#if PD was a real guy he would be intolerable

Btw ik by canon it's sort of impossible for Phone Dude and guy to have met, and probably aren't related- as FNAF3 is supposedly 30 years after FNAF 1- Phone Guy died the week before FNAF1, and by the time of FNAF3 (According to the Fazbear Fright short 'What we found') Phone Dude is 23; so yeah PG and PD didn't meet in canon
But my AU that Flipside retains in is sort of in the middle of 1-3 canon and the movie, sort of similar to how the archie canon served to the Sonic games. So yeah, FNAF3 probably won't take 30 years after 1993- but like in the 2000's because I think that would fit the aesthetic well and not rot out ST too much or make the returning guard a lot older to the point that him being there seems odd.

Do you think the FBI might bring up some of Voight’ past actions like everything that happened with Casey which actually led to Voight being in prison for a few weeks or months (can’t remember) before he was released and given some type of immunity deal where he was out in charge of intelligence and snitching to IA for a little while. Also cheers to Matt Casey for having punched Voight and given him a little punishment even if it was for a short time. 😂😂
I think it would be interesting especially since I’m guessing most of intelligence apart from maybe Jay and Trudy don’t know the full story of what happened between Voight and Matt.
Honestly? I don't think the FBI will-- ESPECIALLY not about what happened with Casey, because I can't ever see the show bring that up in a very direct manner. If this was real life? I definitely think it would be.
Like. If the FBI is out for Voight's blood, if they want him then yeah, I absolutely see them bringing it up. Like why I've been saying IA will not send him to prison unless it's a highly publicised thing he's done anyway, is because it would not look good on them. Like the world is (thankfully) more intolerant for dirty cops and if Voight was sent to prison/openly disgraced it would attract media attention and IA would not want that. Because they let him back out, so it wouldn't reflect good in a time where image is everything.
But the FBI won't have those same problems. Because they're above/apart from pd, which means it won't reflect badly on them, and the bad effect it would have on the cpd is just collateral in their minds.
Although like. I definitely don't think this is what's going to happen tho, full disclaimer. I'm just-- idk I'm in a weird mood and I'm finding everything amusing.
Just one thing tho. Like I know they portrayed Voight's deal as bad and that cops shouldn't "snitch" but like that's not. Great. So I'd call it reporting to IA rather than snitching. Bc reporting to IA can still be a bad thing but the language isn't like, yikes from the start.
NOW onto the next part: I find it... Hard to go cheers to Matt punching him because while like,,,, it is very satisfying to watch but idk. People have this thing about Voight being punched and just the strength of the language used makes me a lil uncomfy-- especially if people are cheering it on for Voight's bad (and violent) qualities.
And like, the Voight in fire is not the same Voight in pd as he was a villian in fire and an anti hero type guy in pd. So like while I'm happy that Casey punched him and there is moments in pd when I'm like grrr at Voight and I'm so grateful that he's been hit, it's like not the same?
Idk if this makes sense,,, I just think. It makes me uncomfortable about the surge of people celebrating this has just happened. Although I don't like expressing this too frequently bc I think I get misunderstood/that I can't explain it well and I can't phrase it any better.
And FINALLY. So cops gossip more than school girls so I very much doubt they don't know what happened. They'd have been rumours flying and like. At the very start of the show, I will agree that not much would know the ins and outs of things.
But now?
They've known each other for years. They've known 51 for years. In season one, it's implied that Adam knows at least the basis for why Voight doesn't go into Molly's.
And like if we think about the people over the years who would've known: Trudy, Al, Erin, Antonio, Jay, Gabby, Matt (also Herrmann, Cruz and Otis). That is a LOT of people, especially when we have to take into account that they regularly meet at a bar-- y'know, a place with alcohol. And alcohol makes for loose, gossiping lips.
All of intelligence has had close friendships with a least a few of these people. And have seen to get along with others (for example Kim has been seen to gave a friendly friendship with Gabby, Otis and Cruz. (Also friendly with Matt but not including him because he will have not been the one to fill everyone else in because it's directly traumatic for him)). And "so what's the deal with Voight?" would've come up.
