Podcast. I saw a bunch of btiches shit on the podcast. Like cmon. THEY ARE PRODUCING AN HOUR LONG VIDEO FOR YALL EVERY WEEK. Mfs are burnt out, you're lucky that they even produce content for you ungreatful hoes. Like lwk, I'd rather have them remove Wednesday videos. I remember when they first started their podcast that they were really excited to start and stuff. I also remember, I believe it was their earlier vlogs. When they were still living in Boston and they haven't like went to LA yet, they were talking about turning their basement into a podcast room. Like cmon. This is something they've been wanting to do and you hoes just don't appreciate anything. Like have y'all's mama's not been pissed at y'all for not appreciating her food. Live life positive and not negative tf. But ofc, I respect their decision.

Intro. Yall just love to shit on everyone. Ruining the party. Sturntok reminds me of the kids-the class "clowns" who would be so shitty to the teacher for no reason and would ruin fun things for everyone. Like guys, I think we should all as a community bully Sturntok. It requires a bit more bullying, just to knock some sense into their heads. Anyways, back to what I was ranting about. I loved their new intro. its a new era. A new them. Change. Is. Fucking. hard. I understand that you love the teens from Boston running around making fools of themselves. Me too, I shall admit it. But in order to get sponsorships, to get the little paring things. (For example, them sponsoring Celsius, even becoming the youtooz thing.) Like they gotta act more professional.

Change. This tied in with the last few things. CHANGE IS HARD. CHANGE IS A DIFFICULT THING. But how the fuck are you gonna live life, and enjoy life when your stuck on one thing forever. Change is needed for growth, and for learning. Like guys, THEYRE 20. I think that's something y'all forget. They aren't teenagers anymore. Its kinda like how when everyone went into middle school and started to not like kiddy things when you still liked kiddy things. When I was in middle school I still like to play with Legos, draw, watch anime. Until I hit 7th grade, aka everyone's downfall. I still enjoy some of those things today but I changed because people in middle school stopped like those things and its embarrassing (well for me at least) to show up in school with anime shirts cuz I'm getting older. Thats what they're feeling I guess. Again, theyre 20 now.

Crazy ass mfs. Crazy, as in them soft mf's on sturntok. Also what pisses me off more is that they're coming here on tumblr. Like no, I know your soft ass belongs on Wattpad bffr. Sometimes the fucking video frame isn't even about something "spicy" aka- them being shirtless, video frame near their crotch. It was when there was a song about sex. How soft can you be. Also with the tiktok audios being removed like cmon. Not everything is about sunshine and rainbows. I remember I commented on a Chris edit and I was like.

Ok I’m glad that we’re getting sword af again but I’m disappointed it’s audio only. Like is it bad that this announcement kinda ruined my day a bit? One of the things people like the most is seeing the cast interactions I mean a majority of the posts I’ve seen about sword af are about their interactions and reactions to things (and several posts about the seating arrangement for next season only to get no seating arrangement 😔). Also like I don’t really do podcasts. I can’t focus on audio only things for that long and (even though I’m definitely going to try to listen to season two) I don’t think I’m going to be able to listen to season two because I can’t focus that long when there’s no visuals. Everyone keeps saying budget is the reason for it to be only audio but smosh mouth and smosh Reddit stories are their podcasts but both of them have video too. Cut the video for smosh mouth if you have budget problems not the show where acting and reactions and interactions are so important. This is just going to hinder the sword af experience like I don’t understand why they did it?? I just can’t believe they delayed sword af season two for like 5 or 6 months only to make it audio only. I’m so sad that I’m probably not going to be able to enjoy season two as much because I’m not going to be able to get into it like I can when I can actually see everyone.

Also the wording really got me too like “rejoice!! 80% of what made sword af so good has been taken away!!! Hazzah!!!” Like wtf?! I keep seeing people saying we should be grateful we even get a season two and like yeah. I get that but also it’s going to be a completely different experience now and we have a right to be a little disappointed about that. I want to talk about the possible reasons they changed it to a podcast but I’m honestly too confused to even think of reason they would change it at all? Like it got similar views to most of the other content they put out at that time?? it wasn’t that different? And the community LOVED IT!

They said S2 was dropping Dec 10 2023 (holy fuck I went to fact check and they removed the release date off the end of the video..)(I’m pretty sure it was supposed to be sometime in Dec) then they pushed it back with no new release date- THEN THEY TAKE BACK THE VISUAL ASPECTS????? WTF

The Love Test | DNF

Dream and George take a test to see if they are in love with their best friend

The intense red text was prominent on his screen. Frustratingly, the one time Dream agrees to playing bedwars with George and Hypixel is down.

