#i mean it’s very clearly a case of she’s not wrong but her argument is entirely wrapped up in her own perspective #and unmet needs #she is just as brave and capable and faithful as her uncle and brother #and yet her work is thankless and expected of her #it’s not that she envies the men’s work she envies that they are remembered and renowned #and no honor is shown to her for work that is equally as important sacrificial and dangerous #if anything it’s kind of a callout for those who degrade ‘women’s work’#lotr