And also like-- and this isn't directed at you, just in general-- I always find this stuff funny. Like a lot of the fandom is always like intelligence is a family!!! They are so close!!! Even tho we see basically no indication of (whatever) I know it happens. And like, I'm not disbarraging that bc same.
But I find it amusing that people are so strong on this opinion yet as soon as it comes from whether they know things they *would* if it's true, those same people are like nope they totally don't know and like. I find it amusing because it's so contradictory.
ANYWAY. That's everything I've got to say. For now, anyway! If I came off bitchy during this I'm sorry I am not trying to!!! This was all wrote with a smile and no saltiness in my heart! 💖

English lesson - On YouTube
Learning very little from YouTube I have a couple of hours to waste. What do I waste them on? You guessed it right: on YouTube (YT) videos. I am not alone, apparently everyone is wasting their time on YT. I heard a pseudoscientific estimation stating that 15% of internet traffic is YT. I hope you will not misunderstand me. In theory, there is a lot that can be learned through YT. But, truth be told, this is just in theory. Let me give you an example. A friend of mine is a YTuber that has become something of an expert in quantum mechanics (QM). But the guy cannot solve the x of a linear equation even if his life depended on it. How can he be a QM YT expert with such a pristine math illiteracy. The answer is simple: he just appears as if he knew. He decides what to say, choses the graphs supporting his assertions, nobody challenges his claims and predictions. Of the latter, they are shaped in a way that they are always true. But not in the future, as honorable predictions should acquire their reputation. His many followers cannot learn much from such a pile of nothingness (I mean it in the most non-abstract sense of the word). So, YT is excellent to feign knowledge, and it’s even better to feign interest in… whatever. YT is like TV, only worse. You see, TV was expensive to create, and some thought was applied to achieve some decent content. Not so with YT.  Any moron can “create” a YT video. And morons do make YT videos.  And morons squared follow these morons, creating a community of depressing superficiality.  One exception, though, is the ability of YT to SHOW how things are done. It is an excellent replacement of many instruction manuals. But I too, I’ll admit, watch tons of YT material. That makes me either a hypocrite or a moron. I even claim to learn from YT videos. But, then again, you are wrong. I am not either a moron or a hypocrite: I’m both. My hypocrisy stems from the fact that I spend time in the platform I so thoroughly criticize. I am a moron, since really not much I have seen in YT has educated me in a significant way. Even truths in YT are so fluid, that they tend to escape as. Exposure is just too fast. So, in the end, all my core knowledge is non-YT related. As a sometime YT creator myself, I find a negligible impact in the few that have claimed to watch my videos. The paradox lies in the fact that the same concepts and exposition strategies in my YT videos are used to a better effect in class, even in classes imparted in ZOOM. The same phenomenon can be glimpsed with the following example: The wonderful Feynman lectures on QM were taped in Cal-Tech during the 1960s. I watch them today, and I am in awe of his clarity. I can almost follow him. I get a sense of coziness with some pretty difficult concepts. But, when the lecture ends, I’m back to square one. Not so for the actual students in his course. They had the obligation to understand him. They were not surfing, they were enrolled in a QM class. Both, the students and I, are presented with the same exposition, but the outcome is very different. They succeed and learn, I just browsed, killing some time. It became entertainment. To conclude this first argument: YT can be deceptive as a learning platform.
The sidebar and its algorithm is shaping our culture. But YT has enormous power as a shaper of culture. Let’s say, you hate the PC culture and seek freer environments where you don’t care much for the LGBT, o microaggression, gender equality, etc. YT will have millions of videos of like-minded bigots like you. During the first years of YT, the algorithm for the side bar recommending videos to you was trained to recommend videos that would, in general, agree with you. In the end, all your YT experience would be immersed in this “video” community, or tribe. Intolerance through radicalization becomes the end-result. The same happens in the other end of the spectrum: PC must be enforced, gender (all 20 of them) equality should be sought, we need to pay reparation to ethnic minorities that were either born in America, and lost the war; or were captured elsewhere, and enslaved. You can go and get your “fix” in this tribe that will be in non-speaking terms with the non-PC community. Both tribes may be radical and intolerant of each other. A myriad of tribes can be created with such a process. Left- or Right- leaning tribes in the political spectrum. Terrorist tribes. Less contentious tribes can also be formed. The algorithm was devised to hook us to the screen.
