biomedical sciences which is kinda hard but yeah at least its fun. however the main reason i couldnt post was bcs i was focusing on my mental and phsyical state, i got diagnosed with different anxiety disorders and its been really hard for me. but writing distracts me and brings me peace, so ig i should write more loll. anyways enjoyy :)
on and on with your boyfriend, it had been five minutes with the both of you just yelling back and forth. Actually, you were the one doing most of the yelling, he just sat there annoying every part of you.
"kylian just because you don't want to talk about it does not mean you get to walk out of the room." You yelled. The both of you were talking casually until he said something along the lines of going out with his friends tomorrow, and all you replied with was how he wasn't spending much time with you lately, and how lonely you felt. What did he do? Walk out the door. "I don't want to argue right now, i'm sick of it. I'm leaving." He spat out, letting a mocking sigh of frustration as he walked out the door. The fact that he walked away without letting you talk about your feelings angered you, so you followed him out.
"listen to me, you're making a big deal right now. nothing happened. I don't get why your yelling, you know everytime you accuse me of something it turns into an argument, and I'm honestly just not in the mood right now." He mumbled while looking at his phone. His response was so hurtful towards you, thinking back to all the times you were there for him and would listen to him.
"You think I'm being overdramatic?" You asked, your calm just as irritatingly calm as his. He nodded his head, face still looking towards his phone, his eyes were never on you, and you just wanted some respect.
You felt the pain in your abdomen worsen as you yelled through the pain. "Y-your not even looking at me. Why is it so hard for you to listen to me??" You scream out, a small lump forming on your throat. He threw his phone next to him, stood up and looked up at you for a quick second before looking away. He then turned back to you.
"Y/n, I'm not trying to hurt you, I was only trying to avoid an argument." He whispered. "I wasn't trying to argue, I was trying to speak my side. I just wanted to tell you how I feel so empty without you here. You're most of the time at training and by the time you get back you're so tired to spend time with me. These free days are when we can actually spend time together." You mumbled. He gave you a look before looking up.
"But what about me? I never have breaks so when would I ever go out with my friends and do something I enjoy?" He spoke. His words felt like a stab to your heart.
"Do something you actually enjoy? Fuck off Kylian, you could have just broken up with me if being with me is something you don't actually enjoy. You know what? Do whatever the hell you want, I'm gonna be the one to leave now." You spat, walking out the door.
The moment you walked outside, a rush of cold wind hit your face, your body automatically starting to shiver. You blamed yourself for not bringing a jacket, but just thought of going back soon. You found an empty bus stop to sit at, and decided it would be a good place to think about something to distract you, but that's when the pain started getting worse. Your hands grabbed onto your lower stomach and you squeezed your eyes shut, hoping it would make the pain subside. All you wanted to do was to be in your boyfriends embrace, for him to cuddle you, kiss you, cook for you, take care of you, and just love you. But right now, from his words, it seems like he didn't enjoy being with you, which one made you feel worse.
It got to the point where you didn't know if you were crying over kylian or the pain, but you decided it was both. You were never good with cramps, and you were extremely sensitive. Kylian was always aware, but this time it seemed to slip his mind that you needed him.
He was at home, thinking back at everything to see where he had made a mistake, his hands were fisted up as his heart began to ache out of fear. The moment he laid his eyes on the jacket he knew you were outside freezing. It was extremely late and it was freezing outside, and you didn't even take a jacket with you. Forgetting about the argument, he rapidly stood up, deciding to look for you. As he was taking his jacket out the coat rack, he noticed the chocolate wrappers littered in the counter and the painkillers you used for your period left there. It was then when he realized, you were on your period. You did not like sweet things, and if you were eating this much chocolate, it could only be one
reason.
"Fuck." He mumbled, grabbing the car keys and running out the door. His footsteps echoed around the streets as he got to the car. He hoped that you were okay. As he looked around while driving, you were nowhere to be found, and he only started panicking. He took out his phone, hands barely being able to hold the phone from how much he was panicking.
Finally, after getting a hold of himself, he pressed on your contact, praying that you would pick up, but to his luck, it went straight to voicemail. If anything happened to you, he would not be able to forgive himself. He cursed under his breath, his vision becoming blurry as he thought about the worst case scenarios. He should have never been so hard on you when you were only trying to spend time with him. Guilt filled his body as the only thing he wanted was for you to be in his arms.
He kept looking around the neighborhood and that's when he found a figure sitting in an empty bus-stop. His heart almost beat out of his chest as he found you. After making sure it was you, he parked the car nearby and sprinted, glad to see that you were okay.
"You idiot." He mumbled as his voice wavered. It was laced with fear. "If you're just here to insult me then you can leave." You mumbled, looking away. Kylian immediately took off his jacket, wrapping it around your form as he gently held your face, bringing it close to his so that he could kiss you. You flinched from how warm his lips felt against yours, but slowly melting into him. No matter how upset at him you were, you were always his, and you could never resist him. As you were kissing, you began to feel droplets of what you thought was rain falling on you. Breaking away from the kiss, you saw the first snowfall. You've heard of couples kissing on the first snowfall, but never about it snowing as you were kissing.
Kylian pulled you into a hug, as you shivered and hugged him back. The cramps started getting worse and worse by the moment, and before you knew it, you started crying again. Taken aback, Kylian stared at you with fear, examining you to see what was wrong. You held onto him tightly, telling him your stomach was hurting, another pang of guilt hitting him for not taking good care of you. "Aw my baby...I'm so sorry, it'll be okay, I promise. Come let me carry you and get to the car." He kissed your head. You were too in pain to reject him, so you let him carry you to the car. You felt calm and though the pain was still there, it wasn't as bad as it was before. He put you in the front seat next to him and adjusted the seat so you were laying down instead of sitting. The cramps were getting worse. He hated seeing you in pain. He covered you with a blanket he had stored in the back seats. You were still sniffing here and there as your mood swings and cramps were getting the best of you, and that you really felt uncared for through his words, though he probably didn't even mean it. During the car ride home he put on calm music. After you got home, Kylian carried you carefully bridal style. He opened the door and softly laid you down on the couch and you looked up with half lidded eyes. You had almost fallen asleep on the ride back. The lights started to wake you up as you whined, wanting to go back to sleep. You wanted to make everything okay again.
