Can we talk about the way the knights being pretty much the only medieval thing in Nimona is such a good visual metaphor for the way their bigotry is literally holding them in the past?

#like everything else is futuristic (clothes being the only other exception)#their hatred of monsters is literally visually outdated compared to everything else in the film #!!#also both times we see Bal and Ambrosius out of armour is when theyre being progressive #ie just before bal (a commonor) is about to be knighted and at the end of the film where they fully accept Nimona and open the walls #their armour is a metaphor for the institutes bigotry #nimona #nimona film #srsly go watch it if you havent yet #slightlyslothspeaks #nimona movie
