#if you do in person you can also easily switch clinics

Hey i was wondering what the process was like to start testosterone and how long it took to get it ?
So for me the process was smooth as butter but I also looked specifically for informed consent clinics. I ended up with planned parenthood, it does mean I have to drive an hour to get there but because I'm a returning patient I get to do video calls now and I just go to my local drs office to get my blood drawn.
With an informed consent clinic you can usually get the prescription within the same appointment! If you don't go for an informed consent clinic it may take a few appointments and up to a year depending on their requirements. I have seen some doctors require you see a therapist for up to a year before they'll prescribe t.
I'm not sure about the process if you don't go to an informed consent clinic but at an informed consent one you show up. You talk about all the different side effects, what transitioning might look like for you, what you're hoping to get out of it. Then you sign a few things basically saying yeah I'm informed and I want this and that's it! I get my stuff mail ordered so I had to wait a week but besides that and the small wait for the appointment that was it!
Heres a map with all the informed consent clinics in the US!
#informed consent#testosterone#planned parenthood#warning i have heard the planned parenthoods in some areas are kinda iffy so please do your research#but i can verify that the north texan ones are good when you do the video calls any of the providers can pick up#so ive actually seen a few different clinics folks#if you do in person you can also easily switch clinics#also not all planned parenthoods offer it but generally once youre established on t you can just do video calls only

I believe I found the article that talks about modular DID (Clinical Presentations of Multiple Personality Disorder by Richard P. Kluft), and it also has a bunch of other presentations such as:
Classic DID
"The overt and readily observable behavior of such patients fulfills diagnostic criteria for MPD on an ongoing basis for periods of months or years, or even for a lifetime."
frequent changes of executive control (switches) cause easily observable memory gaps and altered behavior
includes "amnesia for amnesia" (forgetting that you forgot)
Latent DID
"patients whose alters are generally inactive but are triggered to emerge infrequently by intercurrent stressors, many of which are analogous to, symbolic of, or trigger memories of childhood traumata."
examples include patients who become overt when their children reach the age(s) at which they were traumatized, or when their abusers become ill or die
Posttraumatic DID
covert until the patient experiences an overwhelming contemporary event
Extremely Complex or Polyfragmented DID
"occurs when there is a wide variety of alter personalities and their comings and goings are so frequent and/or ephemeral that it is hard to discern the outline of the MPD behind the rapidly fluctuating and switching manifestations."
subjective experiences of confused and fluctuating identity and memory is an indicator
Epochal or Sequential DID
"occurs when switches are rare—the newly emergent alter simply takes over for a long period, and the others go dormant."
often missed, and can be suspected in patients with dense amnesia for periods of their adult life
Isomorphic DID
"a group of very similar alters are largely in control, and/or the alters try to pass as one."
only overt manifestation may be an unevenness of memory and skills, a fluctuating level of function, and inconsistency that is striking in view of the patient's apparent strengths
can be seen as puzzling due to the apparent lack of alternating personalities
Coconscious DID
confusing for its apparent lack of amnesia (patients with this presentation would be diagnosed with DDNOS in the DSM-IV)
"Such cases present with apparent alters that know about one another and do not demonstrate time loss or memory gaps. Usually there is amnesia, but it is covered over or relates to events long past, and becomes apparent only in therapy."
Possessionform DID
"occurs when the alter that is most evident or the sole manifestation presents itself as a demon or devil."
Reincarnation/Mediumistic DID
"presentations in which the presenting alters are egosyntonic within certain unique belief systems but are found to overlie more typical alters."
Atypical/Private DID
many patients are quite high-functioning
"occurs when the alters are aware of one another, and the isomorphic presentation is consciously adapted to pass as one."
Secret DID
closely related to Atypical DID
"the alters, although classic, never emerge except when the host is alone, and unlike the private form, the host is unaware of the alters."
Ostensible Imaginary Companionship DID
"occurs when a patient is found to have an apparent adult version of imaginary companionship with an egosyntonic entity that is coconscious and copresent and engages in friendly and supportive dialog with an otherwise socially constricted host. Examination reveals, however, that this entity does assume executive control, and that (usually) other entities are present as well. "
Covert DID
the truly classic form of DID
may be subdivided roughly into Puppeteering (hapless or accepting), Phenocopy, Somatoform, and Orphan symptom varieties
Puppeteering or Passive-Influence Dominated DID
"occur when the host is dominated by alters that rarely emerge. If the host is unaware of what is transpiring, he or she feels him or herself the hapless victim of influences that force behavior in ways not willed or chosen."
Phenocopy DID
"most important of the covert forms. It occurs when the final common vector of the alters' influences create phenomena that are similar to the manifestations of other mental disorders, or when the urge of traumatic materials overwhelms the patient's ego strength."
should be considered when a patient who appears to have another mental disorder fails to improve with the application of a therapy appropriate for that condition or if the condition is associated with a prolonged therapy or a poor prognosis."
a useful approach to suspected phenocopy presentations would involve the DES and an interview
patients with high scores on both the DES and Hypnotic Induction Profile (HIP) are much more likely to have DID than any other condition.
Somatoform DID
very common
"occur[s] when the discomfort associated with a painful event is reexperienced, with no conscious connection between the symptom and the historical event."
Orphan Symptom DID
closely related to all covert categories
"Dissociating patients are prone to divide their painful experiences along the behavior, affect, sensation, and knowledge (BASK) dimensions described by Braun. The intrusion of any such element into the ongoing mental life of a patient should initiate the search for a DD—an unwilling motor act, the unexplained intrusion of a strong affect, a sensation for which no medical cause can be found, or intrusive traumatic imagery."
Switch-Dominated DID
"In this form the switch process is occurring so frequently and/or rapidly that it rather than amnesia or the clear emergence of alters dominates. The patient appears bewildered, confused, and forgetful."
most common in extremely complex DID with a large number of alters
patient may be thought to have an affective disorder, psychosis, or a seizure disorder
Ad Hoc DID
very rare
"a single helper alter that rarely emerges persists and creates a series of short-lived alters that function briefly and cease to exist. The helper may speak to the host inwardly to advise on how to frustrate inquiries."
Modular DID
quite uncommon but most intrusive
"occurring when usually autonomous ego functions become personified and split and when personalities are reconfigured from their elements when mobilized. More standard alters may or may not be present. Such patients have an "MPD feel" about them, but once one has talked to qn apparent alter one may appreciate its vagueness and may never encounter it in exactly the same way again."
"The few patients in whom this form has been found have been seriously abused, brilliant, and creative... There are clear analogies between this form of dissociative defense and computer functioning, and it may well be that this form will be seen with increasing frequency in the future. In all cases thus far seen, the common factors have been stellar brilliance, bizarre symptoms, and an inconsistency in the manifestations of the apparent alters, who appear generally similar on repeated encounters, but never quite the same."
Quasi-Roleplaying DID
very rare prior to 1985
"A personality plays out what has been learned of the other alters as deliberately enacted roles, and then informs the interviewer that he or she is feigning MPD. In another form, the patient immediately follows up apparent alter behavior with statements that the patient is aware of what has occurred and has willfully generated it. With further assessment, it is discovered that the patient is upset about the possibility that the diagnosis is MPD, and is attempting to preempt the chance of receiving the diagnosis."
Pseudo-False Positive DID
quite common in the 1970s and early 1980s, but became more rare as DID became more widely recognized
"The patient makes a questionable presentation that is clearly based on a well-known case or is so flamboyant as to appear contrived. The presentation is dropped as soon as the patient appreciates that the clinician is competent, caring, and interested in him or her as a distinct human being rather than as a curiosity."