Kylian was about to head to the bedroom to go get something until you held his hand. "D-did you mean it? When you said you wanted to do something you actually enjoy and that was to go out? Am I too boring?" You mumbled. He sighed before sitting right by you. He leaned down towards you as he placed a kiss on your forehead, and then your nose, and then your lips.
"N-no. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have walked away when you were talking to me like that. I should have listened to what you were going to say. I'm sorry I didn't take care of you, I'm sorry you had to go through this because I'd me. I do love you, so much.
And I promise we'll solve our conflicts together. Okay? we'll talk the rest out tomorrow, rest and sleep now okay?"
You nodded, trusting his words. He was never one to disrespect you and you know he wouldn't say anything like that and mean it. You decided you'd just talk to him tomorrow and that you'd go to bed for now. He made you mean to eat and put a heat pack on your stomach as he peppered your face with kisses and rubbed your belly so that you could go to sleep. You cuddled against his chest as he hummed a tune that you could sleep too. He cooed at your sleeping figure. He pressed a last kiss against your head after passing out right next to you.

Damon x reader pt. 5
Warnings: Self-harm (starving self by not drinking blood), angst, fluff
Copyright: I do not own any TVD/TO/Legacies characters, nor any places in New Orleans or Mystic Falls that may be mentioned.
Months passed. Damon and I both had lost hope that the others were going to find us. It was possible, as Mr. Laritate had said they had a witch working for them, that she- or he- had blocked the ability for Bonnie to track us.
The last hope would be if Caroline or Stefan went down to New Orleans and advocated to them that I was in trouble and if Freya could find us. I wasn't sure if she'd be able to or not. She was the most powerful witch in the world, but still, tracking spells were simple, whether you were powerful or not. The power would be if she could break past the witch who kept us here block spell or not.
If that even worked. I wasn't a witch so I had no idea what was possible and what was not. But I knew, from everything that we'd gone through, that everything had a loophole.
There was also the alarming bump that had broken out on my stomach. The minute it had started to show, the doctors had taken me in for exams to see if I truly was pregnant.
After the tests were done, there were several things that were concluded. The first was that I was indeed pregnant. The second was that I was about three months pregnant and we had been captive for five. This meant that either the child grew slower than a human baby, or I hadn't gotten pregnant until two months after my captivity. The third was that vervain could no longer be used as a weapon against me, so they threatened Damon instead.
Damon was taken away from me, leaving me in the room by myself. The vervain had been taken off the floor three months ago, leaving the only other room the bathroom so we could take care of needs. And we were given two cups of blood everyday.
The vervain was replaced after Damon was taken, but not on the entire floor. There was still a small path that I could take that would lead me to the bathroom without causing me pain.
I cried when Damon was taken. I knew why he had been taken- both as a means of blackmail to keep me from hurting anyone, and also because of what happened to the last vampire couple. The male vampire had ripped the mates heart out and then his own.
But I knew Damon wouldn't do it. And I cried for him, I screamed for him, I wanted him so badly.
So I did the only thing I could, I started to harm myself.
There wasn't anything I could really do, as there was nothing sharp in the room, though I supposed I could've broken the bedposts and stabbed myself with a makeshift wooden stake. But instead, I starved myself.
It was hard, they left the glasses of blood on the bedside table. I grew weaker and the doctors became frantic, knowing that the baby needed blood just as much as me. They advocated to Mr. Laritate and finally, after two weeks, Damon was thrown back into the room.
He was in fine condition and he cried out when he saw how I was. He was quickly behind me in an instant, pulling me into a sitting position before grabbing one of the glasses of blood, lifting it to my lips.
With Damon back, my will was back as well. I dutifully opened my mouth, swallowing the blood. Despite my hunger urges, I drank calmly, not in a rush because I didn't want to feel sick or bloated from to much blood.
After about six glasses, Damon stopped forcing me to drink, wrapping both arms around me, hugging me to his chest. "Don't do that again. Please Y/N, I can't. . . don't do that."
"I just wanted you back." I murmured, holding his arm that was wrapped around my chest.
"I'm here baby, I'm here." He whispered, pressing his lips to my hair. "Everything is going to be okay."
The baby continued to grow at an almost normal rate and the doctors made careful observations over the next month and two weeks.
The bump was becoming rather large and the doctors were debating whether I should be removed from the room to run X-rays again to see if I had twins or not. The idea of having one child, an unknown child, was scary enough. The thought of having two was positively frightening and I often woke up in the middle of the night, crying.
I was terrified that these children would turn out to be monsters. Like the way they're portrayed in Twilight. Absolutely beautiful, but unable to grow and learn, killing entire villages in one night. I could only imagine them with red eyes and black hair, looking like a mix between Damon and Klaus.
Damon was a source of comfort, telling me that he would always be by my side, no matter what happened.
And Damon, bless his heart, really wanted the child. He liked petting my stomach before he fell asleep at night, whispering sweet things to the child inside. Maybe he thought the baby could hear him and I knew that babies- supernatural or not- could hear parents voices on the outside.
His love for the child made me hope it wasn't an evil thing like I was expecting it to be, but I feared that he was truly going to get hurt loving the child.
My only source of comfort was Hope, Niklaus and Hayley's child. But even she was different because she was the one and only tribrid- vampire, werewolf, and witch. This child was pure vampire.
Damon and I were fast asleep one night. I was laying on my back- having a baby bump made any other position awkward and weird- while Damon laid on his side, facing me, one arm wrapped around my back, the other resting on the bump.
We woke up to screaming. I flailed around, trying to sit up while Damon crouched protectively in front of my figure.
"Dae. . ." I was terrified, grabbing the back of his shirt like I had in the library oh so long ago.
"It's okay." Damon murmured, "I won't let anyone hurt you."
We waited, hearing the sounds of gun shots, shouts, screams, and crashes sounding upstairs. Eventually, we could also smell the stench of blood.
At that moment, the door was thrown open, revealing a frantic Mr. Laritate and his two guards.
"Grab her." Mr. Laritate snarled and the two guards moved in to get us. They weren't holding guns, but wooden stakes and I could smell that they were laced with vervain.
Damon growled, pulling his lips back, revealing his fangs, veins popping up around his eyes. And then, there was a gasp and the guards spun around. Damon yanked their hearts out through their back and I peeked over his shoulder to see Mr. Laritate's stunned face before falling on it.
Behind him, standing with Mr. Laritate's heart in hand, was Elijah. He dropped the heart in distaste, lifting his fingers to lick the warm blood on it. I felt my own veins pop up and went to jump at the dead body but Damon held me fast.
