Yes stories are about character's confronting one another however the confrontation wasn't some "Uniting against a common enemy" fight. And more like it was character's going of on there own moral values and how a lot of these values clashes with one another. Sometime they agree on things other times they clash with one another. However the show was never going into a direction where they all unite to fight a common enemy.
To say it was always going to end that is far from the truth. It was in the direction of all of these characters. We don't even get the"Uniting against a common enemy" as the main focus of the show until EP.8 while the first seven episodes were (more or less) character focused.
Silco and Jayce's deal wasn't built on "Noxian" invaders it was built on Jayce wanting to reach after he saw how his own violent actions led to a child getting killed. Yes he talked about "the threats of the rune-wars" and how it "brought the city together". However its not a form of "Foreshadowing" its a means of saying this city is built on "Progress" and that they should reach out for peace. I remember what happened. I also remember that the peace Silco wasn't some easy thing and in turn was only going to lead to more conflict. Also its just "one scene". And we get no other scene like this before the "Final fight" that indicates the cities will unite against a common foe.
Vi's comment about "Oil and Water" its only referring to her Caitlyn. Yes there is a lot of class implications towards it however the implication alone didn't mean that it foreshadowed Piltover and Zaun 'Unite against a common foe". Because every-time two characters work together its through the means of a common "Interpersonal goal". Vi and Caitlyn they both had different goals "Caitlyn" wanted to figure out what happened during the progress day attack meanwhile "Vi" wanted to go in and find her sister and get back at Silco. And as the story went on they gradually built a on bond. Viktor and Jayce worked together to use Hex-tech to help people, although they had various different ideas of "how" to use Hex-tech. Vi and Jinx unite to get Warwick, while at the same time salvaging there broken relationship. And that's not something that can be replicated with "Two cities" because that's too large scale to unite through "Interpersonal goals" (More on that later).
Also yes I'm aware of "What could've been" its a sad moment and something more beautiful and poignant then what the Season 2 finale ever was. However It's also important to note that the peace wasn't perfect and Silco had a lot of second thoughts on trying to go through with it. And that the council also were very much against this whole deal. And that's the tragedy of "What could've been" its a dead deal, Piltover and Zaun aren't able to reunite and there will be long term fractures. Similar to how Jinx cut ties with Vi and that there is no going back to there family. That is what S1 sets up, that there is no going back.
Now the show didn't have to end with Piltover and Zaun holding hands and making peace immediately however having the characters come against a common enemy is such a cheap way to end the show. It means that the conflict doesn't resolve by having all that what happened between Piltover and Zaun being acknowledge or addressed. So while yes the epilogue "Alludes to" the work needing to be done. However the politics stop being relevant after episode 4 and then suddenly in episode 8 we have this "Big world ending threat" that just has the character's put aside there differences. And that's just not compelling.
And this is something that the writers acknowledge as un-engaging. Here's a statement from Christian Linke.
"Many writers talk about being "character driven" without actually writing character driven stories. If you ask your hero whether or not they well help save the world from an alien invasion, the answer always is "yes duh". Thus the character doesn't REALLY have a decision to make. The sole question that remains is "HOW are they gonna overcome their obstacles?"--which is entertaining, but it really doesn't drive the story forward with full autonomy. I think Alex and I gravitate towards stories that leave characters with or even impossible choices."
Here's another quote from Amanda Overton.
"I think of this in terms of what a character hopes and fears. You have to know what these are (and make sure the audience knows too) and them to tug a character towards impossible decisions. I also think you have to be able to relate to these hopes and fears. As Christian mentioned, the fear of dying in an alien invasion isn't relatable. Neither is the hope of winning a civil war (for most people), what made Silco's quest for Zaun's freedom relatable is that it was rooted in the his hope that he could win back his brother Vander's resect. And without his respect, Silco feared he was the "dirty little thing" his station in life always ascribed to him. Fearing you aren't good enough, and craving respect from family are deeply relatable emotions, This is what a "character driven story" means to me.

So this here is why so many people have issue with this finale. It removes all meaningful choice from the two cities and "forces them" to work together. So nothing about this finale of "Two cities uniting against a common enemy" have any of the character's make any meaningful goals in the end and more like their working together out of moral obligation. This has been a huge problem with season 2
It introduces big grand out their things such as grand-time loops, alternate realities/multiverse, the Black Rose,Hive minds ,end of the world stakes all of which takes away from the more grounded interpersonal stakes that were established in the first season. On top of that you can't really juggle all of these plot points in 9 episode season without feeling bloated.
I get the whole "I'm the dirt under your nails" comment and how they are saying "There is still work to be done". However the finale had nothing to do with the "Class conflict", the only "real reference to the cities moving forward is Sevika having a seat on the council." Thats just too brief and is the only reference to the conflict between Piltover and Zaun we get after they were dropped in episode 4. And so it feels less like a meaningful step forward and more like a weak resolution. Yes 'No one wins wars". However this really isn't "A war" its just a copy of"Avenger's age of Ultron" generic and un-engaging.
“What happened to rebel Vi? Season 2 destroyed her character!”
“What happened to rebel Vi” is that Vander took her to the bridge where her parents died in his revolution and asked her what she was willing to lose. Then she meets Cait who is gentle and kind while still being tough and it makes her rethink how she sees topside. When Jinx tells her she changed too, that’s what she’s talking about.
I’m sorry if you thought Vi was going to be a topside-hating revolutionary in Season 2, but that’s clearly not where her character arc was going. Remember how she forced her way between Ekko and Cait? It seemed very straightforward that was the role her character was taking on.
I feel similar about people who act like the show was betraying its premise because it ended with reconciliation/Zaun and Piltover working together. Again, the fact that two of the most important relationships were between characters from both sides and that they made a point of talking about Zaun and Piltover first coming together against a common enemy was a pretty clear indicator that was the plan.
Now, I get being annoyed that that was what they chose to do. You don’t have to love the creative decisions of media, just like media doesn’t have to compromise its creative direction to satisfy you. But not liking that they went that direction is not the same as the show having bad writing or engaging in character assassination.
Everything Vi did in season 2 was very much in character with how she changed and who she became throughout Season 1. Hell, she used enforcers and Hextech to raid Shimmer facilities before Commander Kiramman ever threw on a beret. So, yes, actually wearing the uniform was a huge and complicated decision that she was definitely not happy about, but it also fell in line with what she had been doing.
There’s meat for another post at some point about the three different Zaun/enforcer partnerships we see in the show: Vander/Greyson, Silco/Marcus, and Cait/Vi; but I’m not going to go into that now.
TLDR: “Rebel Vi” who wants to fight all of topside hasn’t existed since the end of the second episode of the show.
Editing to add that Vi doesn’t see attacking Chem Barons as attacking Zaun; she’s taking down the people who are destroying Zaun.

could write an essay on the tragic irony of that scene (where mel is talking to jayce over Viktor who is dismantling jinx’s bomb) but like… in brief??
people are saying she’s being classist or ableist in leaving viktor out of the conversation and while that dimension to the power differential between them is definitely there (and I could write a whole lot on that too!) i just don’t think it’s the main reason why that conversation goes the way it does.
mel doesn’t speak to viktor because she is suggesting the goddamn militarisation of hextech. viktor is a principled scientist.
rewatch the scene closely. mel watches both jayce and viktor at first. while explaining the situation. while Viktor is dismantling the bomb, while giving the council’s opinion. but she stops engaging with viktor as soon as he asks her:
- V : “wait what are you suggesting?”
this is where she stops talking to him. because what she wants is the goddamn militarisation of hextech. to use on the undercity where viktor is from, no less. mel says straight up:
- M: “we should prepare our own countermeasures.”
it is right there. i don’t understand where the ‘manipulation’ conversation is coming in with this scene when she isn’t even attempting to speak around the violent measures she is willing to support. mel is being quite upfront about it. to me this was mel’s most ‘ambessa’ moment. it makes perfect narrative sense that in the episode following this one we meet ambessa and get to see mel’s relationship to martial law and Noxus’ kinds of state sanctioned violence that far exceed the brutality we have seen even piltover direct at zaun.
mel knows she cannot speak to viktor about this because… and i don’t know how many times I can say this… it’s a blunt proposal for the godamn militarisation of hextech.
of course she anticipates viktor’s reaction because she’s intelligent enough to know that his reaction is that of any principled scientist. before anyone can get a word in edgewise we see viktor immediately, vehemently trying to shut the idea down:
- V: “absolutely not. That is not what we created hextech for.”
jayce brings up heimerdinger here too and says he would never do it which is so telling. heimerdinger was a council member, yes, but he is first and foremost a scientist who adheres to science’s ethics and academic rigour (albeit to a pedantic degree because he has no real concept of human life spans).
in this scene viktor is rightfully much more pissed off at jayce. that he even considers the proposal is a testament to just how much more absorbed in mel’s world of state politics he has become as opposed to viktor’s one of science. after mel has left viktor scoffs and says:
- “Ridiculous. You cannot be considering this.[…] We’re scientists. Not soldiers. We agreed hextech is to improve lives not take them.”
a large part of what is so tragic about the machine herald storyline is that these tables have entirely turned. of the many, many mel and viktor parallels i think it’s often overlooked that it’s mel who becomes increasingly opposed to endorsing war and militarisation, ultimately killing her own mother, the symbolic figurehead of both, while it’s viktor who ends up creating the very thing he was insulted to even think of with hextech. an army that can’t die… used by ambessa no less.
#tldr: when you want to use science to attack the undercity maybe don’t speak to the anti weapon scientist from said undercity#how many times can a person say goddamn militarisation of hextech#jayvik#meljayvik#arcane analysis#the parallels go crazy I love this show#promethean themes in arcane go crazy

