Got up this morning saying I'd be very happy if she made excellent, and she did! If Troj hadn't been so upset at the ground (wet grass, saturated and squishy) I think she would've placed, the judge liked her a lot better than I first expected and she has a really solid topline normally. But you can't place a dog that doesn't move cleanly, and I'll take it as a huge compliment that it didn't move her down to Very good.

Our breeder took both BOB and BOS in Veteran (Ace, who's 10 and was reared along with Sparta + his daugther who's 8) and they pulled Troj back in the ring so she could get a troupe for the breeder's competition, so that was very fun also!

#a lot of the uk judges arent used to writing critiques so they can be a bit bland #but she judged very fairly i thought. hard on head and coat #i expected troj to be a tad much for her so i was v pleasantly surprised #not ONE SINGLE comment on anyone's ears today - in my experience specialty judges are way less picky abt ears than the allrounders are #if it tips ur usually good #however: because troj is named after her dam and looks a lot like her everyone here just calls her Candy 💀