"Elijah." Damon warned. Elijah was on the bed in a flash, his non-bloody hand, taking my face so that I was looking in his eyes.
"She's been turned?" Elijah asked, though I thought it was obvious. The smell of blood was intoxicating, filling my every fiber. It was better than the blood they had given us which meant that it had been some sort of animal blood. No wonder Damon hadn't liked it much.
"Obviously." Damon gasped, struggling to keep me in his arms.
Elijah forced me to look him in the eye and said, "Sleep."
My eye lids went heavy, my body stopped jerking, and I fell fast asleep.
🤍𓆩♡𓆪☁️
I woke up feeling peaceful and warm, though there was also a slight breeze along my skin. I blinked open my eyes, taking in the dark paneled ceiling above me, along with a precariously placed chandelier that would crush my sleeping body should it accidentally fall.
The four poster bed was much grander than the one in the yacht, though this one didn't have the hanging curtains around it.
I sat up, taking in the rest of Damon's bedroom, with the full-length mirror beside the bed, the armchair in the corner of the room, stacks of books around it. The door to the bathroom was wide open and dark, revealing that there was nothing and no one in it.
The balcony doors had been left open, letting in the light wind that I had felt. The sun was low in the sky, indicating that it would soon be nighttime. The light did not hurt my eyes and I felt a sense of peace, being back in the Salvatore Boarding House.
I sat up gingerly, starving for both normal food and blood. I swung my legs around to the side, my feet hitting the floor with an un-vampire like thud. But that was probably not being used to actually moving like a vampire, and the extra weight of being a bloated pregnant woman.
In a flash, Elijah was in the room, having come from seemingly nowhere but I could hear quiet voices downstairs and assumed that everyone was down there.
"Elijah." I murmured, walking towards him, leaning my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me.
"How are you feeling?" He asked quietly. For once, he wasn't in a suit. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, and a green jacket.
"I'm good, I think." I pulled back from the hug, running a hand over the smooth yet rough fabric of the jacket, "Where's your nine thousand dollar suit?"
He chuckled, "I just needed one day to relax was all."
"How's Hayley?" I asked.
"She's in New Orleans with Hope." Elijah answered. "She's doing well."
"Good." I said with a smile and then sighed, "How is. . . how is Damon?"
"Worried about you." Elijah admitted. "But I'm sure he'll want to talk to you, now that you're awake."
"Can you tell me what happened?" I questioned.
Elijah nodded. "When you didn't return from the game show, Stefan had Bonnie try a tracking spell on both Damon and you. When it didn't work, they assumed that a witch was blocking you two. There had also been reports about the game show and something about an 'acid room'."
I flinched, shuddering at the memories. Elijah put a soothing hand on my arm. "Anyways, Caroline and Stefan came down and asked Freya if she could track you down. Freya said she would have to find the last spot you docked, but we weren't sure if you were still on the yacht or if they would've taken you off so Freya had to travel many different spots till we could find you. And then, once she tracked you down, Niklaus, Kol, Davina, Freya, Stefan, Caroline, Bonnie, Alaric, Marcel, Rebekah, and I came for you and Damon. I think Niklaus had a bit too much fun."
I laughed lightly, imagining Nik ripping the guards heads off and laughing, then said, "All of you came for us?"
Elijah smiled a little, "Damon might not be my favorite person on Earth, but we Mikelsons consider you one of our own and we're quite protective of you. Same goes with your friends. And of course, Caroline asked Niklaus and he can't say no to her."
I laughed outright. "Yes, you're quite right about that."
My stomach growled and I frowned, "Is that supposed to happen?"
Elijah chuckled, "Come on. I think Bonnie and Caroline made you food."
Indeed, I could smell a mixture of scrambled eggs, sausage, and blood from downstairs along with Elena complaining about the blood.
I sighed. "Elena's here?"
Elijah judged my face and then said, "Well, not anymore."
I looked at him, confused.
"Stefan just took her out of the house." Elijah explained with a small smile. "He heard you."
I flushed, feeling guilty, "Oh."
"Don't worry, anyone that might've told her didn't hear." Elijah continued.
I walked down the stairs, Elijah helping me as he seemed afraid that I might fall down because of my stomach. I admit, it probably was possible. I didn't need Kol to make jokes about the first clumsy vampire in history.
Entering the kitchen, I saw smiling faces shining back at me. The table was actually set for a lot of people, food on all the plates, blood in only some of the cups for the vampires.
Caroline, Niklaus, Kol, Davina, Freya, Bonnie, Marcel, Rebekah, and Elijah all sat down at their seats and I quickly sat between Nik and Elijah. There was an open spot, probably for Damon, but it wasn't filled.
Bonnie sent me the slightest of head shakes so I didn't ask about his lack of presence.
I ate quickly, scarfing down the food without thoughts to anyone else, downed the blood, and then sat back from the table and asked, "Where's Damon?"
"Outside." Bonnie said quietly, "I'll take you."
I stood up, following Bonnie out the back doors, across the patio, and into the forest.
"How is he?" I asked immediately, not bothering to care if we were out of earshot of the others or not.
"He's okay. Worried about you mostly. And the baby you're carrying." Bonnie looked down at the bump protruding from my stomach. "He had me run some tests when you were asleep. They look like they'll be very normal, a bit like Hope. We're not sure about diet yet, but as normal vampires can eat both human food and blood, the babies will probably do the same."
"Babies. As in, multiple babies?" I asked in surprise.
"Twins." Bonnie said with a smile. "I'm keeping the gender a secret."
I nodded, "Okay, that's alright."
"I'll leave you here, he's just a few more feet away." Bonnie said, turning back to go back towards the house. We really hadn't gone far.
"Bonnie!" I called after her and she turned back, her black hair bobbing on her shoulders, "Yes, Y/N?"
"Thank you. For trying to find us and helping get us out." I replied.
She smiled, her pearly whites shining in contrast to her chocolate skin. "You're welcome Y/N. Now go take care of your man. He's very lucky."
I flushed, "I'm the lucky one."
My man. Damon was my man.
Or was he?
I continued on and found Damon leaning against a tree, running a finger over a carving. "Hey." I whispered.
"Hi." He whispered back, turning his head to look at me, "You look good."
I flushed again. "Do you still. . . would you still like to be with me?"
Okay. That was very blunt and straight-forward. Maybe it was the nerves.
Damon turned, leaving the tree behind, one hand reaching out to cup my face, while the other went into his jean pocket.