Radicalization and intolerance jumped from the screen to the real world with some gruesome terrorist attacks in Nice, Paris, New Zealand, and other places. As a result of one of these (I don’t remember which), YT acquired a conscience. They enacted some changes: de-monetization and platform banishment of some extremists. They also changed the algorithm as to include suggestions of good quality videos of alternative – opposite -  views. Let’s say your feed is full of white supremacy content, suddenly a video of inclusion might emerge. Not the other way around, though. YT decided which core values were to be furthered. We don’t decide, they do. Actually, they don’t tell us what they are. But, they probably reflect a bland mix of atheistic let’s get along because we are equal, save the planet, we shouldn’t meddle with who you sleep with, and it’s Ok to kill unborn babies as long as the woman choses to do so. You are free to express all these values, as much as you want. I imagine, is like a religion: San Francisco based. I am old enough to be weary of  all fanaticism, even of this greenish goody loving kind. Not many of the San Francisco tenets ring true to me. But I’m sure you care little for my opinion. Besides, I would tweak the algorithm to foster better two-parent families, less homosexuality in the discourse, more hope for a possible meaningful afterlife, and a decent respect for human life even if unborn. Some, would suggest more bullfights, others might suggest increased globalization, or protectionism. Some would embrace a more tolerant migration policy, and so on. The algorithm can be shaped in many ways. What scares me is the fact that it works. Our conscience can be shaped through the algorithm. This reminds me of The Matrix, the movie. In this movie, reality for most was also just the result a computer algorithm. Breaking out of it was not easy, as we can watch “real” slow motion bullets used to deter it in the movie. So YT is becoming our moral compass. We are becoming a herd of morons adopting the foreign values of the San Francisco creed.
How can we break free of the YouTube culture creed? I believe we can break free of the YT culture creed. Let me give you a stepwise approach (I may do a YT video about it). First, we need to acknowledge the danger of foreign culture assimilation. The San Francisco creed may be perfect for a white opulent society where solidarity and hope is not needed. These can be replaced by insurance and the (mistaken) belief that technological advances will solve everything. By the time they have their terminal cancer, it’s too late… They swiftly die, and since there is no family, no one really suffers. In other cultures, family and friends are needed. Insurance won’t cover companionship. And in the hope department: technology has yet to solve some truly important issues of life – its meaning, and its aftermath. Second, we need to recognize the power of the algorithm. We need to understand that the algorithm is optimized to hook us to the screen, and to try to shape our conscience in the YT-way. Maybe, YT could provide the tools to customize and shape the algorithm for each one of us. Third, we need to subvert the algorithm. This can be done by setting strict YT viewing limits (let’s unhook us from the screen at OUR convenience), not to click on any recommendation that is not truly consistent with our core values, and search each video that we watch – forget the sidebar. Remember, the algorithm is powerful because we make it so.
PD: I call it San Francisco creed, but you can call it silicon-valley, or IT-creed, or whatever

DIPSOS AND THE GIMMIES: PRESIDENT TROLL’S CLASS OF 2017…WHERE ARE THEY NOW? by heidi siegmund cuda, aka @maewestside
I remember when I had my first beer.
I also remember when I had my last. With nearly two decades sans alcohol, maybe that’s why I have clarity to recognize the maladies of the dipsomaniacs, zapoys and gimmies surrounding President Troll. Upon closer scrutiny, there’s no shortage of DWIs, drug allegations, assault charges, money-love and drinking games linked to affiliates of this current White House. Clearly, being loaded probably helps lackeys justify their lackings. Truth, being the most lacking. Me, I’m just lactose intolerant. Truly, I love everyone.
