A former member of Councilor Yurei’s party who was also a double agent for Lord Belos as the Golden Guard in the 1920s. Originally distant and submissive, Ethel began to mellow out upon encountering Yurei at a secret location in the city of Patalegus on the Boiling Isles. Furthermore, the future Oracle Councilor’s stance on wild witches changed Ida’s perception of Belos’ practices and she became more loyal to Yurei than her former superior.

During her time in her second workplace, Ethel acted as a spy while leading wild witches to safety. However, her work ended when she was knocked unconscious by a Belos loyalist during a mission and got taken to the lord himself for execution.

Decades later, Ethel’s ghost lurked in the skeleton pit until the Day of Unity: after the fall of Emperor Belos, she haunts the floors of the Titan’s Council at the Skull, mainly wherever Councilor Yurei goes (and it does not mind Ida’s presence near it). However, Ethel requested to leave the skeleton pit to live with Yurei and due to her undying loyalty to it, she was given the go to leave the “nest.”

Because of that, Yurei jokes Ethel as the “10th Titan’s Councilor” even if she does not work as one and was given a true rest in its and Jasmine’s house.
