I almost wanted to say I'm surprised that you've never heard of a MAP, but I realize that I guess they can be kinda niche jfnfjfnd BUT if you're curious, it stands for "Multi Animator Project" and they're basically big collabs between a number of animators with a specific theme/script, where each person animates to a section of a song, then when they're done it all gets put together!! They've been around for a while, since some time in the early 2010s I believe, and I believe the Warrior Cats fandom is what started them, and warrior cats MAPs are definitely the most common and well known ones, but other fandoms have made some too, plus there's ones for OCs or ones where the animator can choose what media they want to do!!

Ohhh OK I kinda guessed what it was based on like the context of your post but that's really cool! I'll be honest I think I'd seen MAP before but I'd just never really come across it properly 😅

Anywaysss I don't typically write about my Micheal/my guitarhero au so here is some lore dropping/info (very based off colors of the wind)

So for my au, I'd like to make it where Micheal is no knowledge of eden or math in general. Unlike Lucifur, who had directly been involved in the creation of Eden, Micheal had guarded the walls of Eden only. He had very little interest in the project due to it being entirely separate from heaven.

They -life on earth- were, to him, inferior. Earth is destined to change. Yes, heaven changes to, but not as much as the dramatic way earth does.

Living beings are not born in the know, made to start from scratch. They are made to learn. Mistakes and stumbles were to be expected.

Angels also learn, but they are created to have all the knowledge they need to stay independent. Very rarely do they ever have to ask.

Basically, new gen angels get an automatic system upgrade from the older angels, while the older ones need to follow up.

Lilith and Adam were born able to speak, but they had to learn about heaven and the garden on their own or be deliberately taught. And their eventual children will have to come into the earth and learn, mind bare and maleable

They were made to be guided while angels typically don’t need any guidance at all. Which is why Micheal does not care for life on earth- it struggles and is not optimal.

It is simply another pet project that God had made that would eventually die out (the dinosaurs)

Micheal doesn't willingly go into the garden until he spots his brother sneaking in when they were supposed to be off duty. He rushes after him to take him back and chastise him until he meets Adam on his search.

They talk and stuff the first night and micheal eventually finds himself wandering into the garden on his own free will.

Now, he still thinks the garden is weird and takes interest in only Adam. Hes a bit vocal about it when Adam shows him an animal and plant. Micheal asks him why it's so important or so precious. He simply does not understand. He does on a level understand it’s textbook level significance, but emotionally

This is kinda where the learning part comes in

Adam explains to him that life, beyond just him is precious. And beyond him it’s the beautiful world around him. Not just the inherent beauty, but the beauty of just being, growing, and existing.

Essentially they have a ‘colors of the wind’ moment where Adam tells (I guess sings if we're thinking on a musical standpoint) Micheal that Eden is equally as beautiful as heaven and that they are both equals in respect. That there is so much that Eden has to offer. Micheal slowly comes to understand it as he tries to have more of an open mind to creation other than just being a project.

So Micheal joins Adam as they explore Eden together. Micheal helps him reach places than Adam couldn’t have seen alone. They talk about theories or their ideas on why certain things grow and form that way. Micheal finds an appreciation for life on earth and growth, and that maybe things aren’t so bad if they’re stagnant. He falls in love with earth. And without realizing it he also falls in love with Adam.

It’s supposed to like a parallel to Lucifer and Lilith

Lucifer meets Lilith and teaches her about Eden and other knowledge which makes her interested in the world outside of Eden

Micheal meets Adam and Adam teaches him about Eden, making him interested in the world inside of Eden

sangyeop would probably put you through some emotions like he'd be singing his heart out to you and after hes done he'd be his usual bright cheery self acting like he didn't just make you cry from his pretty voice

wonsang 100% gonna write an admiration song about you like he did with holly LMAO and would poke fun at your habits or your relationship together, would prob sound like an anime opening too CAUSE HES WONSANG <//3 (my bias rly showing through damn why do i have so many thoughts abt this) but knowing how many songs he writes he'd prob have a range as well with some sadder or just more emotional romantic songs

gwangil is gonna write you the cutest and most heartwarming song ever just like his song would you dance with me !! i feel like hes really into the bright and fun side of love and while his voice is rly suited for slower softer songs, he would want to make you smile with his song, not cry so he'd stray away from that vibe skdjks

