How does your ocs celebrate Halloween? Do they attend parties, decorate the house, or avoid it altogether?

When they’re not doing a horror movie marathon, Red and Deniz both go treat-or-treating every year! And Violet joins now, too. Are people in their twenties already way too old for that? Probably! But I‘m weaponizing thrice the setting of a fantasy world, the personality of the characters, and my lack of knowledge about this particular aspect of US-culture to make it work :3

Mage already decorated his shop/home right on time for the beginning of spooky month (50% seasonal marketing, 50% genuine excitement) and goes on a party on Halloween itself (or just the town square, it’s as full as a festival on Halloween anyways)

The postman currently still nicknamed Yel usually plans to sit at home and for kids to ring the bell. But his fantasy forest ranger side keeps screaming at him that a lot of kids are probably gonna be in the spooky woods near his home rn to search for a supposed ghost that only appears on Halloween, with glowing eyes and tall limbs stalking the forest in search of little children.

So he can’t sit still anymore, grabs his coat and a light, and goes out into the woods to make sure any kids that wander into them don’t get lost or hurt. This happens every year for a few years now.

The poor guy is still utterly oblivious to just who that ghost exactly is.
