Margaretha Zelle, on an aerial hoop! This is actually one of her b-tier costumes I really enjoy, “Spotlight Affect.” I’m also getting back into Cabaret (the musical) a lot, and Burlesque (the art form) so expect to see more pieces inspired by that. Might make an AU, we shall see

I genuinely do not understand why I feel frustration at hullaballoo while I look at signalis and utena and I'm so deeply in love with all the feelings it gives me,the hurt and the sense of dread, but like with that idv storyline it genuinely feels like something is missing,missed potential or just mishandling of stuff,yet I cant quite put my finger on what it is.

Pretty sure my problem isnt with margie but parts of her writting (mostly how flat she feels as a character/individual) is indicative of my issues with idv's writting as a whole.

I have no idea why he’s familiar, or if it’s just my imagination playing a cruel trick on me. Whether I recognize him, or if... if I recognize the blood and pain and terror and — he’s just the deliverer, or... both.

“I can’t imagine what he found out, but... I’ll never forget the way he looked at me when I saw him again.”

I’ve been thinking about Margaretha Zelle non stop for three days (but I can feel the Antonio brainrot seeping back in)

In any case, I’m thinking about making some kind of .. Cabaret/burlesque AU with her and the hullabaloo cast.. think vintage goth vibes, and that one panic at the disco album (a fever you can’t sweat out)

Margie is VERY sally bowles coded. If I wanted to do Just a Cabaret the musical AU, I’d definitely start there, but I want this to be a mix of things, with its own storyline

Soooooo how we doin after Act 2 of Closing Night/lh

I've been crying for poor vio after playing through it

honestly it was everything i couldve wanted, i really really enjoyed it :D after how i felt with the last major lore updates i was kinda dreading the worst but they've always been really consistent with hullaballoo and it shows. i'll put read more for spoilers

the violetta scene was so painful, honestly the whole update was so painful haha, but even when i saw it coming it hit so hard ;-; i also love that the a/b tiers that we get for it are directly related to the story but oh my god it makes it hurt so much more LOL.

murro blaming himself for violettas death.... i wanted to reach through the screen and pop weepy like a balloon. weepy's voice actor did such a good job in the whole thing too oh my god. it was all just so good i loved the whole thing :')

sorry (not really) to the idv fans who can only manage characterizing mike as a ditzy innocent twink though having to come to terms with the fact that he's actually an insane traumatized man :P the signs were there from the start don't know what game you were playing
