OKAY HELLO UH. SAVANACLAW DREAM UPDATE SPOILERS ?!?!!2!!2!2
THE. WAY BOTH JACK AND RUGGIE ADMIRE LEONA SO MYCH AND FEATURE HIM IN THEIR DREAMS šššš Jack making Leona basically nOT HAVE DEPRESSION QUFBWKANDK šš and making him a fair player... Jack my boy... your dream is lovely but you made him do stuff hED NEVER DO šš
AND RUGGIE. THE FACT HE AND LEONA NEVER MET IN THIS DREAM *BUT* THE AMAZING DRESM SCHOOL HE ATTENDS WAS SKGNKENAKjfkenalNIfjeksksn MADE/PROPOSED TO BE MADE (?) BY LEONA ššš AND HE SAYS THAT PRINCE LEONA IS MORE POPULAR THAN FALENA AMONGST TYE YOUTH AJFNWKNudnekskalakdknsk tHEY WANT ME DEAD. D E A D.
and then ... ruggie says smth about him choosing the king he'll follow and LATER WHEN REFERRING TO LEONA HE SAYS SMTH TO JACK LIKE. "LET'S GO WAKE UP OUR KING" I'm fuckifnwjzbslakznaklNdkdkals akehueuqjakansksk THEY ADORE HIM SO MUCH. I CAN'T DO THIS.
So this means we'll get a full chapter ONLY for Leona's dream... I don't think we'll see him crying like Jack and Ruggie but GOD IF WE DO SEE THAT I'LL BE FOUND DEAD- i just knowwww that whichever way they go w it (the "he already knows it's a dream theory" or SMTH else), there WILL BE drama and I *WILL* die internally... my Leona plushies will pay the price (they will be hugged very tightly)
[Referencing the book 7 part 11 update!]
Me, coping: Oh, the book 7 Savanaclaw update is split into two parts? That means the first part must be dedicated to Jack and Ruggie and the second part must be Leona only. Surely this means I am free from being sniped in the Jack and Ruggie segment. Me, from the future:
. . .
ME EXPERIENCING THE FIVE STAGES OF GRIEF ALL AT ONCE
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ššš I was kind of expecting some element of respecting their dorm leader to come up (definitely for Jack's), BUT NOT THIS EXTENT OTL
Of the two, Jack's dream was the more obvious one to feature Leona in a very positive light. His admiration for the guy was clear ever since book 2, in which Jack--someone who regularly sucks at expressing his feelings--confessed MULTIPLE TIMES that it was Leona's passionate magift play on TV that inspired Jack to follow in his footsteps. And that's why he was so disappointed to learn that the guy he admired all along was a scumbag that would play dirty to get ahead. The Leona in Jack's dream might be that version that Jack had in his head... The Leona he yearns for the attention and praise of, the Leona he thought was a virtuous leader who values hard work and good sportsmanship, the kind of person who gives speeches to inspire his team and helps people up by the hand when they fall. Another reading could be that this is the Leona Jack believes is still possible if he works toward it, because this dream seems to be set a YEAR after their loss to Diasomnia. And this is Leona at his best and most dangerous because he's throwing literally everything he has into this training, so he'll probably do the same in combat; Yuu and co. have to develop a whole strategy in advance to isolate Jack because they KNOW they're going to get blasted by dream!Leona if they give any inkling of trying to wake the dreamer up. JACK LITERALLY DREAMED ABOUT LEONA THRIVING, BEING HIS BEST SELF... Jack, the self-proclaimed LONE WOLF, who claims he doesn't like GROUP ACTIVITIES/SPORTS, longs to be part of the pack that LEONA leads... But he won't follow just anyone, Jack has standards AND LEONA APPARENTLY MEETS ALL OF THEM (or, in Jack's eyes, Leona can meet those standards).