Seeing the photos from their schedules really made it hit home that he isn't there. Stoppp it hadn't even occurred to me that we won't be getting ot4 comeback for a while. I do hope that Wonsang goes soon, but you're right he's probably busy working on stuff that they can put out while he's gone. That would make most sense anyway. I think he'd maybe go around Dec/early next year? I'd imagine they'd want him to be there for award show season if they perform and then he'd go after that? I really hope Yechan and Sangyeop put out music or at least just do schedules while the others are away. Alot of the videos that I had seen when villain came out were just Yechan and Sangyeop, so I wasn't sure if that was them preparing us for how it will be over the next couple of years lol. I think they'll continue to thrive even as a duo, isn't N.Flying still doing well despite being down 3 members? (I haven't kept up to date with them, so I genuinely don't know. Wonsang's song for Holly was so cute oh my goodness. Another song like domino would be so funny. It's such a funny song, especially with the intro ahaha. Maybe he would put funny sound bites from videos of you both in the intro, from clips of you doing the most stupid things (but he finds it endearing because he is so in love with you). Oh and the bit between the verse and chorus could be him listening off things that he loves about you (in his really cute voice 🥺)

I feel like Gwangil would write such a goofy song. I definitely think he would be able to write a really emotional song like Sangyeop, but he's not gonna show you that yet (he's waiting for the right moment because he's going to ask for your hand after, I need to stop lol). I could see it being a really cheesy song or one that's filled with stupid puns because he knows that you hate them but you love him and he's going to be annoying about it. I love how you said that he's "into the bright and fun side of love", I definitely agree with that. Generally we speak in Bahasa Indonesia here as it's considered to be the main language, but in many areas of my country, there tend to be dialects exclusive to that zone like the Javanese dialect or Sundanese dialect. where did the inspiration for cat!dave come from. i love it btw, im just curious where it came from

catdave, like a lot of stuff in the gf3 prologue, just sort of happened. it's one of those things where in writing that chapter, jade grabbed a button that did a thing as a way to keep their villain-narrator honeypot from collapsing, and i decided to roll with it. turning dave into a house cat seemed like a fun gag, especially considering awkweet purrmusk and davepeta and all that. karkat picking up catdave with horror and protectiveness was really funny to me, just like NO HE'S MY BOYFRIEND YOU LEAVE MY SPECIAL MAN ALONE. then i thought, wait, what if a cat had time-distortion powers. what if catdave was like, i'm the hottest fucken kitty that ever did strut, i'ma slow down time and make everyone admire me. that joke alone was enough to keep catdave in, and i figured okay, we'll roll with this for a minute and then reverse it at the end and it'll be a funny anecdote. "hey remember that time dave turned into a cat?"

but unfortunately for dave, this is godfeels. i can't ever just do a fun joke about transformation. if we're gonna accept that jade has a button that can turn people into the animal they secretly want to be, that's gotta have CONSEQUENCES. what is this, fucking rick & morty??? there will be no resetting to the status quo at the end of THIS episode thank you very much!

of course by the time i got to publishing that first catdave chapter i'd figured all this out. dave's sort of defined by his repression and embarrassment at himself and his wants. i've imagined him sticking to his "i don't want to be a hero" thing very closely, and with that just kinda chilling with karkat all the time. (oh there's actually a funny pseudo-continuity error related to this-- in gf1 someone mentions what makes dave and karkat such a good couple. i'd imagined then that davekat were absolutely a totally out gay together couple. then the epilogues said actually no they were still too repressed to actually DO anything, and i decided to lean into that because two incredibly gay men no-homoing together for seven years is really funny/tragic to me from a story perspective. and since i decided to make gf2 parallel the epilogues, it seemed appropriate to fold that back in. i think in gf2 this gets papered over with june being surprised that they hadn't kissed yet? but that's def a thing that changed between fics from my perspective lmao)

so it seemed to me that catdave was a minor analogue to trickster mode- an unexpected jump straight to Personal Apotheosis without the journey necessary to give it any meaning. and that quickly mapped onto the problem of out queer people treating obvious eggs like their own Pet Project, pressuring them and pushing their boundaries even when it IS to some extent what they want. so dave keeps his cat ears and tail because he's a closeted furry with Some Gender, but because his friends all thought the transformation was funny and cute the end result was actually pushing him even further back into the closet. and since i knew that we were aiming towards davekat divorce fever anyway, that felt like the *perfect* dramatic intervention on his character. this is the hardest part of building an ensemble cast drama; giving everyone something Clear and Concise to deal with that can stand in for all their problems, so we can cut right to the chase when necessary.

