Finally finished the most unimportant character in Daggerfall, King Gothryd himself. He smiles because he's looking at a kitten or something and he forgets about his miserable little existence for a moment.

He’s one of my favs, he does nothing but stand and look angry, he’s such a chill dude except when he sends assassins after the agent and when he ragekills King Camaron.

Some headcanons I have for him under the cut!

Our king is just a big loser. I mean he tried to help daddy Lysandus fake his death so he could run away with his mistress and failed; he has a wife who probably despises him becuase he killed her father; some random ass agent stole his totem and his mom does weird things when not supervised.

I don’t think he actually planned for Lysandus to die, I mean he would have been king even if the plan works and Lysandus successfully fakes his death so he had no reason to actually kill his old man. Idk though maybe he was angry that Lysandus cheated on his mom, we love a king who respects his mother.

He has like four kids and one of them is named after King Camaron which was 100% Aubk-i’s decision, meaning that he’s a mansplain manipulate malewife.

He’s the type of guy who drinks his caffee with at least three spoons of sugar.

He doesn’t like the agent (understandable) but respects their skills.

Overall he’s just a sad little guy.

Woodborne is next and I feel like the world doesn’t need an anime Woodborne but I will draw him anyway.

re: all my love fic. did you have any "keywords" for each character? (aka "stars, gardens" for wooje, "safety, unchanging" for hyunjoon) if you did, could you share them, or any of the threads of inspiration you kept in mind while writing?

i never had like, specific keywords at least not like i was aware of it but now that i think about it... i had a loT of inspiration.

like hyunjoon for example, obviously the mustang is a big part point but i chose that because mustangs just resonated with the character and what they sort of "stand for" i mean theyre a ford. all americana, freedom, romance, like.. mustangs have a sort of vibe to them. the same vibe john cougar mellencamp has. also, flannels, the vibe there. a key word for him, i guess would be consistent, and supportive. also--the moon, subtlety, steadiness.

wooje i connected to really fast blowing wind and highways; oddly enough that one scene in chapter one--where he pulls over on the shoulder of the i-5 and throws up--is a key part of his character. lmao? like, when i think of him, i think of that. the cold air and the strong fucking wind blowing past bc of all the cars going >80 mph. idk how to describe that. a big part of him was how light he was compared to everything around him too--his pale white skin in comparison to the dark discolored cigarette burns, his gold california soul compared to the darker washington greens. i relate him to the sky a lot. although i do put a lot of evening scenes in i think hes actually a creature of daylight. not of the sun, but the light blue sky and denim jackets and i never made him wear a denim jacket did i? goddamn it. so for him, light (as in the shade adjective not as in the type light noun), and sky, and nature. a lot of him is connected to nature, u can tell from my metaphors lmao.

minseok is all powdered sugar and CARDIGANS (!!) i imagine he had a very all over the place but chic and cute fashion sense. hes all candy colors and dependability (like mentioned in chap 1, he used to have pink hair hehe) he was stability, and home. really homey. like bring in the fucking xenia and agape (love in hospitality and in altruism). i think minseok, especially, is capital l Love. thats partly why i made him say the fic name in the letter heh. he was one of if not the strongest tie wooje had to home (platonic relationships matter..!!) he is Love as a person.

sanghyeok is red roses and Father. he is older brother. in the flashbacks, u can see he shows reluctance at being called hyunjoon/minhyungs brother, esp at first, and he STILL kind of feels that. hes uncomfortable with the position hes put in, much more than seongwoong is, yet he fits it so, so well. more associations: math. whiskey, cigarettes, bad habits he knows he should quit but cant. sanghyeok as a character is... well i dont wanna dive TOO deep bc i have a solo fic for him in the drafts but yes o7

seongwoong i mostly thought about him in relation to the shop? like i think of him and i think, traditional husband. oil, cars, gears, whatever the fuck. mechanic. stability, dad jokes. cool uncle. but he also has a softer side- homemaker! baker! gardener. hes all constant smiles, glasses held up by his smiling cheeks.

minhyung is the grounded one. he is very, very grounded in reality, but he become very silly around minseok. hes big loving himbo but hes also.. the most serious of them all. idk. hes like, prime older brother material but hes low on the totem pole. so like the oldest of that small group of cousins at the family get together who has no REAL power within the family. just within the cousins. and, hell, they get pulled away once their parents call for them.