Dream lent back in his chair, hands behind his head staring up at the ceiling. His room was dark, the only light shone from his monitors. Patches wrapped around his legs. A deep sigh left George, as he lay his head on his desk in exasperation, an empty subway wrapper by his face, the time on his monitor read 2:17 am, yet he wasn't tired. After being on calls almost consecutively with Dream for essentially a year, he had managed to sync his sleep schedule up with him, already in Florida time prepared for when he goes to live with Dream and Sapnap.

George was disheartened. He was looking forward to playing with Dream. They were both normally either too tired or busy editing or working to go on minecraft for fun, and not just for a YouTube video. But now that they couldn't play bedwars, they were bored and unsure of what to do. They only called each other so that they could play minecraft, but that wasn't an option anymore.

"What do you want to do now then?" Dream asks, his voice far away from the mic, so much so that George nearly missed what he said. He hesitated, staring at Dreams discord profile picture light up.

"We could..." He stalled, drawing out his words. He wasn't the best at making decisions, he was much to indecisive. "Do you want to stream GeoGuessr?" He suggested, silently hoping Dream would say no. He didn't really want to do anything, only talk to Dream for hours on end.

"Not really. My brain is too slow for that level of concentration." That earned a giggle from George, putting a small smile on Dreams face. He loved that sound. "How about we go in my merch vc? Me and ni- Sapnap had fun last time just listening to music?"

George was hesitant. The last time he went in Dreams merch voice call was during the sleep over with Sapnap and Dream. That ended up in a disaster of butterflies and George having to turn his phone off for a couple of hours just to distract himself from the 'dreamnotfound' mayhem they had caused yet again on twitter. He felt giddy just thinking about it, Dream whispering into the mic, loudly cursing when George beat him at 8ball. It made him dizzy thinking about it... thinking about him.

George didn't hate it though- the attention from Dream and the fans. Despite all the jokes and innuendos that they both do to mess with their fans, George knew there was some truth to it all. A deeper meaning to being called an idiot. The endearing term that Dream loved to use oh so much. George felt fluttery, wanting to be called an idiot at this moment.

"George?" He had been silent for a while, reminiscing.

"What would we do on there?"

"Just talk. Or listen to music. Whatever you want to do, George".

Without thinking, George clicked onto the icon for Dreams server. "Do you need to add me to the call?" He asked, unsure about how the podcasts worked.

"Yeah, I need to quickly tell my mods to open it first."

Within minutes, they where in the call, hundreds of people pouring in immediately, spamming the chat with things like 'GEORGE?!' and blue and green hearts. George stifled a giggle, nerves taking over him. Despite doing streams for a living with tens of thousands of people watching him, there was something more intimate with calling Dream in a private server.

"Hello" Dream broke the silence, welcoming all the fans. He chuckled, looking at the chat, "Yes, George is here today. Hypixel was down and we had nothing to do"

"Hi" George was unsure what to say, scratching his neck in awkwardness. It wasn't this weird when he was streaming. At least then they had a plan and chat was relatively easy to read. He was doubtful that this call would end well, what with his ignorance to some innuendos and jokes involving DreamNotfound.

"We thought we would just pop on here. We're kind of bored." Dream stated, unable to see what people where spamming in the #podcast chat. "I can't see what you guys are saying, i'll probably just read my twitch chat."

Half an hour passed and George was getting hungry and bored, nothing eventful had really happened so far except for Dream explaining his setup and chat freaking out over his galaxy mouse pad.

"I want food but all that's in my fridge is butter... oh and the BTS sauces and... uhm expired milk" George complained, looking through his fridge while still on the call.

Dream chucked, "Why do you have expired milk in your fridge?"

"Not the point, I just want food"

"Well get some food then" Dream counteracted. George sighed and rolled his eyes, sitting back down in his chair. His stomach rumbled loudly, calling out to his hunger.

"I'm going to order McDonald's." And with that George muted his mic, found the McDonald's number and ordered his food, in the background, he could hear Dream.

"Should i do a quiz?... yeah? Link some in the podcast chat." There was a long silence. George, long ordered his food, stayed muted, listening to Dream talk to his chat. He found it so endearing the way Dream spoke to them, as though they where a family. His voice soft and gentle as he scrolled through the chat looking for a quiz.

