answering messages in a few but as i'm doing a lil thing i've been thinking way too heavily about oz again so if anyone wanted to join in on my au wizard of oz concept and wanted to bring me any of these amazing characters as an affiliate like this and i'll message you to spill all the details.

FINLEY — the awkward shapeshifter companion to the king. he was once cursed by theodora , making him a flying monkey who serves oz as his right hand. casted with charlie cox.

THEODORA THROPP — oz's long since forgotten ex. the two were destined to marry long before the two were even born , but the marriage was cut short due to oz's affair with glinda. the witch was devastated and has had a vendetta ever since , more so regarding her lost place upon the throne of oz more than anything else. casted with sarah shahi.

EVANORA THROPP — sister to theodora , evanora has sat as the trusted adviser to the throne of oz for decades , that is until oscar relived her of her duties upon dumping her sister , leaving the thropp sisters to harbor a shared distaste for the king. casted with mozhan marnó.

OZMA DIGGS — oscar's beloved twin sister and the princess of the emerald city. ozma is oz's most trusted confidant and the most devout member of his team toward his cause. casted with either sophia bush or morena baccarin.

DOROTHY GALE — oscar's estranged daughter in which he has lacked any sort of contact with over several decades as she was raised by her aunt and uncle in the land without magic after the passing of her mother , that is until oscar sends the natural disaster which brings her to oz. casted with madelyn cline.

ANNIE GALE — would be prevalent in flashbacks , being oscar's past lover from the land without magic , whom he met during his time within a traveling circus in which their love affair spawned their daughter , dorothy. casted with katheryn winnick.

LUCREZIA DIGGS — also only prevalent in flashbacks , oscar and ozma's mother. the most powerful witch known to oz at the time and a force to be reckoned with. casted with monica bellucci.

ZOROASTER DIGGS — again , only prevalent in flashbacks. the father to oscar and ozma and a tyrannical ruler of oz. he was the root cause of the civil unrest in oz which brought the great war that ultimately lead to the untimely demise of he and his wife. casted with sylvester stallone.

i went on a rant about this in my mello post but i think that if naomi knew about his childhood then she would actually sympathize with him a lot more rather than talking about how he should kill himself for half of her entire internal dialogue

Tanis is my sorcerer that I made for a curse of strahd campaign! Hes a shadow sorcerer so unexpectedly he is having Such a connection to barovia and he has no idea why, really ... He doesn't recognize his magic for what it is, he just kind of woke up after what he thinks was a near death experience with magic! A few other side effects of dying are that he doesn't blink very often, he's very very cold all the time, and he has a newfound fear of water . He doesn't know that he died, and he very much does not know how or why he was brought back (and I don't either) .

All of this aside he has been doing his very best to live a normal life (pre-barovia), starting his own jewelry business selling his own work and playing piano at a local tavern for some extra coin since his business is very much struggling. He meets his wife there, she sings in the evenings and they would often duet. They both just kind of chill out for years and years :) yay

Then, Tanis' parents fall ill... They're both elderly and can't take care of themselves like this, so Tanis closes shop and goes to be their caretaker! ... Only he runs out of money pretty quickly. His sister, who was off at an apprenticeship, returns home to care for them while Tanis tries to start working again . He tries mercenary work but he's too much of a coward to do that, so he's stuck doing odd jobs where he can, still playing piano to make ends meet.

Then one night he has a dream, a woman tells him to meet at a tavern a days journey away, and he will find great riches that way. He thinks about it, and eventually decides to give it a try.

He goes, and meets a few adventurers who also had a similar dream, and they decide to go together, despite Tanis' cowardice, on an adventure.

... They end up in barovia with no way out .

