TF2-Specific

I REALLY love Team Fortress 2, I’ve had a major hyperfixation for this game since it’s initial release, it’s a huge comfort thing for me

Sniper is my favorite, I love him, he’s my husband, but I also just wanna be him so SHRUGS

SniperSpy is my biggest ship, my OTP, if I’m gonna get gay and talk about two men being in love it’s gonna be about them 90% of the time

SniperSpy is the only one I’ll go absolutely feral over, but I also really love HeavyMedic and Engineer/Soldier/Demoman, I actually have very few ships I don’t like

I really would prefer people DON’T tag my headcanons with things like “me” or “kin” or “self ship”. it just kinda makes me uncomfortable to have people do that with my headcanons

I don’t answer asks pertaining to Merc x OC / Reader / generic S/O sorta stuff, I’ll consider doing ficlets with those topics however I’d prefer to be paid for those since there’s a lot more involved with making them

I am free to pick and choose what I want to answer.  sometimes I read something, and while I like the concept I just don’t think I’ll have the words to answer it so I’ll delete it.  this is to keep myself from getting overwhelmed trying to answer things I genuinely can’t, thus causing myself to stress out and be unable to answer other asks

I personally cannot get into most 10th class / fem merc things, I won’t shit on people who do enjoy it.  it’s just I’ve had the concepts for both ruined for me and I can’t separate the bad feelings from them anymore.  there are VERY specific scenarios where I can find myself enjoying either

I don’t actually dislike SniperScout as a ship.  I just tend to veer away from it these days because the people who do ship those two are super fucking toxic towards others who ship Sniper with anyone else

also if you’re gonna send anon hate over me shipping SniperSpy, don’t waste your own time and instead do something productive with it.  I’m just gonna delete it anyway

I do not under any circumstances ship Spy and Scout, not even if you claim it’s “not canon”, not even if you use OCs (bc it feels too close to the “but it’s not canon” excuse)

HOW I RUN MY BLOG.

SPEED: incredibly slow. 1% of the chance i can reply quickly if it’s a short reply, but other than that 99% of the time it can take a week or over due to most, if not all, replies being thrown out via queue. my queue currently posts two non-rp things (musings, pictures, etc) and two roleplay replies per day. 

if i forget to tag that something’s in the queue and u see a random post at a random time of day but nothing after it, chances are i’m not online LOL i’m just a forgetful fuq

REPLIES: i word vomit, but am not descriptive while doing that. does that make sense?? idk. i can go overboard with replies, or send short replies as long as i feel like it’s enough for someone to work with. i enjoy writing 400+ word replies if i have the muse for it!

adding to that, it’s really difficult for me to solely oneline. it takes me longer to think of a single dialogue line than it takes for me to respond to a novella rp. i wish i was kidding. i also love rping crack but at the same time rping crack while taking it seriously. that totally makes sense 

there are some replies that are easier for me to write than the other, but i usually try to write replies in the order i’ve noticed them/saved them in my drafts.  

replies i owe // have posted can be viewed via my thread tracker. i’m trying to keep it updated as more replies from my queue are thrown out.

STARTERS: i’m pretty bad at writing them, but i like having practice doing it. i’m fine with either impromptu or planned thread starters. i actually have a starter call right here you’re welcomed to like any time, or send me a prompt from the meme linked on it. for planning, if you want to do a pre-established relationship or a specific setting or w/e feel free to im me i don’t bite i promise. unless it’s romantic (since for now i’m keeping nyx single ship with luna (divnitychosen)), 90% of the time i’m fine with a pre-established relationship. 

INBOX: not my priority, unless it’s a starter meme. i like tackling down inbox stuff in between replies. like right now i have a drabble reply slowly being written when i get motivation lol

i have anon off because i can’t be bothered to deal with M!As and other shit that comes with having anon on. if you do want to send something for nyx to react to but ur a personal blog, go for it LOL 

SELECTIVITY: usually follow back if i recognize the series ur character is from or if ur character is a final fantasy muse. for the former, i typically read any rules page first (i do this regardless but), then check the verses to see if you have a ff (or ffxv specifically) verse for my character to potentially interact with yours. same thing applies for ocs. i don’t follow personals since my dash takes a while to catch up to as is.

WISHLIST: would luv 2 rp with a libertus. pls let nyx interact wit his best friend that poor guy is severely lacking in this rp fandom. other than that i dun really have anything i’d LOVE to rp. idek if that makes sense. i’m actually happy with all the interactions i have so far??? lol  

altho... is a anti-wishlist a thing? i’m not sure how i’d feel rping with any selenas (aka his dead sis). like i’m sure it’d be interesting but at the same time i can’t actually imagine her being alive in kingsglaive, and potentially after it if that makes sense? what happened to her affected nyx’s life greatly. i feel like for some characters it’s best to just let them rest and selena is one of them. this could prolly change in the future tho idk

HONEST NOTE: i’d love to interact with some of u either ic or ooc!! the more mutuals i get the more i wish some of them would show interest in interacting. i’m honored rpers want to follow nyx, but i feel like it’s redundant if we don’t actually thread, y’know? although to be honest i have no idea how to approach a thread with a “evil-aligned” character. LOL. i’m pretty bad at sending memes to ppl when i see them all over. i’ll try to make a better habit of doing that to muses nyx has never interacted with before.

other than that pls dun be afraid to approach me if u want to rp!! chances are i’d want to rp with u just as much as u do! esp if ur a ffxv oc. i love interacting with ocs. hell, don’t be afraid 2 approach me in general if u want to chat ooc as well. i’m a loser that likes typing in capslock and acting as if we don’t barely know each other LMAO.