"Ooh, this looks interesting... oh, 'Am I In Love With My Best Friend?'. Sounds... interesting" George stopped. Everything seemed to slow down. Eyes wide as he looked at the screen infront of him, Dreams discord icon lighting up as he chuckled nervously. He wasn't actually going to do it was he? The room was getting hot for George, he wasn't sure whether he wanted to delve into the idea of being in love with his best friend, let alone his best friend being in love with him.

He quickly unmuted, ready to call Dream out on what he was doing, but Dream beat him to it.

"George, i'm going to do the 'Am I In Love With My Best Friend?' quiz" He laughed, opening up the link and reading out the first question. "do you catch yourself looking at your best friend?"

George stalled. They had face timed multiple times in the past, Dream only letting George see his eyes upwards, but George always found it hard for him to look away. He got lost staring at his best friends eyes. George quickly messaged Dream asking for the link for the quiz, if Dream was going to do it, so would George.

"Dream, check dm's" He rushed.

"Huh, what, why?" Dream asked, busy trying to still his own heart beat. He had always known at the back of his mind that he had romantic feelings for George, whether that is because he was just touched starved and was desperate, or because he genuinely wanted more than just a friendship with George, suppressing his feelings as to not ruin anything between them.

"Just read it." George urged, getting apprehensive, unsure whether he should just delete the comment and over analyse everything Dream says.

But before he knew it, the link to the quiz had been sent to George, a small smiley face underneath it from Dream. George was about to reply with a '?' to the smile, but Dream spoke up again.

"I just put 'once in a while', i mean, it's not like im never looking at you but i don't do it like.. all the time." George clicked all the time. He couldn't get enough of Dreams warm amiable eyes. His eyes were a kind of green that speaks to the soul of nature, of fresh wands of grass and new buds, and his eyes were that bright colour, bold and beautiful.

"Right," he snickered, " next question, 'are they the first person you call when something happens?' uhm... yeah, i guess. But not always, i mean i would call my mom first." He laughed, ignoring the fact that George was silent. George always called Dream if something was wrong. He wasn't in contact with his parents, Sapnap wasn't the most mature when it came to serious things, yes he was a great friend and he would be there for George if he needed, but Dream came first. George put Dream before everyone, at time even before himself.

"George?" Dream disrupted his thoughts.

"Hmm?"

"You're being so quiet, everyone is asking if you're asleep" George looked at chat, Sure enough, between all the green and blue hearts, there where people spamming Georges name and sleep.

"Oh uhm no, it is 3 am though. Kind of tired." He said, anxiously looking at the next question, mouse already hovering over 'it's nice if i can'. George didn't wake up thinking about Dream, not always anyway. Just if they had fallen asleep on call together, or if they were recording a video that day.

"You should sleep." His voice had softened. He too was looking at the same question. Thinking about George staying up just for him made him feel giddy, but he also didn't want George to be sleep deprived.

George held back a smile. "I'm good, we're in sync bb" he snickered, knowing that would get a rise out of the chat. He could practically hear Dream roll his eyes in exasperation.

"Oh come on" He laughed, his voice low and raspy as he started to read out the next question. He couldn't get through it without laughing, however. "'Do you get jealous if he or she has a boyfriend or girlfriend?' Oh come on! I mean..." He started, George's scoff cut him off. "What?" Dream laughed.

"Nothing" George giggled

"To be fair.. no, but... i mean, wouldn't anyone?"

"Not really." George counteracted.

"Well, no. But! But! But! It would be one of those things where it's like, awe, now he's gonna be spending time, like, doing that, instead of like, with us. Like with like, me and sap. So, I'll put maybe a little. Right? Maybe a little.?" Dream stuttered, trying to defend his reasoning while George just giggled at his flusteredness.

George had already clicked 'ugh its the worst' already. He remembered when Dream had told him Sapnap was moving in with him. Now, George knew his best friends. He knew there was nothing going on between Dream and Sapnap, but something about them living together tickled George the wrong way. He was pissed off, to say the least. George wasn't normally jealous, but when it came to Dream, he became a different person. He almost didn't want to share Dream with anyone else... George wanted Dream all to himself.

"Dream, no one is arguing with you..." George whispered endearingly, a small smile painted across his lips.

The next few questions were uneventful. Dream still defended his answers despite no body calling him out on them. The chat was a blur of left ear jokes and and blue and greens. George answered 'yes' on the majority of the questions.