PSA for fellow USAmericans who might be considering their health insurance options (since it’s the time of year for it at time of writing):
If you have ANY other option, I recommend staying as far as possible from any private (non-government administered) plan talking about “reference-based pricing” or “disrupting the health insurance establishment to save you money”.
I hadn’t heard of this type of plan until a couple of months ago, and neither had my colleagues who’ve worked in my field (billing for a private healthcare specialist’s office) much longer than I have, when we all of a sudden had several clients switch to similar plans within a few weeks of each other, so I suspect it’s likely that they’ve been making a push to get a foot in the door this year. I’m sure it’s legally inadvisable to outright call them “scams”, but IMO they are at the VERY least operating on a business model that’s extraordinarily ill-thought out, and at worst (likeliest) it seems to me that they’re misleading and predatory in a way that’s somehow still shocking and infuriating to me after years of working in healthcare billing in the US.
More detailed explanation / further Advice from your Friendly Neighborhood Angry Socialist Healthcare Billing Administrator below the cut, for those who want more information.
So the issue here essentially is that these companies are trying to sell clients (looks like particularly small business owners and HR people looking for plans to offer their employees) on the idea that they’re ~shaking up the corrupt industry~ to improve transparency and costs, and like, if that’s what they were actually doing? I’d be so incredibly for it, you don’t even know. Fuck everything about the established health insurance industry, I want to see them burn as much as the next person.
But what they’re actually doing is deciding it would save THEM a lot of money to just pay doctors / other healthcare providers as little as they want to, and that the problem getting in the way of that is that there are usually contracts establishing how much they’re supposed to pay, and it would be cool to just… not have those! From there, the plan is:
1) telling bosses “hey, we’ll cut your costs by offering you a plan that’s cheaper than conventional ones!”
2) telling workers / clients “hey, you know how your health insurance plan determines what doctors you can see and have insurance pay for it? Fuck that, see whoever you want!”
3) conveniently neglecting to mention that if your brilliant plan to lower costs is “just don’t have contracts with providers, so there’s no agreed-on cost and we can pay them whatever we unilaterally decide is fair!”, that also means there’s no contract obligating the healthcare providers to accept your insurance at all (which is extra bullshit when you consider that they can’t tell you which providers have agreed to take their insurance, on account of how they don’t actually have a list of providers who have agreed to take their insurance, since they decided agreements were unnecessary)
Basically, it ends up saving the bosses and the insurance company a shitload of yachts-and-blackjack money, but then puts You The Patient in a situation where you’ve been told “yeah, see whoever you want, we don’t give a fuck”
So you go to the local clinic or your usual therapist or whatever and say “oh, here’s my new health insurance card, they said I could be seen here,” and hand them a card for a company that
A) they’ve never heard of
B) they have NO contractual obligation to work with, and
C) a brief google search can easily tell them openly intends to pay them significantly less than any of the insurance plans they do work with (besides the few that are allowed to get away with setting their own prices because they’re literally run by federal government-affiliated agencies and using that considerable leverage for the benefit of senior citizens, people on disability benefits, veterans, etc — they essentially plan to use the base pricing THOSE plans use, except… as a private, for-profit company, and without discussing it with the other parties involved.)
All of which is likely to just put the staff at your local clinic or whatever in the awkward position of having to tell you “I’m so sorry, it doesn’t look like that’s actually a plan we work with, we’re going to have to do self-pay for the recent visits / if you’d like to continue,” and put YOU in the awkward situation of having to pay for that shit out of your own pocket.
What do I do if my employer is offering a reference-based pricing plan?
So glad you asked, me.
My recommendation would be to look at what other options they have available if you work for a company that offers multiple options, or to opt out of their plan and look into the options available to you via your state’s health insurance marketplace — open enrollment for most states is November 1 - January 15th, so at the time of this post (November 23rd) it’s ongoing and now’s the time to do something about it!
But that means my work won’t help with payment of my insurance premiums?
Yeah, but in the context of this discussion, we’re weighing the cost of paying your own premium in full against the potential cost of being told you can see whatever providers you want, doing so, and then ending up having to pay them out of pocket at the uninsured rate because your insurance actually does jack shit and fuckall, which can EASILY get a lot worse.
Also, some employers will reimburse a portion of the premium cost if you have outside health insurance, so check with your HR department or your boss (and maybe let them know why you decided not to go with the insurance they’re offering).
Also-also, if you’re in a lower income bracket, the ACA / healthcare marketplace options on your state’s healthcare marketplace website will include Medicaid plans, which are subsidized by the government to help low-income folks afford them.
Ok, I’m looking, but how do I pick the plan that’s right for me?
Oh god I have a whole other post about this but it’s from ages ago and I don’t have the spoons to look for it right now, but the basics boil down to:
A) Look if possible for plans where, if there is a deductible, either it’s as low as possible or it doesn’t apply to services you anticipate needing at least semi-regularly
B) If the difference in monthly premiums for two plans is MORE than the difference in what you can reasonably expect to pay out of pocket in copays during a month, the “cheaper” plan isn’t saving you money.
So like for example, if I’m choosing between two plans and the up-front cost between them is like, $250 / month or $400 / month, and the $250 plan has specialist services I need 4 times a month covered under a deductible while the $400 plan has a flat copay of $20 for those same services, then my numbers will end up looking like “$250 + (4 x $125) = $750, vs “$400 + (4 x $20) = $480), which would make the $400 plan cheaper for me overall, even though the premium is more expensive.
You want the plan where the monthly costs for your premium PLUS expected average monthly out of pocket costs for services you’re likely to need routinely is as low as possible, is what I’m getting at here. No real way around doing the math, unfortunately, though if you DM me during open enrollment I’ll probably be willing to do the math for you out of sheer spite toward our country’s bullshit insurance “system”.
C) If you can’t afford a plan with a higher premium, it’s still worth getting something, but be aware that low-premium plans are typically going to be “catastrophic” health insurance plans, designed primarily to put a (high) cap on how much medical cost you can incur at once if you like, survive a freak accident or something — as a rule, they’re not going to do much to help you with much besides either the super basic preventive care they’re required by law to cover or keeping your total annual costs from an accident or major illness from getting too wildly astronomical. If you need non-emergency specialist care even semi-routinely, I’d encourage trying to avoid this type of plan if possible, and ALWAYS checking in with your plan and your providers’ billing department to figure out how much you need to budget for out of pocket costs when you do need to see a specialist or something, because you do NOT want to be caught off guard by that shit.
What else can I do?
Uhhhhh, advocate for socialized healthcare like every other fucking rich country in the world has had for decades, I guess? We’re not some special case where it would never work, we’ve just got a bunch of craven politicians invested in telling us that because of that sweet sweet insurance company lobbyist money they get in exchange for keeping things the way they are. Fuck ‘em, if that wasn’t clear.
Also, be gay / do crimes / look out for each other on this bitch of an earth / seriously DM me if you want me to help you figure out your options, ok I love you bye ✌️

Since u want it Ranting anon will do their thing (Btw I use any pronouns so dw about gendered terms :D) and rant! So I'm gonna talk about executive dysfunction because that an be useful to know for pretty much anyone! So executive dysfunction is the way your brain works, specifically the executive functions lol, don't work the way they should. The three main things that are kinda "messed up" in a sense are your cognitive flexibility (ability to go from one task to the next,) your inhibition control (ability to control what you do, say and thing,) and your working memory (your ability to remember things regarding a task your doing for the duration of the time your doing that task, like short-term memory)
So the cognitive flexibility thing is the most noticed one because it makes it hard to do things like taking care of yourself or actually completing a task. The best way I've seen it described was by this one person on tiktok who compared it to trying to touch a stove or climb down from a tree, even if logically you know its safe something in you just won't let you do it. It's like that but for simple things, it tends to stunt your ability to gain habits because something that you could do easily one day all of sudden you can't bring yourself to do today while you have a voice in the back of your head telling you that it's easy and that your pathetic for not doing it. The reality is that it isn't easy, you could have everything set up for you, all you had to do was push a button but because you were already stuck on one task you can't switch over to hitting that button. It's not you deciding to not do something, it's your brain not letting you actually do that thing.