this process is, in microcosm, the fundamental backbone of godfeels. it's about taking deadly seriously the personal and existential ramifications of extraordinarily silly impossible bullshit.

Lucifer is also typically an artistic person, despite not being very good at certain forms of art. He'd constantly ask you for drawing advice. He'd also probably give you a bunch of the stuff he makes. If you were to ever paint/draw him, he'd love you even more than before somehow.

Lucifer also likes collecting things. He's the type of partner to see a shiny rock and give it to you because it reminds him of you. And, he'd definitely get you things for your collections all the time.

Due to Lucifer being able to change into animals, he'd love the fact that you like animals and take advantage of it. If you were ever painting and he wanted your attention, I'm pretty sure he'd just turn into a cat and crawl onto your lap.

1. how would you describe your art style? uhhhhhhhh, maybe "safe" is the word rn. whenever I think of my art style, what comes to mind is just how little I've been pushing things with it. I wanna change that ;D

2. what's your favorite thing about your style? I realize I like to use semi-realistic proportions, its cool how comfortable I've gotten with drawing faces and bodies

It's so static man. same thing I said for the first question, I don't think anything really looks bad, but it just is lacking in creativity in comparison to the older art that should be looking worse than what I do now. I prefer my older stuff ;D (looking at you inktobertale2021.. where did it all go wrong)

4. favorite thing to draw? regular ol people. human characters are def more in my comfort zone, which explains why I keep hitting skeletons with the humanization ray (also I prefer to draw feminine characters)

5. least favorite thing to draw? I can't even say I rlly dislike it cuz of how rarely I even do it, but I am procrastinating so hard on learning backgrounds..

6. warm colors or cool colors? cool colors are my fav, but i find it easier to work with warm ones (I used to put a cool overlay over all my warm toned drawings hgdhfg)

🐝🐝 It's been a while since I made this blog and I haven't actually written anything, even tho that's its purpose.

So instead of doing research on stuff for my Hazbin Hotel OC, let's start building a story.

First is the magic system:

Seeing as I am a bee an animal lover, let's have it revolve around that.

I've had the idea of an mha oc who can manipulate their dna, which they mostly use to copy animalistic traits, so let's take that and give it a name - Mimics.

Mimics are people who are capable of replacing parts of themselves with a human-sized version of a body part from a specific animal. If you don't have that body-part you still have to get rid of something.

An example could be... Let's say there's a mantis-shrimp mimic. Now obviously no bee no human owns a claw, so to have its "ballers" you need to still get rid of something, like a leg. This is great for combat if you're going for a kick: the added momentum of your leg + the release of the "latch muscle" + the now human size of it, even without cavitation it'd still be incredibly strong. Not sure how strong but I'm guessing "bone-breaking" strong. (Not to mention you could use it to jump really high.)

Next let's give an alternative, like another school of magic.

What if you could control the animals instead. They can be called - Tamers.

Tamers are people who can very clearly control animals. But like mimics, it's a specific animal. But they still need something that can make them useful...

Humans...

Humans are animals too, so what if we had a Human tamer as an antagonist.

Obviously Mimics are seen as stronger, so they might be people who are praise, while the Tamers are more often than not shunned, they main uses are being farmers and pest/animal control.

More on that another time.

I think it'd be less mind-control and more... persuasion. You're capable of speaking to that species, and yes you are naturally more persuasive, but you need to practice to get better. Maybe at some point you could be able to influence their thoughts and commonsense, make them think it's their own thoughts when really you're responsible for that. idk.

Now let's figure out how people get these powers.

As I've (hopefully) stated before, not everyone is a Mimic/Tamer. So it'd be a good idea to think of how people can become one.