" Do you have dreams about them? Im- Okay! That's unfair, like, oh my god. Okay, I'll put sometimes." Dream rushed, desperately wanting to move onto the next question. He didn't want to tell chat, and especially George, about the dreams he has. No body knew about the desperation Dream has when he dreams about George. The want and longing to touch George in many ways than one. The heartache Dream feels when he wakes up because he knows the happiness his feels in his dreams could never be recreated.

"What?" George once again giggled. He was starting to have fun now. Seeing Dream embarrassed made George feel slightly better about his answers, but at this rate he was afraid the quiz would tell him he's so hopelessly in love with his best friend that there was no hope for him. "What do you dream about me?"

"You- you've had- you're- you're an idiot, you've had dreams! You've had one hundred pe- you've told me about dreams you've had!" He stammered, struggling to get his words out correctly without revealing too much. He was starting to get hot, the air conditioning in his room seemed to do nothing, the 'GNF' jumper he was wearing was suffocating him. He was suddenly finding it hard to breath under the weird pressure of these questions he had no obligation answering.

"What type of dreams, hmm?" George teased. He had his head resting in his hands leaning on the desk, taking in everything Dream was saying. George, of course had clicked 'all the time' about dreaming about Dream. Dream was on his mind 24/7.

"Oh don't even start with me, i know you've had dreams about me. You told me you've like.. texted me in your dreams or something. You.. you definitely have, anyway..." The two argued for the next few questions, and it was all smooth sailing for both Dream and George, until it came to the big one. The one that caused George to almost throw up the McDonald's that he had eaten a half hour ago.

Dream went silent. George could almost hear Dreams heart beating through the mic. He knew why, too. He saw the question. George had been dreading this. He chose to stay silent, not wanting to draw attention to himself.

"Do you ever think about what it would be like to kiss your best friend?" Dream was silent for almost thirty seconds. He felt sick. The amount of times he had wondered what Georges lips felt like. Whether or not they were made for him. Perfectly molded to fit Dreams own. He dreamt about them constantly. The soft touch of lips. He was beyond salvageable. "Uhm, n-no. Of course not."

"Why did you take so long to answer?" George was apprehensive. He wondered whether Dream thought about kissing him as much as he did. George so desperately wanted to, he wanted to feel them on his own lips, wanted to know what Dream tasted like, how he smelt. He was forlorn.

"I'm just going to put, well... i'm going to put.. well there's no good answers. I'm just going to put 'yes but it would be like kissing my mom'". He lied, his mouse had been hovering over 'at least a few times a day', unsure whether to click it or not, but he knew the truth. He wanted to kiss George more than he ever wanted to do anything ever.

The rest of the quiz, George kept silent. If he opened his mouth, he would confess his love on the spot. He had finished all the questions, revealing a 32%. He was totally in love with his best friend. Desperately, pathetically and hopelessly in love. He needed help.

"Okay, last question" Georges ears pricked up at this, he was happy it was almost over. He needed to talk to Dream in private, even if it killed him. "Do you see them in your future?... of course. A lot of my future is your future. I don't want a future without you in it..." Dream whispered, muting his physical mic so that no one could hear his breath leave his body. That was the most intimate he had probably ever been with George in front of fans. He hoped he hadn't just messed anything up.

George still stayed silent. Dreams answer made him almost cry with happiness. He couldn't imagine a future without Dream.

Dream un-muted his mic to finish up the quiz, "It says, you are in love with a few things about your best friend, so it's likely that you could fall entirely in love with them if you... if things keep up the way they are right now." George was unsure of what to say. Chat was once again asking if he was asleep. Both boys took no notice. Almost silently, so silently George almost missed it. But he held his breath, staring at the monitor with fear. All colour had drained from his face. He was about to pass out.

"If.. if you're worried they don't feel the same way... you're going to have to find out how to shut your feelings off, you don't want to ruin what you have."... no one talked for a couple seconds... both of them waiting for the other to say something, until George plucked up the courage.

"I don't want to ruin anything, Dream."

George loved Dream, and Dream was sure he loved George.