That also ties into the inhibition control, your brain might let you do one thing super easy, or actually make you do that thing but it wont let you do something else, it's not something you can control in the slightest because it's literally just how your brain works. You aren't being lazy, it's honest to god hard for you to actually start doing that thing. Once you actually start its the easiest thing ever, it's just actually switching to starting that task that feels impossible (again, cognitive flexibility).
The working memory thing is actually working on a task, maybe you were going to write an essay but you got distracted reading and spend 12 hours on that and then had to rush your essay but you also forgot to turn it in because you were thinking about what you were reading. Another thing connected to that is actually starting a task, it can be hard to start it when you can't imagine the end product, that's because if you don't have something in your memory that you can follow, something you've done before so you have something to re-stash into that working memory category you can't really figure out how to do and we repeat back to cognitive flexibility (at least that's what I've noticed with myself, if I don't have knowledge on how to do something, a format to follow, I can't do it.) There are a lot of examples for all of these and these are sort of just what I've figured out myself, I may not have explained it the best so I suggest doing your own research if this is a topic that interests you!
I got all my information, for the most part, from the Cleveland Clinic website, I will share more when I figure out how to put what I mean into words, hope this helps with any struggles if you were confused about something and found this related to you <3 There is a lot more to executive dysfunction but this is already very long and I will get into that another time! >:3 (Btw, again, this might not be 100% accurate so again if you really want to, do your own research but I will share what I find once I have more info!)
OOOOOOH INTERESTING!!!!!!
I am downloading all of this into my brain thank you! The working memory thing is so relatable, I literally have done the Sims 4 thing where I walk into a room ( while thinking of something else) and then forget what I was doing and then i go back and remember and then I forget again and it's like the longest memory loop ever.

Wylde Flowers
Played on: iPad 9th generation, with 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controller
Accessibility: ★★★★★
Storyline: ★★★★★
Game mechanics: ★★★★☆
If you love Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons and its descendants like Stardew Valley, Wylde Flowers is for you. It’s available on Steam, Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade and offers several hours of cozy playtime for you to enjoy. It has won several awards already and for good reasons: Wylde Flowers brings an interesting and relatable female protagonist, a very diverse cast of characters and what it lacks in customization, it makes up in stellar voice acting and a wonderful soundtrack. And yes, just like most of these farming simulators, there are romanceable characters, but finding love is not a requirement - you can enjoy the entire game while staying friends with everyone if no one catches your eye. I personally chose to date however, because it’s something I enjoy in those games, and I’d like to suggest you wait until Summer to choose (not everyone you can pick is already in town is the only thing I’ll say).
As someone who’s dexterity is not the best, I was pleasantly surprised to find that every task and activity on your farm can be performed with a single button. Watering your crops, fishing, cutting down trees, splitting boulders - same button, no button mashing, no complex mini-game (looking at you Stardew), etc. The energy bar is well balanced and you can easily recover energy in various ways throughout the game. Also, there is no chance of you passing out due to exhaustion since if you try to perform an action that requires energy on an empty bar, Tara will alert you that she’s out of strength and that she should eat something. No more accidental axe swing that lends you at the clinic!
The storyline seemed a little confusing at first, what with being dropped in the game without the eternal “You have inherited a farm” prologue, but within a few in-game days, you should understand what’s happening. Tara (the name of your character) has come to Fairhaven for a reason, but it’s your job to find her purpose. The game has choice based conversations at many points, where you choose a little bit of Tara’s personality, priorities, and interests. Do you like the cold? Did you prefer the city to this little farm? It’s never anything major but it’s enough for Tara to feel more like you, if you choose to do so. These also influence how others react to you and how certain events play out, which gives this game a nice replay value.
The diversity in my opinion is some of the best I’ve seen in a video game like this. Sure, there might be the odd Black character in other games, but how many times have you played a game where the NPCs are not three limited shades of peach? From Damon Mthembu-Haas (South African) to Giva Joshi (Indian), the game has a range of ethnicities and religious backgrounds (save some beeswax for the menorah, thank me later) that are believable and not just forced diversity. Not only is the cast diverse in race, but also in gender and sexuality - nonbinary, gay, lesbian, plenty of characters are at least implied to be bisexual (yours included if you decide). The game has been a GLAAD nominee in the 34th iteration of the awards for its representation, so this isn’t just a personal opinion. The only unbelievable part is that everyone, regardless of their own identity, accepts everyone else for who they are, something that unfortunately doesn’t happen often enough in the real world.
Now, the only reason I didn’t give the game mechanics full mark is because of two things: time limits and confusing heart events schedule. While similar farm simulators have always had events, in Wylde Flowers, some things have very time dependent. Complete these specific quests before a festival for example, but these quests are given to you in quick succession and suddenly you have several crops to grow as quick as possible and recipes to make before a certain day. Or (slight spoilers) we must change the season quick or else everyone is in trouble and certain things keep going wrong. If there’s one thing I don’t like in life, it’s being rushed. I’d like to enjoy my days without wondering if my fennel is going to be ripe in time to save a life, thank you very much. For the hearts events, the characters aren’t always where you expect them to be on their schedule and it’s hard to find where you’re supposed to meet them without looking it up. If you’ve memorized that Lina is at her store from 8AM to 5PM except for Thursday and Sunday (where she can be found in the woods), it’s very possible that you’ll miss her standing in front of the school one day (during school hours!) for a friendship event.
However, the game itself is remarkable. If you have hours to spare and a need for coziness, give Wylde Flowers a try. Wishlist it and let Studio Drydock know that you enjoy their work, we could use more games like theirs!

True and real! I agree that gender binary is generally bad and in fact I wish that I could opt out of hormones completely without rapidly deteriorating my health.
That said, unfortunately having some binary sex hormones are generally necessary for long-term wellbeing and health. That meant that I had to choose between my birth guy hormones or woman-y hormones if I wanted to avoid a ton of health complications. I chose to transition to become hormonally more woman-y since switching hormones felt much more nonbinary than keeping the same ones, at least for me personally. (I also felt like I should definitely have boobs, regardless of my assigned gender at birth). However, I’m not a woman which makes the term trans woman a dysphoric self-identifier for me.
Now you might wonder, why do you ever need to talk about your hormonal transition? Well sometimes I really crave salty foods a lot or I really want a lot of cuddles or I have periods and I ideally like to qualify those lived experiences by noting my hormonal layout. Now sure, I could just say “I am an amab who now has the hormonal layout of a woman but I’m not a woman and I’m actually nonbinary. Anyway…” but that’s incredibly clunky. Instead, I like to have an easy and clear non-clinical self-identifier that signifies my hormonal transition to allow me to easily contextualize my experiences with my hormonal makeup.
I have also found that generally other people who have gone from guy hormones to woman-y hormones are generally similar to me in specific ways, and like most humans, I like to “find my tribe” so to speak. Having the short and clear label of transfem, especially within label based internet communities made it easy for me to find people that I especially vibe with. Without a short and clear label I would likely struggle to find other nonbinary amabs who hormonally transitioned to the woman-y hormones.
