looking thru hashtags on insta to see if there's any London based artists with styles that catch my eye and jesus Christ so much of this is fineline 😬 I'm not tattoo shaming in any sense they're incredibly well done and beautiful but I eternally wonder if as many people would get them knowing how poorly they age

#axel grinds on #thats gonna be a blurred out mess within 5 years tops 😭#i know i know all tattoos blend and blur and spread and look worse with age #but make those lines even slightly thicker and itll hold for WAY longer #my dad has a tattoo of my birthdate and whilst a small tattoo which has visibly aged and blurred it's still perfectly legible #its 24 years old and whilst it LOOKS aged its still legible #you can GET detailed linework tattoos with a slightly thicker line no probs like #my jackalope and my kaneda have fairly thin detailed linework and both will age fine #kaneda is still extremely new but the jackalope is coming up on three years old and looks great #its blurred and spread a little as all tattoos do but all lines are legible #if anything its just confirms as it ages its gonna remain a good looking tat lol
