surprise, you get all of them:

Moondrop: Corey Wilder’s Moon voice is the closest I can describe it (very close to the canon voice but not as guttural and with less pitch fluctuations. This is not the gremlin Moon doing cartwheels and somersaults, this Moon works a 9 to 5.)

Moonie: None, he is mute (at most, i imagine him and chibi Sunny to make those anime creature noises when they hop around stuff.)

Mooncake: Nick Pitera (a lover of fairy tales and romance, he has the voice of a Broadway lead. When he was a daycare attendant, he enjoyed singing showtunes with the kids, singing the parts for the hero, the princess, the sidekick, and even the villain.)

Lune: HWASA (but wait... isn't this Echo's voice?—a breathy, sultry voice that once belted harmonies and solos for adoring fans. Now she lends her voice to hum a soft tune, the only part of her now that graces the present day.)

13: Henry Huo (enigmatic, serene and haunting; light as a breeze passing through the branches of an osmanthus tree yet as all-encompassing as the night sky. Before he escaped the palace, this lonely moon would often sing to himself if only to imagine the echoes were the sounds of his companions beyond four walls of his confinement.)

Miel: Moonbyul (melodic raps and vocals that range from soft to sharp. When this moon was remodeled into a nanny bot, she was designed to be sweet as honey. It wasn't until she was discovered by an ex-Sun bot, when she learned to create a voice for herself.)

Seli: Chogakusei (a deceivingly soft voice gives way to sharp yelps and low growls. Often quiet, this moon expresses his tumultuous emotions through song.)

meet Phanes, the Bishop of Life, the Goat's world counterpart to Narinder! my friend @yourmajesty002 helped me name him and he is apart of me and @binxxu's lore for COTL :3 we are also planning on calling this "The Cursed Idol AU" because there is triple meanings behind the name that i will explain on a later past :D

lore WIP -> Phanes wanted to find a way to reverse death for his followers since he is called "He of Vitality", but the method he came up with, using his own ichor, corrupted them and gave them the "cursed" trait. The other bishops found out about this, sealed him away in the afterlife, and unlike Narinder, didn't get anyone as "gifts" for company, so he slowly went mad with the idea of making everyone immortal. A millennia later, there was a prophecy where a goat will become the downfall of the world, and so they had all goats executed, which leads the the Goat meeting Phanes and becoming his final vessel.

introducing weather & warfare, a fanmade splatoon idol group!! :)

lester and shelly form a primitive variant of the more modern idol groups that host the news sections in inkopolis and splatsville. under management of coastcast corporate, they hosted the show “weather & warfare” which was aired throughout all of inkadia from the years 11964 to 11972, announcing primarily weather conditions and stage updates. during their time on air they were the faces of various splatfests due to coastcast sponsoring the events.

lester grew up in the splatlands, a secluded and deeply cultured region at the time, before moving to inkopolis to host weather & warfare with her counterpart shelly. she was raised with a labor-oriented and positive mindset with which she continuously strives upwards on the social ladder. her energetic and passionate demeanor makes her come across as pompous, but she has a big heart.

“i love what i do, and i’m happy to have shelly by my side. brilliant woman, comes from the very top drawer, you can tell by ‘er comportment. ‘course getting to this point, it’s not been a cakewalk… but whatever life throws at you, y’oughta roll with the punches. i stood by that, and look where i’m now!”

shelly, while being of octarian origin and residence, stems from a bloodline that is financially powerful and highly respected by inkling folk. with this leverage, her family was able to move far away from inkadia independent of the army as the great turf war broke out, before she moved to inkopolis to host weather & warfare along with lester. despite growing up in a vastly different environment than most octolings, she retains the stoic, collected mannerisms that are idealized by octarian society.

“i pursued this job supposing that showbusiness will suffice. it turned out to be much more than i bargained for, and not at all in a bad sense. lester, although i incipiently held her for a dunce, showed me another perspective, a new incentive i’d been blind to. before i knew it, i caught myself riding along the versatile waves of inkopolis.”

Missed opportunity to have the 'magical god-killing macguffin' weapon be Andruil's spear. Rather than have an idol somehow become a dagger (not to mention cleansed of the blight and somehow expect us to just accept this - no questions) it could be this?

She made weapons and hunted Gods? The Evanuris, according to this myth, were frightened enough that Mythal had to come battle her?

Also imagine Ghilan'nain being killed by Andruil's spear...raised to Godhood by Andruil's hand and then slain by the weapon forged by her hand???

About Ink, he's just canon Ink but without the paint vials.

To the audience and even close friends, he always fake his emotion. On the outside he's always that one guy who acts before thinking, reckless and joyful, but he does that bc he wants to be likable. He has a fear of abandonment (idk the phobias) so he turned himself into the stereotypical guy that everyone loves.

Every Night at his bed alone, his eyes turn blank as he questions himself ab his value in life. But his goldfish brain, the next morning he'll be like nothing ever happened.

And Blue, he's unfortunately got alot of hate bc of his well-mannered and cheerful personality, ppl thought he was trying to outshine himself from the other members and being "overly confident".

Blue is a strong guy so he didnt care ab it as much, but with him having rumors about him trying to put his friends down hurts him alot. Blue genuinely cares about his friends and empathize with the fans, even the haters!

He wants to be someone who always have a shoulder for somebody to lean on, so he surpressed his feelings alot, he moment he got an emotional outburst he'll get really sensitive, depressed and distant, but when that happens he'll go somewhere quiet to calm himself down.

Dream knows all about their actions and feelings, he never said it out loud bc he knows they definitely dont want him or anyone to know ab it. Bc of that he tries his best to comfort them, hangout alot, sleepover, brainstorm music ideas to try to distract them from their negativity.

And at the down times, he'll have deep talks with them. Dream is really the big brother figure for them