Even though I loved the writing of LoL Jayvik I really appreciate that Arcane is going for a different approach so far, makes things feel less predictable! Instead of ideological differences driving the divide between them it is more so that they are just... out of sync so far?? I mean, during last season Viktor even before his diagnosis was eagerly meddling with the Hexcore with little regard to safety, then straight up went for the illicit and damaging drug to facilitate the transformation process, then when he ran out of that drug he proceeded to try using Hexcore without it (when he already TESTED that on plants and should have known it would backfire) which killed Sky... At which point he went oh shit, ok, I should stop meddling with this thing and just die peacefully maybe. It's not very clear how much of that he told Jayce aside from making him promise to destroy the Hexcore, but Jayce's surprised reaction in s2 when hearing about Sky makes me think it wasn't much at all...? So Jayce doesn't feel as much of an asshole for, once again, going against Viktor's explicit wishes. He pretty much never has the full picture before being forced to make a decision! Idk it makes him very sympathetic to me ngl, just feeling more and more guilt but continuing to fuck up due to lack of knowledge and experience, is that not relatable? And aside from being entirely unprepared for Viktor's death even after s1 I think it's like Jinx says in this Act too, it was something he could fix for once... Perhaps this is why he agrees to the use of Hextech weapons, too, feeling like it's the only thing he can do to 'help' the people he cares about and protect himself too (I guess killing just 1 defenseless child wasn't enough of a learning moment for him lmao). Despite again, this going very much against Viktor's wishes (and Mel's!! we didn't get her with Jayce after this but I imagine she's not very happy with him either... Viktor&Mel team up when). This time Jayce is the one just going for it and hoping for the best despite knowing very little of how it works. I also love how a lot of us in the fandom and also Singed in the series assumed Jayce would be appalled by Viktor's experiments but instead... he immediately goes even further :D And when Viktor wakes up and goes bye Jayce is like ?? but then by the end of the next episode he starts to realise that ohh alright so maybe yeah they should have stopped... Who'd have thunk. I'm not super up to date with League lore but is it really that difficult to find a sane mage for consultation purposes? ...Also I really doubt that hitting that thing (wild rune?) with his hextech-powered hammer was a good move lmao and yet even in this it seems similar to what Viktor is currently doing. Both continue to use the arcane to try and fix things, Jayce through violence and Viktor through transmutation, but it kind of seems like the same kind of mistake. (they are just pretty bad scientists and always have been and i love that for them lmao)
#arcane spoilers#arcane s2 spoilers#jayvik#jayce arcane#viktor arcane#and i do love how it's jayce making the call to turn viktor into a magical being#sure it robs viktor of his autonomy but#that makes sense for a disabled character in a bitter way i think#and im sure viktor will take a lot of that agency back now that he's starting a cult#and jayce can swim in his ocean of guilt for this foreverrr#text#long post#arcane

I keep seeing posts about people saying that the only reason Christian Linke called Viktor ace was in a sloppy, homophobic attempt to try and get people to stop shipping Jayvik. And like, yes, 1000% I agree with that statement.
But I haven't actually seen a lot of people explain why this argument is stupid from an asexual perspective, so let me be your queer older sister and let you in on a couple ace secrets:
Sexual and romantic attraction are not always the same. This is known as the split-attraction model, and it's one of the reasons why talking about sexuality can be so difficult sometimes. Sometimes, the people you are romantically interested in do not always coincide with the people you are sexually attracted to.
This might be why some people are bisexual, but they only ever date people of a certain gender (obviously there's many factors that go into who we date and why but let's live in a hypothetical world for a moment where you could instantly date or have sex with whoever you want).
To some people, this distinction is very important! For a majority of the population, their romantic and sexual interests overlap. If a man tells you he's gay, it's safe to assume is he only attracted to other men, both romantically and sexually. In fact, having split attraction is so rare that most of us don't think of it as a possibility! That being said, some people will refer to themselves as homoromantic bisexual (will only date members of the same gender, but are sexually attracted to multiple genders), or heterosexual homoromantic (only want to date members of the opposite gender, but are sexually attracted to only the same gender), or whatever else!!! Human sexuality is weird and fluid, gender is weird and fluid, and if the split-attraction model makes the most sense for you then that's great!
Ok, so what does that have to do with Viktor? Well, in the same way that someone might be homosexual heteroromantic or whatever, some people are asexual romantic-- meaning, they don't feel sexual attraction (asexual), but they still feel romantic attraction.
Of course, some people are aro/ace, meaning they don't experience sexual or romantic attraction at all. Others can be homosexual aromantic, or asexual biromantic, or whatever else!
In Viktor's case, even if he was always meant to be asexual, and that's not just a last-minute addition, he can still experience romantic attraction. That's the beauty of the split-attraction model; asexual people can still date and fall in love, and aromantic people can still seek out and enjoy sex. (Wait until you find out that asexual people can also actively seek out and enjoy sex! Although that's a conversation for another time.)
So yeah. TL;DR, Viktor being ace doesn't actually mean much when it comes to whether or not he's in love with Jayce. Headcannon the characters however you want, it's all valid and cool, but if Christian Linke actually wanted to deter shipping he should have called Viktor aro/ace, not just ace.