JUNO

First impression: i, like a lot of people who get into the podcast without knowing a great deal about it, was expecting at most an ambiguously bisexual angst machine with a closely-guarded heart of gold. juno being an explicitly bisexual genderqueer angst machine is perhaps the most pleasant surprise of my life. the angst machine heart of gold characters were kind of my type at the time, so i loved him right away

Impression now: every time i think about juno’s arc from depressed mess held together by bad coping mechanisms, safety pins, and a few good strong puns into someone who can talk about his feelings, feel comfortable about being happy, and recognise when he needs to change, i want to cry about it a little bit. the depth of my love for juno steel has only grown along with him

Favourite moment: juno has a lot of great one-liners and i’m still a big fan of the “on the other hand i wasn’t wearing a watch” bit and who can forget such classics as juno finally deciding to stop moping over nureyev and move on only for him to open the door to his apartment and find nureyev sitting in the dark dramatically, but honestly nothing will ever hit me harder than his sudden, pissed-off declaration of “i can’t die yet, i still have shit to do!” in promised land. god.

Idea for a story: oh i have so many and i want to write most of them so no spoilers, but juno accidentally kidnaps a baby during a carte blanche heist and shenanigans ensue

Unpopular opinion: obviously we all know he’s dummy thicc but i feel like a lot of people forget he’s an actual genius, like the stuff he notices and how he strings it together is sometimes so obscure and he’s almost always right. oh, also juno is not skinny and i will not be taking criticism on that

Favourite relationship: this is so tough because every dynamic is so good, but i think it has to be juno and rita. those two are so good! the best best friends in the world!! i’m really a sucker for any dynamic that’s ridiculously in-sync so i loved these two as soon as juno saw rita’s notes in prince of mars and went “makes perfect sense to me” (which it probably didn’t, because rita, but he trusted that she knew what she was doing which is the important part)

Favourite headcanon: this isn’t really a headcanon but i still think about how juno is (was?) deathly afraid of heights but when he heard rex glass coming he still attempted to climb out of the window. either his aversion to working with dark matters/other people in general was so strong is overrided his fear, or his office was actually on the ground floor. not sure which of these is funnier.

NUREYEV

First impression: we’ve all seen the memes about nureyev knowing juno steel for one (1) day and deciding to Risk It All by leaving him with his name, look at this Hopeless Romantic, this utter DISASTER of a homosexual. the fact the very next time we hear from nureyev (at least directly) he’s patiently waiting in juno’s dark apartment to surprise him with a heist definitely supports this image.

Impression now: even after literally being inside peter’s head, i feel like we didn’t get a real sense of who he is until man in glass, where we find out he aggressively compartmentalises everything that causes him stress. he’s also distinctly someone who’s had his heart broken before, i think, which makes those first appearances of his very strange. but it does remind me of what juno says about diamond, and how he decided to provide the trust first and wait for the trustworthiness to grow in (only to get severely hurt), and i think that’s exactly what nureyev did. i am also... very uneasy with how suspicious he’s behaving this season because obviously i want to believe he’ll sort it all out and not betray the crew but... oof

Favourite moment: the beginning of what lies beyond pt1 where he’s affectionately bullying juno into taking care of himself? cleared my crops watered my skin etc etc etc

Idea for a story: i’d love to hear more about his past as a young thief idolising buddy and vespa (i can’t actually remember if that’s canon or fanon but anyway i wanna read it!)

Unpopular opinion: i think people often cling to an image of him that more resembles his first impressions in season 1 instead of seeing the depth that we’ve been given about his character in season 3

Favourite relationship: him and juno but honestly it’s a close call between them and his budding friendship with rita. even though she learned it by accident, his name is still a point of intimacy and it’s one less secret to keep around her which has to be a weight off his shoulders, at least a little? they seem like they could be really good friends once ultrabots is out of the way. juno steel love (and also bullying) zone activates whenever they’re together

Favourite headcanon: i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again - nureyev has never done a household chore in his goddamn life. he doesn’t know the water needs to be hot when you wash dishes.

RITA

First impression: honestly i’m not sure? i don’t remember having a big awareness of her in murderous mask but i remember loving her “note-taking” in prince of mars, i thought she sounded really fun and cute

Impression now: rita is really fun and cute, she’s also an extremely hardworking and dedicated woman who had the guts to throw in with a detective fired from the force and then invest all of her time and money into helping him help people.

Favourite moment: Rita Gets A Knife. enough said

Idea for a story: i don’t know honestly! i really struggle to write rita because her thought processes are so wild and i don’t think any story i could come up with would match mega ultrabots of cyberjustice.