Based off the line from Mulan 2 " Crickey, I'm gonna break them up!"

Idk where this story is going I have no plan I'm writing and we'll see. This is for me, but please feel free to leave a comment.

" Good moring!" Layla says rather loud and enthusiastically to another student as they all slowly trickle into the class.

Layla is young, 22 year old. She is also a teacher in her home town. Layla never thought teaching would be her calling, but she is really amazing at it and seeing her head start kids recognize words and have fewer bathroom accidents brings more joy then she ever thought possible.

Layla has always been young at heart, although she is in her early twenties, she is still mistaken for a student at the school. Often hearing the tell tale " Why aren't you in class?", from another teacher who isn't familiar with her always makes her laugh and roll her eyes.

Layla teaches head start, it's a program for low income kids to start school a year early so that the child and parent feel prepared for the start of kindergarten. Although head start is an excellent program that all families wish to send their child to and can.

When Layla started her new position at the school, just a few months prior, the room they gave her was obviously used as summer storage. The room was essentially a blank canvas, meaning she could freely arrange the room without the input of the teachers who have been there longer. Hopefully.

As soon as she finished placing the last chair and cleaning the dust off, there was a knock at her door. It was Principal Barkely, the man who hired Layla, smiling with what looked like two paper to go cups and a large box of some sort.

During the interview with Principal Barkely, Layla got the sense that he found her attractive. Being the beautiful young women she is, she got this vibe from many people all the time.

Layla likes to say she was never pretty until the day of her graduation. She was 17 at the time, and her father told her she was beautiful. After that day, she started to pay attention to how clothes fit and hung on her body. This unfortunately led to a horrible eating disorder. However, with her mother being a well-respected and well-known nurse in this small town, it was easy for her to set up an in home rehab for her little girl.

Layla mom always told her she was amazing. Her father always told her she was his favorite. However, neither her mom nor her dad ever commented on her beauty for the simple reason that they thought their daughter knew just how beautiful she is. She didn't.

Now, in her twenties and one failed relationship in her back pocket, Layla is aware of just how beautiful she is. And how beauty can attract the worst kind of people.

Layla has beautiful tan skin. It's the shade of khaki but brighter, and her undertones are red, pink, and deep chocolate. She has amazing full lips that are chocolate lined and plump red that deepens when she bites them. Her hair is wild, with curls and coils. Having bleached, dyed, cut, and shaved it, it continues to bounce back stronger than before. She is on the short side, being 5'2, with wide hips and a flatter stomach. She is a natural beauty. )She hasn't gone to a gym since sinor year, and she hopes to keep in that way. )

So when her new boss walked into her classroom, that is coincidentally down the hall from the principals office, she knew boundaries were going to have to be set in place.

"Hi!" She greeted happily, not wanting to come off as rude if he was just being friendly.

" Hello, I see you have been more than busy" Mr. Barkely looked around in amazement.

He knew what the old storage room looked like before he hired you. Although he did offer to have a janitor or two help you move things. You told him you wouldn't want to bother them, with the school year fast approaching. Layla was hired last minute as, the previous teacher hired quit with zero explanation.

" Yes, like I said. I'm a hard worker, a fast learner, and I love creating a base love for learning in young children." You said just as you practiced the morning of your interview.

" I moved some old cabinets, to the other storage. I kept a few for art supplies, a place for extra clothes, and sheets, blankets, and cots for nap." Layla begins to explain but Mr. Barkley waves her off with a smile.

" You don't have to explain anything to me..." he starts.

"This was storage if anything had a name that's one thing. " Layla starts to shake her head, going back to think if anything had a name, but she was sure nothing did.

"But you were and still are free to anything you see. I want you to feel comfortable and welcome." He said as he smiled.

Layla smiled in return and swiped her hand across her forehead. It was still August, nearing the end, but that didn't stop the heat.

" Speaking of feeling welcome," Mr Barkely raises the items balanced in his hands, " Don't worry, it's not coffee, it's ice tea to help with the heat." He chuckles.

Layla walks over tword Mr. Barkely, reaching her hand out for the cup. " Thank you, Mr. Barkely." Layla says in a sigh truly thankful, for the drink.