"Y/N, I've always wanted to be with you. And those months on the yacht have only strengthened those feelings. But I need to have you properly, do you understand?"
I stared into his pleading blue eyes and I found myself confused. Properly? Like, make me his girlfriend?
He smirked at my confused face, the pleading gone, the cockiness back. But I could still see a little bit of hesitation in his eyes.
I was still confused, at least until he pulled out the small box in his pocket and knelt on his knee. I felt my mind go blank at this.
"Y/N Y/L/N, will you marry me?" Damon asked. He flipped back the top lid and I saw the [Silver/Gold] band of a ring, with a large [Your favorite gem] sitting on top of the band. There were a few, smaller [same Jem] imbedded in the ring and the entire thing seemed to shimmer in the sun.
Was this actually happening? How had I gone from thinking he might actually hate me to him proposing to me. And then the thought struck me.
"Is it the baby?" I asked. "Are you only asking to marry me because of the baby?"
"No." Damon said. "I'm asking you to marry me because I love you. Because you can make me smile no matter how crappy of a day I've had. Because you accept me with my flaws and quirks and you don't try to change me. Because you have a beautiful personality, inside and out. Because I love the way your E/C eyes light up when you see a baby animal or because you're having an amazing day. I love the way that you want to confide everything in me and because I love that you love me. I want to marry you."
"Yes." I breathed, taken aback by the small speech that had just exited from his mouth. I loved him. I wanted to be with him.
I held out my left hand, letting him slide the beautiful ring onto my ring finger. He then kissed the back of my hand before standing up, sliding both hands onto my face, pulling me in for a kiss.
The cursed baby bump stopped the both of us from being super close, but we tried anyways. I could taste bourbon and mint and pancakes on his lips and he chuckled and said, "Sausage? I thought you preferred bacon."
"It changes from day to day." I murmured. "Are you ready to go back up to the house?"
"Eager to show off the ring, are you?" He smirked.
I cocked my head to the side at that moment, "Why did they serve me breakfast at dinner?"
The sun was indeed setting and I had forgotten for a moment that as it was night, we should've had dinner.
"It was Caroline's suggestion that you have something light as you first woke up."
"Oh." I replied, relaxing. "And no, not the ring, the fact that you're finally mine."
"Yes I am." Damon said, kissing my cheek, taking my hand, and we vampire sped back to the house.
Of course, there would be problems after that. We would have to deal with the rest of the higher ups that would come after our children, but for now, we were safe. We were together. We were in love. We could go to bed every night and make passionate love without having to feel like we had to do it to get out of somewhere.
And of course, four months and two weeks later, [one boy-one girl, two girls, two boys] were born and we named them. . .

Luffy x ftm reader
Warnings: 1(?) mention of period
Word count: 1104
Request are open!
"Heyy heyyyyy (name) wake uppp" Luffy said while shaking you to death awake. You grumbled something along the lines of him letting you sleep longer until he said "Yea well I think you should wake up there's blood on your sheets, do you think someone broke in or something? Wouldn't that be hard since we're in the ocean?"
You usually just tuned the idiot your boyfriend out but as soon as you heard blood on your sheets, you basically felt the wetness of blood between your legs your period had started. You deflated at this fact a monthly occurrence that reminded you, you where in fact born in the wrong body. You got up got some clothes a wash cloth and a towel and mumbled something to Luffy about going to get in the shower.
He was confused to say the least if someone had broken in why'd you seem so upset about and why didn’t you say anything, where you stabbed in the groin or something is that why there was blood on the sheets?? He decided to ask Robin she's really smart so he'll ask her!!
Despite the fact you've been dating for a whole entire year it just never came up, usually you just took pain killers and slept all day but being waken up by your boyfriend just made it worse so you where a bit gloomy.
When Robin seen Luffy enter her gaze from where she was reading in the aquarium, it looked like he was looking around for someone or something so she asked him "Looking for something captain."she said amused. He simply smiled at her from where she was sitting sat down next to her and said "I was looking for you actually I wanted to ask you something." She returned the smile and asked what he wanted to know."I wanted to ask if you knew what was up with (name) he seemed down when I said there was blood on his sheets, and he just went to get in the shower do you think someone broke in and stabbed him in his groin or something." Robin already used to the idiot her captain was just said "I'm not sure maybe you should ask him if you're really that worried about him Luffy."
So Luffy said that was a good idea said thank you and ran off to go look for you. You who had just gotten out the shower and went to go see chopper for some pain killers. You and chopper who definitely didn't expect Luffy to just bust in his office, being used to him it didn't faze the two of you. You and chopper kinda just stared at him for a second to see if he would say anything after a couple of seconds of silence, chopper just went back to explaining how the pain killers could make you sleepy and to not take more than two a day or at a time. He was about to hand them to you until Luffy said "Why do you need pain killers did you really get stabbed in your groin? Did someone actually break in why didn't you say anything!?"
You stared at him for a good five seconds... ten seconds.... thirty seconds.... "What" you said honestly confused. So he repeated the dumb questions and you just answered with a 'don't worry about it.' This would be a mistake because the stubborn captain wouldn't take that for an answer I mean he just wanted to make sure his boyfriend didn't get stabbed cus someone broke in! So after being pestered for about two hours you started to feel sleepy from his constant pestering, and from the pain killers chopper had given you successfully subsiding the pain.
You turned around looked him dead in the eyes and asked him if he really wanted to know. He of course jumped at this opportunity to know what was wrong with his boyfriend, he'd been messing with about for two hours about it! So you told him simply "My period started that's why I needed pain killers and that's why I was gloomy." "Ohhh but I thought only girls got that or whatever." He said tilting his head confused. So you then explained to him that you where trans and then you explained what that was to him. After all that the only thing he said was "Ohhh" he laughed "That's pretty cool so you got girl parts but you're a boy." He smiled at you while saying that, it made your heart flutter he was just being so cute! You simply just told him yes and went back to your room to take a nap.
But when you got to your room despite Luffy's constant pestering for two whole hours, he was still your boyfriend and you did miss him and kinda felt needy for him. So you got up went to seek him out it was around lunch time so you went to the kitchen he surprisingly wasn't there. So you looked all over the ship despite missing him you just gave up and went back to your room to find.... he was right there waiting for you with food."Hey I was waiting on you and I talked to nami since she has girl parts, too and she said you probably would need food and a bunch of other stuff but I really wasn't paying attention after she said food but I got you some (name)!"