THEN WHEN JACK WAKES UP... Hoo, boy... The way he was smiling but then broke down into shouts and sobs... That's literally got to be my favorite kind of emotional distress (part of why I loved Idia's breakdown when he was introducing his newly built little brother to the Styx researchers). You can hear how betrayed he feels in his voice, all the raw emotion that didn't come through as strongly in book 2. ASKHLBLBIASDIVDAI SORRY TO DUNK ON BOOK 2 AGAIN BUT IT'S TRUE. Jack's feelings of betrayal... They were so blunted there, it felt like he was reacting to a minor setback (he seems to easily shrug off being called a traitor by the guy he supposedly admires) rather than genuinely being hurt. I'm glad that the emotional weight that wasn't addressed then is finally getting the spotlight it deserves now.
Then Ruggie's dream???? š That one caught me SO off-guard. The way it opens with Yuu and co. suspecting it's Leona's dream because they arrived in Sunrise City, one of the few industrialized places in Sunset Savanna... The lore review of how it's difficult to get the people to get behind developing the land due to how it would negatively impact the nature they want to live in harmony with (plus the brand-new reveal that these disagreements can become VIOLENT)... and Idia realizing that this, THIS is why Leona actually decided to take an internship at an energy and mining lab back home--because Leona realized he cannot change the country on his own, no matter how often he butts heads with his brother. He needs even more knowledge and a team to work with him. An NPC donut vendor lady randomly drops it on us that it's thanks the PRINCE LEONA that Ivorycliff Academy was able to be established. Not only that, but turns out Leona has graduated already and has spent his time after NRC building schools and establishing magift teams for Sunset Savanna (the latter being something Leona expressed interest in, as having a national sport and/or famous sporting teams can enhance his country's soft power). AND HE'S MORE POPULAR AMONG THE YOUTH THAN FALENA IS???????? MR. LEONA I-HATE-DEALING-WITH-KIDS KINGSCHOLAR IS POPULAR WITH... THE KIDS????? ? ?? ?? ?? ? ?? ?????? ?? ? š The guy who claims to only help the underclassmen because they'd otherwise be an inconvenience to him... is admired by the same underclassmen... and now that has translated over to Ruggie's dream as the youth of Sunset Savanna loving him... OTL YOU'RE KIDDING ME RIGHT/????? ? ??? ? ??v????? ? ? ????
The most bewildering detail to me about Ruggie's dream is that he and Leona haven't met at all; Ruggie acts pretty clueless when asked about it and Leona graduated from a completely different school than him (NRC). There's no way they could have met, yet the dream still deemed that Leona was an important enough aspect of Ruggie's life that he was incorporated into it... and, unlike in real life, Leona now has the influence to make these systematic changes not just for bettering Ruggie's life, but the lives of everyone in Sunset Savanna...
UUUURURUGUUGHHGHHHHHHHGHGHHHHHHH H H HH H H HHHHHHH H H H HH H H AND THEN WWHEN RUGGIE FINALLY WAKES UP AND AND ANADNANDANDANASHADSNADSNADSNAN NDDDSDD SD SM ADSB,M ADSDBSM DDD HE CALLS HE WON'T FOLLOW A "FAKE KING", HE WANTS TO CHOSOE THE KING HE FOLLOWS ššš RUGGIE TELLS JACK THEY SHOULD GO AND WAKE UP "OUR KING"... Ruggie, who constantly complains about how easy rich people have it and how hard Leona makes him work for his coin, is standing right here and HE'S CHOOSING LEONA.
