i'm doing this so i don't forget when i wake up shshd but uhhh @zhaoleiis aka bear/sagetual tagged me to talk abt my 2021 hopeful reading list!

the only reason i read so many books this year was bc i listened to a lot of audio books on the commute to work nd while i was working @ my 2nd job so i'm hoping i can find smth that'll give me that opportunity in the new year.

that being said, here's what i'm for sure planning on rn (i was JUST compiling a list a few days ago so this is good right shdjfnf):

gideon the 9th (been on my reading list ALL YEAR but every time it came available i was too busy or not in the mood to read smh) also it was luka approved nd luka got me into queen's thief.

jade city trilogy, idk what the series is called but i started the book nd tried out the audio too nd i like both so i'll see what format i end up going thru with. concept is rad af tho.

the raven king is bc i never got around to it this year, after i finished blue lily, lily blue (i reread the 1st 3 to then read trk for the first time, fun fact) i just wanted to listen to other stuff.

pip's latest url is a series called temeraire with DRAGONS which is all i needed to know to be interested. i think i read a few chpts before my loan ran out but i liked what i read.

axiom's end by lindsay ellis bc her videos are funny and i'm curious. also @/bibliosphere's book hunger pangs if i can snag a physical copy when she releases one.

furyborn trilogy, app says im 23% in nd i rly rly lov the concept. equal parts historical royalty vs futuristic-syfy of the same realm k years later

all of the expanse books, i adore the tv show so i wanna read all the books that inspired it nd see how its different / if there's more w the plot nd characters i missed
