trying so hard not to be overly optimistic for the general election after the local elections 😵😵😵
#if the election is in october or later like people are predicting then itll be my first time voting as well!!#my mum and i were talking about how amazing itd be for my first time voting to coincide with a labour win similar to 97#my politics teacher has mentioned that she isnt massively optimistic (she wonders if there'll be a coalition)#so im trying to keep my hopes down bc i trust her thoughts on this#but stilllll..... the local elections are making me SO hopeful#uk politics