She had come in early, around 6:30 in the morning. She slipped in with a janitor after some convincing that she was indeed a teacher and not a kid wanting to pull a prank. Unfortunately, this meant that she had been working non-stop, for what seemed like maybe a few hours. But when she checked the clock she cleaned and put fresh batteries in at 8, it told her it was now 1:30 in the afternoon.

As she accepted the drink, she could smell what was in the box before she saw. Pizza. It was from her favourite shop downtown.

" Also, a little something to eat, I asked around to see when you got here, and they told me it was early. I saw that you hadn't stopped to eat, so lunch!" He said a little breathless and happy. Layla appreciated the sentiment and motioned over to her new desk and one of the many empty chairs for him to join her.

Layla and Mr. Barkely talked for a minute. Mostly small, talk and some lesson planning.

When she looked at the clock again and noticed it was now 2:15, the pizza was all crust and ger tea was gone.

" Well, would you look at that." She started to say with a yawn. " I have been here almost a full 8 hours! If this is how time works in this building, the school year is gonna fly right by!" Lalya exclaimed .

Mr Barkely turned his head to the clock that hung above the door, and nodded with a frown. " I don't want to keep you any longer, but I do have something else to talk to you about." He started. Layla shifted in her seat, hoping nothing was wrong.

" Because, of what happened woth the teacher prior to you. We canceled the head start program. However, after we hired you, a new list of students started and the old list was forgotten." He looked at Layla trying to say without saying a huge mistake was made.

" So," he continued, " with this being a small town word got around and the parents of the students from the first list are demanding ' first come, first served and they are correct. So the class size for you have unfortunately doubled and you will need an assistant. "

This wasn't bad news at all, maybe a little nerve racking to Layla at first having never had a class size over 10.

" So how many, lovely dovley's are we talking about?" She asked in a little chuckle.

" So far 20, but with an assistant you can have up to 25." Your eyes widening. " They would all alternate days, so you wouldn't have more than 12, but it's gonna be tight ."

Layla is ok with this. She doesn't have much choice. " ok, so who is my assistant?" Layla is curious and hopes whoever they are, likes how she set up the class.

" Again with this all being last minute, the assistant gym teacher, Victor, will be in with you. For the time being, at least. "

Layla loves this idea, a gym teacher has energy and probably very easy going. She hates having children at tables all day. She hates, being at tables all day, so this will bring a little extra energy to the classroom.

Smiling, she says, " I can't wait to meet him!"

After a long brake from this saga, it returns for her birthday! However, I should start this by saying the obvious fact that I don't like they way Nami and women in general are drawn, I really wish the mangaka had a middle ground between the 'If I sneeze I'll snap in half sexy girls' and the 'i will crush you in my fat rolls ugly girls' types but here we are and this is what we've got. As a result, most of my connects would usual be how I wish she her skirts would be longer n such but I'm not gonna do that because I don't want it to get in the way of the actual content in the post. Let's go: NAMI!!

'First appearance': it's not the first at all, idk what to call it tho, it's her 3rd. it's just the one in We are so technically counts. It's probably the nostalgia, but I love this look. I can't place why but I'm not even mad at the weird stripe lengths design, it's just cute to me. The sleeves are short but long enough to hide her tattoo and I adore her skirt too like the dark orange parts remind me of blood oranges!

Baratie, Loguetown, Little Garden, first Arabasta outfit, (& Long Ring Long Land) Post-Arabasta & Post-Enies Lobby: This was probably a common or local brand for her cos she's rocking that skirt in all different colors 👌 Also, I just wanna start by saying, all her t shirts actually go past her hips? So her skirts would actually be longer than they look cos she's actually draw quite strange when in tops. Anyway, shes starting off strong with this nice pink top n I like the nice shade with the white. Then, a dark blue for the first and only time ever for Nami to pick out. I personally think lighter colors are nicer for her tho. Bringing us to this BEAUTIFUL baseball jersey with purple sleves, get it bitch oml! 😘 I don't think that skirt matches very well but it's still cute. Then, she tries stripes and I think it works out well and I think the 3/4 length look is good for her too so that one is nice. The diamond pattern tank top is actually one of my favourite Pre-Skip looks just because it's so well matched with the skirt. You can't see in the picture but the dot inside the circle is the same yellow as her top so it's just very well done, definitely an actual set. And the lace? Amazing. I hate the feel of lace myself but it looks amazing.

