Wow, I sure do love being a black, jewish fan of a TV series that's only un-reedeemed villains are a greedy, hook-nosed merchant that travels the world and a foreign black man.
#idk ive just finished my rtte rewatch and with a refreshed memory of the series i have. feelings#httyd#race to the edge#httyd rtte#racism#rtte krogan#trader johann#httyd racism#also drago was only in rtte for like less than a minute or smth#but the fact hes intentionally designed to be as ethnically ambiguous as possible to look foreign compared to our white nordic heros#while simultaneously being like the s*avage angry domineering and evil black man sure is. something#also to clairify: i love httyd and rtte with all my heart its my special interest but#that doesnt mean i dont get to be pissed abt blatant 'non white features = bad' stereotyping#its likely not done with malicious intent but. implicit bias so#shrugs#i migjt makr another post going more in depth idk its 4am im sleepy and have school in a few hours#moth.txt#deyas dragons