Unpopular opinion: this shouldn’t be unpopular because juno steel himself shares this opinion but all future-jupeter headcanons are incomplete without rita also being a huge part of their lives

Favourite relationship: rita + franny 4ever obviously.. jk it’s juno & rita have you heard rita minute 3 they’re too adorable for this world. im still Soft over their conversation at the end of soul of the people when he said he couldn’t stay in hyperion anymore but he wouldn’t leave with the carte blanche if rita wasn’t coming because he was done leaving her behind, and she threw out all her hesitations on the spot and said call the big guy. speaking of, rita & jet are a close second. instant best friends i love them.

Impression now: jet sikuliaq is one of the dearest characters to me out of anything ever. he is a huge, menacing, polite, kind, sincere man who i would very much like to give me a hug. he’s the best aro ace in outer space and while being generally very levelheaded and straightforward, also takes every opportunity to fuck with juno because it’s very easy and very hilarious to him personally. he is everything my autistic acearo ass needed and i’m so glad to have him

Favourite moment: all of them every single one. him putting juno in the trash is of course a classic and every moment jet chooses to be funny makes my heart happy, but also every piece of genuine advice he gives. i’m a particular fan though of buddy recounting her years in the lighthouse and him saying he became concerned when she didn’t come downstairs at the usual time. “you took the door off its hinges.” “i was deeply concerned.” king of understatement

First impression: it’s been a minute since i relistened to time gone by but i’m pretty sure the first thing she ever says in the podcast is sliding up to depressed accidental whiskey thief juno and say “that’ll be ten million creds,” scaring the shit out of him, so needless to say i was in love instantly.

Impression now: my love for buddy aurinko has only grown and if it sounds like i already said that in this post it’s because i did about juno and it’s appropriate because the parallels are astounding. the heart of it all gave us such depth to buddy’s internal monologue and why she always sounds like she knows exactly what to say and what that’s like and honestly will i ever be over the heart of it all as an episode? unlikely. i think i’m gonna have a little piece of it in MY heart forever.

Favourite moment: everything she’s ever said is iconic as hell i especially like “in an impressive fit of hubris i’ve decided not to prepare my words for this vow” which made me laugh out loud but once again i must give it up for her iconic “I WANT TO LIVE” moment. honourable mentions to her taking rita out for ice cream and giving juno shooting lessons while she’s in her actual wedding gown. i love her

Favourite relationship: once again, although buddy and vespa invented romantic love, i just love the dynamic between vespa and juno so much. they’ve come so far with each other and their weird sibling dynamic gives me life. at the end of what lies beyond when juno says “we’re not gonna kill her, vespa” and instead of sounding full of Rage and Suspicion she’s like “whyyy notttt?” and he’s like “because i said so!” and that’s just good enough for her even if she’s a bit grumpy about it. i love it.

ok but like bc i like to make myself suffer - i think she would’ve been friends with rantaro’s sister in school and like, comforted her during all of 52. himiko auditioned for 53 as like a joke but when she got in their friendship ended bc it felt like a betrayal to amami’s sister. angery.

she also has a weird relationship with amami bc she knew him from before, but pre 52 is not the same as post 52. she’s also like, one of the few people to treat rantaro as a normal person, so he appreciates that. he might ask questions about how his sister was going and himiko would be honest that it really fucked her up, but now, two people she loved are going on the show. so that’ll be worse.

when they’re both out of the game afterwards they spend a lot of time with rantaro’s sister, just making sure she’s ok. they both really goofed it up. but they gotta try to recover.

also bc i like to make myself suffer - p much her only friend in the pg like, photoshoots and prep time (prob a month) was korekiyo bc they were the two seminormal people who didn’t wat to be there. she was there bc she lacked all meaning, and kork was there to run away from home. i could see kork legitimately being interested in what himiko is learning and she could give them like, tarot readings or stuff. they made promises about how they’d stay friends and work together to make it out and teach people that you don’t have to be violent to win. 

when she gets out she remembers all these memories of their time together and the promises they made. maybe evne finds some photos or videos of the two of them together on her phone. she cries a lot for lost friendship/time

i do think their friendship would recover with a lot of therapy and time. but i’m talking a LOT of therapy and time.

related, i don’t think himiko can be friends with angie after the betrayals in dr, she’d stay friends with tenko, but have to set hard boundaries. i honestly realy hate tenko and himiko as a couple for the same reason i hate souda and sonia as a couple.