JayVik firefighter AU marriage proposal ficlet
I am obsessed with JayVik marriage proposals, so I’m typing this up because I got the idea randomly. Timeline-wise, this would take place after a while, when Jayce and Viktor would finally get their heads out of their asses and confess they can’t be apart from each other.
Jayce had never seen Vander quite as livid as he was at that very moment. He would have felt sorry for the young, recently-married couple that were catching the full force of his yelling, if he had not agreed with his chief.
They had gotten the call from Viktor. Someone had called in that an outdoor wedding was using torches for atmosphere, during the hottest and driest July rural Piltover had ever seen.
“You’re kidding me,” Jayce had said, covering his face in disbelief as he heard Viktor’s voice on the other line. They had been officially together for about two months now, after years upon years of dating and breaking up, but never being quite capable of letting the other go fully.
“I wish I was, lásko. Never underestimate the stupidity of the masses.” Viktor’s voice from the other line still made Jayce’s spine tingle, the loving term of endearment giving him goosebumps. “No fire has started as of yet, but take out one truck to be certain. Maybe you could use to hose to blast some sense into them.”
“Now that would be something. Don’t think I’d ever get the chief’s permission.”
Just as Viktor was about to respond to that, a voice from his side of the call interrupted. Hushed voices spoke, before Viktor became the sole speaker again.
“Change of plans, lásko. One of the torches has caused a fire. You’ll have to take every truck available, in case the fire spreads across the forest.”
Jayce was shocked. It would only have been a matter of time, but he had hoped he would prevent a real fire from happening. He turned as Caitlyn rushed past him to get her equipment. “I have to go, mi vida. Could I ask-“
He was cut off by Viktor. “I’ll pick up Ellie after school, my sweet. Just come home safely.”
Even though Viktor had accepted that Jayce could never give up being a firefighter, he was still sick with worry every time Jayce got called. Jayce knew that, and tried to calm him down as much as possible. Oddly enough, that predominately worked when he was as realistic as possible. Having a real grasp of the situation calmed Viktor down. Supposedly it was because he knew Jayce’s skill level and as such could gauge his probability of survival. He truly was the smartest man Jayce had ever known.
The fire itself had been contained just in time, but not without any dangers. Ekko had become stuck beneath a tree trunk on his way to save a civilian. A grandmother of the bride who could not get to safety in time.
Granted, Ekko had been forbidden by Vander from taking that path. It would be to dangerous and the fire had almost been under control. Ekko had scoffed and disobeyed orders, because he had been thinking for some time now that his chief was deliberately trying to keep him out of harm’s way as a favor to his best friend Benzo, who also happened to be Ekko’s father.
Jayce did not blame Ekko. It was risky, but an elderly lady like that could not have lasted much more. Thankfully, she had survived. Ekko would be fine, too, but he had some nasty burns around his torso. “Battle scars,” he had called them.
Jayce was shaken from his thoughts right as Vander stopped yelling. The couple was distraught, the bride crying her eyes out while the groom was still shaking. He doubted they consciously registered anything Vander was saying.
This one had been a shocking one, Jayce could not lie. It put things into perspective for him. Maybe it was the fact that they had to save a wedding, what should have been the happiest day of the couple’s life. Maybe it was him still living in domestic bliss with Viktor, finally committed to making it work, coparenting Ellie and spending all of their free time together. Maybe it was seeing Ekko under that tree. It was likely a combination of all three. Whatever the case, Jayce was rattled a little. He wanted to go home to his little girl and the man he loved. Kiss them both and tell them he was safe.
His shift was done by the time they returned to the station, so Jayce took a quick shower in the changing rooms. He tried to get clean before going home as often as possible. He knew Ellie would become scared when he was covered in sooth and smelling like fire. She did not fully grasp what it meant that her father was a firefighter and he did not care to bother her with that until she was older.
“What’s gotten into you, Golden Boy?” his sister, Caitlyn, said to him as he got out of the shower, a towel draped across his waist. Changing rooms were not separated by gender, only the showers were. Not that she would have cared if she had seen him naked. Personal boundaries had a been a thing of the past for years, with Caitlyn being a lesbian. Jayce was still bisexual, but he had not once thought of Caitlyn as anything more than a little sister.
“What do you mean?”
“You’ve been quiet. You’re the most high energy guy I know. When you grow quiet like this, somethings’s wrong. And chances are, it’s about Viktor.”
Jayce chuckled. “Not just him, also Ellie. It all felt like too close a call. What if I had been where Ekko was? It’s all put things in perspective.”
“Put what in perspective?”
“I think… I want Viktor to formally adopt Ellie. And I think I want to marry him.” Saying those things out loud, only confirmed his feelings. He wanted nothing more desperately.
“Marry him? Jayce, I think you might be losing your mind. You’ve been dating for like two months!”
“Two months since our last break-up. Viktor and I have been together basically since we were 16. Even when we were apart, there was an invisible string holding us together. I want this. Maybe he does too?” In truth, Jayce had been entertaining the idea for a while now, but after the rough call they had just returned from, he was convinced he needed to talk to Viktor as soon as possible.
Caitlyn smiled. As annoyed as she usually was when he complained to her about Viktor, she ultimately was still rooting for them. They were perfect together, horrible apart. Jayce went to prison arguably because he was so heartbroken after Viktor left him that he stopped valuing his own life. He hardly ever stopped smiling when they were with each other, talked about him constantly.
Jayce knew he was ready for this.
As he drove his pick-up into his driveway, the door opened and his Ellie ran outside.
“Papa!” she screamed as she rushed into Jayce’s arms, her black hair in cute pigtails that bounced around as much as she did. His baby girl was truly a ball of energy.
“Mija! Am I happy to see you! Did you have fun with Viktor?”
“Yes! Papa Viktor took me out for ice cream!” Ellie calling his Viktor her papa gave Jayce a warm, fuzzy feeling. He had been as much almost all her life, which is why Jayce wanted to ask him to adopt her in the first place.
Jayce carried her in his arms as he entered his house, being greeted by Viktor in one of his shirts on top of his own casual slacks. He was holding a mug of tea, ever the lover of hot drinks even in this heat.
“Thank you, mi vida,” he greeted his love, kissing him softly.
Viktor only smiled. She’s been a dream, like always. Welcome home, lásko. I’m glad you are safe.”
Jayce was as well. He breathed in deeply. Time to do this. Jayce put his daughter on the ground and told her to go play. “Me and papa Viktor have to talk about something important.”
Viktor raised an eyebrow as he handed Jayce a mug of tea of his own. They sat on the couch. “Am I in trouble?”
Jayce was suddenly very nervous. “N-No! But maybe… I am?”
Viktor leaned forward, a faint glimmer of nerves in his eyes. Viktor was good at keeping his facial expression neutral, but Jayce could read him like no other. He wanted Viktor to not be nervous, so he decided to just come out and ask.
“I… I love you. And Ellie does, too. You love her, and you love me. I hope.” He chuckled, but continued when Viktor only chuckled nervously. “I wanted to ask you if you would… maybe be open to formally adopting Ellie?”
He kept fidgeting nervously, but looked Viktor in the eyes as he posed his question, eager to hear his response. Viktor’s mouth hung open. He put his and Jayce’s mug on the table in front of them and turned to fully face him.
“Jayce… I would be…” He turned his face away to wipe away what looked like a tear. “Well, I suppose ‘honored’ is too small a word. I love your daughter, Jayce. It would mean the world to me if she could officially become my daughter as well.”
Jayce, releasing a breath he did not realize he was holding in relief, lunged forward and enveloped Viktor in a hug. “I love you, mi vida. Thank you!”
Viktor kissed his temple, before pulling back. “But only if Ellie wants this as well. I know she is only five, but she deserves to get a say in this.”
Jayce grinned. “Of course, but I doubt she’ll disagree.”
They called her and asked her to sit with them. She climbed onto the couch and promptly put herself in between them. “What is it, papa?”
“Well, Viktor and I have been talking. We were wondering how you would feel about Viktor maybe becoming your papa as well?”
Ellie looked at them confused. “What do you mean?”
Viktor chuckled. “Well, you know I am not your father by blood. But your daddy and I were thinking that maybe we could go to the mayor and ask him if he could make a new law that says I get to be your father as well. Would you like that?”
Jayce smiled. Viktor was so incredibly good with Ellie. He was still a realist, still tended to be serious. But the way his voice softened when he spoke to her, never unkindly, warmed Jayce’s heart. Even the clunky way he tried to make difficult topics digestible for a child caused his love to spread all throughout his chest.
Ellie, for her part, was still confused. “But you already are my papa, right? You have always loved me just like daddy! Even when you and daddy were no longer in love!”
Viktor chuckled. “There is your answer, then. Let’s get this arranged as soon as possible. Thank you, Jayce. I cannot put into words how much this means to me.” Warmth radiated from his eyes. He seemed truly happy.
“But daddy, does that mean you’ll marry papa Viktor?”
Viktor, who had reached to grab his mug of tea, choked on his drink. Jayce wanted to laugh at her question, but the fact that he had actually been thinking the same thing - and worrying about Viktor’s response - caused him to only chuckle politely.
“Well, mija… That was actually going to be my next question to your papa.” He looked up and locked eyes with Viktor, who had turned a deep crimson.
“Excuse me?”
“Well…” Jayce started. “I don’t have a ring yet. But I had a rough day at work today and it made me think about some stuff. I have been an idiot, V. For years and years, not daring to commit to you. Scared of what would happen if I didn’t come home. But now that we’re finally together, I don’t ever want want to let you go. You’re my world, Viktor. And hers, too. I know we’ve only officially dated for two months now, but it feels as if we’ve been together since high school. I’m ready for this, V. I can only hope that you are, too.”
Viktor tended to pride himself on his ability to keep his composure at all times, but Jayce could see the shock in his eyes, surprise clear on his face. “It boggles the mind how you think. No ring, nothing prepared. And here I thought romance was dead.”
Jayce blushed. “I know, I know. I’m going to do things properly after I get a ring. But I wanted to know first if you were open to the idea.” He stood up, a wave of confidence deciding his next step.
He went down on one knee in front of Viktor, smiling at the way Ellie giggled. She had no idea what was happening, but she knew it was important. He took Viktor’s hand in his. “Viktor, will you please marry me?”
Viktor shook his head, chuckling to himself. “You are impossible, Talis. Yes, of course I’ll marry you.”
Jayce, once again feeling an overwhelming sense of relief, jumped up and enveloped his love in a tight hug. “Thank you, thank you, thank you, mi vida!”
They kissed each other fondly, eyes shut as they both relished in the feeling of just having gotten engaged.
Ellie made a gagging sound. “Daddies, stop, that’s gross!”
They both laughed as they pulled her into their hug. She giggled as they showered her with kisses.
“Mija, it turns out papa Viktor and I are going to be married.”
This made the little girl jump, screeching in joy. “My papas are going to he husbands!”
As she jumped up and down on the couch, Viktor trying his best to try and catch her if she were to fall. Jayce leaned back. The exhaustion he had felt after his day at work had been completely washed away.
When he looked at his family. His unique, loving, family. He could not help but smile.
Once he had gotten his head out of his ass, Jayce had become the happiest man alive.
He could not wait to see what the future was going to have in store for them.

I am IN LOVE with this acc, especially the anti-jayvik tag.
I never liked the ship, it could be because I like Viktor but also because I never understood how it made sense. This acc and the tag showed me that there are a lot of people who agree and actually make good points that others should listen.
Like they didn’t have any romantic chemistry in the show. I am a frequent mlm shipper, but I also like to understand how the ship makes sense, and throughout watching Arcane, I didn’t see any of that. They do have moments, but it was any close friend/family member could do.
We can see that Jayce worries over Viktor (whether health or reassurance) and also prioritizes him a lot (makes sure he’s included and seen), Viktor supports Jayce’s ideas (Hextech and the advancements) and beliefs and does lend him an ear.
Men can be vulnerable to each other and not be gay. I loved the finale, especially Jayce’s speech to Viktor about his disabilities, it showed that despite his plan to defeat Viktor and stop his actions, he also put thought into how.
That was sweet. But people like to view it as a confession almost, I’m not saying that any romantic tension between two men should be ignored and seen as ‘just friends’, jayvik had no romantic tension.
I’m not trying to downplay on the ship, I can see why it’s popular and it can be explored in fanon. But there are also realities in the ship, they didn’t show anything more than a brotherly/friendly bond (Jayce has called Viktor ‘brother’) and didn’t have any scenes that could be played as romantic (many like to use the scene where they both die together, but that’s all they have)

