saw someone say weekes said they didn't want to write cis people anymore. they're evasive about taash's pronouns. promo avoids pronouns for them but also switches between she and they sporadically. taash is barely shown in the midst of gamergate-y backlash surrounding the game's promo. don't know how i feel about any of this.

#tbh i dont vibe with any of weekes' characters/writing so im more interested than anything. especially given how deeply #uncomfortable krem makes me... iirc weekes wasnt out then and it WAS a decade ago / they probably didn't have full #creative control. but idk!#im just very uncomfortable with the teasing about it! unless it's an in-game twist/spoiler i don't enjoy acting like trans identity is #some big secret that we cant have prominent in promo... most generous read i can give is theyre trying to protect the #va from the gamergate freaks...#if taash DOES use she/her and is a trans woman i am going to kill people btw
