I'm okay accepting the fact that being lgbt is a bit of a trend right now because people are absolutely scrambling for an identity after the pandemic messed with everyone's heads. People just want to know who they are, but there's gotta be some kind of extreme emphasis on it since 2020; multiple people i know have snapped and borderline begged me to define them as a person, and i know one person who feels the need to let EVERYONE know he wants to be associated with liking ketchup. like, liking ketchup as a personality trait. brings it up every single time we eat out, like yes, okay, you can be the ketchup guy, nobody's coming to take your spot ur okay