Side tangent: I disagree with you that the terms transfem and transmasc have to always correlate to birth sex. For example I have one nonbinary transmasc friend who is amab and the label transmasc is generally a good descriptor of them. They note that the term fits them well because they kept their amab hormones in their transition while embracing their masculine side throughout their social transition to being nonbinary. They also often feel more similar to transmascs than transfems or cis guys which means the label transmasc for them functions similar to me in finding their tribe.
For me, and for other nonbinary people I know, the terms transfem and transmasc help us find communities where we share the same hormones and smoothly communicate which hormones we have without causing dysphoria or feeling needlessly clinical.
I agree that imposing binary labels onto those who do not want them is wrong and I’m sorry that you have felt the gender binary reimposed onto you by the trans community via these labels. At the same time however, I still feel that the terms transfem and transmasc definitely have their place in the community and do not always coorelate to birth sex. Both can be true at once.
Really hate that the queer community's response to the creation of a gender trinary (girl, boy, and nonbinary, which is still not all-encompassing) was to... reinvent the binary. We just started grouping all genders into "masc/male-aligned" and "fem/female-aligned" and it's so fucking stupid. Even with the occasional allowance of "neutral/unaligned" it still maintains the binary as the standard. And then they don't let you use certain labels if you don't have the "right" gender alignment. The fuck.

Opening Convenience: A Guide to Phlebotomist Hours for Your Blood Tests
Unlocking Convenience: A Guide to Phlebotomist Hours for Your Blood Tests
When you need to have blood tests done, understanding the hours of operation for phlebotomists can make the process much smoother. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll explore phlebotomist hours, the benefits of knowing their schedules, practical tips to get you started, and much more. Whether you’re doing it for routine checkups, diagnostic purposes, or specialized testing, this article will empower you with the knowledge you need.
What is a Phlebotomist?
A phlebotomist is a healthcare professional trained to draw blood from patients for various medical purposes, such as testing, donations, or transfusions. Phlebotomists ensure that blood samples are collected safely and effectively, making them an essential part of your healthcare experience.
Why Are Phlebotomist Hours Important?
Understanding phlebotomist hours is critical for several reasons:
Convenience: Knowing when phlebotomists are available can help you plan your visit better.
Minimized Wait Times: Choosing to go during less busy hours can result in shorter wait times.
Flexibility: Various locations may have different hours, giving you multiple options.
Typical Phlebotomist Hours
Phlebotomist hours can vary significantly depending on the location. Below is a table summarizing the general hours you might expect in various healthcare settings:
Location
Typical Hours
Hospitals
24/7
Outpatient Clinics
Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Laboratories
Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 7 PM
Mobile Phlebotomy Services
Variable; Check Local Listings
Benefits of Knowing Phlebotomist Hours
Being aware of phlebotomist hours offers distinct advantages:
Better Appointment Planning: Easily schedule your blood tests at a time that suits you.
Reduces Anxiety: Knowing when to arrive helps to ease any nervousness related to the procedure.
Improved Health Management: Regular blood tests become seamless, promoting better overall health.
Tips for Scheduling Your Blood Test Effectively
Here are some practical tips to help you schedule your blood tests with ease:
Call Ahead: Always confirm the hours with the facility before visiting.
Ask About the Best Times: Phlebotomists may have certain hours that are less busy.
Consider Fasting Times: If fasting is required prior to your test, plan your appointment accordingly.
Use Online Scheduling: Many clinics now offer online booking, making it easier to find the right time.
First-Hand Experience: A Personal Case Study
Please allow us to share a brief case study to illustrate the differences phlebotomist hours can make:
Jane, a busy mother of three, needed to get routine blood tests done. Initially, she visited a local outpatient clinic without checking the phlebotomist hours. This led to a frustrating 45-minute wait during peak hours. Seeking more convenience, she later switched to a nearby laboratory that offered extended hours in the evening. Not only did this reduce her wait time, but she also felt less rushed, allowing her to manage her family obligations more effectively.
Conclusion
Understanding phlebotomist hours is key to ensuring that your experience with blood tests is as convenient and stress-free as possible. By planning your visits around these hours and applying practical tips, you can minimize wait times and feel more in control of your healthcare journey. Whether it’s at a hospital, clinic, or through a mobile service, being informed will empower you to prioritize your health efficiently. For further inquiries or to find your nearest phlebotomist, don’t hesitate to contact your healthcare provider or visit their website.

Teeth Aligners: Everything You Need To Know
Teeth aligners or clear aligners have started to gain large popularity recently as a great alternative to braces.
Since they are made up of transparent plastic material, they are less noticeable when worn as compared to metal braces which is one of the biggest reasons that contributes to their popularity.
In this blog, we will be discussing every important information regarding aligners including how they work, what are their benefits, how much they cost, and so on.
If you want to know more about the teeth aligner treatment, consider visiting one of our orthodontists in Agra.
What are Teeth Aligners?
Teeth aligners are an orthodontic device that is used to straighten misaligned teeth. But unlike braces, they do so without having any major drawbacks. It is because they provide several benefits over braces such as improved comfort and easily removable.
Also, teeth aligners are beneficial in treating several dental cases such as:
· Misaligned teeth like crooked teeth, gapped teeth, and overcrowded teeth.
· Overbite, Underbite, and Cross Bite Problems
· For realigning teeth that moved out of placement again after braces.
In the case of slightly to moderately crooked teeth, these aligners are highly effective. However, in instances of more pronounced misalignment between the jaw or teeth surgery may be a different alternative. But, it is recommended that talk to a verified orthodontist and get the best plan of treatment for you.
If you want to know whether teeth aligners are a good option for you or not, it’s advised to visit a certified orthodontist like the ones in our dental clinic.
With their personalized treatment plans and a patient-centric approach, Tooth & Gum provides the best dental clinic in Agra. Hence, they can easily tell you whether aligners are a good option for you or not.
How Do Teeth Aligners Work?
Similar to braces, aligners for teeth help in teeth correction by applying constant and gentle pressure on teeth to gradually straighten them with time.
Each aligner will slide your teeth and each new set of a tooth pushes the teeth by as close to 0.2 mm to 0.3mm. Your orthodontist may also adhere small tooth-colored attachments to your teeth that will allow the aligners fit on and straighten your teeth more efficiently.
Here’s how Teeth Aligners work:
· Firstly, your orthodontist will take your bite impressions to create a 3D model of your mouth using a digital scan. This is done to decide the best treatment plan for your teeth.
· This analysis will be used to plan your aligners course. This plan will decide how many aligner sets you will need during your course. It can be as less as 12 sets or as many as 48 sets.
· You will then receive your aligners from your orthodontist. Also, your orthodontist might give you practice aligners to get you get you comfortable before beginning the treatment.
· These should be used for approximately two weeks before you switch to the next pair. It generally lasts for about six to eighteen months, though, it might also take more or less time in some circumstances.
· After the end of the course of the treatment, the orthodontist will provide you with retainers to wear for 6 months. This is so to maintain the new positions of your teeth.
What are the benefits of teeth aligners over Braces
Teeth aligners provide several benefits as compared to braces such as:
· Since teeth aligners are transparent, they attract much less attention and are far less noticeable when worn as compared to metal braces.
· Since teeth aligners are removable, maintaining your oral health is far easier with them since you can simply remove them to clean your teeth.
· As compared to metal braces, clear aligners need fewer appointments during your straightening process.
Overview
Teeth aligners are a great way of straightening teeth. Due to the benefits they provide over metal braces, teeth aligners have gained a lot of popularity amongst patients.
But along with this, teeth aligners also have some drawbacks as compared to metal braces. Similarly, the cost of clear teeth aligners in India can cost about Rs 75, 000- Rs 3,00,000.
