Turning to face the other, Pearce shook, instinctively gripping the hilt of his sickle. The fox was scared, rightfully so. It's not like he could get used to such people yet. Hearing the notion of sheep, Pearce grumbled and looked away.

"I-It is because I d-don't want to be s-seen. Y-You're b-better off forgetting m-my face r-regardless of the s-situation. I-I could say t-the same f-for you…"

A bad case of stutters, it was only normal when socializing with someone new. Using his other arm to scratch himself, Pearce looked hesitant, his ears pressed against his head.

the cerealist blinked. “you’re - dead? as well?” they squinted and leaned forward slightly as if to further deduce liam’s state before pulling back, clearing their throat. truthfully, the news should’ve been less of a surprise to samuel at this rate considering what the manor has been capable of bringing in as residents.

“I would be more than happy to give you some if you’ve gone without it for so long!” he couldn’t fathom not having any kind of cereal for a ‘while’ - it was unheard of. the cerealist held up the froot loop box for viewing. “these are froot loops! they taste wonderfully!” at the very least, perhaps he could help the other have a good experience with cereal! especially with however long a ‘while’ might’ve meant - based off of the mentioned death, anyways.

Liam took one last look at Glenn. The other seemed… more alive than earlier. His eyes were not glossed over, like it was when his hand was… acting up. He looked alive, and scared. But who wouldn’t be? Even he was scared, and he was the hunter of the duo. “More lived in… Well, there’s the dining hall; but unless there’s meals, there’s hardly anything to do. The garden might be good too? I’m alright with anywhere, really.” Liam hesitated on asking more about the… incident, earlier. Yet Liam could sense that if he tried, Glenn might collapse from the horror of having to rationalise and explain… that.

“Splendid idea! And since they’re right next to each other, we can simply visit both!”

The professor seemed still anxious, the incident weighing him down. Yet his fear was forcefully torn to pieces with every second his memory faded and all that had bothered him was lost to the dark corner in the back of his mind. He smiled with uncertainty.

The professor seemed back in high spirits with absolutely nothing weighing him down. Like nothing. Had ever. Happened. He smiled with determination.

“Let us go immediately. If you were so kind as to lead the way?”

And so they went on their merry little adventure and met a few nice people in the end.

Hello! I am Mod Saturday and this is my first essence event! This essence is based on the novel And Then There Were None, so please be warned that every single one of these characters ends up dead. Sorry fellas. However, unlike the book, the murderer is not the same as in the book. We will slowly find out who the murderer is as the skins are complete. The murderer ends up committing suicide, so do be warned. I also ask that every muse sent is an adult.

Each mun is allowed 2 skins max.

Eight people receive a mysterious invite to a secluded mansion, where a butler and housekeeper live. They explain that the host who invited them was not here yet, and would only come later on. As the 10 come for their dinner together, they realise only 9 of them are left.
