Would u guys be interested in me posting wips again?
Cause i used to but then....just stopped. Idkw tho.
I dont post alot of my art as i used too and im sorry abt that. I HAVE been drawing. Alot. But im like "should i post this to tumblr and notify like 16 ppl (art tags), and make a long post, for only this? Doesnt even look that good" so i just post it to twitter cause nobody checks that except my brother
I have a fair bit of art in my sketchbook most of you guys havent seen yet that i just felt were not too good.
So um yea if u guys want me to post em here soon and/or want me to start showing my wips again lemme knoww (workin on a kitty as i type dis)

3, 15 and 29 for the artist asks!
Thanks anon. Kinda been feeling ehh all day so yayyy asks
3. How many classes have you taken?
None actually! Self taught. Unless u count that painting class basically for toddlers where we painted this haha
other than that nope never. I realllyy want to this summer tho in between volunteering n stuff. I wanna get a job soon so i can pay for em
15. How long does an average piece take you to complete?
Dear goodness young anon thats a v good question. A long time xD its usually on average 3-6 hrs each. But if its smtn like an eye it'll only be like an hr. But if its something new im not too familiar with or it has alot pf detail it'll take 7-8 hrs. The longest drawing ive done was about 12 hrs one time. So it all really depends. But yea on average about 3-6 hrs
29. For traditional artists: How do you usually start on a big piece? (Light sketch, colored lead, sketchpaper, etc)
Oooo i like this one. Ok so i usually start with a v v light sketch with a mechanical pencil. Idkw but i like to do sketches better with those than the #2 pencils. I also dont use any fancy paper tbh. My sketchbook im currently using is a p cheap one from five below. But id say hobby lobby has great cheap notebooks and Wal-Mart does too! I get most of mine from walmart for like $5 and under. Also fir when u do the sketch dont focus too much on like "ehh this doesnt look too much like the ref or how its supposed to look" cause hun once u fill it all in later on it'll most likely look awesome. Also focus on the main parts first. If you wanna sketch out the lil details too you can. But i dont do every detail cause then it takes longer and plus since its a light sketch it can fade quick if your hand is on it n stuff. After u got the sketch done and it looks a-okay id start on the parts of the drawing thats most important. Like for example, rn im drawing this guy
And whats the most important parts? The eyes and mouth and neck right? So as u see
Thats what im doing. Idk like this way its like if i get the important parts done first then the rest is easier. Instead of waiting the whole time till the end and u might mess it up (whichhh i know from past experiences believe me lol)
I hope this helped!! I would put more but i feel like its really long xD but if u want more just send me an ask and I'll gladly answer!^^