You smiled at this despite him having tuned out the rest of what nami said he still brought you food and waited for you in your room. "Luffy can we cuddle" you asked with a mumble and shyly slightly nervous but he just smiled up at you from his spot on the floor, and opened his arms inviting you in you walked over to him bending down to accept his invitation. He then stood up from the floor startling you causing you to hold on to him tighter and he layed you both down on the bed him on his back you on top of him. He pulled the blankets over both of you and rubbed your back, you truly didn't realize how tired you where from your period starting, being pestered by your boyfriend about why you where down and then explain to him why you where, walking around the whole ship just to find him in your room today was a eventful day even if it was only lunchtime.
You pushed into him more wanting to feel closer to him as you both dozed off into a nap that felt like pure ecstasy.

Fairy Prince - Hearts of Leviathans - Ch.18
Character: Sky x male reader, Riven x male reader, Brandon x male reader
Universe: Somewhere in Winx Club/Saga
Warnings: None
Whispers followed my confident question. Of course, I know the two are still on my list, but I don't care which would be my next enemy, even though I hope it will be the blonde, possibly the cruelest, who gave me moldy food and used me as a punching bag. All because he believes the rumors.
But neither seems ready to take a step forward. With a deep sigh, I stick my sword into the ground, ready to degrade the people who believe they are at the pinnacle of military power. That was until the blonde steps forward out of nowhere.
“You’re too cocky. You may have defeated Riven, but you’re just a pervert.”
At this point, that nickname doesn't even bother me anymore. I just don't like that such a lie could destroy the reputation I've built by winning a war I never wanted to be a part of. But my growing anger dissipated as I remind myself that no one there actually knows who I am.
“Can we start this fight?” I ask the instructor, to which he nods. A second later begins the fight verbally.
"You will go under, metal can never defeat plasma-"
Before the blonde could even finish his sentence, I cut the plasma blade in a single movement and held my sword to his neck. With a grin, I move my head close to his ear and whisper, "That's called the viper bite. I usually would have had a dagger in my left hand, so this snake only has one tooth."
Without waiting for a second, I stab him in the neck with the tip of the blade, only to draw out a single drop of blood before kicking his legs in and causing him to fall to the ground while also turning away in the same motion so I can would not be torn down with him. As he lies shocked on the ground, I'm standing over him with the point of my sword at his throat. A crashing sound followed his quick defeat. His weapon, which flew a few meters due to his fall, suddenly bursts as the energy crystal explodes into a thousand pieces.
Once again, everyone around us is speechless. When he looks at Saladin, it is clear that he has already resigned himself to his fate. Fully aware that his people had done something unforgivable. Now that he can see that my grandfather did not lie to him.
I kneel next to Blondie and stare into his clear blue eyes. A beauty of innocence, but they couldn't fool me. He's not the first pretty boy to try to catch me with feigned innocence, although the first one actually managed to trap me this way. His eyes were even clearer than those of the blonde below me, his hair dark and curly. I could feel my face fall. Why do I have to remember him now?
“You were so arrogant it was almost cute,” I whisper as I swallow the sadness building inside me. "Your grip is strong for a swordsman, but you are as flexible as a tree, and your footwork is almost worse than Riven's," I sigh deeply, "you have a lot of training ahead of you."
After giving him these tips, I stand up and walk away. But there's a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. Out of reflex, I raise my sword again to keep it behind me. A clinking sound and the feeling of something falling to the floor unnerves me. As I look over my shoulder, my blood begins to boil. There is a small dagger on the ground. I can't believe that an honorable soldier raised with the principles of a knight would do such a thing. It leaves me speechless.
At that moment, something just snapped inside me. The anger rising within me simply broke my patience. With my fist clenched, I turn around and run towards the blonde guy lying on the ground, who is grinning at me so smugly. It just makes me even angrier.
My hand hurt and burned after just a few hits. His face is hard, the bones so strong that I may have done more damage to my hand than to his face. But when people finally pull me away from him, his face is pretty beaten up, bloody, and swollen.
It actually took the specialists five men to pull me away from the dishonorable blonde idiot. They try to calm me down, but none of their words could do anything for me as they have looked down on me the whole time and still call me a pervert just because their walnut brains can't comprehend a male magic fairy.
As I am restrained, I close my eyes and begin to breathe lightly again, soothing my own mind with memories of the warmth of my childhood. But even that can only get me so far if the same person who sparked my anger keeps humiliating me, which is what the blonde does. Even after I beat him to a pulp, he couldn't stop insulting me. Luckily, I didn't react, which shows the guys holding me that I'm no longer a threat. At least, that's what they thought.
Then, as soon as they release me, I run forward, to everyone's visible and audible horror. With my sword before me, I am ready to strike him down. His eyes were as wide as possible with his swollen, almost blocked eyes. Another man is holding him, looking pale and fearing for his own life, although my blade wouldn't hit him as my only target is the monster he is helping.
With my eyes burning and my blade inches from his face, I prepare to kill another person. In my anger, I wait for blood to spray all over me. But it didn't happen, not even a little bit.
Instead, when I come back to my senses, my blade has been stopped by another. A massive, green greatsword. The wielder, someone I never thought would do this. I stare at him through gritted teeth and ask him in a whisper, "What are you doing? Let me kill the smug, arrogant dimwit!"
“I can’t allow that,” he answers quietly, as softly as he had always spoken to me. “He is my knight.”
“Knight?” I ask mockingly. “A knight would never be this underhanded! Throwing a knife in my back? You must be joking."
The brown-haired man briefly looks back at his knight. For a second, I even imagined seeing a momentary flash of disappointment in them, but before I could be sure, he turns forward again. Instead, all I could see was his determination to protect his knight regardless of what he had done.
I try to push him away, but the only thing that happens in return is he shoves me back instead. Startled, I stare at him with shocked eyes. My gaze even involuntarily wanders down my arms to my sword. But there's nothing wrong. So, how could he push me away so easily? His attention is already back on his knight.
"I'm sorry for my knight Brandon, but you can't just kill everyone who does something to you."
I roll my eyes and could only scoff. Once again, I'm beyond annoyed by his insolence. But to calm him down, I take a few steps away, preparing for the next fight.
“If I kill everyone who lied about me or said words to me that I don't like, no one here would be left alive.”
I could see and hear a heavy swallow going down his throat, by his Adam's apple bobbing up and down. Because he knows I'm right. I grin at having the upper hand and hold my sword out to him.