Baratie, Drum Island, Post-Arabasta, Long Ring Long Land Whisky Peak, Post-War, Punk Hazard: Now, I don't actually have much to say about these, I just think they are worth mentioning.i like Nami in shirts with text, I always spend way too long trying to read em lol. Anyway, I like the Drum Island shirt & Punk Hazard shorts because ✨ stripes ✨

Water 7 & Enies Lobby: Nami's first dress! And also a new skirt! I like this frilly style more, I wish it stayed around tbh but oh well. Water 7 gives us the iconic blue shirt & tie with matching shoes and it's a blessing really. Then, Enies Lobby gave us the strange Denim outfit that Paulie hated with all his mind 🤣 At the time,I thought it was a cool outfit. It's not bad, the too looks a bit armour so it's go that going for it and that jacket slaps in my opinion. I like long sleeves on cropped jackets.

Thriller Bark: Pink! When I saw the first outfit, I thought something super bad was going to happen because it looked fancy and that anime for 'time to die'. Lucky for her, nothing happened at all apart for her just looking really grown up. I like her hair too, super cute. In the next fit, it's a total flip, quite punk. Her belt is a nice contrast from her skirt and I LOVE her top! Her party outfit looks like an itchy lace and the straps, while I live frills, look very irritating. It looks cute but I could never wear it myself. Lastly for this set is one of my all time favourites for Nami because she gets to wear a necklace! It's very small and hard to see but I think it's amazingly cute. This combination of her hair being down again, a nice pokadot shirt, full length jeans and a big smile from making a friend makes it all the best.

Sabaody Archipelago & Levely: As with the 3rd outfit set, I just think these are neat. She's rockin' a different necklace, shorts and a 90s style flower top then in Levely she's chillin' in a simple puff sleeve shirt with hearts a cross the chest. Simple looks, very effective

Fish-Man Island, Punk Hazard & Dressrosa: Fish-man island comin' in hot with the iconic Timeskip look and belt! This, I much prefer the Crimin bra because it's simple plus her hair is up really cutesy. Also it's funny cos that would have been expensive for she didn't steal all the outfits she did. Looks wise, Punk Hazard is my favourite but I really dislike that it doesn't cover the bottom of her boobs and its not really supportive. I think it's my favourite because it reminds me of Frankys vibes. Dressrosa's is also really cute but once again looks like the frills would tickle a bit. Also I like her shorts.

Zou: A DRESS! not only that but it's Purple, a color she's not worn before more than as sleeves years back. It's an interesting dress style, very lacy and would brake easy but it's VERY nice to look at. Her next looks bring back the ruffley frills and basic shirts. The half button shirt has her 2nd number on it and the colour matches her skirt! I like the purple coming back in her next skirt but what I like way more is her last Zou look. It's a nice halter neck with black lace trim then to make it better, her skirt is a wonderful shade of red that has an adjustable rope belt with little gold buttons on! I just- 🥰

Whole Cake Island & Wano: everyone's lord and fashion savour, WHOLE CAKE!!! I mean look at how cute she is in that first one! That fairytale aesthetic really owns my ass at this point! Then it's a total shift with that more mature sexy style red turtleneck dress no sleeves? The side by side vibes are 😘👌 love em! Plus, this arc gave us more purple AND 2 box neckline dresses which I think with Nami they really work. The forts Wano ouyfit is only here cos blue really works for her. It look okay but I don't think they are as nice as most people do. Idk what it is about it, I think it's just too square. The 2nd is nicer to my eyes, idk

holy shit the absolutely dreamy looking pink gown on billie? beautiful. princess-like. loving the hazy look to the long train. could use some accessories/jewelry tho, methinks. but even w/o it, it’s a lovely dress.

grimes’ outfit honestly makes me think space warrior or smth n i rly like it? i dont typically like tht hairstyle, n the pattern on the outfit is still a lil eh, but i like the metallic mask n the makeup n the way the fabric drapes in gradient to black at the bottom. also a SWORD? is tht even allowed?? like, it apparently Was but surely they mustve got it checked out w met gala b4 bringing it, right? fun fact, it’s made from a melted AR-15, which kinda goes w the america theme, ironically enough. idk i rly dig this odd look.