This is all so crazy to think about because back in book 6 (citing the moment that broke me Yet Again, lmao) Leona implied that while he has hope in others (like Jamil), HE DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME HOPE FOR HIMSELF. But there's literally his whole dorm who trust him to lead them and their futures as professional athletes š Jack who believes Leona is capable of being that shining, ideal senpai he dreamed of... Ruggie who believes Leona can and will change not only his life for the better, but also the lives of marginalized beastmen like hyenas, the younger generation, and heck, why not their whole country too... OTL
THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORST POSSIBLE OUTDCOME FOR ME... . . . . ....... . .. . . . .. . / / / / / . . . .. . .. ... . . . ... . . YOU JAVE JACK'S DREAM SUPPLYING THE RELIABLE BIG BRO/ONII-SAN LEONA... THEN RUGIGE'S DREAM SUPPYL inG THE SMAR TDETERMINED PRINCE LEONA ... AND THEN NEXT UPDAT.E.XBBCXL V.CV . . . . . . . . ...... .. .. . . . . Only if you want to! but would love to hear your thoughts about telepaths/psionics bias within the in-universe mutant community. I've always liked seeing Erik's particular dilemma explored in fanworks since in the movies we got to see his relationship with different telepaths, but I always like seeing it explored more generally too. so I guess I was wondering if you'd explored/thought about these bits of canon too, and of course, no worries if not!
Hello!! Sorry it took me so long to reply to this, I was thinking my answer over and all the stuff I wanted to say (/overthinker).
I think a LOT about psionphobia (or whatever the term would be called) in-universe. Especially because to me, mutations are symbolic for disabilities and different neurotypes. The term āneurodivergentā describes people whose brain differences affect how their brain worksā¦and to me, that means all telepaths are inherently neurodivergent.
Now I see Charles as autistic, but even if he WASN'T autistic, that means his psychic powers affect the way he perceives social situations, information, etc.
And so, when I see in-universe characters (like XMFC Raven) tell Charles to stay out of their mindsāwhile I understand the desire for privacyāit feels ableist to me. I'd understand if Raven asked Charles to keep out of her more private thoughts, but to keep out of her mind in general feels almost like asking an autistic person to stop stimming when they're around you.
Like, that's just the way Charles is. He probably overhears people's thoughts and feelings at a surface level at all times, without the intention of delving deeper.
This artist does a REALLY pretty comic depicting this and it's 1000% how I headcanon Charles' telepathy now, please go read and reblog the full thing if you haven't already:
Artist: yancant on tumblr
I also think just because Charles CAN intrude on people's innermost secrets, doesn't mean he necessarily WILL. Like, lots of people drive a car. Anyone could technically plow that car into a crowd of people. But most other people assume they won't. So we don't freak out when we see cars. Ya know.
With that logic it feels unfair to assume Charles is going to do bad things with his telepathy simply because he can. ALL humans are capable of bad things! Why is he being singled out for the way he thinks.
Re:Erik, he is the only one who seems to understand this. Him inviting Charles to be in his head (in fanworks but also XMFC) shows that he is not only tolerating Charles' mutation but EMBRACING it. (We all know he has a telepathy kink but that's something different okay.) To use the neurodivergent metaphor, he's telling Charles it's okay to unmask around him.
Like obviously this scene is very emotional for Erik, and Charles is definitely too caught up in his savior complex to take notice of his own emotions, but imagine!! Feeling that welcomed in someone else's mind for the first time!! And them not pushing you out or getting angry for touching a sensitive memory!
I have no idea any of that makes sense or if I'm grasping for straws but that's my overall take on it.
ANYWAYSā¦so that's my overall take on it. In terms of the soccer AU I'm currently working on..I have other thoughts and some of it will be addressed in futuer chapters (I'm gonna try to upload today). So we'll see. Sorry if this completely didn't answer your question LMFAO.

Thinking about Buck,
Still not over Tommy, deeply unsatisfied being under anyone else (he's tried and lost count how many times). His best friend has moved away; he's happy Eddie's working things out with Chris, but he misses them both terribly.
Amongst every one else, he feels...not so much a divide, but maybe less enmeshed than they used to be.
Nothing's wrong with his job, but well, it's starting to feel a lot less like his whole life and purpose and more like just that: a job. He's stagnant. Stuck.
He feels an itch under his skin that he can't scratch in any of his usual ways.
He's over pouring out his love into a Kitchen aid mixer. He's done trying to bury his need for connection into hook-ups.
Realizes maybe he's not as settled as he thought he was. Maybe he's still searching; but for what, he doesn't know. Himself. His purpose. Love.