“A bet,” I offer him.
"What?" he asks, increasingly confused.
“A bet,” I repeat myself more slowly, “If I win against you, too, I want everyone in your group to grant me one wish.”
"Is that all?"
“No,” you smiled evilly, “I want one of you three to be my assistant, loyal and cooperative.”
“And what if I win?”
“Whatever you want,” I tell him, staring into his eyes, never breaking eye contact, which makes him visibly uncomfortable.
The brown-haired man turns to his friends. They both approach him, and as they speak quietly, I look around; the atmosphere is more tense. Many people watch my every move with a disdain I've never felt before. Why do these people hate me? Is it really just because I wanted to follow my birthright? Would they change if they realized the error in their beliefs? I don't think so, but only time will tell.
I stand there for a minute, staring at the three guys heatedly arguing about my bet. But to be honest, it has quickly become boring. I look up and stare at the sun for only a moment before just looking at my fingernails.
At some point, I must've zoned out because I have only come to my senses after I feel someone pushing me. I shake my head to clear it and see the instructor in front of me, his face twisted in disgust. He doesn't say a word. He only looks down at me as if I'm inferior to him.
Already ticked off, I feel my magic tingling in my hand, ready to bring this man back down to the ground where he belongs. But luckily for him, I catch Saladin's eye as he shakes his head. Annoyed, I let go of the magic building in my left hand, a spell that would've electrified the man to a crisp. However, when I let it go, my arm glows with lighting. It even affects my eyes, with which I stare directly into the teachers' orbs. I could see him swallowing in fear, exactly what I wanted to see.
"Let's get this over with," I mumble impatiently. "Are you ready, pretty boy?"
The brunette guy turns and looks around, but to his visible shock, my eyes are solely on him. It took me a moment too long for my liking to understand that he didn't think I could ever mean him. I call out to him, ready to pounce him, already in my attack stance. Then, and only then, it apparently dawned on him that I could actually mean him. He blushes a little but stood his ground.
Soon, the instructor begins our fight. Unlike the other two times, I don't move instantly and stare at my opponent. Strangely, he doesn't get as nervous as I thought he would. Smiling, hoping he is more than what meets the eye. After a few minutes, he still didn't make his first move, so I did it for him.
Instead of walking, I go down a little. I angle my feet and stand still for a second, only to suddenly start sprinting. My opponent's eyes widen due to my high speed. He could barely react in time to raise his sword into the sky and bring it down a moment later. Seeing this, I hold up my sword, blocking his attack with ease, holding his greatsword slightly above me. Not many people actually fight with a greatsword, as a metal sword of this size is heavy and difficult to handle. But since only the handle is made from metal and the blade comes from a plasma crystal, the weight is certainly not an issue.
I can see the terror in his eyes that even with the power he has put into his sword, I find it so easy to block his attack. Although I feel the pressure he's putting on my sword with his due to his immense strength, I don't show it to make him suffer psychologically. He is strong but not very smart. He could have tried to push me to the ground using his legs or even removing one of his hands from the hilt of his sword since I'm sure he could wield it with one hand. But he doesn't do it. His only way of fighting is direct. This is honorable, but it doesn't work in a real fight.
There were many different ways I could end this fight, even honorably. But what's fun in it? I grin because I know the third fight is almost over. But suddenly, the pressure on my sword grew exponentially. Confused, I raise my gaze up to my opponent. He wears a determined expression on his almost saintly features, portraying nothing but displeasure at the moment.
Soon, I could hear a cracking sound under my feet, and even my left hand begins to hurt from still blocking the brutes strike. I could hold the position if I have to. But to get through this fight unscathed, I really need to do something soon.
I let my sword waver under the growing pressure, gazing at my opponent's handsome features and waiting for him to smile.
And just as I think about it - not even a few seconds later - a big smile appears on his face because he believes he will win the fight and everything he wants from me. Now that I know he's already going berserk, I can finally end the fight.
I let my sword glide down the plasma greatsword and duck under it faster than the guy before me could react since he's out of his mind. Barely past the sword hanging above my head, I hear it crash into the stone, which cracked further under the enormous pressure exerted on it. My sword helped it come down further away from me. As soon as I feel my sword release from the pressure, I pull it towards me and quickly upwards. I quickly approach my opponent, and in an instant, I am standing in front of him, the sharp blade of my sword at his throat, cutting his skin lightly to bring him out of his rage.
The guy's eyes quickly clear again. The whitish, murky eyes turn into a warm hazel brown. To say it shocks me would be an understatement. I rarely found eyes beautiful, but these? They are from a different world.
“Man, you have beautiful eyes,” I murmur. It's only when I see the increasing blush on my opponent's cheeks that I realize that I actually said those words out loud and not only in my head. Embarrassed, I turn my head away but don't step away from him. "What's your name?"
He clears his throat, trying to hide his blush and replacing it with a grin.
“Sky,” he replies politely, a certain arrogance in his voice as if he is playing a role.
"Just Sky?“
“Prince Sky of Eraklyon.“
I stare at him dumbfounded, my mouth slightly open. He must have taken it to mean that I am amazed that he is actually a prince, but why should I? Instead, I look around. For a moment too long, my eyes are focused on the blonde guy that the guy in front of me called Brandon. He must have seen me staring at him because he moves nervously on his feet.
“Are you sure you're the Prince of the Golden Lion?”
“Yes,” he says, less confident than before.
“Okay,” I whisper back and sheathe my sword. I step back from him and bow to him mockingly with a slight wink, ready to put an end to this show fight.
I turn to Saladin and the others. Everyone is stunned. It feels good, but I'm still not satisfied for some reason. My eyes shift to Cory, but his gaze is focused on the rest of the forest and seemed struck by its beauty. But he couldn't fool me. With a furious gaze, I stare at him. It didn't take long for him to look at me, but he immediately looks away. He tries to pretend he didn't see my angry eyes.
“Let’s fight!” I shout to him.
Cory groans in annoyance, throwing his head back, refusing to acknowledge me. However, when some specialists persist in bothering him, he reluctantly looks in my direction. It's clear he doesn't want to engage in any conflict with me. All I could do is smile confidently at him.
But Corey wasn't lucky that day because, as my best friend's older brother, I know how to rile him up. I change my face to a cold facade, straighten my back fully, slam the tip of my sword into the ground, and walk towards him. I caught a suspicious look out of the corner of my eye, but he didn't move away, most likely to protect his honor. I mean, who would run away from a rookie, right?
