@justbeenthinking ​ has some really good thoughts on roberto’s management style that i can think they can add here. 

however my thoughts on ‘ All of them demand respect through intimidation, be it by yelling (Armando), threats (Marcela) or humiliation (Daniel).’---these are the children of nepotism. even tho armando is the most human of them, and is a much better boss compared to marcela or daniel (cuartel prefers armando over daniel, it’s stated early on)--all three of them feel entitled to respect just bc of who they are. the idea of deserving something bc you earned it is lost upon them. it’s a lesson that armando learns gradually, but the other two fail at it. 

After humiliating her, she still expects loyalty from Betty💀

 they all try to pitch in and give sally a good and safe life despite everything. theyre all her big brothers/sisters!

 honestly she’s probably the safest little kid in the world no lie. 9 older murder siblings and slenderman as her dad? yeah no ones gonna mess with her LOL

  She doesnt really kill anyone, but they do try to train her in a little self defense, at least what they can teach her with her being a little kid. Everyone gives a hand in this but jeff and jane do it the most and sometimes clash on whether she should become a killer like everyone else. jane wants to keep it solely on a last-resort basis but jeff thinks she’d be great at it. “perfect height to get someone good in the stomach” apparently 

  Honestly i kind of see Sally as maybe being kind of a difficult or not always 100% sweet child, she’s usually fine but she does get angry and lash out or throw a tantrum at times. she’s still very hurt and trying to recover in her own ways but everyone still supports and comforts her no matter what

  she’s pretty rough and tumble!!! She wishes there were some other kids around to rough house with a little but she can usually get that out of jeff, ben, or clockwork. they all go very easy on her obviously xD but still put up a good enough fight to get her energy out, and sometimes let her win

 Everyones not exactly good or bad at it, but they all contribute to making sure she’s happy and healthy in their own ways. Theres something about having a child around that still has some innocence to preserve that makes them all a little bit emotional…They all love her very much and no matter what she decides to do they want her to be happy.

Name: Benjamin Tarken Nicknames: Ben, Benny (doesn’t like this nickname but his parents use it all the time) Stand: Fall out Boy Age: 16 Height: 5′7 Hair Colour: Mustard/Blonde Eye Colour: Blue (although he argues they’re more of a teal hue)

Benjamin is one of Kakyoin’s many students and is quite the character both inside and outside of his classes. He’s most often found either sleeping where he shouldn’t be (some of these places being stairwells, in classes, on slopes, on desks, in the staff room, on other people etc.) or trying to get an assignment finished before its deadline. He doesn’t have any qualms showing his stand to others and that can get him into all heaps of trouble if he’s not careful enough, but he at least has a good enough sense to tell whether someone has good intentions or not. Whilst to most adults he’s seen as immature he’s protective over the younger people in his classes and can hardly turn down any opportunity for him to help them out when they’re in trouble. His stand Fall out Boy often gets attached to people it likes, and more often than not follows around other people when it’s out rather than its own user.

Rocky is a living breathing tease - he never passes down a chance to pull a prank on others (preferably teachers or his classmates) and more often than not he uses his stand to cause mischief (Kakyoin was unfortunate enough to find this out during his initial week) but he has good intentions for the most part even if his pranks or plans tend to backfire on him. He has a love for musicals and is an avid member of the after school drama department, whether he’s behind the scenes or part of the main cast he adores the stage.

Joka is rather dense and oblivious, she doesnt recongnize a serious moments, they make her feel akward. Though She can be responsible, shes the big sister type, she cares deeply about the people around her. The only serious moments she has is when she knows there is no way to get out of this situation then being serious. She's very emotional and unstable, dont get me wrong she is a tough girl, she resorts to voilence quicker then logic, but when someone betrays her or insults her she deeply cares about she can get a bit over emotional, angry or just plain out heart broken.

He gets annoyed by the smallest things and is not afraid to give his opinion. He has a rather gloomy demeanor which has a lot of impact on his relationships, sometimes he may come of as very confident but its his way of hidding his more self concious side. Behind his sarcastic and mean remakrs he has his moments where hes a genuen nice guy, he may not come over like that at times but at times when he knows he is needed he will take a step back and show his good side... tho he'll deny it when asked about it.

By only talking a glance at him you can tell he's a stylish dude, colorful with a skater attitude. He may come off as a radical rebel teen but he's actually a giant ball of sunshine. He's very oblivious so things around him and tries to keep a happy demeanor to everything. Comedy is one of his best qualities, if there is one person you can call the meme king its him.