I know he is a great player and I can see that the games I've been watching, but I'm too new in this scene and some written help would be awesome. First of all take as much time as you need to work up your courage, I get being anxious, but I swear I’m nice even off anon!! Second of all I LOVE Nursey in like one million different ways. Okay and then finally to address your main question, I had to tap into the Big Hockey Brain that belongs to Mara* (@MaraBowden on twitter) because she is THE statistics gal in the Chick Trick Podcast & Website! (CTP twitter link, CTP Website) Also I’m sorry this is gonna be all over the place.

[*Mara’s analyses are based on solely Nolans time in the NHL, mine are based off of his time in the WHL and the NHL]

Okay let’s get started.

The first thing I notice is how focused he is on ice and during games. In his mic’d up videos he’s always talking about what plays could be made next depending on what the opposing players do, which is another thing

He pays attention to what other guys do, on his team and on other teams, what their typical move is, he reads people and plays REALLY very well which is a great skill to have.

That all being said his hockey IQ is, unsurprisingly, high and it’s a skill, according to his dad and uncle-both former players and coaches, he has had since he was kid (x)

He has a very solid, strong shot. From Mara (paraphrased by me): He has a good shot location, consistently put up above average xG numbers (this means expected goals) likely due to the good shot location. He mainly shoots directly in front of the net and from the slot (the slot is the space between the attacking teams faceoff circles) Outside of good shot placement there isn’t much statistically that pops out about him because he has only played 2 NHL seasons and neither of them were the full 82 games. (this part is word for word) “[B]ut I watched some highlights and routinely was like ‘bro that was sick’ which makes me think he’ll figure stuff out more in the future[.]” (Heat map of his shot placement x)

This speaks more to his character but he’s very respectful towards his teammates and coaches (TK doesn’t count, neither does Hak) 

He isn’t afraid to put pressure on opponents, especially when battling for the puck!! You can see that he wants it and he’s gonna do what has to be done to get it.

He’s pretty physical for a forward, and definitely isn’t afraid to get into it with another player when they piss him off (*Paris hilton voice* that’s hot)

Watching him stick and puck handle, he’s quick, precise, and efficient. And not to like uwu babie him but he does this thing when he scores where he like “holsters” his stick after he scores and I swear it's so fucking CUTE (he does a bit of handling AND celly-ing in this video here x)

Also, because I have to bring this up, his absence from the Flyers this year wasn’t his first run in with a long term injury in his career (sports hernia, out 3 mos in WHL), and he handled that situation with maturity and level-headedness and I believe he’ll handle his current injury in the same way.

I have noticed that when he’s having a good game and he’s got the swagger everyone saw in Brandon that hes very steady, focused and one or two steps ahead of the game which is where he gets those absolute beautiful goals.

Last bit of stuff here; He follows through on everything he does hockey-wise. Hits, plays, and shots. And he’s extremely vocal, as I mentioned with his teammates he can be heard on the ice, off the ice on the bench, and in practice as well, so he definitely has so much potential to be an all-star and maybe even make people rethink his placement in the draft...... :)