To Fix A Broken Heart (Viktor x Orianna)
A collection of ideas for VictOri based on a Beauty and the Beast AU. Viktor has Orianna staying in his compound in return for her father’s safety. He wants to get the secrets of how she came to be… she just wants to get out. Slowly, their talks become less about science, and more about… emotions.
~
(The Soup scene) Their first genuine conversation, where both parties are actually listening to the other, is about food. Oreanna missing it. Viktor badmouthing the experience, inconsequential, a waste of time and resources, and Oreanna just sadly looks at something she used to love and shares her melancholy at the memories of biting into it. Or slurping. It could be soup. The warmth and comfort it gave her as a kid. Her sad tone is enough to make Viktor stop his points and really reflect about his own history with food. After a while, he breaks the silence and shares a memory. His mother would feed him soup too, when he was sickly. He… loved her recipe. Orianna smiles and touches his arm. He huffs and moves away.
~
(Echoing the Snowball Fight) There is a scene where Viktor tries showing off something he can do with his augmentations, shooting something maybe, and he looks so smug about it. Goes on a speech about his impeccable calibrations, as Oreanna shushes him and tells him, 'Watch me.’ She does it much better.
… Now it becomes a competition neither wants to let the other win. The shooting grounds is now in disarray, and it ends with both looking disheveled. Orianna laughs first at Viktor's appearance, and though he'd usually take offense to something like that, he finds himself laughing too. A nice childish moment.
This is the first time Orianna has been able to laugh. Genuinely, from emotion, not as a response she forces for someone in a conversation. She’s surprised and shares this with Viktor, and Viktor can’t help feel special and begin to overheat.
~
Jayce catches wind about Orianna being in Viktor’s possession. This can’t be good. The thought of her helping Viktor's research makes him feel like there’s a timer on stopping him once and for all, before he becomes too much. He visits Ekko, and informs him about the possible danger. Tells him that Viktor has a weapon now that can ensure his work progresses quicker. And to drive it home, he can say that Ekko should care because his people would, naturally, be the first to go. It puts Ekko in a difficult position… where he has to agree to keep an eye out on Viktor’s compound. He helps Jayce with spying.
~
Maybe Ekko later on runs into Orianna while she was alone in Viktor's area. She’s friendly and open with him, so Ekko tries to figure out what was really going on. As he hears her situation, he then tries convincing her to leave Viktor with him. She says she can't, but doesn’t explain why. She thinks she’s making a connection with Viktor. She… wants to see what it’s leading to. Ekko takes it as more confirmation of her being in a hostage situation. When he reports this to Jayce, he feels the same. If Orianna can’t leave, they’ll force her out of there. They have a plan that will temporarily cut Viktor’s power supply enough to have his troops come in and ‘clean’ the place.
~
The power in Viktor’s compound has been nullified with a disruptive pulse. It’s one thing that his machines are now useless, but with how strong it was, Orianna is in jeopardy. Her power source now off, her consciousness turns off and she 'faints.’ Viktor was far from her, dealing with what he thought was all the intruders. Trying to keep them from reaching her room. But there was Ekko’s group coming from the back, ready to pick her up as he’s distracted. She is kidnapped.
She’s brought to Jayce's lab for questioning and for his own exploration of how she works. He’s crueler with her, truly seeing her as nothing but a machine. Orianna fights back at every opportunity, recognizing him as dangerous, if not more so, than Viktor. It’s enough to buy Viktor time to realize what’s occurred and go to save her, guns blazing, self sacrificial. No time for plans, no time for calculations, his ideal logical mind is gone and he is full of rage.
He makes it to her room, but he’s extremely weakened.
It’s a stalemate, where Jayce has Orianna in his hands and Viktor has him in his sights. Jayce tells Viktor he still has forces on Viktor's property. A second wave that swarmed as soon as he left. Without him there, they can easily destroy everything. His life's work once and for all. He tells him to go, they can call it off as a truce since Jayce doesn’t want to die.
But Viktor isn’t going without her. He tells him so, and that- is too scary for Jayce to agree to. He’s now seen what Orianna is for himself. A true marvel of science. She can’t fall to his hands. Jayce insists on Viktor learning his place, renewed anger and fear making him hold Orianna closer, to press his gun right to Orianna’s heart.
Viktor is shaking with anger. He really wants to shoot him. To end it. But Orianna is wide eyed, looking at him, anticipating his next moves and he doesn’t want to do this in front of her. To show her the extent of his inhumanity. To give her more to hate about him. So, he lets down his weapons and begs for Orianna to be let go. They can take his inventions. They can take him. Let. Her. Go.
Orianna quakes. She’s filled with love for the man Viktor has become. He’s changed, he cares. They lock eyes. They know.
He loves her.
But cocky, stupid Jayce’s laugh stops the lover’s thoughts. And he shoots Viktor instead.
An earlier version of Viktor could have dodged. Deflected. But he was weak. Distracted. His systems only caught on to the bullet’s trajectory when it was too close. It hit him in his exposed chest. He crumples to the floor.
He has a human heart.
The thought makes Orianna’s mind whir faster.
He has a human human heart. The bullet hit him in his heart. His heart!
Orianna’s body gains new strength. She moves like finely-tuned machinery as she crunches Jayce’s arm like it was nothing. Jayce screams and lets her go.
She smoothly moves to Viktor’s body, kneeling and holding him. She can’t feel anything. Her mind is analytical, taking in his wound, searching for solutions. Jayce has recuperated. He fires at her, but she easily shields herself. She picks up Viktor and moves to the exit. Jayce attempts to block her, but again, he is quickly dealt with by a swing of her arm. She has no room for emotions or for morals as she deals with the people in her way. They only distract her from her goal.
To fix Viktor.

Ahhh this is great meta, thank you both for writing! I 100% agree with everything you both said. Hope you don't mind me quickly adding just a few words on how I saw things on a slightly more abstract level. The power of the hexcore and its influence over Viktor is obviously extending, and I think there's 4 main phases, with 3 of them corresponding to the 3 arcs of season 2, and all of them also hinge on Jayce in one way or another:
Step 1: When Viktor wakes up, the Hexcore's influence over him is immediately there, but he's still also himself to quite a high degree. He gets to tell Jayce that he should have destroyed the Hexcore, that the Hexcore killed Sky. This is clearly not the Hexcore speaking, this is Viktor speaking, and to me, his 'affection'-line shows that at this point the Hexcore mostly mutes Viktor's emotions (I read it as the Hexcore wanting to stop Viktor from even saying that, hence also the little pause before, because it knows that it needs to get rid of Viktor's affection for Jayce in order to achieve its goals). It also both wants Viktor removed from Jayce, who ties him to his emotions, his love, and wants him in the undercity asap, where it can start consuming people without anyone objecting (the absolutely brutal politics of Arcane, of course no ones cares about the Shimmer addicts), hence the Sky-illusion, like you said using Viktor's guilt to propel him where it wants him.
Step 2: The commune. Maybe 50%/50% Viktor/Hexcore, probably a bit more Hexcore already. Like you both showed so well, this is Viktor ensnared, it's him seduced, it's the Hexcore using Viktor's deepest desires for its own ends, but Viktor's in there and just doesn't know. Inner Viktor at that point very much feels like Viktor, and him promising to heal Vander is him 100%, like you pointed out, the Hexcore doesn't want that, but Viktor's a person to want to help others to the point of self-effacement. Very interesting too that yes, at that point it seems Viktor can still do things that aren't in line with the Hexcore's ends, because he does in fact 'free' Vander, he doesn't just consume him. Also the whole pacifist thing, no weapons and all - perfect, because that's Viktor in his truest form, and at the same time of course the Hexcore wanting to protect itself and not wanting to rouse suspicions and start resistance. Extreeemelyyyy tragic phase. Ends when Jayce kills Viktor, therefore severing him further from his humanity - his love, the person he still trusts, even after Jayce merged him with the Hexcore against his will, acts cruelly, apparently irrationally. Viktor becomes more receptive to the Hexcore's ideology: clearly emotions are a problem.
Step 3: Act III, ep 8, Viktor very clearly out of character, the pacifist behaving violently, but still wants to convince Jayce to join him. Also still very tragic - what does Viktor do the moment he has the chance to create a 'perfect' body for himself? He imitates Mel with his perfect white-and-gold robot body. But when Jayce rejects even that supposedly perfect form, when he destroys it with violence, Viktor becomes small, desperate, lying on the 'floor' of the astral plane, curling in on himself. There's still some Viktor there, his deep insecurities, his self-hatred, his love for Jayce.
Step 4: We know that one - Jayce's conversion failed, the Hexcore takes over, it has Viktor pretty much 100% under its thrall, Sky disappears because no manipulation is needed anymore. How little of Viktor is left is most clearly shown through the "choice is false"-line - a direct juxtaposition to what the real Viktor says in one of his really important moments in s1, "there is always a choice".
Very interesting point with the 'senseless waste'-line being less distorted than the others. In general, I think each iteration of the Hexcore probably merges with a person that also dictates the precise form its goals take and the arguments it uses to justify them. So in that sense, even Machine Herald-Viktor has those little sparks of Viktor in there. And then I love the point about Viktor only able to overcome the Hexcore's influence after he fully has the power of the anomaly/the Arcane at his disposal. And of course it's Jayce again, who gets his big heroic moment not through any violent antics, but through being reduced to a non-physical form and expressing his emotions, showing vulnerability, expressing his love for Viktor. Ahhh anyways, I love this story.
I’m curious, how much control do you think Viktor was in in season 2?
I have tried to analyze this but am honestly stumped. Because on one hand it is clearly his intentions and logic being used. Since the beginning he has been wanting to heal people afflicted in Zaun (while it was also to cure his illness I don’t doubt wanting to help those in need was a legitimate motivation). He does immediately go to heal people in Zaun and all the conclusions he jumps to through the season do seem perfectly reasonable for him. He was the type of person who didn’t even conceptualize in season one that something like the hexclaw could be used as a weapon. That and the hexcore showing that he was a pacifist to the point of it being a massive blind spot to danger. So it makes sense being shot by Jayce of all people while in his eyes he was healing people would cause him to go all glorious evolution mode as a natural progression of his arc.
On the other hand he definitely didn’t come back right. The show makes a point to show in season one that the hexcore has some level of physical control over him, and even when going to heal the shimmer addicts he is following Sky’s voice. The writers also confirmed that it indeed was not Sky and was the hexcore manifesting his guilt to push him towards to glorious evolution. And his emotions definitely seem to be muffled and unexpressive. I know this part is joked about a lot but honestly even the fact that he chokes Jayce is surprising because he is consistently characterized as a pacifist to the point of it being a fatal flaw. He doesn’t even commit an act of violence in a show filled with fight scenes until the second to last episode, let alone against Jayce of all people. I think the last thing season one Viktor would do is intentionally cause physical harm to someone, hence why it is only at the part where he is the farthest gone.
Basically if I had to guess I’d say it’s like 50/50 level of control, but you have written some great character analysis so I’m curious what your thoughts are as to how much of season two was Viktor and how much was the Hexcore
Honestly, Anon, I'm wrestling with this on almost a daily basis myself when I write fics. It's definitely not helped by the fact they avoided a lot of exposition in S2 in favor of pacing (the slower pace of S1 allowed for a lot more signposting and exposition of what was going on, I think somewhat to the detriment of S2) and the fact that we don't really get much of Viktor after he stops being the Machine Herald, because to my eyes that's the first time we see the real Viktor all season and it would be nice to get him to express some contrast with what came before (though of course it would ruin the pacing of a perfect moment).
I think you basically nailed all of the points of confusion. I've ever considered tracking all the points where his voice warps for clues, because I think there is something to be gleaned from how and when his voice distorts, but in what direction is also a curious question.
Was saying "affection" kept them together more or less than what Viktor would have said to Jayce? Would he on his own have said love? Or would he, in his infinite shyness, have not dared to mention emotion at all, because Viktor is an expert at pushing those closest to him away and hiding his own emotions? Was that the Hexcore trying to drag Jayce in closer by calling it affection, or push him away before it could gain strength by lowering Viktor saying "love" down to just saying "affection"?
On the other hand, during the Herald's villain monologue at the end in the Astral Plane, his voice is distorted for almost every line except, "This senseless waste," which does feel like a sincere Viktor line, perhaps the only one that is truly him that whole time, including when he said he was pleased to see Jayce, in that horrible mocking tone. Could that not be the Hexcore speaking there?
I'll offer what I think is happening:
In order to chart "What is Hexcore" vs. "What is Viktor" it's less useful to look at Viktor's motives than the Hexcore's.
The Hexore wanted to expand its influence. It wanted to become powerful enough to have its own army and to destroy the civilization around it as other versions of the Hexcore have done throughout history. I believe it reached those goals by posing them as things Viktor, on his own, would want to do like help the needy, thus hiding its ends inside of Viktor's motives.
Note too that people who have dosed up on Shimmer are more susceptible to its molding.
Hence we can assume that the Hexcore, in the guise of Sky, using Viktor's guilt about her and his own failures to help the undercity, guided Viktor down to the Shimmer victim encampment specifically.
Viktor is not a mystic. The most mystical thing he says in S1 is that the Arcane speaks through mages. But the Hexcore is a magical artifact. Something like the Hexcore also destroyed a civilization centuries ago, and the figure in Heimerdinger's memory looks like Viktor when he's cloaked.
So personally, I think we can ascribe any mysticism to the Hexcore's influence too. That means the Cult, for example. Also Viktor's, "You need not suffer anymore," and kind of making them all genuflect to him, feels very OOC and just plain wrong for Viktor.
Whereas Viktor in the Astral Plane feels like real Viktor. Even the fact that when we show his point of view out into the world he is himself in a field of stars, seeing the real world projected in front of him like Plato's Allegory of the Cave gives the impression of imprisonment, like he's looking out through the windows of his own eyes to a shrouded world he can no longer directly touch.
And note, for example, that Sky/the Hexcore doesn't want Viktor to heal Vander. That's all Viktor. I believe the reason is because it doesn't want to run out of energy too quickly.
Basically, I think the Hexcore is stringing Viktor along there as Sky, giving him a little terrarium of stars to play in, while using him as a vessel of assimilation under the guise of healing. These are on both sides, inner and outer, things that Viktor wants to do, so he's seduced. He doesn't fight it.
I also think at a certain point, the Hexcore Viktor gains enough power to be able to impact people who aren't dosed with Shimmer. I think this comes later though, which is why it's not interested in Jayce at first but it is interested in assimilating him later. At that point, again, those motives align with Viktor's own sincere desire to see Jayce again (maybe he's sick of all the hippies in the commune lol) and the Hexcore is happy to get rid of someone who could conceivably stop it.
But note, the Hexcore is still playing along with Viktor. It could forcibly assimilate Jayce, but Viktor wants Jayce to choose his side willingly, so it holds back. In part too because that disappointment is what fuels Viktor to give himself over the Hexcore's goals entirely and ask for Singed's treatment with Apex Shimmer. At that point, as the showrunner noted, it doesn't need the guise of Sky anymore, it doesn't need to string Viktor along anymore. He's bought into the idea of forcibly assimilating the world if he can't get Jayce to join willingly.
I also heard an interesting theory that I'd like to factor in: basically, until he gains access to the Anomaly, Viktor doesn't have the power to strip himself of the Hexcore's influence or overcome it. That's why there's no point in Jayce trying to get through to him sooner, it wouldn't do anything because Viktor would still be trapped in its web.
Once they have the Anomaly, Viktor as an ascended being can strip away the Hexcore's influence. And that's why I lamented that we don't get more of his thoughts in that scene. Because I think an interpretation can be made that the Machine Herald look is just the human form of the Hexcore, using Viktor as a vessel.
Once that outer shell explodes, it really is Viktor again, with all the power of the Anomaly and Jayce's rune at his disposal. Now he and Jayce can work together to reverse the damage, free all the trapped souls from the Hexcore's web, and save the day. But we see that only then Viktor is able to view his own actions as himself, and he's horrified. There I think we get Viktor's one true, sincere reaction to everything that has happened up to that point and confirm that, yes, while the Hexcore interwove its seduction through Viktor's motives, none of this is what Viktor wanted. The ultimate outcome was the Hexcore's goals.
Quick Doylist addition: I also think there's definitely a draft where it's all Viktor getting controlled, but the writers know that can be kind of boring. It's better when characters take action and make choices, rather than being controlled. So I think that's why they settled on a combination of "The Hexcore's end goals, but Viktor's underlying motivations being twisted to support them."