Rosalie is the youngest sister of Dio Brando’s mother - they lived in fairly wealthy settings however when Dio’s mother became pregnant with Dario Brando’s child their father refused to accept the child as part of the family and as a result outcasted her. Rosalie was left trying to get back into contact with her sister, however once she had finally managed it was years later and her sister had already long passed. Rosalie knew that Dio was the only living reminder of her sister so once Dario had died she opted to take him in herself, unwittingly screwing up Dio’s plans to the Joestar fortune and as a result he tried to get rid of her during their first few months together - unfortunately for him she’s a tough cookie to crack.

we find out that vi doesnt wanna go back to the hive. and when vi is forced to go back for the mission, she tells kabbu and leif that hive 'didnt really do anything to her' and she actually yelled at everyone and run away.

and so leif and kabbu are like. oh wow suddenly reminded ur a whole entire child.

but then you have that little cutscene in the hive where leif encourages vi to talk to the people she cares about. he does call her petty and that shes acting like a child (but he a. doesnt know what the argument was about and b. didnt tell her to aplogize, just to talk about it)

and kabbu is like, ur sisters! of course if you go in there with good intentions and to talk about the issue everything will be fine!

and then you go through chapter 3 and learn that everyone fucking told vi she was stupid, weak, etc. NO ONE believed in her. didnt even humor her. not even a "oh of course you can, you can be anything you want" kind of bullshit.

this includes all her acquaintances, her boss, her sister, and presumably the queen. (i believe theres a throw away line that she also told off the queen lol)

but then jaune Will Not Give Vi Any Space to Talk. At All. jaune is presumably and adult, and her teenager sister RAN AWAY bc of this argument. like yes she sees vi is fine, but instead of asking for an apology or anything, she just REFUSES TO TALK TO HER.

THE ONLY PERSON VI WAS CLOSE TO HER ENTIRE LIFE, REJECTS HER BC VI THREW A TANTRUM.

vi is literally a teenager. teenagers tend to get into big arguments over what is dumb stuff to an adult, but incredibly important to teens. teenage to adult communication is often rife with emotions and misunderstandings.

vi had this huge argument with everyone bc no one was listening to her. at all. they just shut her down completely. of course she's eventually going to blow up. and even that didnt work. instead of listening or trying to calm vi down, jaune at least, argued back.

and so vi ran away. and ive said this before, but children dont run away for no reason. its often a last resort to be heard or escape.

and presumably, no one came for her.

Vi ran away and nobody came looking for her.

She pops up at the hive and everyone is like "oh hey ur back heard u actually became an explorer wild. didnt think you had in you."

there is no "WHERE WERE U WHAT THE FUCK GOOD TO HEAR UR OKAY WE WERE SO WORRIED WE LOOKED FOR U"

can u imagine the toll that took on her? no wonder shes so aggressive and defensive! her whole life no one listened to her and then she ran away, and nobody cared. no one tried to bring her home. as far as vi is concerned, the hive doesn't like her and doesn't want her. and she thinks its her fault

at least, she does by chapter 3. but vi was right, she wasnt in the wrong, she was acting out yes. but she was desperate for any kind of approval of her authentic self.

but yeah, vi didnt like, ruin her art or supplies (which as her living, would be understandable if jaune was still fucking pissed), but all she did was some weak ass insults.

and god, not to mention how uncomfortable vi is in the presence of bianca!!!! she talks to elizant and and even calls her eliza at some point. but refuses to speak to bianca until spoken to!!!

anyway long story short every time i think critically about vi's arc and the hive i get So Mad.

shout out to kabbu and leif for supporting her on her journey to make up with her sister. i hope after they made up, leif and kabbu gave jaune the fucking lecture of the century for treating vi like that after they found out what the argument was actually about

I was wondering what about vi sister? I think it’s the concept that didn’t explore that all.

i mean, jaune did introduce us to a lot about hive society and how colony relationships work in bugaria.

we learn that although all bees are sisters biologically, actually calling someone your sister has meaning.

it also shows that most bees consider each other strangers and or acquaintances for the most part.

plus, vi's only close relation in an entire kingdom, is one single bee. which shows us that vi has a Really Difficult time socializing, not only with her peers, but her entire species.

other than like, narrative and world building purposes, i kind of agree with you.

Jaune's baby sister just, calls her some names and then fucking disappears for an unknown amount of time. presumably at least a month, possibly up to a year. and yet when vi comes back, jaune isn't concerned about her safety... just fukcing mad that she? called her art bad?

but like. ignoring that.

vi's quest for her sister is just... they got into a petty argument, and vi's presumably adult sister, would not even give vi the time of the day, even when she's trying to apologize.

so vi's quest is about getting really rare paint to show her sister that she's trying to apologise, and then jaune shows her that she still loves her and missed her cause she has that painting and they hug.

and... thats it?

i dont remember of jaune ever apologizes. idk, i think another little scene after, or little blurbs where dialogue changes after each chapter and you can like "tell her about ur adventures" or something to round it out a bit, and make the relationship a lil less flat yknow?
