The worst take I’ve seen about tumblr ‘rules’ for refugees is “if you only like stuff, people will think you are rude”

Like ??? Who tf would think it’s rude to like posts? Are you dumb? Sure, reblogs are nice and depending on the posts it helps them more, but who in their sane mind will think it’s rude to like posts. Who? Like ffs don’t tell people how to use their blog

I’d prefer someone who only likes my posts than someone who reblogs 1000x posts a minute and only because they feel obliged to do so. Like let people use their brains and decide what they want on their blogs, don’t make them feel guilty for fucking liking a post.

The fact there aren't more single dad Steve fics is surprising to me. And I don't mean like, those Steddie fics where Steve is a parent to one of the Party or st. I mean like, Steve is proudly a bit of a slut and sometimes condoms break. Why are there not more fics of like 20-22yo Steve getting suddenly saddled with a child that he didn't know existed, while everyone freaks out around him about it.

Steve wanted kids yes, but in some nebulous future and now there is a tiny person with his hair and his moles that is chewing on the collar of his shirt. He is very much not ready for this responsibility but also like, he's pretty sure that specific weird clean baby smell is curing his depression. He barely sleeps anyway this is fine, this is fine.

Robin is torn between freaking out, giving him shit, making fun of him, and spoiling the shit out of this baby because this baby is part Steve!! This baby is made from her very favorite person!!! Obviously this is going to be her favorite baby! She is extremely entranced by how tiny every baby item is too. Tiny socks, tiny hats, tiny shoes! Robin is Steve's rock and also is the one most excited to help him with said baby.

Several members of the Party literally have younger siblings and yet not a single one of them know what to do with a baby. They are staring at this tiny creature that is part??? Steve??? Like it is an alien from another planet. They are getting close to being adults and have fought monsters but the first time the baby cries while they are supposed to be watching it at least one of them nearly cries too. Dustin does the 80s equivalent of overdiagnosing via WebMB instead with medical and parenting books from the library. He always think there is something wrong every time the baby coughs. Steve appreciates how enthusiastic he is about making sure the baby is okay, but does not appreciate the extra stress.

I just think we're missing out on prime fic fodder material which is that accidents happens and I want everyone to be losing their minds because somehow trying to keep an infant alive is scarier to them than fighting monsters.

One of the revlogs that was in a simmilar tone to the original had two pieces of advice i adsume kept awY from each other in the list i assume to avoid the cognitive dissonance. It said to not trust anyone and avoid strangers and then it said to make sure to take of ut mental health - suggesting keeping a diary. The evidence for not trusting people was that they once had their stuff stolen. Which like ok the reason that is so devastating is cause when ur homeless ur stuff is all you have but surely the advice should be "recognise how intensely vulnerable you are and how easily you can be deeply hurt, recognise how much power you can give people over you doing things you previously took for granted" that doesnt mean you dont have to trust people as much as u did before? Trust is just gunna look different

It is presently 4 30 in the morning and I need to lay out everything my brain has churned through before I inevitably have more important thongs to do tomorrow. This post was a joke drawing that did not even feature or mention anya, so, unless you pulled some major fucking reaching up your ass for nonexistent subtext from that, your idea that my interests about this game lie in any significant way within the realm of shipping the characters. I will say this now, I think anya and curly could have an interesting dynamic in a romantic sense but it's really the least of the things I would want to analyze when it comes to mouthwashing. There is a mountain of other symbolism andninformation I would rather spend my time considering.

Now that I've made it clear that my singular original post regarding this game almost certainly did not lead you to the conclusion you made, I want you to step forward and tell me what did. No trick, no foul play, I am actually just fully enamored with the gymnastics that had to place you squarely within my askbox to send that message.

To my knowledge, I have reblogged a single post that could be read in a sense that I'm interested in the ship you claim I am. The issue with this is that reblogs don't show up in the tags. This leaves us with only a few options.

One, you were scrolling my blog after seeing the single original mouthwashing post I have after seeing it in the tags.

Two, the tumblr algorithm put the one revlogged post that could be read as romantic on your dashboard, shown as reblogged from me off of the original poster. Then, after you saw this, you decided to go for the person who reblogged the post rather than its original poster? Which by the way if I found you DO go harrass tge original poster somehow im going to track you down and hit you with a flathead shovel.