Realizes he misses not being stuck in one place.
So he takes a vacation. Spends two weeks in Japan. Tells himself he won't create a full itinerary for his time there (he spends most of his flight doing so anyway, but he compromises with himself and leaves his second week open).
He reads about the Wind Phone. How people travel from all over to talk to their late loved ones through a rotary phone.
He doesn't go his first week there, but the thought of it is never far from his mind. (He's held hands with Death, he isn't sure what he's so afraid of).
He gets to the garden of Bell Gardia.
He thinks about Red Delacroix, who warned him against making firefighting his whole life. āYou can be the hero and save lives, but donāt neglect having your own. Last thing you want is to be at the end holding nothing but regrets.ā So he talks to Red; tells him he hasn't quite figured it out, is scared he never will.
He comes back the next day, Thomas on his mind. Buck tells him how he found his scrapbook the other day (he had forgotten that he'd even taken it). He tells him about Tommy, the love he thought he finally found (then lost). He smiles. "I know, I know. You don't find it, you make it." He can't help the crack in his voice "I really thought we were."
Buck wonders what it says about him that he's spending his vacation talking to dead. Knows he's not done yet
He comes back the next day, and the day after that, and the one after that. He talks to Daniel each time. He isn't quite sure how to picture him; the age he was in the last photos taken of him, the age when he died, the older Daniel that his coma dream imagined up? He talks to them all.
He gives him the abridged version of his life. Wonders if he should leave out the parts he knows would break his brother's heart, leaves them in anyway. It's cathartic; to confess of the survivor's guilt he's carried since learning of Daniel, how it all came flooding back when woke up from his coma, how it felt like he was letting him down again in the interest of his own survival.
He's certain he's out of tears, and he may not have a voice left by the end of his trip.
But he's got one more phone call to make. And he can't make it here, in this haunted phone booth. And he doesn't want to wait until it's too late.
He hasn't figured it all out. He doesn't know where him and Tommy went wrong. He knows they're both haunted by their own ghosts.
But Tommy's still here. And unlike Buck's ghosts on the other end of the phone, he can talk back.
So Buck does what he should have done months ago. He calls Tommy. He nearly sobs in relief when he hears a breath on the other end and a quiet, "Evan?"

its āØcrisis timeāØ
sooo.... im aroace.
ive kinda known for a long time but i was in denial about it until recently (my internal thoughts are... complicated)
anyways, i want to come out to somebody, but im not sure who. i have a few options so im making a pro/con list (something i do a lot when making important decisions). yes, this is very personal but i need an outside opinion.
Option 1: lets call her Estelle (not her real name)
Pros:
younger sister
im really close to her (we tell each other almost everything)
bisexual, and i was one of the first people she told
already suspects that im aroace
Cons:
shes really pushy
shes gonna be weird about it and ask too many questions
she hasnt been as honest with me as she used to be, so im a little hesitant to open up to her
Option 2: Poppy (again, not her real name)
Pros:
shes my twin sister
we're really close
if i tell her, shes finally gonna stop asking me why i dont get crushes (and stop calling me a liar)
shes pretty understanding
she probably wont ask too many questions
she tells me everything about her life
i know she probably wont tell anyone
Cons:
shes straight (and doesnt know our other sister is bi) so she could be weird about it?
i might need to explain it to her bc shes less educated
Option 3: Clara
Pros:
lesbian, so she'll definetly understand
already knows what aroace means
we've been friend since kindergarten and we text a lot
Cons:
i know for a fact that she's not completely honest with me about her life
i dont know her as well as i thought i did :,(
basically idk... it would be kinda hard for me to be super honest with her, and i would feel weird about it
Option 4: put a PSA on my extended family group chat and then completely disappear (lock myself in my room) for like a week
Pros:
they'll all finally know
theyll stop calling me a liar when i say i dont have any crushes
i can stop feeling like im hiding something when im around them
i gotta come out sooner or later, right?