Another 5 sentence (paragraph) for viktor?? Maybe him being such a creature of habit visiting the same bakery just about daily and always getting the same thing- mainly because he thinks the girl behind the counter is cute not thinking she notices him too much past being a regular but she sort of looks out for him? Brings him pastries to the lab when he doesn't come by upon jayces instruction of where he is.
You glance at the clock on the wall, and then at the door; when no one walks through, you also glance out at the street through the large windows lining the front of the shop. Once again, though, no one is there; no customers, nor passerby. You try to ignore the pang of sadness in your chest, but without any patrons to distract you it proves difficult. It wasn’t a busy time of day, so you’re not really surprised that no one is vying for a pastry at the moment - but that’s not what you’re upset about. For months now, you’d had a regular customer -Viktor, his name was- and every day like clockwork, he would come into your shop to purchase a custard pastry and an over-sugared coffee with sweetmilk.
But not today, it seemed. Such a fact certainly dampered your mood, but you knew it had only been a matter of time. Viktor was a busy man, you had learned, and during his visits over the past week, he’d looked increasingly stressed and tired. You had, of course, asked him about what was bothering him so much, and it hadn’t taken much prodding for him to air out his anxieties. You didn’t understand most of the technical jargon during his rant, but you certainly understood what it meant to be overworked: years ago, when you had worked as an apprentice for another shop closer to the edge of the city, you had been much the same - thirteen hour shifts, early mornings, late nights, and lots of coffee.
You quickly walk to the front door and flip the little ‘open for business’ sign over, noting the shop as closed instead. Viktor had said on many occasions what a wonder your coffee and treats were, and how it was something in his day that he always actively looked forward to. So, you decide, if he wasn’t able to find time in his schedule to come to you, then you would simply have to go to him. He had told you once where he worked: had it been an off-handed comment? Yes. But that didn’t matter.
Half an hour later, you’re out of breath and perhaps a little more sweaty than you wanted to be, but you had found Viktor’s lab. It had taken several wrong turns, and a couple of stops to consult a map and ask strangers for directions, but you had found it. Pleased with yourself, you knock on the door and push it open a crack, poking your head in. Two pairs of eyes immediately zero in on you, and Viktor looks stunned. “What are you doing here?” he asks, yanking the pair of goggles off his head, “did something happen?”
You smile widely, and present the tray of food from behind your back. “You didn’t come by today,” you explain, “and you said you’d been exceptionally crammed lately. I thought I’d bring some of the bakery to you - and Jayce of course.” You tack on the last bit when said partner pouts longingly at the snacks. Viktor’s surprise quickly morphs into something warmer and softer, and he gestures you further into the lab. “I won’t keep you, I know you’re busy” you say, setting the tray down nearby. “I just wanted to make sure that you eat something. I can come by tomorrow, if you’d like?” Viktor opens his mouth to reply, but before he’s about to thank you and agree, Jayce pipes up that yes, you should definitely come by tomorrow.