love the dress n hair on lupita!! luv the glitter n overall shape tho n her hair!! is so pretty honestly. idk who this lady is but shes stunning.

frank ocean’s outfit is simple n ok BUT i dont the weird ugly robotic baby he was carrying. the outfit it had on too? like this... weird green patterned onesie or smth? UGLY as hell. at least chose a better onesie if ur gonna hav the weird baby prop... it doesnt even match w his outfit n the pattern is such a fucking ugly 1.

megan fox rly out here giving us devil mistress  holy shit. it looks cool as all hell i luv it. hot as Hell, pun intended. 

addison rae looks boring, im ngl :I the dress isnt all tht pretty n it’s kinda simple. like, not inherently ugly, per se (tho im not a v big fan of how it looks at the top of the dress) jus... feels basic. 

ciara’s is football-themed, thus does matcht he theme 4 the event, america, n i do like the shade of green she used also glittery fabric n the shape of the dress near the bottom, but the parts to the side of the dress where it shows skin feel like they bring the look down, honestly... if it didnt hav them, it’d look better. but bc it has them, im not personally a big fan. 

barbie ferreira is giving flapper vibes, n w the theme being america tht’s v fitting! lots n lots of pearls~ id say quite a few too Many pearls, as i wouldve preferred more fabric n stuff? but i can see what she was going for n i dont terribly dislike it! it’s ok. 

kim’s outfit is ugly, end of story. dont try 2 go 4 so unique tht it looks awful. unique? yes. no1 wouldve expected tht, but it’s so...?? why cover ur face n everything else n then make it look so Odd i jus.. ew. no. 

kendall on the other hand looks nice! draping jewels (esp diamonds or smth in tht whitish-grey sparkly color) n transparent fabrics r a classic tht’s used v often n the same applies here. looks nice! luv the way the jewels curve down.

ppl in the replies r calling olivia rodrigo’s outfit boring n while i can kinda agree, it doesnt look too terribly bad? i dig the outfit, esp the lace fishnet fabric. i think it’s p cute! but compared to all of these pretty gowns, yea it might b a bit underwhelming. not ugly tho!

ppl r rly ecstatic abt lorde’s outfit on the other hand, but i dont like it? the fabric reminds me of like, curved construction paper or tortillas n it jus feels p boring 2 me i dont like it at all :I

miss biles... it just is Not hitting. mayb if the puffy gray fabric didnt suddenly widen at the hips it’d still b a bit more acceptable, albeit still not great, but the texture on the grey, puffy, prob heavy fabric isnt great n is jus too like.. dense-looking i dont like it at all. 

justin n hailey look boring. tht’s jus a normal black suit n black dress, bro. absolutely NOTHING special. i do like hailey’s dress, esp the neckline, but dear god theyre both jus so bland? no accessories? no nothing? tht’s jus a straight narrow black dress, hailey. tht’s jus a regular suit, justin. this is the Red Carpet.

gigi... nice hair n gloves n accessories (tho the necklace doesnt rly seem 2 match? it seems a bit golder) but the dress?? ugly. Ugly. i dont care if ppl r praising her in the twt replies. the stiff fabric of the bland, boring outer dress makes it all the fucking worse. like a cardboard roll only more flexible bc Fabric.

i like the red, white, n blue draping fabric on saweetie’s outfit, also it ties in w the ameria theme, but the rest of the outfit (or, as much as i can see bc her front is kinda obscured in the photo) jus.. isnt pretty.

i rly rly luv the dress on naomi, my word! the colors swirl rly nicely together, but i think the black part of the dress would b nicer if as a lower arm coat or smth instead of attached 2 the dress like how i think it is. also dont like her hairstyle, but i think it’s referencing smth cultural n has meaning tht i jus dont understand so! cant say much abt tht. the main dress part tho is rly nice.

chalamet is good until the converse gjhsdn why did he think.. tht converse (or shoes resembling them, as some1 in the replies said they might not actually b converse) would b red carpet appropriate. also the crotch of the pants shouldve been a bit higher imo cuz it looks like its a bit lower, like harem pants but not baggy or quite as low.

i luv the blue glitter gown on miss gorman! wow how glittery! n tht’s not sarcasm btw i genuinely luv glitter gjhsnd but it fits the america theme n is such a bright eye-popping color.