As I approach him, I maintain a serious expression and don't even offer a slight smile. I move around him in a circle, like the superior predator that I know I am.
“I understand you’re afraid of me, Corey,” I start murmuring. Almost immediately, I could feel his gaze on me. But I don't know if he's already figured out what I'm trying to do or if I've already got him hooked. Anyway, it's just the beginning. “Since Richard's failed expedition put your family's name in jeopardy, and your little brother was never able to defeat me even when I was supposed to be a fairy, I understand you are afraid of failure. Especially now that my grandfather has taken a liking to you and your family.”
“Shut it!” Cory warns me quietly. All eyes were on us, but our voices were so quiet that few could hear our words.
As soon as those disrespectful words left his big mouth, I finally stop some distance away from him. I grin at him. It didn't take long for him to realize my end goal. His eyes widen in panic, and he tries to reach out to me to apologize, but it's too late already.
“I demand retribution for this disrespect,” I say loudly. “I demand a Dorbikurr!”
The murmuring crowd abruptly fell silent. Although most probably have no idea what "Dorbikurr" means, the heavy tone of the word is probably enough to convey that it's not something easy or positive.
For as long as I've known him, Cory has never looked so shocked.
“Are you in your right mind?” he asks me in a panic. “I am a close graduate of the Red Fountain Academy. Do you think you can beat me? You know what would happen if I win, right?”
"I have to give up everything and become your servant forever. Corey, do you think I'm stupid?" I ask him rhetorically, my grin growing wider.
Even though I would lose everything if I lose to him, he wouldn't suffer the same fate. As the one challenged to this sacred duel, he would only lose his ability to ever hurt me. He cannot fight me in the future, tarnish my reputation, or oppose me in any way, and if he learns of a plot to harm me, he must inform me. Nothing in this world or any other can break the sacred promise.
He sighs as he resigns to his fate. Seemingly confident he would win. Even though I challenged him, is he really this stupid or just too cocky. Either way, I'll be sure to wipe away the growing smirk on his face.

Terrible Fic Idea #79: Harry Potter, but make it Petunia Evans
I once asked my mother If you could travel into any fictional world, which would it be? and she unhesitatingly answered Harry Potter. While there's much to be said about the HP universe, it's not exactly a world I'd want to live in, and so I spent the last several months figuring out how, if I were to write an HP SI, would I do it, and eventually came up with this.
Or: What if the SI were to replace Petunia Evans as a young girl?
Just imagine it:
Rather than a true self-insert, I see this as more of modern muggle meets the British Wizarding World, with a middle-aged HP fan waking up in the body of 5-year-old Petunia Evans following a minor illness. The keyword here is fan - or rather, a critical fan - who enjoyed the books but is not unaware of their problems, be they with they author or the text - and particularly the way that, as one gets older, the less benevolent Dumbledore seems.
Once the SI has resigned herself to waking up in the body of Petunia Josephine Evans (two wars, puberty, and all of the 80s to live through again!), she realizes very quickly there is very little she can do to change the events of the first Wizarding War. All she can do is try to live the best life possible and provide a better life for young Harry Potter when he eventually shows up in her care.
(Starting with choosing to go by a short form of her middle name, Jo, instead of Petunia, as she thinks she might stab the next adult who tries to call her Pet after less than a week in her new life.)
Jo does this in number of ways - mainly by taking advantage of once having been a middle-aged woman with an engineering background and breezing through her education. Having been born only 18 months before Lily, Jo is 12-and-a-half when Lily gets her Hogwarts letter in January 1971 and studying for her A-levels and preparing to go to Oxford in the fall.
Unlike canon Petunia, Jo has no desire to go to Hogwarts - not only does she know exactly what the professor who comes to introduce Lily to the Wizarding World isn't telling her overawed parents, but she's never been close with her sister. Or any of her family. She's tried - she really has - but the Evans family had a clear favorite long before Lily ever learned of her magic. (Jo knows her parents' wedding date, precisely five months before she was born, and thinks that explains much of their feelings towards her; and the way her father in particular is taken with magic makes her think he might be a second-generation squib over the moon to see magic return to his line.)
While Lily is studying magic, Jo attends Oxford. By age 16 she has a BA and MA in Medieval History - specializing in the history of science (Think Diana Bishop in A Discovery of Witches). She gets herself emancipated the same year and starts in on her doctoral studies.
Once a week, she'll slip into the magical section of the university library system and pick up some back copies of The Daily Prophet, just to keep abreast of all the things Lily never tells their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Evans die in a car crash in late 1977, when Jo is 19 and Lily has just started her Seventh Year. Lily doesn't come home for the funeral, which Jo is left to plan all by herself. As Lily is not yet an adult in the muggle world, her care is left to Jo for the last few months, but when she finally gets a reply to her letters it's all don't pretend you care now, you abandoned us the first chance you got and you were always jealous of my magic anyway. This is the last Jo will ever hear from her sister, not getting so much as a birth announcement for little Harry.
By Halloween 1981, Jo has earned her doctorate in Medieval History and is working as an associate professor at the university. The pay is terrible, but she has all the insurance money from the Evans and some healthy investments based off her knowledge of her original world, enough for her to buy a small house near the college.
She stays up all Halloween night, waiting.
Harry Potter never arrives.
Jo spends all of 1 November fretting over what she might have changed to change this and falls asleep early, exhausted. When she wakes on the morning of 2 November, she finds her 15-month-old nephew on her doorstep.
And here's where things truly start to change.
That first week, Jo reaches out to a friend in the muggle child welfare department she may have originally cultivated for just this reason, explaining that her estranged sister's son has just appeared on her doorstep without any documentation other than a letter saying that his family has been killed and Harry's care falls to her.
Once the emergency paperwork has been filed on the muggle side, she girds her loins and heads to Gringotts. The goblins aren't the friendliest beings around, but they are fastidious. Jo has the muggle paperwork and a mildly threatening letter from Dumbledore stating she is to be Harry Potter's guardian, and so she gains control of the Potter financials and another layer of paperwork to back up her claim.
From there, a trip to a Wizarding lawyer to 1) file everything with the Ministry and 2) keep her underage nephew's name out of the papers is all she needs to finalize things. It may be overkill, but she's taking no chances when it comes to Dumbledore and his greater good.
And then she settles down into the business of raising Harry.