Viktor, Silco, and the Medardas walk into a bar. They do zaunite shots. Within 30 minutes, Zaun is independent, owns a 50% stake in hextech, and has a powerful new military ally.
Sorry this one took a hot minute (thank fuck for my ego asks aren't dated) but here we go! a bunch of implied ships because Viktor is. Drunk. mind the tags, and cw for alcohol.....obviously.
-
Mel was starting to think that perhaps this was a mistake.
The time for that occurring may have, admittedly, be well past. Perhaps it should have occurred to her before she agreed to meet her mother for drinks on the other side of the barricade. Perhaps it should have occurred to her before she dressed and set out for the barricade- absolutely not on the barricade itself, that wasn’t the moment for doubt. The whole trip across the bridge had been peaceful serenity, pulling her hood down for the guards, explaining gently that she had to make a diplomatic trip. She hadn’t had a single thought other than the accomplishment of her mission, lest anything about her walk give her away.
The doubts set back in in the shadows of Zaun, winding down streets to a bar that wasn’t The Last Drop- more neutral territory- with no name above the door. She pushes it open, and for a moment, thinks she may have entered the one place she hadn’t intended to. Because that, at the bar, is definitely Silco. That’s Silco.
Arguing with- ah, she thinks, it’s going to be one of these.
She walks up to the bar, reaches in front of Viktor to steal his shot, downs it, and says- “Have either of you seen my mother?”
Silco gives her a flat, unamused look, but Viktor just catches the look in her eye and waves to the bartender. “A double for me and for my friend and keep them coming.” he says. “Ah, and one more? we have someone else coming.”
“Have you invited yourself to my meeting?” Mel asks, amused. “It seems only fair, since you’ve invited yourself to mine.” Viktor deadpans. “And anyway I suppose since you’re here, you could contribute.”
“What’s the topic at hand?”
“I was seeing what the terms of a hypothetical separatist agreement would be, if I could get Jayce to stop having a stroke long enough to consider one.”
“Poor man.” Mel says, absently. She’s considering the beginning of the sentence, but in the background of her mind, turning it over like a multifaceted gem as she continues talking. “He had too much on his plate and then went back up to the table to get more.”
“I believe he’s starting to shut down from the stress. He’s getting hard to talk to.”
Viktor sounds a little wistful, and Mel rubs his back gently and looks over at Silco.
“And what were your terms?”
Silco snorts, and then he slides her his shotglass.
“Drink up.” He says. “And lets get a table, shall we?”
--
When Ambessa Medarda arrives she is welcomed with considerably more enthusiasm than she was expecting, and a line of shots.
--
“So.” Viktor says, enunciating too carefully, like someone who holds his liqueur well but has just had the alcoholic equivalent of being hit by a train. “I-- have a confession. To make.”
“Are you sure this is the place to make it?” Mel asks, amused, and then glowers at her mother when Ambessa snorts. “He’s on my side, i’m not being soft i’m protecting my innnnnettrests.”
Viktor waves them off. “It’s a problem.” He continues. “I have. A problem.”
“I am in the habit of solving problems.” Silco says, with the air of someone who usually shoots his problems in the chest and then in the head for good measure.
Viktor points at him. “No.” He says.
“Just tell us the problem.” Ambessa says, looking unduly amused.
“-right.” Viktor says. He’s gotten distracted, pointing at Silco turning into poking his cheek on the unmarred side of his face. Silco was letting him, was the really confusing part. “There is only one thing I hate. More than politics.”
“Are we talking politics again?” mel asked. “I thought- we fixed that. Did we?”
“I’m not sure writing that on a napkin was legally binding.” Viktor says. “Oh, it will be.” Silco mutters, darkly, and Viktor pokes his cheek again. “No.” he says. “My problem is that I hate business. I hate it. I have-- shares. In the business. And I do not want them. I do not want the board meetings. I do not want it. But i’m a little concerned about losing any kind of-- ownership. Especially since a good chunk of the rest are with you, Mel, no offense, you’re a calculating nightmare.” Mel looks pleased. “Thank you.”
“Right, yes. Exactly. I want-- less. of the business. And if I want the business again. I will simply. Marry Jayce. So who wants them.”
Silco raises a hand with the air of someone completely disbelieving of the fact that he’s doing this. Viktor points at him. “If I want them back, i’ll marry you.”
“Are you just- marrying people.”
“May I suggest my daughter.” Ambessa deadpans.
“Mother.”
“He’s very calculating. He could be useful.”
Mel sighs, and grabs another napkin, writing on it. “Alright.” She says. “So you don’t have to marry me for undue influence over your own work- don’t look at me like that. Stop considering it. Anyway.”
“I just think we’d take over Runeterra.” Viktor muses. “You’d be a very useful ally.”
“Likewise. okay. Jayce...is still primary shareholder. We just both give up our shares, he keeps the most of it, and we give the rest to someone who won’t ever have incentive to shut you down-” She slides the napkin to Silco.
“You.”
Silco takes the napkin. “And what’s to stop a- hostile takeover, in a more conventional sense of hostile.”
“Your powerful new military ally.” Mel says, and then claps her mother on the back. “You can iron out the details of that. I am going to. Powder my nose.
“You need a hand?” Viktor asks. Mel eyes him, and then shrugs.
“sure, the more the merrier. lets-- go.”
--
In the morning, they go across the bridge hungover with the paperwork, and Jayce doesn’t bother asking questions.

You’re Priceless
Part 2: Gift Giving
FANDOM: Arcane
Character(s): Viktor
Type of Request: Series, Sugar Daddy/Sugar Baby AU, Fluff
Word Count: 1349
Note(s): I meant to post this earlier but ended up busy with other things. But here it is! Also thank you everyone that gave the previous part so much love. I appreciate it ❤️
Part 1 :: Part 3
A few weeks have passed since Jayce introduced you and Viktor. The two of you had talked multiple times, setting up your boundaries as well as how Viktor should take care of you. It was very sweet and heartwarming when he said he didn’t want to spend money on things you didn’t like and asked for your preferences.
So far it’s just been him paying every time he’s taken you out to do something. Mostly it’s eating as he doesn’t do that enough since he throws himself in his work more often than not. Each time you’ve gone out, you’d talk about his work and he’d ask you about how you’re doing. You hadn’t realized how nice it felt to be doted on.
Viktor was still a pretty shy man, however. Or maybe inexperienced? You notice that he is still rather self-conscious with certain aspects of himself so you’ve tried your best to let him know that is amazing. That always makes his face go a deep red, which you can’t deny that you love.
Today was another day where Viktor asked you to join him on his lunch break. He’d mentioned to you previous that he didn’t take breaks much but now he wants to enjoy them with you. That quickly put a smile on your face and you instantly agreed as you had nothing else planned for the day.
“And then it blew up.” Viktor was talking to you about an experiment he was working on with Jayce. He has told you about a few experiments in the past weeks. It still did nothing to stop you from being a tad startled by how nonchalant Viktor acted at something blowing up.
“Are you okay? You didn’t get hurt, did you?” You asked and Viktor gave a soft smile at your concern.
“I am fine, my dear. Jayce, however, needed to change his clothing. It seemed that the blast didn’t like his vest.” A grin crept onto Viktor’s face as he leaned closer to you, as if going to tell you a secret. “I can’t say I blamed it.” You couldn’t help a chuckle at that as you shook your head.
“Well I am glad that you two are alright.” There was a tad bit of guilt as you knew you worried more for Viktor than Jayce. Jayce is a good friend, but Viktor is… well you don’t really have a label on your relationship.
Apparently, your arrangement isn’t uncommon but you don’t want to go around calling yourself a sugar baby. You’d hate to see what would happen to Viktor’s reputation. He had already told you about the reaction many people in Piltover had when a Zaunite came here so you would hate for people to look down on him again.
“What is on your mind?” Viktor took you out of your thoughts and you gave him a sheepish look at being caught. His eyes were full of concern and that made you feel more guilt.
“Just thinking of what to call us,” you answered honestly. You were never able to lie to those golden eyes of his. Viktor gave you a curious look at your statement. “We’re not dating, but we also are more than friends. I suppose I’m just a bit confused should someone ever ask.”
“Ah, I see.” Viktor took a few moments to think as well, his face going a tad red at the idea. “I enjoy my time with you and, I hope it’s the same?” You quickly nodded. “If someone were to ask, I suppose we could tell them we’re together just to avoid that awkwardness. But with just us, we don’t need to have a label, do we?” He asked and you thought about that for a bit.
You didn’t necessarily feel pressured to label you and Viktor as anything really. It was only you two plus some close friends that knew you had this relationship of sorts. The thought of telling strangers that you’re dating though… you couldn’t deny the way it caused your heart to speed up slightly.
“You really don’t mind?” Viktor just gave you a look at that statement.
“Do I mind telling random people that I’m seeing someone as captivating as you?” That definitely causes you to feel more flustered. Another thing you learned as you grew closer with him is that he is very good with his words, it just takes him a bit to gather his thoughts at times.
“You’re not too bad yourself,” you couldn’t help but say, reveling in the fact that it caused his face to grow redder. You smiled a bit in victory as he rolled his eyes in amusement.
His lunch break was unfortunately almost over so he paid for everything, like usual, and offered you his arm as you both walked. You usually walked with him to the academy doorstep and he went the rest of the way so you expected that to happen again. Instead, he led you in a different direction.
“Viktor?” You questioned and he just gave you a reassuring smile. He has not once done anything to make you uncomfortable so you trusted him. You continued walking with him, exchanging small talk before realizing he had taken you to a jewelry store. A very nice jewelry store as well. “You don’t have to–”
“I want to. Whatever you want. A ring, bracelet, necklace, just whatever catches your eye. I’ll buy it for you.” He has given you gifts before, but mostly flowers. Buying actual jewelry? That was a lot more expensive than flowers, but the look on his face let you know that you would be unable to convince him otherwise.
So you walked in with him and took a look around. You tried to eye some less expensive items, which Viktor quickly caught onto and maneuvered you to the more expensive pieces. Damn him and his intelligence.
Eventually, something did catch your eye. It was amazing and shiny and cost a lot. You quickly tried to look at something else, but Viktor called over the store owner.
“I would like that piece, please.” The owner seemed more than happy to sell something expensive, giving the best customer service as Viktor asked to see if it needed resizing. You fell more in love with the piece when it was on you. Thankfully it fit, not perfectly as it felt a tad small, but Viktor was already spending a lot of money so you weren’t going to ask him to spend more to resize the accessory.
You walked out, feeling elated at the fact Viktor just bought you something so pretty and expensive but also feeling guilty because he bought you something so pretty and expensive.
“You didn’t have to do that,” you muttered as you moved your new jewelry piece to see the different angles in the sunlight.
“Oh do you want to go back and return it?” Viktor teased and chuckled at the look of hesitance and horror at the idea that appeared on your face. “I wanted to buy you something. You have been so kind and good to me so I wanted to give you something that actually had value besides just taking you somewhere to eat.”
“Food is valuable,” you commented and Viktor rolled his eyes at that. “You’re only rolling your eyes because you don’t take care of yourself like you should.” Viktor chuckled at that.
“I am doing a lot better since meeting you.” That was pretty true as Viktor had been rather scrawny when you first met. He’s still scrawny but he actually has some meat on his bones now. “But if you really don’t like the gift–” His teasing turned to concern as you knew he must be feeling self-conscious again.
You quickly leaned up to kiss him on the cheek, something you have not done yet. Viktor’s face went a bright red as he turned to clear his throat. “I love it, thank you Viktor.”
“Anything for you,” he stuttered out and you couldn’t help a chuckle as you looked at this precious man.

