Have you gotten the chance to play with For Rent? If so, how do you like it?

For Rent was by far my favourite expansion pack ever. like a dream expansion for me. i spent a full night last week playing with it, making stuff, working on my save for the first time in ages, planning a *second* new-york inspired save...

and then i went and saved my lot as a residential rental, and all of my meticulously TOOL'ed neighborhood decorations decided to delete themselves (photo taken prior to catastrophe)

so now i have a vendetta against For Rent and i am in a state of semi-permanent shock. still partially in denial that it happened

pour one out for the deleted neighborhood. god rest her soul

#replies #asks #also rent costs 4 billion dollars a day and my game is running at a smooth 2 frames #but that's far less upsetting #hopefully this can be patched and is not caused by the way rental lots function #if it's permanent i will be devastated

#fuuuuuuuuuuck #i have literally never felt this way abt anyone in my life and thought i was incapable of love before i started dating him #and i finally was so happy like yes this is how its supposed to feel #and i knew he was less sure and was busy with work but i thought it would all work out with a little time 💔#but he said our interests are different and he's too busy with work and wants to just be friends #tbh he's busy with more than work he was always going to be busy doing other things for fun too that i couldn't have kept up with #like climbing mountains and shit #but still thought it could work #at first i almost didnt date him because of it then i was like maybe its an unfair assumption that it wouldn't work #and that he wouldn't be able or willing to prioritize a relationship #so i took the risk and got myself hurt 🤡#now we have to be friends after this shit......#and i know thats something people say but i think we could actually do it #and if we did there's a chance we could get back together #but idk #there's no real way to avoid him or some pretense of friendship anyway since he's a permanent fixture of the friend group #unless i abandon the whole group over it which would be extreme #anyway crushed devastated etc #genuinely i am unlovable and will never trust anyone again <3

being autistic is like having arachnophobia and poisonous spiders are just constantly appearing in your house, they're absolutely everywhere and you can't get rid of them no matter what you do

but then whenever you bring it up to other people or they hear you in your house screaming in pain everyone acts like you're crazy, assumes you're probably exaggerating, and doesn't understand why you're so upset about the spiders because they also have a spider or two (not poisonous) in their bathroom and they're doing fine, and have you tried just vacuuming them up or keeping the windows closed??