rip the band-aid off
if i come out first, my sister will probably feel more comfortable when she decides to come out
Cons:
theyre REALLY homophobic
they have extremely... old-fashioned views on stuff like families and gender roles etc
they definetly wont understand
theyll probably call me a heartless robot or smth
i'll probably end up as an outsider in my own family
they're gonna be super awkward around me
long story short: every bad thing that you could say to an aroace... thats what theyd say to me
So... if anyone has advice, i would love to hear it. this is literally eating me up inside, i really want to talk to someone but i dont know who. also (and this is a weird request) my dms are always open, if anyone's out there and wants to chat, please message me and we can work through our crisises together

ADLFKAJ;DLKFAJDF; itās snatch game episode already
HONestly did not think Shinji would win this challenge but relooking at his stats his pretty OP overall (Comedy: 10, Acting: 8, Improv: 13) but also Shinji would be a pop culture king and know his shit for sure after being in the living world for so long
might be time for ishida though ;; can you imagine him though, he would have been so flustered and blank and self-conscious too aww
Ā i wonder who they all impersonated

what the hell is going on with the Maeglin LĆŗthien parallels. Aredhel and Thingol both wander off into Nan Elmoth specifically and mysteriously vanish. Thereās an uhhh dubiously consensual enchantment situation. LĆ³mion and TinĆŗviel. Does this mean anything. Whatās going on here.

I had a random thought, only five AA games are actually the story of their protagonist. Those being Justice For All, Dual Destinies, Spirit of Justice, and TGAA1. (AAI2 is in a weird place but Iāll explain that at the end so spoilers for that game as well)
Like, I know each protagonist is important to the story, but itās still not their story.
The original Ace attorney is all about the consequences of DL6 (Red White and Miaās death, Miles and Von Karma) and Milesā redemption. Phoenix is just the catalyst for it all to start unraveling.
Then Trials and Tribulations was the story of the Feys and how Mistyās disappearance and the inter-family politics destroyed the lives of so many. Itās also Diegoās story to a lesser extent, of him learning to grieve and let go of his anger. Again, Phoenix is just the one being dragged into this mess due to his connection with Mia and Maya. (I would argue that dealing with your evil ex is definitely your story, but that part is so completely overshadowed by the family drama that it is a side plot.)
Apollo Justice was the story of the Grammaryes and the Gavin brothers and how one family destroyed itself while Klavier realized just how fucked up his brother is and the part he had to play in Kristophās schemes. Not to mention Phoenix and his disbarment and him learning to trust Apollo, going from practically taking over the defense from him in case 1 to trusting him with winning the Misham case in case 4.
AAI1 is the story of Kay Faraday and the legacy of the Yatagarasu. Miles is there because he happened to be the one with the necessary information and ability to solve the case when it became an international incident, but he does not go through any character development during that time.
TGAA2 is the story of the Professor killings, and Kazuma and Van Zeiksā families, the misdeeds of Lord Stronghart and the the tangled web of lies that was woven in order to protect the corrupt system. Ryunosuke went through his character development of growing into a proper lawyer in the first game so heās free to be the catalyst here.
AAI2 is weird however, it is Milesā story, of learning what it truly means to follow his fatherās legacy and learning that he can do that in his own way as a prosecutor. But it is equally the story of Simeon and his misguided revenge, and how authority and the system can so completely fail a person that it drives them to extreme measures. AAI2 is two stories borne of the same tragedy.