Ok, I have some thoughts on Viktor and his lore (in Arcane and his "original" lore). I don't like how things are going in the series (I'm afraid they frame Viktor as a villain) and I wanted to talk to someone abt it so here it goes.
Arcane spoilers ahead!!
Before anything, it's important to state that I'm not gonna complain saying "aw they changed his original lore" and bla bla bla. No, I'm here bc after reading his original lore I'm afraid that his lore in Arcane goes in a different direction and end up making him be seen and be framed as a villain in Act 3.
In my humble opinion I think Arcane should have brought more details from his original lore bc watching it I felt everything that the person in this post said about Viktor and I think it would connect perfectly with lore-Viktor and vice versa and it would help build up his character better (not making me or anybody else feel like he can be portrayed as a villain but I'll talk about it later).
First appearance (episode 2)
So, ever since episode 2 when we see Viktor in Jayce's trial it seems like he might be up to something bad (not bc of his character itself but bc of his interactions, expressions, placements, etc).
The first moment in Jayce's trial his character is shadowed right after Jayce passes him but he's in evidence, why? Most importantly, what for? What is he seeking in Jayce? It's just too ominous.
Seconds later the trial begins and Jayce ends up being pushed to speak that he's studying magic and this intrigues Viktor.
And the moment Jayce says that magic can be used for good would be a great moment to cut to Viktor but it cuts to him after Jayce says "We're the champions of discovery. Why fear it when we can master it?" and Viktor looks like he's thinking "He understands it. We're on the same page."
Like, I understand they had to let Jayce speak all of this 'til the end for Heimerdinger to shut him up but depending on how the audience perceives Viktor people can understand that he wants the power of magic to do harm and not actually help people (that IS his goal in his original lore but with this it ends up being ambiguous and can lead people to think that he only says he wants to help people to cover a bad intention). But anyway, let's continue.
When Viktor comes back again he's with Heimerdinger locking Jayce's stuff and Heimer says leaving the room (as Viktor takes Jayce's notes):
Once again it leads you to think that Viktor is up to something.
It kills me bc his first impressions are "he's a bad guy, he'll do something bad at some point".
Plus, right after this the scene cuts to Silco and Singed who as far as I'm aware (I never played LoL, I only read his biography and saw some coments abt him here) is not a good person.
But then, we have THIS sequence:
Which shows that he's actually really empathetic but depending on how you see him it can lead you to think that he's only saving Jayce's life for his own benefit.
Our Hextech dream (episode 3)
Now going to the gayest episode featuring them both (bc we gotta agree that they have A LOT of chemestry, I understand if you only see them as study pals tho).
Their first sequence in the episode is in Jayce's lab where they're talking abt the Hextech and Jayce asks Viktor why he's risking all he has to help him and Viktor answers "Do you think it was my life's ambition to be an assistant? Scientists seek discoveries. Ways to make the world a better place. This Hextech dream of yours has the potential to do that." And then:
Once again we stumble across something that (depending on the audience's perception) makes Viktor ends up sounding egotistical and using "make the world a better place" as an excuse.
(From now on I'll stop using images bc I'm almost reaching the limit allowed and I need to have one more spare space.)
After it we have them breaking in Heimerdinger's lab and floating (honestly, the happiest scene in all the series so far ;;). All nice, all good, seems like Viktor isn't such a bad person after all, right?
Open the gates of progress (episode 4)
Ok, some years have passed and we're now seeing a new Piltover (Hexgates and all that). Our boys are back with new inventions with their Hextech and even got Hextech gemstones.
Heimerdinger comes to their lab to see what new things they got and after their presentation he says that in a decade they'll be able to be fully ready. But this worries Viktor that replies "A decade? With respect, Professor. We can be improving lives with Hextech NOW." Heimer then points "A breakthrough like this takes time, Viktor. Putting that kind of power into everyone's hands is dangerous. Keep at it and I'm sure you will discover a way to safeguard Hextech against misuse." but Viktor doens't even have the chance to talk further abt it but his expression shows how frustrated he is (y'know the man is dying, he wants to help people and doesn't even know if he'll have enough time to achieve this goal of his, it's understandable where he's coming from).
Btw I'll comment on that later too, bc I don't like the idea of him getting sick and probably dying soon.
But I need to talk abt Jayce for a minute. He was chosen to do the speech on Progress Day, during this whole episode there's focus on him. In the beginning he invited Heimerdinger to the lab, he was the one invited to Mel's event, he was responsible for the speech. Even on the next episodes he's the one who's earning the place in the concil, the girl, etc (while Viktor's decaying and losing everything).
And it's interesting how we can understand that he's ego is increasing. The scene right before his speech he drinks from his own mug and even "crushes" Viktor when putting it back on the table.
An interesting detail I kept paying attention was that Viktor always stays in the shadows while the light always follows Jayce (remember his trial and now again at the speech).
Another detail I noticed during this episode is that Jayce is always controlling the situation. From a simple action of stopping Viktor (when he's going after Heimerdinger to continue talking when they finish their presentation) to changing the plans right on stage now allowing Viktor to show their work. Even when the Council was talking abt the Hextech gemstones he did the same things, stopped Viktor from standing up and without asking/checking with him told that he would suspend all Hextech operations.
Here, the last time Viktor's expressions are shown is after Jayce says that they'd suspend everything including the laboratories. After that Jayce is the only one adressed as a scientist, everybody in the Council consider Hextech only HIS work and he doesn't even include Viktor. (what happened to OUR Hextech dream, huh?)
And we don't see them again, only Jayce when he talks to Caitlyn already as a councilor.
Shaping your own destiny (episode 5)
Many people have mixed feelings abt this episode when it comes to our science boys but I think this is the one that is mostly full of important details and parallels and I really like it for that!
In their first part of this episode Jayce is talking about his councilor stuff to Viktor as he replies that that talk is a poor use of their time and asks "What about our pledge to save lives, for those in need? For the undercity?". Jayce then apologizes for not announcing their other projects in his speech and says that soon they could do what they had to but Viktor interrupts him saying "Soon? There are people who need our help NOW, Jayce." But there's no chance to continue talking bc Marcus arrives and Viktor leaves right after coughing blood and having a "vision".
WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO YOU MY BABY BOY???
When they appear again Jayce is looking at himself in the mirror while talking to Viktor who's working on the Hexcore. The problem in this scene (imo) is that Viktor seems to be now obsessed with the Hextech in a way he never was before (at least for us that are watching) and he seems... different.
After that we have Jayce diving deeper in politics and being heterosexual while Viktor is working (and eventually fainting). But the parallel between Jayce + Mel and Viktor + Hexcore through their sequences (althought for many it was painful and unbelievable to watch) was really interesting and here are some of my notes:
The whole sequence (especially Jayce's part alone) we see that Jayce is achieving things. He's become councilor, he's now involved in politics, he got the girl, basically everything is going well for him. While Viktor is not being able to discover or solve the problems he wants to solve. He's efforts were put aside, he can't put the Hexcore to work, and he's also DYING.
The transition back and forth between Jayce + Mel and Viktor + Hexcore was very well thought! Jayce and Mel are becoming one as well as Viktor and the Hexcore. The use of the color purple is also really good as it represents luxury but at the same time alchemy, power and magic.
The transition from Mel alone in her bed to Viktor in the hospital bed was also interesting as both are very active in Jayce's life. But in the end he chose to be with his dying science partner.
And now we have the most important detail of them all that was the main reason why I thought they could make Viktor be painted as a villain:
These tarot cards (Death and the Magician). They appear right after Viktor asks to Jayce "How much time do I have?" and respectively mean letting something die for new beginnings to come and having the resouces to start these new beginnings. The positive aspects of the Magician work very well with his original lore (bc it talks abt using your skills for good and achieving things you daydream abt) but the negative aspects of this card are:
Illness;
Infidelity;
A great loss;
The use of your skills and talents for evil.
My fear is that they use all of these ambiguous hints and the negative aspects of the Magician (that has Viktor's illustration in it) to portrait him as a villain (I'll finish to talk abt episode 6 and then I come back to this).
Uncharted waters (episode 6)
I think we can all agree this episode speaks mostly abt Viktor when either him or Jayce have a scene. Before the opening there's a flashback from Viktor's childhood (where he partnered up with Singed*), then we have Jayce talking abt Viktor's conditions to Mel, back again to Viktor but he's with the Hexcore, both together working with the Hexcore and last but not least Viktor meeting Singed again after so long.
*Remember I mentioned him earlier? Yeah, it was bc of this episode.
Let's go from the beginning then. The episode starts a flashback of Viktor's childhood as a lonely boy testing his invention and ending up meeting a strange man who's taking care of a mutation called Rio. He offers him self to be an assistant to take care of her (and we further know that when he discovers the state Rio is he ends up running away end not coming back). After it the scene cuts to older Viktor sitting where (according to Heimerdinger) he used to sit as a young scholar.
Then we see Mel and Jayce. Jayce going after her to apologize for disappearing and tell that Viktor's dying. He tells that it might have something to do with the place Viktor grew up in and that this was one of the things they wanted to fix with Hextech. Improve lives, solve real issues. They talk a little and Mel suggests that he should stay with Viktor.
Personally I hated this scene bc if someone had to talk abt Viktor's past (and also motivations) it was Viktor, not him. But anyway, I'll come back to this later as well.
The interesting thing in this scene tho is that right when Jayce says "It's a beautiful painting" as we see him and Mel almost as they were inside this bright painting it cuts to Viktor as he was sitting inside the Hexcore but here in a dark enviroment. (Once again having a parallel between them, now with brightness and darkness.)
The next time we see them, Jayce and Viktor are together in their lab. Viktor is showing Jayce that the Hexcore responds to organic matter and says "This is unlike anything we've ever seen, Jayce. It could be the key to augmenting physiology, extending life..." and Jayce complements "Curing you." [Plant dies]
I'm not gonna lie that I had a little laugh when I first watched this scene.
The dialogue continues a little longer with Viktor telling there might not have enought time to make the Hexcore work with organic matter and Jayce says they'll gonna ask Heimerdinger for help.
When they come back to the screen again Heimer is with them as they show him the Hexcore. He says that they must destroy it but Jayce replies saying it could save Viktor's life. Then Heimer says "Viktor, something's different. You've changed. What did you do?"
Note: everytime someone mentions saving Viktor's life with the Hexcore it's always Jayce but I never understood why Viktor never said that they'd first use it to help other people first. It implies that "yes, Viktor wants to use the Hexcore to cure himself and maybe then help people" and I don't like it.
Jayce and Heimer then discuss and after Heimer leaves Viktor says "I might know someone else who could help."
The last time Viktor appears in the episode (and before Act 3) is when he goes after Singed and only says "I understand now". And it ends there the sequence of science pals.
Personal comments
Let's go now through my thoughts and opinions abt everything I wrote here. So, back again to what I said in the beginning of this post: I believe Arcane-Viktor and lore-Viktor would be complementary to one another and if they had used more of his original lore he'd probably be seen more as a good character.
"But why that?" you might ask. Bc in his original lore he really wanted to help people. While living in Zaun he did reseaches and offered himself to help places reduce their number of accidents. As you read it you can see that his heart is in a good place (although he might seem a little radical).
If they told this abt his character in Arcane it'd support his argument of saying that he wanted to use Hextech to make the world a better place and help people (like, we only come to know what problems they wanna fix in episode 6 and Jayce is the one that talks abt it, before that we only have Viktor's words and only after having hits that he might actually be a bad person). They should have let Viktor talk abt his past, show what he's been through, not Jayce.
And let's mention Viktor getting SICK and DYING?? Plus being left behind by his fellow partner and the shit coming down for him in a way that he even went after Singed?? These two things can make such a fucking mess... Like, what if they make Viktor use Hextech only for his own benefit? And the writers can use the fact that he's dying to justify his Glorious Evolution (that didn't come from his experiences but seeing other people's), all that just sounds so... terrible. If anybody is to be selfish and egotistic that person is Jayce (his original lore even shows this side of his), Viktor always tried to help others (he even used himself as the first "prototype" for his Glorious Evolution). I stg I'll get really pissed if they paint Viktor as a villain.
Well, these are my thoughts, Idk what to expect but I'm really afraid of what's gonna happen in Act 3. I want them to end the series in a very tightened but the future is unknown, I can only hope for the best.
Please share your thoughts, I'll love to read them! <3
TL;DR: some of my thoughts on Viktor's scenes that people might perceive him as a bad person and how writers could have used this to paint him as a villain. (+ how I feel abt all that)