However, in all cases, it is wise to seek the opinion of a certified orthodontist as he will advise you on the most suitable treatment on the severity of the case and your pocket.
And if you want to get aligner treatment for yourself, consider getting it from a qualified dental professional, like those who work with us.
Our dental practitioners are renowned for their innovative approach and patient care due to which Tooth & Gum provides the best dentist in Agra.
So those who are looking for an effective treatment at a reasonable price, Tooth & Gum Clinic is the right place for you.

👫[[ go ahead and do it for all of em im curious to hear what ur feelings are about sampo, boothill, svarog, AND the future jing yuan >:3 ]]
THIS IS GONNA BE SO LONG GET FUCKING READY BUN
Sampo
Eros likes to go find Sampo in the wild and try to not scare him, but catch him off guard. He thinks it's really cute seeing how he'll try and cover up and divert attention from the situation.
When Sampo comes to the clinic there is a lot more going on than just him being healed and half the time he'll come out with new bruises and scratches that weren't there beforehand and will not get healed because they're able to be hidden
He'll always pretend to fall for a scam if Sampo even tries because he thinks it's really funny to see how quickly he switches up when Eros gives in easily. Never once has he reported anything to anyone but the fact that his head goes there is the only kind of joke that he personally enjoys
They have absolutely gotten caught mid make out session on the cot and the vidyadhara has had to like fix himself up and try and go about looking over a patient as if there is not currently a very large man sitting there waiting for him.
Boothill
There's a comfort that Eros finds in Boothill as somebody who's also lost his family and what he used to believe was his home. While neither has ever gone into detail, there's an understanding and that's enough
Just because he's metal does not mean that he's free from bite attempts. You'll have to pry the cyborg man from between his jaws he thinks it's very fun considering they have the same shark-like teeth. Though he's very prepared at all times to be bitten back
You ever just steal a man's earring while he's sleeping because he's gonna be leaving soon and it gives him a reason to come back to see you? Yeah, he does that all the time and wears it because it reminds him of Boothill thank you.
Unlike anyone else in this list I'm making for you, Bun, Boothill does not get any ounce of brat from the vidyadhara. Maybe it's the accent or the fact that a gun could be pulled at any time, but he's extremely willing to submit at the ranger's hands.
Svarog
The very definition of would you smooch a robot because yes he would. He doesn't care that Svarog is metal he's getting so many kisses. His face if you can call it that, his way too big hands. His fingers tips that are much large than Eros? His shoulders? His chest? Everywhere. He loves him.
Eros can't cook for Svarog because of obvious reasons but he'll try and find little bits and bobs to bring him. Mostly things like flowers from his trips to other planets because he thinks it'd be nice considering those can't be found on Jarilo-VI.
I like thinking of Eros falling asleep against him after a particularly long day and the robot just kind of draping him in his coat because his readings indicate that a certain vidyadhara is susceptible to the cold, and despite him having a portable heater you can't be too careful.
He already saw Clara as his daughter before the two were even remotely close but now he feels like they have their own little family because they're two dads and their very smart, very cute little girl
Jing Yuan
Eros exists almost constantly under Jing Yuan's desk because he never learns that teasing the general and being a terrible brat comes with consequences and punishments from a man who is more than prepared to deal with his ass
That being said he's also got a sweeter streak and likes to pull the general away from duties for cuddles
Eros and very bitey and very possessive. This mixed with the other's status means that he tries very hard to leave marks all over him but always ends up healing them when pressed to because he can't really tell that man 'no'
He has absolutely purposefully gotten Mimi to get on the bed and the two have taken up the entirety of it while he lays there on top of her just looking at this man like the knife cat meme.

What is Outpatient Rehab for Alcohol and How Does Outpatient Alcohol Rehab Work?
One of the most horrible addictions to give up is alcohol. People who are addicted to alcohol feel like everyone and everything is asking them to start drinking. It looks like getting help for alcoholism is unrealistic. It's important to first understand what alcohol rehab is before knowing about outpatient rehab. Read the article below to learn about what outpatient alcohol rehab is and how it works; it has every piece of information you need to know.
What is Alcohol Rehab? Almost all people know that alcohol rehab centers have the goals of helping people recover from emotional, mental, or physical problems after their alcohol addiction. Alcohol rehab centers deal people in a friendly environment with an attention on their mental health. Refining the person's skills, freedom, and overall quality of life is the goal of these centers. What is Outpatient Rehab for Alcohol? Outpatient rehab is an addiction treatment in which patients can live at home or in another safe and relaxing environment and continue working or going to school. In outpatient treatment programs, patients normally visit a treatment center, hospital, mental health clinic, or behavioral counselor commonly in specific hours and days of the week. People getting outpatient rehabilitation do not have to remain at the center. After treatment hours, patients are allowed to live at home or in another non-clinical setting. This type of treatment involves many weekly counseling sessions that are stopped after the symptoms of the addiction disappear.
Programs for Outpatient Alcohol Rehab: Outpatient treatment for alcohol rehab is now easily available everywhere around the world in a range of plans. Day treatment, intensive outpatient, and continuing care groups are the three most common types of outpatient alcohol rehab. Expert physicians and doctors suggest to addicted people what treatment plan will be best for them according to their needs. During their recovery, people may even start with one routine and then switch to another. The following are the main three types of outpatient alcohol recovery programs: One-Day Treatments: In this treatment plan, people need to join five to seven days per week and may need to participate in half-day or full-day programs. This treatment plan is highly organized; a person’s daily routine is discussed in this plan, and drug detox, counseling, support groups, and other therapies are also part of this treatment plan. People can go back to their homes to be with their families at the end of each day. The duration of one-day rehabilitation programs can be different according to every person’s condition. Normally, within a few weeks, people complete their one-day treatment program and continue living their normal and healthy lives. Some people with severe alcoholism may require more time to gain self-confidence in their battle against alcohol.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment: In intensive outpatient treatment, people who are addicted to alcohol can benefit from partial hospitalization; they have to stay at a rehab center for 9 to 20 hours of treatment per week. Intensive outpatient treatment normally contains individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions. Education and information about addiction and deterioration avoidance plans are also included in this treatment strategy. Groups for Ongoing Support The ongoing support program is the last plan of outpatient treatment for alcohol. In this treatment plan, people tolerate their addicted condition, and all people discuss their successes and struggles throughout the duration of treatment. Many people meet in a group once or twice a week for one or two hours, according to the preferences of the participants. Advantages of Outpatient Alcohol Rehab: Outpatient alcohol rehab treatment plans have many benefits. Outpatient programs have gained more popularity in recent decades. Some of the most common advantages of outpatient alcohol rehab treatment are the following: It provides work-life balance, as keeping a healthy balance between work, home, and recovery is important for a healthy life. People can focus on their priorities and have fewer disturbances in their daily lives. Outpatient alcohol rehab is normally less costly than inpatient alcohol rehab. People have the chance to put what they have learned into practice in their daily routine. People who are undergoing outpatient alcohol treatment can attend family and friend counseling sessions. Cost of Outpatient Rehab for Alcohol: Many factors affect how much Outpatient Rehab for Alcohol costs. Your cost will be finalized according to a number of factors, such as where you live, the course type you select, and whatever insurance you may have. Programs for inpatient treatment can be more costly than those for outpatient care. Conclusion Overall, an outpatient alcohol rehab center can be the best option to get rid of alcohol addiction. Addicted people get liability, education, counseling, and support in outpatient alcohol rehab centers as their journey towards recovery gets started. But it will obviously work when the proper components are used in the right setting with the right people who are ready to change.