Jo is not the maternal type, but she manages to be a fairly decent parent nonetheless. Besides, Harry is a happy, easygoing baby, eager to explore his new home even if he doesn't quite understand why his parents had to go away.
So it's a surprise when, nearly a year into the endeavor, an auror and a representative from Wizarding child services arrives at her door. (Apparently her paperwork was all that was needed to remind the wizarding world that they had a duty of care to a magical orphan, no matter how famous, and the last year has been spent in legal battles where Dumbledore tried to suppress all knowledge of Harry's whereabouts and various others tried to attain that knowledge for various reasons, none of which anyone bothered to inform Harry's muggle guardian about.)
Regardless of the exact reasons for the delay, the visit goes well, and Jo ends up inviting the auror - Kingsley Shaklebolt - to return and tell Harry about his parents and the Wizarding world as he grows up, as she certainly can't tell him anything.
Harry's childhood is a montage of exactly what you'd imagine growing up in the care of an Oxford don would be. Kingsley is his most regular visitor, but with a Wizarding section to the college he eventually is introduced to others and their children for the occasional playdate. He's happy and healthy and a little more bookish than canon - a Ravenclaw with Gryffindor tendencies - and never quite forgets his aunts early lessons that critical thinking should be applied to everything, be it textbooks or news reports or children's books.
Harry's Hogwarts years pass exactly as one might expect when a child with an active and motivated guardian is placed repeatedly in danger. Particularly when that guardian is close friends with an auror who continues to pay weekly visits even after her charge leaves for boarding school.
Dumbledore is placed on suspension on allegations of child endangerment following the events of First Year, meaning Lucius Malfoy never feels the need to drop the Diary into Ginny's cauldron to cause trouble for the Light. He makes it out of the legal proceedings with all his titles, but with more than a little egg on his face. Part of the settlement involves increased security at Hogwarts - and changes to the ward scheme mean both Sirius and Wormtail are found shortly after the start of Third Year, given trials, and dealt with accordingly.
Sirius tries to gain custody of Harry immediately, but Jo refuses to even let him near the boy until he's gotten some of the mental help he so clearly needs after so much time with the Dementors.
Jo absolutely puts her foot down for the Triwizard Tournament, which Harry manages to get out of with her help, but he still ends up kidnapped at the end of the year while everyone is too busy watching the Third Task to notice. Voldemort is resurrected with help of Barty Crouch Jr - but because Crouch failed to check Harry for emergency portkeys, is able to escape as soon as his bindings are cut. He's dropped, covered in blood, straight into the middle of the Auror Offices.... which helps a lot of people to believe someone at least tried to resurrect Voldy, even if very few believe he succeeded and it's not an imposter running around.
With the Wizarding World aware there's someone running around calling himself Voldemort, even if very few believe it's the original, events of Fifth Year are vastly different. Dumbledore tries to pull most of his HBP tricks - the lessons, Slughorn, Snape taking over DADA - but they fail, largely because of that critical thinking thing Jo hammered into Harry as he was growing up. He passes along everything he's learned to Jo and Kingsley - the latter who, with some nudging from Jo, puts together Horcruxes and mobilizes the parts of the Ministry he can trust.
Sixth Year is largely Kingsley and co tracking down and destroying Horcruxes while Voldemort rages war across the Wizarding World. It goes so well he makes an open play for the Ministry at the end of the year - only to be killed by Kingsley during the battle, the last of his Horcruxes having been destroyed without his knowledge not long beforehand.
Kingsley is hailed as the new savior of the Wizarding World - a position Harry gladly abdicates - and is very quickly installed as the new Minister of Magic.
Harry goes on to graduate Hogwarts, gain a Mastery in Alchemy, and make several advancements in medical fields that earn him an Order of Merlin in his own right.
As for Jo? Well, she continues teaching at Oxford, eventually gaining a full professorship and writing several well-received books popularizing the History of Science. She never marries, but by the middle of Harry's third year is more or less living openly with Kingsley. They end up having one child together - very much a surprise, as Jo was convinced it was early onset menopause until the fifth month - born May 2, 1998, whom they name Elizabeth Evans-Shaklebolt. There are many in this Ministry who take umbrage at their Minister's ongoing affair with a muggle, but oddly enough its Kingsley's openness about his relationship with leads to an easing of tensions between the purebloods and muggleborns on the theory if a muggle is good enough for the minister, there must be something to them. Things are still far from perfect in the British Wizarding World by the time he retires, but the political situation is less tense than it's been since before the First World War.
Bonuses include: 1) A slow-burn friends to lovers arc for Jo and Kingsley that surprises both of them, with their friendship developing over the years as he visits Harry and not switching gears to romance until Kingsley continues to visit Jo's little house in Oxford after Harry goes off to Hogwarts (and realizes those visits were never just about Harry.) Theirs is not a grand, fated romance, but sneaks up on them like a sunrise after a long, dark night, and settles quite quickly into domestic bliss; 2) The Evans family being portrayed as not evil or intentionally cruel so much as personal circumstances led to Mr. and Mrs. Evans playing favorites with their children, and Lily internalizing herself as the "good" child and Jo as the "bad" one, deserving of scorn, regardless of her actions. For Lily, this was helped along by her childhood friendship with Snape, where she internalized the magic good, muggles jealous of magic, and the political situation at Hogwarts, where it became Light magic good, Dark wizards bad, everyone else in need of our guidance. It's a very black-and-white view and she might possibly have grown out of it in time, but she was never given the chance. (Or she might have played favorites with her own children, as her parents had done with her). She, like James, was far from perfect; and 3) Harry portrayed as a Gryffindor-leaning Ravenclaw who is friendly across all houses but who occasionally runs into trouble for not being Gryffindor enough for those who grew up hearing his story and a bit off-putting to children his own age after spending so much time around adults growing up. He grows out of the latter in time - though, as with Hermione in canon, there are growing pains - but not the former - which leads him to go after the stone in his first year in the first place. He should always be a little disappointed there's not more to Hogwarts and should always keep one foot in the Muggle world, earning Chemistry degrees to go along with his Alchemy Mastery. This too works to popularize Wizards getting advanced muggle education, which paves the way in time for greater advancements in the Wizarding World.
And that is all I have - admittedly light on Harry's Hogwarts years, but then again my issue with HP SI is that I, personally, would not want to attend Hogwarts. As always, feel free to adopt this bun, just link back if you ever do anything with it.
