Another late-night thought; What if, if we ever get a Prehistoric Planet season 3, the Making ofs seen at the end of every episode could evolve into full-on Chased by Dinosaurs-like bits that are based on the behind of segments seen in other shows like Blue Planet or Planet Earth?

Think about it; Maybe one of them could have the camera crew get up and close with the creatures of Maastrichtian Madagascar as they film them, wherever they want to deal with them or not. Maybe a Majungasaurus gets curious and sniff into one of the crew’s tents as everyone sleeps, or perhaps a Simosuchus chasing the poor cameraman around as it does its defensive maneuver of hissing and false kicks. And that’s just the start of it. Consider these other sorts of goofy animal-and-film crew meetings while not filming.

An Ankylosaurus doing a mock charge similar to a hippo to chase the crew out of his swamp

Some sort of troodontid stealing one of the members’ hats, with said member having to go after it

A Mosasaurus spyhopping the crew while they’re on a boat. Helped especially by the idea that mosasaurs, like their modern monitor lizard relatives alive today, would be more curious and intelligent than you’d think

A flock of different Ouled Abdoun pterosaur species getting a nippy toward the crew and any food that they might have. Think seagulls, just bigger and ominous

The crew having to hide and give a wide berth towards any large azhdarchids like Quetzalcoatlus and Hatzegopteryx, because great care is needed to film giraffe-sized predators without worrying about a throat big enough to fit a person within

A Rahonavis stealing food from one of the crew members

The crew risking gettting close to large herbivores, as they’re a lot more dangerous than even the predators

Just things like that and more. This is just a fun idea to pass the time with while we ever get another season to this show