Im sorry for what I'm about to ask, but I have a weakness for assholes in suits.. nsfw JR hcs?
ANON I FEEL YOU <3 DONT EVEN BE SORRY
a TOUCH of angst <3 but mostly just nsft goodness!! MINORS PISS OFF!!
SO SO SO SO HES A KINKY MF RIGHT??
AHEM
According to metro.co.uk, a pay pig is defined as * adjusts glasses*
a submissive person (generally speaking a man) who gets sexual gratification from being financially exploited. ... Sometimes it goes alongside other types of humiliation, with the added frisson of paying the person who is inflicting it.
SO WE HAVE PROOF THAT THIS MAN WANTS TO BE DOMINATED <3 IM GONNA RUN WITH THAT INTO THE SUN OK?
Listen he might put up the Big, Powerful Corporate Bigwig routine but in private? nah he's the most obedient little lap dog
(a scene where he pretends he’s paying you for sex? Being held hostage for money? <3 that’s his type of jam. huge lover of BDSM in general!)
Humiliate him!! Degrade him!! Insult his cowardice, his appearance (his cock especially <3), how pathetic he is for bowing down to you so easily <3
Massaging you, kissing up your legs and grinding on them - he craves things that make him feel shameful <3
he just gets,, this perfectly dazed look in his eyes. Pure calm <3
the punishment and fear is always controlled - he doesn’t need to worry about being in danger when you two are together <3
he doesn’t mind getting bruises on his knees - kneeling is his favorite position to be. Looking up at you?? seeing you confident and in control is very soothing for him.
-
COCK TIME
It’s like a fucking?? switch flips?? when he’s the one in control??
Like sure he’s an arrogant asshole most of the time but this is another level of asshole.
You’re definitely gonna have some crescent-shaped scars on your hips from how hard he’s grabbing you smdnsd
and just?? saying the most vile shit tbh? he will most definitely degrade you <3
he’s panting like his heart is gonna give out (which it probably is bc he’s old as fuck-) and keeping you pinned to the best of his ability <3
LISTEN He is under the constant stress of possibly being Scooped up and punted like a football into Shadow Prison X so,,, he needs some serious avenues for chilling the fuck out smdns and,,
railing you to high heaven is one of those avenues
Afterwards though? depends on how close you two are
if this is just a hookup, he’s definitely a lot more clinical. Maybe a kiss on the cheek, gets dressed, and leaves (well, with a bit of money on your kitchen counter, for your trouble)
if you two are actually in a relationship? He just holds you. Not a lot of talking - he gets very quiet and contemplative? maybe worrying about what the council would do to you if he was removed from the picture? you’ll never quite know </3
Some soft kisses on your neck, rubbing his hands down your back. He doesn’t offer you anything, because he expects you to know that whatevers his is yours at this point.
Also, he’s a total hedonist! he wants, wants, wants! he’s greedy for the things that make him feel good <3 which means he’s especially greedy for you. If you visit him at the office don’t be surprised when you’re bent over his desk lmao.
- ALSO I JUST REALIZED AFTER WRITING THIS THAT YOU DIDNT SPECIFY X READER IM SO SORRY SO
IN TERMS OF MISC HEADCANONS, I’ve already referenced a few of em but like,,
he pretends to be dominant but he’s the most submissive man alive lmao smdsd he just wants to have a place where he doesn’t need to worry yk?
honestly he’d probably love to be pegged/anal in general - lots of very intense sensations.
Not even slightly afraid of being loud lmao. Very vocal in general, lots of little comments.
His eyes get pinpoint. One of the only times ppl can see how bright his eyes are, bc usually they’re pretty blown out and dark!!
Finishing his day with some whiskey, cigars and jacking off? <3 that shit saps the stress out of his bones.
i am gay for him
I am going to kiss JR on his stupidly large forehead <3
#JR inside job#anybody who simps for characters the fandom doesnt really focus on (gigi/glenn/robotus/JR) YOU GET A COOKIE S<DNSMD#COME BOTHER ME WHENEVER I ALSO WANNA SMOOCH THESE MFS#jr x reader#inside job x reader#nsft#minors dni#'you cant be hrny for ALL the inside job characters!' Can u please be nicer on ao3? Maybe you should try answering people's comments
when i read the first line i was honestly flabbergasted and wracking my brain trying to figure out when in the world i wasn't nice on ao3 ever. because i honestly truly try to be nice to everyone always, even when i'm angry or frustrated or people are going after those i love and want to protect. if there was a time i WASN'T nice on ao3, i wondered if it was maybe because my comment had been misunderstood or someone saw me razzing an author i'm good friends with and they didn't get that we are close and i said what i did with so much love and appreciation, you know? like what??? did i do???
but then i read your second line. and please forgive me if i come off as rude in my response to this, because honestly i'm in a pretty bad spot mentally and emotionally in general right now, but PARTICULARLY today, and this ask triggered an anxiety response in me. so. i'm trying really hard to word this in a way to educate without being condescending or mean, but i might not succeed.
firstly, thank you for your comments i'm assuming you've left. i'm also assuming they were nice comments, in which case extra thanks. i'm sure i'll send you effusive responses on ao3 when the time comes.
secondly, please understand that sending an ask like this, on anonymous no less, is incredibly entitled. writing is not my profession, i receive no compensation for my works that i post for free online, and as a part of that it is not required of me to respond. i do my very best to reply to every comment i receive, but it is not always in a timely manner, because i have other priorities in my life. all of which leads us to my third point, which is:
writers do not owe you a reply to your comments. end of. there are no other qualifications or quantifying modifiers to be added to the statement. is it nice to be acknowledged and know your comment was seen? sure. but do they OWE you one? hell no.
in fact, i'd like to offer you a suggestion. a way of tweaking your thinking about the comments you leave on fics. instead of looking at comments you leave as being something that deserves a reply from the author, think of your comments as your way of paying the author for the gift of their time and talents that they have shared with you by posting their fic. that's how i think of the comments i leave for authors. i'm giving them my thanks for the words they've shared! i want to help THEM feel as amazing as they have made ME feel when i read their fic. in fact, my hope isn't necessarily a response from them, but instead my hope is THE GIFT OF THEM SHARING MORE FIC WITH ME. i'm a selfish bitch in that way and i always want all the fic to read. i never want that well to go dry. one way i can ensure that doesn't happen is by supporting authors and being kind to them and spreading all the love and excitement i can about their writing in the hopes that my words will inspire them to share more.
because whether they reply or not, i GUARANTEE they are seeing your comments. i PROMISE they are. and for all you know, your comment might be the one that keeps them writing even when their words aren't coming easily or when they are tempted to give up.
but, again, please remember that no matter what, these authors (including me) don't actually owe you anything.
the rest of this is going under a cut, because honestly my reply is already far too long and i have a LOT more to say now that you've gotten me started.
now, all of this in mind, i'll explain to you why i'm not great with keeping up with comments made on my fics the last couple of years. i don't owe you this explanation any more than i owe you a response to your comments, and i'm honestly not sure you deserve this explanation either, but i'll still offer it anyway. it'll help me feel better knowing i at least put this out there, whether you care or not, mainly because if i don't do that it will cause me greater anxiety having you possibly think i am not responding to people because i feel all high and mighty or that i think i'm better than the comments or whatever the fuck kind of motivation you're attributing to me to see my lack of a response as something "not nice" towards the commenters.
i'm not sure if you've noticed, but i put out a lot of fic. like a lot. a lot of words and shit. i love writing, it's often my therapy and a way for me to help keep my anxiety and depression and ptsd at bay.
