why are 16 year old girls allowed to get breast implants (super easily too. no years of therapy required. no requirements really) and it's not a problem for transphobes, but an adult trans person can't get top surgery without being called "a confused little girl mutilating their body" and why are 16 year old girls allowed surgery for implants but transmasc 16 year olds can't get even a reduction without everyone freaking out? I knew several girls in high school bragging how they got their parents to pay for their implants for their 16th bdays. but a trans guy I knew just over 18 who was just trying to get a reduction (not even full top surgery yet, but reduction for pain issues) was denied because he's trans and "too young/might regret it" what the heck.