does anyone else. idk exactly how to put this. feel weird? about evan kelmp? it feels very strange and almost demeaning to hear the cast chuckle in pity at descriptions of evan's life and memories that are similar or the same as things i have experienced. and it's not that i don't think they understand the very serious and sad nature of evan's backstory? but idk. some of these little moments. these sad little oh evan is so pathetic and miserable moments. they make me flinch a little bit
#to be clear this isn't meant to be an attack on the cast and rather to the contrary i really admire their storytelling#this might just be a symptom of evan's character hitting to close to home? idk#if anyone else who's ever been in a similar place has any thoughts even tangential ones i'd love to hear them.#i'd forgotten how much of a mirror evan is for me and it's. hard#aug.post#misfits and magic#mismag#idk i wasnt gonna maintag this bc it's kinda negative but. i would really like to hear from other people#just plz understand this is coming from a very personal place and im not trying to express any hostility towards the cast :(

i see that YOU wanna be bothered too and that you're a d4 enthusiast like me (they're my pookies!!) soooo what's your thoughts on the hc that annie was a career?? š¤š¤
omg first of all thank you for sending this also i just saw your header and thatās such a slay
this is SUCH a good question and i know itās so controversial so this is just my personal take!! i totally understand why people might think itās wrong-
but i do believe that annie was a career and volunteered for the games. i think all victors are damaged from their games in a way and annie is just a different (perhaps more extreme?) example of the affects of being in the arena.
the thing is, you can have all the training in the world- but nothing really prepares you for that kind of violence. especially not seeing your district partner, someone you knew, being decapitated. that is extremely heavy and traumatizing to witness even for someone who volunteered for it. and yes, maybe most careers wouldnāt be impacted by that to the extent that by the human brain is a weird thing and all people react differently.
i saw someone make the comparison between soldiers signing up to join the military and still coming out deeply traumatized by what they saw and i think thatās a pretty good example. you can know what youāre getting into, you can train, you can do whatever- but youāre never truly 100% prepared to go through something like that.
in my opinion, that actually makes her a much more interesting- and no less sympathetic- character! i think a lot of people donāt want to associate annie (and even finnick i see a lot) with being ācareersā because the careers are associated with being the bad guys and no one wants their faves to be the bad guys. but the careers were not evil/bad people- they were brainwashed children. but thatās another rant for another day.
so yeah idk if any of that even made sense but basically:
yes, annie is a heavily traumatized- but real- career.
#annie cresta#the hunger games#asks#finnick odair#again just my perspective and everyone is totally valid in whatever they think bc we have no way of actually knowing!!#if anyone has any similar thoughts or even different opinions i would LOVE to hear them!!!!#thank you so much for sending this though i love answering questions like this hahahhaha#i will die on the hill that the careers were not evil people

Maybe Wild and/or Beast for the ask game? :0
I dunno guys,,,, I think she kinda wild,,,,,
anyways ahahah im so funny hahahah SO
I've been lowkey dreading this post because, well,,, I don't really get the Wild, I don't think. I mean, I understood what her chapter was about, but. I feel like there's something more to her that I don't understand? Maybe it's because the way Narrator acts in the chapter steals away my attention from her. He's uh. especially villainy. Very antagonistic towards Quiet, which is unusual. Even in chapters like damsel or spectre, He sorta just,, i dunno, gives up?? hopes we come to our senses?? but here it's almost like He's unusually desperate, and it almost feels like he hates us. I think, maybe because to Him the princess is a personification of evil, and yet in this chapter we and the princess are one. So He must see us as an evil as well. Which is crazy paired up with the visual of the wounded Wild, really shows how stuck in His beliefs Echo really is.
And the whole conflict of the chapter is honestly heartbreaking. I think Quiet really values their personhood, even on the cusp of their awakening, they cling to it. And the mere existence of the option to separate from Wild makes me think that they don't really want to stay as one, even if they decide to go through with it. But that's not the case for the Wild. She views herself and Quiet as one, so if they separate from her, she would lose part of herself. No matter what, one of them hurts the other, and yet the choice is in Quiet's hands. Kinda parallels the final battle, huh? But what I really love about this is that no matter what choice is made, there's always hope. We can either stay together and find something beautiful, or separate but learn to live with it.