Obviously there has to be a reason as to why not everyone is one.

Maybe it's like X-men and only some people are mutants... no

Maybe it's only neurodivergent people... I'll save that for another time, maybe.

You know how the greek gods have symbols?

And what about clerics? Their power is bestowed upon them by the divine.

What if it's like that? Somehow interacting with the symbol of the animal gives you either Mimicry or Tamer-ry. Like bathing in honey like it's the river styx. not sure if you'd survive, but you'd def need a bath after.

And it'd make sense how the antagonist is the only human tamer ever, coz no one knows what the symbol of humans are.

hmmmm, but then I'd have to come up with the symbol of so many things.

Bees could be honey sure.

Spiders might be webs

But what about bats?

Wolves?

Prey Mantis'?

Frogs?

Flies?

Too much work.

Maybe it works like chosen ones.

A god of Bees chooses... John Doe to represent the species, and by doing so, their descendants carry that power.

This could mean something about the society as well, being far more religious focused.

Maybe it used to be considered wrong for two chosen people to wed if they were not chosen by the same species?

Or perhaps if the descendant was born a Tamer, they couldn't be heir, and were used as a political puppet.

Ah yes, the two genders: Mimics and Tamers.

And what would happen when two different chosen ones wed? Would their children have one or both animals? maybe it'd make a hybrid?

And the chosen can be put in positions of higher power, like priests or nobles or kings.

A society built on power from the gods.

I'm an ENTP and 9w1! I have a lot of trouble properly expressing or understanding emotions due to my Autism but I try to battle that by being blunt and asking questions! Ahh I really like Animation, Horror, and Comedy shows/movies, especially analyzing them. I kind of want kids in the future? I'd be more willing if I trusted my partner with my Lows (hopefully they trust me with theirs too ofc) or if I could skip the baby part tbh. I really enjoy baking, reading, and video games, but I like physical activities when there's a sort of clear goal? Like playing Volleyball or Soccer, but not just a general run or jog. Everything he said was a direct response to what Ryuku, Crust, and Yoroi Musha said. As for the part where he goes, "Today's a turning point, so what I don't wanna hear-" which is made more obvious in another translation, "they're calling this a critical juncture, so why is it that you people-" which is a direct response to what the HPSC President said, and I just love the call-out. This and that time in 192 is the most we're getting out of him.

Bringing up Jeanist tells us a few things. Someone who hasn't been doing any work ranked higher than you, he's the most popular hero, knowing that, is that still what you want to focus on? If that was all that mattered, go ahead, go take a break too.

But it isn't all that matters, you have to put in the work. Endeavor has the most solved cases out of any hero, yet a ranking system relying on approval would put him at 4th, so what's more important, the work we put in or the adoration we chase? And that angry glare Endeavor gives at his "new ranking" laying it all out like this could be a subtle way to encourage him to be a bit more likeable, seeing as that's the other reason Hawks was doing all this. A few things going on. 1) Prep Endeavor for the Nomu fight in two days, 2) Give people a new Leader to believe in (not a new All Might, we don't need Symbols) 3) Keep up the Hawks Persona all while doing it to keep your real intentions hidden since nobody thinks deeper about you when you're like that + without putting your mission at risk since Dabi is likely watching 4) That whole speech was improvised on the spot after hearing what everyone else said. He was making faces while thinking of what to say and how to act so people would think that was all he was doing, it's whats shown outwards after all. 5) Slight jab at the HPSC President because why the hell not, what are they gonna do, complain when he gets results later? It's also kinda funny to me that he keeps himself at No.2 when the other thing he says is, "what I don't wanna hear, from the guys and gals below me." it's like he's saying he's the only one out of them who actually deserves his position, popularity and work in balance huh instead of popularity shifting it? "please speak more like real heroes" instead of people-pleasers because the HPSC wants a nice, proper formal event showing how shiny everything is despite calling it a "critical turning point" if that's the case, then why do we still cling to the old ways? funny coming from the guys who sounded sooo regretful about their old ways in the meeting in chapter 95.

