okay sorry didnt mean to go on like that i just have many feelings about this. As A Gamer.
#idk man most of my childhood games were. shovelware. bad. objectively trash.#but i play them now. and look at their horrible review scores and its like.#okay the number says Terrible but my experience is saying ‘well its complicated. theres mindless levels and theres loving details.’#whats another one uhhhhh. hm. OH. phineas and ferb across the 2nd dimension. the wii game again.#its not a great game! its not! it can be annoying and glitchy and bad! but its also so filled with charm and clear love for the source#material and it can be very pretty in a cartoony oversaturated way!#or what about uhhhhm. the marvel super hero squad game. yes the one for that cartoon no one remembers.#again! its not good! but there’s love in there!! the characters all work in such unique ways!! the beat-em-up style is fun!!#or what about the suite life of zack and cody on the ds. its got. well. its got. uh. yeah actually nvm this one is just bad-#but my POINT is. these games matter. they deserve to be preserved and they deserve to be looked at. they are interesting in their own right!#thank you for coming to my impromtu tumblr talk. theres a chocolate truffle under your chair for listening to me