Except for Narry. He's fucked either way. L bozo
anyways- KITTY KITTY KITTY HOLY SHIT KITTY TIME MEOW MEOW MEOW I love her. Absolute silly. The kitty cat. I wanna scratch her tummy. I have so many headcanons about her and other princesses. Basically I think Beast is to the princesses what (fanon)Hunted is to the voices. Big mama bear vibes. Esp to Witch and Thorn!! I like to imagine her going through a little identity crisis before figuring out her role as the protector šš seriously I love her sm and I can't wait for Den update. Certified meow meow.
#slay the princess#ask game#stp the wild#stp the beast#finally getting around to finishing these off!!#they've been sitting in my ask box for a bit#this is actually the first ask i received i think#i apologize for the long wait I just. I really needed to get my thoughts on the wild finalized#she is so interesting to me#i still feel like im missing something#i haven't even talked about how the wild is probably the closest thing we'll see to how things were before narry split shifty and quiet#pls someone#if anyone has any thoughts on the wild#i would love to hear them#analysis

A Doylist explanation for ToTK Gondorf's aesthetics I like is that they wanted him to look like a ronin as a way of to draw on the image of a dishonored man, who exists outside of and even in opposition to societal hierarchies.
This however, has fascinating implications, as in modern Hyrule the people who visually have the most in common with Ganondorf, especially when it comes to the choice of weapons, are the Sheikah.
Do you have a Watsonian headcanon as to why that could be the case?
first of all this is a very interesting question!! second of all I feel very under-qualified to answer it LOL (not mad at you at all!!! im very glad you asked me! i just feel bad that i can't answer the question in a way that it deserves)
No I do not. but I figured that I would try to think it out anyway
cut-off because. long ( I do not know how it became this long. I dont even have good answers. )
at least for his sword (and maybe the bow?), maybe he encountered the sheikah at some point before the events of totk. and had weapons custom made inspired by what he saw. this is assuming the sheikah as a race were around during then. (I know the zelda wiki said something about the sheikah being sent by the goddess to protect the royal family. so.)
and the clothing. I'll just say that's how the gerudo chiefs used to dress. It looks close-ish enough to Riju (and urobosa's[?]) attire that it could maybe be the predecessor to it???? (very huge stretch. the only thing really connecting them are the colors, gerudo patterns, and the little bits of jewelry hanging off the fabric's edge. I only say this because I don't know any other reason why he would dress like that)
I would say that he got inspiration from the sheikah's clothes like he might've with the weaponry, but i think this is unlikely because his outfit doesn't look very similar to the sheikah's attire at all. But who knows, maybe the sheikah did dress like that back then and he did get it from them.
also if you're trying to suggest that the sheikah took after ganondorf. I dont know why they would logically. then again I don't really know squat about LoZ outside of botw/totk š so maybe there could be a reason that would make sense lore-wise and I just don't know it?
Or! maybe it's just one big coincidence (worst answer)
these are thee most boring answers I could have possibly come up with but they're the only ideas that I could think of (within reason.?)(this is a bad excuse. sorry)
BUT This is such a good thought provoker!! I agree that it probably has really interesting implications! I simply do not know how to connect the strings. Sorry for the long disjointed post. Thank you for sending me this ask, I really wish I could interact with it in a meaningful way.