I think you have me confused with someone else, I've never said this. When I have analyzed the scene, it's more on how Hawks is shown to be a master manipulator in this scene and as he responds to each hero. He's a "charismatic" hero, more like All Might than Endeavor in that regard, but he's not a fan of it, it seems. Anyway, the important thing is he actually set the stage for Endeavor not to fail.

Exactly. His whole goal was to make sure the only thing Endeavor could say after all that 1. had the most impact than anyone else 2. was minimal as possible. No apologies, no excuses, no promises to do better - just watch me. Gruff, to the point, etc - no chance to misconstrue his meaning. The best way to handle Endeavor.

Hook, line, sinker. Hawks played those awards, also came off as maverick for Dabi's purposes, bolstered himself (good for the HPSC), took a few potshots at the old system (where the HPSC can't complain much because he has 'reasons'), told the heroes under him to get their shit together and stop groveling for approval, and also made sure that Endeavor would have a reason to not storm home and approach him (and ofc set a stage up to get his ranking solid because we were told a few times that people were nervous about Enji becoming no. 1).

How frequently are you inclined to read, and how much?

I read quite a lot, but like with everything else in my life, I go through phases with it. Sometimes I'll read like three books in a week, and then I'll go months without reading anything. So it really depends.

When was the last time you questioned the direction your life was taking?

End of June/beginning of July. Work slowed down significantly, which means no money for a freelancer. I have my savings, but I started freaking out that I'd never get any work again, which would mean relying on my parents' money again, resulting in me staying in my hometown and dropping my German courses. All that would mentally fuck me up completely, so I'm glad I took a step to look for a different job and found something pretty good.

What small things have the ability to get under your skin?

When anyone tells me either "don't be so sensitive" or "you're so cold." For first, it's because I trained myself not to express my feelings and now, when I'm trying to break out of that a bit, there's nothing that sets me back more than that comment.

As for the second thing, I know I come across as cold and I try my best not to, but with some people it's just never enough.

When was the last time you were caused to be upset with someone?

Don't want to get too much into it, but I had a fight recently with my best friend.

What is something small that has the ability to cure a bad mood?

Run BTS for me. Seeing my boys backstab each other for snacks is therapeutic, to say the least.

So, as I said, I recently found a new job; similar to my previous one, but I still needed to adjust to new software and way of working. Tbh, it's been going really well, and I generally worry a lot about change beforehand, but when it comes to it, I have no problem adjusting.

Hmmm, I guess I feel a little out of it, or like my brain is all buzzed. But it's not so bad, since I literally work and live online at this point.

*spits my coffee* (/jk) OK, so, this one's hard so I had to think for a while, but for (high) fantasy anime with no romance or harem we have a few options:

Dungeon Meshi - you may have seen it in your dash, because Tumblr absolutely LOVES it. Comedy fantasy about an adventure party exploring a dungeon who lost a member of their group to a dragon and want to rescue them. They have no funds to go, though, so they start cooking and eating monsters in the way. Ppl like saying some of the mcs are coded as autistic and tbh I don't disagree. 10/10 beautiful artstyle, amazing worldbuilding, and top tier animation, same studio of Kill La Kill and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, if you know it.

Hunter X Hunter - i had actually forgot thid one as I raided my mind for anime that fit your description—which is funny because this one is A Classic and one of my forever favorites. It's about a boy whose father left him when he was a baby to become a sort of adventurer; what in this seting we call a Hunter. When he turns 12, he decided to go on a journey to find out what about being a hunter is so great that made his father leave him...by, of course, becoming a Hunter too. 11/10, amazing soundtrack and colors, the voice actors totally kill it (Maryia Ise, who acted Ray in The Promised Neverland is there two and her voice is just *mua*) and the story in general is beautiful. Quite the Battle Shounen too, if you may. It is also divided in two anime, the 1999 version and the 2011 version, which is longer and adapted more of the manga, and is also the most famous one. The first episode of HxH 1999 also has some lore exposition we don't get in the other version, so if you don't mind seeing the Ep 1 twice, I 100% recommend it. Also a banger bc of the platonic relationships.