Prompt: Baker!Reader bringing treats to Viktor?

Come and kill me
Fandom: LOL Rating: E Warnings: / Relationships: Jayce/Viktor Characters: Jayce, Viktor Additional Tags: Original Lore, Plot What Plot/Porn Without Plot, Love/Hate, Rimming, Orgasm Delay/Denial, Begging, Inspired by Fanart Summary:
It all begins with one of Jayce’s umpteenth ultimatums to Viktor.
(Inspire by this fanart)
(AO3 link)
It all begins with one of Jayce’s umpteenth ultimatums to Viktor - because as much as he should, he can’t bring himself to just crush him with his hammer and be done with him - and with the latter’s reply to just come kill him if he’s so pressed about what he’s doing.
If they were supposed to fight, though, why is Jayce sitting on Viktor’s face, pants discarded who remembers where, like his hammer - and isn’t it dumb of him to leave himself defenseless like this? - while he gets eaten out?
This surely won’t be part of the list of Jayce’s smartest decisions, but damn if he can’t bring himself to care, not when Viktor moves his tongue oh so right and makes him almost forget his own name.
And since when he’s so good at this anyway? Jayce doesn’t remember him like this, and he doubts Viktor’s had any kind of experience outside of that little thing they shared - so little that it always manages to stop them from actually killing each other - because nobody else but Jayce could ever keep up with him-- yeah, yeah, he’s being egocentric blah blah blah, but what can he say? It’s not egocentrism if it’s true.
Viktor swirls his tongue around his rim and Jayce moans, rubbing himself against his face in search for more.
There was a time in which he wouldn’t have dreamed to do something like this, and not because he had any particular qualms about hurting Viktor, but because in the unfortunate eventuality he would’ve snapped his neck, he would’ve never heard the end of it - that and he also would’ve had to find an excuse for what happened, because like hell he was going to let the fact that he and Viktor fucked become public knowledge.
As much as he doesn’t agree with Viktor’s philosophy, he can’t deny that the augmentations have made him stronger. It would be foolish to dispute that, though Jayce always makes a point to remind him that, despite everything, there’s still a human part inside him that he’ll never be able to get rid of.
Apparently, however, Viktor doesn’t like that he’s taking the lead - when does he ever? - and after just a couple of seconds of letting Jayce do as he pleases, he grabs his thighs with a steel hold, keeping him in place as he lavishes his entrance the way he sees fit.
Jayce can’t help but to groan, and he almost mutters a “please”, before thinking better of it - like hell he’s going to humiliate himself like this.
He grits his teeth and tries to take what he can get, despite his limited mobility, but Viktor must’ve understood what’s going on, because the fucker decides that now it’s a great moment to slow down.
“Viktor…” Jayce warns him. If he doesn’t go back at it like he was doing before… well, he’ll come up with something. That gives Viktor pause - unfortunate - and makes him pull away - even more unfortunate - to look at him and damn, it’s still so creepy how similar he looks to the old version of himself despite the augments.
“Say please,” he says, looking way too serious for someone who just uttered those words. Fuck, why does he look so sexy?
“Or what?” Jayce challenges him, because he always picks the worst choice every time he has the occasion for it.
He’s lucky Viktor knows him well enough to expect it, and thus he isn’t perturbed at all by his words.
“Or else you won’t come,” he replies, then, now with a hint of amusement in his voice, as if Jayce couldn’t crush his head between his thighs. He should do it, he really should, but despite the temptation, there’s something about this entire situation that… that gets to him, and despite the fact that just a minute ago he was against it, he finds himself considering Viktor’s words carefully.
“… Fine. Pretty please, Viktor?”
What he gets for his effort is an unimpressed glare.
“Why don’t you ever take anything seriously?”
“What?” Jayce reels back. “I am taking this seriously!”
Viktor looks between indignant and baffled, but at least after shaking his head and muttering something in his native language that Jayce doesn’t understand, he gets back to business.
“O-Oh! Right there!” Jayce can’t help but to moan, relieved that this moment of pause is over.
He needs it so bad he’s going to explode, so Viktor better give it to him.
Turns out Viktor’s a little shit of a madman - which isn’t anything new, truly - but only now Jayce can see that his evilness truly has no limit, because the asshole always slows down right when Jayce’s near the apex, sometimes even pulling away under the guise of catching his breath - as if they both know he doesn’t need it anymore.
The more this torture continues, the more Jayce feels weak, and the more he keeps going back to his previous ideas to crush Viktor’s head.
“Viktor… C’mon, man… I don’t have all day,” he tries to reason with him, hoping that it’ll manage to make him see the error of his ways, but Viktor continues, relentless.
Sure, Jayce could turn things around and get want he wants with force, but… despite everything, he’s still hard as a rock, which is something that he’ll probably have to think about later, but not now because doing introspection while fucking doesn’t seem that great of an idea even for him.
“Viktor…” he tries again, but it accomplishes nothing as Viktor lazily drags his tongue around his entrance, pressing it inside just barely before retracting it immediately.
Jayce has no idea how long he’s going to last before he goes crazy. He’s come to a point in which his mind feels dizzy between the pleasure Viktor’s bringing him and the frustration about it not being enough for him to come.
At first he thought he might be able to pull through, but he understands now that it’s not the case. He has to relent.
“Viktor… Please.”
Viktor stops for just a moment - probably surprised to hear Jayce say something like that so earnestly - but then he continues, this time pressing his tongue further inside Jayce, going harder and faster, but it’s still not enough!
“I’m beggin’… Please! Pleasepleasepleaseplease!!”
He stops talking only because Viktor moves a hand to grab his cock, jerking him off while he continues pushing his tongue inside. It’s warm and wet and all Jayce can do is moaning Viktor’s name, grateful for what he’s been finally granted - and when has he ever felt like this?
It’s humiliating to say the least, and yet it also feels so good, truly incredible, and the fact that it’s Viktor of all people the one who’s making him feel like this only adds fuel to the fire: he’s not going to last long.
In a rare moment of kindness, he tries to warn Viktor, he truly does, but no words come out of his mouth, or at least no words that would make sense. All he can do is lose himself to the pleasure.
His vision turns white as he comes, and for a moment, Jayce thinks he’s going to pass out right there right now, still sitting on Viktor’s face, but he manages to remain conscious throughout his entire orgasm.
Then Viktor stops holding him down and lets Jayce go, though the other doesn’t really move much - he can’t right now - but he sits on Viktor’s chest instead that on his face, giving him a moment of respite.
The hilarity of the fact that he’s gotten a bit of cum on his hair - that’s surely going to be a bitch to wash out later - is immediately cut by another wave of arousal as Viktor brings his dirty, mechanical fingers closer to his mouth and then parts his lips, licking out the cum staining them, all without moving his gaze from Jayce, who shudders at the view under him.
Damn him! Just as he was about to make a snarky remark about his hair too! Spotlight hogger!
What’s even worse is Viktor’s condescending tone as he speaks again, which makes Jayce’s knees feel even weaker than they already were - he will have to do a lot of introspection once he’s alone.
“See? It wasn’t that hard, now… Wasn’t it?”

To Fix A Broken Heart (Victor x Orianna)