He's a level 9 sorcerer now so he's been there for a while still with no clear way out . The campaign kind of died so as far as I'm concerned tanis has been trapped in barovia for the past few years, but I'm hoping to revive it in a few months and maybe we'll finally get a resolution for him :) he's found more than enough riches on his journey so once he gets home he's set for life

Thoughts on the whole Blair and Jack thing?

hi!! I meant to answer this after I finished the s3 chair outfits sorry 😭😭 so my simple answer is that I kinda hate it sksfjsk but I'll explain why so to start with I always found the fact that blair slept with jack during s2 so out of character. I get that she was meant to be upset that chuck left (and drunk??) but by that point blair's only slept with 2 people and I just can't imagine her finding comfort in sleeping with chuck's older uncle as a teenage girl. even in a grief infused state where maybe she thought it would be like sleeping with chuck I just don't think, based on her character, she would do it. ik she kisses random older guys like in 1x05 so even if they said she'd kissed jack and immediately regretted it I could believe that more, but the idea that she then had sex with him doesn't make sense to me. I understand that, at it's core, it was a decision for the drama, to create conflict between chuck and blair and also be able to come back later on in s3. but from a character perspective it's... icky. I do feel like the hotel incident in s3 allowed it to have slightly more depth, as it was clear chuck had never quite gotten over it as much as he said (him watching blair and jack in 3x15 suggests that he still feels there's something lingering between them which is why he's so distraught at the thought of them sleeping together again) and it became clear that it was part of the whole trust issue they both needed to work on. ultimately though I think it was a plot point that was mostly for shock and drama value bc that's the kind of show gg is (think the convenient shard of glass cutting blair's cheek or bart coming back) but there wasn't really any thought for what it meant for blair as a character to me bc it doesn't really fit with her personality or be something she would even entertain the possibility of, let alone do

GOOD LORD. this ask has been in my mind ever since it was sent and I genuinely could not get a good idea for how he should look like. like . fr

like honestly he's still at a concept stage but I am liking the first image more than my original thoughts for him shown below (plus some more doodles of me trying to figure out his design)

I do like the idea of the staff that he has can also become into a huge scythe (because that is cool fight me.!!! and also kinda references the pickaxe sorta thing that ishida holds in the splash art he officially has)

some ishida notes (mostly for myself to remember):

- ishida's halo looking thing becomes very VERY similar to how Mondo's is, with the light shining out on the sides and showing a more prominent halo but still keeping the little stars he normally has around his head

-his staff becomes a scythe bc I think that is cool and sexy /j but fr it becomes like. A mix of both their staffs,, maybe the combination thing I mentioned once but we'll see

-his expressions are way more intense than they normally are (which says a lot since taka is normally intense)

AND LIKE. I'm still thinking as to what he technically should be since solar eclipses happen every 18 months. And then there's the concept of lunar eclipses too. Like OUGH there's so much to think about and to work with i'm absolutely going to continue thinking about this au for a good while

💡. A game that inspired me?? Lots. Not a ton of TTRPGs, though. Big ones for me in life Darkest Dungeon, Bethesda Fallout games, The Elder Scrolls, FromSoftware's souls-like games, Chrono Trigger and JRPGs, and many more. Each of those games have little gems of wonderful game design perspectives that culminate into, what I see as, what I think are games that translate the feel of a video game onto the board, but with the same magic of creativity in it still. It's hard to explain, but those are some of my favs!

✨, A game I wish more people were talking about. Hm. From my own repertoire, I wish Jerma fans would play my Jermaverse TTRPG. It's so fun!!! Also, Tales from the Aerosphere is just a step up in quality from Neon Nights, so I wish people who wanted a more steampunk atmosphere played that game.

For otter creators, I think more people should play GURPS system games or just.... any indie game dev game that you can tell has SOUL in it. If you can feel the magic of the game, get it, and support indie devs. I basically provide my games for free, so even just a little love shown through a comment or a review means the world to us.

HI HI I LOVE U. okay so i'll be talking abt my Robots ocs !! (theyre not all robots, thats just the name i use for the universe(?) theyre in !!)