But with the avalanche of lies spewed forth this weekend by President Troll and on Vichy MSM (which just can’t seem to get over its addiction of giving facetime to stooge$), I feel it’s helpful to stay rooted in reality and offer up sobering facts to calm one’s noives. Thus, reducing the need for the general public to imbibe, toke, sniff or pop to battle the sour ennui of witnessing a president* battle PDS (Putin Derangement Syndrome, an ailment first diagnosed by Simon Tisdall of the Guardian).
To counter the ever relentless and mutating phony narratives, here’s a roundup of the goings of some of President Troll’s erstwhile staffers and advisors. Whether they suffer from spiritual or physical maladies, may they get well soon.
SCOTT PRUITT: The former head of the Environmental Protection Agency spent the better part of the year defending the GOP’s “freedom to pollute,” (catchphrase, courtesy Paul Krugman), justifying his first class travels and cheap digs rented from a top energy lobbyist. Embroiled in myriad lawsuits, Pruitt submitted his resignation in July after multiple corruption investigations. EPA staff now have to figure out what to do with his $43k private phone booth. Washington Post reports Pruitt allegedly made only one outgoing call to the White House on his fancy phone. Score one for the “fiscal conservatives.” Alas, Pruitt will likely go down in history as the worst choice for one of the most important offices in America.
REX TILLERSON: It seemed a good fit: an oil industry captain as Secretary of State (lol), until Tillerson went rogue by backing the British government’s findings that Russia was guilty in the nerve agent attack in the U.K. That’s when Putin’s Apprentice went full nutter and fired Tillerson…on Twitter, which is where the former Exxon CEO learned of his dismissal. Those who would like to congratulate Tillerson for calling the president* a “moron,” can find him hosting a charity ball next month, with events taking place at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth and the Fairmont Dallas.
MICHAEL FLYNN: President Obama warned Trump not to hire Flynn. The rest is tragic history. Flynn, who forever will be haunted for leading a chorus of “Lock Her Ups,” is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to the FBI. The shortest serving National Security Advisor, Flynn admitted he had discussed Russian sanctions with the country’s Ambassador during the transition, after it had been disclosed. Currently, the three-star lieutenant general is cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller in his ongoing probe of Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
MICHAEL COHEN: Trump’s former personal lawyer just surrendered to the FBI today and no matter how President Troll tries to spin it, it’s bleak news for Trump Inc. Cohen reached a plea agreement with prosecutors investigating payments he made to women on behalf of Trump: pleaded guilty to eight counts and said he made illegal campaign contributions "in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for federal office." Cohen's lawyer, Lanny Davis, said Cohen had "testified under oath that Donald Trump directed him to commit a crime." Wow. And a disturbing tweet from Cohen a few days before Christmas in 2015 did not age particularly well. He Tweeted: “@HillaryClinton when you go to prison for perjury, your room and board will be free!” 12/19/2015. And so, here we are. Another carny en route to the Big House.
PAUL MANAFORT: Trump’s former campaign manager is in jail for witness tampering, while awaiting a jury verdict in the first of two trials for conspiracy against the United States, making false statements, money laundering, failing to disclose lobbying efforts on behalf of foreign entities and tax fraud. To truly understand the tragedy that is the rise and fall of Paul Manafort, check out “Russia, Are You Listening” with Matt Bevan on ABC Australia: http://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/russia-if-youre-listening/paul-manafort-the-dictators-fixer/9924894. Working with dictators of questionable integrity appears to be his sweet spot, and clearly, the money was never enough. THIS JUST IN: Jury found Manafort guilty on eight counts. Whispers of a pardon already fluttering in the air.
GARY COHN: In an effort to drain the swamp, Trump hired the president of Goldman Sachs to be his top economic advisor. Cohn, who stepped down after a year and is credited with helping to steer the massive tax cuts, reportedly resigned over Trump’s steel and aluminum tariffs, which Cohn opposed. Cohn, the former chief operating officer and president of Goldman Sachs, is currently unemployed. He was replaced by Larry Kudlow, whose well documented past with substance abuse resulted in his firing from Bear Stearns but didn’t get in the way of obtaining security clearance in the Trump administration.