now, more personal shit for you, i've got three kids ages 9 and under. the oldest has adhd which we have yet to find a med for that helps to the extent she needs without side effects that aren't healthy for her to continue with, she also has anxiety, AND she's extremely gifted and starting a new program at a new school, all in the midst of a pandemic. and all of those situations exacerbate her anxiety! huzzah! she's also dealing with the beginning of her tween growing up shit, which is great fun because it means where she used to be pretty damn understanding of her younger brother, she is finding it much more difficult to. because the second oldest? he's autistic with some pretty significant gross motor, speech, and socialization delays that have only been exacerbated because of the previously mentioned pandemic. PLUS he transitioned from his special needs preschool to a fully integrated elementary school for kindergarten last year and then had to deal with all the ups and downs of the switch from e-learning to hybrid to all in schooling when everything in him screams for a normal schedule he can rely on to keep his own anxieties and fears and struggles at their minimum. and that youngest child? he was born in january of last year. he STILL barely leaves the house and has only met other children in close range a couple of times because, once again, pandemic!
add onto all of this my own mental health issues, the fact that my husband ALSO battles major clinical depression, adhd, and anxiety, AND we live with my parents who have their own health issues, both mental and physical. i run the home for our house of seven. i keep this place functioning, fed, clothed, clean, and everywhere we need to be for all of our five million appointments every. fucking. day. there is a REASON i've been borderline burnt out for the last fucking year and a half.
now, for fun, i have fandom shit. i love it here, even if it is a dumpster fire on the best of days, and getting to be a part of the writing community is so very lovely. i adore it. honestly, it's because of those friendships i've built with other writers that i have been able to keep writing and have found just how helpful it can be for my mental health. but i'm REALLY. INCREDIBLY. BUSY. i hardly have time to get on tumblr for just a quick swipe through my dash most days. i put off asks so long i forget i have them. i don't have the mental and emotional capacity to talk to people on here or interact fully a lot of the time. but i do my best to do so and be kind while i'm at it even when i don't want to be.
then, on top of that? i also run fic fests like @wordplayfics and help friends run their own. because not only am i a writer, i'm a reader. i LOVE fic. fic has saved me soooooo many times over the past seven years that i've been here. i want to do what i can to support other writers the best way i can, which is to provide a space for them to create their works that welcomes and helps promote them, but also by doing my monthly fic lists and pocast highlighting what i've been able to read, reblogging their fic posts, and then commenting and kudosing their fics too.
sometimes i get really fucking down on myself because i'm so behind on replying to comments, but my brain is very much a "if you start this, you have to finish it" kind of a brain, and i feel even WORSE sometimes if i reply to comments on some fics and not all of them. but i do my best and reply when i can. i was actually really fucking proud of myself because i had a couple days to myself in june, and i spent hours replying to comments on 20 of my fics. when you have almost 150 fics (i think? i don't even know how many fics i've posted by now), that is only scratching the surface. but i tried and i was so so happy i did that many fics at once. it's exhausting, though, and takes a lot of spoons for me to reply to them in mass like that plus time consuming. so i tried to be happy with those 20 fics and the comments i responded to there and told myself that when i ha a moment to breathe, i'd go and work on replying to some more.
but see, that again causes anxiety and guilt. because i haven't replied to all of them. and that anxiety and guilt can cause me to put it off further OR to put off important things like feeding my children or getting sleep in order to finish it, so i have to make myself put things into perspective and ensure i'm doing the important things, like taking care of myself and my family, first.
and then, i have a moment where i CAN go ahead and reply to comments... but i also have MANY fics that are on deadline and i actually have a schedule. a SCHEDULE. for when i'm going to focus on which fics. i can spell it out for you if you really want. i made it back in APRIL to make sure i didn't sign up for too many fic fests because there are so many going on right now that i want to participate in, but i know i can't do all of them so i had to pick and choose. and when you are SO overscheduled and busy that back in APRIL you had to figure out what fics you would focus on at what time to ensure you got everything written when you wanted to through THE END OF THE YEAR, more choices have to be made.
for example. my writing time and time for myself came down to only one evening a week for ALL fandom things i'm doing and a part of right now once the kids were out of school for the summer. it quickly became apparent that for my own self care i needed more time, so i worked with my husband to find two other days i could carve out at least 30-60 minutes to myself to write every week. and i did. but if i'm already only getting that much time and have committed to those fics and fests and things that you're running etc, you have to choose am i going to use this time to try to squeeze in some comment replies? or am i going to write? and i choose to write. simple as that.
so yeah. see it as selfish if you want. see it as mean. you can honestly see it as whatever the fuck you want, but for me? i know that as soon as i possibly can and i can breathe freely for once and not feel like i am constantly drowning in my day to day life and am doing pretty well when it comes to my fic deadlines and getting started on those christmas cards i'm once again going to be making by hand for everyone on tumblr who chooses to sign up for one this year out of the KINDNESS of my heart and the love i really do feel for so many of you, then i promise i'll be on ao3 catching up and commenting. my friends laugh and make fun of me for it sometimes, because they will sometimes get 10-12 replies to their comments in a single day. they know that's how i work. i WILL reply to every single comment i get, no matter how old it is. but for the love of all that is holy, do NOT add to the anxiety and guilt i already feel over it. the only place that will get you is the ask/comment getting deleted if it's a good day, a fucking long rant like this one if it's not, and a block if it's a REALLY bad day.
if you're asking me to be nice on ao3, then i ask in return that you also be nice by not demanding things of people that they are not in any way obligated to give.
#long post#rant#i almost deleted this#but you sent it on just the right day and instead i let loose#this is unedited and unbetaed lmao but ENJOY#or don't#whatever#writing stuff#i should tag it#writing SHIT#but that's not really a tag i keep cause who wants to keep track of the negatives#not me

BNHA Fusion (LOV/Deku)
shigideku
oh boy
both have been deeply wronged by society
unstable but also instantly aware that they’re more compatible than either is comfortable with
insane, muttering, constantly arguing with them-self
black curls that’s longer the deku’s hair normally is. scarred so badly. but decent skin. eye bags, big green eyes. Mikumo vibes
twitchy hands, will scratch anywhere, plays with lip, constantly writing. hands are never still
wears one fingered gloved so he doesn’t decay everything constantly
a genius, master of planning and deconstruction. take the moral limiters of izuku and he could end any hero quirkless
has a level of morality but it’s hard to define. totally down for crime most of the time, loves fighting, but doesn’t target kids or civilians. has a lot clearer motives than shigaraki did alone
they are gonna take down the government probably
daddy issues x2
laughs like a crazy person, wide scary smile
traumatized, ptsd, anxiety, dissociates, ocd. babe has a lot of mental illnesses
plays video games to calm down
loves homemade food
a loner
paranoid
quirk is just... oof. like a nuke going off basically. so fucking destructive, and you know they know how to use it
hates everyone including them-self
self aware of their situation. recognized that they’re being used and targeted and manipulated. on both ends. Shigi sees how he’s being used by afo, Izu sees how the adults in his life have failed him
honestly kinda baby, they need fucking love
hero students and lov members would put aside differences to help them honestly. the world wouldn’t be okay with it, but their friends are loyal
not quite a villain anymore, but definitely not a hero. constantly has internal conflict over this. like they don’t want to give up on hero dreams times 2 but also recognize how utterly fucked society is and wants to tear it down. they’re so full of hate, but want to maintain hope just out of spite at this point
whatever the hell they’re doing they’re not giving up on it
has the power to reshape society and is going to fucking use it
i don’t need to tell you that they’re fucking terrifying
togodeku
obsessive x2
love heroes x2
long curly green hair worn in twin pony tails,
short, decent sized chest, big red eyes, and a smile that’s too big. fangs. freckles.