(Also warning for spoilers for the new got episode) K so this time I thought I'd split my thoughts up by storyline that works I think ok here we go Arya: - yessssss my sweet child kill them all God that was so satisfying - ED SHEERAN - um excuse me arya why are you going south your family is north - also don't kill Ed Sheeran he's a good guy - ok I now ship arya and ed sheeran I wasn't expecting that and yet here we are - I mean let's face it gendry's never coming back Winterfell: - guess who's STILL PISSED THAT JON IS RULING INSTEAD OF SANSA - um all offence but littlefinger can fuck off and die - I would just like to say that Jon is a True Feminist™ - hhhhhh Jon, babe, darling, sweetie, I agree with your decision but NOT HOUW YOURE GOING ABOUT IT WHY ARE YOU SUCH A FOOL - like, look, this definitely seems like more of a 'Jon is here as king of the north and giving out orders' type meeting rather than a 'let's have a discussion about what to do next' type meeting - and I don't know how many of these decisions he discussed beforehand with which people but he clearly didn't discuss the forgiveness one with Sansa beforehand WHICH IS REALLY FUCKING STUPID - 1. Sansa has more right to rule than Jon (I'm still so mad that this was never even brought up at any point) so even if Jon is ruling Sansa should still have a great deal of influence. 2. Are we forgetting that Sansa was raped and tortured by Ramsay not even that long ago and so just might be disinclined to offer forgiveness to the people who helped him do so (yes I know it wasn't them it was their families and like I said I agree with Jon's decision but I can definitely understand Sansa view on this and Jon should definitely have been able to foresee her opposition to the idea) - what this means is that now the only way for her to bring up her opposition to this idea is to publicly disagree with him; the only other way would be to bring it up afterwards and if she managed to change his mind he'd then have to reverse his decision, making him look weak - and like??? Obviously it's not good for them to publicly disagree and Sansa has got to know this with the amount of time she's spent around people like Cersei, Margaery, Littlefinger, Olenna, etc. but it's the only way for her to bring up her quite reasonable disagreement and even apart from political concerns it would be the decent thing to do to at least warn her beforehand that she's going to have to act friendly and forgiving with the family of the people who helped/endorsed Ramsay rape and torture her. - to be fair to Jon I think this is more the show doing the classic 'we'll show the rape and torture of women for shock value and then never mention the effects that would have on them later' than his actual character BUT GODDAMNIT IM PISSED JUSTICEFORSANSA2k17 (that doesn't involve some bullshit manufactured excuse for her to actively oppose and harm Jon which is clearly what they're going for and I will not stand for it) - on that note can we please see Sansa dealing with the mental repercussions of what she's been through? Like, look, if you want to show these horrible things - fine. I don't like it, but fine. But at least show the recovery/the effects of said horrible things. Don't just act like it never happened. Either give Sansa a confidante (probs Brianne) and show them trying to work through these problems together or show the effects of not talking to anyone about what she's gone through just ACKNOWLEDGE THE LONG-TERM IMPACTS OF WHAT RAMSAY (and Joffrey and Cercei and Littlefinger and Lysa and SO MANY PEOPLE) DID TO HER GODDAMNIT - sort of jumping off that but seriously Jon do you not think that Sansa might have a perfectly good reason for being a tad more concerned with the enemies that she has met, that have personally cause her a great deal of harm (not that this piece of garbage show would ever acknowledge that harm), that she knows than some nebulous, uncertain, vague threat that she's only ever heard of in stories. I mean, which do you think is going to seem more pressing and real to her. Not to mention that she's actually right - sure, it would be great if everyone could band together to fight the White Walkers. If there was a chance of Cersei agreeing to this I'd 100% agree that difficult as it may be the right thing to do would be to put revenge behind them and focus on the real threat. Unfortunately, there's no fucking way Cersei would agree to it meaning that you are going to have to fight her whether you like it or not. Not to mention, you're going to have a difficult time defending the North from any enemy with only Northern armies and Northern supply chains - I'd start making allies quick. I mean, yeah, they're going to ally with Dany but they don't know that yet so my point still stands. - much satisfaction with the murder of Littlefinger I mean destroyed King's Landing: - honestly I relate with Jaime so much. Cersei please stop - this alliance is a terrible idea although I appreciate euron's sense of humour he is hilarious and so are Jamie's reactions - I am??? So worried??? About this gift???? What is he going to do someone please stop this man Bran: - REUNION REUNION REUNION REUNION Sandor: - these philosophical discussions should be a Goddamned podcast - OH SHIT it's the family!!! I mean, idk if it's just me but I don't accept the idea that there is an actual God directly responsible for events in any kind of fiction (which is weird cause I do in real life but...idk I'm more cynical with fiction) - magical, powerful beings that may as well be gods? Sure. But God? No. So, like, this might sound crazy but my theory is that the Lord of Light has something to do with the Night King. Idk it's just a hunch. Sam: - clearly the maesters are fans of karate kid - also where is the 'they're taking the hobbits to isengard' video of this montage - mr archmaester there are so many things wrong with your argument idek where to start - Sam have you not watched Philosopher's Stone THERE ARE BLOODY TERRIFYING SCREAMING BOOKS IN THE RESTRICTED SECTION - oh thank God he made it out ok I would honestly have been less scared if he was trying to sneak past a den of White Walkers I have a deep-seated fear of authority - yay, there's the excuse for our heroes to meet. Thanks plot I mean Sam Dany: - EXCUSE ME BUT WHERE ARE ASHA (I refuse to call her yara) AND THEON - so the doors are just...unlocked? And...the entire castle is...completely empty. No one's there. At all. ...ok then - well that was an entirely pointless scene that did nothing for the narrative Overall: -well that was an entirely pointless episode that did nothing for the narrative - joking, but also serious. It mainly felt like a really long trailer? I mean other than the first scene with Arya and I guess Jon and Sansa arguing it was all...pointless. This was an entire episode of set-up which I'm really annoyed about because my dad can't watch this episode till Monday and I was really looking forward to holding spoilers over his head