STEVE BANNON: Referred to as a “parasite” in search of a host by a former Breitbart colleague in USA Today, Bannon has been on a global populist tour, acquiring facetime anywhere he can get it. The former Chief Strategist for the White House, the former executive chairman of Breitbart, the co-founder of the former Cambridge Analytica and the former husband of a third wife accused of smuggling drugs into a prison, Bannon is not exactly winning. You wouldn’t know that, however, if you tuned into MSNBC or ABC News or the New York Times or the Hill or NPR or CNBC or Newsweek etcetera over the last couple of days. Vichy MSM is falling all over itself to give the gasbag coverage. A petition is trying to ban him from stepping foot into the U.K., and billionaire Robert Mercer, who aided and abetted Bannon’s wingding aphorisms by funding the hacks of Cambridge Analytica and the spreading of hate rhetoric along the disinformation highway, is no longer bankrolling him. Although he’s been trying to find a new sponsor and continues his Leni Riefenstahl film career, he’s been publicly rejected by rightwing Euro-fascists.
ROGER STONE: The longtime friend and former advisor to the president* has indicated he is the unnamed source in Mueller’s latest indictment, and eight of his associates have now been interviewed by Robert Mueller’s team of prosecutors. Although he’s backpedaled on comments that he met with Julian Assange and had insider knowledge of the DNC hack, Stone acknowledged trading messages with Guccifer 2.0, which according to the Mueller indictment, is a front for Russian intelligence officers.
GEORGE PAPADOPOULOS: This sordid tale starts in a bar with Papadopoulos, a former foreign policy advisor to the Trump campaign. Whilst drinking in London, Papadopoulos told Alexander Downer, Australia's top diplomat to the UK, that Russia had dirt on Hillary Clinton. Papadopoulos soon thereafter struck a plea deal with Mueller's office, admitting to one count of lying to the FBI. He is now awaiting sentencing, with Mueller recommending six months.
OMAROSA MANIGAULT NEWMAN: As Sean Spicer, Anthony Scaramucci and Hope Hicks have learned, being a member of the Trump Admin isn’t exactly an enhancement on one’s resume. Manigault Newman one upped her former colleagues by going bigly. She didn’t just write a book and do the circuit, she kept receipts and is dropping them daily. I knew how much trouble America was in when moments after the 2016 Electoral College Victory Heist was announced, the Hollywood Reporter printed an “exclusive” feature on Manigault Newman’s elevator ride with Trump to accept the real fake presidency*. In the article, she threatened those who would not submit to Herr Trump, and I knew we were in for a long, ugly haul to regain the dignity of our country. Since no one who seeks redemption is beyond salvation, score one for reformed trolls everywhere.
HONORABLE MENTION:
ANDY PUZDER: I used to tell Andy I was his only friend in the media, so of course, he blocked me. Truly, I begged him not to hitch his star to the pageant guy, because I knew there was no way it would end well. He ultimately withdrew his nomination for Labor Secretary after allegations of abuse serviced, allegations he denies. A vocal supporter of Trump on the campaign trail, Puzder is now the former CEO of Carl’s Jr. and is currently promoting his latest book, “The Capitalist Comeback.” As someone who once produced and hosted a business series, the bottom line in the long run: it’s integrity that’s bankable.
***
There’s a theory that everything Trump touches turns to poo, unless Russia is picking up the tab (see Zembla docs on “The Dubious Friends of Donald Trump” for clarification). It’s understandable why a six-time bankrupt mob patsy would have allegiance to his providers de rubles, so calling former staffers ugly names and slandering our top intelligence agents is simply part of his job requirements as Putin’s Apprentice.
Yet as ugly as this divide in our country is, I am a firm believer that this too shall pass. We’ve weathered ugly before as a country, when that lame duck Buchanan was our president. Buchanan did nothing to prevent a country divided and handed over the keys to the White House to Abraham Lincoln with a shrug, leaving Lincoln to clean up his mess. It’s been awhile since the American people were tested and we were broadsided by Russia’s long game. It’s up to us now to save the republic, and I’m staying close to the truth and those who provide it.
To quote that great philosopher Winnie the Pooh from “Christopher Robin,” it appears I’ve come to the end of my thoughts.
Bottom’s up.