#ask#I would like to formally apologize to all the Ganondorf fans in the chat#and the sheikah fans too#and LoZ fans in general lol#good grief i need to read up on loz lore. or maybe even play some non totk/botw zelda games. something#If anyone has any ideas or answers i wouldn't mind hearing them. i think seeing other perspectives would be helpful#while āāresearchingāā things to come up with a good answer for this ask i started to get frustrated with totk as a whole#totk i love you i think. but you annoy me a lot sometimes#this is what i get for only focusing on the zonai lol#i wish i had the totk artbook so i could look at ganondorf's outfit a little bit closer#ALSO your analysis(?) of ganondorf's aesthetics being inspired by ronins and what it implies is so cool!#it kind of blew my mind because i never thought of it at all in that way before. thank you

Ok but the real question about the flight of the Masters (I say, as if there's not a dozen of them) is: why didn't we get more of them joining the fight? And why did we get those ones? Fires is pretty obvious, it doesn't want the Sixth City and that seems to have been the alternative to beating the Starved. I don't know enough about Pages or Iron to know their possible motivations, but also what was keeping the others from joining in? Did they disagree on the plan of action? Did they just not care about the city enough to fight for it? Alternatively, it's hardly like any of the three seemed to be struggling in that fight - did they just not think the situation was bad enough to need more of them? I'm so interested to know
#fallen london#estival 2023#voidrambles#I would have thought that Hearts would want to get up in there at the very least#to maybe gather some Starved bits for its collection#or who knowsļ¼Wines is connected to Sinning Jennyļ¼maybe she could have called in a favour?#i can't quite imagine Wines clawing up a bunch of Starved but I'd certainly like to see how it might go about it#if anyone who's less stupid about lore than me has any guesses as to why we got who we got I'd love to hear them#and why no other Masters showed up

So I had a thought regarding Lilith's supposed "dream" in which she passed on to Charlie, and while we may not know the details as to why Lilith is in heaven I feel like this 'dream' Charlie now holds is a very important detail that might be a direct byproduct of whatever means brought Lilith into Heaven to begin with.
Especially considering she was said to have empowered demon-kind with her voice and songs; something we see Charlie attempting to do now. And while it's not completely effective just yet, there is something to be said about the songs and how they're meant to inspire and empower the masses; be it to rally to war, or what have you.
Seeing Charlie now she's more or less taking up the mantle of what seems to be a sort of mishmash of the dreams inspired by her dad to find the good in all of the evil, and the means in which Lilith brought demon kind together using her voice and songs. I want to believe this is because Lilith, despite being up in heaven for unknown reasons, tasks Charlie with picking up where she left off in keeping the denizens of Hell united. Because you can't stand together if you don't believe in a common goal or have some means in which to come together.
This is especially curious without knowing the reason she is up in Heaven to start with, I want to believe it was for reasons pertaining to protecting everything she had worked so hard to build up and create but it's still too hard to say. There may also be some ties to her and Alastor we don't know yet, but there's enough theories about that out there and not enough looking into what ideals she may have passed down to Charlie herself.
Because Charlie would be a byproduct of her environment to some degree so it stands to reason that Lilith would want the best for her people the same way Charlie does, and we know that Lucifer's opinion of their people degrades over time, until he is so disheartened from trying and failing that he just resigns himself to what Heaven insisted on from the start and believes that there's no redeeming any of them. Sometimes it's just easier to accept everything at face value when you've been beaten down too many times.
I do have thoughts regarding some ultimatum from Heaven and that there's more to the extermination meeting than what we've been given, which may very well explain the divide between Lucifer and Lilith in present day and their differing ideals/beliefs based on the pressures of Angelic hierarchy. Which, if the ultimatum had anything to do with extermination, could be the reason Lilith put herself where she is right now and is simply biding her time, putting her faith in Charlie to follow in her footsteps despite everything that Heaven might think is best for the two worlds.
I also think there's possibly more to the story of Hell since it would very likely be biased if actually written by Lilith or Lucifer respectively, at the very least it's a fantasy retelling of the real events and so there is almost certainly a lot left out and/or embellished no matter who wrote it.
Anyway TLDR I think Lilith may not be as evil as most people are thinking, being shrouded in mystery like she is tends to leave people with a sense of distrust and I feel we will get that from her going forward whether her intent is malicious or not. It's a case of correlation not equalling causation and there's likely a lot more to her motives than meets the eye. Especially if Charlie or Alastor are involved, she may not be able to directly influence Hell at all given her absence for 7 years and Charlie having Lilith's supposed dream passed down to her would be a means to go around that. Alastor possibly being a security measure, if we do fall in line with the theory that he's tied to her in some way. (But it could also very well be Roo so I'll leave that thought open ended until more seasons come out)
I just thought it interesting nobody has really touched on Charlie's part in all of this and what that says about Lilith as a character, and what we might expect to see from her going forward.