Magi: The labyrinth of magic - literally nobody (hyperbole thats too close to reality) knows this anime but it's also one I really like. It is sorta inspired in the A Thousand And One Nights tales and is about a very very poor dude who one day finds this boy—this weird boy, who appears to have the powers of a top-tier magician; what in this setting we call a Magi. With his help, the guy decided to raid a 'dungeon' and gain the power of a Genie to conquer his dreams. 9/10, it's not that much of A Master Piece but it's a very good anime. It def loses points bc of some intersexist moments but if you can enjoy it despiste that its totally worth a shot. For me an element that truly shines on Magic is also its worldbuilding and especially the magic system. It's the most Hard magic system I've ever seen I think??? And it's just chef kiss.

The anime has about 2 seasons of good size, and I found it pretty enjoyable, but it doesn't adapt a huge part of the manga which is very frustrating, so I'd advise you to read the manga too, if you like manga or want to try.

There IS also some side plot romance between two of the supporting characters that starts about near the middle but it's not very Big but it may not 100% fit your order bc of that.

Magi: Sinbad no Bouken - The Diary of Sinbad is the spin-off of the main Magi series, and in my opinion it might be even better sometimes. The anime is way shorter than Magi (with what, 12 episodes?) so for this one i much more recommend the manga than the anime, BUT the anime is also good.

It tells the story of the son of a desceased fisherman named Simbad, who is recruited by the military service for a mission of cleaning a misterious building magicians have decided to call 'the dungeon'. Sinbad hates his homecountry's military, but when he finds out that who cleans it will have imensurable power and gold, he decides to go to heal his sick mother. Over the course of the story, Sinbad goes on a lot of adventures to make his goals a reality and its SUPER good.

Sinbad takes place 14 years before Magi and focuses more on the setting itself, not telling us much about the magic system and not focusing on it much like the main series does. This one got no romance from what I remember, and the cast is very endearing.

One Piece - another ABSOLUTE classic. This anime is famous because A. It started in 1997 (ish) and its still being released to this day. It's got like a thousand episodes (LITERALLY) by now? For reference about twice of Naruto Shippuden. And B. IT IS INSANELY EPIC. I haven't watched it myself but I know it's good and I also know there's no romo bc the author said in an interview i think that they don't want any characters to be involved romantically in any way. and he doesn’t only give like regular hugs, he loves all kinds of hugs

with my very limited knowledge on real pandas, they eat a lot, so they have a lot of body heat due to how much fat they have

panda would literally be a walking heater but also kinda function like a jacket because of the fur

his hugs are definitely on the like strong/secure side which can make whoever he's hugging feel very safe and secured

he wraps his arms completely surrounding the person and then hold one of his wrists to lock the hug so no one's going anywhere lmao, but yea getting hugged by his big arms would feel great

and he would relax his muscles when hugging so it doesn’t feel stiff or uncomfortable at all it’s just a big warm embrace

i also feel like if you hug him and he’s like super excited or has a lot of energy he’d def lift you up and like kinda spin you around lmao????

No pressure but I'd love to hear some more puppy tips! Im a recent totally independent adult and Id love to get a puppy at some point but def need some info before I take on the responsibility (I had no clue their bladder develops at 5 months even though Ive been researching which is why I wonder if you have any more tips)

sorry in advance bc this is gonna be a LOT of preamble, but any time you bring an animal into your home it’s a huge responsibility and requires a lot of preparation.

so in general i am a huge advocate for adopting adult animals, especially dogs — UNLESS you have very specific lifestyle requirements (like we do). we needed a dog that was good with cats, other dogs, AND toddlers… which is just not a thing you can easily find adopting through a shelter, especially not in our area (NYC residents snatch up all the dogs within like a 5 hour radius) and ESPECIALLY not after covid (when a ton of people adopted dogs). which meant we needed to get a puppy so we could train in the behavior we needed.

we knew we wanted a companion dog for annie and that i want to have dogs forever and that it is a LOT easier to train in a puppy if you have an adult dog to model behavior from. so with our needs in mind, we started looking for a dog that would be compatible both with our lifestyle and with annie’s personality/energy level (she is a mid to low energy sheep dog and can be kind of a crab ass, but she is also very gentle and doesn’t like playing with dogs who are bigger than her). we did our own research and also talked to a couple friends of ours who work as or have worked as vet techs/other dog jobs.