muscular but in a compact way
more stable than they should be
loves themselves.
in love with uraraka, but gets crushes on everyone else extremely easily. ura is their forever girl though
loves making and consuming fan content. a fangirl to a scary degree
an all might stan
naturally, also loves k-pop
no fashion sense, they wish they had it, but they don’t. probably just wearing t-shirts and jeans most of the time. is still kinda hot, but isn’t doing anything to play it up
will hunt you for sport
incredibly fast, loves running and chasing in general
bunny themed outfit still
changing into others is one of their passions. izu lowkey loves this quirk. they’re experts at mimicking others. izuku’s analysis skills makes them too good at this
feral x2
honestly just here for the lols
still wants to be a hero, but isn’t doing a good job of it
easily distracted
probably knits for some reason?
makes gifts for friends and crushes
way more dangerous than they’re letting on. too many people are underestimating them
cute as a button
dabideku
daddy issue x2
bitter as hell
black and white hair, curly. darker at the roots.
keeps dabi’s scars. green eyes. tall and muscular, lots of piercings. most of Izuku’s details are lost in the scaring
coffee addict
self centered, has a lot of enemies. including endeavor and bakugou, and every middle school bully.
more empathetic though, can have friends and value them, just don’t piss him off because he will hold lifelong grudges
very good at switching back and forth between scary and threatening to cute and innocent. usually the innocence is mocking but it can read as genuine
a good actor in general, but a terrible liar
quirk is not doing him any favors, still has the feedback, but flaming tentacles gives him more control over the fire itself
reads a lot of comic books
a hypocrite
likes to dramatically point at things while shouting
loves solving mysteries and kinda wants to go down a sherlock holmes or batman route
is not pulling that off, maybe jason todd vibes at best
high key just a dramatic dork that’s too good at murder
chaotic neutral to chaotic good
talks too much
good at pissing people off
kinda deserves to get the shit beaten out of him, and i feel like bakugou can pull it off
twicedeku
neurotic
they love their friends so much though
oblivious as hell
like a genius in observation and knowing stuff, but a dumbass at applying that knowledge
would make a good information broker if they could learn to shut the hell up
are they basically deadpool? kinda.
short green hair, cut close to their head
long face, covered in scars, tallish, looks like an adult
pouts and cries easily
smartass
talks to himself x2 god help us
overpowered with his quirk. god help us
laughs at his own jokes
always hungry
winks at the fourth wall
has many stims and hobbies, hands are litterally never not doing something. he’s the kind of person you’ll glance away from, turn back, and find juggling.
we’re talking cat’s craddle, rubix cubes, instruments, puzzles, tearing up candy wrappers, painting his nails, braiding friendship bracelets. he is never still
directionless. lacks motivation
internalizes criticism really easily, to the point that he gets depressed and struggles to act
indecisive to a clinical degree
probably has and anxiety disorder but refuses to acknowledge it
is pretty fucking baby. protect him
spindeku
lol what a nerd
fanboy x2
cries easily. izuku’s habit of crying does not decrease
ultimate ride or die
still a lizard, mohawk is green instead of pink
mixed feelings on stain
searching for the ultimate person to stan. all might stays in their heart, but they want to be edgier
absolutely uses a sword. not the dumb one that spinner uses but it is still a buster sword that’s too large for them. they’re strong enough to swing it around like nothing, i’m picturing cloud from final fantasy’s sword. again they’re really nerdy
disillusioned with society and heroes. both are marked by discrimination and have recognized the failure of heroes and government. aren’t as bitter but determined to do something
sassy but not quite sarcastic
gives really good advice. the friend you go to to have an emotional breakdown
considering pursuing psychology more for this reason. realizes he can use the skill to help a lot of people
isn’t willing to give up fighting or using his sword though. he has an aesthetic
would get along fantastically with tokoyami
also the friend that feeds you. can’t cook very well but always has something on him to give you when he notices you haven’t eaten in a long time.
loves bubble tea
social anxiety, if it weren’t for the fact that he already had friends and a mission, he probably wouldn’t leave the house
surprisingly close to shigaraki, enough of a gamer to play with him, and even gets away with calling him out
(i’m debating how comfortable i am with fusing kids with adults. it seems weird to me, especially the bigger the age difference)
(masterlist)

Creepypasta "Shackles" Au Character Headcannons
Ticci Toby
Soooooo I know a lot of ppl like having toby in stories and a lot don't and all in all I don't care. I don't know the full thingy with toby not being a creepypasta anymore or whatever his creator said but I do enjoy writing about him and being that I have tics myself all I hope is that I don't offend people. So I'm like rewriting his entire character in all of my stories. Sooo here ya go!
Name: Toby/Tobias Rogers
Physical Desc: I kinda already like Toby orig design but I'll switch it a little. He is only half an inch shorter than Brian. Around 5'10. He does still have a scar on the side of his mouth but it's not like part of his mouth shows its like.. a scar? Like he keeps chewing on it in habit and keeps reopening it. I think of it as a scar where he was demasked and hurt by a victim when they fought back before he killed them. Like a glass cut. Took awhile for it to heal and stitches were a no no. He is quite lanky since yknow hes 19 years old in this. Hes pale but also tan. Toned with muscles you'd expect from wielding an axe but more lanky and skinny. I like the thought of his nails being painted too. His face does have some yknow sleep deprivation obvious on it. Pretty weary but hes always on high alert. He has some obvious PTSD of course. I'm not changing his eyes or hair. He does seem boney in some places though.
Attire: So in all honesty I'm not changing his original attire. I just like it to much. But he does have leather fingerless gloves for his axe. A specific belt that holds his axes. Tennis or those orange like boots. Not changing his mask or goggles.
Weapon: So instead of a wielding axe I give him a short handled woodsman axe. It's a better grip, more sharply and an easy detail in training, with a blunt side that nice enough to knock out a victim. He has between one or two of them.
Extra/personality: Despite his age he does have a childish side. No not that toxic shit, I see him as bipolar and he uses that childish side of him as a coping mechanism. (Like me, I use a child like voice to cope.) But despite that he's way more smarter than he cuts out to be. Doesn't mind doin pranks or two or just irritating and fucking with the other residents but in truth he analyzes them. Like a list. A tolerance to a fuck you list. Of course Sally is an exception despite her annoyance from time to time. (Shes a golden girl okay) Masky of course is at the top of the list. He pokes and prods at maskys obvious anger issues. But only to fight back from the names Tim calls him and the obvious dick like tone he always has. He honestly wouldn't mind if he were dead. Brian is honestly chill to him. A bit creepy at times, especially with the camera, but other than that pretty chill. He can easily be tempered. As I said I headcanon him Bipolar. But hes never sure of what to feel when it comes to the guarddog. He just seems blank. (Until further on in the story) He's intrigued but also annoyed. He does know that the guarddog isn't as pretentious or dick like like masky. He is aware that the guarddog cares about the residents more than what they say. He's been in that predicament. He is curious about their gender but does respect them. Especially with how at dinner when the others boast about their kills and the "fun" they have with specific victims. So he honestly doesn't blame them.
Backstory: I'm not changing it and I'm sorry I just really hate changing backstories.
Referring to when he was in that predicament Toby was injured by one of the many unspecified creatures in the woods that surrounds the mansion after a kill and he was already exhausted and ended up passing out on his way. Luckily for him it was near end for their curfew. The last thing he saw was that familiar yet unspoken gas mask. He woke up in the clinic his wounds already patched and got a small but stern talk from Ej. After that he went looking for them but couldn't find them. He decided to leave it be for now.