Ok so the first ones i made was ROS-4 (Rosa, 'pink' in portuguese) and 4-ZUL (Azul or Zul, 'blue' in portuguese)

Rosa(left) is a demigirl (she/it (lol)) robot !! Shes a type -4 robot which means the bigger type, usually used for strengh needed activitities !!!! Shes like 2 meters tall or smthing.

Zul (right)is agender-boy (he/she) and a type 4 robot, which are the tinyest types !! Usually made to be babysitters or preschool teachers (Zul's case) because the shorter they are (zuls 1,60 something meters) the safer kids feel with them etc etc

Theyre romantically dating !!!!

ok so lets talk abt the two important humans from the Robots

Lara(left) (she/they) is a robot programmer and mechanic !!!! She has a store where she fixes robots and sells parts etc !! Rosa works at her store sometimes helping her !! Her names Lara cus laras moms favorite fruit were oranges (which in portuguese are called LARAnjas) (she didnt tell lara the reason) funnily enough orange (also laranja in portuguese) is laras favorite color lol

Morte (means 'Death' in portuguese) or Mor is a trans woman (she/her) human !! She has a preschool (dont know the word for that in eng sorry) and Zul works for her there !!!!

She and Lara are dating <33

If I wanted to get into Carrie for the first time, would you recommend the book or the movie (are there multiple movies?)

There are multiple movies yes! There's the original 1976 movie, the sequel (I haven't watched that one yet, but it's on my bucket list!), the 2002 remake, and the 2013 remake!

Personally, my favorite of the bunch is the 1976 movie, but it hasn't really...aged well in terms of how it treats the high school aged girls (the entire opening scene shows them all naked in the locker room and it's just...ugh) However, its still a classic and my favorite iteration of Carrie's character!

The book, however, is kinda a tricky one. While it is a very short read (only around 200 pages!) I personally can't get over how Stephen King describes, again, high school aged girls. Also there's a n-word bomb in there that never felt right with me. However there are some aspects of the book that I so wish existed in any of the movies.

As I'm writing this, I'm thinking if none of those sit right with you, and believe me no judgment here, your best bet may be the 2013 remake? It's a good movie but compared to the other Carrie media it's kind of weak, but it's not a total waste of time! I just wish it did stuff better but that's neither here nor there.

There's also the option of listening to the musical which I will ALWAYS recommend! But you don't really have to, it's SOOOOO good though.

That kinda turned into a ramble, but it is my special interest lol. If you want the TL:DR: I'd recommend the 1976 movie first, just be warned of how it treats its female characters, same thing with the book.

OK so they initially 1st met each other when they both got hired @ the same time by mr maellard 2 work @ the park. ironically, they were both different but yet so similar in many ways so i think that is what brought them 2gether? they were both really REALLY young - lovejoy was fresh from an another town 8 hours away& out of college w her degree in accounting, benson w a new job after being replaced by his band&other crap. i like 2 think they did not like each other much @ first - benson was still in his emo(metalhead) era so joan tthought of herself as ‘superior’ over him bcuz not only she had a degree, she looked more mature compared 2 some ex metal band member. ben thought she was a stuck up. both had 2 learn how 2 work 2gether bcuz maellard would scold them 4 acting like children&the park was on the line. obviously that got taken care of though lol

sometimes when writing a story i love to sink into setting enough to make it its own character (i LOVE doing this hhh) but w atrad it was a little tricky bc i didnt wanna distract from the plot. so in the end it ended up being kinda nondescript. natsume's apartment, the convenience store, and the house were more vital than the city or country itself.

but yeah. its in japan (kinda). where in japan? god knows. ive also never been to japan (yet) so i didnt explore too much for that reason too. i did some minimal research whenever id ask myself "is [insert thing i wrote] a custom in japan?" or "instead of hot dogs or nachos what do japanese convenience stores offer?" but bc i wanted to focus on the cult as id imagined it i didnt rly flesh out the japan part of it as much. i think i mentioned "japan" a few times, but if that didnt rly sink in or stand out, thats okay. it wasnt rly supposed to.