with all that in mind… a LOT of what is good for a new puppy is going to be breed specific. if you’re getting a mutt, this can be difficult because puppies can look like literally anything so you really have no idea what they are until they’ve grown up a bit — and even then it can be tricky. like, we’re PRETTY sure annie is a border collie/australian shepherd mix because she looks like a border collie but acts like an aussie, but mixed breeds can be difficult because even if you’re reasonably certain which breeds go into the grab bag that is your dog, you never know which traits actually made it in. this is part of why standardized breeds can be such a big deal, since temperament is a BIG part of the package.

we got insanely lucky with annie because we knew her original owner so we had already met (and loved) her, knew her temperament, and that she was good with cats and gentle enough that toddlers would probably be fine too.

ALL THIS TO SAY…. the 5 month bladder control is specific to shibas. other puppies might have a similar timeline but i’m not sure. also, in general it’s recommended to take your puppy out with a frequency equivalent to the amount of months they have been alive (so if 2 months, then a potty break every 2 hours). this isn’t exact and you’ll need to get to know your dog. puppies also have very small bladders and relatively little bladder control (and don’t know they need to control it) and depending on the size of the dog, it is very normal for them to need to pee within 10-30 minutes of drinking water. because of this, it’s a good idea to give your puppy periodic planned water breaks and then take them outside instead of just leaving water out all the time. one thing i have done to figure out where rodeo is at is to give him water while we’re at the park (i have a collapsible water bowl and i bring a water bottle for the 3 of us) and then time him from when he drinks to when he pees, since in that situation he has total free reign over his potty time.

puppies need a LOT of recreation and in addition to walks, they need mental stimulation. scent games are invaluable for this!! i like to scatter a mixture of kibble and treats (in small sizes) across either the backyard or a safe portion of park and let the dogs sniff out and forage. they LOVE this shit. it might take some patience with a puppy if you don’t already have an adult dog to model the behavior, but once they get it they love it (especially if you use a treat they love). i literally cannot recommend this enough, it gets out SO many puppy beans in one go and i get to just chill behind them and like play phone games or call a friend. once your dog is used to this you can gradually decrease the ratio of high value vs low value treats for this, but puppies get bored easily so i recommend like… high mid value, if that makes sense. like you don’t need to give them hot dogs for this, but they probably won’t be super pumped for just kibbles. BUT if they ever are good with just kibbies, then you can use this method for every meal and it will make them so tired. it’s great!!

aaaand my last big tip is to clicker train. this can be a bit confusing to read about so i recommend watching videos to familiarize yourself with how it works, but it is SUPER worth it! puppies pick up on reward patterns super fast but do not have a long attention span and might have no idea what you’re rewarding them for if you don’t start them out with a clicker. i can’t speak for less clever breeds, but rodeo picked up the clicker training in the first day and i accidentally trained the corgi puppy downstairs on the clicker too since he and rodeo play together so much lol.

anyway this was a horrifically long post, i hope it helps. honestly i would not recommend getting a puppy unless you can work from home and have a decent chunk of time to dedicate to raising a literal baby (in fur form).

I think I didn't like the daily login aspect of it. When I want to play a game, I want to be able to sit through it for a long while and not need to wait to play the next day for some extra dialouge. I hated doing that with the Otome games as well. Took way too long.. And again, I just think the characters weren't all that interesting to me. I had a friend who loooved the game but it was so long ago that I barely remember our coversation about it. The only one I liked was 707. Nothing cool at my work place, sadly. Just same old, same old. No developed OCs either. I've just been babysitting so I haven't had time to think to myself for a while v_v

Though, I have played some new games :D (Some of them not really *new* new games but have been in my roster for a while but haven't touched till as of recently):

- Honkai Star Rail (I'm sure you've heard of that one!)

- Phasmophobia (Hunting ghosties~~)

- Outlast Trials (Horror/Sci-fi(?) I've been waiting for one of my friends on the other side of the world to get back home so I can play it again x_x)

- Left 4 Dead 2 (FPS shooter game. I usually don't play them but it's been for so far!)

-Cult of the Lamb (Uhh... Animal Crossing meets Binding of Issac?)

- Project Zomboid (Survival game w/ zombies)
